veeery minor spoilers ahead:

just finished The Feast quest, and man, does this hit hard when you are doing the romance arc with Hans. like in no reality can you convince me that at least Hans's feelings for Henry aren't intended as an integral part of the whole story. yes, you could say that for someone like Hans there are other possible reasons why these news are so devastating to him. but for you as the player this whole thing - the dramaturgy of the sequence, the music, the dizzy slow motion, the shots of his terrorised face, of him standing alone at the window, staring out at the road - it only really matters to you when you have already picked the romantic dialogue options a few times before this plot takes place.

and god, how it hurts.

We seen how much this guy cares for his pack members even though he whould never admit it, so imagine how protective is he with you, someone spoke of you slightly baddly? this guy will be ready to chalange them into fight in instance 💀 , if u mention his overprotectivness he will just shrug you off saying you are just imagining things and being pain in the ass.

there are also a lot of casual examples of him caring about you, you struggle getting up on your horse? this guy grabs you and swings you on it and then acts like nothing had happend, you complain once about needing something? Next day it appears out of nowhere in your chambers.

he whould be likely less harsh with you then with others if u didn’t listen his commands, not feeling like burning down villige? ok he will let it slide this time 🙄 , that whouln’d go unoticed by other, so just imagine everyone sharing akward silent glances, Janos and Adder whould tease him so bad about it.

he whould probably try to get you to drink with him, if you declined due to you being non drinker, he will play it off cool but then sit in silence getting drunk for rest of the night.

He whould most likely confess to you while being drunk (which he is most of the time).

when you two happen to have kids he whould be the type of person that doesn’t know how to hold that baby no matter how many times you explain it to him, so he just proceeds to carry it by one of it’s legs or by back of it’s shirt when you aren’t around 💀

he whould be the kind of father to say “don’t make me call your mother” to his kids when they are misbehaving, it isn’t because they take you more seriously, it’s because he doesn’t care about dealing with them himself but also does not want wanting to stay silent on their mischief.
