New fic in which Kaz, Jesper and Wylan have a sleepover after getting snowed in 👀

i need a fic of jesper being fully in love with kaz and kaz being oblivious as fuck that he feels the same and then wylan comes along and jesper is like "well it's not like i have a shot with kaz, and this guy is cute" and then he slowly develops feelings for wylan but he never really forgets about kaz. and kaz is just. so confused. as to why this guy, this boy, really, with his stupid doe eyes and brilliant smile (that he tries to hide every time - why does he do that?), makes his blood boil.

cue to kaz walking in on jesper and inej talking while jesper says "i love him, 'nej", finally realising that he has lost jesper to someone else (and only now understanding that what he was feeling was jealousy). and kaz distances himself from jesper and wylan and jesper is sad and wylan is sad cause jesper is sad and in the end it's wylan, of all people, that confronts kaz about his feelings (what feelings? kaz doesn't do feelings).

wylan just tells kaz that he knows, and kaz panics because how the fuck did wylan even find out about kaz's feelings for jesper when kaz himself didn't know, but wylan is talking about the fact that he knows about jesper's feelings for kaz and that he trusts him and that it's okay because, honestly, he kind of has a crush on kaz too and, what

what does he mean "too" ? jesper has a crush on him? wylan has a crush on him????? oh. well. that's...

and kaz goes all kaz about it for a while until he finds jesper and wylan fighting about wylan letting it slip to kaz that jesper loves likes him, when jesper had been hiding it for years and, what the fuck, "years"? so kaz makes some kind of surprised sound and jesper hears and they lock eyes and stare at each other for what feels like a fucking century until wylan is like "oh for fuck's sake just make out at this point"

and they don't, because it's kaz, but they do talk and all agree that jesper should just date both of them.

and after months of seeing how devoted wylan is and how much he loves jesper and how happy he makes him, kaz realises he has fallen in love with wylan too, a bit, and they tentatively try to all date each other and struggle from time to time but it works and it's perfect.

When Kaz says it, he means it to be a mockery. Wylan knows it, but doesn’t flush with shame or embarrassment. 

He catches a challenge in Kaz’s dark eyes as the pet-name falls from his lying lips. It’s a taunting echo of the brothel workers calling for their pimps, and all Wylan offers in return is a slight tip of his chin. 

Jesper whistles, a low sound. “Didn’t know that’s how you liked to play, boss,” he says with a laugh. 

“He’s just doing it to be annoying,” Wylan says. 

Still, those rasping words have begun to lace around Wylan’s mind all the same. Kaz is the one sitting on the bed with his hands bound — although that really means very little with Kaz — but he isn’t submitting without a fight. He never does on these sorts of nights and, as Wylan stands above him watching with Jesper at his side, there’s no surprise to the dirty tricks Kaz has brought out. 

Stop being a brat, Kaz. 

Then come do something about it, daddy.

Wylan isn’t sure why being called that name makes his blood run hotter. He knows that he likes saying it to Jesper, likes begging for it, likes whining when he knows satisfaction awaits him at the other side. He has for a while, and feels the echo of that name on his own tongue even now. But hearing someone else say it to him — and Kaz, at that, even if he’s doing it to be a skiv — has his pulse racing. 

And yet now Wylan imagines more. He imagines scrabbling fingertips on silken sheets and hitching sobs in the throat of a broken man, torn free by his guiding hands. In his head he sees it; Kaz on his back, shirt undone but not off, hair tousled and face flushed as pleasure taunts him from just out of reach. In his head Wylan hears Kaz moaning and sees a smug grin on Jesper’s face, sees a world where Jesper has a hand in Kaz’s hair and leans close enough to brush his lips on Kaz’s jaw as he speaks. Be good for daddy, Brekker, he’d say, but he’d mean Wylan. Because Wylan will watch, Wylan will direct. Wylan will be the one in charge, and he’ll take both of his lovers to pieces. 

He pushes his shoulders back, lifting his chin to make sure that when he looks at Kaz now he’s looking down at him. Something dark flashes in Kaz’s eyes, and Wylan feels hot with the thrill of power. He swallows. 

“Say it again, Kaz.”

i am working on the amateur porn au where he's 3rd co-lead!!! and one day i'll get back to the "weaning jesper off parem au" which is a much more miserable time for wy (and jes and kaz and everyone obv). wy also has a miserable day in the high fantasy one where kaz is trying to speedrun prophecy by installing jesper as king (wy's the son of the prev king). i have many kawesper wips for someone who's not yet managed to finish writing a wylan pov scene

i've got a very very exciting new project happening and i just have to talk about it so! friday snippet! 🎉

Kaz Brekker steps through the carved archways of his childhood best friend’s bedroom to see the crown prince of Kerch sitting cross-legged on his bed. He’s flushed. He’s very nearly shirtless. He looks patient and very expectant. When Kaz stops in the doorway the Prince tips his chin up, only just slightly, and the low gleam of the lanterns settled on his bedside make his blue eyes shine.

Kaz Brekker is, for the first time in a very long time, at a complete loss for words.

“Don’t block me out of my own room standing in the door like some useless podge,” Jesper mutters, which only barely startles Kaz out of his reverie. It’s a reverie, and he instantly feels foolish for it. The Prince shifts whatever sheer shawl is draped over his shoulders to draw it a little bit tighter around himself, but Kaz can still so clearly see the hinted-at peek of his bare chest beneath it. There are freckles, aligned like the stars Kaz lives his life following. He steps to the side, though, feeling out of his depth in a way he never usually is on the high seas.

“Your highness,” Kaz says, dryly.

The Prince rolls his eyes.

“Saints, Jesper,” he groans. “You said he wouldn’t be annoying.”

“I made no such promise,” Jesper counters. “I said he wouldn’t be annoyed to see you like– this.”

That makes the Prince flush again, a little pink tinge on the gentle curve of his cheekbones. It’s charming. It makes the freckles on his face stand out even more, somehow, until it feels like they’re glowing with moonlight. They might be: the wide arching windows bathe the room and all its occupants – including the Prince – in a gentle silver glow.

“Well, I’m not doing this if you don’t agree to call me Wylan,” he says. He sounds petulant.

Kaz still isn’t certain he knows what this is.

I loved ur new kasweper fic!!! Wylan calling kaz out n just sitting on him is so funny to me and I loved Jesper taking charge of wylan!! I loved how you presented how they all want each other but not in a angsty piney way in more a “denial, o shit not denial ig” !!

ahh! Thank you! I really don’t think fics give wylan enough credit for being very direct actually and not dealing with much bullshit at all after a certain point 😂
