it’s been such a long day. her back’s a bit curved when she gets out of the car, the LA breeze hitting her locks in all the right places. the keys jingle out her grasp before she catches them again, swiftly. with a final huff, she fixes her fringe before twisting the key and heading inside.

"yn," she calls out, a tad bit of exhaustion in her voice, "i’m home!" her boots come off right after, left next to the front door. you can hear the sound of sophia's bag dropping onto the kitchen island and her whiny noises as she looks for you. each step is getting closer to your shared bedroom, a tired grin on her face when she reaches you.

10:47pm, the clock says. "c'mere, soph," you murmur, opening your arms and inviting her to lay next to you. "made you some buldak for later, hm? yoonchae said you like this brand."

"oh, you're the best, yn. but yeah, later, ‘m real tired," she replies, burying her face on the crook of your neck. your hand comes up to tend to her hair, easing out the few twists she got from napping in the car. your touch is soothing, making her breath even below you.

watched this video and it’s such a good analysis (as mina le’s vids always are) on the lack of originality lately. she does explain rlly well tho how it’s also a cycle in life and the nostalgia industry but she’s inspired me to try and create more rather than constantly consume.

also i think it’s fun to look at how ppl are responding to KATSEYE’s GNARLY atm. it’s a relatively new and original concept to the pop scene we currently have, not completely original i know but it’s so shocking imo bc it hasn’t been seen before - from pop girls especially.
