DANI & Y/N ROLLING W THE LGBT FOR 11 MINUTES GAY (FT. THE KATZ BEING OVER THEIR GAY SHYT)

*Loud technical difficulty transition* Video of Katseye doing the gingerbread house competition. Megan and Yoonchae are fighting over decorating the walls while Dani and Lara are scheming about stealing the maknaes’ strawberries. Sophia, Y/N and Manon—as the older line—were asked to do their house on a similar set next door.

“No, because why is Yoonchae such a snitch,” Dani joked, licking the frosting from her fingers as Lara cackled with the front of their house clutched between her fingers. “I swear, this girl was definitely a teacher’s pet growing up in school.”

The latter gasped in faux outrage at the Latina’s teasing, shooting her the biggest side-eye.

“Oh my God,” Megan suddenly burst into hysteria, catching the three members beside her off guard. “Remember—Remember that time Dani stole Y/N’s shirt. Like the one she got in Greece—the one she cut, so it was off shouldered?”

Dani immediately screamed once she realized what incident Megan was recollecting. She stood from her seat, leaning over a retreating Yoonchae to place a hand over Megan’s mouth. Lara’s eyes widened at her teammate’s antic, hands grabbing the older’s hips so she wouldn’t fall into the table of food.

The camera cut to Sophia, Y/N and Manon next door, their actions halting as they stared off screen at a muffled screech. The three glanced at each other, their hands hovering over the parts of the house they were making.

Manon eyed Y/N, elbowing the younger. “Sounds like Dani’s having a little too much fun, baby, if y’know what I mean.”

Sophia shot her a grimace, “Nobody ever knows what you mean, Manon. Oh my God, you’re ruining the—!”

The shot cut back to the younger line of Katseye members. The camera zoomed in on Dani’s fluster, her pale cheeks burning a faint shade of pink as she desperately tried to cease Megan from sharing the embarrassing encounter.

“Megan, I swear to God—!”

“Wait, I remember this,” Yoonchae chimed.

Megan’s devious cackle echoed around the room, leaning back and away from Daniela’s grasp. The whisker dimples etched under her eyes, they curled into thin curves from how hard she was laughing. “Dani snuck into Y/N and Manon’s room at night and stole her shirt while she was showering. And—and, when Y/N came out, she spent like twenty minutes looking for this stupid shirt because she lives in that graphic tee.”

Daniela knocked her chair back abruptly with the back of her thigh, storming off screen with red cheeks as Lara shouted insincere assurance that the story wasn’t as embarrassing as she had recalled.

Now Yoonchae was laughing, pointing off screen at Daniela, who was hiding her face in her hands behind a scattered crowd of their filming crew members.

“Dani begged Yoonchae not to tell Y/N she had her shirt and she was hiding in her closet, pretending to look for something the whole time before Yoonchae ratted her out.” Megan leant back in her chair, almost tipping backwards—if not for Yoonchae holding her upright—at how hard she was laughing. “Oh my God, Dani was so embarrassed, her face got all red and she like refused to leave her room. Y/N caved and just gave her the shirt, and Dani just wears it around the house 24/7.”

“Yeah, it’s Dani’s like, designated pjs.” Lara added.

“It was so funny because Dani thought she was so slick with it.” Megan sighed, her laughter dying down. “Anyway, if Y/N wasn’t the nice, good girl she was, she would’ve filed a creepy perv report against Dani, I swear on all the moms.”

Their manager ushered Dani back onset, plopping back down beside Lara in defeat. Her hair was a little tousled and her cheeks were flushed, the tip of her ears radiating heat as she stared down and fought the small smile creeping its way onto her lips. Her dimples evident.

“I have never, in twenty years of life ever been violated like this.” The Latina murmured, eyeing the three cameras around them respectively as Lara rubbed her back up and down. “For the record, I got Y/N that shirt because I had one. I wanted us to match in Greece when we were shooting that video and I swear I thought it was mine.”

“Mhm, whatever you need to tell yourself.” Lara chuckled. “Y/N’s one was cut, but okay��”

*Loud technical difficulty transition* Cut to a Weverse live in Manon and Y/N’s room. Manon was sitting on the floor, fixing her hair in the camera as Y/N read comments over her shoulder. The collar of Manon’s striped button-up was flared and the V line hung a little too low. Y/N, in a beanie with the hood on, her make-up still on from the day and big hoop earrings skimmed the comments Eyekons were making of the eldest member’s outfit.

“They’re saying you’re looking too seductive,” Y/N joked, looking down at Manon’s chest from over her shoulder. She grabbed the collar, fixing it and smoothing it out to cover a bit more skin Manon was flashing the camera. The younger smirked, her eyes hooded as she eyed Manon through her long, fluttering lashes. She tucked her bottom lip between her teeth, jokingly sliding a hand over Manon’s shoulder. “Save the show for me tonight when the camera turns off.”

The older seemed to return the same level of freakiness as she raised a knowing eyebrow. Her hand found Y/N’s neck, grabbing it as she leant in and turned her head dramatically over to cover both their faces. Their giggles could be heard before they pulled apart, glancing back at the camera at the amount of frantic comments flooding their live.

A particular verified user seemed to catch Manon’s eye.

“Well, I didn’t know Dani was watching.” She leant closer towards the camera, reading what the girl had typed into their chat. There were a couple of comments with an exaggerated amount of capitalized yelling and angry emojis. “‘Stop flirting before you make me gag’ and ‘I can hear you guys from the living room please shut up’. Dani’s on a call with her family downstairs right now, so she can’t join us. Bad girl, she’s tuning into this live instead of talking to her parents.”

Y/N gasped in excitement, readjusting her sitting position. She whipped her hand out, holding up an open palm.

She rambled, “I made a list because Lara and I wanted to make a hear me out cake. Okay, so basically we had a men’s and women’s version. But the men’s one is so short, so we’re doing the women’s one, okay? Hear me out.”

Manon slapped her in the arm, shooting her a warning glare. Reminding her they had certain rules they needed to follow on live, to not say anything that would get them in trouble.

“Okay, so basically I’ve been watching these sisters on youtube and they’re hilarious. The Kalogeras sisters? I am absolutely in love with Demitra, she’s so funny and so good at singing.” Y/N bit her lip, “Dani got so mad at me when I was watching them the other day between rehearsal. She said if I was gonna watch someone with curls, it should be her.”

Nearly immediately, as if on cue, Daniela bursted through their door and into their room. She was sporting a beige jacket, her hair tied into a bun as she tackled Y/N to the ground.

“Stop! They’re gonna think I’m crazy.” Daniela squealed, her arms wrapped around the older’s face as they wrestled off screen. Manon side-eyed them in disgust as she continued reading the comments about Daniela’s affectionate nature when it came to Y/N. They always seemed to be touching in some way when they were together, as if they couldn’t stand being away from each other for too long. “And literally take her off that hear me out list, I should be the only curly-haired person you love!”

Daniela noticed Y/N sitting alone beside her. The older was just staring intently at Sophia and Manon debating whether or not the best tiktok idea collector was each other.

The Latina’s hands crept towards Y/N’s under the table, which the video zoomed into. [ The way they thought they were slick ] Daniela laced their fingers together loosely, tugging her closer until her back was pressed against her front. Daniela’s arm laid over Y/N’s shoulder, her hand playing with the ends of her hair. Y/N didn’t seem to mind, used to the Latina’s need for physical intimacy as her hand rested on Daniela’s thigh.

Across the group, Lara and Y/N shared a glance. The Indian dancer raised an eyebrow, throwing the older a smirk at their positioning. She nodded off towards the camera, almost like she was reminding the older of their duties.

Y/N peeled away from Daniela just the tiniest bit, feeling the younger sigh in protest.

The video zoomed in on a blurry image of the two still cuddling as Sophia squealed in disbelief at something Manon said. They were so obviously affectionate with each other, Yoonchae and Megan were whispering and eyeing them in teasing irritant.

“Dani, y’know you won’t die if you just sat normally beside Y/N for once, right?” Manon snorted, earning a harsh punch in the arm from the Latina in response as Y/N laughed.

“Yeah, ain’t nobody tryna pry the poor girl from your hands, babe. Y/N can’t even eat her pizza cuz you’re all over her.” Lara collapsed into a laughing fit as Daniela hid her face behind Y/N’s neck. The older stroked her hair in comfort, laughing at their members’ teasing. “See, Dani needs her mommy to come save her from embarrassment.”

“We just moved in and Dani’s already tryna steal my roommate,” Manon joked, “Such a thief, Lord.”

For the rest of the live, with a light atmosphere of just talking and being together, Daniela and Y/N stayed cuddling together as they fell into the rhythm of conversation with their friends.

The host, a fan favorite for being playful and cheeky, is known for asking light-hearted and sometimes embarrassing questions.

"Alright, now, we’ve seen how close all of you are, but we want to know more about the dynamics between Daniela and Y/N. You two are always together, always laughing and making jokes. So, here’s a question: is there any moment when one of you just absolutely flusters the other?"

“Remember that time last week when we were rehearsing, and I said, ‘I think you look really cute today,’ and you literally froze and couldn’t finish the choreography for the next five minutes? Like, it was so funny ‘cuz Roy was getting so frustrated that our best dancer was completely messing up the sequence.”

Daniela���s eyes widen, and she immediately turns bright red. The fans erupt in laughter, knowing exactly what moment YN is talking about from a vlog that was uploaded a couple days ago on a day in the life of Katseye. Daniela quickly covers her face with her hands in embarrassment.

"I—I wasn’t expecting you to say something like that, okay?! You just... you just looked at me and said that so casually! How was I supposed to focus after that?!"

Y/N pouts, pursing her glossy lips at Daniela. "Aww, come on, Dani. You looked so cute, so I had to tell you! But it’s okay, I won’t tease you too much... unless you want me to."

Daniela stammers, still covering her face, and the fans are loving the playful interaction between the two. YN leans in a little closer, her voice softening.

Y/N chuckled, leaning over to rest an assuring hand on Daniela’s thigh. "But seriously, Dani, you always look amazing. Don’t be embarrassed."

Daniela’s heart skips a beat, and she’s now visibly flustered, her face as red as a tomato. She shifts uncomfortably in her seat, trying to hide her smile.

"I’m not embarrassed! I just... I didn’t expect you to say that then on camera, or now on live TV."

YN chuckles and pats Daniela on the back, giving her a smile, while the fans continue to cheer for the adorable interaction between the two.

The host hummed, "Looks like we’ve learned a little more about who keeps who on their toes! Thank you for sharing, Dani. I’m sure YN won’t let you forget this anytime soon."

Daniela, still a bit flustered but laughing along with the rest, glances over at Y/N, who gives her a wink (which the camera and crew fully catches, as an exaggerated edit with a winking sound effect added in post). It’s clear that their close bond and playful teasing are one of the group’s favorite dynamics.

when katseye's main dancer daniela avanzini accidentally throws shade at chart-topping singer y/n l/n on an interview, the internet erupts in chaos. with y/n already in hot waters with the press over her latest scandal, both their pr teams scramble for damage control. the solution? a 'picture-perfect' fake relationship to turn the headlines in their favor.

FAM MEETING

standing on the front porch of the katz’s house with a bouquet of flowers in one hand and the other holding oreo up to her side carefully, y/n struggled to ring the doorbell, bumping the button with her shoulder. rocking back and forth on the heels of her sneakers, she nervously gripped the bouquet and glanced down every second at the puppy, using her as an escape from the running thoughts in her head.

the door swings open, revealing daniela in all her beauty and grace, though her eyes immediately locked in on the puppy in y/n's arms, honeyed eyes lighting up like lights on a christmas day, immediately holding her arms out for her fur child and cooing, the members rushing behind her to lay eyes on the dog.

sophia, the leader (y/n did her research), welcomes and ushers the fellow singer inside the house, a small smile on her lips. “it’s so nice to finally meet you.”

“ah, yeah. likewise.” y/n hands her the bouquet of flowers meekly, a small chuckle spilling from her lips. “uh, i was originally planning to give them to dani, but it looks like she was more excited to see oreo than me or the flowers.”

sophia muses, eyes crinkling as she chuckles. “thank you. they’re very pretty.” daniela watched the whole exchange silently, the girls fussing at the black and white border collie in her arms.

watching from afar and helping sophia with the dishes, deft fingers placing plates back in the rack came into a halt, eyes unconsciously drifting to y/n and yoonchae in a deep conversation on the couch, while the other girls were too busy chasing the border collie around the house, squealing and giggling.

yoonchae was introverted, that much daniela knew. though it wasn’t because she was scared of people, but her slight insecurity with her english skills and the lack of knowledge of the language kept her from being more talkative with those she wasn't acquainted to. and to see her completely warm up to her— what, fake girlfriend (?), sent flowers blooming and butterflies to erupt in her stomach, a small smile curling at her lips.

“she’s nicer than i thought.” sophia murmured beside her, observing the sight in front of her just like the dancer, a thoughtful hum resounding in her throat. “the girls seemed to really like her. i mean, look at yoonchae. who knew she’d be the most social with y/n out of all of them?” cue the excited screams of the girls towards the puppy.

“she’s a catch.” the filipina added, glancing at daniela who looked mesmerised at the scene unfolding in front of her eyes.

ੈ✩ a/n - hey…𓏗-𓏗 it’s been a while since my last post and again sorry. I have been working and trying to get my bag. A little life update: I met katseye during their first fan event which was CRAZYt they are so pretty in person, then I went to see the txt vr movie seeing them so close was freaking me out while also kicking my feet (and yes I’m seeing it a second time I’m delulu). I want to start writing little scenarios of the members instead of full stories. Maybe it will help me write more and get more creative. Inspired by my girl Stephanie Soo and her husband (I love them!)

Y/n Rose started her channel 3 years ago and it instantly blew up because of her aesthetic style and people loved how relatable and humble she was with her new found fame through social media. Lots of people talk about how y/n is a loser stuck in a hot person’s body because of her clumsy self and does little stupid things that people find funny and cute. Her viewers didn’t just get invested into her very entertaining content, but because of y/n’s mysterious boyfriend. Who goes by Soob or Binie and sometimes toki which means ‘bunny’ in Korean. Reddit fans tried their hardest to try to find any photos of her boyfriend through her old post, but unfortunately nothing was found besides him being Korean because of the toki nickname and in videos he’s teaching y/n Korean.

Fans are so desperate to see his face since they know he has to be fine to be able to bag someone as beautiful as y/n, plus he literally has people post edits on tiktok of his hands because his hands are just that attractive to many. Luckily y/n’s fans are respectful and don’t push y/n for information even fans that meet y/n in person don’t sneak pictures of him and don’t answer people’s questions about him.

Currently the two are flying back to Japan since it’s literally their favorite place to visit since it has everything they’re obsessed with like; anime, Nintendo store, and really good food. Y/n filmed a little montage of herself playing on her deco rog ally (a handheld console almost like a switch) then of her putting on skincare along with a face mask. Until tragedy struck because Soob took off his glasses and placed them on his seat before going to the restroom to wash his face, as he wanted to do his skincare with y/n and once he came back Soob completely forgot he placed his glasses down and sat on them.

The two gasped at the crack sound that came from his butt. “No you did not.” Y/n tried covering her laugh with placing a hand over her mouth, while looking at Soob and back at the camera. Soob slowly reached down and took a pair of now flimsy glasses causing the couple to silently laugh. Y/n accidentally hit her little table so hard that her camera fell off since it was placed at the edge. With Soob’s quick reaction he was able to catch the camera mid air, “y/n-ah!” He whispered yelled. “We can’t already start breaking things before we even make it to Japan.” Soob adjusted the camera in a better angle while y/n hid her face in her (Soob’s) hoodie trying not to be too loud.

After calming down y/n wiped her tears from laughing so much. “Show them your glasses binie.” Soob then held his glasses out like those people who review makeup products, with his hand behind the glasses so the camera can focus on the damage. “Mind you this is the second time this has happened. Where he sets his glasses on the chair goes do something then comes back and his ass does all the damage.” Soob breaks into a laugh. “Sorry that my ass is pretty strong.”

Y/n gave a quick room tour of the big hotel room that has an amazing view of Tokyo with the help of her very cute boyfriend who is a great camera man. As y/n was talking she couldn’t help but look at how her toki was giving her heart eyes making y/n lose focus on what she was trying to say. “Stop looking at me like that!” He instantly smiled and continued to tease her. “Like what?”

Fans definitely screen recorded the clip and started making edits quickly. The two finished unpacking and were supposed to start getting ready to adventure outside, but y/n saw that Soob looked so comfortable laying on the bed that she just had to try the bed too. As y/n was now laying down next for Soob explaining their plans to the camera, he instantly got a wave of sleepiness with the warmth of y/n by his side. He set an alarm on his phone which he placed next to him and started to snuggle into her. Y/n was unbothered Soob hugging her or being in frame because she would just edit a sleepy yongmeong sticker over his face.

“He’s making me sleepy~” y/n snicker while watching her toki sleep with his head resting on her shoulder through her viewfinder. It didn’t take long before y/n closed her eyes and started sleeping with the camera still filming. She ended up editing a little fast forward clip of the two sleeping before it cuts to them actually walking down a little street with of course Soob being her cameraman.

“So we’re actually at a convenience store because someone got sleepy and then got me sleepy, so we ended up sleeping for a couple hours.” Y/n explained, while also swinging their connected hands back and forth happily. “Blame it on the jet lag because I’m so used to New York time.” Soob tries to justify himself. “I guess.” Y/n playfully rolls her eyes at him making Soob laugh. The couple were a few steps away from the convenience store before Soob cuts himself off, “oh! Should we show them your fit?” He backed away to give the camera a full shot of y/n’s outfit. “No, I look like Adam Sandler right now!” Y/n whined, hiding her face with her hands slightly embarrassed by just wearing Soob’s hoodie again with loose gray sweatpants with bows running all down on sides of her legs, paired with her cute decorated crocs. She was still giving a coquette feel to the fit.

“It’s giving Adam Sandler meets coquette vibes.” Soob jokes further leaving a pout on y/n’s lips. “I’m joking. You look very cute.” Soob gently pulls y/n by her hand into a hug comforting her. Cute little gestures like that instantly boosts y/n’s mood, she could never genuinely get mad at Soob. “Let’s show the viewers your OOTD.” Y/n makes sure to just film from the neck down. “Binie has his classic white button up, wide legged pants, basic white shoes, and to top it off his brown bag. It’s giving very boyfriend vibes 101, very demure, very cutesy, very mindful.” Y/n and Soob burst out laughing, getting stares from a couple of people, but they didn’t mind.

“Let’s go get your flavored ice.” Soob wrapped his arm our y/n’s shoulder guiding her in the convenience store. “Oh my god yes! Guys I have been seeing that mainly in Korea there’s this thing- I forgot what it’s called, but it’s for people who love to eat ice. It’s peach flavored ice!” y/n was so excited making Soob smile down at her still filming. “It’s also because she would see those Korean cheerleaders do the little dance and then sit back down to eat the ice.” Soob added. Y/n pulled away from Soob and started the iconic dance the cheerleaders do, making Soob laugh more.

To no one’s surprise y/n loved the ice and literally finished it in 5 minutes. They got a lot of snacks before heading to their next stop which is a popular tanghulu stand. It was a pretty crowded place since there’s lots of stores all around plus it was the evening, the perfect time to hang out. They weren’t the only ones thinking the same because not far from them was a female streamer obviously streaming also eating tanghulu with her friend. “Guys this is so good!” Her eyes wided while munching on the solid sugar-covered strawberry. She wasn’t paying attention that her chat was freaking out about a certain couple that was being shown in the corner. “Huh? Why is everyone freaking out? Is there a celebrity around here?” Even her friend was confused looking around.

The female streamer was now closely reading the comments until a certain comment in all caps shocked her.

“You just revealed-no fucking way!” The poor streamer panicked because they were also big fans of them, but she just unintentionally did something bad. She knew how private y/n is when it comes to Soob to the point where even if Soob is showing something on his phone that y/n blurs the reflection of his face on his phone in videos. The streamer quickly ended her stream abruptly, “dude I have to go up to them and tell them.” She looked at her friend with a stressed expression. “I’m sure they will understand. We’ll go together, plus you didn’t mean to show Soob’s face like that.” Her friend had a point. So she took a deep breath and began walking up to them.

As the couple was just finishing their second sweet treat of the day the poor streamer interrupted them saying their thoughts to the camera. “Um…I’m sorry to interrupt, but hi I’m Alice I’m a streamer and I was streaming literally not long ago and…”, Alice was trying to find the right words. “I didn’t know you guys were in the frame and many, many people saw Soob’s face. I’m so sorry.” Alice hated confrontation and was about to burst into tears with how their smiles instantly dropped. The couple looked at each other trying to feel words on what to say.

“Oh, um thank you for telling us instead of leaving us to find out online. Don’t feel sorry it wasn’t your fault plus we’re in public people are recording and taking pictures. Plus I know I could only do so much to try and protect Soob’s identity.” Y/n caressed Alice’s arm to try to make her feel better, clearly seeing her distressed face. “I can’t hide forever, and I again appreciate you telling us.” Alice was shocked at how they were taking this. ”And I’m assuming you're a fan since you know Soob and I.” Y/n wanted to lighten up the mood. “I am!” Alice bursted into tears. Making everyone laugh, as she got to free her emotions. “I loved you guys since the beginning and oh my god you are so handsome and she’s so pretty it’s insane! You are such a power couple and I love seeing Soob always helping you record and you always covering his face with yongmeong who is such a cute character!” Alice finally got to say what she always thought of saying if she ever got to meet them.

Both y/n and Soob’s heart was melting at the cute sight of Alice fangirling and expressing her love for them. They ended up taking pictures together and ensuring Alice that it’s okay and truly wasn’t her fault revealing Soob.

It was trending everywhere the clip made it’s rounds and Y/n quickly addressed it before anyone would try to send hate to Alice, and Soob wanted to make a video with y/n after a couple of weeks finally actually revealing himself. He felt like it was inevitable for this to happen and it was bound to happen just not like this. With his decision to do this y/n was a bit opposed to doing this because she knows that Soob is a very private person. But she could tell Soob was already set on doing it.

“After lots of thinking I think it’s time to show the world the literal love of my life.” Y/n and Soob were certainly sitting on the floor in their living room back in New York with a yongmeong face pillow still covering Soob’s face. “Are you going to put it down?” Soob chuckled at y/n. “I’m nervous!” Y/n was more anxious than Soob. “I’ll do it then.” Soob took the face pillow and placed it on his lap. Y/n squealed seeing Soob’s face in the viewfinder.

“Hi I’m Soobin also known as Soob and Binie.” Soobin covered his face feeling shy with y/n hyping him up.

The world suddenly was more colorful, the air was fresher, and the water was bluer and clear now that Soobin revealed his face. People were happy having an actual face to the name and seeing the most visually stunning couple. Soobin even unprivated his instagram but his instagram was literally a fan page of y/n because it was girlfriend material photos of y/n, and his only post with his face was his most recent one that still has y/n in the picture. Which people found so cute that Soobin is so down bad for y/n.

it seems like there’s no bad blood between them. they really enjoy each other’s company and are eager to see what new projects they’ll undertake and what achievements they’ll reach together. they’re very hard workers, putting a lot of effort into everything they do, and they genuinely want this group to succeed. however, lately, they’ve been feeling like they’re being tricked or played. some members aren’t doing well, and it feels like some are being portrayed in a way that doesn’t reflect who they truly are. there’s a sense of, “oh, i’m being tricked” or “they’re doing this on purpose.” but they know that this isn’t who they truly are. it seems like all they wanted was to show others how much effort they put into everything and how hard they work, but they feel hurt and disappointed that people misinterpreted that. they might be thinking, “why can’t you see how hard i work?”

besides that, it feels like they really encourage each other and make an effort to be there for one another, helping the group feel stable and supporting each other’s overall stability. they’re aware of the incredible things they’ve been manifesting for the group and appreciate the steady growth they’re experiencing, which excites them about the future. however, there are also some underlying fears or worries. they understand how challenging this industry can be, and there’s a lingering concern that things might not work out in their favor. despite their hard work and dedication to their dreams, there’s a fear of potential disappointment. but the girls themselves have changed a lot. whatever was shown in the documentary is not who they are now. they’ve undergone a significant transformation, both individually and as a group. once they began working together and viewing things from a new perspective, all of them evolved. after leaving the survival show, many of them shifted their outlook and started to see things differently. their connection has definitely experienced a profound change.

at the same time, i'm also seeing that they might seem close to each other, but behind closed doors, their communication doesn’t seem as strong. it feels like some of them are walking on eggshells, hesitant to express everything they want for fear of causing any tension. it seems like there are opinions they hold back on, carefully choosing their words to avoid disruption. there is a genuine desire to maintain a harmonious relationship and to keep the group strong.

when it comes to the whole manon situation that arose from the documentary, it seems that while they were on the show, they were very aware of the power she held, which made them feel incredibly stressed and influenced their actions. they recognized that manon had a unique energy and presence that allowed her to get what she wanted, and this realization made the girls feel insecure and added more pressure on them to perform better, while manon felt quite differently about the situation. now, it seems they view her in a different light, as they’ve moved past that period and found closure. they feel more comfortable with each other now, but as the situation resurfaces, it’s causing them pain. this ties back to the trickery i mentioned earlier. they are currently trying to let go of the past and take time to heal and clear their minds, especially after seeing all the comments and discussions about the topic.

The One Thing I Did Right

synopsis. jennie knows people will think that she sees ariana as a trophy, but trophies mean u doing something right, and if ariana the only thing she has ever done right in her career than she happy with it.

a/n : this idea been in my head for awhile and ariana is actually a full developed oc i created for a katseye added member that i never got around to write about, but i wanted ariana to have a developed lore and jennie was basically supposed to be a her adoptive mother . So enjoy my take of jennie internal monologue !!!

Jennie sat on the edge of the hotel room bed, staring at her phone screen. Another wave of notifications. Another post. Another article. Another question.

"Jennie, why are you doing this?"

The voices in her mind echoed louder than the outside world. She could hear them clearly, even though no one had asked her directly in days. Or had they? Maybe they had, but it didn’t matter. The question lingered in her thoughts, like a heavy weight pressing against her chest.

Why are you doing this, Jennie?

It felt so simple, yet complicated. So many people — people she cared about, people she worked with, people who called her a friend — would never understand why she did what she did. Why she chose to take in a teenage girl, a girl who wasn’t even hers. Why she took on the responsibility of raising Ariana when she was still living a life as an idol, as a part of Blackpink, on a never-ending world tour.

Jennie didn't need anyone to tell her what they thought. She already knew.

It wasn’t the first time she had doubted herself. She had grown used to it over the years, after all. The constant questioning of whether she was doing enough, being enough, achieving enough. She had always been surrounded by success, but what did that really mean when she couldn’t figure out what she was doing with her life beyond the glittering lights of the stage?

If anything, the fame and the applause had only amplified her uncertainty. She'd spent so many years under the weight of expectations — from her company, from the fans, from the people around her — that sometimes, she couldn't even recognize herself. Who was she beyond the idol persona? Was she more than the girl who could dance, sing, and be pretty for the cameras? Could she be anything other than the person everyone wanted her to be?

She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, the cool air from the window brushing her skin.

You’re not good enough.

That was the voice she often heard the most — the voice that whispered in the quiet moments, the voice that made her doubt her every decision. Jennie had made mistakes before, and she would probably make more in the future. She knew that. But none of those mistakes had stung quite like the ones she’d made as an idol.

The wrong words in an interview, the missteps in choreography, the missed opportunity to connect with fans in a way she truly wanted. She’d spent so much of her career trying to be perfect — and, in her mind, failing again and again.

But then came Ariana.

It was a cold, dark night in New York when Jennie had found her, sitting alone on the street, her face hidden in her hands. At first, Jennie hadn’t even known why she stopped. Maybe it was the nagging voice in her head telling her to do something, or maybe it was just that feeling of emptiness, the quiet call that echoed through her heart when she saw someone who needed help. Either way, it felt like a mistake at first — a strange decision that would disrupt her carefully controlled life. But then, it didn't.

She stepped up.

It wasn't like Jennie had suddenly become this perfect, selfless person. She wasn’t a superhero, and she knew she would never be. But in that moment, as she looked down at Ariana — scared, vulnerable, alone — she realized something. She had done something right. She had taken a risk, and it hadn’t been for herself. It hadn’t been for the cameras or the fans or anyone else. She had done it for Ariana, and in doing so, she realized she had done it for herself too.

She had stepped up.

For once, Jennie had taken action in a way that felt genuine. For once, it wasn’t about being the best idol, the most successful, or the prettiest. It was about being the kind of person she wanted to be. A person who could help, who could offer care, who could make a difference. Even if it was just for one person.

But there was a cost.

Jennie knew she couldn’t hide what she had done forever. It would eventually come out. The relationship between her and Ariana, how Jennie had taken her in, raised her like a daughter... it would be too obvious not to notice. And when it did, when the world began to ask questions, Jennie was already preparing for the whispers.

She knew what people would say.

The judgment would be swift. She could already hear it in her mind — the doubt, the raised eyebrows. "Isn't she an idol? Isn’t she on tour?" They’d question whether it was a waste of her prime years, a distraction from her own career. They’d say she was too young to be tied down by the responsibility of a teenager, that she was throwing away her future. They'd talk about her like she was some sort of fool for choosing to raise someone else’s child when her own career was at its peak.

And maybe they were right. Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe she was wasting her time, sacrificing herself for a cause that no one else could understand.

But Jennie didn’t care.

She didn’t care about the trophy they thought she was chasing, about the “perfect idol” image she was supposed to uphold. They would call Ariana her trophy, her side-project, her distraction. But Jennie knew the truth — trophies were only given to those who did something right.

And if Ariana was the only thing Jennie had ever done right in her life, then so be it. She would wear that with pride.

The world could judge her all it wanted, but Jennie had made a choice. She wasn’t going to be controlled by the opinions of others anymore. She wasn’t going to let the fear of failure or the pressure of being perfect stop her from doing what she knew was right.

In the quiet of the hotel room, with nothing but the distant hum of the city outside, Jennie allowed herself a small smile. She had taken a chance on someone who needed her. She had stepped up when it counted.

And maybe, just maybe, that was the one thing in her life she could be proud of.
