While it’s not all the time, could you please stop commentating on the Patreon supporters below each of the comic pages? It’s pretty needless to riff on whoever is put on there as it adds nothing to the overall experience for each page. It’s also a pretty normal occurrence for a webcomic artist to do so once you see comics like Eye of Ramalach and Rascals.

I will stop after this. I just find the whole concept of putting Patreon supporters names in the pages stupid.

It actually did get loads better. If you can bear that the first 7-11 years (its not like the website has dates on the comic urls) of the comic are just. Atrocious. Then the comic picks up rather well. And I’m not just saying that because that’s when the gay couple becomes canon.

All of the characters have arcs where they grow as people and are all better for having them. That’s 10000% my shit

I started rereading that webcomic from forever ago. I remember why I quit reading it in the first place. The writing, pacing, characterizations are all god awful. I know I had read years of it prior to my quitting so I think I’m going to try to get through this part. Hopefully those all get better since this comic is still ongoing. I want to believe they get better over it’s 16 year history.

What made you think of that at all? Just because it was another old Katbox comic with fanservice doesn’t always equal “Las Lindas, but [blank]”. You really were just one massive tool with a single-minded hatred for furry comics back then, huh?

Our World Webcomic Update: Knowing full well that this is a really awkward point to do this, me and CV have decided we need to put Our World on the shelf for a while. We’ve talked about this for a few weeks and have both been feeling the burnout for some time, but more recent events have forced us to re-evaluate whether it’s really healthy for either us or the story to continue forcing ourselves when we’re not at our best. CV feels worn down by the production process and needs more personal time – while I’m having career anxiety and need my personal creative time to position myself for more fulfilling work making games. (I fully admit this was because I had an emotional reaction to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 last year and realized I’m not making what I want to be making with my life.)

In short, Our World is stopping here for an indefinite hiatus. We know this is a bad place to pause, and we’re sorry about that. We planned this part of the story out months ago, but our need for a break only came up more recently. This project (that has been a personal hobby project for so many years for the both of us) has never reached the level of readership we’d hoped it would find, but the readers we’ve had have been great to talk with. A special thanks to our Patreon backers; your support helped us believe in our work (and buy Christmas presents).

I will fulfill Patreon reward obligations for January, and then the campaign will be suspended (Or cancelled, if it cannot be.)
