If you’re someone who’s been always out and about at malls, you might have probably seen these stuff they call Labubu being sold out at almost every stall and you’re already probably aware of the Labubu craze that’s going on -whether physical or in social media. Sure, Labubu may seem cute or innocent from afar, but know some facts about these things before you go collecting them

Origin Of Labubu

The history of Labubu began in the year 2015 when an illustrator named Kasing Lung created the story series The Monsters, as strongly influenced by the Nordic mythology. This tribe includes : Zimomo, Tycoco, Spooky, Pato and of course, Labubu , with the latter quickly gaining tremendous popularity after having been featured by Blackpink’s Lisa who accessorized her bags with them.

Labubu, itself, is an elf character (it’s a she, by the way). Labubu has high pointed ears, nine serrated teeth and doesnt have a tail, with a mischievous and kooky expression. Up to this date, Labubu has been released in more than 300 colors, shapes and sizes.

In the year 2019, Kasing Lung then got into an exclusive license agreement with Pop Mart , a toy company popular for its collectible toys often featured in a blind box format (more like a mystery box) . Labubu has been first launched in the year 2023 where these charms come in a standing position with adjustable heads, feet and arms and measure about 8 cm x17 cm x 7 cm. What’s Wrong About The Labubu Doll?

In terms of spiritual stuff, Labubu has been inspired by demonic mythology.
