Let's all greet Tomita Gou into our citadels!

Tomita Gou is named after Tomita Ippaku (? - 1599), an attendant of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. After Oda Nobunaga's death, Hideyoshi set out to unify Japan as the de jure shogun. After Kuninori Inomata, who served the Hojo clan, captured Meikumo Castle for the Hojo, Ippaku, with Tsuda Morizuki, was sent as envoys to the Hojo clan to let tell them of the punishment for the Hojo.

After the war between the Toyotomi and Hojo, Tomita Ippaku worked as an intermediary between Hideyoshi and Date Masamune. In 1959, Ippaku interrogated Masamune for his involvement in the attempted coup from Toyotomi Hidestugu.

Hideyoshi also sent Ippaku to rule over the Tsu Castle, in Ise Province. Tomita replaced Oda Nobukane, younger brother of Oda Nobunaga. He stayed there until his retirement in 1599, later dying that year.

With the last wave of enemies defeated, Ookurikara quickly scans the area to make sure there aren't any more threats hiding anywhere and that the rest of the unit was okay. Sada and Fudou seemed to be doing fine, Kashagiri was helping Urashima up, both looking a little scratched up but nothing too serious. Where was Horikawa?

He turns and sees the wakizashi separated from the rest of the group, struggling to get up. He runs over and lifts Horikawa up, hoisting him over his shoulder.

A Comeback, and Some Deserved Rest

"Aruji." Juzumaru nods towards his Saniwa. "You look like you could use a long rest."

I've rested long enough. But time and again, I find myself leaving all of you on intervals that...

"That you feel like you're abandoning us? Oh, perish the thought, Aruji. You know for a fact that we are all aware of your drifting nature."

Juzumaru... I'm sorry... The Iko battlefield took too much out of me. I wanted so much for Kashagiri to come home to us, but...

"I understand the severity of that land, Aruji. And you need not to punish yourself whatsoever. You've done your very best, and that's all we could ask for our dear Saniwa."

As if on cue, Izuminokami and Horikawa come into the scene.

"Aaah, I thought I heard ya coming, Aruji!" Izuminokami chirps pleasantly. "Welcome back."

"Don't worry, Aruji-san. As long as you're back safe and sound to us, we can always try again next round." Horikawa gestures the Saniwa to follow suit. "Come, everyone's waiting. We got your favorite tea brewing too."

Maybe he could use a little holiday over at his honmaru...

I dreamed about Nobunaga and Masamune last night. I just stalk about the stage actor but... WHY uweee. Is that because they haven't appear recently or... whatever.

I've just realized something...

In Touken Ranbu, their sword become team such as Nobunaga's sword (Hasebe, Yagen, Souza, Fudou, Mukotsu, and Jikkyu), Masamune (Shokudaikiri, Tsurumaru, Ookurikara, and Taikogane), and Uesugi (Sanchoumou, Azuki, Kenshin, Gokotai, Nansen, Himetsuru, Goke, and Kashagiri). But most of them later belongs to Ieyasu. Funfact.
