Watching The Ravening War as Karna, my beloved chili pepper, gets caught up on war as the inheritor of a spymaster's legacy. She is still a child, who in her own words is used to being treated as dispensable. Why was she not allowed to live as a child? Will she be made a hero and a martyr, or a symbol of resistance - will they forget that she was just a kid.

I can't help but think of Murphy from Naddpod (C1e97).

Love her as both PC and GM, but when she's a PC, she can chill more and just focus on one character and make them one of the best characters ever (looking at Karna and Antiope). Plus I NEED to see her and Emily work together. I'd love to see her GM for a campaign Emily's in, but I want them to get shit done together.

Unfortunately I have the ADHD that makes it extraordinarily difficult to listen to podcasts and not have the visual input of subtitles. As much as I've been able to hear I love NADDPOD, but it takes far too much effort to try to listen to. I want him in the dome behind the screen please.

something really satisfying about Karna and Colin slapping Deli though. Like. Colin's reasons are obvious, but Karna also really deserves to slap him. Because the subtext we're getting from Aabria is that Karna's been Deli's skald for YEARS now, and he refuses to acknowledge her romantic feelings for him in any meaningful way because he's so emotionally invested in Colin and Ariana.

Also like. They get to slap him together.

If I had a nickel for every complicated throuple where one of them is a black woman with magic who trades in secrets, one was a groomed politician/leader, and one was an outcast who has to hide his origins and at least one of them is brutally murdered in the name of a religion involving mass destruction of everything that I was currently obsessed with where the fandom constantly ignores the canon “relationship” between the leader and woman for the sake of the gay relationship, I would have two nickels which is a lot actually.
