Your standing by the lake watching the autumn leaves fall. You can smell him before you can feel him as he back hugs you. "Hi baby," he whispers pressing kisses to the back of your neck. "Hi," you say simply as he pulls you in tightly. "What’s on your mind princess?” He asks as you smell him in, like he's your favourite smell. "Just how beautiful the world is and how content I am," you say meaning every word as you hear Eric hum against your exposed skin on your collarbone. "I'm content too," he says as his hand raises from your waist to your chin.
Pulling your face to look towards your husband, he kisses you tenderly and soft as always. You feel his hard bulge digging into your back which breaks the kiss with a chuckle. "Horny are we," you say as you twist in his hold to face him. "For you, always," he growls with a mischievous expression. "Then what are you waiting for I'm yours," you say proudly letting him hear his favourite words. "Mine," he whispers as his lips press to your neck. "But let's take this indoors," you demand as he takes your hand.
You barely made it to your bedroom. Clothes falling off as your lips refuse to depart on the way up. His hands are bunched around your breasts, his tongue deep in your mouth before you fall to the bed. He rolls himself against you, his member digging against your heat. Arms by either side of your head he looks at you with those besotted eyes you adore. "I'm yours," you whisper to see his grin turn playful. Rubbing his member against your heat, you buckle against him to his chuckle. "Eric please," you whimper to his satisfaction. "What Princess? What's up?" He teases to your frustration. "I need you, I need to feel you in me," you beg as he continues to fail his strike against your core. "Please," you cry as your nails scratch down his back making him moan as he arches himself.
In revenge he slams himself in as you cry out. "I thought you wanted it," he teases stilling. "I want everything that is you," you moan out as he takes another sharp thrust into you. Kisses don't take long to build back up as you both get lost in each other. Meeting each others thrusts as you feel his sweat drip on to you. You begin to feel his thighs shake as he closes in on his high. While your body is not far behind, his hands grip yours as your lips depart. Eyes focus intently on you and his high as the drops of his sweat intensifies. "I love you Kim Minjae," he cry's out before he pours his seed deep within you. "I love you too Eric Sohn," you reply before your coil snaps and you come undone under him. Walls wrapping him tighter as he continues to thrust despite grimacing with sensitivity before he collapses on top of you.
"I'm addicted to you Princess," he says with whispery exhaustion. "Me too, never leave me," you say as your hands fall into his hair. "Never, I would search hell to find you I promise," he chuckled as you joined him. "Don't be so extra," you teased as he looked up to you. "No I mean it, if you leave me I will find you," he says as you flick his forehead chuckling. "I love you, I won't ever leave you so your fine," you reassure him pulling him back up the bed to intwine your body with him. -------------------🔺------------------
"Y/N come get up," you hear Donghun wake you from Eric's world. Your eyes not helping to focus as you struggle to understand what you just imagined. "Y/N we need to go now," Donghun growls with impatience. "How long was I out?" You question Donghun as he looks at you in fear. "You wasn't asleep?" He asks as you wonder was you dreaming. "I don't know," you say as you try to rack your mind for signs. You notice your in bed and you look to your clock you've been out hours, now that night is beginning to fall. "A dream I think," you say to reassure Donghun. "Was he there?" He asks as you nod hoping he wouldn't ask what happened while there.
"We're going now," he orders and doesn't wait for you to comply. Grabbing you he throws you over his shoulder as he leaves the house to your whimpers. "What the fuck Donghun," you growl as he tosses you into the front seat. Slipping into the car he refuses to look at you as you both fall to dead silence. "Donghun why are you acting so crazy?" You question as he looks at you sternly. "This is dangerous, like more then Yuchan ever experienced. We are getting you some where safe so he can't touch you," he says before turning to start the car. "Why do you have to keep comparing me to Yuchan," you shout frustrated. "Because If we don't do something your end up like him," he says gripping the wheel. "Eric isn't the dangerous monster you think he is," you splutter out as you hear a choke leave his throat. "Y/N this isn't up for debate, we're going to the temple," he says after regaining his composure. "Good maybe the Sharman can put some sense into you," you spat out relaxing into the car as best you could. Why had Donghun have to freak out? Is this because he was possessed by Eric earlier. Your mind suddenly adjusted to the fact you had slept with them both. It may have been Donghun’s cock and body but the words and features on his face had often been Eric’s. Was it Eric the whole time? Did Donghun have any recollection of fucking you against your living room wall? Or had he remembered it all and was the reason for his crazy behaviour.
---------------------------🔺--------------------------
Grabbing your hand as soon as you get out the car you dig your heels in, throwing his grip from you. "We're safe, we're here please stop manhandling me," you splutter as Donghun looks at you with fear in his eyes. "We're not safe till we get in there," Donghun says pointing to the temple. But before you could move you feel his arms fall behind you pulling you in. "Princess you promised to not leave me," Eric whimpers in your ear. "I have to for now," you reply hands falling upon his as Donghun walks to grab you once more. As soon as Donghun touches you he falls back in a heap whimpering.
"What did you do?" You cry turning to look at him. "Your mine remember," he says possessively. "I'm his too," you cry watching him step back with tears in them. "Please don't ever hurt him Eric, ever," you shout as Donghun drags himself to you. "No, no I won't let him," he says grabbing you pulling you into him as he bites into your neck.
You feel a rush of his emotions hit you, the warmth in your heart at his love. A lot more powerful then you could imagine, even from the moments he showed you before. His desire to fight even the darkest evilness just to keep you, His biggest fear of losing you.
"What the fuck," you whimper struggling slightly as you turned to him as his Eyes are fierce red. Donghun reaches you to press a hanky to your blooded neck. "I told you he was dangerous when will you ever listen to me," Donghun growls as Eric’s red eyes fall back to his normal colour. Sadness on his features as he steps backwards before running from the scene. "Eric," you cry to catch him but Donghun catches your hand. "Y/N he just bit you and you want to follow him. Please I beg you with everything I own please come inside the temple," he says shaking your shoulder with a tear falling from his eye.
Relenting you walk silently towards the temple stairs when your thrown into a heap on the floor. "Y/N," he cry's out running to you in pure fear in his eyes. "Changmin, Byeongkwan," he shouts out before looking to you calmer. "What did he do?" He asks as you look at him slightly dazzled. "He didn't do anything this time, or I didn't see him do it," you said to Donghun. He picks you up in his arms and starts to carry you as Changmin and Byeongkwan dash to you. But before he can welcome them, your both thrown into the floor. "Donghun," Changmin shouts as he reaches him. "You ok Y/N?" Byeongkwan says pulling you up. "Something threw us," Donghun says patting down the dust from his legs.
"Well let's talk inside," Changmin said as he looked worried in the surroundings. Byeongkwan held your hand as you try once more. But again your thrown from that hand back to the floor, hurting you much more from the impact. "For fuck sake," you cry thumping the floor. "What's going on?" Donghun asks worried to Changmin. "It's like she can't get into the temple," he adds looking to Byeongkwan as they both look at each other.
"It's because anything remotely evil can't enter," Sharman Park said making his way towards you all. "Evil, Y/N’s not evil, how can you say that," Donghun snapped as the Sharman made his way to you. "He bit her, pouring evil into her essence," Sharman Park said looking to them. "What does this mean for her?" Donghun says going to grab you, holding you tight in his grip. "Nothing, just she can't enter here," he reply's as Donghun whimpers. "How can we keep her safe now?" Donghun begs as the Sharman walks towards you, taking you from his grip. "We need to trust her to use her full potential talent," he said holding your hand. "Without the help of the temple," he said looking at you with almost knowing eyes. "What no," Byeongkwan said out with concern. "No I won't let her be alone," Donghun snaps as Park Sharman makes his way to him. "Let her be to fix this for now, hopefully in the next couple days she will be able to enter," he said as Donghun shook his head. "No no I'm not letting that happen I'm going to be with her the whole time," he said with defiant expression in his features.
"It's more dangerous for you then her, He's in love with her," he says looking to Donghun. "He killed her, he will do it again," Donghun cried out. "Don't let what I witnessed come true please I beg you," he cried throwing himself to the floor. "You witnessed it?" You questioned him as he looked up to your eyes. "I saw it too the blood dripping from his knife as your body was beneath him dead and lifeless," he choked out tears falling. You looked to the Sharman as you tried to comprehend that he had witnessed what you had too. Did that mean while Eric was using Donghun’s body to have sex with you, he was in the world you visited previously? "I confident she has what it takes to stay alive for a couple of days," he said looking your way. "Y/N go to the car," Donghun seethes as you look at them all. Sharman Park nods as you take the car keys obeying.
Getting in the car you look at Donghun, you can hear the anger in his tone even if you can't work out his words. "I'm sorry," Eric said looking at you. "Really you choose now to appear," you spit out. "Go to Sehyoon's it will explain everything," he winced as you tilt your head at him confused, before he disappears. "How am I suppose to know where he lives?” you grumble rolling your eyes. But as you look at the now vacant seat you find his card sitting on Donghun's seat. "Really why didn't you just drive us there," you spit out rolling your eyes. You take one last look at Donghun arguing with the Sharman before moving into his seat and starting the car. You tried to ignore the expression of fear in his face as the car came to life. But you had already started a pace before he could even reach the vehicle.
----------------------------🔺-------------------------
Arriving at Sehyoon's house, it looks peaceful. You can see why Sehyoon fell in love with it before he owned it. Knocking on the door you waited patiently for it to open. "You made it Princess," he said tossing his glasses off. "Really you jumped into his body?" You questioned arms folded his way. "Well it was the only way to be able to feel you a little more," he said pulling you to him. "Eric, we need to talk you need to make me understand," you plead. "First come," he says as he takes you up the stairs. But you freeze to the spot when you recognise it from his world.
"Wait this is," you gasp as he stands by the door to the room you already know inside. Opening the door he steps in, choking at the view. "Why is this here? wait are you Sehyoon's ghost?” you splutter looking at him. "Peel that, I can't do it," he says pointing to the white love heart wallpaper. "What?" You gasp as your mind swirls struggling to take it all in. "Your answers, they are beneath the wall," he says as you look at him with furrowed eyes. "Eric are you a vengeance spirit?" You ask as he looks to the floor. "Yes," he reply's almost silently. "Am I in danger around you?" You ask hoping for him to prove Donghun wrong. "I don't want to be," he whimpers as you walk towards him touching the face you hope he can feel. "I trust you Eric," you say quietly as he slaps your hands away. "Don't ever say that, don't ever trust me," he says, his eyes widened in fear. "Eric," you say sympathetically as he sniffles back a sob. "Just peel the wall back and I will explain more," he begs as you breathe in deeply.
Going to the wallpaper you take the corner in your fingers looking at him briefly as you pull. Heart beating you see Ivy. Pulling another piece you find the cherubs as you continue to earth the old wall mural. "Wait this is, I remember drawing this in your world," you splutter. "Princess, it's not a world, it's memories, our memories," he said sounding in pain. Your hands touch the wall and instantly taking you somewhere else.
The Room darkens as you rush to the door fighting for it to open. When it does a figure you can see moves within the room. "Eric is that you, please stop this it's scaring me," you whimper out. But before you can reach the light you feel the knife slide into you as your world tumbles. "Eric please save me," you cry in merely a whimper with the limited oxygen you have. You hear a chuckle that so dark and you feel for the first time terrified. Instead of Eric’s name you inwardly cry for Donghun.
---------------------------🔺--------------------------
Eyes flashing open you find Donghun cradling you. "I'm here I'm here," he coos as he holds you tight. "Your right he was evil," you whimper into his clothing as he holds you as you cry. "Is she ok? Is it working?" A voice hit out as you turned to look to the room to find another stranger. "Can you see Eric?" Donghun asked as you looked around the room shaking your head. "What's that?"Sehyoon said pointing to the mural. "That's my painting," he said confused as he walked toward it his hands inches from touching.
"No don't," you cried out, his hands touched the wall looking at you with confusion. "Why?" He questioned. "Because that's how I entered what ever that was," you splutter remembering him describing it as memories. Even though your death felt more then just a memory. "Well I would say if she can't see him and he's not been transported somewhere that there working," the stranger said as Byeongkwan nodded. "Thanks Juyeon i really appreciate this," Changmin said. "You can't ever take this off do you hear," Donghun said pressing his finger to the chain around your neck. Looking you found a black tourmaline Crystal attached to the chain. "What is it?" You asked touching it. "That's so your no longly sensitive to spirits," Juyeon says. "Eric or nothing else can't touch you," he added. "The thought of never seeing Eric again gave you a nagging Pitt in your stomach. But you tried to hold on to the fear of your life being taken. As well as the image of him holding the blooded knife above your dead body.
"You're staying here with me," Donghun said as he walks you to his home, his hand never leaving yours. "I'm not letting you go so you can stop with those looks," he says as you smile at him. "You going to hold my hand forever are you?" You smirk looking his way. "I really thought we lost you today, I'm never risking your life again," he said biting his lips close to tears. "You won't lose me," you said turning to him.
"What did you mean at the temple earlier when you said I was yours too," he said as you bite your lip. "Eric took me to this world, which he says is memories," , "Not that, about me," he said cutting you off making you relax. "I've liked you since we were kids, and since we slept together. I felt like I don't know, that you were mine in a weird way," you said looking to the floor as he pulled you into his chest. "Y/N I'm sorry but I don't like you," he said after a few minutes as you pushed yourself out his hold as pain seared through you.
"I'm in love with you," Donghun whispered locking his eyes with yours. "Wow really?" You asked as he nodded with a pink blush upon his cheeks. "However, there something you should know though I'm sure you guessed," he said pausing to breathe in. "We didn't completely sleep together,” He said looking at you as memories hit. The features switching between him and Donghun confusing yet alluring you further. "I know," you said out to save him saying those words. "Was it you at any point?" You asked not sure if you wanted the answers. "Up till we were seconds from having sex, it was a really hard battle I don't think i scathed much more to be myself," he said looking sad.
"It's ok, we just have to make our own memories, ones where Eric don't exist," you said cupping his face. "First let's get you bathed," he said standing away like he feared you.
---------------------------🔺--------------------------
Walking into his bedroom in your bath robe he leant you. You studied him laying in the bed his eyes closed tight. "Donghun?" You whispered as his eyes opened to take you in. "Where am I sleeping?" You asked as he chuckled before tapping the other side of his bed. "With you?" You queried as he looked up to you with surprise. "Do you not want to?" He asked as you nodded encouragingly and made your way to join him. His arms open for you to slip in next to him as he rolled to face you. "Today really scared me, I know you think it's because I fear what happened with Yuchan but it's not just that. It hurts knowing their’s a chance you could get hurt doing this," he whispers stroking your hair. "Was that why you wasn't amused being my mentor?" You asked as he nodded. "This world isn't for you, I like that it’s now safe," he said his finger brushing against your new pendent.
"Do you really have feelings for Eric?" He asked as you looked up to him. "I don't know, I wish I could easily explain, but I don't understand it. They are times that through these memories I'm besotted with him, it's like I'm someone else and he's all I see. Then when I'm Me, i feel like it's not real these emotions for him and all I see is you," you said as he continued to play with your hair. "So when your unconscious your in love with him?" He asks as you nod to his question. "If that’s where I am, then yes," you said as he went quiet. "But Donghun I'm fully me now and your all I see," you said cupping his face. "That's because I'm who's in your vision right now," he smirks as you chuckle while gently slapping his arm. "I wish you was always in my vision," you said as he sniggered amused. "Now that's greedy I need to bath, I need sleep, and so do you," he said as he placed your leg over his waist. The gown falling to show your legs and some of your bottom. His hands grab the cheeks of your ass as he looks up to you with desire in his eyes.
"Your naked under this?" He asks as you nod. "Not like you provided me with any clothes," you pout as he smiles devilishly. Hands falling to the top half he knocks it off showing your whole body. Sucking in a breath with admiring eyes, his hands fall to remove the gown completely from you as he hovers above you. "Your so delicious Y/N," he says pressing his lips to yours. It's like his lips need to devour every inch of your skin. Slowly from your neck as he peppers kisses down towards your navel to your heat. Pressing himself into your folds he licks strips before sucking the juices his tongue made. Soft moans escape your lips as he uses his tongue to take you to a perfect heaven. Meeting his wandering tongue you feel your high sneak up.
But he stops kissing back up so he can look at you below, a panting mess. His eyes fall to your neck and you know he’s looking at Eric’s bite mark. His hands fall and looks sad before looking back at you. "I claim you Y/N for myself," he says as you smile back. His lips fall to your neck as he softly presses kisses to the mark Eric made. Hands scrunching your breasts he suckles hard around the mark that your sure he reopened the wound. Leaving your skin with a pop he admires the mark before attending to the other side to repeat. "Now your mine," he says as eyes never leave his piece of art. "I'm yours," you smile as he sits on his heel between your legs.
First the T-shirt gets removed, your favourite body on show as you dribble. Then he attacks his pants to reveal his thick member. Leaning his naked body on to yours he brushes your hair out your eyes. "This time it really is just you and me," he whispers that has goosebumps fill your skin.
He then helps to place him self against you to push into you. Your walls stretching around him as he starts a slow pace. Hands falling to his back his tempo increases as he lifts himself slightly, resting his hands gently at the bottom of your neck. The feeling of being at his every whim and trusting him 100% your body shivers in excitement. Your hands fall to his, feeling the veins throbbing through them. He starts to lose him self as he fucks you, his speed increasing as his pressure on your throat tightens. All making you so intoxicated as your high snaps into you making you convulse under him, himself falling apart not long after.
Panting over you he lands on your chest. Your memories of Eric doing the same momentarily taking you. Snapping him back out your mind you focus on Donghun. Before he rolls taking you with him as you lay on his chest. "That was so good baby girl," he whispers as his hands fall to your back, stroking it letting you be content in that moment.
-------------------------🔺---------------------------
It had almost been a year and you and Donghun was going strong. Christmas had been perfect, your mother so happy that you were both dating. Sangyeon and his family as well as Haknyeon coming home for the holidays meant your Christmas was filled with so much joy. Yuchan had returned back finally fit and healthy. You enjoyed watching them talk about the exorcism that you couldn't take part of. It was as close as Donghun would allow you to get close to his spiritual world. Juyeon would visit monthly to check on your crystal. You never saw Sehyoon again but knew Changmin and Byeongkwan visited him regularly. You had visited Sharman Park a few times especially during times of unsettled, which occasionally you briefly had. Normally after dreaming about Eric and your death.
He had two new people visiting regularly which you got to meet Kevin Moon and Kim Sunwoo. He had called for a new mentor who happened to be Jacob. The very person who when you had a flying book hit you had taken your fear seriously. It was him who brought you to the Temple unable to mentor you at the time. Many of times you would watch him train his pupils. Kim Sunwoo reminding you a lot like you when you first started. You had even befriended him when he started getting frustrated. Donghun wasn't amused at your friendship, he said it was because of encouraging you to enter the spiritual world once more. But your sure it was his insecurity, you knew Eric was never far from his mind. You had caught him and Hyunjae often talking about him. Silence filling the room when ever you entered.
Though if you were honest Eric was never far from your mind, it was like a missing piece of a puzzle. If it wasn't for the fact you witnessed your own death you would have explored it further by removing the pendent. So you settled for just remembering the favourite parts of Eric in your memory.
--------------------------🔺---------------------------
You were sitting for coffee in the cafe waiting for Sunwoo when you noticed Sehyoon turn from the counter. "Y/N." He said excited to see you. "Sehyoon," you said leaping to pull him in for a hug. "How have you been?" You add as he smiles pushing his glasses up his nose. "Yes I've been good, you seem to be looking healthy," he said as you nodded. "Yeah I am, fancy sitting and catching up?" You asked as he looked a little unsure. "It's just one drink. I'm here anyway and you were coming here on your own worth," you said as he nodded taking a seat. "Have you seen Eric since?" You asked as he shifted in his seat. "Just memories," he added uncomfortably. "So your house is much more peaceful?" You asked as he looked at you unsure. "I just want to know your life has settled that's all," you said reassuringly. "Yes it’s much more settled then it use to be," he said as his Americano arrived. Your hands fall to your pendent as he watches intently. "You still wear yours, that's good to hear," he said looking relieved. "Yeah as if Donghun would ever let me not wear it. He's quite a overprotective boyfriend," you said sipping your own drink. "You and him are dating?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows. "Yeah we have for almost a year," you smiled watching his face pause to slope his glasses back up.
"Since that night right?" He queried a little too invasive. "Yes not long after," you said feeling a little unsettled. "Do you remember what happened when you were possessed," you asked wondering what occurred. "Like looking through a tv screen if I'm honest, but yes I basically remember most of it," he said arching his neck side to side as if he was struggling with neck ache.
Your eyes search for his pendent but you couldn't see any sign, despite wearing an open collar with several buttons undone from the top. You smile nervously as you stood up. "It was nice to meet you, I just remembered Donghun was suppose to meet me soon," you said standing up. "Ahh ok," he said looking a little bit conflicted. Taking a step towards you you took one back. Though you had only briefly met Sehyoon a few times he was acting even more odd. "You got something on your shoulder," he said as you grabbed your phone to look. You did indeed finding a stain from your cheeky pastry you munched. "Y/N," you heard Sunwoo call from behind you. "Sunwoo,” You waved intently his way turning your back on Sehyoon.
But before you could step towards to greet him you felt something yank you back. Turning to face Sehyoon you saw his face looking guilty. "Y/N I'm sorry he made me do it," he whimpered as you twisted back. Between you and Sunwoo was Eric, your eyes taking his angry yet desperate features in. Your hands falling to your necklace as your heart raced it not being there. "What's wrong?" You heard Sunwoo say as he caught up with you. "Eric?" You whimpered out in fear as Sunwoo spun around the roam. "There's someone here, wait why’s your necklace there?" He said looking to the floor in fear before his eyes took to yours.
"Y/N please I beg you come back to the house, I promise you your answers will be there. Please," Eric pleaded almost falling to the floor, his hands rubbed together as tears pour from his eyes. "Please if you wish to be with Donghun At least give me this. A chance to explain myself please," Eric said as you looked to Sunwoo. "You can't see him no?" You questioned as he looked confused looking at Sehyoon. "I can," the elder said as you twist to look at him. "Since I had a fall that broke my necklace i see him all the time," he said in fear stepping back. "Eric wait he's the," Sunwoo said pausing looking in fear your way. "We need to call Donghun," he said holding you to face him. "Wait just five minutes I need to talk to him," you said as he shook his head looking frustrated. Turning to Eric you put your hand to him. "Five minutes," you added before dashing off before Sunwoo could catch up.
Dashing to your car he jumped in with you. "Y/N they will follow you Sunwoo will have called him by now already," he said. "I don't think there is enough time to explain," Eric said with sadness. "If you promise not to kill me tonight I will keep them from entering the house," you said as you drove. "I promise your safe tonight," he said as you turned to him and smiled his way briefly. "Where's my cocky Eric gone?" You questioned. "He left when you left me for him," he whimpered broken in the car as silence filled unable for you to answer him.
---------------------------🔺-------------------------
Arriving at Sehyoon's house, Eric pointed to where the spare key was kept. Entering you grabbed a pole wedging it between the handle to stop anyone's entrance. Taking Eric's hand you run to the room as he stops at the door. "What?" You question as his face looked in horror. "I'm not in a human form I can't enter, I did evil in that room,” he cried as you looked baffled his way. "But we did things in here?" You question as he smiled warmly. "When you were alive yes, but we're both dead," he said as you tilted your head. "What do you mean I'm dead?" You questioned. "I killed you right their on the floor in the room, you know you saw," he spoke out tears falling down his eye. "Why?" You asked reaching him to touch him. "I'll show you but don't freak out, promise me," he cries. You walk into the room looking at him in the hallway you listen to nothing but your phone vibrating in your pocket. "I feel or see nothing," you ask him as he breathes in deeply. "Touch your artwork, especially the ivy," you looked at him with furrowed eyebrow. "It's toxic," he said as your eyes widened causing a chuckle. "Not like that," he said as you looked to the wall a board having been placed over it. Going to it you pulled on the wood till it fell off showing the beautiful artwork. Fingers fall to the ivy as the room brightens in colour before turning dark.
You fall to the floor as you hear yourself in the distance. "Eric is that you, please stop this it's scaring me," you whimper out. But before the you in this world reach the light you hear the gasp in her voice. You remember the way it felt having the knife puncture you. "Eric please save me," you hear yourself cry as you hear a chuckle that so dark as your eyes try to zone in on him. You hear the click of the front door startling the figure who yanks yourself backwards. Another whimper escapes before your body from this world falls to the floor. You stepped backwards towards the wall as you see the figure move across the room out the window as he climbs down. Rushing to the window to look at the escapee, you barely see him as he dashes with his cap on from the house as if he didn't just kill someone.
The door opens showing light as Eric appears panting as his eye fall to your figure. "No, No," he whimpers falling to you as his hands slide into the pool of blood. "Nooooo," he cries as he picks your body up sobbing that made you want to dash to him. "What have I done, they came for you because of me. I killed you," he cried hugging the lifeless body of yourself to him. "Eric you didn't kill me, you didn't," you say out into the dark. But you know it's pointless, this is Eric's memory your within not your past you. "I told you you wasn't allowed to leave me," he whimpers as he stood up hearing the police cars sirens from the house. Picking the knife up he stood silently, his eyes looking into nothing but blackness. The door opened further a jar to expose him for something he didn't even do.
Suddenly the room is pitch black and your returned to another memory. Eric is sat in a pentagon with candle lights. His tears red and angry as your heart squeezes remembering this one too. "Please, please, god hates me. He won't listen. I want death I’ll do what ever you want me to do. Just give me death let me go from this horrible world," he begs tears falling down his eyes in pure pain. He picks up the knife from behind his back, enough light on it to tell it's from what killed you. "My souls yours just keep Kim Minjae Safe for eternity," he whimpers as he stab's himself.
Your hands rush to him in your own despair. "No, Eric no," you cry as his eyes widen viewing you as he falls into your arms. "Minjae," he cry's as you shake your head, no I'm Y/N," you whimper as he starts shaking like he’s losing all his heat. "Your not, I know it's you, my beautiful Minjae. Thank you Lucifer you kept my Princess safe," he gargle's as blood begins to pour out on you. "Eric I don't know what to do," you whimper watching him die in your arms. "Let me go, the Devil needs me to pay to keep you safe," he chokes out as his hands rise to your face. "Eric why, why did you sacrifice yourself?" You whimper. "Because I love you too much to be in a world that your dead in," he says with panting breath. "Eric," you cry pressing kisses to his face not caring that blood is getting smudged. "I should never...... have taken...... the loan to buy..... this place," he says with his words whispers. "Eric, please tell me how to save you?" You cry sobbing as he smiles. "By being healthy and alive, till I find you again," he says as his eyes begins to falter. "You found me though Eric you found me, this is your present but it's my past," you cry as he smiles briefly before falling unconscious.
You bring his still body to your chest as you sob, your heart broken into tiny little pieces. "Eric I don't know what to do, I don't know how to fix this. I'm sorry I thought you were evil," you sob till your eyes feel wearily closing them wishing this to all be fake so you could return to Eric in your present. "Eric please wake me up I don't want to watch this no more," you sob. "Your killing me please stop this," you scream out.
You wake up in some arms and though you expect it's Donghun's your surprised to find Sunwoo holding your body. Your eyes struggling to take him in. "Y/N are you ok?" He begs shaking you a little as you nod dashing to the hallway. But your weak body falters falling to the floor. "Y/N careful," he says as his hands fall to your hips. "I need to find him, I need to find Eric," you cry. "Y/N I'm here," Sunwoo says as you look at him taken back. "He climbed through the window and I took his body when I heard you called for me," he said holding you closer to him. "Is this really you, please tell me your really here," you cried tears still falling from your eyes.
"Now you know what happened, now you know why I'm a vengeful spirit," he said as you shook your head. "No, Evil used you as its prey, you're not evil Eric, you didn't kill me, that man did," you said as he smiled warmly your way. "I brought out loans from loan sharks to pay for this house," he said as you cupped his face. "Eric that doesn't mean my death was your fault, from the memories I remember we had the most wonderful time here," you said as you wiped his tearful eyes. You hug him tightly into him as you let him sob in your arms. Tears equally falling from his as you cup his face. Pressing your lips to him you kiss him briefly as he smiles. Grabbing your face he pulls you back letting his tongue venture inside your mouth.
Suddenly you hear a crash of the door behind you. Thankfully your lips part before Donghun, Changmin, Byeongkwan, Juyeon, Jacob, Hyunjae and Sehyoon enter. "What the fuck," Donghun says pulling Sunwoo's body towards him shaking him. Juyeon routes behind him placing the pendent around him. "Donghun," you shout out as Byeongkwan and Changmin hold you tight as you fight in their hold. "No, I don't want it," you scream out fighting. "Y/N please I beg do as your told," Donghun says walking your way as Juyeon pulls it around your neck. "Why, why did you come here?" Donghun grabs you tightly. "Eric isn't evil, he’s not I promise you," you said falling to the floor hands together begging like Eric did earlier.
"Y/N he's Manipulated you, what ever he showed you it's false," he said picking you up from the floor. "He's not even called Eric Sohn, his name is Son Youngjae," he said as you tilted your head his way. "And he killed his wife Kim Minjae right here in this room for insurance money. Because he got himself into debt," he said as you felt the room spin. "No I saw, i saw the people he owed money to kill me," you said in denial. "Y/N this only happened ten years ago, you had already been born. They are not your past memories, they are false ones," Donghun said as you shook your head struggling to comprehend everything. "No this is impossible," you said pulling at the chain in a desperate need to talk to Eric.
"Y/N if you pull that necklace then your choosing him over me, I won't ever see you again," Donghun threatens as you look in horror. "I won't fight you or argue with you anymore, the choice is all yours," he said as he walked from the room. "Hyunjae, he really didn't do this," you whimpered to him. "We done our research he did," he said sympathetically. "Y/N she's basically your doppelgänger, she's so much like you. It's why you were his easy prey," Hyunjae added. "So all those memories they were fake ones?" You ask as he nodded.
--------------------------🔺---------------------------
The car journey home was silent as your brain struggled to analyse everything. You felt as if your mind were about to blow, you weren't ready to accept Eric as a murderer. The rational part of you wanted to speak with Eric. But as you looked at Donghun, you didn't have the heart to defy him. He must have been equally confused watching his partner run to another man. You were borderline having an affair with Eric in broad day light in front of him. "Sorry," you whisper as his eye momentarily take to yours. "For what? Their is loads of things you've done," he said accusingly. "For all of it, for the cafe with Sehyoon, for going to his house and for you know," you paused biting your lip as his jaw tenses. "For loving another man," he finishes for you. "Yeah," you say playing with the hem of your top. He drives to the side of the road turning the car off to look at you. "Your in love with him?" Donghun asks looking hurt. "I don't know, I'm confused. It’s like I'm in love with the memories, the life we once had," you admitted as he threw his head back. "Y/N they are not your memories, you were never with him. He put those images there," he said pressing his fingers to your temple. "He gave you an image to love and you took it. Forgetting me in the process," Donghun said with watery eyes. "That's not true I didn't forget you, the second I'm awake it’s you that I think of instantly," you said holding on to his hands. "But when your where you are I don't exist," he whispered as his voice crackled. "Not true I called for you," you said recalling when you had endured first hand Minjae's death. He looked at you unsure as he pulled his hands through his hair. "Donghun I choose you, I didn't go to him even though I know your wrong about him. I won't save him at the cost of you," you said as he smiled your way. "I'm sorry for putting you through hell," you said cupping his face as he leaned into your hand. "I love you, I was so scared. Everytime I know Eric's involved I fear I will lose you," he said as your heart broke seeing the fear in his eyes. "It's over now, don't worry we can go back to our normal life," you said as he grabbed your hand to squeeze before returning to driving.
-------------------------🔺----------------------------
Every night you dreamed of Eric, nothing new but old rehashed memories that he had given you. You woke up Analysing them for the false narrative that Hyunjae Said you had been given.
----------------------------🔺-------------------------
Meeting with Sharman Park about ways to take Eric from your mind you were stunned to see he didn't agree. "You were given a talent, Eric's your first client and you're going to give up?” he questioned as you tilted your head confused. "Y/N, you were given this talent because your special, but you're throwing it away for greed," he said as you struggled for words. "What? How? I don't understand." You splutter as he chuckled. "Donghun is your own guilty pleasure, Eric is your work, your path, your destiny," he said as your brain struggled around his words. "Then why is everyone here against me fixing this?" You question knowing everyone agreed. "Because they fear the unknown, no one can sense him but you," he pauses as he passes you a file. "They fear him because they sense evil, and there is no way for adjusting the reasons to that because they can't see anything," he added as you let it filter through your mind briefly. "Donghun will leave me. If it works to my advantage, he will still leave," you cry as the thought of being without him hurts you. "He will be angry for a while but he will come around, have faith Y/N. He knows this is work, work is separate from personal life," he says drinking his cup of herbal tea. "I have feelings for him, as far to say when i have those images in love with him. This is far from work it’s personal too," you add acknowledging your emotions.
"Y/N when your Minjae you're in love with him, but Y/N is besotted with Lee Donghun. I felt your heartbeat when he walked in here as your mentor," he said smiling your way. "When Donghun realises that, he will come round trust me," he says with certainty. "I don't even know how?" You question feeling your mind burn. "You have to convince them, find a way. Those," he pauses to tap the files he handed to you earlier. "They will help your research," he said winking. "Wait you want me to be Hyunjae, Donghun and myself, in my first case and everything," you gasped as he chuckled. "Why not? you have the ability to sense him when they can not," he adds like he's sees something in you that you can't. "I don't know if I can do this," you whimper as he places your hands in his. "You can, I promise you you can, have faith," he said warmly.
You could do this right Prove Eric's Innocence and Keep Donghun?

BEST FRIEND A.C.E. A⇴Z HEADCANON ⇴ Kang Yuchan
Tumblr media
A ⇴ ATTENTION
Quite often Yuchan would give you his attention without even realising that he was doing it. His eye can’t help but look, and his ear definitely can’t help but listen for your laughter whenever he knows you’re around.
B ⇴ BICKER
When the two of you bicker, you usually use others around you in hysterics too because of how ridiculous you can get towards one another. No one can ever really believe the things that come out of your mouths when you bicker as you both have a determination to try and outlast the other when chatting.
C ⇴ COMFORT
It’s the one time that Yuchan is serious around you, when you need comforting. He knows as your best friend that he needs to be there for you, and he absolutely is. He won’t laugh or joke, he’ll give you a comfortable space to feel as if you can talk about what’s on your mind and also feel supported by him.
D ⇴ DISAGREEMENTS
On the rare occasion that the two of you argue, they never usually last for too long. Yuchan especially will make the effort to talk to you and understand where things weren’t wrong so that you both could fix it. The two of you had a pretty good understanding of one another anyway, but when a disagreement did arise you made sure to find out where things went wrong so you could learn something new about each other.
E ⇴ EARLY YEARS
Because you met in a professional capacity, the two of you found yourselves talking mainly because it was your job to. You tended to keep the conversation very strict between the two of you at the start, but that wasn’t what Yuchan wanted. The more time that he spent with you, the more time that he spent trying to get to know you better, encouraging you to relax and be friendly rather than professional.
F ⇴ FAMILY
Yuchan’s family were big fans of you, they were constantly reminding him not to let you go. They only ever wanted what was best for Yuchan and having you as a best friend was definitely one of those things. Every single time that they saw you, they made sure to remind Yuchan of just how great they thought you were, and he knew too that he was lucky, without them having to drill it into him.
G ⇴ GETTING TOGETHER
When the two of you hung out, you’d work off of impulse, neither of you ever really knew what you wanted to do. You loved to just see what took your fancy, whether it was something local, or if you fancied a drive heading further out to the outskirts of the city to see if you could find something new to get up to.
H ⇴ HABITS
The two of you had a habit of knowing exactly when the other was going through a difficult time. The lack of smiles on your faces would speak volumes straight away to one another, but even just when you were speaking to one another on the phone you could tell straight away when things weren’t alright.
I ⇴ INSIDE JOKES
His funny antics especially left you and Yuchan with many inside jokes between you both, as you never let him forget the ones where he left himself feeling embarrassed especially. You loved to use them to get Yuchan to do things for you as he never wanted anyone else to know about his humiliating moments.
J ⇴ JEALOUSY
Getting jealous wasn’t something that happened very often for Yuchan, he didn’t care about most of your other friends as he knew that he would always be your best friend and that no one else would be better than him. If someone wanted to try and get close to you, Yuchan often couldn’t help but just laugh at them as he knew that they would never get anywhere near threatening his role as your best friend.
K ⇴ KICKS
Yuchan got a kick out of making you jump, he was constantly hiding and jumping out on you to make you laugh, or scream. You were constantly on your toes as you never quite knew where Yuchan would come from as he kept finding new places to hide, spots that he knew that you’d never expect him to be too.
L ⇴ LOVE
He loved how well the two of you worked together, Yuchan always had fun whenever he was with you. Even if you weren’t at work and doing something silly like trying to win a toy at the arcade or deciding on how to organise your snacks so that they fitted in the cupboard to hide them from everyone else, the two of you were a great team, there were never any arguments or cross words at each other.
M ⇴ MEETING
The two of you first met when you were hired as a dancer for one of the group’s stages. You were shy to say the least when you first met as you’d heard several of the group’s songs, but Yuchan especially made you feel welcome and showed you the ropes which was how your friendship started.
N ⇴ NONSENSE
Most people saw Yuchan as the funny guy, but you saw that to a whole new extreme, he didn’t care what he looked like around you, he would embarrass more than he did around anyone else when he was with you.
O ⇴ OBSESSION
Yuchan was obsessed with your laughter, it was always a sound that he welcomed. Your happiness was something that Yuchan was particularly fond of and something that he always wanted to see with you too.
P ⇴ PRECIOUS MOMENTS
The moments that meant the most to Yuchan were the ones when the two of you were up on stage together. He especially loved when you danced more alongside him, being able to see your smile and your passion in dance often gave him the motivation to perform a little bit better too so that everything went perfectly.
Q ⇴ QUESTIONS
He never shied away from asking you for advice, most people knew too that Yuchan relied on you a lot. Even if it was a stupid question, Yuchan knew that you’d always try and answer it seriously for him.
R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS
Whenever he introduced you to a member of staff, he would introduce you first as his best friend, and then as a dancer. He did it mainly because he was proud to be able to call you his best friend, but also slightly as he wanted to make sure that none of the staff members tried to get too close to you.
S ⇴ SUPPORT
Your encouragement was one of Yuchan’s favourite things because you always made things sound so positive. He especially loved it if you were working with him as you could support him right before he went out on stage which was usually when the nerves started to eat away and trouble him the most.
T ⇴ TRIPS
One of the advantages of having you working with the group meant that you went on many of their group trips too. Yuchan loved nothing more than when he saw you on the list of dancers flying out with them.
U ⇴ ULTIMATE
He couldn’t wish for anyone better than you, you were the best friend that he had dreamed of having when he was younger.
V ⇴ VISITS
Quite often Yuchan would visit you at work and see what it was that you were getting up to. If you were working on something for the group, then he would never say no to a sneak preview of what that was.
W ⇴ WISDOM
He was like a box of advice for you, Yuchan always had something to say to try and make life just a tiny little bit easier for you.
X ⇴ XXXX
For the most part the two of you were quite affectionate, however if you needed not to be for some reason then you’d absolutely respect that. You knew when it was alright to joke and when to behave yourselves.
Y ⇴ YOU
You were his pride, he loved showing you off and bragging about how talented you were.
Z ⇴ ZZZ
The moment it seemed even just the tiniest bit unsafe for you to drive home, Yuchan would make you stay with him. He refused to let you put yourself in even the slightest bit of harm by driving late at night especially.

A.C.E & Us
Tumblr media
Title: A.C.E & Us
Pairing: A.C.E x Single Mom reader
Genre: A mix of things
Warning: Mentions of past issues
Chan:
Tonight has been such a good night and it couldn’t get any better. Work has been beyond hectic and I just needed a nice relaxing night at home. Cuddling on the couch with my boyfriend while watching his favorite movie? I was almost asleep, leaning against the side of the couch with my legs draped over his lap. So comfy. Nothing could go wrong. That is, until I hear scared whimpers coming from the bedroom down the hall. I frown at the sound, wishing I could fix it once and for all.
“Looks like he’s having nightmares again.” I whisper.
“Yeah, do you-” Chan starts to say when little feet pitter patter against the tiled floor.
A little light brown haired boy walks in, rubbing his eyes, “Mommy? I had a bad dream.” He murmurs, sniffling.
“It’s okay lil man.” I open my arms and smile as he walks over to us, climbing onto my lap. “Come on baby, we need to get you back to bed.” I rub his back. “No!” He shakes his head and hides in my neck.
Chan looks over at me, understanding in his eyes. A little bit later, both of us falling asleep, Chan takes the initiative, “Hey, big guy. What do you say I take you back in there and tuck you in? I’ll tell you a story, what do you say?”
He picks the sleepy boy up and carries him back to his room. I feel bad letting him do it. He’s my responsibility, not Chan’s.. He didn’t ask for this. The joys of dating a single mom... I get up and sneak down the hall, peeking in his bedroom door. Chan’s leaning back with him tucked safely under the blankets. I hear Chan turn the page and begin to read my son’s favorite story to him. I smile as I lean against the door, catching my boyfriend’s eye. He smiles at me but continues to read.
Soft snores eventually fill the room and Chan places the book on a dresser, wiggling out from underneath the boy’s grasp.
“Thank you.” I whisper as he walks towards me.
Wrapping his arms around my waist, he smirks and kisses my forehead, “I don’t mind. He’s a great kid.”
I smile at the compliment happily, “I’m glad you think so.”
“He takes after you. You’ve done well on your own, love.”
I feel my face getting red and hide in his chest, “I’ve done the best I can.”
“I promise to be there from here on out. We’ll do the best we can now, if you’ll let me.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Donghun:
“Hot chocolate in ten!” I hear from the kitchen.
“Right before bed, Donghun? You’ll give her nightmares with all that sugar.”
“She’ll make it through the movie, it’s her favorite. So, hot chocolate at the beginning won’t hurt babe.” He smiles, wrapping his arms around my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck.
“Fine, but if she wakes up with nightmares you’re taking care of her tonight. I have to work tomorrow.” I pout.
“Okay. I may not have been around long, but I’d do anything for her and you.” I tear up hearing the words. It’s only been eight months but the 5 year old in the other room loves him like he’s been there forever. I do too. It’s been rough, but Donghun has made it better. I can’t picture our lives without him. A tear slides down my cheek and he wipes it away with his thumb.
“Donghunnie! Donghunnie! Is it done yet?” I hear as my dark headed little girl runs in the kitchen. I let go of him and smile as he bends down and she runs into his arms.
“Not yet, my princess. Want to help me finish it?” He asks, booping her nose. “Can I?” She asks, excitedly.
“Of course. Maybe your mom can start the movie?” I nod at him when he looks my way, seeing that I’m being sent away from all the fun. Turning on The Little Mermaid, I pause it at the beginning and walk back to the kitchen.
I smile and lean against the door frame. Their backs to me while Donghun stirs the milk and cocoa powder together and she holds the mini marshmallows patiently in her hands.
“Can I add them now, Donghunnie?” She asks.
“Not yet, little one. I’m almost done.”
“Okay.” She pouts and I hear him laugh at her, “You’re just like your mom when she doesn’t get her way.” He says. I almost speak up when I hear that comment but let it slide.
“I want to be like mommy when I grow up.” She beams, looking up at him, “Can I add them now? Please?” She asks, getting distracted.
“You can add it to this one, princess.” He chuckles, placing a mug in front of her.
“Yay!” I hear her giggle and quietly take my phone out of my pocket to snap a picture of them.
----------------------------------------------------
Jun:
“Mom? Can we go get pizza?” My 8 year old asks as he gets in the car. I had just gotten off work and was exhausted.
“Sure, man. Did you have a good day at school?” I ask in return.
“Yeah and Mr. Park says he needs to speak with you again.”
“Again? What did you do kid?” I sigh.
“Nothing. I just have a few bad grades in math.” He grumbles from the back seat.
“Is he still inside?”
He nods and I pull into a parking spot and we walk inside the school, heading straight for his classroom. My palms are sweaty and I’m nervous. I don’t know why, I’m not the one in trouble. I knock on the door and walk in while my little boy sits in the chair sitting in the hallway.
“Mr. Park?”
“Yes?” He asks, looking up, “Oh! Hello. I assume you’re here to talk about grades?”
I nod, “I know it’s hard for him to grasp and I’m not great at maths. I don’t really have anyone else to help him, but we try our best.”
“That’s why I asked to speak with you. I know you’re doing your best and I was wondering if I could help him after school. I could come to your house and tutor him or we could meet in the library.”
“I- Really? That would be great. When would you be able to?”
“I could start today if you’d like. We have a test tomorrow and I could help him prepare.”
I nod happily and thank him. His smile lit up the room and made my heart flutter.
A year later and Jun was still coming over everyday.
-School-
“Hey, man. Did you understand everything today?” Jun asks as the final bell rings.
“Yeah, thanks Jun. Are you coming over tonight for mom’s birthday?” He asks the boy.
“Of course. I got her a gift and figured we could go get her a cake. I already told her I’d drive you home. She can relax for a bit before we get there.”
“Sweet!” He smiles.
“Come on, let’s go.”
-Home-
“Mom! We’re back!”
“Hey, kiddo. How was school?” I ask, walking into the hallway.
“Good! Jun said we’re going to study for my finals this weekend.” He beams.
“Good. Let’s enjoy dinner first.” I smile at him. Jun walks in behind the boy, holding a cake and a gift bag. “Jun! What’s this?” I ask, startled.
“Your birthday surprise.” He smirks.
“You guys didn’t.” I feel tears fall and smile like an idiot.
“Here, man. Sit these on the table for me?” He asks, handing the stuff over. The little boy nods, taking the stuff from Jun happily. Jun walks over to me and takes my face in his hands, “It’s your birthday, babe. You’ve worked a lot lately. You deserve it. I’ll cook tonight too.” Kissing my lips, he let’s go of my face and takes my hands, leading me to the kitchen.
He motions for me to sit and takes all the ingredients out to cook, working away.
A bit later, dinner is over and the cake has been eaten. Jun hands me 2 gifts.
“Open mine first, mom!” He grins. I open the biggest one to find a box of chocolates and a teddy bear, “Aw, I love it baby. Thank you.” I smile at him.
“My turn.” Jun smiles. Taking the smaller bag, I open it and find a silver chain with an infinity symbol that says forever. Tears swarmed in my eyes as I looked up at the 2 guys in my life that would always be there for me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sehyoon:
“Sehni! Where’s mommy?” The red headed little girl walks into the room and asks me.
“She’s at work, my sweet. She’ll be home soon.” I say, sitting the art brush down.
Her face fell and I walk over to her, bending down to her level, “What? Am I not good enough to watch you anymore?”
She giggles and shakes her head, “No, I just miss her.”
“I know you do but she has to work to take care of you, silly.” I chuckle, poking her tummy.
“I know. She works because I don’t have a daddy.”
“Where did you hear that, my sweet?” I ask, feeling my heart drop at the 4-year old’s words.
Her lip juts out, “A kid at school.”
I wrap my arms around her, picking her up and feel her arms wrap around me and her face bury in my neck, “Well, need I remind you... I’m not your dad, but I love you and your mom and I’m not going anywhere.”
“Promise?” She asks, sniffling and looking up at me.
“I promise.”
“Sehni? Can we go outside and play?”
“Sure. Do you want to ride our bikes to the park and play until it’s time for your mom to get off?” I ask.
Nodding, she smiles and I dry her cheeks.
“Go and grab your jacket then. Let me put my paints away, alright?”
“Alright!” She giggles.
I kiss her nose and set her on the floor so she can run back to her room.
---------------------------------------------------
Byeongkwan:
“Kwan?” I say, getting his attention and returning back to my coffee. He’s space out thinking about something.
“Yeah? Sorry, I was thinking.” He chuckles.
“I can see that. Want to talk about it?”
“Nah, it’s nothing bad. Where are the minis?”
“At school.” I laugh.
“Wait, then shouldn’t you be at work?”
“I have today off, dork. What’s with you today?”
He looks at me, thinking again and I really wonder what’s going through his head. “I love you guys, you know that? I know I haven’t been in your life for long, but I love you.” He smiles.
My heart rate picks up and butterflies explode in my stomach. I feel the heat rise to my face and the smile won’t fall off.
“I- I love you too.” I say, looking down.
“Really?”
“Yes, really.”
His eyes light up and he leans over, pressing a kiss to my lips. “I was thinking about when I met you 3 for the first time.”
My smile fades a bit, remembering the rough time in my life that was just 2 years ago. Homeless and living in a car with a 2 year old and 4 year old, while working odd jobs to make ends meet.
“No, no, don't lose the smile, baby. You’ve come so far.” He says, tucking a stray strand of hair behind my ear. I look down at the table and nod, “I know. It’s hard to believe we were there at one point though. I wouldn’t be here without you, ya know.”
Just then I hear the front door open and squeals of excitement.
“Kwani! You’re here!” The little girl grins, running into the kitchen.
“I am.” He smiles, holding his arms open for the 4-year-old and placing her on his lap.
“Bk! Will you play video games with me?” My 6-year-old asks, running in to stand beside him and wait for his answer.
“You’ve got to ask your mom, sir. Do you have homework?” He asks them.
“Not today! We had testing all day today.” The boy smiles and turns to me, “Can we mom? Can Bk please play a game with me?”
“After dinner and only if I get hugs and kisses first.” I laugh. I’m attacked by 2 children and kissed several times before I feel a kiss on my head and chuckle, “I didn’t mean you Kwan, but I’ll take it.” I smile.

stars are bright but only because of the dark

A hostile breeze of air swept across the little pathway between the different buildings on campus. As Haerim walked across the street to get to the little corner store that students like her frequented between breaks, she pulled the knitted scarf tighter around her neck. Usually, she didn’t have problems with colder weather because she preferred cold over heat, but she didn’t like winter for the memories it had always brought back.
She tried her best to shield her eyes from the snowy raindrops that welcomed students after the class, putting the hood of her coat above her head as extra protection. She walked swiftly yet carefully, planning to grab some lunch in the store before heading back to another class of hers under 20 minutes.
She let out a sigh in relief when she stepped over the threshold of the little store, thankful for the friendlier climate that welcomed her inside. As it wasn’t her first time there, she knew where to go and how to get there; she headed to the bakery section she had always gone to, searching for her favourite sandwich, only to find out that they had already been out of stock. With a slight disapproving flinch, she started looking for other options, her original plan thrown out of the window. She liked plans, she liked sticking to them, so having to change her plans didn’t exactly make her happy.
After she had grabbed an egg sandwich from the shelf, the guy beside her almost bumped into her when she turned around, and exchanging a glance, it was her automatic response to bow and say sorry. The guy did the same, but his eyes widened in the next minute.
“Oh my gosh! Haerim, hi! It’s been so long! How are you?” he asked joyfully, sandwiches long forgotten.
It took Haerim a moment to put the sight in front of her together with a familiar face from the past: Kang Yuchan. They had gone to the same middle school before she had gone to a different high school than the one that would have been the continuation of her middle school studies under the same institute, just the high school level of it. He had been the jokester of the class, knowing everyone and trying to befriend everyone. He hadn’t been a particularly smart student, but even teachers had liked him for his wits, so he had usually managed to avoid being reprimanded.
There was one more thing though that Kang Yuchan had been memorable for her: he had audibly told her that he had had a crush on her, and he had acted accordingly, gifting her with gifts sometimes and taking a seat beside her during lunches. The only problem had been that despite the fact that Yuchan had always been a good guy, Haerim couldn’t have reciprocated his feelings. She hadn’t even learned how to love herself back then, so how could she have loved someone else?
“I’m good. How are you?” She quirked an eyebrow in question after she had managed to pull herself back together. All those flashbacks came crashing down like waves, and the same old suffocating feeling was about to overcome her before she could snap herself back to the present, the reality.
“Uni’s been kicking my butt, but I guess that’s what I get for going to my friends’ band’s concerts instead of studying at a normal, humane time,” Yuchan blabbered, excited as always. Despite the matured features of his, the lack of braces, the contact lenses instead of the rounded glasses and the slightly longer curls, he had the same boyish smile, the same exaggerated way of speaking, and the same deep laughter. It’s like time had stopped, except for his appearance.
“Are you in university, too, right? Which major?” Yuchan continued speaking, his eyes widening in curiosity.
“Yeah, I’m studying Psychology.”
“Oh, sounds interesting! I’ve thought you would go for sciences. You were really good at them,” he recalled with a slight pout, scratching the back of his neck as if he had been trying to remember if she had had anything to do with Psychology back then. He wouldn’t find anything anyways, so she decided to save him.
“I guess I was.” She shrugged her shoulders with a slightly forced smile, trying to avert the topic, but Yuchan - like the overexcited boy he was - didn’t seem to notice her slight discomfort, and decided to push forward.
“Are you kidding me?” he exclaimed, earning a glance from a grumpy guy who was passing them by. She shot the stranger an apologetic smile, not like it would have mattered anyway. “You were the top of the class in Biology, Science, Physics, Maths and even languages. I’ve never met anyone who was more hard-working than you,” he remarked in awe, and despite his words indicating his respect towards her, she felt small and vulnerable instead. Just like back then. It was the same: he still didn’t see anything - didn’t see behind the interior.
She bobbed her head, signalling that she got his point, but she wished nothing but to leave as soon as possible. Looking down at her watch, she had to realise that it was actually better if she put an end to this conversation if she didn’t want to miss the beginning of her next class.
“Well, I have to go now. One of my classes starts soon,” she explained as she pointed at the cash desk, putting one of her legs in front of the other.
“Wait! You study here?” Yuchan realised a bit belatedly, though it shouldn’t have been that surprising. Their university was the home of a handful of majors with thousands of students, a lot even in one year, so she merely nodded, letting him realise that they indeed studied under the same university.
“Me too,” he pointed out the obvious with a wide grin, but seeing her awkward smile, her previous words finally kicked in. “Yeah, sure, go and pay, but I’ll contact you somehow, okay? We can catch up sometime,” he suggested gleefully, stepping aside, so that she could walk past him.
Haerim nodded, not quite looking forward to that catch up, but she wouldn’t want to voice it out, merely hoping that Yuchan would forget about this encounter as soon as possible. With that thought in mind, she left the shop as quietly as she had come in, the chilly weather welcoming her with open arms and the bittersweet memories of the past.
It turned out that Yuchan didn’t forget about meeting her. He found her on a social media site later that week, messaging her with a few questions and asking when she would be able to meet up to talk in person.
Haerim didn’t really feel like talking to him even though she knew he hadn’t been the one at fault for what had happened back then, and it hadn’t been his fault that he hadn’t seen what had been going on. After all, she herself hadn’t known what she had experienced. It had been as if she had been living underwater, and she hadn’t realised that she had been suffocating until she had managed to reach the surface level, finally taking in a deep breath after holding in her breath for so long.
It was just that… he reminded her so much of what she had tried to leave behind, and she was doing so well, she was living her life so freely, and meeting him after four years felt like suddenly getting rid of that plaster that she had oh so carefully put on her scars. Maybe she wasn’t bleeding like the first time, but she felt the pain. Even if she had gotten so used to numbing it, it was back yet again, and it was still hurting.
It wasn’t until she had come across a little post-it note from him when she was rummaging through her old stuff to re-organise her shelves that she decided to give him an answer for meeting up. The note read in the boy’s ever so messy handwriting:
“Good luck on your studies, Haerim! Hope you won’t forget us! Be happy, always!”
After that, they decided on meeting at a café around campus, and if not for the conversation that followed, she surely looked forward to stepping inside the cosy little café for a warm drink because it was freezing cold outside.
One thing she expected was for Yuchan to be late, and indeed, he let her know that he was on his way from a lecture hall, but he would be a bit late, so she sent him a reassuring reply, telling him to take his time (because knowing the boy, he could break a leg or two while trying to get from one place to another), she would wait at a table in the corner. While waiting, she ordered herself a mug of hot chocolate which came just in time with the boy’s arrival. He swiftly asked for a latte, plumping himself down with a huff.
He ruffled his hair, a few snowflakes falling off his chocolate-brown locks in the meantime, his hair sitting messily atop of his head. Despite the state he was in, he wore the biggest, brightest smile, his cheeks exploding as his lips raised upwards.
“It’s so good to see you again,” he started giddily, rubbing his hands together probably due to the cold. As expected, he didn’t wear gloves or even a beanie, a habit of his that she still remembered from their middle school years. Whenever it was cold, he was always missing either his gloves or a scarf or a beanie or really, a combination of the three. He was so forgetful, thus it was extra heartwarming when he remembered bits about her life and habits.
“You too,” she replied, a bit more loosen up than last time. His carefree attitude and the fact that now she was prepared to meet him again helped to put her mind at ease.
“Sorry for being late. I was just caught up talking to one of my friends about the test we have written,” he clarified enthusiastically, his cheeks deepening as he went on.
“How did it go?”
“Ah, not too good,” he replied with a pseudo-awkward laughter, ruffling his hair yet again. His laughter was still the same, she noted. No matter the darkness around her, it had always reminded her of the fresh breath of air that she could breathe in whenever she could head back from school, from the hell it had been. “But anyways, let’s not talk about it! I have better stories to tell.”
And so he kept talking and talking, asking her to tell more about herself in the meantime, and the past feelings of ease and serenity whenever she had been around him came back. She had always known how different he had been; how loud, how energetic, how carefree he had seemed, and if there had been someone who would have been the epitome of an energy ball, it would have been him. That difference didn’t frighten her or made her gloomy this time, it was that difference that made her smile now. He surely didn’t change, and in a world that was constantly changing, and with her thriving for change ever since she had been a kid, it wasn’t that bad to see something that was static.
Drinks long forgotten, the only indicator of the passing time was the sudden brightness that filled the cosy little place as the waiters switched on the lights.
“Are you… really okay?” Yuchan inquired after clearing his throat, his eyes boring into hers. He seemed really concerned in that moment, and Haerim had no idea why he was acting like that so suddenly, their last topic being an incident of him getting on the wrong bus on his first day at SNU, missing his first class terribly.
“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” She squinted, raising an eyebrow in question. There was something unsettling about the gaze he gave her; as if he would have been cautious to elaborate, but he was never one who thought twice before speaking up.
“It’s just that I met our Biology teacher from middle school a few months ago, and she asked me about you,” he started, fidgeting with the ends of his coat. Something that was suspiciously odd when it came to someone who was as bubbly as him. “And I guess it was supposed to be a secret that you went on to a different high school because you were bullied by Eunbyeol and her friends, but Miss Kim kind of told me about it, and I was so struck. Like, I was around you so many times, and I’ve really thought that you were doing fine, just a bit shy. I wish I could have seen something, anything! But I was even ill when you had that incident that made you turn to our homeroom teacher. I’ve never really liked her, but knowing that she said that it was such childish behaviour, nothing more…” he rambled on and on, his words dripping empathy, guilt and even fear.
Haerim sucked in a deep breath, then let it out in a long sigh. She tried to concentrate on the steady beating of her heart to calm herself down; dum... dum... dum... dum. It was in the past after all: the shadows, the memories, that classroom, her reflection in the mirror of the girls’ bathroom, tears streaming down her face. The shame, the feeling of abandonment, the look on her parents’ face. It was in the past, but still, she felt as if it had been just yesterday, and the incident was haunting her, hovering over her even if she thought she was over it. How could she? Everything she had thought and felt towards her own family and herself had turned completely upside down back then.
“I’m sorry, I should have seen the signs. I messed up,” Yuchan apologised after taking her silence as a bad sign, and seeing how he bit his lip, she felt the need to go against his words.
“And I was messed up, so what’s the difference?”
“No, no, you weren’t! Not at all. They probably just wanted to make you feel that way, but it wasn’t your fault,” he objected fervently, but there was a gentle edge to his words. The way his pitch-black eyes shone oh so fondly triggered an unusually emotional rush of adrenaline going through her body. It wasn’t your fault. Oh, how she wished anyone would have told the teenager Haerim the same! She had been merely tossed to the side, blamed for everything, called a liar, and abandoned. Sometimes actions were weapons, but sometimes words were bombs.
There was a moment of silence when she attempted to avoid his eyes, trying to put herself back together, and then he spoke up in a gentle, quiet voice:
“Why didn’t you tell someone else?” He looked up at her, the sea of his pitch-black eyes beckoning her to open up, to speak up because he would listen. Suddenly, he seemed so much more mature and defined than the once very much childish and irresponsible boy. Back then, she had brushed off his questions because she hadn’t thought that he would care or understand, but now, looking at him, she knew that he meant the best.
It wasn’t your fault.
“Because not even my own mother believed me. How was I supposed to know that I should have pushed this further? My friends betrayed me, the homeroom teacher and my parents didn’t believe me, and we were already close to the high school application period, so I just accepted it,” she explained dryly, her voice lacking any kind of hurt. Why? Because she was so afraid that if she were to show that she was any more vulnerable other than to say it out loud, she would crumble, and she wasn’t ready to take that fall.
So she masked her deepest hurt, the one that had been accompanying her ever since the bullying had come to light, and her parents had voiced out that they hadn’t believed her. That had been the first time in her life that she had doubted her own parents’ trust and love for her. Before, she would have never even dared to question her parents’ affection. After all, they had been the so-called perfect family with parents always showing up at parent-teacher meetings, her and her little sister studying and behaving well, entering competitions, and it had seemed that the children had been given everything: support, love, care and money.
She had also made her believe that; she had thought that if she had just kept on trying to get good grades and to avoid talking back to her parents, she would have been rewarded with the same kind of attention and love than her little sister. She had tried so hard, maybe even too hard at times, and she would have never said that she had had anything less than a perfect family because she had been afraid that if she had done so, she would have been even further from that fantasy that she had been chasing.
Because it had been all just a fantasy, an illusion at its finest, a sick little show that she had been a part of. She had gotten so good at playing the good little girl role that when no one had been there to congratulate her on her acting when she had been vulnerable and fragile for the first time, she had crumbled down.
“Not even your own parents believed you? Gosh, that’s terrible!” Yuchan raised his voice, his fury obvious in the way he pursed his lips. No more cheeky smiles, no more dimpled smiles. “Why didn’t your parents take this seriously though? Are they blind or something?”
Haerim knew that there was no use of denying. Even back then and now, Yuchan didn’t want anything bad for her. In fact, he was the first one to actually believe her since that accident, so it meant a lot to her that he was willing to listen. It was just so damn difficult to explain this, to bring back something that she had thought that she had been able to bury with the old Haerim. Those feelings, those memories, those scars should have been dead alongside the bullied side of hers.
“You know what? You don’t have to tell me. I’ve already asked a lot. It’s personal to you, and I don’t want to see you in pain. Just know that I’m willing to listen. Okay?” Yuchan offered hastily, his eyes darting between the different parts of the room to avoid looking at her. He was seemingly uncomfortable, a bit edgy as well, so she came to the conclusion that it was the best if they left the topic at that for now. She wasn’t ready to talk about it, and he felt bad for asking.
So she cleared her throat and diverted the topic to something else, slowly watching as the boy’s face became painted with more and more colours again, the remains of the previous serene expressions gone alongside the passing minutes, reminding them of the time and the fact that it was already getting dark outside. She was glad that they could end this conversation on a joyful note, but she didn’t fail to say this as they bid their goodbyes:
“Thank you, Yuchan,” she remarked sincerely, and the bittersweet smile she was gifted was worth more than any diamond in the world. Because it was genuine, because it was caring, and because it made her realise that there was someone who finally, finally believed her.
The boy merely nodded afterwards before playfully reminding her to reply to his messages, then he bolted off in the metro station’s direction, and she walked to the nearest bus station, her steps lighter than for a long time.
Haerim did reply to his messages with a lighter heart this time, and she found herself looking forward to his messages even if it was just about him talking about how he had spent an entire hour in the wrong lecture hall, listening to the wrong topic, or how he had managed to oversleep his morning alarm, waking up only by midday. Yuchan had always been the type of person to whom everything just happens, and it was almost heartwarming how things hadn’t seemed to change so much when it came to him.
However, there was one thing that was bothering her, and it was the fact whether he kept on talking to her because he wanted to make sure that she was really doing okay - or maybe even pitying her. She didn’t like jumping to conclusions, but he had come back into her life so abruptly, yet he had stayed in her life ever since, and she didn’t know what to do with it.
So she decided to ask about it the next time they met face-to-face, and even though it could be seen by the way Yuchan’s lips wavered that he hadn’t expected such a question, he also shook his head fervently.
“No, not at all. Why would I be pitying you? I trust that you tell me the truth, and you’ve said that you’re doing okay now, so it’s not why I want to spend time with you,” he explained very much confidently, but a spark of doubt was lit in his pitch-black eyes, almost like a shooting star on the sky. “Do I make you feel uncomfortable? Don’t you want to spend time with me?”
He pressed his lips into a thin line as the questions rolled off his tongue, and the serenity in his features almost scared her. It was such a different, unknown side of him that she was taken aback by the sudden change in his behaviour. On the other hand, she was almost thankful. He was more understanding than anyone she had ever met, gentle care radiating in every single one of his words and acts.
“No, that’s not about it. I feel comfortable around you, I really do.” She nodded to prove her point, searching for any kind of confirmation in his eyes that he believed her, and she was about to continue when his lips slowly blossomed into a smile, the kind that adds colours to an empty canvas.
“I’m glad then.”
Yuchan seemed almost bashful by this point, his ears turning burgundy. He ran his hands through his chocolate-brown locks swiftly, taking a huge sip from his hot chocolate, but almost choking on it. She immediately tried to assist him, but he seemed to get over it before she could walk up to him or order a glass of water.
“It’s okay, it happens all the time,” he remarked with a giggle, holding up his hands as if he was trying to wave away every single one of her worries regarding the situation.
“You haven’t changed a bit, have you? It seems like you always get yourself into such situations,” Haerim pointed it out with an almost nostalgic smile, thinking back to that boy with the widest smile, the biggest energy and the cutest rounded glasses.
Even though she was never fond of her middle school years for apparent reasons, Yuchan had always lived in her memory as the sunshine after the rainstorm. There had been just something about him, about that eccentric side of him, about those joyous glints in his galaxy-like orbs, about that happiness-inducing laughter of his that had made it impossible not to remember him as someone positive.
“At least, I can make you smile,” Yuchan mentioned with a gentle smile. “I mean, not now, of course, not when I’ve worried you,” he corrected himself with a semi-awkward laugh, and she couldn’t help but laugh along with him. He really had that homey feel to him; that cosy, warm feeling that you get when you walk inside a room with the heaters on after walking through the city on a chilly winter day. “But you know, in general,” he added, and she silently nodded to his words, no need to deny the smile that was playing along her lips.
They exchanged a glance, and Haerim felt the rush of warmth radiated by him going through her body. It was easy to be drawn to him because he was so bright and so full of life, and maybe, she doubted why he had continued to talk to her because she knew that she wasn’t as radiant as him. Yet, the way he looked at her now stomped on her worries, calming her thoughts.
“Oh, right! I have a place I want to show you!” Yuchan suddenly mentioned, letting the previous severe moment fall into a more casual one. She quirked an eyebrow in question, curious.
“Oh, okay. Do you want to go today?”
“Yeah, I mean, we can go if you don’t mind. It’s not far from here,” he replied with a bright, expectant smile playing along the edges of his lips. He was a bit uncertain - both his body language and the slight crack of his voice were indicators of that -, and she wondered what was the reason behind it; could it have been that he assumed that she was just like how she had been when she had turned down his suggestions to hang out when they had been middle schoolers? Or could it be because he could see the change in her personality, the change in the way she acted towards her, yet he still couldn’t pinpoint what she would say?
The truth is, she wasn’t one to say yes to such invitations, but the truth is, it had been a long time since someone had even mentioned something like this. She had always been more of the loner type, and ever since the bullying incidents, she had found it more difficult to make friends and trust others. She might have gotten over the trauma, but she still couldn’t help wondering about others’ perception of her.
On the other hand, she knew him, she knew his past, and he knew her past as well, yet he was still here, his legs shaking a bit under the table, his eyes curiously looking into hers, and he was the one to suggest showing her a place. She might not fall this time, but if she did, she trusted him that he would catch her.
“Sure, we can go,” Haerim gave in, her lips raised upwards.
“For real?”
“Yeah, for real,” she repeated, warmth spreading in her heart seeing the boy’s incredibly wide smile, one that was so like him, one that was only his, and despite her not having any particular adjectives about it in the past, she could definitely see just how beautiful of a smile it was.
After they finished their drinks, they headed outside and Yuchan showed her the way to the place he had in mind; it took them around 20 minutes to get there with the metro, and even though it was really not far, Haerim had never been in the neighbourhood before. The boy walked confidently, casually telling her stories on the way, and once they reached a little secluded area which was on the edge of this part of the city - which was on the top of a hill that was built with houses all around -, she knew that they arrived without him telling her beforehand.
There were a few benches around, a boy occupying one of it as he was towering over his sketchbook, drawing absentmindedly, but what was the most eye catching was the scenery; from up here, the city could be seen a bit better, it was as if they could look above what was happening. Everything seemed a bit more clear, they didn’t feel so small and insignificant. City lights flashed in front of their eyes, cars honking and the buzzing sounds of the busy streets seemed distant from up here, and the whole sight seemed like an oddly shaped jigsaw made up of all kinds of colours and shapes.
Yuchan was quiet for a few seconds, and maybe it was his silence or the whole atmosphere with the pretty scenery and the slight breeze playing with her locks, but she found herself speaking up:
“I have a little sister, and around the time the bullying escalated, she got surgery, and she kind of got the spotlight for that. It wasn’t a life-threatening issue, she’s on meds now, so she’s fine. I would have been fine with it too because I knew how scared she was, but when I decided to speak up about what happened to me, my parents told me that it’s not that big of a deal. Then, when Eunbyeol’s parents contacted my own parents, they said that I should have behaved better, that I shouldn’t have caused them more trouble when my sister was sick,” she confessed, the bitterness biting into her tongue.
She gulped as she averted her eyes from the scenery to the boy’s face, but all she could see was empathy and care. He believed her, he wanted to listen to her, and he saw her - getting through all the layers, with all the masks forgotten, in all the colours from black to white. That’s what prompted her to explain in detail what had happened. How Eunbyeol and Haerim had been friends until Eunbyeol had started bullying her, making her run errands and making fun of her, and how even her best friend at that time had lied to Haerim’s parents because Eunbyeol had persuaded her that she would have been better without a girl like Haerim. Obviously, Eunbyeol had been pretty, wealthy and popular, and all Haerim could have been known for had been her intelligence, nothing more. It had been almost easy to get the other girl on her side, especially because Haerim hadn’t wanted to put up with the bullying.
It had all become too much when Eunbyeol and another girl had poured water onto her chair one day, and since Haerim couldn’t have seen it because of its transparent colour, she had sat right into it - in her blue jeans, the water soaking the material until her thighs. When she had turned her head towards the two girls, asking if they had done it, they had merely laughed at her, then continued laughing at her as she had grabbed her PE sweatpants and ran to the girls’ bathroom, mocking her for the sight. Teachers and students had turned their heads towards her, thinking that her jeans looked like that for another reason, but she couldn’t have cared less. She had been crying in the girls’ bathroom as she had changed into the pants, and since it had been winter and by the end of the day, she had needed to go back home in her sweatpants, freezing as she had walked all the way home.
She had told her mother about it right that day, and that’s when her mother had told her that it hadn’t been a big problem, she should have just put up with it. But the truth is, it had been just the tip of the iceberg, the humiliation and the mockery that had led up to it had been even worse, but of course, if something physical hadn’t been enough for her mother, then something emotional could have ever been enough? She had never been enough of a reason for her parents to worry about her, not when she hadn’t been the favourite child, not when even her best friend had turned against her.
“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. You must have felt like no one was on your side,” Yuchan said in awe, shocked and worried at the same time. Haerim shook her head, it hadn’t been his fault that he hadn’t been there when the water incident had happened, and that he hadn’t seen what had been going on. Eunbyeol and her friends had been sneaky enough not to act up when teachers or the whole class had been around, except that day. Still, it hadn’t been enough even for the homeroom teacher to do anything. To - at least - take it seriously.
“It’s okay now. The memories and the feelings lingered on, and I’ve eventually started to receive counselling when I got more and more panic attacks in high school, and although my parents still never took this issue seriously, I’ve learned how to deal with it,” Haerim remarked with a bittersweet smile, glad that she had realised that sometimes you can’t rely on the people you wish to rely on.
It seemed like Yuchan was so struck that he didn’t even have the right words to say, his lips were quivering but not moving otherwise. Haerim let him process what he had heard, not wanting to force him to remark anything, letting him put together the pieces of the past. Yes, she had been shy, but not solely because of her personality. She had been closed-off because of the constant mistreatment and bullying, always just putting up with it until she couldn’t have taken it anymore. She wouldn’t blame him though; she had mastered how to act like everything had been fine.
“Wow, you are so strong!” Yuchan concluded genuinely, yet she felt her smile dropping, sentimentalism rushing through her body. Sometimes only a few words were able to trigger her knees to go weak, but when he looked at her like that with that amount of empathy and appreciation in his eyes as he did, she really found it difficult not to let him in her heart. She might have been too broken back then to let anyone in, let alone a boy who had seemed too different from her, someone who had openly expressed his liking towards her when she hadn’t felt anything towards him. Yet, now, she wished nothing more than to keep his warmth close to her.
“What? Did I say something wrong?” The boy immediately picked up on the change in her expression, but she merely shook her head. If he had known just how right what he said was. The best thing he could have said.
“No one has ever told me this,” she reasoned, her voice cracking a bit by the emotions that were taking hold of her. Yuchan’s lips quivered yet again as he looked at her, and despite the initial hesitation in his movements, he stepped closer to her a few seconds later, wrapping his arms around her body, and Haerim didn’t even protest. She knew she was safe, she knew she was valued, and she knew that she was accepted. For who she was and for who she had been. She wasn’t afraid to face that, to face him, not anymore.
Because we can only let the light in when we dare to open the curtains, and we can only see the stars when it’s dark; light isn’t light without darkness being around.

Genre: angst, fluff, SMUT
Pairing: Jun x Reader / Chan x Reader
Word Count: 7.3k
Summary: You love them both and you’re torn. But…what if you didn’t have to choose? Jun was scrolling through hotel listings on Jeju Island. He’d decided to surprise you with a trip to Jeju Island. What better way to prove himself to you than to spoil you a little bit? As the holidays came and went, February was here before he knew it. It was the perfect time to go on a trip. And he knew that you could use a little rest and relaxation.
Jun bought two plane tickets that night, as the prices went down a bit. He was excited to spend some time away and alone with you. You’d forgiven him but he knew that he was still sort of on your shit list. If something else went wrong, he wasn’t sure what you’d do. After all the two of you had been through with Malai and the arguing with Chan and all, things had been a little rocky.
He’d spend the next couple of days planning the trip, deciding some fun things to do while you were there. He wanted things to be perfect and he had all these ideas. He wanted to take you to see all the sites—the waterfalls, the beaches, all the beautiful things nature had to offer. You’d forget about all the stress of being at home and just enjoy the vacation with him.
As he scrolled through hotel listings, you called him. “Hello?”
“Hey, babe,” you said. “What are you doing?”
“I’m just on the computer browsing. You?”
“I just got out of the shower...”
“Oh really? What are you wearing?”
“Nothing,” you said. “Wanna see?”
He smirked. “I can’t say no to that.” A moment later, he got a notification on his phone that you’d sent him a photo. You were nude, laying on your towel. You took the picture in the mirror above your dresser, across from your bed. “Wow. You look amazing, baby. I can’t wait to get my hands on you…”
He spent almost an hour on the phone with you and in that time, he found the perfect hotel. It wasn’t a huge suite like he would’ve wanted but it had a king sized bed, a loveseat, desk, and a huge flat screen tv. Not to mention the beautiful view. And even though it wasn’t summertime, it had a really nice pool outside. Luckily though, there was an indoor pool and a spa that you could take advantage of. He’d definitely book a couples’ massage with you, so you could both get all those knots of tension out of your systems.
Jun was getting excited just thinking of all the fun you could have together. Lately, there hadn’t been much to look forward to so this trip was just what he needed. He was pumped to spend some time with you and get you all to himself. It had been a long time since he’d been on vacation and you hadn’t been on one either. So, he was more than happy to solve that problem.
*
As Jun went up the train station escalator, he could hardly contain his excitement. Everyone had a long weekend due to the Korean New Year. Jun was glad because he planned to tell you the surprise today. The two of you had planned to have dinner together tonight and it gave him the perfect opportunity to tell you about his surprise.
You were waiting for him in the lobby of the building you worked in when he walked in. He figured that you must’ve gotten off a little early. As he walked toward you, you didn’t see him. He smiled at the sight of you in the lounge chair, smiling at whatever you were looking at on your phone.
“Hi beautiful,” he said, taking you by surprise. “Did you get out a little early?”
You smiled, grabbing your bag and standing up to greet him. “Hey babe. Yeah, honestly everyone was ready to have a head start to this weekend. Everyone practically ran out of the office once our boss said we could leave.”
He kissed you on your forehead. “Nice.”
The two of you walked out of the building together, starting toward the restaurant that you wanted to go to nearby. On the walk there, you told him about your day and how the restaurant had really good steak and that it comes out perfect every time. He loved how animated you got when you spoke and how your eyes lit up with excitement.
You arrived at the restaurant a few minutes later and were seated right away. It was more crowded than it would usually be on a Thursday evening because it was more like a Friday evening since everyone would be off of work tomorrow.
“I come here with my coworkers sometimes for their lunch special,” you said, flipping through the menu.
Your order was taken and you had your drinks within five minutes. Over the red wine, Jun said, “I have a surprise for you, babe.”
Your eyes lit up again, turning from your drink. “What is it?”
“We’re going to Jeju tomorrow morning,” he said. “I wanted to take you on a trip since we have off.”
“Wow,” you said, smiling even wider, “that sounds amazing. Are you serious?”
“Believe it, baby,” he said, reaching for your hand.
You looked down at the table for a few seconds before you said, “I have an idea, but it’s kind of crazy.”
“How crazy?”
“Well do you think that we could ever spend time together? Like the three of us?”
Jun nodded. “Well, yeah.”
“Well, what if he came with us?”
“Tomorrow?”
“Yeah,” you said. You cleared your throat. “I mean, we can wait another time if you want, of course...but I just wanted to put the idea out there. It could be good for us.”
To be honest, Jun wanted this trip to just be for the two of you, without Chan tagging along. The last thing he wanted was for you to think he had a problem with this arrangement or that he was being greedy. Even though he didn’t want to, he said, “Yeah, that’s fine with me,” because he didn’t want you to be disappointed. The reality was that his reply was the furthest thing from the truth.
And it brought a smile to your face. “I’ll be right back. I’m gonna give him a call and see if he can still get a flight. Can you forward me the flight info?”
He pursed his lips together as he went into his email and forwarded the flight itinerary to you. With a quick “Thanks, babe,” you were gone. You went into the hallway outside of the bathrooms and took out your phone.
“Hello?” Chan answered.
“Hey,” you said, “I have good news and bad news.”
“Okay, what’s the bad news?”
“I don’t think we’re going to be able to have our sleepover this weekend…”
“Why not?”
“I’m going to Jeju with Jun this weekend and I wanted to know if you wanted to...come with us.”
Chan paused for a moment; you didn’t blame him. The three of you had been through a lot in this relationship and you wondered if it was too soon to be together like this. Finally, he said, “That sounds like fun...”
“Do you really think you two can be in the same room together...with me?”
“I don’t see why not. I mean, it’s bound to happen eventually, right?”
You gave him the flight number and, thankfully, he was able to book the flight. And from the looks of it, he was a couple rows behind where you and Jun would be sitting.
“I’m all booked,” he said, after checking and re-checking the reservation. He chuckled. “I should get packing.”
*
Chan heard a knock at the door, interrupting him from his packing. It was Jason, who had arrived with a box of pizza. He sighed and went back over to his luggage. Confused, Jason sat down on the floor, putting the pizza on the table.
“What’s with you?” he said. He pointed to the luggage. “Are you going somewhere?”
“To Jeju,” Chan replied.
“Ooh that sounds like fun. I wish I was going somewhere. My family is right here in Seoul so there’s not really anywhere to go.”
“There’s only but so much fun I can have,” he said, rolling his eyes, as he threw socks into his suitcase. “Jun booked a trip for them this weekend and Y/N invited me along but it feels like it was more pity than anything else…”
Jason cursed under his breath as he opened the pizza box. “Maybe he wants to make peace. Maybe this is him putting his foot forward and trying to make things better.”
“On my weekend? The bastard had the nerve to book this trip when I was supposed to spend the weekend with Y/N! He would do something like this! He had her to himself last week!”
He kicked the suitcase out of frustration, startling his friend. Just when things seemed like they were looking up, Jun just had to do something to sabotage what they had.
“Well, Y/N will be there. She won’t let him get carried away.”
Chan sighed and sat down, grabbing a slice of pizza. “I don’t know, maybe I should’ve thought this over more. It feels like I’m third wheeling with my own girlfriend.”
Chan loved the idea of going on a trip with you. Since he was always busy with work and school, he rarely had enough time for the two of you to have a weekend getaway. But, for once, he was free all weekend and the cafe was closed for the holiday. And even better, his boss still paid him for the days he had off. He’d dubbed it a “New Year’s gift.” For once, things had been aligned so perfectly that it was hard to believe. And he planned on spending it with you since it was, in fact, his weekend to spend with you.
But now the plans had been rearranged. You called him asking if he wanted to go and he didn’t want to disappoint you, so he agreed to the plan before thinking it through. Would it be a good time? He was struggling to trust Jun in the first place; he wouldn’t be able to keep his cool if he hurt you again. On the other hand, it was something that would have to happen sooner or later. In this polyamorous relationship, the three of you would eventually have to come together sometime. It couldn’t always be separate relationships that were somehow still one.
“Is she usually fair though? Does it seem like she favors him over you?”
“I’m not sure,” he said, mouth full. He swallowed and added, “I just gotta make it until Sunday. That shouldn’t be too hard, right?”
Chan sure as hell hoped so.
*
The three of you arrived at the airport a little sooner than expected. You checked in your bags and went through security with no issues. You arrived at the designated gate with an hour to spare. Chan sat down, leaning against his neck pillow. He looked tired; he’d mentioned how he stayed up a bit late trying to finish one of his assignments so that he wouldn’t have to stress about it on Sunday before classes started back up again on Monday.
You went to the bathroom briefly and, when you came back, Chan was fast asleep. You smiled at the sight of him and the fact that his mouth was slightly ajar.
Jun chuckled and said, “He passed out right away. Do you wanna get something to eat since we have time?”
You nodded and went to shake Chan. “Babe, do you want to eat?” Chan opened his eyes ever so slightly before groaning and turning his head away from you.
Jun said, “Just leave him. He’s pretty tired, isn’t he? We can just get a sandwich for him or something.” You nodded, figuring that you should probably let him catch up on his sleep. It was early and you’d get to Jeju a little after one o’clock. If the three of you were going to do anything fun, he’d need to save his energy.
As you walked to the toast stall you passed earlier, you said, “So what did you have planned for us?”
“Well, I was thinking today since we’re getting there a little later, we could take it easy and explore the city a little. There was a teahouse I wanted to visit. Then we can relax a little and get dinner together. How does that sound?”
“It sounds good...and thank you for planning all of this.”
“Anything for you,” he said.
You arrived at the toast stall and ordered toast for the three of you. Jun was surprised that you knew exactly what he would want and Chan, too. He loved that about you—you paid close attention to details. Even when he thought you weren’t listening or paying attention, you were. He loved you so much and he wished that this trip could be for just the two of you, but he also remembered that he signed up for this. He was the one that agreed to this and, while he had the right to change his mind, he didn’t want to lose you. He figured that this was better than nothing and he wanted to keep you in his life in whatever way he could.
When you got back to the gate, Chan was awake and playing a game on his phone. He smiled upon seeing you walking toward him.
“We got breakfast,” you said, handing him his bag. “Toast with extra egg.”
He smiled. “You’re amazing, you know that...”
“I would’ve ordered you extra egg, too,” mumbled Jun as he sat down in his seat next to you.
The three of you just laughed. You were grateful. Maybe things were looking up for the relationship. There wasn’t as much tension between Jun and Chan today. You didn’t know if it was because they’d both matured a lot within the last couple weeks or if it was just because it was early in the morning. Either way, you were grateful and you hoped that the rest of the trip would go this smoothly.
Before you knew it, it was time to board. As the three of you inched along in the aisle, Jun turned to you and said, “Okay. Row twenty-one is right there.”
You said, “Why don’t you and Chan sit together? You could get to know each other a little better. I don’t mind sitting by myself. I can just sit where Chan was going to sit.”
Jun started, “B-”
Chan smiled. “Yeah, we should get to know each other better.”
Jun wasn’t thrilled to be sitting next to Chan on the flight but thankfully it was only for about an hour. But over the course of the hour, things weren’t bad. There would probably always be at least a little tension between the two of them, since the relationship started out in a strange way. But things were actually okay.
Chan carried the conversation, at first. He asked Jun about the kinds of music he liked and then they talked about their families and some childhood memories and Chan told him about his life growing up in Jeju on a tangerine farm. Jun was almost surprised at how down to earth he was. He wasn’t snobby or any of the things that he’d assumed about him. He almost felt bad for thinking those things about him. The reality was that Chan was a good guy and he could see why you liked him in the first place.
Chan said, “I told my mom that I was coming for the weekend. I was thinking that maybe tomorrow, if we have time, we could have dinner with my family.”
Jun nodded. “By chance, do they know...about us?”
Chan paused. To be honest, he’d only told his friends about the true relationship they were in. Of course, he’d told his parents that you were back together with him but he hadn’t told them that you were also dating Jun. How could he tell his parents something like that? They definitely wouldn’t approve and he had no idea how complicated it would be for them to understand something that was so complicated in itself.
“Not exactly,” he answered.
Jun knew what that meant before Chan needed to explain further. Jun knew that he wouldn’t be able to go to have dinner with Chan’s family as your boyfriend. In this situation, Chan would be your boyfriend and Jun would be stuck playing the role of a friend, whether it was your friend or Chan’s. Either way, it was like playing pretend.
Jun had no right to feel upset by it because he was in the same predicament with his own family. They knew that you’d hit a rough patch and got back together, but they had no idea that you’d picked up an additional partner on the way back to each other. He hadn’t even told his older sister despite the fact that they were pretty close.
Was this something to be ashamed of? Would this be something that could ever be accepted? Even though no one was exactly lying, there was a lot of information being withheld. Jun had no idea how the three of you could keep this up. For how much longer, realistically, could you keep it up?
*
You pushed open the hotel room door, exhausted from the walk you’d gone on. You got to see the surrounding areas near your hotel and went to the teahouse that Jun wanted to go to, trying and even buying some of the teas. And Chan showed you some of the places he liked to go as a kid. And you had some street foods and tried fresh grilled mackerel, which Jun enjoyed so much he got seconds. It had been a while since Chan had been able to come to Jeju and he had never gone with you before; you had broken up with him before he had the chance to bring you to his hometown. You watched him as his eyes lit up, picking up memories from his childhood.
So far, you liked Jeju a lot and the scenery was so beautiful and you got a lot of pictures. From what you could tell, Jun had a good time too. And he took a bunch of pictures with his new camera. And your boyfriends were also cordial in taking separate pictures with you, too. And then you asked a kind stranger to take pictures of the three of you, together.
“I’m exhausted,” Jun said, plopping down on the couch.
“That was fun,” you said, putting down your purse. “Thanks for showing us around, Chan.”
“Of course,” he said.
“I made a reservation at the steakhouse for seven. We have about two and a half hours until then,” he said.
You nodded. “Yeah, we can just hang out around here for a while.”
Chan said, “I could use a warm cup of tea,” poking around the kitchenette. There were two packets of instant coffee and two tea bags, clearly not enough for the three of you. “Actually, I’ll go to the cafe downstairs. Y/N? Jun? Do you want something?”
Jun said, “Can you get me a matcha latte?”
You said, “Me too.”
Chan nodded and grabbed a key card. “Be back in a couple minutes.”
As Jun heard the door shut, he was relieved. Finally, he’d have a moment alone with you. You smiled before he had a chance to say anything and you sat next to him on the couch before he had a chance to call you over. He sat up, pulling you into his arms. You snuggled into his shoulder. You said, “Thank you for planning this trip. I can’t wait to get cute for dinner.”
“You always look cute, my love. Which dress did you bring?”
“I got this long sleeved black one,” you said. “I’d gotten it awhile ago but didn’t have a chance to wear it.”
“I’m sure you’ll look great,” he said, planting a kiss on your lips.
You stood up. “I’m gonna go to the bathroom…”
A few minutes later, Chan returned with the drinks. Jun was fast asleep on the couch, his legs sprawled out and his mouth slightly open. He heard water running in the bathroom and assumed that you were in there. He set Jun’s drink on the coffee table next to the couch, assuming he’d probably wake up in a few minutes.
When you came out, Chan was sitting on the bed sipping on his tea. You sat next to him and he handed you your drink. “Thanks, baby.”
“No problem. Jun must be really tired, huh?”
You rested your head on Chan’s shoulder with a yawn. “Yeah. The first day of vacation always seems to be the hardest.” You glanced up at him. “Are you okay?”
He looked down at you, meeting your eyes. “Of course. I’m here with you.”
*
Jun’s eyes fluttered open about a half hour later. The room was darker than he remembered and as he glanced over to the window. The setting sun peeked through, shining on you and Chan asleep in the bed together. His heart dropped at the sight and jealousy pumped through his veins.
He looked at the matcha latte, grabbing it and taking a sip. He was so annoyed he didn’t know what to do. What he really wanted to do was go over there, drag Chan out of the bed and possibly punch him in his stupid face. But this was his own fault. He had opened the door that allowed him to come on this trip with you anyway. He should’ve put his foot down when he had the chance. He’d just wanted the trip to be for the two of you and he didn’t have a problem with Chan doing the same in the future.
Was this selfish of him? Was this something he’d have to deal with for the duration of this relationship? Would the pangs of jealousy and frustration go away?
Matcha latte in hand, he decided to take a walk so that he could calm down a little. He knew that his anger and frustration would only boil over and spill into the relationship. The last thing he wanted was to upset you and especially not on a trip that was supposed to be relaxing for everyone. Although Jun felt anything but relaxed so far.
He went outside and started walking around aimlessly, no clear destination in sight. He just needed some air. He needed some time to himself, just to take a few deep breaths.
Eventually, he started feeling more and more anxious as he walked back toward the hotel a few minutes later. His mind raced with irrational thoughts of the two of you in bed together. What if you were having sex right now, making a mess on the bed that the three of you were supposed to share tonight.
He took out his phone, hoping that Taesik was free to talk for a few minutes. The phone rang four times before he answered. “Hello?”
“Hey, how’s day one of vacation?”
“He’s all over her! How am I third wheeling on a trip that I planned?”
“Who are you more upset at, Jun?”
Jun sucked his teeth. He didn’t need his friend on the other end of the phone call being reasonable. He let out a sigh. “I don’t know...I just know that they fell asleep in the bed and her head is on his shoulder and he’s holding her hand.”
“I dunno what to say,” said Taesik. “Maybe this was a bad idea…”
Deep down, Jun knew that the three of you had issues that you hadn’t resolved. Jun knew there were issues but he couldn’t pinpoint the exact problems. He wasn’t a professional and neither were you or Chan. The three of you were just struggling through the whole thing. Should you invest in couples’ counseling? Was this normal? Jun hated this concept; he had no idea what was right and what was wrong. Was it normal to feel jealousy in a polyamorous relationship?
“Yeah,” he said, “maybe we’re not ready for this…” He heard the phone beep on the other end. Pulling his phone away from his ear, he saw that you were calling him. “She’s calling me…”
“Answer her,” said Taesik. “Call me if you need to vent. I hope everything goes okay tonight.”
“Thanks,” he replied. “Talk to you later.”
He clicked over to the other line, answering your call. “Baby, where’d you go?”
“I just got bored and came outside to watch the sunset,” he lied.
“Come back,” you said. “We should start getting ready. Chan is still asleep, so I’ll shower first.”
Jun said, “Okay, I’ll see you in a minute,” and the call was over. He headed upstairs to the hotel room, bracing himself and taking deep breaths to calm himself down. There was no reason for him to be angry. He had agreed to this arrangement, after all. He was in a relationship with you but so was Chan. And they needed to find a way to deal with it all.
When he got back, he heard the sink water running. Glancing over at the bed, he saw Chan was still asleep. He knocked on the door and you opened it, still dressed. You hadn’t gotten in the shower yet; he caught you just as you were washing your face. Finally, even if it was in the bathroom, he could have a moment alone with you. He stood behind you as you pat your face dry with the towel.
“How was your walk?”
Jun nodded, wrapping his hands around your waist. “It was good. I’m better now that I’m back here with you,” he said, kissing your neck. “Mind if I join you in the shower?”
You raised your eyebrows at the suggestion and it also made you excited. “Yeah, why not?”
Jun watched as you peeled your clothes off slowly, teasing him. He’d be lying if he said his dick wasn’t throbbing in his pants at the sight of you. Taking off his own clothes, he never took his eyes off of you. And when you were completely bare before him, he pulled you closer to him and kissed you, hard. Your tongue found his, your naked bodies pressed together against the glass of the shower door.
“I love you,” Jun mumbled against your lips.
“I love you, too,” you answered, planting one last kiss on his lips. You followed Jun into the shower and you didn’t hesitate to start washing him up first. You took care to be gentle with him, turning him on. His lips parted as you massaged his balls and he let out a groan as your hand went up and down his shaft. Now, he was completely hard and his dick was throbbing with desire to bend you over and pound your pussy until you were screaming for more.
He cursed under his breath as he got under the water and you helped him rinse the soap off of his body. He kissed you again and, as he did, he reached down to your clit. It caught you by surprise, making you gasp. He rubbed it harder and your lips parted with a moan.
“Quiet, baby,” he whispered. “You don’t want to wake Chan up, do you?” He spun you around so that you were facing away from him, reaching down to rub your clit from the front. With his left hand he covered your mouth and with his right, he rubbed your clit. Jun enjoyed fucking around in the shower, even on a regular day. He loved seeing your wet body and how your pussy would end up like a river, your wetness flowing out and onto his fingers.
He kept going and you squeezed your legs together as if you were trying to escape. Jun chuckled. “Don’t you want to come, baby?” With that, you parted your legs again, letting the pleasure take over. He felt the vibrations of your moans on his palm, but he held it there anyway. It turned him on to feel you struggling. He took your clit between his thumb and pointer finger, giving it a few light squeezes that drove you crazy. After, he dragged his fingers down your slit. Already, you were so wet. And he knew that it didn’t take you long to come like this.
He could feel you struggling, against his fingers. Your body was starting to twitch and he knew you were dangerously close to your orgasm.
“Come for me, Y/N,” Jun whispered in your ear.
Hearing his voice in your ear is what did it for you. You couldn’t take it anymore. You let go, trembling, shivering, and coming all over his fingers. And once you came down from your high, he kissed you once more.
*
“Are you almost ready to go?” Chan asked. His stomach was growling and you’d been prancing around the hotel room in your bra and underwear, scrambling to finish getting ready for the past ten minutes.
“I’m sorry,” you said, stepping into your dress. “My makeup didn’t come out like I expected...Can you zip me?” Chan nodded as you walked over toward him. He zipped you up quickly, hoping that this was the last thing you had to do before the three of you headed to dinner. Thankfully Jun had pushed the reservation to 7:45 rather than 7:30 because of the chance you might be late.
“Okay, I’m ready,” you said, placing your hands on Jun’s shoulders as he sat on the couch.
“Okay,” Jun said. “Let’s call a cab.”
Within fifteen minutes you arrived at the restaurant. Luckily, it wasn’t too far away from the hotel. Jun had chosen a nice restaurant because he wanted to treat you to a special dinner. Of course, he had to change the reservation to three people instead. And he’d be sharing dinner with not only you but with Chan too.
You entered the restaurant and your party was seated right away, in a booth. Thankfully it was one of those curved ones so that you didn’t have to choose who to sit next to or for the three of you to squeeze on one side. You sat in the middle, with a boyfriend at either side of you.
“This place is pretty nice,” said Jun, taking off his coat. “I know you don’t like restaurants that are too fancy, so this is a good in between.”
“Yeah,” you said. “This is perfect. I’m paying, by the way.”
“No,” Chan said. “You shouldn’t be the one to pay. I should pay, since there was this last minute change.”
Jun rolled his eyes when no one was looking. Jun had planned on paying and here Chan was being a goody-two shoes. He found himself becoming annoyed, even though he had been trying so hard not to act like this. While you were getting dressed earlier, he tried to push down feelings of jealousy as you walked back and forth from your suitcase to the bathroom half dressed. He tried not to feel jealous because obviously both he and Chan had seen you naked and both he and Chan had sex with you; everything was just separate.
Jun tried to push down those feelings of jealousy as he looked at the menu for the next few minutes. The waiter came and took everyone’s order. He said, “Wine, anyone?”
“Sure,” Jun answered. “What wines go well with steak?”
Jun was definitely going to need some alcohol in his system if he was going to get through the night without losing his cool. He didn’t mind Chan, in general, but he’d like him much better if he was back in Seoul instead of here with them.
For the most part, dinner went smoothly. The three of you had some pretty good conversation. Things between Jun and Chan weren’t explosive; neither men took petty jabs at each other and the three of you were able to laugh together. If anything, they were the ones poking fun at you, revealing a few of your embarrassing moments.
Jun chuckled. “Oh my god, did Y/N ever tell you about the first time she got blackout drunk?”
“No,” Chan said, “what happened?”
Jun cleared his throat. “She was at the karaoke bar getting drinks with Na-Ri and their other friends and she asked me to come get her. So, I get there and order more drinks. Next thing I know, we’re leaving and she fell into some garbage bags outside the bar. And when I got her back up again, she fell back down into them.”
As the guys started laughing again, you said, “Stop! That was so embarrassing. Everyone stopped to look and you know what the worst part of it was? There were police officers on duty and they walked by and they laughed! They fucking laughed at me! Can you believe that?”
And both Jun and Chan erupted into laughter. Jun picked up his wine glass, finishing what was left. He’d been the one to finish most of the wine, leaving little for you and Chan. He said, “Oh, did I finish most of it? Should I order another?”
You put your finger on your chin. “Actually...we should go out after this.”
Chan looked up, chewing on a piece of steak. “Where to?”
“I saw some bars a few doors down. Why don’t we check it out?”
In an ideal world, Chan wouldn’t be here. In an ideal world, it’d just be you and Jun. And in an ideal world Jun would go out with you to the bars knowing that he’d be taking you back to the hotel so that you could make love all night and fall asleep in each others’ arms. But that couldn’t happen tonight and it was frustrating. It’s not that his main goal was to have sex with you but having the option taken from him sucked. He just wanted some privacy and alone time with his girlfriend. But with Chan here, it was impossible and he’d just have to make the best of it. His goal was just for you to be happy and to enjoy yourself.
*
This lounge had a chill vibe. It was a little more upscale than the others in the area but, surprisingly, it wasn’t too crowded considering it was a Friday night. The three of you sat in a booth, complete with velvet couches and a menu perfectly aligned in the center of the table. You picked up the menu, wondering what their drinks were like.
“What are you thinking of getting babe?” asked Chan, looking at the menu with you.
Jun rolled his eyes. “I’m gonna go to the bathroom.”
You nodded. “Want me to order you something?”
As Jun slid out of the booth, he said, “Yeah. You know what I like.” And with a wink, he was gone. Within five minutes, the drinks were ordered and Jun had come back to the table looking a little stressed out. You noticed because you knew him. There was something bothering him and you were just noticing. You felt a little guilty for not noticing sooner that is, if he’d been feeling stressed out earlier.
As the waiter placed your drinks on the table, you turned to Jun. “You okay?”
He gave you a nod as you slid him his drink. “Of course.”
A few sips into their drinks, you turned to Chan. “So did you talk to your mom?”
Chan nodded. “Yeah. I told her that I’m here and that I’m staying until Monday since I don’t have class.”
“I want to see her,” you said. “It’s been awhile.”
Chan cleared his throat. “I know. I thought about it and I’m not sure it’s a good idea if the three of us are together…It’s kind of complicated since they don’t know about Jun...”
You pouted, the realization setting in. “Oh…okay. I guess you’re right...”
Chan knew you were disappointed because you hadn’t seen his parents in awhile. He knew they’d be happy to see you and vice versa. Chan looked over at Jun, who seemed more concerned with his drink than the conversation the three of you were supposed to be having right now. Chan was annoyed. He was trying to be considerate of Jun’s feelings, since he was the one who brought up that their families don’t know the nature of the relationship they were in. He was the one who brought it up in the first place and he wasn’t even paying attention. And even worse, Chan was the only one who seemed to notice. Of course, he had no problem with bringing his girlfriend to meet his parents. But he didn’t want to make Jun uncomfortable.
“Jun,” called Chan.
Jun looked up from his drink. “Hm?”
“Y/N seems to really wanna meet my parents. Do you think we could maybe meet them at a restaurant? That way we won’t have to stay for too long…”
Jun wasn’t happy about it. If he was being honest, he wanted to suggest that he take her to dinner and for him to stay at the hotel. He didn’t want to meet Chan’s family as a friend. This wasn’t how things were supposed to be and it wasn’t fair that he had to suffer on his own vacation.
“Yeah,” he said softly. “I guess that wouldn’t hurt.” He grit his teeth and tried to convince himself that this was normal. He knew that, at the end of the day, it would be the same if the roles were reversed. If it was Jun’s family here, the scenario would be the same. Chan wouldn’t be able to come in as your boyfriend either.
But you were smiling. You were happy and Jun supposed that that was more important.
“Okay,” said Chan. “I’ll call them in the morning.”
You turned, looking toward the dance floor. It was mostly empty; You saw one group dancing together. There was hip hop music playing and it was one of your favorite songs. Your body wanted to move. “Let’s dance.” As you scooted off of your seat, you looked at Jun expectantly.
“I’ll join in a minute. I’m just gonna finish this,” he said, pointing to the rest of his drink. In all honesty, Jun was frustrated. To be honest, he didn’t want to be here and he certainly wasn’t in the mood to dance. He watched you dance with Chan and you weren’t even dancing with him in a sexual or suggestive way. You weren’t grinding on him or anything like that but he still felt jealousy coursing through his veins. These feelings seemed unreasonable. Jun had been in this arrangement with you for a couple months now. He knew how things were supposed to be. So why was it that he still felt this ridiculous jealousy, still? Why was it that he couldn’t accept this relationship with you and with Chan?
With a sigh, he finished your drink in one gulp. But he needed more, especially to deal with the feelings and doubts that crossed his mind. He walked over to the bar, taking a seat at the bar.
“What can I get for you?” asked the female bartender.
“Something strong,” he replied. “How about whiskey? On the rocks.”
She smiled and a moment or two later, returned with his drink. A few sips in, he felt a tap on his shoulder. Jun turned and was faced with the person that he wanted to see the least. The alcohol was starting to hit him now and he was beginning to care less and less. He rolled his eyes and he didn’t care if Chan saw him. And Chan did see but decided to be the bigger person and brush it off.
What pissed him off is that Chan approached him with raised, concerned eyebrows. Glancing back over to the dance floor and table, you were nowhere in sight. He assumed that you must’ve gone to the bathroom.
“What’s up with you?”
Jun shrugged his shoulders, indifferent to Chan’s concern. “What does it look like? I’m having a drink, like everyone else here.” He took another sip. From Chan’s point of view, it seemed more like a gulp than anything else.
Chan looked back at the table and glanced at you. “Why don’t you come drink it at the table...with us? Y/N’s in the bathroom but she’ll be back in a second.”
Jun sighed, swirling the ice around in his glass. “I’m just having a good time over here. I’m enjoying the vibes and the scenery. I can’t even do that?”
Chan looked at the now empty glass Jun had in his hand. He scoffed as Jun ordered another. “Never mind…”
“Do you have a problem with me?”
“No,” said Chan. “If you weren’t in the mood to dance, I get it. But I don’t understand why you left the table to come over here and down a whole drink in two minutes...”
“It’s been a while since I’ve had a good glass of whiskey. You should try it. Don’t be so uptight.”
With that, Jun placed his new glass in Chan’s hands. “Here, have some.” Jun cleared his throat. “Can I ask you something?”
Chan raised his eyebrows, curious at the direction the conversation was going.“What?”
“Don’t you get jealous?”
“Sometimes...but I try not to let it get the best of me.”
Jun pouted. “You’re her favorite.”
Chan couldn’t believe his ears. Was Jun serious? Was he actually saying these words in all seriousness? “Are you fucking kidding, Junhee? She literally left me for you. What we had was perfect and she left me and went running back to you! Did you forget about that or do you have a selective memory? You're the favorite here!”
Jun pouted. “It just seems like she always gravitates to you...”
“All night she’s been checking on you and wondering if you’re okay. In fact, I haven’t even been able to enjoy myself tonight because she’s been so concerned about you and your shitty mood!”
“She would do the same for you because that’s how she is…”
Chan ignored him. “Why are you so insecure? Can't you see that she's been concerned about you this whole time?”
“I wanted to take this trip and make it special just for the two of us and you just had to come and mess it all up!”
“Stop yelling.”
“I’m not yelling!”
“Well you’re clearly upset with me. Honestly, if you wanted your own time why did you let me come? Why lie to her and act like you're okay with me showing up if that's not true? Were you just trying to make her happy?” he asked.
“Of course I was trying to make her happy. I’m always trying to make her happy…”
“And you thought you’d make her happy by lying to her and leading her on? Looks like you’re doing a great job.” Chan couldn’t help but to let out a deep sigh. “You know, I thought you agreed to this because you thought it would be good for the three of us. I thought you were finally coming to accept things and make this work. I thought we were finally getting somewhere. But now I see I was wrong...”
Chan would be lying if he said he wasn’t hurt. He thought that maybe he and Jun could be friends. He thought that after the plane ride and the conversation they’d had that they’d finally be able to get along, not only for your sake but because they genuinely wanted to. But it was becoming more and more clear that Chan was dreaming and he needed to wake up from this dream.
Wake up, Yuchan...

Making out with A.C.E
Tumblr media
WARNING : Suggestive
Lee Donghun
Tumblr media
Would probably be a tease
Love random kisses, would come and surprise you and pepper you with kisses
Spontaneous but with purpose, if wants to make out, no one can stop and definitely not you or whatever you're doing
Hands - if you guys have time and it can lead to something else, it WILL lead to something else. But if just simple making out, would stay at your waist. Maybe at your neck
Might sneak in some kisses if outside. Too quick for you to respond Though
Bite your lips!!
Bites. Your. Neck. Would leave hickeys and your complains of having to hide them would fall on deaf ears
Just v v soft
Kim Sehyoon
Tumblr media
Softest
Probably giggles after you guys break away
Hands - at waist or back of the neck. Before wandering his hands, would ask for permission, is super endearing
Not a huge fan of making out in possibly public/ semi public places. Also not big on PDA so only would make out at home
Loves forehead kisses. Would kiss you on the forehead when leaving, when meeting, when you're about to sleep or is asleep
He's just adorable
DEFINITELY smiling during kisses. You could just feel him smiling into kisses
The type to shower you with kisses randomly. You're just watching TV but he'll come and pepper your face with kisses - eyes nose lips cheeks - everywhere and then giggle
Park Junhee
Tumblr media
Won't mind kisses in public but they would definitely be short
Would take his time with you, doesn't like quick sessions
Kisses that leave you breathless
Can you tell I'm whipped for him
Hands - definitely on your ass. He's an ass man and I don't make the rule. Might also grab your hair once in a while to pull you close when in mood
Loves lazy makeout sessions with you in his lap, maybe softly grinding
One way to get him weak - neck kisses
A tease for sure!
Neck kisses - both loves giving you and getting them. Although cautious with getting because you can't leave a mark
The type to push you against a wall and kiss you breathless
Kim Byeongkwan
Tumblr media
Hands - probably holding your face. He's just a soft person like this
But doesn't mean he won't tease. He'll probably kiss you and pull back just to see you chasing after his lips and laugh
All for PDA but nothing more the pecks
The babiest baby, a giggle mess
Would kiss you passionately and leave you breathless one second and the next second pull back and giggle in your neck
Leaves lots and lots of hickeys. Wants the world to know you're spoken for
Kang Yuchan
Tumblr media
Kisses in public, again, loves showing off to everyone that you're dating him
The kind of Boyfriend to introduce you to anyone he remotely knows or meet as 'my girlfriend'
Hands - he mostly would be confused on where to put his hands but It would depend on what is the mood. If it's just a small kiss, then maybe your waist. If more, his hands might pull you closer and trail to the back of your neck

Two Sides of the Same Medallion {KYC}
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kang Yuchan x Reader (Female)
Genres: Greek and Roman Mythology, first meeting, strangers to friends, two witty and stubborn individuals arguing over a literal tree stump.
Warnings: none
Word Count: 1.6k
A/N: This is for an ACEWRITERS event that I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of, Greco Roman Writes! Nike is the Greek god(dess) of victory, and Victoria is the Roman goddess of the same calling. Of course they don't share the same universe... or do they? What if on a soft spring night the two would meet? Oh this is shaping up to be very interesting indeed...
There was really nothing to do. She had already run around the width of the largest island in Italy seven times. Every one of the laps felt the same, the proceeding taking just as much time as the one before it, and by the time she stopped she was only marginally out of breath, much to her great displeasure. The previous night she had counted once again how many times she could deadlift a six foot long tree trunk before growing bored (two hundred eighty three), as well as the number of pull ups she could perform from a sturdy branch before the same mental unrest met her (one hundred ninety seven). She really didn't feel like counting them again, even if it was to beat her own score.
So, no. There was, quite literally, nothing to do. This upset her very quickly. She hated having nothing to do. It got to the extent where she would almost rather there were fifteen tasks on her metaphorical plate than none, the overcrowding was almost easier to deal with than the silence. Sighing, she figured she would do what she almost always ended up doing - going to the wooded cliffs only a few miles away at the tip of Brindisi, sit against a tree, and look out over the Ionian Sea. The sun was set to rise in only few hours anyways and she never really did tire of the vibrant oranges, reds, and pinks dancing in the water's reflection.
She took her time getting there. She didn't exactly drag her feet but she didn't sprint as she normally would have. Might as well kill some time and take in the scenery. I haven't done that in a while. Ultimately she was glad she did. The spring's second bloom was in full swing and although the sun wasn't out to open up the flowering tree's petals their sweet fragrance still melded with the crisp night time air. Approaching the vista, she sensed that something was slightly off and her footsteps slowed to a halt next to a particularly large shrub. She peered around cautiously until her eyes landed on a form, seemingly human, leaning against the tree she has always claimed as her own resting place.
This alone made her eyes narrow, softly muttering, "that's my spot..."
Taking a deep breath she briskly walked on, making her way towards the offender and not even bothering to be subtle. They didn't look her way, not even when she stopped only a foot away from him. How rude. She could feel herself getting more and more petty by the second as she cocked her hip and let her arms cross loosely over her middle. She cleared her throat. No reaction. What the... oh come on... She lightly coughed. "Hello?"
The poor figure jumped and looked around frantically before meeting her eyes. "Oh my gods-" he gasped, exasperated, "-you scared me nearly half to death! You should know better than to sneak up on people like that!"
The prickle of annoyance lifted her shoulders. "Well excuse me for barging in on someone I've never met before who's sitting in my usual spot!"
"Hey this is my first time here! How was I supposed to know this is your spot?" He gestured dramatically to the ground around him.
"What should I put a sign there or something? Just nail one to the tree? Ah yes I can see it now, 'may no man, woman, or beast rest here; save for Victoria the great.' I could see that going over quite well," she huffed, the very essence of sarcasm dripping from her words as her eyes rolled once again. They settled on his face. He was actually quite attractive, now that she got a good look at him.
"So... your name is Victoria then...?" Just when I was about to let you off the hook, huh?
She sharply refocused her eyes onto his. "How do you know that?"
"You just said it...?"
"I most certainly did not!"
"Oh wow sure you caught me going off your nametag."
"Nametag??" She looked incredulously on her person for only a second before glaring at him. He didn't even have to open his mouth for her to know what he was thinking. His eyes lazily looked at her with a blank expression that said it all. Seriously? You fell for that? Sighing with a shake of her head she resigned herself to plopping down and leaning against a neighboring tree. Despite how much she wanted that spot it wasn't worth the effort, his wit was annoyingly just as sharp as hers. "Well, you know my name." He stared at her with... some other sort of expression, one she couldn't quite read. Curiosity? Recognition? It felt familiar somehow. Not just the look, something else that was so tiny she would barely even try to put her finger on it. "Yours is...?" She trailed off again.
He diverted his gaze for one or two seconds. "Yuchan."
"Yuchan?" He hummed in affirmation. She nodded her head, "good name, I like it. Took you a second to answer though, is that your birth name or one you go by?" His eyebrows rose highly.
She quickly realized the gravity of what she had asked. "Sorry if that-"
"It's just-"
They both looked at each other waiting to speak.
"You can-"
"You go-"
Small smiles crept over their faces and laughter threatened to take them both over. She reached her hand out towards him so as to say go ahead.
After a moment, "It's my own name, and it's okay that you asked."
A light and comfortable silence enveloped them. Names are a personal thing. She didn't want to outright ask but she did have a small twinge of curiosity that he picked up on by her contemplative expression. "Before I was born... people thought I was going to be a girl, so they named me Nike. It could probably have been seen as a guy's name, sure, but I never really liked it, so..." he turned his face forward to look out over the waters.
Curling her legs to her chest and loosely draping her arms around them, she slowly nodded her head again before resting her chin on her knees. "I respect that." Out of her peripherals she saw him slightly look over to her for only a second before refocusing on the view. She did the same.
Neither of them talked for quite a while. Crickets sung an aria that mixed with distantly faint rolling of water on rock, and every so often a rustle from the leaves of the trees around them dancing in the gentle breeze. It was so calm that for a few precious moments she forgot who she was, her responsibilities, and the challenges of being more than mortal. It was just her, the beautiful world, and her friend a few feet away. Friend... could she call him that? Might as well.
Unbeknownst to her, he was having almost the exact same thoughts. Or at least type of thoughts. He was glad he found this place, and even her, really. Home had been getting too much for him, his superiors only giving him more and more work to do, expecting him to be perfect all the time and be completely and unconditionally devoted to his work. There was only so much success he could give to others, though, before he would drain himself completely. That was something they didn't seem to understand. So, he stormed out, and somehow found his way to that spot. Wherever this spot even is, anyways.
This turned out to calm him down much more than he thought it would, and despite bolting from everything to be alone, the company was nice.
Meanwhile, the fact that her spot had been taken over for the night was completely out of the mind of the girl in question. She slowly allowed herself to be lulled into sleep, leaning more heavily against the tree and her fingers relaxing their grip on each other from around her legs. As unconsciousness settled around her like a heavy blanket he stole a quick glance at her relaxed figure. The corners of his lips turned upward and his eyes softened before looking back away. Exhaling softly, he knew he should get back, but he decided to stay for just a little longer. Just until the sun starts to peak over the horizon. Then I'll go.
But not yet, for now, he would stay there, in that spot, and with that girl.
A new friend.

A.C.E reaction to their backup dancer being their type
Tumblr media
Sehyoon / Wow
This one is waaaaaay to shy to make a move. He’ll keep looking at you from afar, sometimes daydreaming about holding you close to him.
Tumblr media
Yuchan / Chan
He’ll initially be too shy to go to you and talk to you, but after being relentlessly teased and pushed by the olders, he’ll finally come up to you, his cheeks red as hell.
Tumblr media
Byeongkwan
He’s the kind of guy to get really attracted by soft moves, or even sexy dances. He’ll have his eye on you for the whole rehearsal, and maybe even peek glances during the show. Once the promotions are over, and you’ll have to part ways, he’ll definitely come up to you and ask for a coffee or something
Tumblr media
Donghun
I have a feeling that he’s kinda bad at flirting ? Like he’ll make some sweet gestures towards you, but gestures that could also pass at being friendly, so you’d be a bit lost.
Tumblr media
Junhee / Jun
This boy is a complete flirt. Like, the boy knows he’s attractive, and he’ll have no problem going to talk to you at the end of practice and asking you on a date out of the blue.

kyc - ‘easier’
kang yuchan [a. 349 words] “easier” - 5 seconds of summer
(i love you so much that i hate you, right now it’s so hard to blame you cause you’re so damn beautiful, so damn beautiful)
Tumblr media
“i hope you’re proud of yourself. tell me. how does it feel to know you always have me coming back?”
yuchan chose not to answer, instead opting to hold your waist tighter and push his frame closer to yours. he delicately raises your chin, allowing himself to stare into your eyes. the lights in the empty bar hallway don’t do him justice, the blank forest green walls only making him stand out more. he places a soft, light kiss on your lips. he keeps his face close to yours, bringing your foreheads together. he sighs, “i don’t know what’s more impressive: my ability to have you coming back time and time again or how desperate you are to return. it’s the same routine.”
you scoff at how shameless he is. “i wish you wouldn’t look at me like that. you say that you’ll be there and that you love me, but we always end up fighting.”
“tough love,” he spits out.
“this,” you pause pointing in between the two of you, your voice raising in volume and irritation, “is not tough love, chan. it’s tough, but it’s not love.”
“come on… don’t say that.” he reaches down to hold your hand, a second too late when you yank it away defensively.
“did you ever actually love me?”
he hesitates. “of course, i did.”
“exactly my point. you did. you don’t anymore.” you place your hands against his chest, feeling the satin material of his button up. you gently push him away from you. “why can’t you just let me go for once? it’ll be better for the both of us.”
“i will, eventually. i can’t now, not right now. tonight, i want to be with you. at least give me that. please… for me…”
you don’t know what happened afterwards. it’s a blur like always. one second he’s talking all sweet, trying to convince you, and you want to refuse. only thing you’re sure of is muttering the words “just for tonight” some time in between. yet you always find yourself waking up in his bed the next morning.

Happy Birthday to my perfect ult 😘🎂🎉🥳🎊🎈🎁💜
The nerves heavily built in the room as you sat there watching the pregnancy test on the table. Your fingers laced with your best friend Kim Byeongkwan who was also doing the same with his lover Kim Sehyoon. "If it's negative, remember to not let it get to you," Sehyoon said to help your emotions. "Yeah it means we get to have more fun again," Byeongkwan winks your way feeling your nervousness spiralling out of control. This was something you wasn't so sure of when Byeongkwan first asked you. But now you had imagined being a mum it's all you wanted. Even if the family dynamic was a little extreme. "I can't look," you said dropping your hand and contact from Byeongkwan. "It'll be ok, have faith," he gave a nervous chuckle as you made your way to the window. "Holy shit," he gasped as your body shot to face him. His figure was shaking slightly with the stick in his grip. Eyes brushing with Sehyoon they both smiled wide with excitement. "What does it say?" You gasped making your way back to them both. "We're going to have a baby Y/N," Byeongkwan said with pure excitement that he threw himself at you. "Be careful of the baby," Sehyoon snapped as you lost your balance to fall back on the sofa, with Byeongkwan clinging to you for dear life. "We're having a baby," he shrieked ignoring his partner's concern. -------------------🔺-------------------
From then everything changed. Like they had suggested they brought a bigger house. A three bedroom in the suburbs. Sehyoon had used his connections with his friend Kang Yuchan’s media company to further your career. You had expected your relationship to become something a little less conventional. But the former relationship after your antic switched back. Sehyoon being very careful to not be too close to you. You put his words during the night you conceived down to over thought emotions. Maybe he newly found a Breeding Kink or maybe it was part of his claim kink. While you imagined Sehyoon to be the one who wrapped you in cotton wool. It surprised you that instead it was Byeongkwan. Every sniffle, cough, hiccup had him in a panicked frenzy. Becuase of his meltdown, it turned to Sehyoon to be the calm one rubbing your back as you spewed into the toilet when the morning sickness hit. All while Byeongkwan would shop for anything to help ease your symptoms. Bowls of chicken soup, peppermint tea and ginger biscuits always awaiting you with what looked like several bottles of water. The thermometer in his shaky hands waiting when you enter as you hear Sehyoon Sigh. "Babe She's not dying it's morning sickness," he would grumble as he walked with his hand on your back to the sofa. Byeongkwan always leaping up to find a blanket to throw over you as he started bringing his after Sickness food snacks. ------------------🔺--------------------
However, it hit a different emotional level when you had your first scan. Your baby looking like they was dancing inside your tiny pregnant formed stomach. Byeongkwan was split between laughter and tears. Sehyoon’s eyes glazing over teary as his hands fell into yours. Watching the way they looked at each other and then you, was just as emotional. ---------------------🔺-----------------
Just a couple months later the scenes repeated but this time Byeongkwan was overly excited. "Can you tell us what we're having?" He asked as Sehyoon shot his gaze upon him. "Wait I thought we decided we didn't want to know," he said with his eyes furrowed. "You decided, I didn't . I want to know. No I need to know," he blurted out as his eyes look to yours for permission. "Fine, but I don't, so I'm going to step out the room," Sehyoon said reluctant leaving you both. "But I won't be impressed if either you two tell me," he warned as he left the room. "It's a Boy right?" Byeongkwan giggled impatiently. "You are indeed having a son," the sonographer blurted out as you watched Byeongkwan looked stunned. “I knew it,” he said looking pleased with his prediction. “I swore you said it was going to be a girl,” you teased him as he rolled his eyes your way. “I said I wanted a daughter, not that we were going to have one,” he said happily excitedly shaking his head as your hand fell to your growing bump. "He's going to be so beautiful if he takes after his daddy's," you said feeling your heart warm. You wondered if he would have Byeongkwan’s Eyes, but then that would practically confirm the biological father to you all. Maybe Sehyoon’s comforting calm personality be thrown into your child. Atleast you could kid yourself it was the environment rather then genetics. "If he takes after his mum he will be perfect," Byeongkwan said picking your hand up to leave a kiss upon them. "You admitting I'm beautiful?” you said with a cheeky wink. "Shhhh," he said chuckling with a wink of an eye as he looked at the screen once more. "And he's a very healthy boy at that," the sonographer confirmed. Byeongkwan's grin widened that made you feel giddy with happiness. Holding the scan picture in his grip he looked lost in the world of just him and his son. "He's so beautiful Y/N," he sighed as you elbowed him seeing Sehyoon walk towards you. "Remember he doesn't want to know," you growled as you smiled Sehyoon's way. "Have I got one?" Sehyoon asked intrigued with Byeongkwan's scan picture. "Here," you smiled passing him the envelope. Taking the photo out his smile matched Byeongkwan's. "Look at you two turning into messes," you chuckled as Sehyoon put his arm around you. "Let's go home," he said as Byeongkwan slowly walked behind you memorised. ------------------🔺--------------------
How on earth Sehyoon didn't guess the multiple times Byeongkwan slipped he in conversation. But when Sehyoon found the stash of Boy clothing you hid in the nursery he looked disappointed your way. "I was so hoping Byeongkwan was teasing me," he said placing the clothes on the kitchen table. "Why was you snooping in the closest when you knew I knew the gender and was shopping," you moaned scooping up your Soup. "I just...." he paused as he thought hard. "You disappointed?" You asked looking up at him worried. "Jesus no, I'm happy, just feels like I didn't get the excitement with the surprise," he said thumberling with his fingers. "I should have found out when you both did," he pouted as you made your way towards him. "But I am happy, happy were going to have a healthy son," he said resting his palm over your bump. "Our son is going to be perfect," you said resting your hand over his in a moment of pure bliss. However, there was a spark of something more. His eyes glazing over with an expression you hadn't viewed since you conceived. His hand turned to your face to cup them in his palm. You could feel the need of him wanting something much more then the friendship you had built. But it felt wrong with Byeongkwan not included. This moment in time it felt like you were doing something awful sunbathing in the electric atmosphere between you both. Sehyoon closed his eyes removing his hand as guilt drove through you. Before he could speak Byeongkwan came through the door. "What's got you two looking so awkward," Byeongkwan said noticing the atmosphere between you both. "He knows," you stutter avoiding Sehyoon's eyes. Sehyoon who had composed himself looked to his lover with a deadpan expression. "You finally listened to something I said. I've been hinting for weeks," Byeongkwan chuckled as he hanged his coat up. "However, no excuse to be all up in the air with Y/N," he said with a slight scolding tone. "He found the boys baby clothes," you said biting your lips. "Wait you brought baby clothes for our son without me," Byeongkwan snapped looking a little hurt. "Hold up your bitter at her yet I've told you it was a boy several times," Byeongkwan said before you could try and apologise. "I was hoping you was playing games with me," Sehyoon said with a sulking tone you hadn't witnessed before. "Well surprise were having a son," Byeongkwan said with his usual happy face. It took a couple of seconds to crack Sehyoon who rolled his eyes and took to the sofa. "And you missy," he said pointing at you as you gulped. "You promised me we would go clothes shopping together and you went alone," he pouted as you smirked. "Don't smile at me you're such a traitor I won't forgive you," he said crossing his arms. Sneaking your arms around him you tilted your head into his neck snuggling up to him. "Sorry," you said as he held back a chuckle. Sehyoon’s eyes was heavy focused on your usual friendship hug. His emotions blank as guilt ran through you letting him go. "Hey I need more persuasion for your apology," Byeongkwan scoffed feeling the emptiness. "Your lover looks like he would murder me if I hold you a second longer," you scoff watching Sehyoon's eyes widen at your joke. "Haha Kim Sehyoon are you jealous of our baby mama," Byeongkwan says pleased with this revelation. "Whatever," he said rolling his eyes as guilt hit you that he was feeling jealous. Had you crossed the line between them both? Had emotions between you three got out of hand? Your heart beat at the memories of their promise you wouldn't lose them. Though for now you hadn't, but the fear of that happening really threw anxiety and fear into your mind. --------------------🔺------------------
Things got slightly awkward afterwards. Sehyoon didn't like being alone with you, avoiding touching you unless you needed to for the baby. Yet when ever Byeongkwan was his usual clingy self you could see Sehyoon's eyes following you both, like some jealous boyfriend. You had witnessed Byeongkwan being jealous, but not Sehyoon. You had started to avoid them both, being sick in a bucket in your room with the music loud so they couldn't hear. Working late, to avoid going home so quickly. So when Yuchan offered a week long work trip you jumped up at it.
Sehyoon's jaw tensed slightly as Byeongkwan's eyes widened when you said you would be away for a week. "Y/N I thought we was a team, you can't just take our baby away for a whole week," he scoffed not amused as you tilted your head his way. "First it's work, which you guys agreed was very important and secondly I'm not taking your baby away, don't be melodramatic," you said deadpanning his way. "What if he kicks and we're not there to feel it," he said crossing his arms making you chuckle. "Then I am sure he will do that when I get home too," you said as he frowned. "Y/N it's a once a time offer when it's their firsts," he whined as you pressed your hands to his arm. Feeling Sehyoon's eyes zoom on the interaction, you dragged your hands back looking guilty his way. "Look through this whole journey their will be times all of us will be missing firsts. We take risks we will miss those everyday. It's not like any of us can quit working is their," you said softly as Byeongkwan sulked like a pubescent teenager. "Plus I'm sure he will wait for his daddy to be around when he decides to use me as a football," you smiled stroking your bump. "Why have you got nothing to add?” Byeongkwan said turning to Sehyoon for support. "We promised to respect the boundaries set," he said shrugging avoiding eye contact your way. "Fine," Byeongkwan said throwing himself back in to the chair as you chuckled at his childish actions. "Look I promise to have my vitamins, I promise to message you every day. You can even call and I’ll put the phone to my belly. You can have a conversation if you need to," you said reassuringly as he deadpanned your way. "Yeah how’s that going to work. It’s not like we can communicate," he said sulky. "Plus you two get to have some you two time," you said looking to Sehyoon. "It must be so hard having a women you both rammed living in your house," you added as Sehyoon blinked to your words. Silence filled the air as they both thought. "Y/N why you talking," , "Thanks Y/N I appreciate that. Me and Byeongkwan could do with enjoying the alone time," Sehyoon said cutting Byeongkwan off. The latter looked to him confused. "Right that's agreed so I need to get packing," you said before Byeongkwan could ask any more questions. --------------------🔺------------------
"So do you have a boyfriend?” Yuchan asked while tucking into your Jjajangmyeong. "I'm pregnant," you said brushing your hands over your belly as you deadpanned his way. "But you're a surrogate, aren't you?" He said popping some food in his mouth. "Well that's what Sehni said," he said focusing on his food. The word surrogate reminded you that you wasn't romantic in any way with them, despite the little butterfly feeling they gave you. "How about I introduce you to a friend?" He offered smiling your way. "I don't know Channie," you said pushing your hair behind your ear. "Well he's got a meeting here tomorrow, he could pop in, have a couple of drinks," he said eyes blinking at his words. "Well something not alcohol for you," he said smiling his radiant smile. "It’ll be nice to meet him, but don't get your hopes up I'm not exactly in a condition to date," you said showing your body to him. "You can take the time to get to know each other first and then when you popped then date," he said with his deep belly chuckle. "It won't work but hey I could do with more friends to socialise," you said playing with your food. The sudden familiar sickness was biting at you once again as you placed your chopsticks down. "You ok?" Yuchan asked with slight concern. "Yeah just fed up with this pregnancy sickness," you said getting up and wobbling. "Woah, take it easy, do you want me to call Sehni?” He asked concerned as you shook your head. "He and Kwannie will only worry," you said holding on to the wall as you felt weak. "But they should do, that's their baby," he said as your body tensed up. It hurt to hear so much how you were suddenly being perceived as not this child's mum. Is this how Byeongkwan really felt? Is this why Sehyoon had gone strangely off with you? "It's my body that's not working great, their baby is absolutely fine," you said with your eyes fixed sternly on Yuchan’s face. "Their your friends they will still want to know," Yuchan said with clear apprehension on his features. "As an friend I'm entitled to my privacy," you said as he looked defeated with the conversation. Sitting on your bed you felt your head spin. Your emotions feeling overwhelming and confused. ------------------🔺--------------------
You woke up to several missed calls from Byeongkwan. Just as you was about to reply to him, Yuchan dashed into your room. "Y/N, they've moved the meeting early we got an hour to get there," he said with panic in his face. Propping the phone into your pocket you smiled reassuring his way. "It's ok, Calm, we can do this I'm almost ready," you said walking towards him. "You've not had breakfast," he said looking worried. "It's ok I will just grab something on the way," you said as you watched him relax a little. -----------------🔺---------------------
However, in the rush you arrived having forgot to purchase something as you felt your stomach rumble. Yuchan thankfully hadn't heard as you knew he would be nagging you further. "Hi Miss Y/N," your client said taking your hand and pressing kisses to it. "Hi Mr Park," you said holding your hand back as you took his pretty features. You could feel Yuchan's eyes on you as you were getting lost in Junhee's. "I'm Yuchan, Kang Yuchan," Yuchan said offering his hand breaking the eye contact. "Thank you for coming all this way to see me," he said as he sat at his desk. Many shows that his tv company's was hoping to produce this year was the pipeline of Yuchan’s PR company's success. The meeting seemed to take ages as you discussed the reality and survival shows that his company wanted yours to give positive PR for. "Well here's my number," he said passing Yuchan his Card. "Incase you need to get in contact with me," he added as he picked another one up. "Or just to chat," he said holding yours to you. "I think it's wonderful doing such a sweet thing," he said sweetly as your eyebrows furrowed confused. "Mr Kang tells me you're a surrogate," he said as you could feel your body tense to that word. "Sorry, I know it's none of my business. I'm sorry I shouldn't have spoke so personally," Mr Park said as his eyes looked with sincerity. "It's ok, just it's complicated," you said honestly as he smiled his way to you. "Well if there's anything I can do just give me a call," he said. "Thanks Mr Park," you replied words failing you. "Call me Junhee," he said as he looked dazzling into your eyes. "But for now let's all have lunch together," he said as your body tensed. You knew food would no doubt make you queasy. "We've got another schedule to attend to, but I'm sure we would love to soon, maybe one day this week before we return back home," Yuchan said feeling the tension from your body. "Ok I will keep you to your word," Junhee said standing up straightening his jacket before offering Yuchan's hand. Yuchan mirrored him, smiling as he bowed to him before Junhee took your hand in his. "Till then Y/N," he said with a warming smile your way. "Thank you Mr Park," you replied bowing. "I told you call me Junhee," he said softly. "Sorry Junhee," you said with what you were sure was a blush. He really was very pretty to look at. But the slight dizziness reminded you you were carrying another man's child. "Jesus Y/N the man's nerve," Yuchan said as you left the building. "What, you were the one telling me to seek dating," you said holding his card in your palm. "Yeah Donghun not Mr Park," he scoffed raising his hand for the taxi coming its way. "What's wrong with him he's quite charming," you said as he opened the car door with his eyebrow arched. "Wasn't you the one tensing up at his offer of lunch?" He queried as you slid into the taxi. "I can't eat in front of strangers. It makes me anxious especially with this sickness," you said rubbing your bump. "You still haven't eaten," Yuchan scoffed concerned. "It's ok Channie, I'll make something when we get back to the apartment," you said as he didn't look reassured. "I promised Sehni I would look after you, please tell me you took your vitamins today," he said which made your eyes roll. That was till you couldn't remember if you had taken them this whole trip. "You didn't did you?" Yuchan whined your way. "I honestly can't remember it's been so chaotic since arriving," you said in your defence. "So no vitamins today, nor any food," Yuchan asked for confirmation like he hadn't been with you all day. "It's ok, I’ll sort it when we're back," you tried to reassure him. "But we have a video call with head office in half an hour," he said concerned. "It will be ok," you replied with your hand on his shoulder. "It better be," he said with a slight frustration. --------------------🔺------------------
The call was only suppose to take an hour, yet three hours had passed. Your stomach was rumbling like crazy, you felt really nauseas. Sehyoon’s name as well as Byeongkwan's was flashing on your silent phone from their call. Throwing yourself to the back of your chair with exhaustion Yuchan looked at you. "Why don't you have a bath, get changed before Donghun's here and I’ll order something to eat," Yuchan said as you smiled up at him. "Thanks," you said as you passed him to the bathroom for a well needed bath.
------------------🔺--------------------
"I'll get Donghun to bring some food," Yuchan said with some hope as you looked up to him on the sofa. "I don't know, I'm not comfortable eating in front of strangers incase I'm sick," you said with worry. "So what your not going to eat?” he said with his hands on his hips. The takeaway taking two hours to arrive and being noted as delivered when it hadn't had caused a large bout of tension. "Plus he knows your pregnant and I'm sure he wouldn't mind holding your hair as you puke," he said rolling his eyes scoffing. "I don't even let you do that," you said scowling his way. "Fine eat it in your room, but you have to eat," he snapped. "Sehyoon’s already sending narky messages because you've been ignoring them all day," he shot out as you pursed your lips his way. "I've been busy, you know full well we both have," you shot out. ---------------------🔺-----------------
"Food and the main show’s here," the chirpy voice said as he came through the door. Yuchan leaping up to snake his hand around his back welcoming him to the air b&b apartment you were staying in. "This is our wonderful, yummy mummy Y/N," Yuchan said showing his arm to you. "Yeah don't say that," you said cringing with his words. "Oh Channie," Donghun said patting him on the shoulder. "Don't change," he added smirking. "No please do might get less yapping," you said playfully his way. "Thanks for getting the food, we've both not eaten all day," he said grabbing the bag from his older friend and taking it to the table. "Chinese ok with everyone?" Donghun asked. "Y/N won't eat with us," Yuchan said as you felt the nausea attack from the smell of the food. "I promise I won't nag like him," Donghun chuckled your way. "Morning sickness she's anxious," Yuchan said pulling the different tubs on the table. "Anxious for what reason?” he asked you quizzingly. "Well," , "because you don't know me," he cut you off as you nodded. "Well if that makes you more comfortable I won't be disheartened," Donghun said reassuringly, his eyes twinkling in the light. "Thanks," you said as Chan offered you a plate. "Come on eat or I really will tell on you," he nagged as you groaned. --------------------🔺------------------
Like you knew it would, less then five minutes after the first bite you was head in the toilet puking. Your head all over the place when you jumped from a large pair of hands on your back. "I’ve got you some ginger tea, it's said it helps with sickness," he said rubbing it in circles. Instead of being embarrassed you took the cup from him. "Did you go to the shops to get this?" You asked turning to face him as he bent his knees to the floor to your level. "Yes, Yuchan was saying your really having a hard time with the morning sickness," he said concerned as embarrassment hit you. "It's ok my sister Inlaw was the same, drink some your feel better I promise," he said as he slid to the floor to join you. "One of the baby's dads buys this, it don't work," you said feeling doubtful. "It's a special concoction," he smiles unfazed. Taking a sip your eyes widened to find a mixture of flavours, mint and lemon hitting alongside the ginger. "It's lemon balm and Peppermint with ginger," he confirmed smiling as you enjoy sipping the drink. "Sorry this probably wasn't what you planned for your evening with your friend," you apologised as his smile never faltered. "How can I leave such a damsel in distress for some man time," he said chuckling. "I don't think I'm quite the damsel in distress," you said taking a larger gulp of the fluid. "You sure about that," he said as he took the cup from you as your body twisted to face the toilet bowl again. "Thought you said this would work," you cried as your body heaved. "Anythings worth a shot right," he said rubbing your back. Your head was swarming as your stomach felt in knots. But when your vision started to be cloudy you started panicking a little. "I really don't feel right," you whimpered. "I know Y/N," he said not understanding as he continued to comfort you. Twisting to face him as palpitations attacked you. "No I really don't feel good," you said holding on to him as his eyes widened. Hearing the crashing of the door didn't even faze you as you struggled with your failing body. "What the fuck Y/N," you heard the disgust in Byeongkwan's voice as you collapsed into Donghun's chest. -----------------🔺---------------------
You made your way to your room the second your foot hit the apartment. "We need to talk," Sehyoon grumbled with a tone you had never witnessed. "I just need to have a shower first," you said ignoring his request. "No, it can't wait we need to talk now," Sehyoon demanded as you gulped turning to look at them both. You knew the storm that was coming. Their silence from the hospital bed when the consultant confirmed you was anaemic. They were waiting to be alone to rip into you. It would have possibly have happened in the car ride home if it wasn't for the fact your head was in the sick bag for most the journey. But Byeongkwan and Sehyoon's pure silence told you that the storm was brewing. "Can you Atleast let my stomach settle before this upcoming lecture," you begged looking into Sehyoon's eyes as they slightly softened. "No Y/N we need to know what's going on," Sehyoon said less demanding. "I'm pregnant I'm sick I'm anaemic. It's as simple as I said," you said a little edgy. "You been skipping your Vitamins, skipping food. You did this," Byeongkwan snapped as you felt tears escape slightly. "I'm sorry, time just was too chaotic I didn't set out to do this," you whined as Byeongkwan looked with anger in his eyes walked closer to you. "You promised me, you promised me you would look after my baby," he said with his eyes twitching as Sehyoon gently held onto him. "I'm sorry I don't know how many times I need to say this," you said as the tears started to fall. You looked to Sehyoon with almost pleading in your eyes. "Don't give him those puppy eyes, he's super pissed too," Byeongkwan snapped as your head lowered. "We trusted you Y/N. We trusted you to have mine and Sehyoon’s baby. You're letting us down so badly," Byeongkwan said his eye widen with pure anger. "Your baby?" You hit out letting Yuchan words hit you. "Yes our baby," Byeongwan snapped looking at Sehyoon confirming to you that their was no misunderstanding on Yuchan's part. "I'm sorry I will be more careful," you said as you felt your tear escape down your face. "Y/N were just,", "I know I've let you both down, you have every right to be upset when you trusted me with such a big thing like this," you gulped back holding the bust of tears that was threatening to emerge cutting Sehyoon off. "I'm going for my shower now," you said with trembling lips. "Y/N," Sehyoon said softly. "The smell of sick isn't healthy, it will keep me being sick. Which isn't what your baby needs," you said watching Sehyoon's face etch with concern. You waited till he nodded and rushed to the bathroom. Turning the shower you threw yourself in clothes as well. Sinking to the bottom you allowed the burst to fall. Pulling your knees as best as you could to your chest, you rocked as you sobbed quietly. You felt the whole relationship you had with them both was ruined with this arrangement. The promise to not lose your friends falling through. The baby that you also wanted felt like it was being snatched away. --------------------🔺------------------
The atsmophere changed, Sehyoon joined Byeongkwan’s constantly nagging. Each morning Byeongkwan would wake you and drag you to the table to eat. Vitamins and medication were placed into your palm like they could no longly trust you. Their eyes watching as you took each one. Sehyoon would drop you to work. Yuchan would film you taking your medication and eating your lunch to Sehyoon to confirm you was taking care of yourself. The evenings once Sehyoon collected you was just as worse. Listening to their plans for your child. It was like a knife to your stomach hearing them plan their family life. One you knew you wouldn't exist in. --------------------🔺------------------
Feeling your baby kick when you showered hurt so much. Your hands reaching out to feel it once again. You cried with happiness at the growing bundle. But also sadness that you were being expected to leave your child behind. You felt mean but you kept the new development from them. It was like you needed this little bit to yourself.

The End ~ Kang Yuchan
Tumblr media
Your eyes widened in horror at the photo before you, your social media had been blowing up most of the day, which you chose to ignore, wishing you still had done when you finally chose to have a look at what had been causing so much commotion.
Your eyes then flickered to Yuchan who sat beside you, innocently swiping on his phone, unaware of the image that was currently before you. You didn’t say a word, throwing your open phone into his lap for him to take a look for himself.
The guilt that appeared in his expression gave the game away instantly. You could only let go of a chuckle of despair as his eyes looked across to you, a mere apology being uttered from his lips with very little thought.
“I can’t believe you’ve done this,” you whispered, snatching your phone back from him, “at least if you want to play games with me, do it so that people can’t see you.”
“I’m sorry,” he repeated yet again as you stood up from your seat, “I didn’t know that anyone was watching us.”
You scoffed loudly, “is that the part of this that you’re focusing on, the fact that you got caught out? Not the fact that you’ve cheated on the girl you’re supposed to love.”
Mumbles of words came from Yuchan, nothing that you could comprehend as his mind raced to search for the solution to his problem. As you continued to move around the room, he remained frozen to the spot, filled with uncertainty as to how he was going to get out of this one.
“I’m going to go to Y/F/Ns for the night,” you announced, grabbing your bag from the back of the door, watching as Yuchan quickly stood up and moved in front of you.
His hands stopped you from walking any further, “it’s late, just stay here and we can talk about this in the morning. I’ll take the sofa; I’ll be out of your way.”
“I can’t look at you, let alone be in the same house as you, just let me go,” you snapped, taking a step to the side to walk around him. “I’ll give you the night to try and come up with some sort of explanation, if not, you best get used to sleeping in that bed all by yourself.”
“Let me drive you to Y/F/N’s,” he called out, following behind you to the front door.
You spun around on your heels coming face to face with him, shaking your head at his carless attitude, “what part of I don’t want to see you do you not understand Yuchan?”
He let go of a sigh, taking a step back so that you could grab your shoes and a coat. His heart sunk as the cold air hit him from the front door opening, his hand reached out, only to come back by his side a few moments later.
“Drive safely,” he whispered as you stepped outside, pulling your jacket further around your body.
Your eyes glanced back at him, smiling weakly before getting into your car and driving away, for at least the night.

Tumblr media
Lee Donghun (Donghun)
Donghun finds you awfully cute in general, and you in his clothes is even more adorable. He'd want to snuggle you to death. He absolutely loves you in his clothes, so so very much.
Donghun has invited you on a night walk, and you're very excited.  Since it's much later at night, you need to put on warm clothes. You fish through your closet and find a nice pair if sweatpants and--ah!--you find an old sweatshirt that Donghun gave you at the beginning of your relationship.
You pull on the sweatshirt and walk into the living room where your boyfriend is waiting for you.
"Donghun, are you ready to go?" you ask.
"Yeah, I'm ready." He turns around and freezes when he sees you. "Is that mine?"
You look down at the sweatshirt. "Yes?"
"It looks adorable on you, Baby," he says, standing up to walk over and take your hand.
"Thank you, Donghunnie," you say.
Kim Sehyoon (Wow)
Sehyoon is the type of boyfriend to want you to wear his clothes. He's a tiny bit possessive, so seeing you in his clothes makes him feel like you really are his. He just loves the sight of you in his clothes.
Sehyoon is working in the music studio, late at night, when he hears a knock at the door. He frowns. Everyone left at least an hour ago.
"Come in," he calls out.
The door opens, and he swears his heart melts at the sight of you in the doorway. You're wearing one of his sweaters, which he had given you months ago to keep. It looks so big on you, and makes you look so small and cozy.
"Y/N, Baby," he says. "It's eleven at night, why aren't you asleep?"
"I missed you," you mumble. He smiles and scoots his chair backward, spreading his arms.
"Come here," he says. You walk over to him and wrap your arms around him in a hug, leaning into him. He hums, content in being with you, and presses a kiss to your forehead.
Park Junhee (Jun)
Junhee finds you in his clothes awfully adorable. Honestly, he practically supplies you with hoodies and sweaters. He buys sweaters with the expectation that they will disappear within the week. He wants you to take all of his sweaters. He definitely feels a bit possessive, and you're wearing his clothes--especially in public--because it reminds him that you're his, as well as the fact that it just makes you look adorable.
"I'm heading out to go shopping," you say, heading toward the door. You walk past your boyfriend, who is sitting on the couch.
"Baby, is that my sweatshirt?"
You turn around and realize that Junhee is staring at you. You look at your outfit and--oh yeah! It is. You didn't even know, you just pulled on the first thing you could find.
"Oh, I didn't even realize," you say. "Do you want it back?"
He shakes his hand and pulls you over to him, kissing your cheeks and your nose.
"No. I love seeing you in my clothes," he mumbles into your neck as he hugs you tightly.
Kim Byeongkwan
Byeongkwan generally finds you to be the cutest person ever. But when you're wearing his clothes--especially something like a sweater or an oversized T-shirt--it makes you a thousand times cuter. He wants to bundle you up and cuddle with you.
Byeongkwan closes the door as he enters your home. He's just returned back home to Korea from tour, and he doesn't want to wake you up, as it's so late at night. But as he turns from the door, he sees you snoring on the couch in one of his sweaters, a blanket half covering you and half falling off, keeping you warm while you sleep.
"Baby," he mutters to himself, smiling softly. You look so cozy and tiny and cute and comfortable in his sweater.
He walks over and grabs the blanket, trying to re-cover you properly. You shift in your spot at the feeling of the blanket moving over you, and you blink up at him, a smile creeping over your sleepy face.
"Byeongkwannie," you mumble. You reach up at him and pull him into a hug. "I missed you."
"Were you waiting for me, Baby?" he asks.
"Yeah. I was hoping to stay awake until you got here, I think I fell asleep," you explain.
"That's okay. Let's go to sleep, Baby."
Kang Yuchan (Chan)
Yuchan is completely absolutely weak for you in any of his clothes, especially when it's a sweater that makes you look tiny. His members are definitely aware of his weakness for you, and they tease him for it.
You grab the first hoodie you can find from your closet, which happens to be Yuchan's. You're supposed to meet Yuchan at practice and then go out for a coffee date, but you lost track of time and have to run over there in five minutes.
You pull on the hoodie in a panic and run out the door quickly. When you arrive at the building, you run to the practice room that they usually practice in.
You poke your head into the practice room and see the members of A.C.E joking around. Their practice has just ended, and they're all just chatting before heading to their dorm or other places. Jun looks over at you and waves, before turning back to Yuhan.
"Yuchan, isn't that your hoodie?"
Chan turns and looks at you. You see his eyes soften as his eyes land on you.
"That's my baby in my hoodie."
He approaches you and engulfs you in a hug, his members snickering at you two from behind. "Hi, Baby."
"They're adorable," Sehyoon says.

Hot Chocolate Kisses (Chan)
Tumblr media
Title: Hot Chocolate Kisses
Pairing: Chan x Reader
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 210 Words
Writer: Whattodowithkpop
*****
The storm outside raged. Heavy snowflakes pelting the windows as the snow began to pile in front of the doors and windows.  It had been snowing for three days now, never enough sun to melt the previous day's snow, so the white dunes continued to stand and cover the ground.
I sat on the couch watching the snow fall onto the ground. The fireplace crackled as it burned the wood that kept the house extra warm. I hear my husband walk into the room with two mugs in his hands. Turning to face him, I smile as he hands me one of the mugs. The contents warming my hands as they make contact with the ceramic cup.
"Thanks Love." I tell him as he sits next to me.
I take a sip of the hot chocolate, the liquid warming my insides as it travels through my body. I hum in contentment.
"Looks like  we will be snowed in for a few more days." Chan speaks up, making me turn towards him.
"I hope you aren't sick of me yet." I giggle as I lean over to him, connecting my mouth to his.
Chan hums as he pulls away slightly. "Not when you taste like hot chocolate." He laughs as he goes in for many other warm, chocolate kisses.
