Starless Lovers {13}
Tumblr media

Pairings: Lexa x Sister!Reader, Bellamy Blake x Fem!Reader (eventual)
War was brewing. But with the defeat of Mount Weather, that war is now over. We’re living in peace now. And Skaikru is no longer the enemy. It’s time we learn,
Blood must not have blood.

“It’s been four weeks. You have not left your room since we returned.” You glanced at Lexa as she walked towards you, shrugging slightly.
“Your point?”
Lexa shot you a look as she sat next to you on the balcony.
“My point is I’m worried. This isn’t like you. What’s wrong?”
You slightly shook your head, looking back down at the sketchbook in your lap.
“Nothing’s wrong.”
You cut a glance at Lexa, nodding slightly.
“Where did Indra go? And don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about. I saw her sneaking out.”
“Indra is being Indra. I don’t need to know her whereabouts at every moment.”
You nodded slightly.
“Sure. But even up here, I’ve heard the whispers of Wanheda. And I am not an idiot.”
“I never said you were.”
“No, you didn’t.”
Lexa hummed softly, turning her head and looking out over the balcony.
“Reina has been asking for you.”
You hummed softly, not bothering to give a response. You hadn’t seen Reina since before the war, in Tondc when Finn was reunited with those he killed.
“She’s been quite persistent since she learned you were back.”
“She’s a determined girl.”
“She also misses you. She lost her brother. And you are like a sister to her. She thought she lost you.”
You cut a glance at Lexa.
“I’m your sister. And you thought the same.”
“Yes, you are and I did. But you’re not dead. You’re alive. And I know that, I’ve seen that. Reina hasn’t. You should see her.”
You hummed softly, looking back down at the sketchbook.
“I will. In time.”
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
Indra was leading the way, Monty, his mother, Kane and Pike behind her as Bellamy held up the rear when Pike slowed down to walk next to Bellamy.
“Can I ask you a question?”
Bellamy nodded slightly, still keeping an eye out as they walked.
“Last report we got on the Ark, you were under attack by grounders. What changed?”
“Turns out we had a common enemy.”
“What happened to them?”
Bellamy’s jaw clenched, memories of what happened in Mount Weather flashing as he responded.
“We killed them all.”
Pike went to say something else when Indra lifted her hand, turning slightly and muttering.
“Quiet. Listen.”
Bellamy slightly tilted his head to the side, and in the distance, the sound of heavy drums could be heard. Indra clenched her jaw, glaring.
“Azgeda.” Monty looked over at Indra, slightly making a face.
“You can tell it’s Ice Nation from the sound?”
“No, from them.”
Indra pointed to the two dead bodies on the ground nearby.Pike stepped forward, slightly shaking his head.
“We need to get those bodies off the field unless you’re good with them thinking we did this.”
Kane nodded. “Go, hurry.”
Bellamy was looking through the scope of his gun when he stopped.
“Wait! Two people, twelve o’clock. It’s Clarke!”
Bellamy lowered his gun, about to run towards her when Pike moved in front of him, stopping him.
“Get out of my way!”
“You’ll never make it in time.”
“He’s right, look.”
Monty pointed towards the army that was now closer.
“No way we get across without being seen.”
“We should stay low, let the army pass, then we find Clarke.”
Monty looked around, spotting a cave. They grabbed the two dead bodies as they made their way to the cave, Indra looking up at Kane.
“I can’t go with you.”
“Why?”
“Ice Nation has crossed the border. They’re marching against my Commander. I have to warn her. Riheda will be preparing for war.”
Bellamy lifted his head at your title. He hadn’t seen, or heard from you since you had been reunited with your sister a month ago.
“We’ll get Clarke.”
Indra nodded.
“You better. If the Ice Queen get’s her, we’ll be at war.”
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
“Wanheda, ai swega klin.” (Wanheda, as promised)
You lifted your head from where you sat, watching as Roan removed the bag, Clarke slightly shaking her head as she looked up, looking around from her kneeling position, her eyes hardening as Lexa stepped forward.
“Hello, Clarke.”
Lexa stood in front of her, looking her over before she looked up at Roan.
“The deal was for you to bring her to me unharmed.”
“She didn’t come easy.”
Lexa sighed softly, nodding.
“I expect not.”
“I’ve done my part, now do yours. Lift my banishment.”
“I’m told your mother’s army marches on Polis.”
“That has nothing to do with me. Honor our deal.”
“I’ll honor our deal when your Queen honors my coalition. Lock Prince Roan of Azgeda away.”
Two guards went to grab Roan when he tried to fight back, two more appearing and helping remove Roan from the room, leaving Lexa, yourself, Indra and Titus with Clarke.
“Gon osir we.” (Leave us)
Titus shared a look with Indra, Lexa looking back at them.
“You heard me.”
Indra and Titus bowed their heads slightly before they left the room.
“Sis em au op.” (help her up)
You watched as Clarke was helped up, Lexa pulling the gag from Clarke’s mouth, Clarke glaring at her.
“It had to be this way. I had to ensure Wanheda didn’t fall into the hands of the Ice Queen. War is brewing, Clarke. I need you.”
You tensed when Clarke spit on Lexa, charging towards her. You nodded, the two guards still in the room grabbing CLarke, Clarke fighting in their hold as they pulled her back.
“You bitch. You wanted the Commander of Death, you got her. I’ll kill you.”
They dragged her out of the room, Clarke yelling.
“No!”
You watched as Leca wiped her face, turning and walking out onto the balcony. You sighed softly, moving to follow after her, sitting down on the chair while she leaned on the ledge of the balcony.
“Well, that could’ve gone better.”
“I’m not in the mood.”
“Hey, I’m just trying to make you feel better.”
“Well, it’s not working. Don’t you have something better to do?”
“Then make my little sister feel better, no.”
You slightly shook your head.
“Nothing is better or more important than you.”
“I’d like to be alone. And you should be with the war council, preparing.”
“They can wait.”
“Esme, please.”
You sighed softly, standing up.
“I’ll be setting up sentries for the border. And then, after I deal with the war council, I’ll be back, no matter what you say.”
“Go, I’ll be fine.”
You walked towards her, giving her a half hug, lightly tapping your head against hers.
“Ai hod in yu, ai deimeika.” (I love you my sun)
Lexa leaned into you, lightly returning your soft tap.
“En ai yu, ai riskishana.” (and I you my moon)

🐌  Hello! I am 20 and I am looking for 18+ people interested in writing something The 100 related (very dead fandom, I know). I’m happy to do ccxoc (preferably doubling up but I might be open to just writing a canon for your oc) or ccxcc.
I write about 200-400+ words per reply but I’m happy to go below or above those numbers. I’m not super picky when it comes to reply length, as long as I get a paragraph or two and things move forward. I am pretty slow with replies, generally speaking.
I am mainly interested in writing Murphy, but I’m also very happy to write Monty, Kane, Echo, Emori, Anya or Indra. Or, maybe, Raven, Octavia, Lexa, Bellamy or Jasper. Might be open to trying someone else, too, depending on. Fair warning that it’s my first time writing within the fandom, so it might take me a moment to get the characterisation correct.
I’ve watched everything but season 7 and I’m happy to do something within canon-verse (preferably pre-season 5, either divergent or canon-compliant. I’m flexible) or some sort of AU. I’m pretty open to darker themes, and I love a bit of hurt/comfort and trauma recovery (and found family, and most other things). I’m open to NSFW but it is not 100% necessary. I’m weak for most ships and I’m open to any pairing (including anything poly). I have a slight preference for anything queer (queer headcanons are more than invited), but I’m happy to do mxf too (I am especially weak for Murphy x Emori). For mxf I prefer writing m.
Like this and I’ll reach out! I write on discord but I’m potentially open to gmail or documents, instead

I love watching the beginning of Indra and Kanes relationship. I also love calling them bestfriends and having my roommate (who hasn't watched past season 2) laugh like I'm kidding.

Just realized bc I'm not the only one going through it, "In this life or the next" really brought back “In peace, may you leave the shore.
In love, may you find the next.
Safe passage on your travels until our final journey to the ground.
May we meet again.”

Chosen Side
Pairings: John Murphy/reader Bellamy Blake/reader (past relationship)
Warnings: swearing, mentions of violence
Chapter: 5.01
“You got what I’m looking for?”
“Yeah, I managed to get it,” you said, handing the bag with spare parts over to Raven. “I sure hope you know what you're doing, Reyes, because I don't.”
A wide grin spread across her face. “Trust me, I know. Soon I’ll be with Finn, and then I’ll radio the ark so the rest of you can come down.”
Truth be told, you were a little jealous. You had dreamt of going to earth all your life, and now Raven was getting to live out that dream. You just hoped it wouldn't be too long until you got to join her.
Your eyes fluttered open at the sound of cheers and yells from people rattling the metal wire above you. For a brief moment, you were back on the ark when your biggest concern was stealing from the tool shop for your friend. Now you are surrounded by people cheering for your death.
Kane gave you a sympathetic look before Blodreina kicked him in the chest. He was refusing to fight. Your eyes moved to the man behind him who hit you over the head. He was now standing back, shaking in the presence of his queen.
You braced yourself to watch a man who had saved your life countless times be killed. You closed your eyes as tears spilled from them. You need to be brave. Just as Blodreina was about to swing her sword down, the arena shook.
You pushed yourself up slightly and watched in confusion as two people slid down into the arena on ropes.
“Bellamy?” Octavia ran towards her brother and hugged him tightly. “I knew you'd come. I knew you'd come.”
Bellamy.
You felt as if you’d seen a ghost. Indra helped you to your feet and glanced in the direction of Clarke, “go to him.”
The feeling of breathing in fresh air for the first time in six years was surreal. Your heart rattled in your chest as your eyes landed on Bellamy, who was heading straight for you.
“Danica…” He sounded different than you remembered. “You disappeared before we had a chance to talk.”
“Sorry, I just—it was all a bit much,” you confessed. “I’m really glad you are alive, Bell.”
“I’m glad you're alive as well,” He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around you. “I’d spent so many nights wishing you’d come with us instead of staying in the bunker.”
Your chest tightened again. The guilt of choosing to stay with Octavia over leaving to rescue Raven has eaten you up over the years. The main reason for your decision was that you were still recovering from being shot in the side by a stray arrow during the conclave and you would have slowed them down. Regardless of your reason, it didn’t make it any easier.
You pull back and wipe away a stray tear. “Where is everyone else? Are they okay?”
Bellamy nodded slowly. He was looking at you as if you were a stranger. It could have been because your hair was braided like a warrior, or the black war paint on your face, but from the way his brown eyes bore into yours, you knew it was something more.
“Did Blodreina tell you why I was in the fighting pits when you arrived?"
“No, she refused to tell me anything.”
Good. You were glad she hadn’t told him anything.
“Tell me about the fighting pit. How did that happen?”
“It’s not my place to tell you how your sister died.” The words came out a lot harsher than they had sounded in your head. “Sorry, I-”
“When we last saw each other, you swore to protect O as if she was your own sister.”
“And I did.” You shook your head, “We’ve all done things we aren’t proud of to survive... just know I did everything I could until she pushed me too far. I loved Octavia. I really did. But she’s gone and the red queen has taken her place.”
Bellamy would never understand how Octavia broke your heart by becoming so cruel. “I know we have a lot to catch up on, but I really need to get going,” you gently squeezed his hand. “Just watch your back, Bell. I'd hate to see you in the fighting pit.”
“Octavia wouldn’t do that to me. I’m her brother.”
If only he knew.
You gripped a blade in one hand as you slowly made your way to the door. With all the madness happening outside, you thought it was safest for you to stay in the bunker.
“Y/N, it’s me. I’m alone.”
Sighing with relief, you opened the door, and stepped aside to let Miller in. He looked worried.
“What’s going on?” You ask quietly.
“Octavia wants to go to war with Diyoza.”
You stare at him shocked, “why?”
“Diyoza has taken Kane and Abby since her people need a doctor,” he explained. “She has also taken Murphy and Raven as hostages.”
A sinking feeling settled in your gut. You turned to face the bed at the sound of feet padding against the floor.
“Uncle Nate!”
A forced smile replaced Miller’s face as your son ran towards him with his arms open wide. You smiled at the sight.
“Hey little man!” Miller picked him up and spun him a couple of times.
Over the past few years, you’d grown close to Miller, and you were thankful to have him as a friend. “Joaquin, go get dressed.”
You and Miller went into the hallway so Joaquin wouldn’t hear you now that he was awake. “She wants me to fight, doesn’t she?”
Miller let out a deep sigh. “Blodreina says if you march beside her, she will pardon your crimes against Wonkru.”
Oh god.
You couldn’t go against her again, which meant you had no other choice than to do what she wanted.
“I better get ready for war then.”
You had somehow managed to survive in a field full of parasitic worms, incoming missiles, and sandstorms. And doing whatever Blodreina ordered you to without arguing.
Joaquin had always enjoyed helping his ‘mama’ put on war paint from a young age. He found it goofy rather than frightful, which was a good thing since your chin, eyes, and forehead were covered in lines of black kohl. It was hard to leave him in the bunker, but hearing him laughing before you left made it slightly easier. Savannah an elderly woman who stayed a few rooms down from you, had agreed to watch over him until you returned.
You are now sitting side-by-side with the person you despised. “How does it feel to see my brother again?”
“The brother you just threatened?” You scoffed. “Fine. Me and Bellamy ended a long time ago. I’m just glad he’s okay.”
“Yeah, I started to doubt they would ever return to earth.” You sat in silence until she spoke again. “I’m glad you decided to come. Shallow Valley will be a new start for all of us.”
“What choice did I have?” You snapped. “Last time I refused to do what you wanted, you threatened to put my son in the fighting pit.”
She opened her mouth again, but closed it when a jeep approached. Monty jumped out first and looked over in your direction and waved nervously.
You sprinted towards the jeep when you saw Harper emerge from it. God, you missed her. She held onto you tightly, and only pulled back to let Monty join the hug.
“You guys have no idea how happy I am to see you.”
“The feelings… mutual.”
You followed Monty’s line of sight to see Bellamy kissing someone. Oh, shit. He was kissing Echo Kom Azgedakru, the former spy who had tried to kill Octavia.
You glanced at Blodreina and could tell from the glare in her eyes that all hell was about to break loose.

War has always been brewing. With twelve clans, each with different ideals, it was always going to happen. But tensions rise when they come, the people from the sky. We watched from a distance, learning. But then they attacked, and if there's one thing all the clans can agree on,
Blood must have blood.

“Ark station, do you read me? Anybody there?”
Clarke grabbed the radio, huffing slightly as she pressed the button.
“Bellamy, you’re late. Every three hours means every three hours.”
Bellamy scoffed, shaking his head.
“Are you through?”
“Have you found the source of the acid fog?”
“No. That’s gonna have to wait.”
“What? No. Nothing is more important than that.”
“Our friends are. They’ve started taking them from the dorms one at a time, every few hours.”
“Taking them where?”
“I don’t know. We tried to follow them, but they went to a classified level. Maya borrowed the schematics of the vent system from her boss, and I’m still trying to find a way in.”
Bellamy turned towards Maya, slightly tilting his head to the side.
“Anything?”
“I think I found a path, but it’s gonna be tight. Here’s the walkie Raven asked for and the earbud.”
Bellamy took the radio and earbud from Maya, Clarke shooting Raven a look.
“We’re going to make him mobile so he can talk to us from anywhere.”
Clarke nodded, turning back towards the radio.
“Bellamy, you have to find them.”
“That’s the plan.”
“If you don’t, all of this is for nothing.”
“Yeah.”
Clarke turned towards Raven, looking down at her.
“I’ll be right back.”
“I thought you were going to Tondc?”
Clarke ignored Raven as she walked out of the room, Ryker following behind her. She walked into the room where Kane was, speaking to him as she walked towards him.
“Plans have changed. I’m staying here.”
“The commander’s expecting you.”
“Our people inside Mount Weather are in trouble. I’m not going anywhere until I know they’re okay.”
“And what can you do for them from here?”
“You’ll go to Tondc in my place. Lexa and Esmeray respect you. I’ll get there as soon as I can.”
“Clarke, wait.”
Kane grabbed her arm when she went to turn, causing Ryker to step forward, drawing his knife.
“Put it away.”
Ryker stepped back as he sheathed his knife, Clarke turning back towards Kane.
“Clarke, being a good leader means knowing which battles to fight.”
“And which to delegate. I know. Please, I need you to go to Tondc.”
“Fine. I’ll go.”
“Thank you.”
Clarke turned, walking towards the door when Abby walked in, looking over at Clarke.
“What is it?”
“Kane will explain.”
“Perhaps your mother should go.”
Clarke looked over at Kane as Abby turned towards him, Kane nodding slightly.
“She is still the chancellor after all.”
“Which is why she’s needed here.”
Clarke turned, stopping when Kane called out to her.
“And will you be the one telling Esmeray or should I do that as well?”
Clarke balled her hands into fists as she took a deep breath, turning back towards Kane.
“Esmeray will understand. But, I’ll tell her myself.”
She turned, walking out, Ryker following behind her. Clarke glanced back at Ryder, looking up at him.
“Esmeray is still in her tent, right?”
Ryker nodded, huffing slightly. Clarke turned back around, leading the way out of the Ark.
“Lets hope she’ll understand.”
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
“Riheda.”
You turned, looking over, seeing Indra walking towards you, a scowl on her face.
“Indra.”
“The summit is today. You should not be here. You should be on your way to Tondc.”
“And I will, later. It’s still early in the morning. The summit is tonight. I have time.”
“Esmeray this is wrong yo-”
Your stare hardened as you stood straighter, looking over at Indra.
“I’ve made my decision. Are you questioning me?”
Indra sighed softly, shaking her head.
“No Riheda, I’m not.”
You nodded once, turning back towards the fight. Octavia was fighting Borlin, Borlin having the upperhand for most of the fight.
“She is too angry.”
You hummed, watching as Octavia lunged right.
“She is undisciplined. Untrained.”
“And is that why you’ve taken her to be your second?”
Indra glanced at you, huffing slightly.
“She is too stubborn for her own good. But, she can learn. She will learn.”
You watched as Borlin brought Octavia to her knees, Octavia glaring up at him, her jaw clenched as she yielded. You reached up, unclipping your cloak, handing it towards Indra.
“Ma gou.” (my turn)
Borlin and Octavia looked over at you as you walked towards them, Octavia standing as Borlin nodded, preparing to fight. You shook your head, looking over at Octavia.
“No, ai gonplei Okteivia.” (no, I fight Octavia)
Octavia’s eyes widened as she looked over at Indra, Borlin stepping back.
“Kom op. Nau.” (come. now)
Octavia nodded slightly as she walked towards you, her sword hanging loosely at her side as she moved to stand in front of you.
“Ogud oyo bleirona.” (ready your sword)
Octavia slightly made a face, tilting her head to the side. You huffed, nodding at her sword.
“Ready your sword.”
Octavia nodded slightly as she tightened her grip on her sword, lifting it in front of her. You looked over at Indra, nodding. She nodded back, stepping forward slightly as she yelled.
“Stot au!” (begin)
Octavia made a face, looking you over.
“Jomp op ai, Okteivia.” (attack me, Octavia)
She hesitated before she moved forward, lunging towards you. You leaned back, slightly to the left as you stuck your foot out, causing Octavai to fall. She gasped as she landed, quickly jumping up as you turned back towards her.
“Nodotaim.” (again)
Octavia lunged forward again, only to face plant into the ground as you once again caused her to fall.
“Nodotaim.”
It went on for a while, the back and forth of Octavia lunging and you dodging. It was as if you were toying with her, making no moves to attack or defend as she attacked. You could tell Octavia was starting to grow tired, but she kept going. She lunged once more, bringing her sword up above her head. This time you stepped towards her, grabbing her wrist holding the sword, your other hand slapping into her ribs, causing her to gasp. Her grip on her sword loosened, causing you to grab it, pulling it from her grasp as you flipped it towards her, shoving Octavia back as you kicked her legs. She fell, landing on her back as you moved closer to her, the end of her sword pointed at her neck. Her eyes were wide as her chest heaved, looking up at you.
“Riheda.”
You turned, seeing Clarke standing next to Indra, Ryker behind her. You huffed slightly as  you lowered her sword, lifting your other hand, holding it out to her. She slightly made a face before she placed her hand in yours, letting you help pull her up. You handed her back her sword, nodding.
“You did well, Octavia.”
She made a face as she sheathed her sword, shaking her head.
“I didn’t even manage to hit you once.”
You shook your head as you both walked towards Indra and Clarke.
“Fighting isn’t always about landing a hit. It’s about learning. Next time, you won’t attack first. You’ll wait, and you’ll learn your opponent. When fighting, it’s best to know what you’re fighting, or you’ll get yourself killed.”
Octavia nodded as you both stopped in front of Indra, Indra placing your cloak on your shoulders, holding it in place while you clipped it. You looked over at Indra as she walked back in front of you, nodding.
“My guards and I will leave for Tondc. You and the others can join us when Clarke is prepared to leave.”
Indra nodded as Clarke slightly shook her head.
“Riheda, I need to speak with you.”
You nodded, walking forwards, Clarke falling into step next to you as Ryker followed behind you both.
“Ryker has served you well?”
Clarke nodded, glancing over at you.
“Yes, thank you.”
You nodded as you walked into your tent, glancing back at Clarke as she followed in after you.
“Have you heard from Bellamy?”
“Yes. And I‘ve decided that I won’t be going to the summit.”
You turned towards her, slightly glaring at her.
“What?”
“My people are being taken and we don’t know where they’re taking them. Until I know that they’re safe, I’m staying here.”
The summit tonight is for all the clans. If you want Skaikru to be a part of that, then you must be there. It’s not up for debate, Clarke.”
“I’m sorry, but I won’t be there.”
Your glare hardened as you walked towards, stopping in front of her, slightly leaning down as you looked down at her.
“Lexa was wrong about you. Skaikru is and always will be, the enemy.”
You stepped past her, knocking your shoulder into hers as you walked out of the tent. You stopped, glancing at Ryker.
“Kep in blinka em.” (keep an eye on her)
Ryker nodded, bowing his head.
“Sha, Riheda.” (yes)
You walked forward, hearing Clarke call for you. You turned, glaring at her.
“My name is Riheda. You do not get to call me by my name.”
You turned, walking back towards the others, seeing your guard already mounted on their horses, Indra holding the lead to yours.
“Where is Octavia?”
Indra slightly made a face, shaking her head.
“Inside.”
You nodded, taking the lead from Indra.
“Clarke has decided that she will not be going to the summit. You still have a couple of hours before you need to leave in order to make it to the summit.”
You took a deep breath as you climbed onto your horse, looking down at Indra.
“Lexa has issued an order for Skaikru’s protection. Whoever wishes to come to the summit, you have to keep them safe.”
Indra clenched her jaw, nodding.
“Yes Riheda.”
“Ryker will stay behind to watch Clarke.”
“You mean protect her.”
“I said what I said Indra.”
Indra nodded, grabbing the reins when you went to lead your horse forward.
“Indra-”
“Tell me why you really came here. I know you Esmeray, you did not come here because of some tension.”
You glared slightly, taking a deep breath.
“I wanted to see for myself. I needed to see Skaikru for myself. And I’ve seen it. And they are the enemy. They will always be the enemy.”
Indra nodded as she let the reins go, stepping back, gently kicking the side of your horse he ran forward, your guards following behind you as you rode through the gate of Arkadia.
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
Currently you were all taking a break, letting your horses rest and drink some water. You still had a few more hours before you got to Tondc, give or take.
“Riheda.”
You looked up, seeing Axel standing over you.
“We’re ready to leave now.”
You nodded, leaning back against the trunk of the tree you were sitting against.
“A few more minutes.”
You couldn’t see Axel as he nodded, turning and walking towards the others. It was peaceful, reminding you of the times you’d spend with Sato, when the two of you would sneak away from your responsibilities. It was a nice break from everything, the peacefulness bringing you a sense of calm when the first gunshot rang out.
“Maunon!” (mountain men)
You jumped up, grabbing the sheath of your sword from where it laid beside you, pulling your sword free as you dropped the sheath, looking around. You turned when there was another shot, seeing one of the horses fall down.
“Shil op Riheda!” (protect)
Your guards surrounded you, Axel tackling you to the ground, covering your body with his. You glared up at him as you tried to push him off, huffing.
“Get off me.”
Axel shook his head, looking down at you.
“No.”
More gunshots rang out, the sounds of the horses whining as they fell ringing through your ears before you felt something wet land on your forehead. You turned your head, seeing one of your guards laying on the ground, bleeding from his stomach.
“Kova op faya!” (cover fire)
Grabbing their bows, they notched an arrow, shooting it in the direction the gunshots were coming from.
“We only want the commander! Give her to us and the rest of you can live!”
“Go jok yuwas!” (go fuck yourself)
“This is your final warning!”
You turned when you heard movement, seeing Marc sneaking into the treeline. It was quiet before a shot rang out, causing you to squeeze your eyes shut.
“Riheda.”
You opened your eyes, looking up at Axel.
“We need to move, now.”
You nodded, Axel moving off of you when more gunshots rang out, Axel climbing back on top of you, his arm covering your head. You took a deep breath as he leaned up, your eyes widening as he jerked, blood splattering across your face as it poured from the wound in his forehead. He landed on top of you, tears welling in your eyes. You went to move him when he was kicked off of you, causing you to glare as you tightened your grip on your sword. You looked over when something pressed on top of your hand, seeing the mountain men standing over you, pointing their guns at you.
“Uh huh. Not today, little commander.”
You glared up at him when something hit you in the head, blackspots filling your vision as you passed out.
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
Clarke was with Raven, the two listening to the radio.
“That’s Emerson.”
“She did say she was coming for you and that if we let her people go she’ll let our people live.”
“It’s a little late for that.”
“I’m sorry I failed sir.”
"No, it’s okay. We’ll finish the job tonight. Whitman just radioed in. Apparently, there’s a war council meeting happening tonight in one of their villages, and all the leaders are gonna be there.”
“Sir, I feel good. Let me take a team out and support Whitman.”
“No. He has less chance of being spotted if he’s alone.”
“Sir, Whitman’s good, but he can’t take out that many targets alone.”
“Which is why we’re gonna use a missile. This time, we’re not gonna miss.”
“Please tell me you heard all that.”
“We heard it.”
“We have to warn them.”
Clarke looked over at Raven, slightly making a face.
“Did Kane take a radio?”
“No. This is the only unjammed frequency. We have to keep it open for Bellamy.”
“If I leave now, I can make it there in time.”
“In time to be blown up, you mean.”
“When I get back, I want to know our friends are safe and the acid fog is down. Can you handle that?”
Raven nodded, looking over at Clarke.
“Yeah, we can handle it, go.”
“Clarke, wait. Octavia was in Tondc when I left. Is- is she um-”
“She’s here. She’s safe.”
“Okay. Good. Be safe too.”
“I will.”
Raven shook her head, making a face as Clarke sat the radio down.
“Octavia’s in Tondc for the meeting. Why’d you lie?” “Bellamy can’t be distracted. It helps no one.”
Clarke turned, walking towards the door, stopping when Raven called out to her.
“Hey, don’t get blown up.”
Clarke offered her a small smile as she nodded, walking out of engineering.
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
Lexa stood with Kane, watching as Clarke walked towards.
“Clarke of the Sky People has honored us with her presence.”
Clarke nodded, sighing softly as she stopped in front of them.
“I’m sorry I’m late, Commander.”
Kane smiled, slightly shaking his head as he looked down at Clarke.
“You made good time. I assume the kids at Mount Weather are okay?”
“For now.”
Clarke looked over at Lexa, slightly stepping forward.
“Can we talk in private?”
Lexa nodded, slightly making a face.
“Yes. This way.”
Lexa led Clarke inside, turning towards her.
“We can talk here.”
Clarke nodded, repeating what she’d heard from the radio.
“A missile? You’re sure?”
“Yes. We have to start evacuating now.”
Lexa shook her head, huffing slightly.
“No.”
“What do you mean, no?”
“If we evacuate, they’ll know we have a spy inside their walls.”
“Not necessarily.”
“We can’t risk it.”
“What’s the point of having an inside man if we can’t act on what he tells us?”
“Is the acid fog disabled? Is our sleeping army uncaged?”
Clarke shook her head, causing Lexa to nod once.
“Then Bellamy’s job is not done. Without him, we can’t win this war.”
“So what are you saying? We just do nothing, let them bomb us?” “It will be a blow, but our army will be safe inside the woods, and it will inspire them.”
“And what about us?”
“We slip away, right now.”
Lexa turned, walking off before she came back, handing Clarke a cloak, nodding.
“Put this on.”
“Lexa, wait. You don’t understand. I provoked Mount Weather. I sent a message to distract them from Bellamy.”
“Clarke, sometimes you have to concede a battle to win a war.”
“No. We can inform the leaders of the clans, pick a rendezvous point in the woods. Each of them can slip out separately.”
“And how many more people will they tell? Where do we draw the line?”
Clarke’s eyes widened as she looked over at Lexa, scoffing.
“Well then cancel the meeting, start a fire, something!”
“Clarke, we don’t have time for this.”
“No, no! This is wrong!”
“It's also our only choice and you know it. You could have warned everyone up there but you didn’t. You said nothing, not even to your own people. This is war Clarke, people die. You showed true strength today. Don’t let emotions stop you now. It’s time to go.”
Clarke shook her head, glaring at Lexa.
“And what about your sister? Esmeray?”
Lexa looked over at Clarke, slightly glaring at her.
“My sister is none of your concern.”
“So you would let her die then? You care so little for your own family?”
Lexa took a deep breath, shaking her head.
“My sister is not here. I don’t have to worry about her dying here.”
Clarke made a face, slightly tilting her head to the side.
“She left this morning. She should’ve been here hours ago.”
“The clan leaders have their disagreements with my sister. And my sister views them as children. Knowing her, she’s waiting till the last possible second to arrive. Which works in our favor, but we need to go, now.”
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
Cage walked into the room, glaring at his father.
“Who helped them? Who helped them?!”
Wallace shook his head, sparing a glance at Cage.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Cage shook his head, pacing.
“You still have influences, people who believe in you and one of them irradiated level five today. I want to know who it was.”
Wallace huffed, turning towards Cage.
“It was me.”
“Well, you and whoever helped you killed eleven of our people today, and for what? We’re gonna retake their level soon enough.”
Wallace scoffed, shaking his head.
“Get out of my sight, Cage.”
“I know we disagree, but this will all be over soon. I bombed Tondc today.”
Wallace turned, his eyes wide.
“My father installed that silo to protect us, Cage.”
“Why can’t you see that that is exactly what I’m trying to do? With Clarke and the Commander dead, the savages can go back to killing each other. And should they refuse, we’ve taken their dark commander. Her people will do whatever they’re told to keep her alive and then we can retake the ground.”
“And it only cost you your souls!”
Cage turned, shaking his head.
“He’s ready.”
Wallace stepped back, looking between the guard and Dr. Tsing.
“What are you doing?”
“Freeing you.”
“Restrain him, easy.”
The guard grabbed Wallace a little too harshly, causing Cage to shake his head.
“Easy, do not hurt him.”
Cage watched as Wallace was injected, Wallace falling onto his bed.
“The marrow kicked in in forty eight hours. You’ll thank me someday.”
Cage turned, walking out of the room and down the hall. He stopped in front of one of the rooms, pushing the door open. He walked to the bed, grinning as he looked down. You were still out of it, strapped to the bed, the injection they’d given you to keep you sedated working wonders. Cage reached out, running his fingers down your cheek and along your jaw.
“We’re going to have so much fun together.”

The Dead should have transcended. Saying that he [JRoth] wanted that but couldn’t because of the way it was written.... dude just take that one line down. It’s your show. Plus quoting the book when they were wrong about the war being a test invalidates any translation the disciples originally did. So Levitt could have still said that and then the dead could have still appeared, transcend. We should have at least seen Bellamy at that beach scene, but I also would have loved seeing some of the original cast like Finn, Wells, Clarke’s parents, Kane, MONTY & LINCOLN ( two of the most purest human beings). If not in person, at least a mentioned that they transcended or something. All that “May we meet again” was for nothing...

Now we live
Previous chapter
Chapter: 0.07
Nova stood watching as Kane tried to blend his people with her own. It was a disaster waiting to happen. She was surprised her commander had agreed to it.
“Monin.” Kane said cheerily. “I thought we'd start with a reception then move on to training. We have a lot to learn from each other. Weapons there, please. Only Ark guards are here.” Indra along with other grounders threw their weapons into a box. “Thank you for agreeing to this, Indra.”
Indra looked him up and down, before replying with a snarky comment. “We're here on the commander's orders. I agreed to nothing.”
The council meeting room quickly became full of grounders. Kane looked uncomfortable as he spoke to Jaha in a low voice. Nova tried not to smirk as she heard Octavia telling a guard to stick his tongue up his ass. She sighed listening to Kane deliver a speech about their common enemy, the mountain men.
Nova’s eyes landed on Murphy as one of the other grounders started to square up to him. She bit down on her bottom lip as she decided what to do. With eyes on them Murphy had suggested they kept a low profile with the aftermath of Finn’s death still being raw, and a part of that was not jumping in to defend each other unless it was necessary. Nova did as Lexa said and stayed away from the ceremony, but now Nova wasn’t sure if she could go back as whispers about her involvement had started to spread. Thankfully it hadn’t reached the ears of the sky clan yet.
Murphy glared at the person in front of him, “you got a problem?”
“Yu stood der watching while Ai village was massacred.” ‘You stood there watching while my village was massacred.’
Nova couldn’t hold her tongue. “Penn hod op. Yu get in em wasn’t em.” ‘Penn stop. You know it wasn’t him.’
Murphy shrugged, “sorry man. I don’t speak grounder.
Penn stepped even closer to Murphy, causing him to push the grounder back. Kane stormed over to them. “Mr. Murphy, apologize to that man.”
“For what?” Murphy asked. “He started it!”
Kane shook his head. “Two days' work detail.”
“Work detail? I just told you I didn't do it-” Murphy challenged him.
“Care to make it three?”
Penn glared at Murphy, “you can burn just like your friend.” Murphy clenched his fist but ignored the comment. He was trying his best not to take the bait.
Penn smirked, “Hei nova? ha does Ai feel bilaik a skaikru slut nau? everybody get in Yu turned bilaik bakon ona bilaik gada in kru gon Disha. cockroach. Ai wonder chit bilaik sister would fig raun taim she could-”
Penn was cut off by Murphy punching him in the face. As a riot broke out between sky people and grounders, Murphy ignored Kane who was yelling at him, and grabbed Nova’s hand and dragged her out of the room with him.
______
Murphy closed the door behind him and spun to face Nova. Who looked bewildered by what just happened. “Are you okay?”
She nodded, “I’m fine.” Her fingers trailed over the bruise appearing on his knuckles. “I can’t believe you punched Penn in the face.”
“He had it coming,” Murphy’s eyes were glued on Nova’s fingers. He wasn’t used to somebody worrying about him, she gently pressed a kiss to the back of his hand before rubbing her thumb over his swollen skin. “What did he do to you anyway?”
‘Hey Nova? How does It feel to be a Skaikru slut now? Everybody knows you turned your back on your own people for this...cockroach. I wonder what your sister would think if she could-‘
Nova shrugged, pretending the comment didn’t hurt her. “Nothing important, just that I’m a slut, a traitor, and he was starting to talk about my sister when you punched him.”
Murphy gritted his teeth. He would have done more than punch Penn in the face if he had known what he was saying. “How do you say I’m sorry in grounder?”
Nova chuckled. “I’m fiya, why? Are you thinking of apologising for causing a riot?”
Smiling Murphy shook his head. “Hell no. I just wanted to say...I’m fiya Nova.” He brushed a loose strand of hair behind ear, “you could have gotten hurt in there.”
She closed her eyes. “I’ve been through much worse, and so have you.”
Murphy gulped down, his eyes had trailed from her fingers to her pink lips. His feelings towards the grounder confused him. From the moment he let her escape the drop-ship something changed. He had never put his neck on the line for anyone before, let alone a stranger. The grounder girl who helped him live quickly became his only friend. But now? Murphy wasn’t sure if friendship was the only thing he wanted.
Nova opened her eyes to see Murphy gazing down at her. The look made her stomach tighten, her lips parted slightly as he leaned towards her.
The door to the room swung open, as Clay, a young grounder stood sheepishly rubbing his neck. “Kane en indra are lufa au Yu both. Ai heard chit happened fou, Skai boy punched penn gon defend Yu?” ‘Kane and Indra are looking for you both. I heard what happened before, Sky boy punched penn to defend you? Causing a massive fight to break out? ’
A wide smile spread across Nova’s face as she nodded, “he don dula.”
Murphy frowned as the grounder raised his eyebrows and left, “what was that about it?”
“He was asking if it was true if you punched Penn, and caused riot.” She laughed, “Kane and Indra are looking for us.”
Great, just great.
______
“Good, Fio. Who's next?”
“I am.” Octavia stepped forward, “We're supposed to train together right?”
A few grounders tutted as the sky girl argued with Indra that she should train with them. Kane stood beside Nova who was leaning against the wall. “Aren’t you going to train?”
She shook her head, “I’ve never been much of a fighter.”
“What is your skill?” He asked curiously. Kane wasn’t dumb, every grounder he had came across had a specialsed skill.
“Archer...” memories of the promise she made to Treyton came flooding back. “Let gyon au kom foutaim.” Kane raised his eyebrow at the grounders mumble. Nova cleared her throat, “We should all try our best to let go of the past. I can teach your people how to use a bow and arrow if they are interested. And Indra says it’s okay.”
He smiled, “thank you.”
______
“I take it you don't approve.” Murphy did his best to Ignore Jaha. “I asked you a question.”
Murphy stopped mopping and turned to face Jaha. “Who cares what I think.”
“I do. That’s why I asked.” Jaha looked back at his people and grounders training together. “So what do you think?”
“I think the grounders can go to hell.” The moments the words passed his lips he regretted saying them. Murphy didn’t hate all grounders, he was pissed at them getting special treatment. “Most of them anyway.”
The chancellor waited until the hallway was clear before following John further into the camp. “I got you off work detail.” He watched as the teenager screwed his face up. “You knew my son and I'd like you to take me to his grave. Now that there's a truce, it's safe for me to go see the body.”
“Then get somebody else to take you,” Murphy spat.
“I'm told the graves are unmarked. You can show me which is his.” Jaha offered Murphy a gun, which he accepted. “You can hold a mop, you can hold and gun.”
______
Murphy scoffed as he watched Jaha kneeling at Wells grave. He had no sympathy for the man who killed his father. “Are we about done? We got to be heading back.”
Jaha didn’t take his off Well’s grave, “How well did you know him?”
“Well enough to be hung for his murder.” Murphy paused, “Clarke sugarcoated it for you didn't she?”
“What happened to my son?
Murphy sighed, he didn’t want to relive one of the worst days of his life. “Twelve-year-old girl stabbed him in the neck with a knife she took from me”
Jaha shot his head up. “Why would she do that?”
“She couldn't kill you,” he shrugged. “Yeah, so you got a lot of blood on your hands, Chancellor. Every single one of them including your son would still be alive if you hadn't sent us down here.”
Jaha stood up and clasped his hands behind his back. “ If I didn't send you, they would've died on the Ark with the rest of us and we would've never known that Earth was survivable. Their sacrifice is why we are here. Good can come out of even the darkest acts, John.”
Murph groaned as Jaha started to walk the wrong way, “Camp you is that way.”
“We'll rest at the dropship for a while.”
“Suit yourself.”
______
Murphy shook his head as Jaha continued to offer him food. “You sure? You must be hungry?”
“No one gives anything without expecting anything in return.”
Jaha looked at him with a blank expression on his face. “That's a cynical way to go through life, John.”
“You pull me off work detail, you offer me food. Why are you being so nice to me.”
The chancellor cleared his throat, as if was getting ready to deliver a speech. “Everyone deserves a second chance. That's why we sent the hundred to the Earth in the first place.”
“What a load of crap. You didn't give a damn about us. You still don't, that's why you're not fighting for those kids in Mount Weather.”
Jaha gave him a disapproving look. “I have to think of everyone. I know you don't want to hear this but sometimes you have to sacrifice the few to save the many. Like I said, good can come out of even the darkest acts.”
Murphy shook his head. The only person who treated him like a human was Nova, she showed him kindness when nobody else did. “Then you can take it from me, I was pardoned, slate wiped clean I'm still treated like dirt.”
“You made mistakes, so have I.”
Murphy glared at him, “I'm nothing like you, Chancellor.”
“No, we both should have died several times over. We both suffered at the hands of the grounders. We both have been betrayed and imprisoned by our own people.”
“So there's no place for us,” Murphy said sarcastically. “Great thought you were supposed to be inspiring.”
“There is a place for all of us. When I first landed on Earth I met a woman who spoke of a place beyond the dead zone, a place where everyone is accepted, a city of light.”
“Sounds like a fairytale.” Murphy continued to listen to Jaha’s rambles about a better life, while trying not to think about what could be happening back at camp.
______
Murphy awoke in the drop-ship to the sounds of others talking. What the fuck? He jumped to his feet, “Hey what the hell is this?”
Jaha stepped to the side to reveal a small group of people standing outside. “We're going to the City of Light.”
“You're going now? There's a million ways to die out there.”
“If it's not your time, nothing can kill you. If it is your time it only takes one.” Murphy opened his mouth to reply when Nova came into view. What the hell was she doing here? Jaha smiled at the young man’s expression. “I thought you might want some company Mr. Murphy.”
Nova quickly hugged her friend before turning to face the strange man who had asked her to join them. “Do you even have a map?”
“Nope.”
Murphy wrapped his arm around Nova’s shoulder. “Then how do you know where you're going?”
“I don't, but I won't be moved by fear. You want to stop being treated like a criminal. You gotta stop thinking that's what you are. Take this leap of faith with me, John Murphy and let me show you there is so much more for you than this.”
Jaha started to lead his ‘people’ away. Murphy and Nova watched as the group started to fo further into the forest. “Why did you come?”
“Jaha...your leader said he knows what I’ve done...he apparently knows how to make the pain stop.” She blinked away tears, “I feel so guilty. Every time I see your people...I see his face everywhere I look.”
“So you want to go?”
Nova bit down on her bottom lip. “I-I don’t know. I’m not going anywhere without you, if you stay I stay.”
For the first time in hours a smile pulled at the corners of Murphy’s mouth. He weighed up their options, they could return to camp Jaha and risk others finding out what Nova had done, or take a chance. “What the hell,” he shrugged. “My people hate me, and Lexa has practically banished you. Let’s see what this place has to offer.”
Nova leaned up and kissed him on the check. Murphy locked his own fingers with hers, as they started to catch up with the group searching for the city of lights.

thoughts on my fave the 100 ships as of mid-s5;
1. clexa (clark x lexa) - once we saw them on-screen together, MAGIC! both pragmatic idealists in the face of a harsh reality. understood eachother in ways other didnt. STILL UPSET THEY KILLED LEXA. STILL THE ROMANTIC IDEAL.
2. bellarke (bellamy x clarke) - the closest confidants. an immutable trust between them. electric chemistry. honestly was rooting for bellarke UNTIL LEXA SHOWED UP. even then, bellarke's relationship transforms into a close familial bond. 'we bear it so they don't have to' [ABSOLUTELY NO HATE FOR BELLARKE]
3. jonty (jasper x monty) - SO MUCH TO UNPACK. the closest bond among the 100 delinquents. the greatest 100 friendship. the most tragic. they both genuinely loved each other as friends (though they both only were in het relationships, they had great chemistry and tension in their scenes, especially in s3-s4. istg given time WE COULDVE HAD THE GREATEST QUEER LOVE STORY ON THE 100). THIS SHIP WILL FOREVER BREAK MY HEART
4. doctor mechanic (abby x raven) - abby and raven's relationship slowly developed from alliance to close mother-daughter bond. with raven being so close in age to clarke, abby saw a lot of her in raven, growing to care for her as her own. orphaned, raven would slowly open up to sinclair and then abby, finding her surrogate parents. i freaking cried when raven broke down after abby tortured her to feed her addiction, asking shaw 'have u ever loved someone so much that no matter what they do, u accept them?' I BAWLED. DONT TOUCH ME. IM NOT DONE CRYING.
5. linctavia (lincoln x octavia) - will never forgive jroth for killing lincoln. ok admittedly, octavia's story improved by bounds, but STILL. im hurt. lincoln was the last true idealist and the last time octavia was happy. i honestly thought linctavia would be the key to uniting skaikru with everyother clan (though props to octavia DID IT ON HER OWN 👏).
6. memori (murphy x emori) - the meet-cute to end all meet-cutes. she robs and knocks him out when they first meet. crazy bumps in their relationships (murphy is held hostage by a homicidal leader, emori is sent to the city of light, escaped praimfaya together, spent 6 yrs in space, etc.). both are bonded by their outsider status and desire to survive. also low key the cutest. regularly commits murder and treason for their love.
7. indra x kane (kindra? idk what the name is) - i feel like their relationship is underrated. the belief and trust indra and kane have for each other, they form one of the most solid partnerships in the show. theyre both great leaders committed to doing what is right and saving the greatest number of lives. boundless respect.
8. clarke x madi (cladi??) - clarke's 6yr solitary experience was bleak until she met madi. when we meet them, their bond is already so strong. when madi tells clarke that lexa's greatest regret was her betrayal at mount weather, then clarke later telling her how much she loved lexa but how that pales in comparison to the love she feels for madi 🥺. mommy clarke is too good for the world AND LET NOTHING HAPPEN TO HER MADI.

~The 100 Master~
*Based off episode 3x09 of the 100, Stealing Fire*
Previously…
“Y/N YL/N, for the crimes of treason, kidnapping, and attempted murder,” Bellamy found himself standing straighter, his hands falling to his sides fast when he took a step forward, mentally pleading that Pike wouldn’t finished his sentence. That you’d get one more chance. That this wasn’t the end for you. “I hereby sentence you to death.”
Bellamy couldn’t breathe.
You didn’t move. You didn’t blink. You didn’t protest or say anything. Bellamy couldn’t believe it, he didn’t want to believe that after everything this was how it was going to end, with him watching a pair of guards hoist you to your feet and out the room, straight into the cell without a second word.
Bellamy brought a hand to his face, wiping beneath his eyes because he could’ve sworn his were watery. “Sir we’re killing our own people now?” Bellamy asked Pike the moment your body was pulled from the room. Pike sighed, putting his hands on his hips under his jacket as he looked at him.
“We’re at war. Crimes against leadership won’t be tolerated.”
“And she dies to be an example?” Bellamy lowered his voice, hoping the new level will keep him from showing his emotions but Pike saw right through him. The older man spared a glance to the door.
“Y/N’s actions put this whole camp at risk. I know what she means to you,” Bellamy adverted his eyes. “But am I making an example of her? Damn right I am, and I hope their executions make it clear where our people’s allegiances lie.” He finished as Bellamy quirked a brow.
“Their?”
Pike nodded, moving amongst the room to the door before looking back. “Their. Kane and Sinclair were in on this, they will be examples as well.” Bellamy’s eyes widened as Pike straightened his back. “Do I make myself clear?” Bellamy didn’t know what to do, but ultimately, he hesitated before nodding. Pike held the door open for him, dismissing him as Bellamy shuffled out fast. As soon as he left, he went looking for Monty, trying to think of how to reverse this whole situation.
Kane was pacing back and forth in the cell, Sinclair watching him the whole time until the door to the open to show you being escorted by 4 guards, two of them holding your biceps. You tried to pull yourself free from them briefly, but they held on strong and soon you gave up, closing your eyes before hearing Kane say your name.
You looked up, seeing all the grounders looking at you as well as Sinclair and Kane himself. You were shoved into the cell rather harshly as you glared at the man to your right. He didn’t say anything, just unlocking your hands and closing the door behind you. Kane was the first to step forward, his mouth opening to say something, but you just shook your head.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry, I failed.” Your voice cracked as Kane finished off the final distance, pulling you into his embrace. You let him wrap his arms around you and you tucked your head against his chest, feeling him hold his hand against the back of your head. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. It’s okay Y/N.” He said as you nodded against him, not coming out of his embrace as you looked up at him.
“I’m being executed.” you told him. Kane felt like he was punched in the stomach as his hold on you tightened. He licked his lip, glancing around him at all the crestfallen people around him. You didn’t need him to say anything for you to know he had no clue what to do.
You messed up.
You should’ve killed Pike.
You messed everything up.
Bellamy and Monty stood in the hallways of the ark. “What happened in there?” Monty asked Bellamy who placed his hands on his hips, his eyes wide as he liked his lips.
“They’re gonna execute her. They’re gonna execute Y/N. Kane, Sinclair, and Lincoln too.” He told Monty who sighed, leaning against the wall and closing his eyes.
“We have to do something. I mean, Sinclair, Kane, even Lincoln are one thing, but Y/N? I mean she’s one of us. She’s practically family now.” Monty said and Bellamy ignored the way his chest clenched at his words because to him, Monty was right. He wasn’t going to let this happen. “What about Harper and Miller?” Monty questioned, thinking about the last two of your accomplices. No sooner than he got the words out did Hannah, his mother, came through the set of doors next to them, stopping their conversation.
“Nicely done today.” She told them both with a smile that Bellamy wanted to peal off her face. In no way what today was nice. Were you able to identify anyone Kane and Y/N were working with?” Monty slowly looked up at her as Bellamy almost immediately answered a no, making Hannah eye him curiously. Monty followed with his eyes before shaking his head, lying to his own mother. Hannah knew something was up, but looked past it, reminding them about the correct sides of this war. “It’s not hard choosing what’s best for your people, isn’t it?”
Bellamy looked at her, biting the inside of his cheek as he again answered with a slight shake of his head. “No. I do it every day.” He spoke, similar words to his ordeals earlier but this time his ‘people’ were different. This time he was going to whatever was best for you. Because to him, right now you were the only ‘people’ that mattered.
Back in Polis, things have been going down since Lexa’s death. Clarke and Murphy were stuck in Polis thanks to the blockade and at the sound of a horn echoing throughout the city, they knew the conclave was to begin. The bed in the room was still covered in Lexa’s blood, slowly dripping onto the floor as Clarke stared at it. Murphy watched from across the room as Clarke seemed to snap out of her daze, pulling her eyes away from her love’s blood and pounding on the door.
“Clarke.” Murphy said in between her pounds as they stopped. “I’m sorry. I knew how much she meant to you.” He apologized, thinking about the prospect of finding Emori, the girl had grown to care about being in the same situation.
Clarke didn’t spare the boy a glance as she deflected her emotions. “This isn’t about me. We have to make sure Aden wins this conclave.” The door opened as Titus walked through it, barely glancing up as Murphy scoffed.
“What, you come here to finish the job?” Murphy asked bitterly, subconsciously talking a step back as he remembers all the torture ensued at Titus’ hands. Titus handed over some clothes to each of them before stepping back.
“I’m fulfilling a vow made to Lexa. Put these on.” He told them. Clarke looked at the grounder clothes with disgust as Murphy followed directions, putting the coat over his own.
He glanced over at Clarke, seeing her make no move to change. “The door we’ve been trying to open for the last 24 hours is open Clarke. Let’s use it.” He reminded her but Clarke ignored him, turning to Titus and throwing the clothes back at him.
“You killed your commander. How are you still free?” She asked him, biting back her words not to scream.
“I’m the only Fleimkepa.” He told her as she scoffed. “Please, if you go now, you can slip in the crowds arriving for the conclave.” He told her as Murphy stepped up, grabbing her arm.
“Clarke, Let’s go.”
“I need to see Aden.” She told Titus.
“That’s out of the question. The Natblidas have begun the purification ritual.” Titus informed her. After Clarke demanded once again to see him, Titus led them both to where the Natblidas, the Nightbloods, were in ritual. 5 nightbloods knelt on the ground, watching as Aden stuck his hand into a container of red powder and stood in front of a dead Lexa.
“Hofli Keryon kom Heda na sad ai op.” Aden whispered into the air as he sprinkled the red powder over Lexa’s dead body.
May the Spirit of the Commander choose me.
The door opened to reveal Clarke, Murphy and Titus standing in the doorway as Aden turned to look. Clarke asked to speak with Aden who offered her a moment to be with Lexa, but Clarke denied, insisting she needed to speak with him about honoring his promise to her people.
“If Heda’s spirit chooses me I will honor the promise. Lexa made us all vow it. We loved her.” The boy looked distraught as Clarke nodded, feeling relief in the fact her people would be supported.
Roan came into the ritual, Ontari, the nightblood Clarke had met earlier when Nia dripped her black blood across Clarke’s face, followed behind Roan and the second she saw Clarke she attacked. She took Clarke to the floor, holding a knife in the air only to be stopped by Titus after she pushed Aden away from his attempt. Roan ordered her to put the knife down, but she snapped at him. “She’s the reason your mother is dead.”
“You will obey your king.”
Ontari tightened the grip on her knife before pulling it away. Looking Clarke dead in the eyes. “No matter. When I am Heda and the king bows to me, you and every last Skaikru will die.”
You sat on the bench next to Kane, watching from across the room as Lincoln spoke to a woman bandaging up another before he stood up, walking across the room. You took a deep breath, crossing your arms as Lincoln stood in front of you.
“She going to be okay?” you nodded over to the woman as Lincoln looked over, sighing softly.
“She will be. So will you.”
You let out a defeated chuckle, knowing Lincoln was wrong. “You inspire them. That’s the Lincoln I knew.” He put his hand on your shoulder, making you look him in the eyes as he offered a sad smile.
“I’m not gonna let you give up, either.” You wanted to tell him to give up, to accept that this was your fate just as you had, but you couldn’t say anything as the door to the room opened.
Pike, Bryan, a few guards as well as Bellamy entered. Bellamy immediately caught your eyes through the cage as you got to your feet, looking towards Pike. “I thought I had more time.” You muttered.
“I’m not here for you.” He looked over your shoulders and around the room at the several grounders and Kane and Sinclair. “Each of you are guilty of the same crimes as Y/N. You will all share the same fate. Death.” You swallow back the awful dose of reality Pike just shot at you as you felt Bellamy’s eyes boring into the side of your face.
The grounder woman from earlier asked Lincoln what Pike was saying, not understanding English to which Lincoln told her not to worry. “My people are innocent. They know nothing. Don’t let them suffer for my crimes. Please.” You looked over your shoulder at Lincoln, watching his jaw rigid as he pleaded to Pike.
“Sir, Lincoln’s right.” You were shocked when Bellamy spoke up. “All the others did was run through an open door, same thing we would do if we were in the same position.” Pike paused as he looked at all of you before nodding.
“I agree that true. Kane, Lincoln, Sinclair, and Y/N as leaders of this coup, you will pay for your crimes with your lives.” You gasped, stepping forward to protest but the feeling of everyone’s eyes on you stopped you. Pike looked you up and down. “Execution is set for dawn.” He led the guards out of the room as they followed, everyone except Bellamy.
“Y/N-“
“Don’t. You chose your side. This, all this, is not your fault, but I wouldn’t be here if you’d chosen the right side.” You whispered barely loud enough for him to hear before you turned around, walking away and wiping tears trying to fall out of your eyes. You went years without crying, but on Earth Bellamy Blake managed to turn you into a damn waterfall. He doesn’t know the affect he has on you.
Bellamy watch you join a slumped Kane on the bench. Kane wrapped an arm around your shoulder as you let your eyes close and you could feel the soft trail of a tear making its way down your cheek. His eyes hardened and he practically dashed out of the room in search of Monty.
Monty and Bellamy stood outside Miller’s room, Bellamy having just pounded on the door. Miller and Harper exchanged glances before Miller opened it. “What are you doing here?” He asked as they let themselves in. Bellamy brought a finger to his lips, shushing them. He reached into his pocket pulling out a knife. Miller and Harper went into high alert, hands reaching for their guns before Bellamy calmed them down. He reached for Miller’s jacket, cutting open a part of it to reveal the bug Bryan had placed a few days ago. Miller looked to Harper, both equally as shocked as Monty dropped the microphone into a bag.
“The bag blocks the signal.” Monty told them.
“Who put it there?” Miller asked although deep down he already knew.
“That’s not important. Pike just sentenced Y/N to death. Lincoln, Sinclair, and Kane too.” Bellamy looked distressed; all he could think about was prospect of losing you. Harper just scoffed.
“Are you trying to scare us?” she asked.
“We’re here to help. You’re going to get them out right? What can we do?”
Harper and Miller exchanged looks, not believing a word they were saying. “What are you talking about?” Harper feigned confusion.
“Look, we can help from the inside, but we need people to hand them off to on the outside.” Miller and Harper continued their act, making Monty and Bellamy mad as Bellamy groaned. “You know what, forget it. If my sister wants to save Lincoln’s life, you tell her to meet me at the dropship in an hour. But I’m not letting anything happen to Y/N.” Bellamy stormed out of the room, shaking his head and running a hand over his face, wiping away any look of his troubles. Monty called after him before turning to Harper.
“After everything we’ve been through, you don’t trust me?”
Harper bit the inside of her cheek, shaking the hair out of her to look at him. “Does your mother know you’re here Monty?”
Bellamy stood outside the dropship, hoping on everything his sister would show up. He heard the clopping of a horse as he spun around, relaxing at the sight of his sister. “Octavia.”
She went in for a hug, almost wrapping her arm around him before she plunged a syringe into his neck. Bellamy fell onto her, slowly falling to the ground. “Sleep well, big brother.” She said softly as she caught him.
Bellamy came to in a cave, Octavia and Indra were standing over him as his hands were locked in front of him. “It was a mistake to bring him here.” Indra told the younger girl.
Octavia sighed, looking down at Bellamy sat on the floor. “He was out the whole way. I searched him for bugs.”
“You think I’d let them hurt you?” Bellamy questioned, hoping Octavia would realize everything Bellamy would do was for her.
“You let them capture Y/N, didn’t you?” Bellamy was taken back, his mouth falling open as he looked at her.
“You waste time.” Indra interrupted them, looking towards Octavia. “You should be in their camp by now.” Octavia nodded, reaching to grab her things.
“Pike will be expecting you. You won’t be able to get close, but I can. We work together and we can save them!” Bellamy tried to explain but Octavia refused to look at him. “They’re going to execute her, Octavia. They’re going to kill her!”
Octavia finally looked at him, taking a step forward to stand over him. “You’re the reason she needs saving Bellamy. If she does die, her death will be on you.”
“O…” he whispered. He tried to ignore the part in him that agreed with her, knowing that if you did die, if he couldn’t save you, it’s his fault. “You need me.” His voice was small as Octavia shook her head.
“For the first time in my life, that’s not true.” She turned around, heading right out the cave entrance as Bellamy called out her name. He was worried, of course he was, if this doesn’t work, he hated the fact he couldn’t even say goodbye.
He messed up.
He should’ve chosen your side.
He messed everything up.
You leaned against the wall as you watched Lincoln talk to a man laid on the ground. He stood up, looking down at you as you chuckled. “Did you ever think that day you found me in the woods, that we’d be here?” Lincoln quirked a brow at you as you shook off the question with a smile, but Lincoln just joined you against the wall. “I’m sorry I couldn’t get Pike out of the camp.”
“That wasn’t on you. Your people, they think they’re doing the right thing.” He said as you scoffed.
“Yeah, you don’t need to tell me that. I couldn’t even get through to Bellamy.” You didn’t miss the way Lincoln sent you a smirk out the corner of your eye as you felt your cheeks heat up. “I swear Lincoln, if you say anything right now.”
“I wasn’t going to say anything.”
“Uh huh, sure you weren’t.” you joked before seeing the smirk on his face fall slightly. You knew just by the look on his face what he was thinking about. “You’re thinking about Octavia, aren’t you?”
Lincoln nodded solemnly as you looked up into the ceiling, staring at the crack in the wall and thinking about your best friend. You didn’t know if you were going to see her again, and that hurt. You watched across the cell as Kane who was previously let out to talk to Abby came back, much more depressed than he was before.
You left your spot next to Lincoln when the man caught his attention again. You headed over to sit on Kane’s side. His arms rested on his knee and you could see the brand of the coalition peaking out from his rolled-up sleeves. You took his arm, turning it over to run your fingers across it. Kane watched you, paying more attention to your soft facial expression than the mark. “Could’ve worked.” You told him, letting the pad of your thumb run right down the center.
“Death can be an act of unity. We don’t break. No fear. The people will remember.” He told you. You sighed, looking to give him a sad smile.
“So, you and Abby Griffin.” You spoke referring to the disappearance he made with the woman earlier.
“So, you and Bellamy Blake.” He backed as you let out a small scoff, hiding the frown you would’ve worn behind a forced smile.
“You’re going to die and she visited you. I don’t even know where Bellamy’s at.” You stared at the floor in front of you, gently picking up the toes of your feet only to press them back down and distract you. Kane eyed you, knowing you were giving up hope when your shoulders slacked, resting your head against the wall and your fingers still tracing his mark.
“Bellamy’s going to figure it out eventually. He’ll come back for you.” He argued.
You just remained still, not moving at all. “How can you be sure?”
“You love him.” You inhaled quickly as you looked anywhere but him. Kane, being ever so knowledgeable about your predicament, put a hand on your knee, pulling your attention back to him. “And I’m willing to bet he feels the same about you.”
You let a small scoff leave your lips. “And look where that got us. We’re about to be executed.” You heard Kane sigh next to you, yet he followed your words with none of his own. This wasn’t how you thought you were going to die, given you imagined it many ways, yet an execution never made the list. “Kane… I’m sorry.
His brows pulled together. “What are you sorry for?”
“For what I am. For what I became. My parents would be disappointed in me.” You let go of his arm but Kane didn’t move it as his sight remained locked on your face, downcast as you took a deep breath. “They always taught me to be strong. To not let others decide my fate, that I needed to make my own.”
“You are one of the strongest people I know Y/N.” He grabbed your hand, giving it squeeze.
“Then why wasn’t I enough for them?!” Your voice cracked as you looked at him with broken eyes. It was as if in the final moments before the guards come in you needed to be free from your feelings, you needed to know. “Why did you leave me?”
“Y/N, your parents. There’s something you don’t know.” He whispered as he wiped a tear off your face as you gasped quietly.
“W-what are you talking about?”
“Chancellor on deck!” Someone shouted as you both jumped to your feet, feeling Kane grab your arms and stare out at the guards. Lincoln spoke to the grounders as you scanned the room, feeling your heart plummet when you don’t see the brown eyes you so wanted.
“I told you, Bellamy’s not here.” You mumbled right before Pike shouted for everyone to back against the walls. You listened, following directions as you peaked over to Lincoln. His eyes pierced through the room, sending daggers straight at Pike who was walking over to you. You glared at Pike as he handcuffed your wrists, tightening them more than necessary as you hissed.
The four of you were led through the hallways in a line. This is it. You thought. I’m about to die. You followed behind Kane, seeing him look over his shoulder at you but you didn’t meet his eyes. You knew this would be easier if you didn’t.
“Make way!” Pike yelled one the halls as you watched your feet shuffle against the ground, barely picking them up.
“Yes sir, Mr. Chancellor.” Someone says as you immediately shoot your head up, seeing Harper stand off to the side. Her lips curl up slightly when she sees you and for the first time in 24 hours you think you might have a chance to live.
“Package is on the move. I repeat package is on the move.” She spoke into a microphone after you’ve passed to not get caught.
But it was all for naught as Monty and Hannah were listening in on her call. “She’s talking about the prisoners.” Hannah pointed out as Monty leaned forward on his knees, bouncing his leg getting his whole body to shake. “Whose voice is that?” Monty didn’t want to lie to his mother, but he knew he had to. He shook her head, motioning he had no idea. Harper came on the call again before another’s.
“We’re in position. Ready to intercept.”
“Octavia kom Skaikru.” Hannah said when she realized the second voice belong to the girl. You heard Hannah’s voice come over the radio on Pike, telling him Octavia was here. You held back a gasp, knowing how much more trouble you could be in if Pike knew you were a part of this whole thing, you’d be in even more trouble than you could imagine.
Pike ordered you all to your knees and you obliged, feeling the nerves get to you. Pike scowled at you as he talked to Hannah over the radio. “Can you confirm a location?”
“Negative, sir.”
Bryan stepped up to Pike. “Sir, we can assume her friends already told her where were talking them. We shouldn’t move until we know the route’s secure.” Bryan told him as Pike nodded, finding an empty room just in front of him. He assured you all into the room, telling two men to stand by the door.
“Anyone comes out of there, shoot to kill. Anyone enters this corridor, one warning then shoot to kill. Everyone else, on me.” The guards nodded as they took positions, two of them staying with the four of you. The moment you were seated on the ground you looked to Kane; his mouth was upturned into a little smirk. You raised a brow at him before he mouthed ‘I told you so’. Your smirk then matched his.
Bellamy was still handcuffed in the cave, leaning against the wall as he clenched his fists. “Indra please. Pike tripled his security; he’ll see her coming.”
“Good. We’re counting on that.”
Bellamy just groaned. “He still trusts me. If anything goes wrong, we can use that.” He tried to tell her as Indra stood up to tower over him.
“I’ve seen where that trust came from. The battlefield where you massacred my brothers and sisters.” She snapped at him.
“Should I have let him kill you?”
“Why didn’t you?”
“Same reason you haven’t used that sword on me.”
She tilted her chin in the air, staring down at the boy. “Octavia.” Bellamy nodded, pleading one last time for release over the fact Octavia could die at Arkadia. “Then Octavia kom Skaikru will die the warrior’s death you denied me.”
Pike took his guards towards the hanger bay, they kept their guns in their hands, ready to shoot anyone threatening their safety. “Same drill!” He ordered as the guards separated. “Watch for blind spots.”
“Sir, the hangar’s secure.”
Pike wasted no time in pulling out his radio. “Unit 4 come in. Unit 4 what’s your status?” He asked again after a few minutes of silence. “Are the prisoners secured?” Still nothing came through as they left the hangar, running down the halls to get back to you all. They reached your door, seeing the two guards laying on the ground unconscious. Pike stepped past the guards on the floor, letting everyone care for them as he stepped into the room you were supposed to be in.
“Damn it!” He yelled out as the room was empty, not a trace of you all to be seen. “We did exactly what they wanted us to do.” He mumbled as he turned around to the others. “It won’t happen again.”
The left the room, a few seconds later the floorboards moving out from their spots as the five of you clamber out. You wore a relieved smile on your face as Kane helped you to your feet. “Bit right down there.” He said soon as you were all out and Octavia was unlocking his handcuffs.
Octavia just glared at him and scoffed. “Try doing it for 16 years.” She snapped. Kane was taken back as the tension in the air thickened. She turned to you, her glare still locked on Kane as she undid your own bounds.
“Hey.” You tapped Octavia on the shoulder, getting her to look at you. When she did, you wrapped your arms around her, bringing her in for a tight hug she returned. “Thank you for saving us.” You mumbled into her ear.
“Couldn’t let you suffer for my brother’s mistakes.” She replied before pulling away, seeing her boyfriend standing behind you. You watched them embrace, thankful they’d get many more. Abby came in the door as you went on alert, ready in case a guard decided to stop by.
“Abby… I told you not to do this.” Kane spoke in a hushed voice to her, asserting his authority as you watched carefully.
“Why would I start listening to you now?” You chuckled at the woman’s defiance. She was just like Clarke.
Harper’s voice was the one to break up the reunions this time as she informed you all of the numerous guards blocking your exit.”Stay put.”
“They’re trapped.” Hannah told Monty as they continued to eavesdrop on your radio calls. Monty didn’t look at her, wasting only a beat before grabbing their radio.
“Attention all guards. Calling all guards. The prisoners are headed for the main gate. The prisoners are headed for the main gate! Over!” He shouted as his mom stared on in shock at him.
“Monty, what are you doing?”
For the first time during their spy work, he turned to his mother and looked her in the eye. “I’m saving my friends.”
You looked around the room all equally confused. “Was that Monty?” You asked through the silence.
“Guess he’s with us after all.” Miller said with a shake of his head. You couldn’t help the way your heartbeat leaped. If Monty was helping then maybe Bellamy…
“Pike will figure it out.” Kane asked, bringing you back to your senses. Abby brought her hand up to comfort Kane’s arm.
“We don’t know that.” She assured him.
You shook your head, moving to look outside in the now empty hallway. “What we do know is we have to leave.” Everyone followed your lead out of the room, Octavia running ahead of you to show you the plan’s route.
Monty stayed in his seat after his little radio call. His mom on the other hand was pacing back and forth behind him. “Your friends are traitors!” She yelled.
“Then I guess I’m one too.” There was no doubt in Monty’s mind if he had to do it all over he would help you again, but next time he would be on the correct side from the beginning.
“How many men do we have on the gate?” Pike asked them as he barged into their roomHannah looked to her son, seeing him stand up for what he believed in as she sighed.
“Sir, we just got word. It was another false report.”
“Put this camp on lockdown.” He growled to the two guards behind him.
Octavia led you all to a hatch where Harper waited. The moment she saw you she smiled, pulling you in for a hug before dashing through the hatch. You stepped back, letting everyone go before you until Lincoln, Octavia, Kane, Abby and you were left. “Ok, Abby you’re next.” Kane said as he motioned for her to enter.
Abby just shook her, taking a step back. “I’m not going. They need someone to show them out of the darkness. Besides-“ her speech was cut short when Kane put his hand on the side of her face, pulling her flush against himself and kissing her. Your eyes went wide as you looked away, wanting to give Kane the privacy he deserved. You met Octavias eyes across the room and she smirked at you before going back to lookout. “May we meet again.” Kane told Abby when they finished kissing.
“We will.”
You listened for the sound of Abby making her way through the out the door by Lincoln before you finally turned around, seeing a slight dusting of blush on Kane’s face. “Go on.” He said to you, motioning to the hatch. You patted him on the back as you began to climb on through, only to be stopped by the sound of Pikes voice on Octavia’s radio.
“I have a message for the traitors in this camp. There will be an execution. Either turn yourselves in or the other grounder prisoners will die in your place.” You jumped out of the hatch, trying to figure out what to do.
Someone was going to die today.
“Let’s go.” Octavia said, giving Lincoln and you a slight push. You nodded wearily as you grabbed on the wall but Lincoln didn’t listen to Octavia. He was going to save his people. “Lincoln please!
“I can’t let them die because of me. Go.”
Octavia continued to plead and you joined in, not wanting to lose your friend. “I know what you’re feeling, but they’re searching the station. We have to go.”
“Go.” Lincoln repeated himself but you still shook your head.
“They‘ll kill you Lincoln.” It felt like you were screaming but to Kane and Lincoln your voice was small, trying not to waver as you bid your friend goodbye. Lincoln just smiled down at you, pulling you in for a hug as you shut your eyes tight, trying to wrap your arms around him.
“Take care of her.” He asked you, looking at a teary-eyed defiant Octavia as you nodded softly, sucking in a deep breath to keep yourself from joining her. “May we meet again Y/N.” He pulled away earlier than you wanted him to as you dropped your head, feeling tears prickle the side of your eyes as Kane put his hand on your shoulder.
You threw yourself into his arms, burying your face in the crook of his neck as he rubbed your back. You turned right back into that little girl who watched her parents float themselves, running to Kane for comfort.
“I’m going with you.” Octavia told him. “Oso throu daun ogeda.”
We fight together.
Lincoln smiled down at Octavia, bringing a hand up to caress her face. “I love you.” He whispered to her but you heard it, the feeling striking you on the gut hard. He pulled her into a kiss and while she was distracted, took the opportunity to sneak a hand into her satchel and pull out syringe, injecting it into her neck.
“No…” she mumbled as she fell unconscious. Lincoln lifted her into the air as you stepped back from Kane, letting him carry her.
“What are you doing?” Kane asked.
Lincoln looked down at his girlfriend sorrowfully. “Same thing you'd do for your people. Just get her out of here.” Kane nodded, taking the girl through the hatch as you let him, risking one last glance to Lincoln.
“Ste yuj, Lincoln.” You told him as you lent up to kiss his cheek, giving him one last smile.
Stay strong.
“You too.” He told you before watching you disappear into the hatch. He fixed the door, removing any evidence you were there before heading out of the room, right into the hands of Pike and the guards.
Somehow in Polis, everything was getting even worse. Ontari cheated the conclave, killing all the Natblidas in their sleep. Everyone was confused when the fight supposedly ended, and when they found out what happened, Clarke was scared. Ontari would in no way protect your people. Roan, in honor of Lexa sparing his life, tried to get Clarke and Murphy out of Polis, but Clarke refused to leave without the flame, the one physical connection to Lexa she has left. The flame was pulled out of Lexa after her death, it contained all the past commanders and shall be placed inside the next Heda. Which should’ve been Ontari, but Clarke remembered something Lexa had told her.
Another Natblida was left from Lexa’s conclave, a girl who ran. Titus told Clarke her name was Luna and Clarke knew Lincoln talked of a Luna once and figured it was the same girl. She took the flame from Titus with the promise of bringing Luna back as a commander. Clarke left Polis, leaving Murphy in the hands of Ontari. Titus, the only person able to perform the ascension confronted Ontari with Roan during the purification process. He told them he provided the flame for Clarke to take but wouldn’t tell them where. Ontari, angered at Titus’ defiance ordered Titus’ death, but Murphy reminded her she needed him. Titus, at the knowledge Ontari wouldn’t let him die, took the knife Roan had held and slit his own throat, killing himself. Ontari was outraged, she was going to be the new commander and Titus stopped her plans. No one outside of the room and Clarke knew Ontari wasn’t the commander, so she came up with a plan.
She was going to fake it.
Bellamy was going crazy in the cave. He didn’t think it would take this long unless something happened. No matter what he couldn’t get the feeling something happened out of his head. He sat up at the sound of horns seeming to come from Polis.
“Heda.” Indra whispered as Bellamy looked at her confused.
“What is it?”
“A new commander has risen.” Bellamy was on his feet as he watched Indra grab her things, getting ready to leave.
“And you go running?” She ignores him as she continued moving. “Well maybe, this time, Octavia will get it, your loyalty will always be with your people.”
“Octavia is my people.” She snapped at him over her shoulder.
“Then take these chains off me and we can help them together.” He hoped he was getting through to her and for a second he was, but Indra sighed, looking out into the forest with a shake of his head.
“Tell them I’m sorry.” She said before running out of the cave, leaving Bellamy alone.
You didn’t say a thing as you left the camp, not sparing a glance at anything besides the ground beneath your feet. “Lincoln.” You beard mumbled next to you from Octavia laid on a horse. You made no move to let her know you heard her and half of you suspected it was just in your head. She started to roll off before you looked up at her, helping her weak body off the horse. Octavia was stumbling as she looked for a clearing, finding one just in front of you that overlooked Arkadia. You joined her after a minute of needing to know what was happening. But the air was sucked out of your body at the sight of Lincoln kneeling on the ground in a mud puddle with Pike standing in font of him with a gun in hand. You knew it was coming but knowing it didn’t hurt any less. You felt Kane’s hand on your back, seeing him clutch Octavia out of the corner of your eyes but you paid him no mind, your eyes never leaving the scene playing out in front of you all.
Pike promised Lincoln his people would be cared for. Not free, but cared for. “Lincoln of Trikru, you have been sentenced to death by the rights of the Exodus charter. Any last words?” He asked your friend mere seconds away from being executed. Lincoln just stuck his head up in the air.
“Not for you.” Pike slowly brought the gun up, pointing it at Lincoln’s head. Lincoln slowly turned to look up, catching sight of Octavia above him. “Meibi oso na hit choda op nodotaim.”
May we meet again.
You could hear Octavia whimper next to you but still you stayed silent and stoic, your head screaming but the only moment occurring on your outside be the twitch of a finger. You counted the seconds in your head until this was all over, pleading that somehow Lincoln won’t be shot. Maybe Pike would come to his senses, or one of the guards, or even Bellamy coming to your rescue and stopping Lincoln’s execution.
1… 2…
Gunshots.
A/N: Long chapter, oh my. Also when this episode aired I was absolutely devastated because I LOVED Lincoln, Ricky Whittle was so amazing in his role. I think I cried for a while tbh... well, tell me what you think!
