Mercenary's wolf

Hey, everyone! I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm participating in @teenwolfrarepairevents July event with the following pairings: Day 1: Braeden/Laura Day 2: Scott/Lydia Day 3: Kali/Julia (Jennifer) Day 4: Camden/Laura Day 5: Jordan/Sheriff Day 6: Hayden/Tracy Day 7: Nolan/Brett Day 8: Coach Finstock/Greenberg (in the future) I'm posting the first one (Braeden/Laura - role reversal) here as well, below the cut. "Come on. Try it."

Curls of dark hair frame the creature's face where canine teeth shine white and threateningly sharp in the moonlight, and Laura twirls the combat knife idly around her finger before taking it firmly into hand. The creature's eyes assess the weapon with mild curiosity.

"Nice. But mine are better." Claws pop out at the words, and they would serve well as a warning if not for their owner looking at the ravine behind her with poorly hidden despair. Laura eyes the bleeding wound in the werewolf's calf and estimates her survival to be 10 minutes 'til the poison would ultimately overpower the creature's advanced healing. Running would still be futile, even if the creature had any escape routes available.

"My client wants you alive," Laura stresses, but like any other time, the other woman just wouldn't listen.

"You mean he wants to kill me with his own hands," Braeden corrects. 

Laura can't help the way her eyes trail over the claw marks running across the woman's neck - an impressing reminder from an alpha that he has claim over Braeden, no matter how far she ventures from home.

"What Deucalion plans to do with you isn't my concern," Laura frankly states, "But he might keep you alive if you are willing to cooperate."

"That man is anything but merciful," Braeden reiterates the same old argument while throwing a glance at the ravine as if to guess the distance below. "None of his mercenaries has succeeded before. What makes you think you're special?"

"I found you," Laura points out, eyes gleaming, "And now you have two options. Take a leap and hope you don't fall to your death... or fight me."

Braeden pretends to mull her options over, but Laura knows her better than to hope for sensibility. 

"The second one sounds fun," Braeden finally says and Laura smiles at her predictability.

She pounces with a swift slash of her knife but Braeden ducks from the attack, poison still hindering the werewolf if the pained grunt she lets out when jumping over the mercenary is anything to go by. Laura swings back on instinct and manages to cut the werewolf's palm who growls with the new doze of poison in her veins. Using Braeden's distracted state, Laura tugs on her hair and kneels the werewolf into the stomach before Braeden gathers her bearings and trips her over, smashing the mercenary's head hard into the ground. Laura's vision is blurry when Braeden makes a run towards the cliff, and strangely enough, Laura hopes that she makes the jump.

Braeden looks majestic as she soars over the deep crack in the ground and lands on the other side with a complacent smirk tossed over her shoulder. She's limping as she disappears into the dense forest, probably not as delusional to think she's gotten away for good. Laura fights past her swimming vision as she fishes her phone out of her jacket and types out a quick message, strands of hair gripped tight between her fingers.

Got her DNA. Your location spell better be worth its price.

The darkness is hindering but Laura wouldn't be a professional mercenary if she couldn't discern her target's form in a dim abandoned warehouse. Braeden's kneeling in a circle of mountain ash with three hunters looming over her, cackling like some cheaply animated villains, as they take turns shooting wolfsbane-laced arrows into the were's tortured body. Laura is strictly here for business, but even she can admit to herself that she'll have fun gutting them all.

She approaches the scene with light steps, quiet like a predator on a hunt, and creeps up behind one of the hunters with a knife grazing his throat and making the man huff in his struggles. His accomplices finally tear their gaze away from Braeden's hunched form and one of them immediately drops the crossbow to pull a gun on Laura. She's quick to slice the man's throat then and she uses the makeshift shield to dodge the bullets from the hunter before tossing the body towards the gun-bearing man. She manages to duck away from the third hunter and grab the crossbow, aiming it at the man shrugging off his friend's corpse and piercing an arrow through his skull without hesitation. Laura then wrestles with the last standing woman until a direct blow to the head knocks her out, and finally buries a bullet between her eyes with the man's gun. Just to make sure there are no witnesses.

With the hunters eliminated, Laura retrieves the jar of wolfsbane from their bag and deposits it among her own gear. She needed to replenish her stock anyway. Next, she crosses the circle and lays Braeden's wavering body on the ground, ignoring the quiet growls that the werewolf so ungratefully addresses her with. Laura pulls out each arrow and burns the wolfsbane from the contaminated flesh, the sight infuriating enough that the hunter doesn't even relish in Braeden trashing helplessly under her hold. When the last trace of wolfsbane has been cleared from the werewolf's system, Laura stands up with a sigh and breaks the mountain ash circle on her way out.

"Didn't know mercenaries were this caring."

Laura wonders how Braeden is even capable of talking right now as she grabs her own supplies, already wondering where she could hide the bodies, and guesses that the other woman is simply fueled by spite.

"As I've said, I need you alive," Laura repeats, looking over her shoulder to where Braeden is slowly getting up to her feet.

"You didn't need to kill them."

"I hate it when others play with my toy."

Laura expects Braeden to growl at the implication of her being in anyone's possession, but surprisingly, Braeden just looks calculating and perhaps a bit satisfied as she recuperates. "Thanks."

"You have an hour headstart," Laura tells her in response, and Braeden scoffs in something akin to amusement before exiting the building.

Meanwhile, Laura takes a look at the bodies and prepares herself to dig.

"He hurt you." It's more of a statement than a question. 

Braeden drags her eyes over the scars stretching across Laura's face, and for the first time, Laura feels self-conscious. 

"If you're worried about my safety, maybe you should finally let me take you to him," Laura remarks, even if her words have long lost their bite, "He's getting impatient."

For some nebulous reason, she decides that Braeden can't know that Deucalion has threatened to hunt down her family - well, what is left of it, anyhow. There's a chance Braeden will give herself up - you gather that much about someone after chasing them for half a year - and even the thought of that makes Laura's lunch want to resurface.

"Why are you still doing this?"

Braeden's eyes are filled with more concern than any werewolf should ever have for a hunter sent to deliver their pelt. Laura hates everything about this situation, but mostly, she feels betrayed by how fast her heart starts to beat all of a sudden.

"Girl's gotta eat."

"Yeah, but you gotta live first to do that." Braeden jibes, and her look of utter fear is not as new as Laura wants to make herself believe. It's been there for a while, and never for the werewolf's own sake. 

She raises a gun on Braeden without any intention to pull the trigger, and tries to recall when it all changed. The way Braeden's face crumbles is heartbreaking but necessary. It has to be.

"I don't want to hurt you," Braeden says, and it sounds a lot like a plea. 

The werewolf's eyes flash blue for a second, but it's not a threat, not anymore. It's a visceral reaction to the scars marring the mercenary's flesh, and after such an impossible realization, Laura can no longer hold control over what comes out of her mouth next.

"But you want to mark me." Laura's accusation is loud, bouncing off the walls of the empty subway tunnel. "Want to sink your teeth into me, isn't that right?"

Braeden bares her canines on instinct, eyes squinting in irritation, but Laura catches the way her nose flairs. Sometimes it's so easy to read her.

"You're the one with an obsession."

Laura doesn't even attempt to deny that. 

"I'll tell you a secret, Braeden. I actually like wolves." She's forcing her heartbeat to stay steady now as her feet carry her forward. "But now the only thing I see is prey."

There's a moment of silence that stretches on dangerously. In the end, Braeden's mouth twitches at the sides and Laura knows she's busted. 

"I'm not the one always running for my life."

"You run from me."

"I run for you," Braeden clarifies, daring to step forward and let the barrel of the gun bump against her chest, "I run so that I won't hurt you. And so that you get further away from him."

Laura feels weirdly trapped, and yet, she recognizes an opportunity when it's presented to her, even when wrapped in the shape of an impossibility offered blatantly and with undeserved kindness. Deep down, Laura knows that the woman offering salvation is one who would try to shelter her from the world as well as drench her claws in the blood of whoever sets out to hurt them. When Braeden wraps her hands around Laura's wrist, it feels like a finality.

"You've got enough money to ditch him," Braeden reasons, eyes mad with hope. Laura isn't sure if she should trust someone like that, but she's also aware that it's too late now. "He can't find you."

"He will send someone after me." 

It's a truth they both know from experience, but unlike Braeden, Laura can't lull herself into false security. That's why when Braeden's lips curl into a deadly smile, Laura doesn't understand how her heart can flutter so violently against all logic.

"I think some of his enemies would take great pleasure in hunting him down. Alongside us."

"Us?" And it's obvious wishfulness in her voice, but Laura has gone so long without a future to hang onto and there's something about Braeden that makes her feel like they can face anything together. 

All this time, and it's been Braeden poisoning Laura, not the other way around.

The werewolf guides Laura's hand lower until the gun is at her side with Braeden's fingers still warm on her wrist and eyebrows lifting in challenge. "Two women with wolfsbane-laced arrows who can kick ass? I say we have a shot against him." Braeden pauses for a second then, looks to the side and presses her touch deeper into Laura's skin. "I'll protect you." 

Braeden is promising much more than those few words would suggest, Laura knows that from the way the werewolf seeks out her pulse point - a primal urge for affirmation that her pack is safe. 

They are standing face to face in an abandoned subway tunnel and the glint in Braeden's eyes when she raises her questioning gaze at the mercenary is the most thrill Laura has felt in a while.

"What do you say?" Braeden leers around the tease of her fangs, "Wanna make a deal, mercenary?"

The grin Laura sends back is nothing short of wolfish.

"Go back to school." Derek says as Boyd. Isaac and Julia show up at his place.

"Well actually we can't. Boyd, Julia , and I are incredibly and unbelievably sick." Isaac tells him as Derek then says with brain damage.

"Well, I have a migraine, Julia is throwing up, and Boyd here has explosive diarrhea." Isaac points at them so Boyd explain his plan to Derek.

"So why is Julia here if this plan can kill her if something goes wrong?" Derek asks as Boyd lets the water run.

"We did think that." Boyd says looking over at her sitting on the table looking at what Stiles texted her about Deaton.

"I'll be fine if I stay out of the water. And the third person taken was Deaton so Scott and Stiles are trying to find him before it's too late." She lets them know.

"You should go help them." Derek tells her.

"How am I supposed to help? I just predict and know when death happens." She tells him as Stiles texts Julia saying they needed her help finding Deaton since she can seek out supernatural things.

Julia: Just get Lydia to try to do it. It will give her some practice into what we are. I'm busy helping the others.

Stiles: Fine, you're such a pain!

Once the room had enough water Boyd threw the line into it, "Is this gonna kill them?" Isaac asks looking at the water.

"I hope so."

"You feel anything?" Derek looks over at Julia.

"You mean death wise?" She asks him, "Not so sure yet." She closes her eyes to pass the time. "Hey, isn't the light on that supposed to be on?" Julia point out after some time.

"Yeah." Derek says not happy.

"What does it mean if it's not." Isaac asks him. "Derek, what do we do now?" Isaac takes Julia's hand into his.

"We fight." He makes his eyes red and the boys get behind him while Julia stays off to the side as the alphas show up.

She wondered what she would have to do to get him alone so Aiden and Ethan enter holding Jennifer. Kali says that the fight will be between her and Derek with no interference or the twins will tear Jennifer apart. Derek sends Isaac and Boyd away.

"I'm going to rip your throat out with my teeth." Derek says leaping at her.

Julia texts Cora letting her know the plan didn't work since they cut the power and now Derek was fighting Kali alone.

"Now." Isaac picks Julia up running through the water before the electricity came back on.

Once they get to Ms. Blake he goes to protect her while Julia watches as Boyd is thrown into the fray by the surging current. Kali and Derek both go down from the shock.

"BOYD!" Julia screams his name getting the bad feeling as Kali is the first to recover and orders the twins to grab Derek and hold him with his hands cupped while Kali lifts Boyd up and drops him onto Derek's claws.

Since Julia screamed his name so loudly, Stiles and the others could hear her from where they were, "That means only one thing." He sighs as Cora and him take off running so Lydia follows.

Cora runs past Julia, who was just standing there because she knew she couldn't do anything and wish she felt it earlier. Stiles rubs her back before going over to Derek. When Lydia gets to the doorway she looks at her sister just standing there before turning to leave.

It's been a few days since Boyd was killed and Derek went MIA and Julia and Stiles learned more about Derek's past from Peter when they were younger. Julia still felt that she could have stopped Body from dying so she's been awful quite around most people.

At the moment she was at school alone at night because she had a the instinct that she was finally used to. There she found Tara lying on top of the school name.

Not much longer the other four show up because Lydia called them saying she's experiencing the same thing as the pool. None of them saw Julia or the dead body until Scott walks a few feet away from the group, "Guys, Julia found the dead body."

"What?" Stiles rushes over to see her standing there just looking at Tara. "Julia!" He calls out for her so she turns to face them.

"It's Tara, Stiles." She walks over to join them.

"What?" He looks behind her.

"I just called it in so your dad will be here soon with the others."

Later in the day at school during class, Julia didn't pay attention since she was drawing in her notebook. She was so zoned into what she was doing she didn't pay attention to Stiles and Scott talking.

After class the three of them go look for Ethan while Lydia distracts Aidan. "Why are you even talking to me? I helped kill one of your friends. How do you know I won't kill anyone." Ethan says looking at Stiles.

"Is he looking at me? Are you threatening me? You know what I'm going to do. I'm gonna break off an extra-large branch of mountain ash, wrap it in wolfsbane and roll it in mistletoe and shove it up your freaking-," Julia stops Stiles from going on.

"We get it." She pats his chest.

Ethan tells them the story him and Aidan. That they had been Omegas within a pack. They were badly abused by their Alpha and their pack mates who Ethan claims were all brutal killers. Stiles wanted to know why the twins didn't just become Voltron Wolf and fight back, but Ethan explains that they didn't know how to do that back then. He explains that they owe fealty to Deucalion because he helped them develop their innate ability to merge their forms. That they were then able to kill their oppressors one by one, saving their Alpha for last. Ethan explains to Scott that all of the Alpha Pack's original emissaries, with the exception of Deucalion's, are dead.

Ethan suddenly seized by a sharp pain in his chest saying he is feeling the damage that Aiden is having. They all run to the locker room and Scott and Ethan stop Aiden from killing Cora.

Cora tells them she had to do something since they weren't expect finding the bodies before leaving. Stiles and Julia look at each other before following Cora to make sure she gets home okay. On the way taking Cora home, Allison calls Stiles saying he had to tell his dad literally everything.

At Stiles' house he paces his room back and forth with his dad in the room with him, Cora, and Julia trying to figure out how to explain everything to him. He comes up with using the chess board to show how he's never seen the whole board before.

"Scott and Derek are werewolves? And Kate argent was a werewolf?" Noah asks.

"Hunter." Julia corrects him.

"That's- Purple's Hunter." Stiles adds.

"Along with Allison and her father." Cora adds.

"Yeah, and-and my father Deaton. The veterinarian is a Kanima?" Noah says so Stiles is explains what Deaton is.

"So who's the Kanima?" Noah asks confused.

"Jackson."

"No, Jackson's a werewolf." Noah points out.

"Jackson was the Kanima first and then Peter and Derek killed him and he came back to life as a werewolf. Now, he's in London." Julia explains to him.

"Who's the Da-rack?"

"It's Da-rock." Stiles corrects him.

"We do t know yet." Cora tells Noah.

"We don't know yet." Stiles and Julia say pointing at Cora at the same time.

"Bug he was killed by werewolves?"

"Slashed up and left for dead." Stiles answers.

"We think." Julia adds causing Noah to sigh.

"Why was Jackson the Kanima?"

"Cause sometimes the shape that you take reflects the person that you are." Stiles explains.

"And what shape would an increasingly confused and angrier-by-the-second father take?" Noah looks at his son.

"That would be more of the expression on your face right now." Julia points knowingly this wasn't working.

"Yeah." Noah gets up.

"Dad-dad, would you- I can prove it, okay? Look, she's one of them. A werewolf." Stiles tries to get his dad to listen to him but it doesn't work since Cora passes out.

"Call an ambulance." Noah tells Stiles so he does so while Julia stays with Noah and Cora.

Cora ends up getting a hospital room while Stiles and Julia wait and get a call from Scott saying that these sacrifices are teachers. Even still at the hospital Stiles tries to get his dad to listen to him but Noah still doesn't believe it. Stiles and Julia leave the hospital to get to the school to try to stop the third teacher from getting killed.

"Hey, where is my sister?" Julia notices as soon as they get to Scott.

"What?" Scott looks around.

"Where did she go?" Julia panics rushing outside yelling for Lydia, "Scott can you sense her?" Julia looks around.

"She's not answering her texts." Stiles looks at his phone.

Julia panics looking around before letting out a shriek causing Scott to cover his ears and Stiles. "Julia..." Stiles looks at her as she starts to rush off so he follows her then Scott does the same knowing where she was going.

Scott has of course runs past her and as she and Stiles gets to the door Jennifer blocks the door so they can't get in. And by the time they do Jennifer disappeared with Noah.

"Lydia!" Julia rushes over to help her get free.

"So we really are Banshee..." Lydia just stares at her.

"Yes, we are."

Julia takes Lydia to Allison so she can go help the guys tell Derek about Jennifer. When she gets there she plays dumb but Scott uses mistletoe to prove it. Jennifer tells Derek she was the only person who could save Cora.

They all head to the hospital but Stiles and Julia still had a bad feeling about things going on because of how Jennifer had a look in her eyes.

"What's that?" Scott sees Stiles with a bat.

"Well, you got claws. I got a bat."

"What about me?" Julia asks.

"Just stay behind us." Stiles tells her.

As they all get out of the elevator Peter is thrown through doors saying they had a big problem and it was the twins. Both werewolves go at Ethan and Aidan and Julia spots Cora on the ground, "She's our job." She rushes over to Stiles gets Peter to help them.

"Stiles! What are you doing?" Julia sees him to go stand by the door. He uses the bat on the twins but it breaks, "Now get your ass over here." She tells him as they run off.

They all hold up in a room and the guys talk to Ms. Blake as she shows up. As they talk, Scott moms comes through the sound system saying Deucalion wanted Jennifer in ten minutes.

While Derek takes Cora to the ambulance with Stiles, Julia, and Jenifer, Scott and Peter hold off the twins. Hearing Kail, Stiles shuts the ambulance doors while Derek and Jennifer run off.

"We're sitting ducks here without anything to protect us." Julia says with her eyes closed.

"They aren't after us at least."

"Stiles, She's not breathing." Julia notices Cora making him panic before performing mouth-to-mouth until she begins breathing on her own again.

Once she was stable, he says the next time he put his lips to her mouth she better be awake making Julia laugh at him, "Shut up." He glares at her.

"It's funny. And the situation we're in, I need a laugh." She sighs then sees him fidgeting with his hands so she takes one into hers, "We're gonna find you dad..." She says so he looks at her, "Alive. I know we will." She gives him a little smile, "I can't say I know for sure but I have a very strong feeling we will." She squeezes his hand then wipes his tears away with her free hand.

Stiles just stares at her with a million of thoughts running through his head before pulling her into a hug without saying a word. But he didn't need to say anything because Julia knew what he wanted to say just by how tightly he was hugging her.

They stop suddenly hugging when they heard growing outside the ambulance. Carefully looking they see the twins as one still so they lean back to stay out of view. Not much later they hear footsteps getting closer but it was just Scott with Peter. Stiles explains the two problems they have before Scott leaves them again.

"God I wish I was safe with Lydia right now."

"Honestly, yeah. I wish you were with her somewhere safe but no you choose to join Scott and I." Stiles agrees with her.

"I wanted to help so my bad." Julia rolls her eyes causing the two to quickly start to bicker while Peter watches them closely.

Scott texted Stiles saying that Isaac was going to pick them up to get Cora out of here. When they hear the car Julia opens the door jumping out first while Peter puts Cora in the car. "You get the front." Peter says running to get in the back on the other side.

"Stiles, come on." Julia says as he was looking at something.

"Stiles!" Isaac yells at him as he runs off so Julia takes runs to see what he put together and gets it herself running after him as Isaac yells for her too.

She catches up with Stiles so they rush after Scott to see him with Deucalion and he leaves they to go with him. Julia takes Stiles' hand into hers and he holds it tightly as they stand there alone till they go back to wake Derek up.

The three finally awake up back in the Vet's Clinic in their tubs of ice water. They excitedly relate their visions and the connections they all shared with the location of the Nemeton. They are informed by Deaton that they've been in the water for 16 hours and now have just 4 hours before moonrise.

Scott says he needs to go back to the Alpha Pack making Stiles say to him that's like saying that the deal with Deucalion sounds a lot like a deal with the devil. Scott is adamant though, he doesn't believe they can defeat Jennifer without the Alpha Pack leader help. Allison then tries to get Deaton to talk Scott out of his plan but Deaton balks. He says sometimes circumstances require you ally yourself with people you can't trust but can use to your advantage. In this case he believes Deucalion could be the bait for Jennifer right before Ethan arrives.

"I'm looking for Lydia."

"What do you want?" She asks him.

"I need your help."

"With what?" Julia asks him.

"Stopping my brother and Kali... from killing Derek."

They all decide to split up, Lydia going with Ethan, Stiles and Julia going to his house to find something of his dads, while Scott, Allison, and Isaac go the her place.

"I just want to say sorry that Lydia and I couldn't actually find where the Nemeton was. If we could, you three wouldn't have wasted so much time in the tubs." Julia says as they pull up to his house.

"You don't need to apologize, Jules." He gets out his phone calling Scott. "What do you want me to grab?" Stiles asks opening his dad's door. "How about his boxers? Sock?" He says picking up his dad's socks. "Okay, we'll meet you there." Stiles hangs up the phone pulling Julia back downstairs to his jeep.

As they drive to meet Scott and the others at the Beacon Hills Preserve the storm worsens around them. Stiles races through the rising wind making it hard to see in front of them.

"I get we're in a rush but Stiles this isn't safe." Julia holds onto the seat as a tree branch flies into the windshield causing Stiles to duck and turn to see what hit him. "STILES!" Julia yells making him turn back seeing there is a tree directly in their path with no time to stop. Stiles puts one arm out in front of Julia as they crash head on making them both black out.

Stiles gains consciousness first touching his head to see blood and groans in pain, "Julia..." He looks over at her with her head against the window still knocked out. "Julia, Julia!" He panics leaning over to wake her up.

"My head." She slowly wakes up reaching for her head.

"Don't touch it. It's bleeding like mine." He stops her.

"We have to go. Get your bat." Julia remembers what they were supposed to be doing getting out of the jeep and they run off to find them. "STILES! THERE!" Julia points at the ground that was sinking in and they run over to jumping in. "Use the bat!" Stiles shoves his aluminum bat under the collapsing beam shoring it up and giving them all some extra time. 

"I always said aluminum was better than wood." Noah says causing Stiles and his father embrace each other then Noah pulls Julia into the hug too.

When the storm stops they all let out a sigh of relief. Scott calls Stiles and he tells him when he comes to get them bring a ladder making the others laugh at him. Once he ends the phone call he looks at his dad again keeping Julia into his side.

"How did you two hurt your heads?" Noah asks Stiles looking at where they were bleeding

"Stiles decided to speed in a storm and wreak the jeep." Julia looks at him.

"I had a reason to speed." He says as she moves away from his dad. "How my head?" He tilts his head down so she could look at it.

"You won't need stitches."

"You won't need any either." He moves her hair to look at her head.

After everything at home, Julia was in her room watching tv in bed when Lydia wonders in getting into bed next to her. They both look at each other before giggling and linking their arms watching the movie.

"I miss this." Lydia rests her head on Julia's shoulder.

"Me too. I'm happy we're back to how we used to be." Julia rests her head on top of Lydia's.

"Can you give some advice?" Lydia asks not moving from how she was lying.

"With what?"

"What do I do about Aidan? I think I really do like him but everything he's done? He helped kill Boyd but when Kail wanted to kill me, he wouldn't allowed her to." Lydia sighs not knowing what to do.

"I say take it slow. He needs to realize he's made some bad choices and needs to work on being better. Earn your trust."

Lydia nods her head before sitting up looking back at Julia, "Now, my advice to you..." She smiles.

"Why do I need advice?" Julia laughs at her.

"Oh, come on, Julia. It was so obvious when you were helping Stiles with his panic attack. You two completely forgot I was even in the room with you during y'all's moment." Lydia gives her a look with such a huge grin, "You like Stiles, Julia."

"No, he's my friend, Lydia." Julia sits up shaking her head no.

"Your friend you have feelings for." Lydia sings.

Julia sighs putting her head down, "He'll never see me in that way as long as you are around, Lydia. You've always been so blind to how he's seen you since third grade." Julia tears up forcing a smile.

"Julia, I don't even know him like you do. I never paid any attention to him until getting dragged into the supernatural stuff. Trust me, he'll realize that you're the one at some point, not me." Lydia pulls Julia into a hug.

Going back to school, as the sisters walk in they see Aidan at Lydia's locker. Julia nudges her with a smile leave her to walk over to him. As Julia watches him try to talk to Lydia, Scott joins her side, "Are you rooting for them?" He asks her.

"Yeah, plus he's a lot nicer to her than Jackson was." Julia looks at Scott laughing before looking back forward to see Isaac and Allison laughing. "You good with them?" She asks him.

"She was the right person but the wrong time." He nods his head so Julia puts an arm around him.

"I'm sure you won't have trouble finding someone." She laughs as Stiles joins them. "My boys." Julia moves to the middle putting her arms around both of them.

"Your boys?" Stiles laughs.

"Fine, I'll go find some new boys." She lets go turning to walk around but Scott wraps his arms around her picking her up.

"Nope, we're your only boys."

It's been a couple of weeks since everything and it was currently a Friday night. Julia was at Stiles' house hanging out with him while they studied. At the moment they were waiting for Noah to get home with food.

"You know, the downside of everything being back to normal is having to focus only on school." Stiles closes his textbook.

"Even where shit isn't normal we still have to focus on school." Julia says writing notes down.

"Can we please stop now? It's nine o'clock at night. I think we have done enough studying." Stiles gets up snatching her notebook away from her.

"Dude, I have one paragraph to go." Julia whines.

"You can do it tomorrow."

"Ugh, I don't want to do work on a Saturday." She closes her textbook.

"But you'll do it on a Friday night?"

"Yeah..." She takes her notebook back to put away, "But now I'm not in the mood to finish thanks to you." She flips him off.

"Rude!" He throws one of his pillows at her that hits her in the face.

"Mieczysław Stilinski!" She yells his full name shocking him.

"You did not just say my full name?"

"Oh, but I did." She laughs at his face as she gets a text from Isaac asking about school work.

Stiles watches her giggle reading the text before texting back, "Who you texting?" He asks curiously.

"Just Isaac." She takes a seat still texting him.

"Why is he texting you this late?"

"Because he just is." She puts her phone away.

"Doesn't he like Allison?" Stiles crosses his arms so she looks at him confused.

"What?"

"He's texting you late at night but likes Allison." He says as Julia just stares at him.

"You're hanging out with me but you like Lydia." She says as Noah shows up calling out for them to eat, "He was just texting me about school work." She leaves his room.

"I'm not so sure about that anymore." Stiles says to himself before leaving his room as well.

The three eat at the table together chatting away and Noah even says Julia could stay the night since it was late and he didn't mind. Deep down the man just wanted her and his son to hurry up and get together. Noah loved Julia like a daughter and could tell how Stiles cared about her more than he did before.

"Oh, I don't know about that." Julia tells him.

"I don't mind. I'll lend you my bed and I'll sleep in the floor." Stiles says with his mouth full of curly fries.

"I can't do that, Stiles."

"Then just share the bed. It's big enough to have your own sides." Noah says getting up from the table finished.

"Our first sleepover." Stiles gets up finished as well while Julia stayed at the table not wanting to get up. How was she supposed to get rid of her feeling for him while sharing a bed with him.

For bed, Stiles gave Julia some of his clothes to sleep in so she was in the bathroom changing while he stared at his bed. He was nervous to share a bed with her. This was completely different than falling asleep on the bus next to each in the same seat.

"This shirt has a small hole in the armpit area just fyi." Julia walks into the room looking at her armpit then at him looking at her.

Once again he thought she looked adorable in his clothes since they were baggy on her, "Yeah, I hardly ever wear it. I'm scared I'll make it bigger." He laughs a bit.

"So you give me the shitty shirt, okay. Which side should I take?"

"I don't mind." He motions to the bed.

"Sure? I normally sleep on my right side of mine." She asks to make sure.

"Go ahead and take the right side." He gets on the left side laying down while she takes the right.

They both lay there on their sides awkwardly on their backs stiff as a board in the dark of the room. Stiles keeps his head straight but his eyes look over at Julia as he wanted to say something.

"So Lydia and Aidan?" Comes out of his mouth.

"Yeah, she wants to give him a chance since she likes him but she's worried to at the same time." Julia tells him the truth.

"Hopefully it works out."

Julia's head snaps towards him, "You're rooting for her with him?"

"I mean, he showed to change a bit at the end of everything. I see how she looks at him." Stiles looks over at Julia.

"Are you giving up on her?"

"It's one sided anyways. And it's not bad having her as a friend." He says finally being okay with it since he no longer was feeling those feelings for her anymore.

"Huh, now I can't do my thing with you anymore."

Stiles rolls over to face her, "Good, because that shit was annoying and I hated that you put yourself second."

Julia now rolls over to face him, "I did it just to mess with you since you had a thing for her."

"Well, I don't anymore so you have to come up with something new now." He smiles and she could see since it wasn't pitch black in his room.

"Can I ask what made you change your mind about her?"

"Just getting to actually become friends with her. I realized." Stiles slightly lies. Honestly what made him fully realize was when Julia helped stop his panic attack. That kiss to hold his breath did it for him. After that moment he realized he had feelings for the wrong sister.

"Well, I'm happy for you."

At some point they ended up falling asleep talking about things that were completely random and didn't have anything in common. Stiles ends up waking up at two in the morning and realizing he was spooning Julia. His eyes widen as he slowly moves to put his back to her.

"I was comfy, dude." Julia looks back at him.

"You knew we were cuddling?"

"I woke up like 30 minutes ago and didn't care." She rolls over to spoon him now, "Is this uncomfortable for you?" She asks tired wanting to go back to sleep, "You aren't answering so I'll take that as a no." She cuddles into his back as her arm was hug him, "For skin and bones, you comfy." She mumbles.

Stiles takes a minute processing what was happening then slowly takes her hand into his intertwining them as he hold her hand close to his chest, "We don't speak about this to nobody."
