so i downloaded twine because i thought they, making an interactive novel would be fun. still thinking about making that but in the meanwhile to play around with learning twine i decided to make a jedi lineage... with currently 42 characters. it all started with beader, the bunny rabbit jedi

ill probably incorporate some of them in a heavy burden to carry, a prequel sw fic im working on

anyways my current favorites are caskyl sopake, a togruta padawan who isnt accepted by most togruta because of his name which means that hes an exiled one. is really good at tracking, training to be a jedi shadow. he and his master, vonde rent, usually use bountyhunters as their cover. instead of a headdress, he wraps ribbons around his montrals and also someof the ribbons flutter on the side of his face as kind of a nod to his padawan braid. whenever he returns to the temple, he puts a chain of bells and beads in his ribbon-strands which jingles when he walks. arya rahl is an angsty little sephi padawan whos struggling after getting caught up humanitarian conflict. for two months she was part of the group of refugees fleeing from rising waters on a world with massive climate change. it was partially orchestrated by some darksider that she got into a fight with where she lost her left eye. she's like the cutest little gorl but she's so angry all the time. loves pink, has a pink lightsaber, will cuss you out. she's not full sephi so her white hair has a slight iridescence to it and when sunburnt, she gets pink "freckles". currently she wears her hair in short haircut with bangs covering her left eye. has a little butterfly skirt galleb mard is a beskalisk jedi padawan who loves blasters and weaponry so much. they feel like their faking it being a jedi because of the fact no other jedi they know likes blasters and uses them as weapons. will deny that they like blasters to everyone but refuses to have anyone ever enter their rooms ever. best friend with the engineers and quartermasters. will do their absolute best to pick up at least one new blaster per mission

navra prikin, a fairly old iridonian zabrak padawan who is just at this point refusing to become a knight because her master has jedi dementia. master saum is at this point constantly forgetful and navra is often taking care of writing mission reports, making sure they eats and everything. she knows she should let the healers know of their condition but she doesnt want to take away saum's ability to travel the galaxy, which they love doing. she is a shien user, with a blue blade. she loves plants and often takes detailed notes on ecology and botany for the agricorps while on missions. her most hated mission was when she had to serve as the protector for some newlywed royals but essentially she was playing therapist between them.

i hate read some recent blogs and i can’t believe the amount of heterophobia that runs rampant in that god awful cult circle. they literally hate straight afabs to the core of their beings, just because some afabs want to be in relationship with men. like hello that’s a fucking sexuality and if afab wants to have sex with them that shouldn’t be an issue. you people are just bitter, jealous, and probably ugly as hell.

Sometimes the only thing you can do is be sad while trying not to nuke your entire internet presence.

Sometimes you have friends to remind you that you won't always feel this way.

Sometimes you won't understand why, and that's okay.

Sometimes making it through the day without destroying yourself is the accomplishment.

I don't understand why people want to read my writing, and... I guess I'm going to have to learn to be okay with that. I don't have to understand everything. I just have to accept it, and be thankful that I have such good friends.

I think it’s time I address what is by far the BIGGEST assumption much of the fandom has made about Ruby’s and Yang’s parents:

That Raven was just the shitty parent who abandoned her daughters, and that Summer and Tai were the uncomplicated GOOD parents who made the good choices. And Qrow was the well-meaning fuckup who’s been able to improve.

When the reality is that ALL of Team STRQ were in fact well-meaning but  MASSIVE fuckups in each their own way.

Like if nothing else, they all bailed on Ruby and Yang in one way or another (Raven and Summer physically, Tai emotionally/psychologically for several years, Qrow a bit of both)

And I have a good feeling that the Vacuo arc will be when Ruby and Yang will finally have to address that shit.

“Your place is so cool!” Kali said.

She sat side by side with Mason and Arvin in the latter’s apartment in San Myshuno, playing video games.

“Thanks,” Arvin sheepishly replied.

“Do you have other kids as your neighbor?” Mason asked.

Arvin shook his head. “We have two tenants in the meantime. Next door, and the basement unit.”

Suddenly, Arvin’s Nanay (Mother) chuckled out loud.

“Ah, Arvin, tell them about the beautiful lady next door.”

“Nay!” (Mom!)

 “Oooh…” Kali teased. “Do you have a crush on her?”

“I thought you don’t have people our age as your tenants?” Mason asked.

Mrs. Covey answered, “Miss Lee is older than him, I think she’s in college, but Arvin’s head over heels for her. He even helped her move some tables! I think he’s got a little crush on her, ano?”

“Nay naman e!” (Mom, come on!)

“I wanna see what she looks like. Is she home?”

“I don’t know,” Arvin rubbed the side of his head. “She’s probably with a client reading their fortune…”

“You just said she’s reading someone’s fortune…” Mason shook his head.

“We could pose as clients!! Let’s get some fortune teller readings!” Kali enthusiastically suggested.

“Ay, if you want to bother her, at least have some money for the reading,” Mrs. Covey said. “Arvin, kunin mo wallet ko, tapos kumuha ka ng tig-sisingkwenta.” (Get my wallet and get fifty for each of you.)

Arvin stood up to go upstairs, leaving his friends with his mother.

“I’m going to cook dinner later, do you have allergies?”

They both shook her head. Mason said, “I’m lactose intolerant though…”

“No milk? Okay. I’ll make something. If you’re going to play outside be sure to be back on time for dinner, okay? Food isn’t yummy anymore when it’s cold!”

“Okay Mrs. Covey!”

“Ay, just Tita Luz na lang!” (Auntie Luz)

“So, boy next door, do you need something?”

The trio was immediately let in by Lavender Lee.

“Sorry, Miss Lee, they wanted – ”

“He said he wanted you to read our fortunes,” Mason interjected.

Lavender smiled a little. “Is that what you came for?”

Kali nodded. Mason added, “If that’s okay…”

“Well, come on then.”

“Who’s coming first?”

Kali jumped and quickly took her seat. “Me first!”

“Okay. What is your name?”

“Kali Rankin!”

Lavender held out her hands around her crystal ball.

“I see…”

Kali bit her lip.

“You’re going to struggle with love, Kali. You’ll fall in love with someone, that looks the other way. It’s going to break your heart, but you value your friendship over them, so you continue being friends. Worry not, however, because someone will come to you at the right time.”

“Oh…” Kali sat there for a while.

“Kali?”

“Pfft, as if I’ll fall in love!” she snorted.

Lavender shook her head, smirking, “Who knows? Okay, who’s next?”

Mason and Arvin looked at each other. Mason said, “I’ll go first.”

“What is your name?”

“Mason Davis…”

She took a deep breath.

“Another love struggle,” Lavender said, amused. “You’ll fall in love with someone, and it seems like you’ll tell them. But that person won’t like you back, and you’ll fall apart from them.”

He sat there, face twisting in an indescribable emotion.

Lavender smiled, “These are just readings, Mason. Sometimes it won’t happen, sometimes it will. It is still up to you to follow that fate.”

His face softened. “Okay.”

He stood up.

“Well, Arvin? Your turn now.”

Arvin sat down. He was avoiding looking at her.

She hummed, before letting out a laugh, “I guess you and Kali are the same. Liking one person but they look the other way. Perhaps you two are fated?”

Kali let out a noise, “Ewwww!”

“I’m not ew Kali!” Arvin stood, face flushing.

“Not ew-ew but like ew cuz I see you as a friend!”

“Okay!!”

Lavender laughed. “Alright, alright that’s enough. I’m just teasing. I don’t want to ruin friendships.”

“Can we go now?” Arvin said, looking at his feet.

“There, there,” Kali patted his back.

“Here, Miss Lee,” Mason handed her a hundred fifty simoleons. “For the reading.”

“You guys were fun, so keep it. Buy snacks or whatever,” Lavender dismissed them.

“Thank you, Miss Lee!” Kali yelled, and Lavender nodded. They ran to the basketball court across from their apartment.

You’ll fall in love with someone, and it seems like you’ll tell them.

But that person won’t like you back, and you’ll fall apart from them.

These are just readings, Mason. Sometimes it won’t happen, sometimes it will. It is still up to you to follow that fate.
