काजोल ने 1992 में आई फिल्म ‘बेखुदी’ से बॉलीवुड में डेब्यू किया था लेकिन उनको असल पहचान 1993 में ब्लॉकबस्टर फिल्म बाजीगर से मिली। इस फिल्म में शाहरुख खान लीड रोल में थे। दोनों पहली बार ही इस फिल्म में एक साथ नजर आए थे।

Apart from being a wife and a doting mother to her two kids, Kajol is still a darling daughter to her mother Tanuja who she considers her biggest influence in life. Today as the yesteryear actress turned a year older, Kajol took to her social media handle to post one of the sweetest birthday wishes ever.

Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a throwback picture where Tanuja can be seen dressed in a traditional Maharashtrian wear and shaking a leg with her mother and her grandmother. Captioning the picture, Kajol wrote, ‘Happy happy birthday to my super awesome mom who still has the same zest and love for life that she did fifty years back…… a difficult example to follow but the most important influence in my life ! Also in the picture is her grandmother and my great grandmother who was also one of the biggest influences in my life ! Ratanbai Shilotri!’

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajol is all geared up for the release of her upcoming film ‘Helicopter Eela’ which hits the screens on October 12, 2018.

Kajol shared a picture with her son Yug on Instagram after she visited the Siddharoodha Math in Hubli and performed special prayers. Posting a picture of herself with Yug, she captioned the picture as, ‘Explaining GOD!!!’

In the picture, while Kajol can be seen dressed in a beige coloured traditional attire, the little boy is decked in a green kurta pyjama. He is seen keenly listening to his mom, as she animatedly explains the importance of the rituals to him.
