All right, so since I’m wrapping up The Sun and Moon (slowly) and brainstorming its sequel (I already chose the title but I’m keeping it a secret rn) I decided to breathe a bit of life into Aloy and Avad’s firstborn, Elisabet (still fleshing out the other two sisters so y’all are stuck with Lissie rn).

Lissie is modeled off of the flawless Kajol Devgan, one of the queens of modern Bollywood (gif is mine).

1. What’s your name?

Elisabet, princess of the Carja Sundom

2. Do you know why you are named that?

I was named for my maternal grandmother, an Old One known as Elisabet Sobeck. Both my parents admire her very much.

3. Are you single or taken?

Someone holds my interest, but I’d prefer to refrain from discussing him at this moment in time.

4. Have any abilities or powers?

My parents raised me akin to each of their tribes. My father has ensured that I be given an enriching education so that I might inherit the Sun-Throne a capable ruler. My mother trained my sisters and me to hunt both animal and machine as well as to survive in the wilds should the need arise. As for powers, well, I suppose my focus is as close to a power as one can get.

Hazel, like my mother.

I found a cat in the streets of Meridian. It took some convincing but I was allowed to keep him.

I enjoy hunting with my mother and sisters, and I enjoy playing the harp. As for drawing, well, my baby sister is the one who inherited that gift from our father.

Of course. I will do anything to protect my family.

No, not yet, but my parents keep me aware that such a choice may arise one day.

14. What kind of animal are you?

Human...?

15. Name your worst habits?

I may come off a little stand-offish. It’s not on purpose, but I have to think about my family and myself first. People want to use us for their own gain, but we want to take care of our Sundom and the people within it. Power comes at a price, and isolation is one of them.

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?

My mother, without a doubt. She is everything a woman should aspire to be.

17. Are you gay, straight or bisexual?

I am unfamiliar with these terms, but based on what you’re hinting at, my... preference is men.

18. Do you go to school?

Private tutor, yes.

It’s my duty to continue our family line and protect Meridian. What I want is irrelevant.

Admirers? I suppose. The Carja have yet to release this unhealthy belief that my family is in any way divine.

An addiction to power, or falling into madness like my grandfather Jiran.

I wear silk gowns in the palace, but when I’m hunting, I prefer leggings and animal skins. I would not recommend hunting in a dress. *laughs*

Dried dates and sugared almonds.

Absolutely.

I am beyond what’s considered high class. I am royalty, and in the eyes of many, divine. It is something I hope to change. It’s a slow process.

A small few. A princess must be careful with whom she grows close with.

Meat pie or sweet pie? You need to be more specific.

29. Favourite drink?

Mead or honeyed wine.

30. What’s your favorite place?

The Solarium. It’s where the family gathers for meals and entertainment and it allows me a view of the city. I go there often to think and write out my thoughts in a journal.

31. Are you interested in anyone?

I have alluded to this earlier.

Yes, it was.

33. Would you rather swim in the lake or the ocean?

I... only know of what an ocean even is. According to this map my mother found, we are rather far from any oceans, however I’m very curious to see what an ocean would be like in person.

34. What’s your type?

A man with a sharp intelligence, a gentle heart, and a strong will. Someone who will be capable of ruling beside me and won’t connive behind my back. I want a marriage like my parents: equal partners with similar goals. Looks are secondary in comparison, although... I am partial to dark hair.

35. Any fetishes?

This is completely unnecessary. What I choose to do in the privacy of my bedchamber is none of your concern.

36. Camping indoors or outdoors?

Who camps indoors? That’s utterly ridiculous. What am I supposed to do, pull out a bedroll and sleep on a stone floor?

I always picture her with dark olive skin and facial features that resemble a latina woman, don't know why, and I don't know if it is compatible with the description we have from her in canon...

Thank you, Anon! ❤️ To answer your question, no. I have never pictured Jen as Katniss when I write fanfiction (I also don’t picture Josh as Peeta, but let’s not get into that, shall we?)

There is nothing at all in the books that is incompatible with your description of Katniss. All she gives us about herself is “olive skin, straight dark hair, and gray eyes.” Go forth and continue with what you’ve been picturing.

Personally, my head picture of her shifts a little more than my head picture of Peeta tends to, but I have a few frequent repeat customers. Do you know who Q’orianka Kilcher is? Even though she has brown eyes, in terms of facial features and color, she is most often the image in my head when I write Katniss. Kajol actually makes quite a few appearances in my Katniss head space, too.
