Two random cute sims I made, Faisa Bhatt and her daughter Aqsaa. They’re both Pakistani-Simerican, and Faisa works as a teacher at Evergreen Harbor Elementary, which Aqsaa goes to. They live in Stonestreet Apts #3, and I redecorated it a bit to suit Faisa’s style (originally it was the style of the Hecking-Feldman-Chens) 😊

So some background info. Faisa went to Foxbury Institute for college and studied language and literature. In her sophomore year, she met Farhan Malek, a drama major, and they dated until their senior year. They broke up a bit after graduation and Farhan headed to Starlight Shores to become an actor while Faisa stayed in Britechester to get her masters in education. She then found out she was pregnant, and had to switch her plans. She moved back home to Windenburg, had Aqsaa, and worked as a Lifeguard while also taking online classes while Aqsaa’s nano and nana (Urdu for maternal grandma and grandpa) watched her. After Aqsaa got older, Faisa was finally able to get her masters, and certification in teaching, and taught in Windenburg for a while. Recently, she got an offer to teach at Evergreen Harbor, so she took it, and moved there with Aqsaa.

Well, I have some great friends preforming with me— and my best friends mom always watches us— but the only person in my family to ever really support me was my dad and he passed away almost 7 years ago. Since then, even if I’ve been able to properly mourn him, it just always feels like something is missing and he’s that thing. I try and do my best in everything for him because he would of wanted me to, but I just wish he was here to actually see it himself, ya know?

I’ll be a senior next year and the fact that he won’t be there for my last pep band, concert, speech/drama competition, or anything like that is something that’s been weighing on me quite a bit lately. I wanna keep doing things for him but it’s hard when he isn’t actually here for me anymore

NEW DELHI: At a time when MPs are usually in news for wrong reasons after beating up or threatening to thrash airline staffers, the minister of state for civil aviation has set an example how his fellow VIPs should act — without any arrogance of power and as the common man. Jayant Sinha wanted a certain meal on a low cost domestic flight but the air hostess told him he had pre-booked some other meal which cannot be changed at the last minute. Sinha paid for the meal he wanted without making any fuss.

This incident was recounted by Sinha’s co-passenger who flew with him from Delhi to Ranchi on Tuesday on budget airline AirAsia India. “Your cabin crew needs to recognize MoS (minister of state) for civil aviation. Flew Delhi-Ranchi I5-545 today, with @jayantsinha in the adjacent seat. He asked for a specific food item but was told ‘you have booked a south Indian meal, which can’t be changed now’. So he paid for his snacks!,” tweeted Gurgaon-based Asad Rasheed from his handle @Asad_qrubas.
