Barzakh Review: Love, Loss, Life, and the Afterlife: A Story of Eternal Connections

January Wrap-up 🩵 | 2024
well, i did end up reading some of the books i posted on my tbr list, and i consider that a success!!
Books:
Daughter of the Moon Goddess: 4.5/5 🌟
this coulda been a perfect five star read, but the flippty-flip-floppity between the boys till the last page was too much for me, so i deducted a half star!! still, this was a great read!
Check & Mate: 3.5/5 🌟
read my review in the post below!!
Komi Can’t Communicate (Vol. 19): 3.5/5 🌟
again, i live, love, laugh komi, rumiko, and tadano!
Fixed on You: 4/5 🌟
this was my first reread of the year, and the first time i reread this book since 2014. i was pleasantly impressed by the fact that it stood the test of time and my vastly different reading taste!
Squire: 3.5/5 🌟
i loved everything about this book: the art style, the story, the characters!! i especially loved the fact that the authors decided to explore a story inspired by ottoman ruled levant as that’s a period we don’t have many stories from!
With the Fire on High: 4/5 🌟
what can i say? i’ll read anything acevedo writes, narrates!!! 😍
Between the Lines: Facial Tattoos and the Chaouia: 4/5 🌟
this didn’t offer me any new information as i am a chaouia and my nan has similar tattoos to the women featured in the article. however, it is a very informative and short read if you’re uneducated on facial tattooing practices by the indigenous people of north africa!
Shows & Movies:
One Piece (Live-Show): 7/10 🌟

Featured: A Review of the Pakistani Drama "Meri Shehzadi"
Introduction to Meri Shehzadi Meri Shehzadi looks like a typical Pakistani political story, specially at this critical time of politics. Although reviewers are comparing the story with Princess Diana story but to me it looks like the story of Benazeer Bhutto.  Background Most reviewers write `with the launch itself, “Meri Shehzadi,” which was initially titled “Meri Shehzadi Diana,” made no…

The crown season 5 is messy
Tumblr media
If you haven’t seen it. I am warning you this review contains spoilers to the 5th season.
Very soapy
The breath of anticipation is over Netflix’s hit show the crown released its 5th season. Following the royals in the disastrous era of the 90s. Though the show time and time again has offered high equality and captivating stories. All of this falls flat; rather we get a season constructed like a poorly written soap opera with weird dialogues and heavy handed metaphors. It seems Peter Morgen threw out good writing and storytelling for the sake of making season 5 dramatic and spicy. Over emphasizing the disastrous marriage of Charles and Diana leaving little room of other meaningful stories of the royals during the 90s.
Diana's portrayal was questionable ?
Though Elizabeth Debicki manages to resurrect the princess of Wales through her accent and mannerisms. The writers instead of presenting Diana trying to find the light in the darkness. They concoct a story of a woman seeking to destroy everything in her path and raise a middle finger to the royals and the institution. In term purposefully giving heartache to her children who are members of the institution. Considering the fact many describe the princess of Wales being a good and caring mother. The writing and depiction seems to throw it all away for Drama! Even making the wrong and gross assertion she has a fetish for Pakistani men with the man playing Martin Bashir saying "haven't you notice she's got a thing for Pakistanis" Though Diana developed a special place for Pakistan it was not sensual in nature. Previous seasons have managed to balance fiction and reality with storylines and characters. This season seems to want to find cheap ways to make drama rather than following the precedent set by previous seasons.

Just to be clear most Muslim world isn't even following the boycott, I'm Pakistani and I've seen McDonalds and KFC full all the time even at 2am...
Sometimes trends have an effect on the ppl who follow the idols on social media but generally the earning fan who pays for the tickets and buy merch don't have time for fanfights and struggles of ppl on the other side of the world.
I personally am not eating McDonald's but my niece who is my responsibility eats it. Also idols have no real value in international media so why would a Korean popstar promoting a charity burger hurt the cause...
Btw I've seen more sea fans not happy with the schedule but most are still posting him, the loudest ones weren't ever his fans so it shouldn't matter.
P.S. the Indonesian fans got pissed on the Korean fans and not the idol, one should never down play the superiority complex most Koreans have as if not 30 years back they were worse than most ppl they lolz at now
The racism and sarcasm made them demand the concert be cancelled and ultimately Korean fans started talking about indofans being terrorists.
In this whole situation I was just reminded the shit Koreans used to say, thanks to K-pop becoming global just made me forget it
As for unfollowing, I kind of disagree with you. Sometimes it's better to leave an idol or band then make drama. If they're over doyoung it's better for all that they leave. Everyone is allowed to like or hate stuff...
P.S. the doyoung shirt offended me more than the whole McDonald's situation... Mary and Jesus are very important individuals in islam and I hate it when ppl do shit like this (this is why I hate liberals being anti Christians too)
-------------
IG. It was not the point. (And not the case, Doyoung's situation is not even Lucas' situation). Unsubscribing might bring people you described peace of mind, but it won't change the fact that they changed their opinion about a good person due to the pressure from the masses, him being labeled "bad", and nothing else. It's like those fans who ask if the new to them idol "did anything controversial?" before deciding to stan. Or hating an author of a book without actually reading it only because of a bad review from a person who also didn't read the book "but heard it's problematic". Delegating thinking to the others, following someone else's opinion and judgement.

No but actually, your assessment of how people lack appreciation for nuances in dramas is so true. It’s not just acting; people can’t appreciate subtleties in writing, either. People always complain of Saas-bahu dramas yet they can’t handle anything besides the overt nature of good Vs evil.
Mein is a good, recent example. Mubashira is — for Pakistani TV standards — a sort of well-written character with bipolar disorder. I say this as someone in the medical field and with family members with BPD. Ayeza has even said mubashira has BPD, but if you read the comments the majority of people are saying Ayeza is “overacting”. Like no bro she’s not overacting (imagine saying Ayeza khan can’t act lolol) she’s having manic episodes, and pretty good ones for PTV standards, but people aren’t willing to appreciate how much work she has put into this character because this character can’t easily be boxed into a category. (To be clear the writing of mubashira isn’t totally flawless like they confused a psychiatrist for a therapist but again it’s the best I’ve seen)
Slightly related but wahaj recently wore a pink Kurta for his MayaPret shoot and the comments under there are filled with demasculinizing wahaj, and this is coming from all genders. Like appreciating nuances are one thing. We have a longgggg way to go if men are still made fun of for wearing pink.
you said it. from what I have observed in terms of how acting is termed by the reviewers as "good" or "bad" very basically falls under the description of, "was it obvious?" even then it has to be obvious at just the right decibel. otherwise it's loud and overacting.
another thing that is often not taken into consideration is how much of a say TPTB have about how a project is executed. i know for a fact that different directors demand different kinds of acting from the actors. some directors specifically WANT the loudness because to them that's how a particular emotion will be best show on screen. some directors go for the subtlety. some want silence to do its job while the actor just occupies the space. and there are cases where the directors are instructed by the channel heads to shoot the project on a certain frequency. no project is made in a vacuum. there are so many decision makers operating behind the doors whose names we don't even know. we only see and react to what we have access to.
khair, acting is an art and while it can be studied and critiqued, there's no set-in-stone parameter by which we can judge its quality. or you can if you really want to but god i am just so tired by life in general to want to get into all that. so, I just stick to the very basic rule for judging an acting performance - did it move me? if yes, then it's a good acting performance. if not then bhale hi uss insaan ko laakhon oscar kyun na mile ho, for me it will never be good. for instance, Iqra Aziz was the best part of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi even if Imran Ashraf continues to make Bhola his entire personality. i won't sit and argue with anyone about it - that's just how my heart works.
AND OMG YES PLS TELL ME ABOUT HOW *FINE* WAHAJ LOOKS IN PINK?!?!?! THE MAN CARRIED THE COLOR BEAUTIFULLY!! SUCH A WELCOME BREAK FROM ALL THE MONOTONY OF BLACK&WHITE!!! FUCK ALL THE HATERS! HE'S A BEAUTIFUL MAN AND THE SOFTNESS OF THAT PINK WITH HIS UNDENIABLE CHARM CREATED AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL PICTURE!!! the ones hating on him are only jealous cuz they know they cannot carry the color well.

Review of the Sky Force Movie (2025): An account of the bravery and patriotism of those who gave their lives in defense of the nation
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Akshay Kumar in Sky Force film (Credit: Poster/Jio Studios, Maddock Films)
Introduction
Sky Force is a Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapoor directed action drama that will be released on January 24, 2025. Its tone is a patriotic action drama, with the theme of sacrifice. In addition to amusing, the Sky Force film conveys the lesson that nothing is more important than serving one's country. When a nation exists, we are there; when it does not, we are not. The film looks just as good onscreen as it does in the trailer. Wing Commander Ajjamada Boppaiya Devayya MVC, Pakistani Squadron Leader Amjad Hussain, Air Chief Marshal Arjan Singh, Air Commodore David Lawrence, and Air Vice Marshal Amit Narang were soldiers from our Air Force at the time. Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Nimrat Kaur, Sara Ali Khan, and Sharad Kelkar have all played lead parts in films based on real-life heroes. This movie was effective in keeping the audience hooked to their seats.
What is Sky Force movie about?
This film is based on a true incident: India's first air strike on Sargodha Airbase during the Into-Pakistan Air War in 1965.
Is Sky Force Released?
Yes, Sky Force was released on 24th January 2025.
What is the budget of Sky Force?
150–160 Crore
Is Sky Force based on a true story?
Sky Force is based on the true story of Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya of the Indian Air Force's No.1 Squadron. His tremendous fortitude during the 1965 conflict went unnoticed for decades, making his narrative one of the most spectacular but lesser-known tales of valor in Indian military history.
Is Sky Force a remake of Fighter?
No, Sky Force is not a remake of Fighter.
Plot:
Sky Force is based on the story of a wing commander and a squadron leader, depicting their friendship, love, and emotions. During India's first air strike against the Sargodha airfield in Pakistan, an occurrence occurs that causes the squadron leader to disappear. Where and how did he disappear, and will he ever be found? Will the wing commander be able to locate him? Will his wife be able to learn about her husband? To find out the answers to all of these questions, watch the film.
Acting and characters:
Akshay Kumar delivers an outstanding performance as Wing Commander Kumar Om Ahuja. He took the task very seriously. He is an artist who is completely absorbed in his role, heart, and mind. His dialogue delivery is excellent. He is regarded as one of India's top performers, having played a variety of roles during his career. While seeing Sky Force, the memories of his last two films, Rustom (2016) and airlift (2016) return, for which he received the National Award for Best Actor. Sky Force is based on the same storyline, with Nimrat Kaur reprising his role as his wife in Airlift (2016). This is Veer Pahariya's first debut Hindi film as Squadron Leader Tabby, and based on his performance, you would never know it. He may be a long-distance horse in the Hindi film industry. His dialogue delivery, attitude, and body language are all fantastic. He played the role in an entirely different manner. His performance is fresh. Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan's acting in the roles of Preeti and Geeta can also be considered decent; the length of their roles was not extensive and there was not much for them to do either. Sharad Kelkar's performance as Ahmed Hussain was also decent. Manish Chaudhary, Mohit Chauhan, and Varun Badola deliver decent performances in the supporting cast.
Direction:
Sky Force is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapoor. Both of them are making their directorial debut. Abhishek Anil Kapoor previously worked as an associate director on Amar Kaushik's films Stree (2018) and Bala (2019), as well as an assistant director on Laxman Utekar's Mimi (2021). He demonstrated his abilities by directing a film on such a delicate and difficult subject, demonstrating that if the story is great, a good film can be produced. The air strike scenes were skillfully captured. Technology has been used quite well. He's done an excellent job directing the flick. It's hard to believe this is his first directorial effort. He kept the audience interested from start to finish and did not allow them to get bored any place. His total control is evident in all departments. The director has captured the emotional scenes on screen in a way that touches the heart deeply, and the audience feels linked to them after viewing them.

Story-Screenplay-Dialogue:
The story, screenplay, and dialogue were written by Aamil Kiyan Khan, Sandeep Kewlani, Carl Austin, and Niren Bhatt. The narrative is based on a real-life event. The screenplay is quite strong. After each scene in the film, one has no idea what will happen next. The dialogues have also been nicely crafted, but because they are in English, they will be lost on viewers who are unfamiliar with the language. Dialogues filled with patriotism and significance have been written.
Cinematography:
S. Krishnan Ravichandran has done an excellent job with the cinematography. The scenes of the air strike were very nicely captured. The aerial views have been magnificent. The scenes of ships battling in the skies are terrifying. Top-notch cinematography.
Editing:
A. Sreekar Prasad's editing is tight. The film is never dull from beginning to end. The scene transitions are very well done, and the pace is rapid.
Music:
Tanishk Bagchi's music is magnificent, particularly the patriotic song Maaye, which B Praak sings in a melodic and powerful voice. Satinder Sartaj and Zehrah S Khan's voices complement the music in the Rang song. Vishal Mishra's Kya Meri Yaad Aati Hai is an emotional song that touches the heart. Tu Hai To Main Hoon by Arijit Singh and Afsana Khan is a lovely song worth listening to only once.
Lyrics:
Irshad Kamil's songs, including Kya Meri Yaad Aati Hai and Tu Hai To Main Hoon, are brilliantly crafted. Manoj Muntashir wrote the song Maye in a very profound way.
Background Score:
Justin Varghese's background score is explosive and wonderfully complements the film's tone and theme.
Choreography:
Vijay Ganguly's choreography works nicely only in one song, rang.
Sound Design:
Ganesh Gangadharan's sound design is quite effective.
Production Design:
Mayur Sharma, Sujeet Subhash Sawant, and Sriram Kannan Iyengar's production design has limited scope in the film.
Costume Design:
Shivank Kapoor and Neena Borah's bespoke designs were appropriate for 1965.
Action:
Craig Macrae and Parvez Shaikh's acts are incredible, dangerous, and frightening.
Visual effects:
The visual effects are also incredibly vivid and can be described as the film's spirit.
Climax:
It's emotional and brings tears to your eyes.
Opinion:
People who enjoy good cinematography, patriotism, and emotional films should watch this film.
Rating:
7.5/10
Popular Dialogue:
The Pakistani says over the phone, “Janaab Kaun, Janaab Kaun.” Akshay Kumar responds, “Tera Baap Hindustan.”
Flaw:
It would have been preferable if the film's dialogues had been entirely in Hindi, as people with limited English understanding would have missed out on them. Thandel (2025) Movie Review: A Tale of Love, Patriotism, and Survival
Introduction
Thandel (2025) is a Telugu-language romantic action thriller directed by Chandoo Mondeti, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. Based on a real-life incident, the film delves into the struggles of a fisherman who inadvertently crosses international waters and is captured by Pakistani forces. With a mix of romance, drama, and patriotism, Thandel promises an emotional cinematic experience.
Plot Overview
Raju (Naga Chaitanya), a brave and dedicated fisherman from Srikakulam, is deeply in love with Satya (Sai Pallavi). Despite Satya’s concerns over his risky profession, Raju continues to embark on fishing expeditions. During one such journey, fate takes a cruel turn when his boat drifts into Pakistani waters, leading to his capture.
The film follows Raju’s harrowing experience as a prisoner while exploring the impact on Satya and their unwavering love. The narrative highlights themes of patriotism, resilience, and human emotions amidst geopolitical tensions.
Performances
Naga Chaitanya as Raju — Delivers a heartfelt performance, showcasing the character’s determination and emotional turmoil.
Sai Pallavi as Satya — Captures the essence of a woman torn between love and fear, bringing depth to her role.
Supporting Cast — The film features a strong supporting cast that adds layers to the storytelling, although some characters could have been better developed.
Direction and Screenplay
Director Chandoo Mondeti takes a bold approach in blending romance with socio-political elements. While the film’s premise is compelling, the screenplay occasionally struggles to maintain a seamless narrative. Certain sequences shine with gripping tension, but others seem stretched, affecting the pacing.
Cinematography and Music
Cinematography — Shamdat Sainudeen’s stunning visuals bring the coastal landscapes and intense action sequences to life.
Music — Devi Sri Prasad’s soundtrack enhances the emotional weight of the film. However, a few songs feel misplaced within the storyline.
Editing — The second half could have been crisper to maintain a tighter grip on the audience.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths
✅ Powerful lead performances by Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. ✅ A unique and emotionally engaging storyline based on real events. ✅ Stunning visuals and impactful background score.
Weaknesses
❌ Pacing issues in the latter half. ❌ Some underdeveloped supporting characters. ❌ The blend of multiple themes at times weakens the emotional core.
Final Verdict
Thandel (2025) is an ambitious attempt at combining romance, patriotism, and drama. While it has its flaws, the film offers an emotionally charged experience with strong performances and striking visuals. If you enjoy films that explore love and survival against the backdrop of geopolitical challenges, Thandel is worth watching.
Where to Watch?
For those eager to watch Thandel (2025) and other blockbuster Telugu movies, platforms like YoMovies offer a diverse collection of films. However, always ensure you access content through legal streaming services to support the creators and the industry.

Thandel Review: Naga Chaitanya Shines in This Action Romance Drama
Tumblr media
Thandel Review: The highly awaited Telugu movie Thandel, featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is now showing in theatres around the world. Does this emotional story meet your high expectations and provide a memorable experience? Read our review to learn more! Release Date : February 07, 2025 Starring : Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi & Others Director : Chandoo Mondeti Producer : Bunny Vas Music Director : Devi Sri Prasad Cinematographer : Shamdat (ISC) Editors : Navin Nooli Plot: Raju (Naga Chaitanya), a brave fisherman from Srikakulam, has a strong and lasting relationship with Satya (Sai Pallavi). Their love is strong and steady, but everything changes when Raju is made Thandel (Leader) of his people. Worried about his safety, Satya asks him to stop fishing for good. Even though she warned him, Raju goes out to sea and unintentionally sails into Pakistani waters. This mistake gets him and his crew sent to a jail in Pakistan, completely changing their lives. Will Raju and his team find a way to get home? Can love survive distance, challenges, and uncertainty? The story of Thandel reveals themes of love, sacrifice, and strength. Good Thing About Movie: Thandel movie shows that a straightforward love story, when expressed with deep feelings, can have a powerful effect. The film mixes love, desire, sadness, and patriotism, making it enjoyable to watch. Naga Chaitanya gives a remarkable performance after a long time. His change into the character is impressive, and his skilful use of the Srikakulam accent makes it feel real, which is a great part of the film. Sai Pallavi stands out once more, just as expected. Her performance really brings the story to life, making her love and feelings for Raju feel very genuine. The chemistry between Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi is one of the film's greatest strengths, adding special charm to their romance. Devi Sri Prasad's music is amazing. For anyone who questioned his recent work, Thandel shows just how talented he is. His music brings the film to life, enhancing important scenes with moving songs. The songs are well-made and are used in the right moments, adding to the story's emotions. Bad Thing About Movie: Thandel's love story is very touching, but some parts feel repetitive, which makes the story a bit disjointed. A little more variety in the script could have made the experience more engaging. The parts about the prison in Pakistan were strong but could have been done better. While the intention is good, some parts don't have the impact needed to stir strong feelings of patriotism. Having more engaging conversations could have made a bigger impact and left a lasting impression on the audience. Also Read: Vidaamuyarchi Movie Review: Ajith Kumar Delivers a Power-Packed Performance The movie has a reasonable length, but some scenes are a bit slow, which can disrupt the flow. A more careful edit would have made the experience more exciting. Verdict: Overall, Thandel is a heartfelt love story with themes of patriotism. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi give excellent performances, and their on-screen connection is the heart of the film. Devi Sri Prasad’s music enhances the experience, making emotional moments stronger. The film has some small issues, like some repeated parts and a few dull moments in the jail scenes, but its strong emotions and sincere story make it a good watch. If you like love stories that are meaningful, Thandel is a movie that will move you. Read the full article

HANDOUT (A)
CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Meets 50-Member Delegation of Students from Balochistan Residential College Loralai
Lahore, 23 January 2025:
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif met a delegation of 50 students from Balochistan Residential College Loralai. She gifted laptops to all students of Balochistan. She directed to provide pocket money for sightseeing, arrange a tour of Lahore on a double-decker bus along with arranging lunch at the best hotel upon the request of the students of Balochistan. Balochistan students commended the initiatives of CM Punjab and the students expressed their desire to study in Punjab.
She while talking to the students of Balochistan Residential College said, “I want to visit to Balochistan in the near future so as to give Honhaar scholarships to the students. If I can, I will give more scholarships and laptops to the students of Balochistan than Punjab. My heart aches for the people of Balochistan. I have been thinking about the students of Balochistan for a long time. The prospects for the Provision of e-bikes to the students of Balochistan will be reviewed.”
She said, “Balochistan students are no less than anyone, if given favourable conditions, they will advance ahead of everyone. I equally think about the children of Balochistan and other provinces as of Punjab. Nations do not develop by begging. We came out of the clutches of the IMF in 2016 and were trapped again later. We want to move ahead by using our own resources and human development as a means to attain progress. Punjab and Balochistan receive funds based on their population.”
She added, “Balochistan is rich in natural resources, we do not have as much natural resources as Balochistan but we spend on the people’s welfare by increasing revenue. Wherever the PML-N government remained in power development took place over there. Balochistan attained progress and development during three-term Premiership of Nawaz Sharif.”
CM Punjab said, “Nawaz Sharif paid full attention to Balochistan during all his terms of government, perhaps Balochistan remained his center of attention more than Punjab. Like every Pakistani, I have a lot of love for Balochistan in my heart. Nawab Ahmed Jogezai wrote with blood a handkerchief with the slogan "Pakistan Zindabad" and willed to be buried with him. Balochistan is the land of martyrs who laid down their lives for Pakistan.”

While giving scholarships, no one was asked which party they belonged to. Those who receive scholarships will get free education for the next 4 years.”
CM Punjab said, “We did not give scholarships sitting in Lahore but went to 9 divisions and gave scholarships to taalented students. The acceptance and love received from the students at the Honhaar scholarship ceremony, seems like a dream. The love and affection received from the students were termed as a drama by the opponents. The 1st and 3rd year students of undergraduate programs are also being included in the Honhaar scholarship program.”
She said, “In the digital era, studying is not possible without a laptop. The position is a trust of the people, I consider myself accountable to Allah Almighty and the people. Agriculture is being promoted in Punjab through livestock cards, green tractors, Kisan cards, internship programs and other measures. The people of Balochistan are benefiting from free medicine, dialysis cards and other health facilities.”
She added, “We are not only building roads and bridges, but are also focusing on changing the condition of the people. Everyone should bear the fruits of development. People from Balochistan and other provinces will also be able to get treatment in Pakistan's first government-run Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital. Liquid nitrogen cryosurgery machines are being brought from China for cancer treatment.”
She said, “The people of KPK will also be able to benefit after the establishment of the first Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology in Sargodha. Children not only from Punjab but from other provinces are also benefiting from the Children's Heart Surgery Program. A citizen of Balochistan expressed gratitude for receiving two months free medicine.”
CM Punjab said, “Air Ambulance Service is providing services not only in Punjab but to other provinces as well. For the first time in Punjab, a free meal program was started for students suffering from malnutrition as a result of which enrollment increased. The target of zero out-of-school children will be achieved soon. Medals and cash awards were launched for board topper students. E-bikes have been given to 10,000 students and e-bikes will be given to further 01 lac students.”
She said, “The construction of the first Artificial Intelligence University in Punjab is starting soon. Talks are underway on livestock export from Saudi Arabia. Solarization of agricultural tube wells will reduce the burden of diesel and electricity bills on farmers. In Punjab, Vanda has been purchased for one lac animals through Livestock Card. Emergency measures have been taken to eliminate smog, Punjab is now moving from diesel, petrol to green energy. First, 130 tonnes of shrimp will be exported from the shrimp farming program. Punjab is being taken to the zero-plastic usage.”
The CM added, “Interest-free loans from Rs. 10 lac up to Rs 3 crore will be provided through the ‘Asaan Karobar Card’ and finance schemes. 16,000 applications have been received for Asaan Karobar Finance and 18,000 applications for Asaan Karobar Card. Punjab is being driven towards industrialization. One lakh people got employment through Shuthra Punjab program and an industry worth billions of rupees has started.”
She said, “All districts of Punjab will become safe cities in coming few months. I neither did appointment on any recommendation nor patronizes violation of merit. Master planning of all major cities of Punjab is being done. Corridors are being developed especially for tourism. 27 electric buses have arrived, 500 more buses will arrive soon.”
She added, “Target of building one lakh houses in a year and 5 lakh houses in 5 years will be achieved. Steps are being taken to provide 3 marla plots to the people free of cost. Financial assistance is being provided to the destitute through ‘Himmat Card’ and ‘Minority Card’. Women and children can obtain help by calling the virtual police station. 700 roads are being constructed and repaired in Punjab. After Faisalabad and Gujranwala, metro bus service will also be started in Sargodha. When you return back then work on merit as work is done with hard work and dedication and not with money.”
She said, “If the rulers comprehend sufferings of the people, then the province will move forward. The public situation cannot be ascertained without visiting hospitals, schools and streets. Each province gets funds based on its population. Good governance is the name of hard work and commitment. In the previous tenure, the province remained in a state of disarray and financial embezzlement was done. I adhere to the golden principle of observing punctuality and dislike to make others wait. The Chief Ministership is not a position rather a duty to render public service.”
The students of Balochistan said that they feel envious to witness the development and prosperity of Punjab. They wished their province to develop and prosper on the same pattern. CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif is introducing splendid welfare projects for the people of Punjab. It is our wish to study in CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Punjab province.
