Happy anniversary to Heavenly Sword, released on this day in 2007! Heavenly Sword was my first PS3 game and made a huge impression on me when I first got that clunky, enormous console that I can't believe is still running today. I am so thankful to have found a Nariko close-ish to me to take photos with in my Kai cosplay & with my crossbow prop that I made in 2020! Kai & Nariko was one of my biggest cosplay duo dreams ever and it was so much fun shooting with KnotPossible, her husband, and of course Z is Eternal, this past May. I could not stop staring at THEEE Heavenly Sword/s that Knot and her husband made! They are so impressive! Kai is meee Nariko: knotpossible 📸 ZisEternal

I finally got around to editing a few more pics that Z is Eternal took of me and Knot Possible Cosplay as Kai & Nariko from Heavenly Sword last summer!

This character duo was such a dream come true for me that I never thought would happen ;v; As a teenager I would try so hard to play this game when I got my PS3 but it was so hard. And then I'd just dream of cosplaying Kai eventually and hoped to have a Nariko some day XD

My friend MagicalAni helped me finally beat it as an adult in 2020, while I was in the process of finally making my Kai costume. Then 2022 came around, and I happened to find Knot on instagram; I decided to hit her up to plan a photoshoot! In May 2023, Dave & I did a road trip day to a park on the way to Toronto to shoot with her and her husband, and it was so fun! Costumes and props all made by us 🥰 I can hear the game's soundtrack just looking at our pics 😂

Finally can post my Rio cosplay! I just learned how to sew this year and let me tell you the hood and gloves were beating me up. I’m really happy with how it turned out though! Thank you to all the people at the con who asked me for photos or simply was hyped for Rio!
