Okay y'all I have to go completely cringe confessional with you for a second bc I went to a M/use concert last night and I was slapped in the face with unexpected Sally feels:

I kind of forgot about the whole mask gimmick they had for the W/ill of the People album, so when the show started with THIS ⬆️ I was absolutely STRUCK with rockstar!Sally dokis 😳👉👈💓 @soft-spirit-ren sent in a marvelous request about it AGES ago and the WIP has been collecting dust for a while, but omg did that particular brand of thirst come flooding back 🙈💘💘💘 I kept swooning and going off into daydream land about being a rockstar!Sally fan/roadie/groupie whenever Matt had the mask on, and wherever he'd take it off I was like 'EY PUT THAT BACK ON IM FANTASIZING OVER HERE! >:|' lol it was a great show anyway, but all that definitely added to it U//w//U👉👈💘🎸

(Also, there was so much confetti that I got some in my eye and the guy next to me drank some in his beer lmao)

My second go at stuffed peppers was a SUCCESS 💯🫑 I'm gonna put a liiitle more salt on the peppers themselves next time, but damn I inhaled those 😩👌💖 I went with a simple combo of pork sausage, garlic and onion cooked in butter and chicken broth, rice, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt and pepper, topped one with pepper jack and one with mixed shredded cheese, and baked it covered in foil. They came out perfectly tender and were SO GOOD!! Will def have them again! 😋🍴

One thing I'd like to do to mix things up a bit is try cooking new things, and since my plantains are being stubborn, I took a crack at making stuffed peppers, since I've never made them before 👌🫑💕

These are my first attempt- green peppers stuffed with beans, rice, corn, salsa, cumin, chili powder, garlic salt, hot sauce and lime juice, topped with cheddar cheese and cilantro. If I'm being honest, they looked good, but I'd give them a ~3.5/10 taste-wise.

The beans and rice were good as usual, but the pepper itself was really plain and didn't cook enough for my personal preference :/ but, first tries are about establishing a baseline and improving from there! I think I'm going to try seasoning and roasting the pepper on its own, then filling it with stuffing with more kick, and roasting it all again (like a twice baked potato 😁) more fat will probably help it a lot too, so im gonna get some more cheese and some beef the next time im shopping and let y'all know how the second try goes 👍🫑💕🔂
