Best of 2024 Music #4: IVE 아이브 “Will”

In what seems to be an annual occurrence we come to the years best anime song.

Pokémon Horizons for the most part has definitely been not what people were expecting beyond Ash, Ketchum and Pikachu.

A student inheriting a pendant that ties her into a larger picture of an ancient quest.

A boy from an island looking for a bigger sense of adventure.

And an introvert girl known for cultivating a social media presence and technical expertise while her self lacking social skills beyond that.

For many Liko, Roy, and Dot we’re not many thought of with the new main cast of characters interacting with the world of Pokémon.

Especially when tied down to the rising volt tacklers .

So it is helpful that with the new season we got to see the trio go beyond the team and into familiarity via the plot of Pokémon scarlet and Violet as they enter into the school in Paleda becoming students.

More so with the usual opening theme via the Korean group, IVE. as they tie in the adventure out there for the new main trio.

20 was finding hope in the darkness

21 was manifesting destiny

22 was the bonds of unexpected family

And a year ago we saw the means of living your best life. 

When it comes to Will, this falls under the pure sense of adventure awaiting for those who challenge the road ahead.

If only they did not have to bring it back to Captain Pikachu and Company, it was plenty fine, just seeing the trio for a while.

SUM 22: The road to Terestral perfecting awaited Liko, Roy, and Dot as Pokémon gained it’s best theme since its heyday via the ladies of IVE.

HELL YA! My favorite K-pop group Stray Kids had one of my biases, Lee Felix, do their “Chk Chk Boom Dance Challenge” with a member of the recently debuted hard-of-hearing K-pop group called Big Ocean’s member, Jiseok!

Talk about feeling a ton of feelings! I am so happy for Big Ocean! They recently did a performance on a popular Korean Music show too! 💜💜💜
