Punishment for disobedience by Hanni
Managers x Hanni
Warning: BDSM, very hardcore & rough, humiliation, degrading, triple penetration, bruises, destroying the body, whipping, sadism, metal rods, total mess, gangbang, anal, treatment like a slave.

Note: please this is all just a fantasy for reading and stuff, this can be uncomfortable to read so if ur weak hearted or a fluff enjoyer, typically do not read.
Hanni stood at the heart of a lively fan event, her long dark hair framing her delicate features as she forced a faint smile, her right hand raised in a peace sign for the cameras capturing her move. She wore a light green satin dress over a white long-sleeve shirt, paired with black sneakers, her youthful and polished appearance captivating the crowd of adoring fans, her growing fame as an idol under HYPE, one of the most powerful agencies in K-pop industry.
At 18, Hanni had already endured intimate stuff and coercive history with her 8 managers, who had subjected her to sexual encounters since her trainee days, a practice that, while normalized in this universe’s industry, had left her deeply scarred.
As She had grown up, she had seen this as an unavoidable part of her rise to fame, but the cumulative trauma had finally driven her to take a stand—she had reported the managers to a court, hoping to expose their sexual activity with her and break free from their control. She also planned to leave the agency.
Unbeknownst to her, the managers had just received word of her legal action through their extensive network of industry connections.
Today there was a fan meeting of Newjeans. Hanni was there, wearing the same outfit in the picture..
The manager's rage was a palpable force as they watched her interact with fans, their eyes burning with a fury that promised a brutal reckoning. Hanni felt their gazes on her, a shiver running down her spine, but she maintained her idol persona, her smile a fragile mask hiding the terror that had consumed her since filing the court case, her mind racing with the fear of what they might do if they found out what she said in the court.
As the fan event concluded, the 1st manager, a 50-year-old with a commanding presence and a reputation for ruthlessness, approached Hanni, his face a mask of professional calm that barely concealed the storm brewing beneath. “You did well today, Hanni,” he said, his voice low and laced with venom, his eyes boring into hers with an intensity that made her stomach churn.
“But we heard about your little stunt in court. You think you can betray HYPE and get away with it?” Hanni’s heart pounded, her fingers trembling as she clutched the edge of her dress, her voice quivering with fear as she tried to explain. “I… I just wanted it to stop,” she said, a little amount of tears welling in her eyes, her voice barely audible over the lingering chatter of departing fans. “I didn’t mean to betray anyone… I just couldn’t take it anymore… the things you’ve done to me…” The 1st manager’s eyes narrowed, his tone icy as he stepped closer, his presence looming over her. “You’ve made a big mistake,” he snapped, his voice a low growl. “HYPE owns you, Hanni. You’re our slave, and tonight, we’re going to teach you a lesson you’ll never forget. You’ll wish you’d never stepped foot in that courtroom.”
Hanni’s stomach twisted with dread, her mind racing with memories of the sexual encounters she’d endured at their hands—encounters that had started as coerced “bonding” sessions but had grown increasingly violent over time, leaving her body and spirit scarred. She knew their anger would lead to something far worse than anything she’d experienced before, but HYPE’s influence was absolute, and her attempt to seek justice had only tightened the chains that bound her to her managers. She tried to run.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The moment the fans had dispersed, and she tried to escape, the managers’ demeanor shifted from professional to predatory, their rage boiling over as they grabbed Hanni, their grips on her arms bruising as they dragged her out of the venue and into a waiting black van parked in a secluded alley.
Inside the vehicle, the 2nd manager, a 47-year-old with a sadistic glint in his eyes, immediately backhanded her across the face, the force of the blow splitting her lip and sending her crashing against the van’s interior wall, her head spinning as blood dripped down her chin. “You thought you could betray HYPE?” he roared, his voice filled with venom as he punched her in the stomach, making her double over, gasping for air.
The 4th manager, a 46-year-old with a brutal streak, joined in, grabbing her hair and slamming her face against the van’s window, the impact bruising her cheek and causing her to cry out in pain. The 5th manager, a 42-year-old with a penchant for violence, tore at her clothes with his hands, ripping her light green satin dress and white long-sleeve shirt to shreds, the fabric tearing with a sickening sound as Hanni’s cute screams (AHHHhhh) filled the van, her body exposed in her underwear as the managers continued their assault. The managers smelled her underwear, it seems it was already wet, it smell good. The 6th manager, a 45-year-old with a cruel smirk, forced his mouth onto hers, kissing her with a brutal intensity that bruised her already swollen lips, his teeth biting down hard enough to draw more blood, his tongue invading her mouth as she gagged, her cries muffled by the violent kiss.
“You’ll learn to keep your mouth shut,” he growled against her lips, his voice dripping with malice as he punched her in the ribs, the crack of bone audible as Hanni sobbed, her body trembling from the relentless beating in the confined space of the van, the journey to the hotel a prelude to the horrors that awaited her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Upon arriving at a private penthouse suite in a luxury hotel, the managers dragged Hanni inside, her torn clothes hanging off her in tatters, her body already bruised from the beatings in the van.
The suite was dimly lit, a large bed dominating the center of the room, surrounded by a table laden with sinister tools: a bullwhip, belts with heavy buckles, some knifes, a cattle prod, a basin of water, a small branding iron with the HYPE logo, multiple metal rods of varying sizes, a spiked dildo, and a metal gag for oral torture.
A mirror was positioned to reflect the bed, amplifying the sense of exposure and dread that consumed Hanni as she was thrown onto the floor, the door locking with a heavy click behind them.
Her breath caught in her throat as the 1st manager stepped forward, his voice a chilling growl that echoed in the oppressive silence. “You thought you could go to court and expose us?” he began, his tone seething with anger, his fists clenching at his sides.
“You’re nothing but our slave, Hanni, and tonight, we’re going to break you for your betrayal. You’ll never think of defying HYPE again.” Hanni’s eyes filled with tears, her voice trembling as she pleaded, her body shaking uncontrollably, blood dripping from her split lip. “I’m so sorry… I just wanted it to stop… please, don’t do this! I’ll drop the case, I swear!”
But her words were met with a cruel laugh from the 2nd manager, his fingers caressing the bullwhip with a twisted fondness. “You’ve crossed a line,” he sneered, his voice dripping with malice. “You’re going to wish you’d never opened your mouth in that courtroom.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It began with a ferocity that left Hanni reeling, the managers’ rage over her court action fueling their power to unprecedented levels.
The 2nd manager smashed the bullwhip with savage force, striking her back, each lash splitting her skin, drawing bruises, the sound of the whip cracking against her flesh mingling with her screams of agony.
She stumbled forward, her hands reaching to shield herself, but the 4th manager grabbed her arms and held her in place, his grip like iron as the lashes continued, her back becoming a mess of welts and open wounds.
“You think you can betray HYPE?” the 2nd manager roared, delivering another lash that left a deep welt across her lower back which left a high amount of huge open wounds in her back.
“You’re nothing, Hanni! You’ll pay for this!” Hanni sobbed hysterically, her body trembling as she gasped, “I’m sorry… please, stop… I’ll drop the case!” The 1st manager watched with a cold smile, his voice cutting through her cries like a blade. “It’s too late for that. Keep going—forty lashes. Make her bleed for her betrayal.”
The whipping continued, each strike tearing into her flesh, her cries echoing through the suite as the managers unleashed their fury.
The punishment escalated as the 4th manager released her arms, only to deliver a series of brutal punches to her stomach and ribs, his fists slamming into her with such force that she doubled over, gasping for air, her body wracked with pain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 5th manager joined in, landing a vicious punch to her face, splitting her already swollen lip further and causing a very little small amount of blood to gush down her chin, her head snapping back from the impact, her cheek swelling instantly. “You thought you could ruin us?” the 5th manager snarled, his voice filled with rage as he grabbed her hair and punched her again, this time in the jaw, the crack of bone audible as Hanni cried out, her face a mess of bruises and saliva coming out from her mouth .
The 6th manager kicked her legs out from under her, sending her crashing to the floor, where he and the 7th manager, a 41-year-old, began beating her with their fists and feet, targeting her face, stomach, thighs, and arms, leaving bruises and welts on every inch of her exposed skin.
“This is what happens when you betray HYPE!” the 7th manager shouted, his voice a mix of anger and sadistic glee as he stomped on her stomach, making her retch from the pain, her body curling into a fetal position as she begged, “Please… stop… I can’t take it…”
But the 1st manager’s voice was unyielding. “You’ll take everything we give you,” he said coldly. “You’re our slave, and you’ll learn your place.”
This took darker turns as the managers focused on Hanni’s mouth, their rage manifesting in a brutal assault on her oral cavity, determined to punish her for speaking out in court.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 3rd manager grabbed a metal gag from the table, forcing it into Hanni’s mouth and securing it tightly, the rod stretching her jaw painfully wide, her muffled cries filling the room as drool and some blood began to drip down her chin, her lips already swollen and bleeding from the earlier punches and forced kissing in the van.
“Let’s destroy her mouth for talking to the court,” the 3rd manager sneered, his voice filled with malice as he motioned to the 2nd manager, who stepped forward with a sadistic grin.
The 2nd manager forced his dick into Hanni’s mouth, the metal gag preventing her from closing her jaw as he thrust deep into her throat, the deepthroat causing her to gag violently, her eyes watering as she struggled to breathe, her throat burning from the punishment.
“Choke on it, you little traitor,” the 2nd manager growled, his hands gripping her hair as he thrust harder, the tip of his dick hitting the back of her throat with brutal force, her gag reflex triggering repeatedly as she retched, vomits and saliva mixing as her throat was ravaged.
The 5th manager joined in, forcing his dick into her mouth alongside the 2nd manager’s, the two of them stretching her mouth to its limits, her lips splitting further from the strain, vomits gushing as they fucked her throat with no regard for her suffering.
“Look at her mouth—ruined for HYPE,” the 5th manager laughed, his voice cruel as he thrust deeper, making Hanni choke and gag, her face turning red from lack of air. The 6th manager grabbed a small whip, using it to lash the sides of her face as they deepthroated her, the strikes leaving red welts on her cheeks, her muffled screams vibrating against their dicks as they continued their punishment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 8th manager then took another thin metal rod, and forced it into her mouth, the metal searing her tongue and the inside of her cheeks, her muffled screams intensifying as the heat blistered her oral cavity, her mouth destroyed by the relentless fucking, beating, and deep throat fucks, lots of vomits and saliva pooling on the floor beneath her.
Looks like the punishment escalated further as the managers turned their attention to Hanni’s body, their sadism reaching new heights.
The 4th manager stepped forward with a belt, the metal buckle glinting ominously, striking Hanni’s stomach and thighs with the buckle, the sharp edges cutting into her skin, leaving jagged marks and deep bruises, her body jerking with each blow as she lay on the floor, still gagged and choking from the deepthroat assault. The 8th started fucking her, searing pain making her scream "AAAA noooo" through the gag, the sound muffled but piercing as the smell of her body filled the room, her body convulsing as the beatings left a permanent scar, marking her as HYPE’s property.
“You’ll always belong to HYPE,” the 8th manager said, his voice devoid of empathy. “You’ll never escape us now.” Hanni’s muffled screams turned to whimpers, her mind reeling from the pain as she gasped through the gag, “Mmmph… mmmph… I’ll die.. Please i'm sorry, I,'ll tell the court I lied…”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But the 1st manager’s response was merciless. “You’ll take it all, Hanni,” he said coldly. “You’re our toy to break for what you did.”
Hanni’s cries were incoherent through the gag, her body limp as the pain overwhelmed her.
The punishment took a darker, more sexual turn as the managers removed the gag, leaving Hanni’s mouth raw, blistered from the deepthroat and metal rod, her lips swollen and torn, her throat so damaged that she could barely speak.
They forced her onto the bed, positioning her on her hands and knees.
Now, they tied her up in the bed. Her wrists and ankles tied to the bedposts with rough ropes that cut into her skin, leaving her spread-eagled and vulnerable, her bruised and weak trembling as she begged for mercy, her voice barely a whisper through her destroyed mouth.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Let’s show her what happens to traitors who betray HYPE,” the 1st manager said, his voice dripping with malice. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th managers positioned themselves at her lower end, their intentions clear as they prepared for triple penetration in her vagina. Hanni’s eyes widened in terror, her voice a desperate plea through her ruined mouth. “Please, no… I can’t… it’s too much…” But her cries were ignored as the three managers forced themselves into her pussy simultaneously, the sheer size and force of the three dicks tearing her apart, her vagina stretched beyond its limits, she started to pee as she could not control.. Her urine went mixing with the dicks in the triple penetration, mixing with her cries as they thrust brutally, their movements synchronized to maximize her pain. Hanni screamed in agony, her body convulsing as the pain ripped through her, the triple penetration a new level of torment compared to the sexual encounters she’d endured in the past, her vagina is destroyer profusely as they fucked her more deep.
“Take it, you little whore,” the 2nd manager growled, his voice filled with sadistic pleasure. “This is what you get for going to court!”
Simultaneously, the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th managers focused on her asshole, their punishment reaching new heights as they forced four dicks into her anus at once, which is not logically or scientifically possible, but they managed to do it, gaping her asshole off to human limits, the sheer volume and force causing excruciating pain as her asshole was stretched beyond capacity, the pain far worse than anything she’d experienced in their previous encounters.
Hanni’s screams turned to guttural wails, her body shaking violently as the four managers thrust into her shithole with no regard for her, their anger at her betrayal driving their brutality, their dicks filling her anus completely, the pressure causing her anal walls to tear, feces seeping out as her asshole was destroyed. “Look at her shithole stretch,” the 5th manager laughed, his voice cruel. “She thought she could betray HYPE? Let’s destroy her!” The 7th manager added, “Keep going—let’s see how much she can take before it breaks.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The relentless fucking tore her anal walls further, the pain so intense that Hanni’s vision blurred, her mind fracturing under the assault, the four dicks in her asshole creating a scene of unimaginable part, her body unable to cope with the sheer volume and force. The pressure and damage caused her bowels to release, her feces leaking out onto the bed, mixing with the fluids as the managers continued their punishment for Hanni, their laughter filling the room. “Disgusting little traitor,” the 8th manager sneered, thrusting harder. “Your shithole is ours to ruin.”
This continues as her asshole intensified as the 6th manager grabbed a large, spiked dildo from the table, its surface covered in sharp protrusions designed to inflict maximum pain, and forced it into Hanni’s already destroyed shithole, the spikes tearing into her anal walls as he thrust it in and out.. Hanni screamed the loudest in agony, her voice hoarse from the earlier deepthroat. “Feel that, you little bitch?” the 6th manager taunted, his voice filled with sadistic glee. “This is what happens when you betray HYPE.”
The 7th manager then took a metal rod, heating it over a flame until it glowed red-hot, and forced it into her anus alongside the spiked dildo, the burning metal searing her anal walls, causing Hanni to scream louder than ever, her body convulsing as the pain seared through her, the heat blistering her insides as more liquids poured out from her anus which left gaping and unusable.
The 5th manager grabbed another heated metal rod, forcing it into her vagina, the burning metal searing her vaginal walls, the pain so intense that Hanni’s screams turned to incoherent wails, her body shaking uncontrollably as the heat blistered her insides, the penetrations and burning rod creating a scene of unimaginable sadism, her vagina and anus both destroyed by the relentless fuckings.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 7th manager dragged Hanni’s head to the edge of the bed, positioning her so that her head hung off the side, her mouth forced open as he and the 8th manager took turns deepthroating her again, their dicks thrusting into her throat.. They took 3 large dildos and tried to insert it on her mouth too.. two dicks and 3 dildos stretching her mouth to its limits, her lips tearing further, vomits and saliva mixing with the burns as they fucked her throat, her gag reflex triggering repeatedly as she choked, her face turning more red from lack of air. “Look at her mouth—completely ruined,” the 7th manager laughed, his voice cruel as he thrust deeper, making Hanni choke and gag, her destroyed mouth.
The scene is still the same, Hanni on her hands and knees, tied to the bedposts, her body a mess of her body waste, bruises, and burns. Three managers—the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th—were at her lower end, their dicks triple-penetrating her vagina, then after that they insert a heated metal rod forced in, burning her vaginal walls and again taking it out as they thrust brutally, her pussy torn.
Similarly Four managers—the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th—were at her anus, their four dicks filling her shithole, a spiked dildo and another heated metal rod forced in as well after, tearing and burning her anal walls, liquids and feces leaking out as her anus was destroyed.
The 7th and 8th managers were also at her head, their dicks deepthroating her alongside the 3 dildos burning her mouth and throat as they fucked her face, her lips torn and blistered, vomits and saliva gushing as her mouth was ruined, the mirror reflecting the scene of 8 men destroying her body in every way possible.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally to end it, the 7th manager dragged Hanni to the toilet.. There was a bathtub of water, they took her there, tying her hands behind her back, her swollen lips and destroyed mouth trembling as she begged for mercy through her ruined oral cavity.
He forced her face onto the bathtub full of water, poured more water over it, waterboarding her until she choked and gasped, her body thrashing in panic, the water mixing with her destroyed mouth.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Feel that, Hanni?” the 7th manager taunted, pouring more water as she struggled to breathe. “This is what happens when you betray HYPE. You’re nothing—just a toy for us to destroy.”
Hanni’s voice was a desperate wheeze as she begged, “I can’t… breathe… please…” The 5th manager, still recording, laughed coldly. “Keep going. I want to capture her breaking completely.” The waterboarding left Hanni trembling, her mind fractured by the terror of near-drowning, her body soaked and shivering as the managers moved on to the next torment. Hanni was feeling like she was getting drowned in a river.
The managers then pissed onto the water bathtub, further more degrading Hanni as they forced her face inside the water more, letting her drink the water mixed with their piss.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
The final layer of torment was psychological, designed to shatter Hanni’s mind as thoroughly as her body. The managers forced her to face the mirror, making her watch as they continued their acts, her reflection of the image of her in waste, burns, bruises, blood, a destroyed mouth, and a ruined gapped anus . The 5th manager played back the recorded footage on a screen, forcing her to relive her screams and cries, his voice mocking as he spoke, the camera zooming in on her swollen lips and blistered mouth. “Say it, Hanni,” he demanded, his tone cruel. “Say you’re a worthless slave who deserves this for betraying HYPE.”
Hanni’s voice was a broken whisper through her destroyed mouth as she repeated, “I’m… a worthless slave… I deserve this… for betraying HYPE…” The 4th manager laughed, his voice dripping with contempt. “That’s right. You’re nothing without us. You’ll never forget this night.” They took turns degrading her, calling her vile names and forcing her to beg for more pain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hours later, the punishment finally ended, leaving Hanni a broken shell on the floor of the suite, her body a canvas of unimaginable horror—deep welts and lacerations from the whip, jagged cuts and bruises from the belt buckles, punches, and beatings, a branded HYPE logo on her hip, the word “HYPE” carved into her thigh, burns from the electric shocks and heated metal rods, a destroyed mouth with swollen, and blistered lips and a throat raw from deepthroating and burning, a vagina torn and burned from the triple penetration and metal rod, and a ruined anus that gaped open, from the four dicks, spiked dildo, and burning rod. Her body was a testament, every inch of her marked by their cruelty. She was barely conscious, her mind shattered by the psychological torment, her voice reduced to faint whimpers as she muttered through her ruined mouth, “I’ll be good… I’ll do anything…”
The 1st manager is satisfied. “She’s done,” he said, his voice devoid of emotion. “We’ve broken her completely. She’ll never betray HYPE again.”
the 2nd manager smirked, putting the whip away. “She was fun to break. Too bad she’s such a mess now—hope she can still perform.”
The 5th manager stopped the recording, his voice smug. “This footage will keep her in check. If she ever tries to go to court again, we’ll release it. She’s ours forever now.”
The 7th manager glanced at Hanni’s broken form, his tone indifferent. “Get her cleaned up enough to move. We can’t have her like this on us yet—she’s got more events to do for HYPE.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The managers called in a private doctor loyal to HYPE, who patched Hanni up —cleaning her wounds, bandaging the worst cuts, stitching her torn lips, and giving her painkillers to dull the agony, though her destroyed anus, vagina, and mouth were left untreated, the damage too severe for immediate repair. They did care about her long-term recovery but as for now, they only needed her for her next scheduled appearance, her value to HYPE tied to her ability to perform, even in her broken state.
They dressed her in a long-sleeved outfit to cover the marks, applied heavy makeup to hide the bruises and swelling on her face, and told her to act normal at her next event, using the recorded footage as leverage, the images of her destroyed mouth, body, and leaking anus a constant threat.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Days later, Hanni was forced to attend a small fan signing session, ofcourse she was not able to walk.. Haerin, Daniellie, Hyein are confused why Hanni was acting weird.
her body still in agony, her wounds fresh and some infected, her anus, vagina, and mouth so damaged that she could barely sit or speak. She was heavily medicated with painkillers and sedatives, her movements slow and her expression vacant, but she gave a weak smile for the fans, her hands trembling as she signed autographs, her swollen lips making her speech slurred and barely intelligible.
A fan approached, her voice bright with excitement. “Hanni, you’re my favorite! You looked so happy at the last event—I love your peace sign pose!” Hanni’s voice was monotone as she replied, her words barely audible through her ruined mouth, “Thank you… I’m glad you liked it…” Her mind flashed back to the punishes, her body aching beneath the makeup and long sleeves, the pain in her destroyed shithole, pussy, and mouth a constant reminder of her punishment. The 1st manager stood nearby, his voice a harsh whisper. “Keep smiling, Hanni. Don’t let them see what a mess you are. You know what happens if you betray HYPE again.” Hanni nodded slightly, her voice barely audible through her swollen, blistered lips. “Yes, sir… I’ll be good…”

🌙 Moon in Synastry: How You Emotionally Connect (or Clash) 💥
Note: First of all, these are my personal observations based on client readings and what I have observed in real life relationships whether flings, short-term romances, long-term commitments, or marriages. We will be looking into both good and the shadow side of it. No single synastry aspect determines if a relationship is “meant to be” or if someone is your soulmate. True soulmates won’t bring you constant pain, abuse, emotional neglect, or detachment. They won’t harm you, manipulate you, or make you question your worth.
Now, with that said… let’s dive into today's post!
Moon in Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) 🔥- You feel first, think later. Both outbursts and passionate affection are all part of the package. If partner can’t keep up with your energy, you’ll get bored fast. If both of you have fire moons, you’ll either ignite a romance or burn it down.
Moon in Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) 🌬️- You process feelings by talking it out… forever. Space and freedom are your emotional love language with some occasional tears. If partner is clingy, your flight mode gets activated. If both of you have air moons, your love notes will be text essays and memes.
Moon in Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) 🌿- Stability > emotional drama. Love here is shown thru practical actions. You bottle up emotions until…well, you explode in the most rational way possible. If partner isn’t dependable, you check out emotionally. If both of you have earth moons, you’re basically a power couple with a solid 401(k).
Moon in Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) 🌊- Your emotions run deeper than the Mariana Trench. When hurt, you withdraw into your emotional shell…for years. You crave soul-connections but somehow 9/10 times attracts toxic people successfully. If both of you have water moons, the relationship feels destined, intense, and occasionally exhausting.
Moon through the houses:
Moon in 1st -
The Moon person emotions are all over your identity. The house person feels seen and accepted. Instant emotional connection. They can read your moods before you even speak. Feels like you've known each other forever. The house person would feel emotionally tied together.
The Moon person might be too emotionally reactive to house person’s moods. If emotions aren't mutual, one person might feel suffocated. House person might feel too exposed or emotionally overwhelmed. Can lead to codependency if not balanced.
Moon in 2nd -
The Moon person sees the house person as their personal emotional ATM like the withdrawals of comfort and security guaranteed! If you both love practical romance think home-cooked meals and doing something together, this is a dream come true. The Moon person truly adores the house person and sees them attractive and their "type".
The Moon person might get a little too comfy, treating the house person like an emotional vending machine. The house person could become way too possessive. True love is priceless, but this overlay might make it feel like it comes with a price tag. House person could feel like they are taken advantage of by the Moon person.
Moon in 3rd -
Conversations just flow, it’s like your brains are on the same Wi-Fi network. The Moon person gets the house person’s way of thinking, no explanations needed. The bond is fun, light, and effortlessly supportive. Both of you laughs at the same dumb jokes or have deep talks.
The connection can feel more bestie with emotional perks/benefits than fiery soulmate passion. The Moon person could get a little too invested in the house person's daily life. One of you might feel the other is too chatty and just won't shut up about things.
Moon in 4th -
There is a weird sense of "I know you". Deep emotional security, like an invisible weighted blanket wrapped around both of you. Feels heartwarming and like family. If you both love intensity, this is the ride-or-die emotional bond.
Family-level fights. Emotional abuse. You know, the kind where only they can trigger your childhood wounds in 0.2 seconds. Emotional baggage unpacked right in the middle of your relationship. The Moon person might behave like an overbearing parent making the house person feel like "Why can't I breathe around you?"
Moon in 5th -
The Moon person sees the house person as pure romantic magic even their bad hair days look artistic. The Moon person is like head over heels for the house person. feels like young, child-like love no matter their age.
The Moon person might idolize the house person a little too much. Responsibilities take a backseat. If the house person doesn’t return the emotional warmth, the Moon person feels like a sad poet. Common in one-sided relationships.
Moon in 6th -
The Moon person feels like it's their mission is to take care of the house person. One of you is always looking out for the other, which can be adorable. If you have a shared goal, dream team vibes! You get stuff done. This overlay can create a nurturing, stable relationship.
The Moon person can sacrifice too much and then passive-aggressively sulk about it. It can feel more like a boss/employee dynamic than romance unless you’re into that. If either of you lacks boundaries, this turns into resentment city fast. The Moon person micromanages the house person's daily life. The house person might start expecting favors and the Moon person could feel like an unpaid intern.
Moon in 7th -
This overlay feels like slipping into your favorite cozy hoodie, it's safe, familiar, and warm. The house person naturally wants to be around the Moon person. Relationship flows like a well-balanced duet as you complete each other. One of the strongest overlays for long-term commitment.
If one person takes the other for granted, resentment brews like bad coffee. The Moon person may get emotionally clingy, which can suffocate the house person. One of you is suppressing their emotions and simply compromise to keep the peace.
Moon in 8th -
You’re drawn to each other like moths to a forbidden flame. Unspoken understanding like you can read each other’s soul files. A transformational relationship whether that’s growth or destruction depends on you. The whole dark romance package.
Feels less like romance, more like a crime-of-passion waiting to happen. Triggers all the buried baggage like insecurities, jealousy and all. Couples who are one and off for years and can't really let go of each other has this overlay.
Moon in 9th -
You bond over big ideas, deep convos, and shared worldviews. Mutual growth like adventuring together, mentally or literally. Long-distance isn't a problem as your connection transcends miles. The house person feels inspired like a guru with their most devoted follower.
Moon person might feel inferior, house person might feel pressured to be amazing 24/7. Too much idealism on one or both sides. May turn into a motivational speaker/fan club dynamic instead of romance.
Moon in 10th -
There is mutual respect for each other’s achievements and professional goals. One of you might be the ultimate trophy for the other’s success story. Practical and productive. No time for emotional drama. If you’re both goal-oriented, you’re the dream team.
Trophy wife/husband vibes can get a little too shallow for comfort. Emotional distance and self-serving tendencies may leave one or both of you feeling a bit disconnected. Not the best for intimacy unless your charts have other affectionate touches.
Moon in 11th -
You meet, and it’s like you’ve known each other forever. You both feel like you can show your true selves without worrying about the judgment. You see the house person as your dream come true, and they feel the same way about you. No grudges. You can never really stay mad at each other it's like you’re permanently in good vibes mode.
It's the “castle in the air.” Sometimes it feels like a fairytale that might be a bit too dreamy/one-sided. You both might live in an idealized bubble and overlook real issues. One or both of you is just daydreaming about the relationship without doing anything in reality.
Moon in 12th -
You connect on a soul-deep level, it's mysterious, intense, and possibly otherworldly. Both partners are attuned to each other's needs, with an almost telepathic understanding. The relationship invites raw, unfiltered emotional expression, fostering a strong bond. There's immense potential for healing and growth together.
The Moon person always feels like the house person is hiding something even if they’re not. This overlay's a paranoia central. It’s like a dark cloud of suspicion hanging over everything, no logical reason, just gut feelings. Accusations fly between both of you. Every little misunderstanding hits deep, and healing’s tough. The survival rate for this overlay is low unless you’ve got the emotional fortitude of a zen master.

In this post, we’re focusing on the third house—the house of communication, learning, networking, and creative expression. This house reveals how you connect with others, share ideas, and navigate the flow of information in your life. Glowing up your third house means refining your communication style, building meaningful relationships, and embracing your creative voice to express yourself with confidence and purpose.

Aries in the third house brings a fiery and straightforward energy to speech and communication. You’re naturally confident and unafraid to speak your mind, often becoming the initiator in conversations. However, this boldness can sometimes come across as blunt or impatient, especially in situations where others need more time to process ideas.
To glow up in your speech, focus on tempering your directness with empathy and tact. While your assertiveness is a strength, learning to listen as much as you speak will enhance your effectiveness as a communicator. Practice active listening and consider the emotional tone of your words, ensuring that your message inspires rather than overwhelms.

Nintendo Admits Switch 2 Will Just Be Two Switch 1s Duct-Taped Together
FIJMU News 1-30-25 by Don Kiqong
Gamers were shocked today by a downed electrical cable to learn that the upcoming Nintendo console, the "Switch 2" would in fact be two Switch 1s crudely duct-taped together.
According to Nintendo Spokeswoman Sue Purenies, "Duct tape contains a network of fiber optic cable, that's that fabric-like material inside. It is in fact the fastest way to connect the doubled Switch CPUs, GPUs, and PP-PUPUs." Still, fans are wary of the lack of new material. According to video game enthusiast Vito Gemanthusyis, "Bullshit, it better have ten times the processing power, memory, resolution, frame rate, and new plastic smell of a PS5 or I'm boycotting Nintendo forever."
Purenies responded to Vito, "Nuh-Uh," to which he replied, "K."

↠ check out the rest of the tracklist here! ↞
You sat in the living room of your go-to frat house, Delta Pi. It became a routine for you and your friends to go. You always teased Eumji that she just missed Choi Jongho. They weren’t a couple by any means, but every time you went, they ended up cuddling together. Maybe it was just the alcohol that made them think they had some connection.
The same could be said about Minjoo, but her connection was with Choi San. He was friendly but definitely a playboy; it was hard to find him without a girl following him. You didn’t have much of a connection with anyone at the frat. Sometimes, your eyes would shift to look at Song Mingi. You knew nothing about him other than the fact that he was consistently high and ridiculously attractive.
You heard a giggle from Minjoo and looked over at her. “Go talk to him,” She looked at you as you shook your head quickly. “Who?” San questioned. “No one,” You looked at him quickly. He was the last person you would want in your business. “Mingi,” Eumji chimed in. You couldn’t help but facepalm. “Thanks, guys,” You groaned.
Jongho laughed a bit. “Really? Mingi?” He sounded surprised as your cheeks flushed. “I’ve never talked to him; it’s just a thing where he’s nice to look at.” You sound shameful as you talked about him. “Hey Mingi!” San called out to him as your eyes widened. “I’m sure he’s busy; you have a full house tonight,” You looked at San, a bit of panic in your eyes.
He shrugged, his arm draped over Minjoo’s shoulder. You stared at the ground in front of you. You never wanted to interact with him. He was just a piece of eye candy for you to savor at these parties. You heard the noise of hands being clapped together and the strong smell of weed. Mingi actually came over here.
You felt your heart racing, and your brain was turning over, trying to think of possible ways to have a conversation. “Hey, it’s Y/N, right?” Mingi stood over where you were sitting on the floor. You turned to look up at him and nodded slightly. God, he was tall. He squatted down and looked at you. “Do you smoke?” He fixed his hair as he asked you.
Jongho tried to hold back laughter at his question. You shrugged and looked at Mingi, “occasionally.” You weren’t trying to stare, but you couldn’t help yourself. He was even more beautiful up close. “Want to get a drink?” He offered, standing back up. “Sure,” you nodded.
He put his hand out for you to take, and you did. You carefully made your way through people until you got to the kitchen. “Sorry if San and Jongho were giving you a hard time,” he smiled at you as he poured you a drink. “Oh, it’s okay. I’m used to them,” you smiled back and took a sip of what he handed you.
“Here,” he smiled and handed you a pre-roll. “You can smoke it here if you want or save it for another time.” You nodded as you looked at it. “Thanks,” you looked at him, trying to hide your confused look.
“Y/N!” Your headshot in the direction of your friend calling out your name. You pushed through people to see what was going on. Your anxiety rose as you could only think that something terrible happened to her. You stopped in your tracks as you saw Eumji with her tongue almost shoved down Jongho’s throat, and there was Minjoo.
Just lounging in San’s arms with a bright, innocent smile. “Good, you’re both here,” She sat up slightly. You looked over your shoulder to see that Mingi had followed you to the cry of your name. “What’s the problem?” You questioned as she smiled. “Let’s play truth or dare,” Eumji, San, and Jongho supported her idea, which didn’t surprise you.
“Okay,” Mingi shrugged before taking a seat in a chair next to the couch. You sat on the floor across from him. “Oh, we need a bottle!” Minjoo looked around as San picked up his beer from earlier, which he hadn’t finished. He finished it and then smiled. “Here you are,” he put it in the center of the circle you were sitting in.
Eumji quickly spun it, watching it land on San. “Truth or dare?” She grinned. “Dare,” he said after thinking for a moment. She leaned over to whisper with Jongho. “Alright, San, your dare is to drink a small cup with a bit of each liquor.” He nodded and watched as Minjoo ran off to get his cup. She smiled as she handed it to him. “Bottoms up,” Mingi teased.
San threw his head back, drinking it without hesitation. He groaned in disgust and spun the bottle. “Alright, Eumji. Truth or dare?” She tapped her chin, making her decision. “Truth,” she nodded. San chuckled to himself. “What is your body count?” You watched her cheeks flush at his bold question. “Two,” she nodded, her voice full of confidence as he nodded. Only you could see San and Jongho give each other a look. Jongho must’ve been curious but didn’t want to be the one to ask the question.
Eumji spun the bottle. You watched it carefully. Dread filled you as you watched it slow down, the neck of the bottle pointing directly at you. Minjoo squealed. “Truth or dare?” Eumji looked smug as she asked you. “Dare,” You nodded. “Let me ask!” Minjoo raised her hand, shaking it in the air as Eumji nodded. Minjoo grinned after getting the permission and looked over at you. “I dare you to make out with Mingi,”
Your face started to go pale within a few moments. Your eyes raised just enough to look at him. He looked over at you, patting his lap. You got up carefully, walking over to him. He sat up from his overly relaxed position. You carefully climbed onto his lap, both of your knees digging into the furniture as you didn’t want to sit on him entirely.
His hand wrapped around you to hold the small of your back, pulling you down until your ass met his thighs. Your body heated up from his touch as you moved to meet his lips, which quickly latched onto yours. His hand traveled to your ass for a quick second, squeezing gently. You gasped quietly, just loud enough for him to hear, as his tongue moved into your mouth. Your tongue began to dance with his. He couldn’t help but hum in satisfaction with you.
He bit your bottom lip, pulling gently before you moved away from him. Your cheeks were flushed, and he sat there smiling up at you as if he didn’t just kiss you like that. You cleared your throat as you sat down on the couch next to him. You looked over at Eumji as she spun the bottle for you. “Jongho!” She cheered. “Truth or dare?”
You couldn’t focus on the game anymore. Every time you shut your eyes, you could feel his hands as if they were ghosting on your skin. His rosy, plump lips on yours. You pressed your lips together, trying to get those thoughts out of your mind. “Y/N?” You looked over at Minjoo. “Truth,” You subconsciously answered. “We stopped playing,” Minjoo looked at you concerned as you nodded, looking around to see everyone just casually talking.
“Are you okay?” She couldn’t help but question as you nodded, fixing your hair. “I’m just going to get a drink,” You walked out to the kitchen, pouring yourself a drink. “Y/N?” You heard that deep velvet voice and looked over at him. “Oh, Hey,” You felt so awkward as you spoke, taking a sip of your drink after. “I can’t stop thinking about it,” He looked at you, reading your expression as you nodded.
“Me either,” You confessed. “Want to come up to my room?” He looked down at you. Your heart rate increased at his offer. “Sure,” You looked at him and followed. You walked carefully up the creaking stairs and down the hall. He opened the door to his room. You couldn’t help but look around. He must’ve had the best room the place had to offer. It was a quick assumption just seeing the big bay window that faced the backyard but you felt like you were right.
“I pay most of the rent,” he laughed a bit as you nodded, you didn’t say much but it did feel nice getting the satisfaction of being right. “That makes sense,” your eyes shifted over to him as he stood there. He was looking at you, too. The room was dim, only lit up by the moonlight creeping through the window. He walked closer to you.
The tension between you was becoming more tense as you stood there looking at each other. His hand firmly held your side as he leaned down, his lips finally meeting yours. Your lips started to weave with his as you held onto his arms. He pulled you close to him, not letting you go as he lifted you. Your breath hitched, not expecting to be airborne, as he took you to his bed.
You looked at him as he moved away from your lips. A look of ‘why did you pull away’ in your eyes as he leaned back down, crashing his lips into yours. His touch was so simple, yet it made your stomach do backflips. His tongue moving with yours was making you go mad. You wanted more of him now that you’ve had a taste. You couldn’t stop yourself as you pushed his shirt up. He didn’t hesitate as he pulled it off and tossed it to the other side of the room.
He watched as you pulled your shirt off and pulled him closer to the bed so you could straddle him. You held his shoulders as you kissed him again, moaning softly as you could feel his length hardening underneath you. He held your hips as his lips traveled down your neck, nipping at parts of your collarbone. You couldn’t help but start grinding on his length.
He groaned, leading your hips against the thick fleece material of his pants. “You’re fucking huge,” You whispered in his ear as he smirked. Leaving open mouth kisses on your neck. “Fuck me,” You moved, so he had to look at you. A serious look on your eyes as you stared into his. You loved foreplay but fuck; it was becoming agonizing. You just wanted him to ram you.
He raised an eyebrow hearing you say that. Even if you were barely acquaintances, he didn’t see you as the type to mutter those words. “Yeah?” He chuckled, holding your hips on his lap. “Strip for me,” He rasped in your ear. You climbed off of him quickly, stripping yourself of your clothes. The ache between your thighs was growing stronger as you waited for him to strip.
He sat on the bed, using his hands to hold his body up as he leaned back. He bit his bottom lip, looking you up and down. “You’re so hot,” He looked at you. Your cheeks flushed. “It’s your turn,” You looked at him, gesturing to his pants, which he still had on. He nodded and stood up. Your eyes were glued to him, watching as he stripped himself of his clothes.
Your eyes widened as you saw his huge cock standing tall in front of your eyes. You looked up at him, watching as he sat down, laying back on his pillows. “Come here,” He put his hand out to you as the other began stroking his dick. You walked over, and he had you straddle him once again.
You looked at him as he held your hips. Your nerves were on fire as you sank down. Moaning at just the feeling of his thick head entering you. He groaned softly, feeling your walls stretch out to fit his girth inside. “Fuck! Mingi!” You cursed as you slowly moved down more. “You're so fucking wet,” He hissed. Your legs were already shaking at your body being adjusted to him.
His hands moved, gripping your ass. “You okay?” He checked in as he studied your face, which was a mixture of pain and pleasure from the pressure he was creating inside of you. You nodded in response as he smirked. “Good,” He held your ass and moved his hips carefully. With each light jerk, he was filling you more and more. “‘s so tight,” He groaned.
Your body moved to lay flush with his as he held your hips for him to buck his hips up into yours. You could only moan out in response to each hard thrust into your dripping wet cunt. Both of your breathing grow heavier and heavier with each movement. “So fucking good,” You cried out. His hands moved quickly to cover your mouth. “Shhh, I’m going to have to stop if you’re too loud. Still a party downstairs,” He looked at you, waiting to continue snapping his hips back into yours.
You nodded slowly. He moved his hand off your mouth slowly. “Get off, I want to fuck you differently,” He whispered. You nodded as he quickly moved you. Carefully pushing his hands on your shoulders, making an arch for him. “God, your pussy is perfect,” He groaned, smacking your hole with his head lightly. Your breath hitched as he quickly stuffed his cock back inside of you.
He kept an unrelenting tempo as his room filled with the sounds of skin slapping and your muffled sobs. “Mingi,” You whined as he smacked your ass. “I’m gonna come,” You cried out, uncovering your mouth as he kept his pace. Holding your hips tightly, “Me too. Where do you want me to come?” He groaned. “W-wherever,” You stuttered as your walls clenched against his cock.
“Fuck,” He growled as you whimpered, that wave of pleasure coming to rush over. “J-jus’ like that,” You whined as he kept going. Listening to your cries of pleasure as you came. He pulled out quickly. Emptying himself on your back as you panted. He reached over to his nightstand and grabbed tissues. “Are you okay?” He questioned as he wiped your back off. You nodded against his sheets as he threw out the tissues.
“I’m sorry if it was too much,” he lightheartedly laughed. “Not at all,” you shook your head quickly. You heard the flick of a lighter, and that earthy smell filled the room as you sat up. “Want some?” He looked over at you. You nodded and took the pre-roll he was handing to you. You took a hit and then passed it back.
“Can I ask you something?” Mingi spoke up, and you nodded. “What’s your very first memory?” He took another hit as you furrowed your brows. “I don’t know. Maybe a family vacation?” You shrugged, thinking. You looked over at him, lying down next to him. “What’s yours?” You questioned, taking the joint out of his hand to get a second hit.
He thought about it, squinting his eyes as if he were trying to see the memory. “Maybe one of the times I was at my Grandma’s house. I loved going to her house when I was a kid,” He nodded as you handed him his joint back. You heard a knock on the door and jumped, covering yourself with the covers quickly. Mingi carefully pulled the covers over his lap. “What?” He called out.
“Just letting you know everyone is leaving, and you’re on clean-up duty this time,” San spoke through the door as Mingi hummed in response. You looked over at him as he stood up to grab his clothes. You did the same and dressed yourself. “I can help,” You looked over at him. “With what?” He questioned as he walked to the door. “With cleaning up,” You smiled at him, and he shook his head. “Nope,” He tapped your nose gently.
That simple action made your heart flutter as he walked out his door. “I want you to get home safe, okay?” He looked at you as you carefully walked behind him. “Are you sure?” You questioned as he nodded quickly. “Do you have a jacket?” He looked at your small crop top with concerned eyes as you shook your head. “I’ll be okay,” You smiled at him. “Nope,” He ran over to the closet and came back with one of his hoodies. “Take this. I’m sure I’ll see you again.”
You held it and saw him watching, waiting for you to put it on. You pulled the hoodie over and smiled softly. “Okay, get home safely,” He walked you to the door and watched as you left. You sighed happily to yourself as you held your hands in the pocket.
You tried to push out the scenes that played in your head from that night. Even just walking to class, those filthy thoughts filled your mind. The way he felt, how he held you and kissed you. It was all so surreal to you. You tried to keep your hopes low for now. It could easily just be a simple hookup and nothing more. You fixed your hair as you saw Mingi walking by with a few friends. You smiled softly, not knowing if he would respond to you.
“Hey!” Mingi smiled brightly at you as you continued on your way. “Wait, Y/N,” He caught up and held your arm gently. “Hey, Mingi,” You smiled at him, adjusting the bag on your shoulders. “I was wondering,” He scratched the back of his head as he looked at the ground. “Can I get your number?” He looked up at you. Your cheeks flushed as you nodded. “Yeah, of course,” You quickly responded as he pulled out his phone and handed it to you.
He watched as you typed and smiled softly. “Is that my hoodie?” he questioned. You handed his phone back and looked at him, flustered. “Sorry, I meant to give it back.” You got ready to drop your bag on the ground. “Here,” you started to pull it up, but he stopped you. “Keep it. You look really cute.” He smiled and put his phone away.
Your cheeks heated up from his compliment. “Thank you,” you looked at him, avoiding eye contact. I’m gonna be late for class, but I’ll see you around. I’ll text you, okay?” He smiled as he started to walk away backward so he could face you. “Okay,” you smiled back at him, fixing your hair from the wind as you watched him walk towards his class.
You made it to your class and sat down, pulling your laptop out of your bag and setting it up. You stared at the screen as you waited for your professor to show up. You looked at your phone.
[Unknown] Hey, cutie ;)
You laughed to yourself, knowing the message was from Mingi.
Y/N: Hey ;)
You smiled at your cheeky response and put your phone off the side as your professor started. You tried to ignore the buzz from your phone as your professor droned on and on. You looked away from your lesson and opened your phone.
Mingi: You should come over whenever you’d like. By the way, I know you said you come over for the parties, but if you ever just want to come by and just hang out as the two of us, you’re welcome
You smiled at his message as you saw that class had ended.
Y/N: Anytime, huh?
You tried to tease him a bit, but you were more than happy to walk over to his place whenever. You texted on and off through the days until you made your way over to his on your own. You knocked on the door lightly. You could hear the steps from the stairs and Mingi's rich, deep voice as he called out to his roommates before the door opened.
“Hey,” He smiled at you. You smiled back, studying his features. Seeing his wet, messy hair and just wearing some sweatpants. “Come with me,” He moved as he let you in. You followed him upstairs to his room and smiled. “How’s class been for you?” He reached into his nightstand and pulled out a small case before pulling out a joint to light.
“Good,” You nodded as he handed you the joint you were eyeing. It wasn’t that you wanted it, but you couldn’t take your eyes off of him. “No weird questions today?” You looked at him, expecting some question you’d have to think about that he could come up with to ask you.
He shook his head and smiled. “Not yet,” He teased as you smiled. “You’re adorable,” You looked at him, hoping your compliment was taken lightly. “Adorable?” He raised an eyebrow as you nodded. “I’ve gotten a bunch of stuff, but never adorable,” He laughed softly. “Well, you’re adorable. Especially when you smile,” You said matter-of-factly. He nodded at you. “Well, thank you for being the first,” He laughed.
You smiled at him and hit the joint. He smiled as he watched the smoke leave your lips. “Let me look at questions,” you smiled, then looked them up. He stretched his arms out as he watched you. “How would your friends describe you?” You asked and looked at him. “High,” he laughed and shrugged. That’s it?” You looked surprised at his answer as he nodded.
“Alright,” You huffed, then thought. “How would you describe yourself?” You crossed your legs as you sat on his bed facing him. “Probably the same.” He shrugged. “Oh, come on, you gotta have more than that,” You whined. “Not really,” he laughed at you. You pouted at his short response. “How would you describe me then?” He questioned you. You blushed softly and looked out the window.
“Tall, deep voice, adorable.” You paused as you thought of more. “I don’t know. I also think you’re kind, but I also have to get to know you more,” You looked over at him as he smiled softly. “Nailed it,” He stood up. You watched him carefully, worrying maybe that you somehow offended him. “If I’m wrong, you have to tell me,” You looked at him as he sat in his window bay. “You’re right,” He nodded, and you sighed at his response.
“I also feel like you ask questions that you actually want to answer, but no one asks you. You’ve gotten used to that, so you closed yourself off in a way, giving short answers if you are being asked a question.” You spoke gently, almost in a whisper, as he looked over at you. He didn’t say anything, but you felt as if you were right with your self-analysis of him.
“Alright, Fine.” He looked over at you lying on your stomach. The sunset hits your face at just the right angle. “I’m someone who likes the sunsets and warmer weather; I like being around people that I’m comfortable with or I can talk to. I love sleeping and daydreaming. I’m someone who loves to take care of others but loves to be taken care of, too.” He shrugged.
He wasn’t making it that big of a deal, but it was the first time in a few years that he opened up. The last people he talked freely with were San, Jongho, and his childhood friend Yunho. He didn't think it would matter to you what he said as he looked out the window again. “Thank you,” you smiled softly. Each word was being saved in your brain as he spoke. He wasn’t just eye candy anymore.
He was someone you actually wanted to get to know about. You wouldn’t say it out loud, but thank God for your friends daring you to make out with him. “Thank you?” He questioned as you nodded. “Yup, you opened up. Even if it’s a tiny bit, it means a lot to me. So, thank you,” You grinned at him as he smiled back. “Only for you,” His flirty tone made your stomach flutter.
You got up and walked over to him. He smiled down at you before taking you into his embrace. “I know you can come over whenever now, but I still better see you at parties,” He held you close. “Aye, aye, captain,” You laughed against his chest. He pulled away and smiled down at you. “Thank god for that dumbass dare,” He laughed.
You flushed, as his thoughts were the same as yours. You didn’t want to pour your heart out to him, but you were becoming so thankful for him coming into your life. You kept telling yourself it was too soon for you to think that way. You had just met and started hanging out with one another, but something about him just made you feel at ease.
It wasn’t something either of you could put into words as Mingi realized he felt the same way. You listened to him the few times he’s had the chance to talk after you’ve pushed him too. With each time you hung out, he started to speak his mind more freely and answered from the bottom of his heart. He even slowly stopped getting as high.
It was something he did as a comfort to not have to speak what he was feeling, but he didn’t need that when he was with you. He just wanted you to be by his side. Even if it was through a phone, he knew you’d always answer and speak freely to him. Spilling your secrets to each other and being with one another so much, it was almost like you lived at the frat house.
San and Jongho would love to tease you, but they don’t mind having you around for one bit. They used it to their advantage to get to know more about Eumji and Minjoo. It made you realize you judged them too quickly when they asked you about their favorite things and what they liked to eat. Of course, they would still turn it into a conversation about whether you and Mingi were together.
You both kept brushing it off, since you didn’t see why labels kept coming up. After just a few months, you were best friends, and labels weren’t needed. Yes, you slept over and got food with him, went bowling, and even tried studying together, even though it didn’t work out. You both got too distracted talking about the random things that came into your mind. You both saw each other as friends and were simply grateful to have each other in your lives. Nothing more.
“Yah, Choi San!” You whined as he opened Mingi’s bedroom door, where you were lying in just one of Mingi’s shirts. San chuckled at your reaction as Mingi yelled out. “Get out, perv!” He huffed, and you couldn’t help but laugh. “Jeez, guys, I was just letting you know that actual people are coming over in a bit. We got a lot going on tonight,” San shut the door behind him as he walked out.
“That’s not my problem,” Mingi shrugged and looked over at you. God, you were so perfect to him. Just the way you were lying on your side facing him and talking about everything. “No party for you tonight?” You questioned as he shook his head. “I’m not really up for it.” He ruffled his hair before looking back at you. “Are you?” He questioned as you shook your head. “I’m too comfy to move,” You sighed happily as you laid on your back.
“Can I be honest with you, Y/N?” Mingi looked at you as you nodded quickly. “Always.” He cleared his throat a bit as you cuddled up to him, placing your head on him so you could still see him as he spoke. “I’ve been afraid of saying something to someone,” He sounded shy as he spoke, his arm wrapped around you like second nature. “Saying what?” You couldn’t help but question. “Listen, I know we’ve been telling everyone we’re friends and nothing more, but I have to be honest with you. I promised you I would be,” He traced circles in your back as he spoke.
“I really think I have feelings for you, for something much farther than just a friendship or a friends-with-benefits situation. I really do like you, Y/N. I’ve just been so afraid to say it because I don’t want to make you run away if you don’t feel the same,” He rubbed his face with the hand that wasn’t around you. “Mingi,” You shifted to get a better look at him. “I think I feel the same. I didn’t want to say anything either because I couldn’t tell if I was making our situation something much more than what it was,” You laughed quietly.
“I mean, it just makes sense for the two of us, y’know?” He smiled down at you. “We’ve seen every part of each other, we know each other's secrets and desires, and we could easily finish each other’s sentences if we had to. Plus, you look really cute in my clothes,” He chuckled as you blushed at him. “So kiss me then, the first time as a couple,” You couldn’t help but sound giddy as you moved, and he followed. Placing a gentle peck on your lips. “You’re so perfect, and now you’re mine,” He cooed as he placed his forehead on yours.

network love —- w.jh

♡ pairing: wen junhui x gn!reader ♡ genre: established relationship with idol!junhui ♡ wc: ~0.5k ♡ warnings: fluff, they’re just IN LOVE and LONG DISTANCE your honor ♡ a/n: random drabble written for my lovely @crab-ranjun
Wen Junhui wears many, many hats. Wen Junhui the Chinese drama actor, Jun the member of global K-Pop boy band phenomenon Seventeen, and his favorite hat; Junnie, your loving boyfriend.
The latter is unfortunately hanging on the coat rack near the door of your small apartment back in Seoul. For the last several months he has been wearing the actor hat, and while he loves that hat, he’s tired and while he is in his home country, he misses his home.
The day ahead of him will be a long day of wearing his idol Jun hat, but without his brothers it seems wrong. Fancalls can be fun, because meeting Carats is always rewarding, but the sheer amount of time he has to devote to this today is almost astronomical.
Jun sat in front of the phone waiting for the first call to begin. His staff buzzed around him, finishing last minute prep that there will be no time for during the long line of calls. Jun watched them, feeling sorry that he can’t help out with whatever needs done. A woman comes to him and touches up his makeup and informs him he has about five more minutes.
He slips his personal phone out of his pocket.
Junnie: long day ahead, Xīngān, talk l8r 😽
Jun smiles to himself feeling his phone buzz right as he returns it to his pocket. He can’t wait to hear about your day later, once he’s back in his apartment he keeps in China for these long stints of acting gigs.
Carats are always fun to talk to most days, today is no different. Jun got to see plenty of cats and had his fair share of odd questions to side step, admittedly not nearly as many as Vernon typically gets, but enough to tire him out.
He stretches his arms over his head, feeling almost giddy as the next call is the last one before he gets to go back to his own space and text you until he falls asleep, probably on the couch. His eyes close slightly, enjoying the stiffness of his muscles evening out, as the call connects.
A voice, a strangely familiar voice, greets him in Mandarin on the other end of the line. His eyes snap open to see your smiling face on the phone screen in front of him.
He opens his mouth to speak but the words don’t form so you signal for him to stay quiet. Any adverse reaction from him would alert staff and put a wrench in your plan and the secret you two have been keeping from the rest of the world for years.
“I just wanted to tell you, I’m so proud of you and the hard work you have been committed to for so long” your voice crackles through the ear buds, “You’re so talented and dedicated to what inspires you and I can’t wait to see what you do next, whatever it may be, I just hope it’s back in Seoul” you laugh, “Talk to you soon my Junnie”
“Thank you so much for your words, it means so much coming from you,” his eyes well with tears but he wears a smile the whole way home.

the tension in the group of misfits and magic is wild. connections between everyone.
k and jammer are on opposite sides of the spectrum but you can feel the support and the security they have in each other. jammer is a leader, he brings them together, k is a networker, they keep them together. they are a well-oiled machine and a god damn pair and the most queer platonic thing in the world imo
sam and jammer are the best of friends, a bond unbroken since the day they locked eyes with each other. the unbridled trust and admiration that permeates the air when they look at each other is unmatched. to look the panic of flashing red lights in the face and decide to go get a fucking salad with each other instead.
evan and jammer are a bromance that is completely platonic if you do not think too hard about it, if you do not notice the way evan softens when jammer looks him in the eye, the tension that only jammer seems to be able to release from evan's shoulders, the way that jammer seems to always go the extra mile and then one more for evan. devotion in it's purest form.
k and evan are a bond forged in blood. they are in love and there is nothing either of them can do about it, to make up for the complication, the resentment and the bitter feelings, they bicker and mock each other, but there was no hesitation behind slaughtering the woman who dared lay a hand on k. there is never any hesitation when k leaps to heal evan's injuries. they are unhealthy and deeply flawed and both far too prideful to admit so
evan and sam are the knight and her steed. i will ride you into war. i will protect you with my body, and when you fall, i'll fall with you. i will be your sword, your protector, and if i cannot be that, i will be your shield. a love so strong and blossoming that it activates the most basic instincts in the mind. protect, nurture, shield, defend. evan would follow sam into hell. sam HAS followed evan into hell.
sam and k. sappho and her friend. i'm not sorry to say it. they were girls together, they grew together, watched each other blossom into adults and mold the world into something they could take. of course they love each other, in a way that is deep and yearning. each reassuring look thrown k's way, each happy squeal shared between pink pals, is code for "i need you, i love you."
love it LOVE IT LOVE LOVE

compromises
armies are always fighting the last war. survivors come home with scars and lessons learned and ranks achieved by virtue only of being still standing at the end, and busily begin the process of figuring out what they should have done to keep more of their friends alive. but everything's obvious in retrospect, and the enemy learns too.
R&D is always fighting the next war. or trying to make war obsolete. or working on something completely unrelated that just also turns out to be able to fly or float or explode or reduce humans to paste or circuits to scrap… if it actually works on the battlefield.
fighting the last war makes you predictable. trying to fight the next war needs you to be lucky. it was the bureaucrats who forced the compromise that is modern pilot hardware, yoking the fractious generals and scientists together in the present.
the original, basic function of the implants is keep our pilots alive and conscious through high G and EMP and blood loss and battlefield fatigue, and to keep them informed and connected to the network. the implants work very well. the technology matured a long time ago.
but they can only help so much if the pilot's training is wrong: if she has learned to duck under an incoming K-29b, and then the K-29c comes along with better lookdown sensors, well, that's all over but for the flag they mail home.
so the other function of the implants, sacrosanct, in place of all the other features that the lab monkeys claim they could be fitting in that limited space instead, is memory patching. faster than training an old reflex out of someone and a new reflex in. click. download. done. keeps you fighting the current war, and winning.
don't worry too much about how. the side effects from a few too many doses of neural plasticizer is a small price to pay compared to death, disability, or forced retirement. besides, they don't mess with the higher functions much: principles, ethics, loyalty, if you had any to start with, you'll probably still have them. those are much less amenable to memory patching than the low-level functions. muscle memory. threat recognition. fight/flight balance.
it's true that there are some side effects that can be more initially distressing than others. they're fast low-level reflex functions too, and the patch source could be anyone in the fleet, after all. broad compatibility is important. so yes, sexual preferences and orientation can get a little… blurry. but you'll get used to it, pilots. the system works. □

You always hated going to the bar, but you never stayed home when your friends asked you to go with them, either. After all, despite your lack of interest in the city’s nightlife, the bar seemed like the perfect place to meet someone and finally get over your ex. It had been months since she’d walked away and left you heartbroken, and all you wanted was to connect with someone new and heal.
Honestly, though, when you really thought about how many times you’d already tried and failed, you wondered why you even bothered anymore. With slightly more thought, however, you concluded that it was a sick combination of desperation, loneliness, boredom, and a miniscule amount of foolish hope that made you want to keep trying.
When you finally arrived at the bar, you were certain that nothing interesting would happen. Still, that little bit of hope in the back of your mind kept you going as you made your way to the bar and ordered a cocktail. While you enjoyed your first drink of the night, one of the most gorgeous women you’d ever seen walked into the bar and sat on the stool right next to you. She looked at you and smiled, and you let the hope that carried you through the door continue to carry you into a conversation with her as you smiled back and introduced yourself.
“My name is Yizhuo,” she replied, her voice filling your stomach with butterflies as she spoke.
“What brought you here tonight?” you asked, hoping to hear her speak again so that the butterflies would come back.
“I just wanted something to do. What about you?”
“My friends dragged me out,” you answered, laughing softly.
Yizhuo laughed at your answer and asked, “Well, why did you let them?”
“The short answer is boredom.”
“I understand that, honestly. There’s never anything interesting going on around here.”
“Tell me about it.”
As the two of you continued to talk, you found yourself thinking about just how beautiful Yizhuo was in every sense of the word and how badly you wanted a connection with her that lasted beyond just one night. You wondered if she felt the same way about you, but you knew that it was far too soon to ask. So instead, you asked, “What do you like to do for fun?”
“I love to sing,” she answered. “I don’t think I would ever want to do it professionally, but when there’s music on, and I’m singing along, I feel lighter than a feather.”
“That’s really beautiful.”
“What are some of your hobbies?”
There was a brief silence before you answered, “I really like to read. Sometimes I write too, but never anything that I would want to publish.”
“I’d love to read some of the stuff you’ve written sometime.”
“Well, I’d love to hear you sing sometime.”
Just then, you heard an unfamiliar voice say, “Hello, everyone, and welcome to our weekly karaoke night! If you would like to participate, come see me in the booth next to the stage to pick a song and a time slot.”
“That’s perfect!” Yizhuo said with a smile before walking away. You wanted to ask her where she was going, but before you could, she was across the bar, talking to the guy that made the announcement earlier. He nodded at what she said, and she followed him to the empty stage.
“Ok, everyone, please give a warm welcome to our first participant for this week’s karaoke night, Yizhuo!”
You didn’t quite hear the title of the song that she sang, but once she started, you didn’t really care. The combination of the seductive nature of the lyrics and her sultry voice had you in a trance for the entirety of the song. You were sure that you looked like an idiot as you watched her onstage, but you didn’t particularly care. All you cared about was how beautiful she was and how she really seemed to be in her element as she sang.
When her performance was over, you clapped, and when she got back to her seat, you said, “That was incredible! You have a beautiful voice.”
“Thanks,” she replied, a faint blush spreading across her cheeks.
The rest of the night continued with nothing major happening, except for butterflies in your stomach every time Yizhuo spoke or smiled at you. For a brief moment, you wondered if it was a good idea to ask her to come home with you. After all, she was gorgeous, and you really wanted to show her just how beautiful you thought she was. In the end, however, you decided against it, too nervous to try anything beyond asking, “Can I have your number? I’d love to talk more.”
“Yeah, of course,” she replied, holding her hand out to take your phone. You handed it to her, and she handed you hers. You each put your contact information in the other’s phone, and with a smile, Yizhuo added, “I really liked talking to you tonight. I hope we get to see each other again.”
Before you could respond, she walked away, and your friends were surrounding you and telling you that they were ready to leave. You reluctantly left the bar, disappointed that meeting someone new hadn’t gone the way you’d hoped but excited that you’d met someone new in the first place.
When you got home, you considered texting Yizhuo, but you didn’t want to come on too strongly and make her uncomfortable. So, you decided to just turn your phone off for the night and go to sleep. Before you could, though, you opened your phone and saw a new message.
Yizhuo: Hi! Just wanted to say I had a lot of fun tonight. I’d love to see you again sometime. Y/N: That sounds great! Just let me know when you know what days you’re free. Yizhuo: Will do. Good night! Y/N: Good night.
The next morning, you woke up and got ready for work, just like any other day. When you got to the office, however, you were pleasantly surprised by a familiar face.
“Oh my god, (Y/N)! Hi!” Yizhuo cheered, pulling you into a hug.
“Hi! What are you doing here?” you asked.
“Today is my first day in the legal department! I’m so happy to see someone here that I actually know,” she commented, laughing softly as she spoke.
“Well, good luck! If you need anything or have any questions, just let me know.”
“I will!” she replied, letting go of you so that she could get to work.
Nothing significant happened for the rest of the day, except for Yizhuo asking if you wanted to get dinner with her after work. You happily agreed, and the two of you decided to go to a local restaurant that was close to the bar you’d met at the night before.
At the end of your shift, you met Yizhuo at the restaurant. Once you sat down at a table and ordered drinks, she asked, “So, when did you start working at the Kwangya Corporation?”
“I’ve been working there for just under a year. How did your first day go?”
“Better than expected. I thought that I was gonna struggle a lot, but Aeri was a huge help. She’s in charge of training me.”
“Aeri is one of the best employees the company has. If anyone can help you feel more at ease and teach you how to do things the right way, it’ll be her.”
The two of you continued to chat for what felt like hours as you enjoyed your meal and relaxed after a chaotic day. You talked about everything from what you did at work to foods that you liked, and with every word, you found yourself continuing to fall for her. The way she treated you fell firmly into the “platonic affection” category, though, much to your disappointment.
At the end of the meal, Yizhuo smiled and said, “Thank you for hanging out with me; I needed to get out and have fun with a friend.”
“It’s no problem. I’m happy to hang out whenever, as long as I’m not busy.”
After you paid for your food, she pulled you into a hug and left the restaurant. As you got into your car and drove home, you wondered if she would ever see you as anything more than a friend.
A few weeks later, you were walking into work when you saw Yizhuo speedwalking toward you. She looked much happier than usual, and when she finally reached you, she said, “Oh my god, you’ll never believe what happened last night!”
“What happened?” you asked.
“I met someone.”
You were surprised, to say the least, but you still tried to seem happy for her as you asked, “Really? What’s their name?”
“His name is Shotaro. We met at the bar last night. Actually, it was the same bar that I met you! Isn’t that cool?”
“Yeah, totally,” you answered, hoping that the hurt you were feeling wasn’t too obvious.
Before Yizhuo could say anything else, you walked into the building and made your way to your desk, which was in a different department. You knew it was petty, but you really didn’t want to listen to her talk about the amazing guy that she met, at the same bar that she met you, no less. All you wanted to do was focus on your work.
The day went by quickly, probably because you were determined to focus solely on your work until you got home. As you walked to your car, however, you couldn’t help but start thinking about how lonely you really were. Sure, you had friends, and you were somewhat close to your family, but you really missed having someone to fall asleep with at night and kiss good morning. You knew that you would find someone eventually, but you couldn’t help but wonder just when that would be.
The next month of listening to Yizhuo talk about how amazing Shotaro was and how much she loved spending time with him was difficult, to say the least. You were happy for her, of course, and you knew that holding onto your hurt wouldn’t help you get over her, but you couldn’t help but think about her constantly. You knew it was stupid, but you slowly found yourself falling harder and harder for your friend.
The way you felt only got harder to ignore whenever Yizhuo spent the night at your apartment. She stayed with you one night a week, sometimes two if she had a particularly bad fight with Shotaro, and over time, those nights became your favorite part of the week. Every time the two of you watched a movie together on your couch, her arm wrapped around you as you leaned into her side, you found yourself actually relaxing, and part of you couldn’t help but imagine that one day, she might see you the same way you saw her.
At some point, Yizhuo and Shotaro broke up, and you were the first person that she went to for comfort. She showed up on your doorstep late at night, tears in her eyes and a stuffed bear that you’d given her for her birthday in her hands. When you saw her, you knew pretty much immediately what was wrong, and the second your door was closed, you pulled her into a hug and said, “I’m so sorry. Do you wanna talk about it?”
Yizhuo shook her head and said, “I don’t think it would help.” After a moment of silence, she added, “Can I stay here tonight?”
“Of course.”
Once she was fully inside, you led her to the couch and picked a funny movie to watch together. While the movie played, she relaxed in your arms, and you found yourself thinking about how badly you wanted her once again. You knew better than to tell her, though, especially because she was there for comfort after the end of a relationship.
Eventually, Yizhuo moved on from Shotaro and started dating someone new. The relationship didn’t exactly last long, though, and based on the fact that she never even told you their name, you figured that it probably wasn’t serious. Regardless, she was heartbroken when they broke up with her, and you found yourself in a similar situation with her once again.
With every new relationship that Yizhuo got into, the cycle repeated, and after a few months of continuing to fall for Yizhuo while she dated and hooked up with other people, you started to consider distancing yourself from her. Not because you didn’t want to be around her, of course, but because you thought that space was the only thing that would help you get over her. So, over time, you started hanging out with her less and less.
When Yizhuo realized that you were distancing yourself from her, she couldn’t understand why. She stayed up late every night wondering what she did wrong, and she couldn’t think of anything that would have upset you. Every time the two of you talked or hung out, you were like a ray of sunshine, never even hinting that you were upset with her. Despite your upbeat demeanor around her, however, she couldn’t think of any other reason that you would distance yourself.
You even started avoiding Yizhuo at work, much to her disappointment and confusion. There were times that she considered just asking you what she did wrong, but she worried that it would cause an argument and make you want to distance yourself further or even stop talking to her entirely, so she really didn’t want to do that. Instead, she just hoped that one day the two of you could be as close as you were when you first met.
After a while, you found yourself thinking about Yizhuo less and less, and you wondered if it meant that you were finally starting to get over her. Before you could think about that too much, though you decided to try putting yourself out there once again, hoping that you could speed up the process of getting over Yizhuo by getting under someone else.
On a night that you felt particularly lonely, you went to the same bar that you’d met Yizhuo, but instead of actually meeting someone, you went home completely alone. So, you decided to try again the next night. Your second attempt was also unsuccessful, so you went home, collapsed onto your bed, and sobbed, wondering what was wrong with you that no one wanted you.
At some point in the night, amidst the depression threatening to swallow you whole, you thought, “Fuck it,” and texted Yizhuo to see if she was busy. Sure, you knew that you had no chance with her, but you figured that it was about time for you to fix your shit and accept that she only saw you as a friend. Hell, maybe the two of you could even go out to the bar act as wingmen for each other.
One night, while Yizhuo was thinking about the sudden shift in your relationship, she finally realized that her feelings for you weren’t strictly platonic, like she’d always thought. It all started when she allowed herself to actually wonder why she even cared so much, and all it took was a surprise text from you to realize that she was indeed falling for you.
Y/N: Hey. Are you busy tomorrow? Yizhuo: No, unless you count work. Why? Y/N: Do you want to go out tomorrow? Yizhuo: Sure!
Yizhuo’s heart started to race at the idea of actually spending time with you again, and she recognized the giddy feeling from when she first met Shotaro. As she thought about the implications of that, she wondered why her feelings changed when they did and why she had to have the realization that they’d changed after you’d already distanced yourself from her. In the end, though, all she could do was hope that you didn’t change your mind about hanging out or start dating someone else while the two of you weren’t talking as much.
Before Yizhuo went to bed, she spent a long time wondering if she should just tell you how she felt. In the end, she didn’t exactly make a concrete decision one way or the other. Instead, she decided to wait and see how your plans tomorrow went. If you seemed interested in her the same way she was interested in you, and you didn’t mention dating anyone, she would tell you. If you mentioned dating someone else or seemed uninterested in her, she would keep her mouth shut.
The next morning came, and you and Yizhuo agreed to meet at a local park after work. The moment you arrived at the park and sat down on a bench next to her, the feelings that you’d tried so hard to get rid of came rushing right back. You wanted to run away the moment you realized, but a strange feeling in your gut told you to stay. Maybe it was hope that Yizhuo would reciprocate your feelings. Maybe it was desire to not lose your friend. Most likely, though, it was a combination of both.
“So, how have you been?” Yizhuo asked, hoping that the small talk would ease some of the awkwardness between you.
You thought for a minute about how you wanted to answer her question. Did you want to lie and tell her that everything was fine, or did you want to admit that you missed her and felt like an idiot for pushing her away? In the end, you chose the latter and said, “Truthfully, I’ve been a goddamn mess. I’ve missed you a lot.”
“Then why didn’t you talk to me?”
With a sigh, you answered, “I was hurting, and I thought that I was doing the right thing by stepping back until I had time to heal.”
“All this time I thought I did something wrong,” she said, seemingly deflating as she spoke.
“I never meant to make you think that. I am so sorry.”
There was a moment of silence before she asked, “So, we’re ok?”
“Yes. We’re ok. I’m so sorry for ever making you think that we weren’t.”
There was silence for a while after that, but neither of you seemed to mind. It was like the need to fill the space with words was gone, with only the joy of finally being in each other’s company again remaining. After a while, however, Yizhuo felt like she was going to explode if she didn’t find out how you really felt about her. So, with a deep breath, she asked, “Can I ask you something?”
“Yeah, of course. What is it?”
“What was going on that you felt like you needed to distance yourself from me?”
You sighed at the question, unsure if you wanted to admit to your feelings. After all, what if she didn’t feel the same way, and you lost her again? But then again, what if she did feel the same way? In the end, you decided to just bite the bullet and quietly say, “I realized that I like you in a not-strictly-platonic way. I thought that distancing myself would make the feelings go away, but I was wrong.”
Yizhuo was silent for a minute as she processed your words, and you started to worry that you’d fucked up your friendship permanently. Before you could worry for too long, though, Yizhuo turned to you and said, “I also like you in a not-strictly-platonic way, you know.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. I realized it at some point while we weren’t talking as much. I don’t know why it took me so long to figure it out, but I’m happy I did.”
There was another awkward silence before you started to ask, “Does this mean that-”
Before you could even finish your question, Yizhuo wrapped her arms around your neck and kissed you. You melted into her hold, and you couldn’t help but feel like an idiot for not just telling her how you felt sooner. In the end, though, the fact that you waited so long to tell her didn’t really matter, because you two still found your way back to each other in the end.
When Yizhuo pulled away from the kiss, the first thing she said was, “In case that didn’t make it obvious, the answer is yes.”
With a smile, you asked, “In that case, are you busy on Valentine’s Day?”
“I don’t have anything planned right now, but I can definitely change that. Why do you ask?”
“Why don’t we go out that night? It’d be nice to go on a proper date with you.”
“Is this not a proper date?” she asked with a laugh.
“Let me rephrase. It’d be nice to go out with the intention of it being a date. Despite the way things worked out, I really didn’t intend for today to be a date.”
Yizhuo smiled as she responded, “That does sound nice.”
The two of you continued to enjoy your time at the park until it got dark outside. At that point, you each went your separate ways, but not without Yizhuo kissing you one more time. It was early in your relationship still, but as you drove back to your apartment, you had a pretty strong feeling that the two of you would be ok.
Valentine’s Day finally arrived, and you spent most of the day worrying about whether the restaurant you’d picked was good enough or if Yizhuo would like the gift that you’d bought her. When you actually met your now girlfriend at the restaurant, however, you realized that you didn’t have anything to worry about. She greeted you with a grin on her face and a bouquet of flowers in her hands, the exact same pink roses you’d bought for her.
When you both realized that you’d bought each other the same flowers, you shared a laugh, and you put the flowers in your car before the two of you walked into the restaurant together. As the two of you were seated at a table, you found yourself wondering how you got as lucky as you did meeting someone like Yizhuo. Her smile made even your darkest days brighter, and she never let a day go by without telling you just how much she cared about you. Valentine’s Day, of course, was no exception. As soon as the two of you finished ordering your appetizers, she said, “I love you.”
You were caught off guard, since she hadn’t explicitly said that she loved you before, but you still smiled and said, “I love you too.”
The rest of your time at the restaurant went by in silence for the most part, with both of you enjoying each other’s presence too much to worry about talking beyond the occasional comment about your food. If you’d been out with anyone else, you would have been upset about the lack of conversation, but since you were with the woman you loved, you didn’t really mind.
After you left the restaurant, you went home to put your flowers in a vase. Then, you drove to Yizhuo’s apartment, just like you’d planned to do earlier. When you finally got there, you knocked on the door, and she answered, though she looked disheveled. You wanted to ask if she was ok, but before you got the chance, she said, “Hi, honey. You got here faster than I thought you would.”
“Are you ok, baby?”
“Yeah, I’m ok. Just setting something up.”
“What is it?”
“You’ll see. Can you wait here for just a minute?”
“Yeah, of course.”
Yizhuo shut the door, and you waited outside for her to be ready. While you waited, you heard her walking around her apartment singing the same song she’d sung at the bar the night you met, followed by a crash and a string of curses. After a bit more noise, she opened the door and said, “Come in.”
You entered her apartment and saw that she’d decorated her entire apartment with lights and balloons, and “Howl’s Moving Castle” was ready to play on her TV. With a smile on her face, she led you to the couch. Once you found a comfortable position, she sat down next to you, leaned her head on your shoulder, and started the movie.
About halfway through the movie, you noticed that Yizhuo was asleep. You really didn’t want to wake her, but you knew that her bed would be far more comfortable than the couch. So, you gently shook her and said, “Baby, wake up.”
“What’s going on?”
“You fell asleep during the movie.”
“I’m sorry honey,” she said with a pout.
“It’s ok, baby, I just figured you might be more comfortable in your bed than on the couch.”
With an exaggerated pout on her face, she asked, “Will you stay here tonight?”
“Yeah, of course. Do you have an extra toothbrush?”
Yizhuo nodded and stood up before helping you off the couch. After that, the two of you got ready for bed together. After you both brushed your teeth, Yizhuo gave you an extra set of pajamas to change into. Then, you both changed your clothes and went to bed. Your lover held you close the entire night, and you couldn’t help but think that you wanted to fall asleep next to her every night of your life.

“y/n, this is not working how I wanted.”
How he wanted…
Your husband’s sudden serious tone made you look towards the entrance of your bedroom, knowing all the unspoken words behind that particular sentence. Not working--- nothing works between you two after the marriage. Why didn’t one of you think about this before everything started? It started out as a normal hangout with both of you meeting each other at Yunho’s house and that’s how some common topic sparked a connection between you and Mingi.
Yunho has been your best friend since elementary school and when he found out about your little affection towards his friend, he obviously supported your feelings, of course hiding his own behind the smile.
Still, he warned you about Mingi’s irrational behaviors and his characters that he and other friends find a bit problematic to deal with. But you ignored these comments. Love is blind. You never noticed that Mingi’s attraction towards you was not out of love but a pure obsession. He observed his friend’s subtle glances towards you and your oblivion self not noticing the obvious state of your best friend. And that’s how he took the best opportunity to approach you, to get so near to you that it made Yunho distant even farther from where he was.
Mingi is always a step ahead from his friend and so he successfully blocked Yunho’s perspectives from your eyes. He treated you like a princess in his university days. You three were always seen together but after getting into the relationship with the youngest one, Yunho made himself busy with joining a painting class. You are well aware of his passion for paintings and pouring his emotions into it.
Three years of university love led to the day of marriage.
You still remember the look Yunho gave you when he handed you an invitation card on the day of your wedding. Your confused eyes staring at him earned a chuckle and he patted your head, “come to my wedding……with Mingi.”
“your wedding? All of a sudden?”
He gulped and nodded before turning around and disappearing into the crowd of people spread across the grand hall. Mingi came up beside you, snaking a hand around your waist, following your way of vision, finding no one particular in sight and glancing towards the envelope in your hold.
“What's this, love?”
He noticed your absence of response and pulled you closer to repeat the question when you glanced at him and to your hand, “Yunho’s wedding invitation card.”
He smiled, “oh…he is marrying? So sudden?”
“yeah, I asked him about this but he didn’t say anything.”
He kissed the side of your head, “let’s not think about this. This is our day.”
Yeah, that was the only last day when it felt like yours.
You loved Mingi with all your heart but for him it was all just a game of obsession. To win everything over his friend. Not into marriage for more than a year, he started to show his hidden true self which was all hidden behind his façade of love.
The glints of his unusual behavior were all displayed in front of you since the first day but you never cared to notice them because you loved him. you wanted him as a part of your life. You wanted his love.
You noticed him staying outside the house longer than usual. Him ignoring your texts and calls and blaming you for the roughness in your relationship.
The same remark—the relationship between you both is not working how he wanted. How did he want it? And what about your side? Does he care to listen to you? Simply, No.
He never cared for you. You were a bait for his pride. Getting the most popular girl of the campus and the beautiful girlfriend making him a lucky bastard in his friend’s group was all he wanted. The hurt and lost expression on Yunho’s face was enough to boost his ego. Smirking to himself, he pats his friend’s back, “get a girl, dude. You look so lonely these days. What happened?”
Yunho would glance at his friend and just smile.
‘You took away the most precious part of my life.’
.
.
.
It’s been six months that you have parted your ways with Mingi. One might wonder how you got out of his obsession. Lily, the only daughter of the rich business partner, offered a huge deal of money and who is he to ignore the offer. His statement that you both are not working together leads to the divorce between you two. You didn’t question him and never tried to reason to try it in a different way.
You didn’t even cry because all those sleepless nights and hopeless days have not left a single piece of feelings to stay back in yourself. You left his house without turning towards him for the last time. And he didn’t even call you back when you closed the door behind your back.
It was a Saturday afternoon when you were chatting with your school friend when you suddenly got a text from a person whom you didn’t want to keep in touch with but somehow it turned out that it was not the same from his end.
‘Can you meet me today?’
Why? You wanted to ask him. your fingers trembled and tears slid down your cheeks, remembering how he texted you for the first time after he got your number.
‘Hey! It’s nice to meet you.’
You should not have proceeded your friendship from that part. You should have just remained as a passing stranger or a casual friend.
You stared at the message of him texting you to meet him today. All of a sudden? Why? You don’t know, not even having a hint of the meaning of his text. Before you could dwell on the thought more, your phone started vibrating, indicating you had a call. The same person. Your mind didn’t process what to do further and you swiped the call button to green.
“hello, y/n.”
Why does his voice still have the same effect on you like it had during the university days? Why is he making you regret leaving him? Why do you still care for him? why?
Why can’t you forget him?
“Mingi…”
“Are you free today?” His voice was low and he was patiently speaking to you as if there was no hurry like the other days when he didn’t have a bit of a time to look at you for a second.
“yes.”
“can you please meet me today at your favorite restaurant?”
“but we are no longer like before. Don’t forget you gave up on me.” you pressed your lips tight and prevented yourself from crying into the call. You couldn’t let him know about your weakness. You don’t want to feel stupid, the way you were stupid in love with him. even though you wanted to say so many things to him yet you decided to stay silent, hearing him calling your name when your tears were flowing down your cheeks.
“please…we should talk about everything. You didn’t utter a word when you left me.”
I left him? And he did nothing? It was not his fault? He is not guilty for anything. So he is blaming you for all these?
“There's nothing to talk about. we are done.”
“please. I want to say sorry.” He quickly murmured his apology when you denied to meet him.
After a few more requests, you agreed to meet him in the evening. When you agreed to meet him, he quickly cut the call. As expected from him. Why did you agree to meet him? Are you out of your mind? What will you do? What will you say after meeting him? you don’t know but still you want to clear your mind off and there’s so much to confront him.
Back of your head hit the mattress and your blank eyes staring at the ceiling, when the thought of your best friend came across your mind. After both of your marriages, you never contacted him because he changed his contact details, isn't active on social media and also moved to a different country with his wife. Mingi doesn’t like you to have contact with any other boy and so you didn’t want to try to contact him.
The last shared moment between you both was—
“Congratulations, Yunho. I wish you a great and happy life ahead.”
He smiled and rested his palm over your cheek, thumb caressed the skin and his eyes following how your eyes were sparkling and you were smiling brightly at him. you were glowing in front of him.
“I hope you are happy, y/n.”
no other shiny thing could compare your radiance and he knew one thing.
Mingi is really a lucky bastard. He always gets everything whatever he wanted before him.
How is Yunho doing out there? He must be very happy with his wife. It’s been two years since you have last seen him, talked to him.
.
.
.
A simple straight peach coloured knee length dress with a little no-makeup look with your hairs resting on your shoulder, you reached the restaurant.
As soon as you entered the glass doors, you looked around to find the familiar face which you swore once to never come across again but here you are searching for him again. You stopped in your tracks when you found him sitting at the table near the wide window. You took a step back when you found him smiling with someone on the call and you thought to turn around and return back home.
But your trance broke when someone held your forearm and whispered your name, “y/n…”
You quickly glanced to your side, eyes going wide when you noticed who the person was.
“Yunho… is this real?”
He nodded and left your hand when he noticed the table at the far end where you were looking at previously. But to his surprise, you hugged him and pressed your face against his chest, “ I missed you, Yunho. Where were you all these years?”
Hesitatingly, he raised his hand to pat your head. The warmth of your body against him, the tears staining his shirt and your fist clutching him. the main reason for your tears was meeting him after years or you were overwhelmed with Mingi’s apology?
Actually you wanted an embrace in which you could cry. And you chose to let your heart out to Yunho in spite of Mingi. He caressed your hair, few people glanced in your direction but neither you nor Yunho cared about it. He was desperate to know everything from you, he could feel that you were crying not only because of him but there’s something more you were hiding. He knows you too well, more than yourself.
When his eyes again went to that table, he saw the raging eyes glaring back at him. Mingi was not happy with the moment you both were sharing. As if you would love the moment with him. He stood straight from his chair, keeping his eyes fixed on you and started walking towards you.
Yunho averted his eyes from his friend and looked down at you, stroking your hair, he whispered, “y/n, Mingi is here. He doesn’t like us to meet like this.”
You shook your head in his embrace, refusing to part from him when he tried to pull you back. He was confused yet deep down he wanted to hold you close like this the whole day. Whatever he wants with you is always achieved by his friend and it makes him feel jealous to say less. He wants to steal you from him. even if it’s possible. What about you? Would you like to accept him the way he wants you?
“Yunho, long time no see. How come you are here in this country? Vacation?”
Mingi’s voice bloomed in the light chatter of the people surrounding you. As a reactive action, you pulled apart from Yunho and stayed beside him, looking down and collecting your composure.
Yunho forced a little smile and nodded, “yeah. I’m on a vacation, just to spend time in my home country for a while and then go back.” You could hear a hidden hurt in his voice, you both have spent so much time to notice this even after so many years.
“Where is your wife? I don’t think she would like to see you here being so close to another woman.” Mingi had a mockery in his tone. He never leaves a chance to make Yunho realize that you are not his and never would be.
Yunho cleared his throat and replied, “we are divorced.”
Divorced?
“divorced?” your soft voice made him look at you and he smiled before patting your head. His usual activity whenever something problematic is going on in your life or his and he would pat your head as a sign not to worry about it. He would be fine and could handle it on his own. “What happened, Yunho?”
Mingi chuckled irritatedly. You mentally scoffed at the audacity of him laughing at the situation.
“don’t worry about him, y/n. I suppose he will get another one.”
“Shut up, Mingi. Don’t think everyone is like you. I wonder how you both are friends when he is so unlike you.”
“y/n-“
“no, Yunho. Let me speak. I have had enough. Enough of him.” you raised your voice making the oldest quiet and confused while the youngest one had a wide smirk on his face. He was enjoying the scene you were creating in front of all the people in the restaurant. You could feel the stares and low whispers all around but you were on your spot and wouldn’t let this chance slip to make him realize, “stop your games here, Mingi. Nothing is serious to you in this life. You seem to believe everyone and everything to be working according to you. No, it’s not. You are wrong here.”
“and what makes my wife believe that this is wrong?” Mingi folded his hands and titled his head when he chuckled, clearly amused by your act.
You hissed and grabbed the collar of his black shirt and glared, “I am not your wife anymore. Don’t forget that you and I are not related anymore. And I regret the fact that I even have to associate myself to you as your ex-wife. I regret everything. I regret my six years because of being with you. You destroyed my life, Mingi.”
Ex-wife…you are divorced. This news was shocking to Yunho and the way he was looking at you didn’t go unnoticed by Mingi. He clenched his jaw when he felt that he still has that adoration and love in his eyes for you. Tears were flowing down your eyes and you cared less for your appearance because you wanted to care for your heart which was lost in an endless feeling of hurt.
“Because of you, I did everything that you have told me. I have loved you so much that I distanced myself from everyone because you never liked others to be around me. I was blind to notice that you wanted me as your puppet and all you wanted to show off to others. You have used me in every step of your life, in the end, you blamed me that our relationship is not working because of me. It's because it's not working how you wanted. And what about me? Have you ever thought about what I even wanted? Why did you make me dream of things which you will never be part of? Why Mingi why?”
You were shouting at this point and Mingi was losing his temper hearing your words. Each word slipping out your mouth was irritating him. He himself knew that you were not his love but his obsession. A game to win. To win over Yunho.
“what the fuck are you saying, y/n? be in your limits.”
“I won’t.”
“y/n-“
A loud sound echoed in the area. You slapped him. the thing which you would have done long ago. You don’t know from where you got the sudden courage today but you were proud of yourself to not hesitate to let it all out. You needed this and now a little relief settled inside you.
But the thing you didn’t expect is an arm wrapping around your shoulders and a pair of lips touching the side of your head with a whisper, “My good girl.” Looking towards the owner, you realized Yunho was smiling at you but before you could say anything he looked back at Mingi and glared.
“I suppose this hurts your ego and image so if you still want to insult yourself you can stay here. But I won’t let her be here anymore, especially with you. I don’t know what exactly happened between you two but I know for her happiness and to see her smile, I can do anything.” Yunho pointed a finger at his friend, “and I won’t ever let a single drop of tears fall from her eyes. And the things you did to her, I will make you regret it.”
“She is not yours.” Mingi rubbed his cheek and brushed his shirt. Mingi smirked when he saw the fuming rage of Yunho hearing his statement but Yunho chuckled, making you both confused.
“and you couldn’t keep her as yours.”
When the youngest extended his hand to grab your bicep, Yunho grabbed his wrist and clenched his jaw, “don’t even fucking touch her. Get lost from here.” He breathed heavily and continued, “I don’t fucking care where you want to go but we are leaving this place right now.”
“Yunho-“
“Keep quiet, y/n. we are leaving unless you want to repeat the mistake again.” He has never spoken to you in such a low and demanding way. He waited for your move to see if you refused to go away from him but you squeezed his hand tight and nodded, which as a signal to him, he smirked at Mingi.
He took your hand in his and turned around but as soon as he stepped outside the glass doors, he pointed at a particular car and told you to go there and he would be coming in two minutes. The hesitation of being left alone was well aware to him and he himself didn’t want to leave you but he had to go inside for once. Eventually you stepped towards the car and his eyes followed until you stood beside it and looked at him. He gave you a smile and went inside the doors again, he met Mingi on the way and stopped him.
“why the hell are you here?” Mingi asked in a frustrated way.
Yunho chuckled and patted his shoulder, “just to let you know one final thing. Even if you tried to win her over me. she was never yours. She was always mine to start with and I got her back from you.” Giving a final smile, he went back to his car.
As soon as he reached near it, he saw you petting a cat and wiping your tears.
“y/n…let’s go somewhere.”
You stood up straight and furrowed your brows, “where? I don’t want to be a bother.”
“y/n, have I ever told you that you are a bother to me? ever in this whole life since the day we first met in our childhood.” He smiled softly and cupped your cheeks. You shook your head and smiled when he planted a soft kiss on your forehead.
It took almost thirty minutes to arrive at the cliff. Both of your favorite places and the place where you could relive your memories. You were lost in your thoughts until he opened the door for you and extended his hand with a smile on his face.
Standing at the edge of the cliff, you let the fresh cold air caress your face with closed eyes. Yunho was enjoying the city view from where he was leaning against his car and his way of vision stopped at you, a smile automatically spread across his face. He admires you a lot…hell…he loves you a lot.
“y/n…”
“How is life, Yunho? Is it different from how you thought?” you asked him and turned towards him, mimicking his posture against the car.
He bit his lips and looked up at the sky, “I don’t know. I felt like I was lost when you got married.” He looked towards you and smiled, “I felt I am nothing without you.”
You laughed at him, if it were other times, you would have teased him for these lines but somehow neither of you were joking right now and you both were well aware of this. You are lost without him too.
“Me too.” You breathed out.
He furrowed his brow, “what do you mean?”
You took his hand and stared at it. The size difference between you both always makes you smile and it still has the same effect on you, “I have not seen you for years and today I feel like I got myself back again. Thank you.”
“what happened between you and him?” he was hesitant to ask but still as your best friend, he felt like asking you, to know what made you two separate…for good. At Least he was glad that you got to know about his real intentions maybe.
“Have you ever fallen in love?” your sudden question perked his ear up and he inhaled when your innocent childish face flashed in front of his eyes…the first time he saw you in the school courtyard. He nodded, “yes.”
“did you feel like you got everything you wanted?”
I got you but you never were mine.
“Maybe…” he wanted to say more than a word but your questions were puzzling his mind and not getting the answers he wanted. “But why are you asking me this?”
“coz Yunho…I felt like I was in paradise when I fell in love with Mingi. I had everything and I was happy…but I didn’t realize it was all just an illusion to trap me in his game. I was blind for him. I ignored you for him. I gave up everything for him. I couldn’t differentiate between right and wrong. I was lost in a void of lie. I-“
He pulled you in front of him and hugged you tight, pressing a long kiss on top of your head, “I know, y/n…it’s okay. You are here with me. We are here together. He can’t separate us again.”
“he was everything to me…but I was never his.”
“but you are always mine. Sorry if I’m late.” His arms around you tightened and your hold faltered. Mine?
You looked up and he was smiling but still you could see tears, “why are you crying, Yunho? Aren’t you my strong boy?” you wiped his tears. You haven’t seen him so weak in front of you. In childhood days, he had cried to you so many times but as you both grew up, he became a tougher and stronger guy, hiding his emotions behind his smile and always distracting you from all the negativity by his goofy side.
“I love you, y/n. I love you so much. Fuck…whenever you are with me, I feel like to keep you away from everyone. Today, after all these years, I realized how much I love you even more than I could realize. I think about you everyday. I have loved you everyday and I don’t why you are the only one who can make me feel like this.”
You cupped his cheek and he closed his eyes, enjoying the warmth of your palm, “I married her to get over the fact that I was deeply in love with you. Seeing you in the bridal look made me realize that you won’t be ever mine. I have lost you. You were standing there in the most mesmerizing look with a hope in your sparkling eyes for him…not for me.”
“Yunho…”
He opened his eyes to meet your starry eyes under the night sky, “you could have said to me earlier.”
“but I was never yours.”
“And I was never his. I was just an obsession.” Tears fell from your eyes.
He leaned down, his lips ghosting over yours, “but you are my dream. Everyday I felt like to fall asleep forever just to see you for once where you are mine.”
“kiss me, Yunho. Don’t wait any more, you have already wasted these years. Before you lose me forever, make me yours. Make me feel like how it is to be someone’s dream.” You smiled before he pulled you in a kiss.
A kiss for which he waited from the day he tried to confess to you.
So this is how it’s like to be yours, y/n.
The slow rhythm of lips, the desire in each other’s embrace, the warmth of love, the admiration in their eyes and moreover the love they can feel in the kiss. The cold air surrounding the warm embrace they were sharing under the dark night with twinkling stars like the twinkling hope for each other.
Parting from the kiss, he pecked your lips and planted a soft kiss on your forehead.
“I don’t want to lose you ever. From now on, wherever you go, I go.”
“I love you, Yunho. I should have realized this back then when I had a crush on you but I always thought that you were interested in other girls and I was just a best friend. I was so shocked that you never told me about your lover but suddenly handed me your wedding invitation.”
“I never loved her.”
“So you only married her to forget me. Using her?” You stared at his brown orbs and glanced how his brown hair was blowing in the wind.
He shook his head, “no. She knew it already. She even stayed up late at night when I couldn’t fall asleep. She was a good person and I helped her to run away with her lover. It was all planned to settle in a different country.”
“Thank you, Yunho. You still remained as a good person, a person I fell in love with. I don’t want to lose you too. You are perfect, Yunho and this hurts me.”
“You are my perfect dream.”
“But I exist in reality.” You chuckled lightly and he laughed heartily before pulling you to his chest.
You tightened your grip around his body when he hummed and resteda his chin on top of your head, “tell me I am not dreaming like always and you are finally mine. I am yours and he didn’t snatch you away from me.”
You kissed his chest, “even if this is a dream. Let’s not wake up together. Let’s be like this forever and dream of each other like this. You are mine and I’m yours, Yunho.”
“I always felt like I was never yours but now I feel like to be with you for eternity. Let’s run away.”
You smiled and closed your eyes in his embrace, “together.”
[Anon <3 I hope this is okay with you. I feel so emotional whenever I write for Yunho. I should declare officially that he is my bias. Anyways he is MY MAN 🎀]

You weren’t expecting much from the networking event. Another industry gathering, another round of forced small talk with people you barely knew. It was all part of the job, and as a soloist, you had grown used to navigating these events alone, wearing a practiced smile that concealed your reluctance. The dimly lit room buzzed with chatter, laughter, and the clinking of glasses. You scanned the crowd, picking out a few familiar faces, but there was one person among them who stood out and immediately caught your attention: Yoon Jeonghan.
He was effortlessly charming, leaning against a table with a drink in hand, his expression a mix of amusement and mischief. You’d seen him before at various events, always surrounded by people, always radiating charisma. Yet, there was something particularly infuriating about the way he seemed to command the room. His eyes drifted to you, and before you could turn away, he ambled over, a confident stride that suggested he was fully aware of his effect on others.
“I don’t think we’ve properly met,” he said smoothly, swirling his drink as he leaned against the table beside you. “Though, I’m pretty sure I already know what you think of me.”
You raised an eyebrow, ready to counter with your own sharp wit. “Oh? And what do I think of you?”
Jeonghan’s lips curled into that infuriating smirk you were beginning to dislike. “That I’m annoying.”
You scoffed, crossing your arms in mock defiance. “Well, if the shoe fits.”
His laughter was light and unbothered, as if he derived an odd sense of satisfaction from your irritation. “See? I knew it.”
There was something almost playful in the way he spoke, a quality that set your teeth on edge. As the night unfolded, each interaction carried a lingering tension, colored by the ongoing exchange of barbs and laughter. At first, it felt easy—just teasing remarks and sarcastic jabs passed between you whenever your paths crossed, but soon it grew into something altogether different, something you didn’t want to name. The more you tried to ignore him, the harder it became to dismiss the feelings that began to surface in the quiet moments between your jests.
Weeks passed, and it became impossible to shake the thought of Jeonghan, that irritating, charming devil who somehow infiltrated every aspect of your professional life. Every industry function felt like a drawn-out chess game, where both of you were unwilling players, struggling against the inevitable connection growing between you. He was insufferable, and yet, you found yourself keenly aware of his presence, whether it was a smirk across a crowded room or his witty commentary during promotional interviews. You became hyper-aware of the minute details—the way his hair fell just so, the twinkle of mischief in his eyes, and even the silly little things like the way he threw his head back when he laughed. It wasn’t supposed to matter, but it did.
The real turning point came one night after an award ceremony. You had been feeling disheartened and exposed under the scrutiny of industry peers. Exhausted and wanting to escape the feigned exhilaration of the event, you slipped out onto the balcony, allowing the cool air to wash over you while you gazed at the twinkling city lights spread out beneath you.
As you took a deep breath, trying to center yourself, the familiar voice of Jeonghan cut through the night, laced with amusement. “Ah, so this is where you’re hiding.”
You sighed, recognizing that it was just your luck to have him find you. “What do you want, Jeonghan?”
He leaned against the railing beside you, his gaze contemplative. “You always run away when things get too loud.”
Your heart raced at his observation, instinctively pushing back against the truth of his words. “How do you know that?”
He paused, tilting his head. “Because I pay attention.”
His declaration made your chest tighten. You turned to study him, but his gaze was fixed out toward the city, a contemplative stare that sent your thoughts spiraling. You pressed your lips together, trying to collect yourself, but the silence that settled between you was heavy and disarming.
For the first time, you couldn’t dismiss the feeling that crackled in the air between you—a blend of something familiar and something dangerously new. This was not part of your carefully cultivated routine. Not part of the game you two seemed to have been playing.
Before you could voice the flood of conflicting emotions squeezing your heart, you distanced yourself, shrugging off the moment as a fleeting encounter that would soon be forgotten. “I’ll see you around, Jeonghan.” And with that, you left, ignoring the ache in your chest that accompanied you as you walked away.
The following days morphed into a whirlwind of rehearsals, promotional events, and the mounting pressure of expectations. Yet, the more you tried to hide from him, the more he seemed to seep into your thoughts—each lingering touch, each hungry glance unmistakably igniting something within you. You had always prided yourself on being composed, level-headed, but with Jeonghan, your defenses were crumbling. The time you both spent navigating interviews and performances only served to heighten the tension, transforming your rivalry into a charged dance of emotions that blurred the lines you had tried so hard to maintain.
One fateful evening backstage after one particularly dynamic performance, adrenaline still thrumming through your veins, you sensed the weight of his presence before you even saw him. Jeonghan appeared seemingly from nowhere, grasping your wrist gently, his touch warm and both grounding and electrifying all at once. The intensity in his gaze was enough to render your heart still.
“Why do you keep running from this?” he asked, his voice carrying an earnest urgency that tugged at the pieces of your resolve.
Your breath hitched in your throat. “Running from what?” you croaked, pretending the breathlessness was only from the performance.
His grip tightened slightly, as if he were savoring the moment or trying to draw you in. “You know what.”
Silence enveloped you both, thick and electric, leaving a comforting familiarity in the chaos of your lives. You could hear your heartbeat echoing within, the sound drowning out the noise of the world around you. And for the first time under the weight of his gaze, you didn’t look away.
You could feel the truth blooming in your chest, and against every instinct honed by years of discipline and guarding your heart, you whispered, “You think I don’t feel it too? You think I don’t stay up at night, wondering what would happen if we just… let this happen?”
The tension in Jeonghan’s jaw tightened as if he were wrestling with the strain of unspoken desire. “Then why don’t we?” he pressed, his own voice trembling with possibility.
The weight of his question hung in the air—heavy and palpable. Fear knotted in your stomach. “Because once we cross that line, there’s no going back,” you replied softly, desperately seeking the sense to retreat and reclaim the ground you’d lost.
His expression softened, but there was defiance in the flickering behind his eyes. “Maybe I don’t want to go back,” he confessed, and in that moment, the world around you felt devoid of any boundaries.
Just as the gravity of what lay before you began to sink in, a voice pierced the fragile bubble encompassing you both. “Jeonghan! They need you for an interview.”
The moment shattered, the air thick with the unsaid words and unresolved tensions. Jeonghan stepped back, his hand releasing yours as if letting go of a spark that could ignite a fire. You longed for him to say something, to bridge the rift the interruption had caused, but he merely nodded, the moment waning like smoke through your fingers. “I’ll see you around, Y/N.”
And with that, he was gone, leaving behind only the echo of your unfulfilled yearning.
In the days that followed, you dove headfirst into work—rehearsals, interviews, late-night recordings—anything to distract you from the emotional upheaval that had begun to bubble beneath the surface. Yet, regardless of the frantic pace, the memory of Jeonghan lingered like an unfinished melody in your soul. Each time you laid your head on your pillow at night, the quiet of your room became a canvas for your thoughts, replaying the night in vivid detail—the warmth of his grasp, the longing in his eyes, and the undeniable connection that left an imprint on your heart.
Then one evening, you received a message that sent your heart racing.
Jeonghan: Meet me on the rooftop.
Your instincts flared to life in the glow of your phone screen, and as your fingers trembled over the keys, deliberating a reply, you found it unnecessary. The prospect of seeing him again filled you with both fear and exhilaration. Before you could second-guess your decision, you were on your way, each step carrying the weight of your anticipation.
The rooftop door creaked open, and the chill of the night air hit you like a wave, washing away doubts as you stepped into the open space. There, illuminated under the city lights, stood Jeonghan. The sight of him took your breath away—the way his hair tousled in the wind, the way he leaned easily against the railing as if he belonged in that moment. Everything fell away; all your worries, the collective chaos of your lives, lost their hold, leaving only the two of you suspended in time.
“Y/N,” he said softly, the sound of your name on his lips drawing you closer. “I’ve been waiting.”
You swallowed hard, the tension in the air thick with palpable desire. “For what?” you managed to ask, your voice breaking slightly as you crossed the distance between you, the irony of your earlier avoidance lost with each step toward him.
“For us to stop pretending,” he replied, the earnestness ringing clear. “I’m tired of running.”
You felt your heart race, a fierce wave of emotion washing over you. Here was the moment you had been both longing for and dreading. There were no easy answers, no perfect solutions. But staring into his eyes, you realized something fundamental: some things were worth the risk. And perhaps, just perhaps, this was one of them.
“Then don’t let this moment slip away,” you said, the determination in your voice surprising even yourself.
As Jeonghan moved closer, his warmth wrapping around you, the world outside disappeared, reduced to a hushed whisper. Everything you had fought against for so long began to unravel—the resistance, the fear, the uncertainty—all melting away in the warmth of his gaze. In that moment, everything felt finally right.
You reached for him, enveloped by the intimacy of the decision that lay between you. Jeonghan responded instantly, taking your hand and drawing you even closer until every boundary you had erected came crashing down. And as the city lights twinkled around you, mirroring the feelings flooding your heart, you both knew you had crossed the line.
As the night deepened, you shared stories beneath the stars—tales of ambition, heartbreak, and the laughter of spontaneity. With each revelation, the distance that once felt insurmountable began to close, revealing not just the deepening connection but the vulnerability that had always existed just below the surface. The barriers you had both put up to protect yourselves melted away under the warmth of honest conversation.
“You know,” Jeonghan started, his voice low, “I never intended for this to become so… complicated.”
You chuckled softly, recalling the initial animosity. “It’s funny how life works, isn’t it? One moment you’re rolling your eyes at each other, and now…”
Suddenly, you found yourself glancing at his lips, a wave of heat coursing through you. “Now, here we are.”
Jeonghan's gaze deepened, fingers brushing against your own in a caress that sent shivers down your spine. “I think it’s exactly where we’re meant to be.”
Time seemed to suspend as he leaned closer. Your heart raced in anticipation, breath hitching in your throat, but the familiar playful glimmer in his eyes remained. And for a fleeting moment, as the tension built between you, you thought he might close the distance.
Instead, he stopped just short, his breath brushing against your skin. “Y/N, what’s the worst that could happen if we really let ourselves feel this?”
A flood of emotions surged within you—fear mingled with exhilaration. “Everything.” You dared not voice the complicated web of possibilities weighing on your heart, but the truth was neither of you could afford to ignore the risks.
“Or,” he countered, his intensity unwavering, “we could discover something beautiful.”
For a moment, you were paralyzed by his gaze, by the gravity of his words. You knew the answer lay in abandoning the fears that threatened to drown you. The night sparkled around you, each star a possibility, each breath an invitation to step into the unknown.
Finally, you mustered your courage. “What if we start small? Just… let each other figure this out as we go?”
A smile tugged at the corner of his lips, relief washing through him. “I can work with that.”
Your fingers intertwined, a simple gesture that felt monumental after the struggle of the days prior. The smallness of the moment contrasted with the enormity of what you both had just taken a leap into, but it was enough. No grand proclamations, no lofty declarations—just a promise that you both would navigate this together, wherever it might lead.
Days passed, and the boundaries you had once carefully maintained began to dissolve as you opened yourself to the deepening connection with Jeonghan. Each casual touch became electric, each fleeting glance a tether that drew you closer together. You shared laughter, late-night conversations that streaked into dawn, and moments of vulnerability that revealed the layers of each other's lives that had been masked by public personas.
As this new chapter unfolded, you found comfort in the possibility of a friendship blossoming into something radiant. The playful banter remained, yet it had begun to shift into a language uniquely your own. Each encounter became a balance of merriment and longing, an uncharted dance where desire and friendship mingled.
“Are we ruining the friendship?” you asked one night, guilt gnawing at you after an evening spent laughing and sharing secrets, both aware of the undeniable undercurrent that had begun to emerge more frequently.
He tilted his head, a playful smile dancing on his lips. “What if I want to ruin it?”
“Is that a threat?” you shot back playfully, though your heart was racing at the mere thought.
“Maybe a promise,” he teased, leaning closer, the warmth between you undeniable.
But even amidst the growing closeness, the world around you remained unyielding. The demands of your careers loomed larger than both of you, mingling with the pressures of industry expectations and public scrutiny. Reality often pulled you apart just as you began to cement everything you had done to forge something new.
It wasn’t long before you found yourselves in the eye of the storm—heavy schedules, increased appearances, and the clamor of fans demanding attention all took their toll. The weight of it began to chip away at the fragile threads connecting you, the laughter replaced with anxious glances. You felt yourself drowning in it.
One evening, after a particularly grueling rehearsal, you found Jeonghan waiting for you backstage. He was pacing slightly, his expression troubled. “Hey, I was looking for you.”
The corner of your mouth lifted involuntarily, but the worry within you returned as you watched him. “What’s going on?”
“I’m just…” He hesitated, running a hand through his hair. “I’m feeling overwhelmed. This all feels so intense, and I don’t know if I can keep up with it.”
Your heart ached for him, feeling the burden of his worries translate into your own. Achievements had come swiftly for both of you, but what once had been thrilling now felt suffocating. “It’s okay to be scared,” you reassured. “I’m scared too.”
He frowned, frustration etched into his features. “But we can’t keep pretending this isn’t affecting us. We’re slipping away from each other just as we’re getting closer.”
The weight of his words pressed on you. You didn’t want to jeopardize what you had built, yet the fear and pressure of your realities combined seemed to overwhelm everything else. “What do we do?” you asked, seeking clarity in the chaos.
“Maybe we need to pause,” he suggested reluctantly. “Give ourselves some space?”
The suggestion stung more than you anticipated. The idea of pulling back felt like ripping apart the fabric of everything you had begun to create. “But we’ve come so far…”
“I know, but maybe it’s too much too fast.” His gaze softened, revealing the conflict within him. “I don’t want to lose you, but I also don’t want us to further complicate things.”
The truth was, you understood his reasoning. The very thing that drew you together—the chaos of your careers and the pressure of public perception—was also the exact force threatening to tear you apart. Gritting your teeth against the uncertainty, you struggled with the bitter taste of it all. “So we just stop?”
“I think we need to step back and figure this out,” he offered. “What we are, what we want.”
The bitter truth lingered in the air as you weighed his words. You nodded slowly, the sadness pooling in your chest. “Okay. Space it is.”
With a heavy heart, you both drifted back into the routines that had once been comforting—journeys through busy schedules, corporate events, and training sessions where laughter felt eclipsed by the looming weight of expectations. The separation felt akin to a tightrope act, constantly teetering on the verge of breaking.
For days, neither of you reached out. The silence stretched between you until it took on a life of its own, amplifying your fears and insecurities. You watched others continue on with their lives, happy musings floating around you like dust motes on a sunbeam. You missed him—missed the spark, the electric pull of his presence, the refuge you had found in one another.
But that silence was broken one afternoon when a text suddenly pinged through your phone while you were practicing in the studio.
Jeonghan: Can we talk?
Your heart skipped a beat, a rush of relief washing over you. You quickly typed a response, agreeing to meet at your favorite café later that evening.
When you arrived, the familiar smells of roasted coffee mingled with cake brought a sense of nostalgia that filled the empty space between you. Jeonghan was already seated at a corner table, his expression a mixture of nervousness and determination. Clad in casual attire, he looked both relaxed and on edge, fingers fidgeting over the surface of the table.
“Hey,” you said softly as you slid into the seat across from him.
“Hey.” He smiled, but the tension lingered just beneath the surface.
“I’m glad we’re talking,” you began cautiously. “I’ve missed you.”
“I’ve missed you too. A lot.” He sighed, running a hand through his hair again. “Things have only gotten crazier.”
You nodded in understanding—the industries you both navigated were unpredictable at best, and it was taking a toll on both of you. “I’ve felt lost without you. The laughter, the banter… it all feels so distant now.”
Jeonghan’s lips quirked into a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Yeah, it’s like the life got sucked out of our friendship. I didn't realize how much I relied on your presence until you were gone.”
His words echoed your own sentiments. The atmosphere they once occupied, full of teasing and warmth, had been replaced by a stark, empty silence. You wished for the playful Jeonghan who could make everything feel lighter, but the weight of your realities pressed heavily on him too.
Giving in to heartache, you leaned forward on the table. “I know things have been tough lately. I don’t want to pretend anymore.”
He looked at you, intent and searching, as if trying to find the right words. “Neither do I. I think we’ve both felt the strain of everything. It’s okay to admit that.”
As you sat across from him, an overwhelming urge to bridge the chasm that had formed swept over you. “So, how do we move forward? Do we go back to how things were? Or choose something else?”
Jeonghan’s eyes glimmered with a mix of hope and uncertainty. “Perhaps we can redefine our space together,” he suggested slowly. “We don’t have to rush back into everything right away. I want to be there for you—just maybe not be so consumed by it all.”
“Consumed?” You frowned, unsure of what he meant. “I thought that’s what we both wanted.”
He exhaled slowly, as if trying to release the frustration building inside him. “It is, but I think we also have to realize that our lives won’t stop just because we’ve found something good in each other. We need to learn how to balance everything—the craziness of our careers and the depth of what we have.”
You listened intently, the weight of his words ringing clear. He was right; it was time to prioritize honesty and understanding, building a relationship on a foundation that balanced spontaneity with stability. “Okay, then let’s find that middle ground.”
His expression brightened, igniting hope. “Let’s promise to be open about it, no matter how awkward it gets.”
“Deal,” you agreed wholeheartedly, feeling a bit of your old spirit revive within you. The subtle warmth of renewed closeness seeped back into the cracks created by the space you had put between yourselves.
As you both emerged from the café, the cool air greeted you, fresh and invigorating. Walking side by side down the busy street, you began to talk freely about everything—the pressures, the little victories, the external chaos intertwined with your internal struggles.
“Do you remember the first time we met?” Jeonghan asked, a smirk on his lips.
You chuckled, recalling that night vividly. “Yes, I do. You were insufferable.”
“Hey! I was confident,” he defended, playful indignation written across his face. “That’s a valuable quality!”
“More like cocky,” you teased back. “But you did manage to get my attention.”
He laughed. “Well, I guess that counts for something.”
As you ventured through the city, cautiously navigating where both of your hearts lay, the atmosphere felt charged with unspoken possibilities. The lively pulse of the streets around you mirrored the connection that was slowly rekindling with each step you took together.
Over the next few weeks, you both settled into a rhythm that felt both exhilarating and terrifying. Text exchanges burst with laughter, casual dinners turned into longer conversations, and moments of touch—despite the excitement of newfound intimacy—were delicately navigated. Both of you understood there was still a great deal to figure out, but you were on the path to rebuilding something meaningful.
One evening, after a long practice session, the two of you found yourselves sprawled out in the living room of your apartment, exhausted but content. The setting sun cast a golden hue over the room, creating an atmosphere that felt intimate and safe. You were both watching a show when Jeonghan reached over to steal a piece of popcorn, laughter erupting between you as you playfully smacked his hand away.
“Seriously, Jeonghan? You’re obnoxious!”
“Am not!” he retorted, dramatically pressing his hand to his heart. “I’m a gentleman! It’s my duty to protect women from unwarranted popcorn!”
Giggling, you tossed a stray popcorn kernel at him, which he dodged, eyes sparkling with mischief. “Yeah, I can see that.”
The banter continued, and with each passing moment, the tension from a few weeks prior began to dissolve. These evenings felt like a sanctuary from the pressures of the outside world, where you could just be Y/N and Jeonghan—friends navigating a shared journey, weaving in and out of shared dreams and laughter.
As night fell, you turned your attention back to the television, but Jeonghan remained quiet, a contemplative look crossing his features as he stared blankly at the screen. The change in energy didn’t go unnoticed; you shifted your gaze to him, concern filling your heart.
“Hey,” you said softly. “What’s on your mind?”
He drew in a deep breath, still focused on the screen. “I just… I can’t help but wonder how much longer we can sustain this.”
Confusion washed over you, and a thread of anxiety creeped into your chest. “Sustain what?”
“This,” he gestured between you, signaling the room—the laughter, the shared moments. “It feels too good to be true. I’m afraid I’ll wake up and realize this is all a dream.”
Understanding dawned on you, and you reached for his hand, intertwining your fingers. “Jeonghan, this is real. I don’t want to rush the future or put pressure on us, but we can figure this out together. I promise I’ll be here.”
Turning to meet your gaze, his eyes glimmered with a mixture of hope and apprehension. “That’s what I need to hear.”
This reassurance seemed to diffuse the moment, allowing the weight of his fears to lessen. Your hands remained entwined, grounding both of you in the present. You squeezed his fingers gently. “One step at a time, right?”
“Right,” he echoed, his spirit renewing as he cracked a smile. “You’re probably the only person I’d take advice from.”
Laughter cascaded between you again, easing the underlying tension. You resumed watching the television, but the energy had shifted once more. It was a moment of reassurance, a step toward cultivating deeper trust. In those simple interactions, you began to see a glimpse of what a future together could hold—not just for your friendship but for the relational territory that lay ahead.
As autumn crept in, the leaves around you transformed into a vibrant tapestry of reds and yellows. The world outside reflected the changes brewing within your relationship, seemingly alive with new possibilities. You could still feel the undercurrent of apprehension but it now harmonized with excitement—something thrilling lurking just beyond the horizon.
Days blended into nights filled with comfort, shared silences, and explorations on what brought each other joy. You began to discover deeper wishes, dreams, and hopes held within his heart, just as he unearthed your own passion for music, aspirations woven into your life like threads. You began to trust this feeling as one borne not from desperation, but from newfound encouragement and understanding.
One evening, after you both ventured to an open mic night at a local venue, Jeonghan turned to you as the applause echoed in the dim-lit bar. “You could do that, you know.”
“What? Sing in front of people?” you shot back, a mix of disbelief and concern suffusing your tones.
He nodded fervently. “Absolutely! You’ve got the talent. You shouldn’t hold yourself back.”
“Maybe, but standing on that stage, everyone watching… It’s terrifying,” you confessed. “What if I fail?”
“Failure is part of the journey,” he insisted earnestly. “And everyone who’s ever accomplished something has had to start somewhere.”
His words stirred something deep within you, igniting the flicker of a dream long buried under the weight of self-doubt. You pondered this new possibility, wondering if he might be right. Were you brave enough to harness that fear and turn it into something remarkable?
The next few days found you pondering the idea. Jeonghan’s encouragement lingered at the back of your mind. Could you dare to take that leap? You began to contemplate returning to songwriting, pouring your thoughts and emotions into lyrics, using your art as an outlet.
“Hey,” you called out one afternoon while you were both passing time in your apartment.
“Yeah?” Jeonghan replied, looking up from his phone.
“Do you want to help me write again?” The question slipped out, your heart racing at the admission. You hadn’t written anything in months.
Surprise lit up his features. “Really? Of course! I’d love to! When’s our songwriting session?”
“Now,” you replied, stifling the flutter of nerves that threatened to overwhelm you.
He grinned wide, an enthusiasm that made your heart swell. “Lead the way!”
With that, you both retreated to your makeshift songwriting space, filled with scattered sheets of paper and guitars resting against the walls. You began to outline a few thoughts — fragments of emotion birthed from your experiences, everything poured out on paper as Jeonghan chimed in, guiding you gently.
As the day spilled into evening, laughter interspersed with earnest deliberation, the lyrics began to dance from your minds to the page. The creative chemistry between you intensified, weaving together moments of vulnerability and excitement like threads capturing memories of the past.
Yet, amidst the thrill of creation, you began to feel a blossoming emotion deep in your chest—one entwined in the passion of your music and the connection you shared. Jeonghan’s laughter filled the space around you, and when he glanced over, that playful spark in his eyes ignited warmth in your heart. The tension between friendship and something deeper thrummed like a beat to a song caught just out of reach.
“Y/N,” he began, his tone shifting, serious. “Promise me you’ll do this. Trust in what you’re creating.”
His confidence resonated, casting a spotlight on the hopes you had tucked away for so long. And yet, alongside it was the fear—the weight of potential exposure. “That’s easier said than done.”
“I believe in you.” His sincerity enveloped you, and suddenly the doubts began to feel less daunting. “This is your chance to take it all back. Own your voice.”
You absorbed his encouragement, heart fluttering at the possibility of acceptance, both of yourself and the emotions you had been fighting so hard to ignore. Something was shifting within you—it was as if a window had been flung wide open.
“Okay,” you replied, courage blossoming amidst vulnerability. “Let’s do it together.”
The days that followed blurred into an exhilarating whirlwind of collaboration. You poured everything you had into your songs, a blend of inspirations echoing through your mind. Jeonghan remained by your side—the steady beat to your heart, encouraging you every step of the way.
As the week reached its final moments, you made a leap of faith. You decided it was time to share your lyrics with a small group at the same open mic bar where Jeonghan had initially offered you support. You hoped to quell your fears in front of a familiar audience, readying yourself for the impending soft glow of the stage.
In the dim lighting of the venue, surrounded by the murmur of anticipation, you felt a wave of nerves crash against your resolve. Jeonghan sat in the front row, an unwavering pillar of assurance.
As you stepped up to the microphone, the world outside faded. Each breath felt heavy; anticipation pooled at the edges of your chest. But as you began to sing, every note flowed seamlessly into the air, carrying the raw emotions you had once kept confined.
The audience responded, caught up in the heart of your lyrics, and you felt lighter with every word. The release of pent-up feelings coursed through you, and as you layered your lyrics over the guitar, you soared into a space that felt transcendent. Each chord felt alive, revealing a piece of your soul that had long been hidden.
When the final note resonated, silence bloomed before an eruption of applause followed—a wave that surged over you. You caught Jeonghan’s eye, and the pride sparkling in his expression ignited a sense of triumph.
Your heart swelled, an overwhelming sense of liberation washing over you. You had done it. You had opened yourself up to vulnerability, and the support around you felt like a safety net that patiently caught you as you took a leap of faith.
After the performance, Jeonghan rushed up to you, an elated smile plastered on his face. “You were incredible! I knew you could do it!”
Your laughter echoed in the air as you lost yourself in the moment, a swirl of exhilaration lighting your spirit. “I felt… alive. Thank you for pushing me to do this.”
“You didn’t need my push; you had it in you all along.”
As the atmosphere pulsed with shared joy, the bond you forged through both ambition and fear tightened. You embraced him, gratitude and warmth blending as the world around you fell away. This was transformative—not just for your music but for the essence of what lay between you both.
From that night onward, your relationship shifted, evolving into a blossoming partnerships—a unique blend of creativity, support, and the nascent trust carefully forged through each tender moment. You were both artists navigating complexity together, weaving love with friendship across the vast canvas of the world surrounding you.
As you continued to perform, releasing music and experimenting with creative ventures, you basked in the glow of your shared journey. You learned to embrace the dichotomy of pursuing dreams while safeguarding the emotions between you, growing inseparable each step of the way.
In the chaos of touring, interviews, and industry obligations, you found moments to pause, ensuring you still prioritized each other. Every quiet evening spent together, every laughter shared over inside jokes, continued to strengthen you both through the ups and downs, creating a shared narrative built on love, friendship, and resilience.
Seasons passed, evolving like an intricate melody—full of vibrant highs and heartbreaking lows. But with every ebb and flow, both of your hearts beat stronger in tandem, walking hand in hand through trials and triumphs. You ventured forth side by side; grounded yet reaching for the stars as you learned to trust not only your hearts, but also each other.
One night, as you both quietly stargazed on your rooftop, a sense of tranquility enveloped you both, the city stretched out before you a canvas of endless possibility. Jeonghan turned to you, the glow of the stars illuminating his features. “Y/N,” he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper, “I don’t want to lose what we’ve built.”
You reached for his hand, intertwining your fingers once more as you felt the familiar spark of connection. “You won’t. I promise to be here, through everything. You mean too much to me.”
His gaze softened, vulnerability crackling between you. “You’ve become the most important part of my life. I never expected to find this with you.”
Your heart soared at his words, a powerful mix of relief and affection coursing through your veins. “Neither did I. But I’m glad I did.”
With every passing moment spent beneath the stars, the knowledge of what once had felt unattainable—fear, doubt, and ambition—began to dissolve into something tangible and real. No longer were you two dancing around emotions that once hung heavy between you; you moved together effortlessly, embracing the journey ahead, knowing whatever lay on the horizon was worth every step.
As the sky darkened and the stars twinkled brightly overhead, you leaned into him, sharing a quiet connection far richer than prior moments. This was more than friendship; this was love entwined with understanding, an exploration into the depths of what courage and honesty could build.
And so, side by side, in the midst of uncertainty, you both chose to embrace every moment with the beauty and complexity of life—a path woven with grace, laughter, and the undeniable warmth of real connection. Together, through it all, you would continue to write the story of your lives, hand in hand, heart to heart.

the ideal career for you
from left to right; intuitively choose the pile you feel more connected to. To make it easier, you can take a deep breathe, close your eyes and ask for guidance to your deities or guides. These are all general messages, so just take what resonates and leave what doesn't. This reading is timeless. If it resonates, feedback is always appreciated and motivates to keep doing pick a card readings. You can donate here.
divider: @animatedglittergraphics-n-more
pile 1
the moon, 7 of wands, ten of cups
this pile includes 18+ themes, so please skip over it if you are under 18. You can pick other pile.
with this pile, I'm getting a lot of possible careers coming through. I feel like many of you might end up working in careers that require you to work at night or until night. However, I do also see that some type of fame and recognition is very possible here and that you will keep this air of mystery, regardless of how famous and known you are. Some people reading this pile might even have more than one career from these options throughout their lives or even change it up a bit later on in life when you are more stable, looking forward to the field that truly makes you happy and fulfilled.
Now, some of you this indicates jobs in public eye. Some of you will be entertainers and bring joy to others. This can mean being an actor, singer, artist, musician, a comedian, a dancer or even could mean being an illusionist, working at the circus or at the entertainment part of hotels and touristic areas.
This might be especially true if you have leo and 9th house placements, if you love to sing, if you like to dye your hair or paint your nails. It might also resonate if your initials are C, K or M. Some of you who like to wear bold eyeliners can also resonate with this.
For some of you, I feel like you might end up becoming strippers (and yes this includes some men reading this) and get even some popularity from this. While this is sex work, keep in mind it still is counted as entertainment by many. Alternatively, you could go into burlesque/cabaret or similar things. Later on, for some of you, I do see a career change into something new you'll fall in love with but this will keep you afloat for a long time and many of you will enjoy it, especially due to the money. Others will make enough money to retire early or even leave early and just invest and live life. Now please, keep in mind that for those of you in this field, it is important for you to keep yourself safe and work in regulated spaces.
This could especially resonate for you if you have a couple tattoos, that know how to belly dance, that like smoothies, that have curly hair, that wear glasses/contacts, that love working out or go on shopping sprees. If you have a tongue piercing, it could also be a sign it resonates. Extra confirmation of any of you are aquarius, leo or virgo, especially with moon in scorpio or moon in capricorn.
Alternatively, some of you could end up working as dj's at clubs, bartenders or even bodyguards. This seems like it will actually help you meet a lot of people, make connections and network. I see some people even managing or owning nightclubs/bars later in life. The same could go for motels/hotels, although the sexual theme is being compelled here, so I think a motel seems somewhat likely for those of you this resonates with.
I feel like for some of you, you might become teachers/professors who give night lectures at universities or even to bigger audiences in important conferences. I feel like your input in your field will be extremely important. For those who will follow this teaching path, I feel like you will either be a political science, sociology, sexology or arts/entertainment teacher. And some of you could even end up having some minor career in politicians (like being a deputy/congress person in a parliament).
I feel like this one can apply for everyone in this group, so there is a chance any of you do end up doing this later in life out of passion.
For those of you thinking of going into investing into property or in general, I feel like this will go extremely well for you. Again you might invest in nightclubs/motels like i mentioned or even in rehabilitating older houses in usually less appealing neighborhoods, giving it a new life and appreciation and increasing thr value and safety of the area. If you want to invest in stocks instead, definitely invest in things related to the topics above. For some of you, I heard "invest in HIV research" so pick medicine companies that are working on researching it and creating cures/treatments. I'm also getting a special warning to not invest into crypto/nfts if you pick this pile.
pile 2
7 of pentacles; Tower; 3 of wands; Queen of Cups
I'm getting that some of you might get a career that has a long path to go through and that might include having a lot of patience. I feel like this could indicate some of you will have to study a lot and spend years and thousands on education to get this career, which leads me to think some of you are becoming doctors or medical practitioners. Alternatively, you could be in a career that will require you to start with low paying entry level jobs, but that will take you to the top positions that will be extremely well paid. I see that for some, this could also indicate having to go through an unpaid or lowly paid internship in order to make your way into the field or being in a job that doesn't pay you well and overworks you before switching to a better one.
For some of you, this wait in order to collect the seeds of your labour can be literal as in becoming a gardener, a farmer or even similar jobs in agricultural management or even owning a flower shop. This could, in a few cases, also involve baking and cooking and all the time that can go into it.
There are a group of you that this wait refers to working on your psychic and intuitive abilities as well as on your spiritual knowledge to the point of mastery and make a career out of it.
Like I mentioned before, I do see many healers, doctors and medics coming out of this pile, psychologists, psychiatrists and therapists are also coming in strong. Some might also go into traditional medicine and hollistic practices, maybe even reiki, energy work or medical astrology. I see that checking your 12th house or pisces placements either on your solar chart or on your midheaven persona chart can help you confirm this information.
Those of you that are thinking about going into therapy and psychology are being recommended to look into specializing in anger management and conflict resolution, so possibly something like family and couple therapy.
There could also be some of you that create youtube channels/instagram pages to help others with your knowledge and tips.
A small percentage of you might end up becoming a military medic/doctor/nurse as well, specializing in helping wounded soldiers. On the same note, a military cook is also possible.
It is also very important to note for everyone who picked this pile that your career might cause you emotional overwhelm or pressure, so always be sure to protect your energy and not allow yourself to be too drained.
This strong energy also takes me to believe some of you will be writers or artists, which also makes sense for the time aspect of this reading, as making art or writing can be time consuming. Some of you could even become freelancers or start creative industry enterprises/businesses.
These are just extra confirmations, so if nothing of these signs match you, it doesn't mean the pile is wrong for you.
This could resonate especially if you've recently watched a documentary or movie touching on the subjects of oppression, if you're in university or if you have been to university and if you have ever worked a waiter/public service job. If you enjoy stuff like Silent Hill and Red Dead Redemption, this could also resonate with you. Same if you like purple and blue or are wearing either. Extra confirmation if you're a taurus, gemini, aries or capricorn. Also if you specifically have a libra venus in either tropical or vedic.
pile 3
Lovers, Death, Star, Tower, Four of Pentacles
This pile has a brief mention of de*th and s**cide, so if you're very sensitive to those topics, please avoid this pile.
With the number of major arcanas here, I feel like whatever career you end up picking, you will have an important role in the area and maybe do something very groundbreaking in it. You'll be essential in your job/career and could even change the world in a way with it. No matter how small of a change it is, it will still be impactful.
The career will involve other people or at least one more person to some degree, this could be either a business/work partner or work involving clients or the public.
I'm getting two main groups here. One group will be focusing on healing and some type of therapy, especifically involving death. So this could be councilling focused on helping disaster survivors or grief therapy to help people who lost their loved ones or witnessed traumatic deaths. You will essentially be very important to help them move on and find themselves again. Because the Star can be related to peace, being true to one self and healing, you will definitely help people heal and find their peace and meaning in life again. For some of you, you could also help people who attempted suicide or have suicidal tendencies, helping them to work through this. You will help people who have lost everything and you'll help them rebuild their lives back up with healthier and better foundations, allowing them to feel more secure and in control of themselves and their lives.
For the other group, I feel like your work will be focusing more on creative industries. This could be publishing and marketing for some, however I feel like many of you will embark on music and acting careers, which will help many people also heal and have healthy coping mechanisms.
I feel like your music or your acting (mainly acting) will allow you to become separate from yourself for a moment by wearing another persona and putting yourself in someone else's shoes, but also will allow you to explore different aspects of yourself, giving you a deeper understanding of yourself and others. For some, this could be a musical theatre career. If not, you could become a music composer for movies and shows or even a music producer.
I'm also seeing some of you will be a play writer or a movie writer/director. I feel like there might be moments of your career you won't feel as valued, but rest assured there will be millions loving your work. You might also have extremely innovative ideas for the field and do things, create storylines no one has ever really seen before. You could even create a new genre of cinema or a new wave/style of film.
For a smaller percentage of you, I'm also seeing that you might be doing something money/management related, so an investor or establishing a new business/company that might help people around the world.
Extra confirmation if you like rock n' roll or watched an Elvis Presley movie/documentary or read a tweet about him recently. If you consume true crime, especially from the 80's, if you enjoy the aesthetic of the circus. It might also resonate if you listen to Britney and/or Mariah or if your favorite color is red. If you like high heels, especially louboutins, or enjoy using red/dark lipsticks, or shaved your legs in the previous 3 days, this is also extra confirmation for you. Could also apply if you're a scorpio, sagittarius or pisces.

PAIRINGS | Vampire! Killer! Sunwoo x Cryptozoologists! Fem! Reader
GENRE | Vampire Au, Angst, Fluff(ish)
WORD COUNT | 2.3k
SYNOPSIS | What happens when multiple series of death happen at the same time, all with different motives and zero connection between the victims. Most people would blame an organization; but your team blames something… a little more otherworldly.
WARNINGS | Mentions of death, unnatural cases, a bit of blood, crime scenes, swear words(ish)
NETWORK | @deoboyznet @starlit-network @k-library
A/N | It took me a while along with a lot of postponing, but this is my submission for @deoboyznet boyz who bite event. It isn't my best work at all, a bit lazy but it will due :D
“Y/n! What do we do with them?”
You stared at the body which laid on the floor, unsure of how to respond to your colleagues.
The police had called your team because this case looked unnaturally gruesome, something that didn't look like the work of a human due to the extent of it. You were put in charge for the moment; though you weren't the main boss.
“Bring them to the lobby for now. It'd be important to bring them in for investigation.” you finally responded, seeing your coworker nod in understanding and run over to those in charge of caring for the corpse.
You sighed, turning around and spotting Chanhee approaching you, clipboard in hand.
Choi Chanhee was one of the newer guys; he was in charge of concluding what monster everyone should be expecting in a certain situation based on any small clues he could find; this was actually his first serious case.
“Whatcha find?” You asked informally, seeing him chuckle as he took a spot right next to you.
“I found a couple things on the body, such as two bite marks on their neck and multiple stains of unidentifiable blood covered fingers on walls. It seems like whoever, or whatever did this knows that they won't be in police systems.”
You stared at his writing, nodding in response.
“Right so-” before you could finish your question he shushed you with an undeniable confidence. You held your laughter, trying to remain professional, but to be completely honest you thought it was adorable.
“Vampires are the most likely cause.” He stated, making you second glance all the gathered clues and nod.
“It'd make sense; the two bite marks and fingerprints seem to add up.” you started, scanning the room for any other missed clues that had yet to be discovered. You glanced back to see him slowly walking forward, you followed him shortly after.
“However, I also found that the fingerprints carried a certain detail that could prove helpful in our investigation. I took some time to study the previous records that we have on various creatures, and found a seemingly repetitive pattern for vampires. All of them have this certain mark on their finger that they receive depending on their vampire age. The older the vampire is, the bigger and more evident the mark will be.”
He approached a stained wall, locating the mark and allowing you to inspect it.
“Judging by this mark; it appears this vampire is quite young, appearing to only age around 15-25 years old.”
You glanced back at him.
“You found all of this just by looking at a fingerprint?”
He chuckled awkwardly, nodding his head in response. How could such an important factor go unnoticed? Was all you could bring yourself to ask, not out loud, but it was still a worthy question.
“Alright then, best go talk to a superior on this new discovery. You better teach us about this age telling mark.” You said with a tease, watching him grin before nodding.
“Y/n!” A voice called from afar. It was Juyeon, who had been jogging towards you while holding a folder.
“What is it?” You asked, seeing him hand over the folder full of files.
“Your husband… Kim Sunwoo is here to pick you up.”
“What!?”
Chanhee and Juyeon looked over at you with a confused expression. You shook your head to snap out of your transe and decided to accept it.
“Not sure why he decided to do so in a time like this but alright.”
Glancing around, you called out and decided to put Jacob in charge. He was the better option between everyone in the crowd.
Waving goodbye and making your way outside; stepping over the ‘crime scene’ tape as you approached your husband.
“What important event is it today that you had to pick me up early?” You asked teasingly, watching him look up from his phone to return that teasing gaze.
“Forgot our anniversary?”
Your expression immediately dropped as you scrambled for your phone, watching him burst out laughing as the screen lit up and showed a different date.
“I'm kidding.”
“You jerk.” You responded with a laugh, placing your phone back inside of your pocket before looking back up at him who was leaning down to plant a small kiss on your forehead.
“Hey now, that’s a bit rude.” he chuckled teasingly, earning a mimic from you as he walked over to the driver side door. You entered the vehicle and felt the car go into drive. You simply stared out the window as he drove off; the small restaurant which had become a crime scene vanished out of sight.
Far too focused into your own thoughts, you spoke without much of a thought.
“Sunwoo… do you believe in monsters? All those creatures we hear and see in movies and novels?” You asked in a low voice that expressed your exhaustion.
He hesitated for a moment, stopping at the next red light and relaxing back on his seat for a moment as he remained silent. He sighed, “There must be something out there.” he muttered, almost to himself as he leaned back up upon the once red light becoming a bright neon green.
“Something you discovered at work?” He questioned, to which you nodded, not moving your gaze from the window and continuously staring at the outside.
It wasn’t supposed to be said, but Sunwoo was your husband and you practically told him everything that was meant to be kept secret from anyone outside of those in the organization.
“A new body was discovered. Police say that the murder must have taken place sometime around the early hours of the morning.” you groaned, watching him glance at you through the rear view mirror and nod.
“So many new cases of late; have you ever thought they all may be connected?” he questioned, watching you glance over back at him and nod knowingly.
“We have, but it seems that the culprits are all different people and none of the victims seem to be closely related. I suppose the motives should be different as well.”
He didn’t say much after that, simply listened and offered to buy you fast food; and well, you didn’t ask him to say much either, afterall it was a situation between you and your colleagues; something between you and your job.
—-----------
Sunwoo approached the doorway, wiping the red off of his cheek and slipping into the warmth of his jacket; knocking on the door and waiting for the person on the other side.
The door opened slowly and cautiously.
“Sunwoo? How the hell are you walking around like that?” He said, being quick to drag him into the room.
“Don't overthink it.” Sunwoo reassured, entering the small and cozy living space and taking a seat on the couch. “I was cautious when making my way over here.”
“I surely hope you were.” He muttered, breathing a sigh of relief as he passed Sunwoo a black towel to clean himself.
“So what have you been up to Eric?” Sunwoo said casually, earning a reaction from Eric as he immediately turned due to his nonchalant attitude.
“That's what I would like to ask you. What did you do?” Eric redirected, brewing some coffee and taking down 3 mugs from the cabinets above.
Sunwoo stared before sighing and smiling to himself. “I’m not sure if I should-”
“Sunwoo?”
He turned around to the sound of his name, smiling upon seeing Eric’s roommate, Haknyeon, who was coming out of the shower and drying his hair with a towel.
“What happened to you?” He asked, unsurprised by Sunwoo’s current state and messy appearance.
“I'd like to talk about it; but before that let me take a shower. If I returned home like this I'd earn a concerned stare from Y/n.”
Eric and Haknyeon nodded in understanding, Eric's eyes softening upon the mention of his friend's soulmate. Sunwoo walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind him.
***
They all sat in the living room, warm coffee in hands along with small store-bought muffins and pastries. Both Eric and Haknyeon refused to look away from Sunwoo, staring at him until he finally decided to speak up.
“Alright, alright.” He chuckled, placing his mug down and reaching out for a small plate.
“You don't need to speak up, we're just curious.” Eric added, to which Sunwoo shook his head.
“No worries.” He reiterated.
Haknyeon and Eric listened intently, taking a couple sips from their coffee's and paying attention to every word he spoke. Though at first disagreeing they eventually agreed and let go of the entire situation.
—-----------
You stared in confusion, seeing their uneasy stares.
“Please take a look.” He said, making you take the envelope from his hand and stare down at it.
In the envelope, there were multiple photographs of the crime scene from the previous day. At first glance there isn’t anything particularly wrong with them; it wasn’t until closer inspection that you noticed the figure who lingered in the back of the photos. All except one.
“Who is that..? You stuttered, seeing them take glances at each other before shaking their heads.
“We were hoping you would know that...” Jacob replied, the small bit of hope in his voice fading into an abyss of emptiness.
As if on cue, Chanhee walked into the room. His curiosity had gotten the better of him and he decided to check what the sudden commotion was about; heart dropping upon hearing the news of the mysterious person in the back of the captured pictures and almost quitting right then and there.
“This doesn't make sense. Vampires don't appear on pictures. They can't appear on pictures..!” Chanhee exclaimed, making you all glance at him realization.
He was right. Vampires and many other mythical creatures don't appear on photographs due to the fact that they aren't exactly alive; they aren't technically real.
Jacob and Hyunjae tried to reason, maybe it was one of your people though it was highly unlikely. Juyeon stayed silent, although you knew it was just him trying to make himself feel better about the entire situation. You on the other hand, took the time to analyze the photo better, the body shape seemed oddly familiar to you.
“If there was someone else there; I'm confused as to how they went unnoticed.” A voice spoke from the doorway.
You all turned around, coming face to face with Kevin who stood in the entryway of the room. Hyunjae’s face lit up by the entrance of the familiar face; feeling better to see someone reliable and different.
“Or how they got passed the cops who were positioned outside on that manner.” Jacob added, his voice of fear being replaced by annoyance.
However, you remained silent as they all argued, and for that left the room without saying another word. This was more than just a vampire case and you knew it. It was a case of some sort of betrayal.
—-----------
You laid in bed, being joined by your husband soon after who laid beside you, taking you into his embrace and cuddling you, pressing multiple lazy kisses up to your temple.
“Long day?” He asked in a comforting voice.
“Doesn't matter right now.” You smiled, feeling his lips plant another small peck onto your forehead. His breath was shallow, low and solacing; bringing you a relaxing sensation that drifted you off into a deep state of unawareness.
You didn't know what happened next, you fell asleep.
5:27 A.M.
Sunwoo wasn't by your side.
He was gone, vanished from sight..
You waited for a couple seconds, thinking he might've gone downstairs to get a cup of water from the kitchen; but as the minutes went by, you started to discriminate that thought furthermore.
Lifting yourself from the bed, you made your way to the closet, taking out a jacket and finding the arm holes to slip into, zipping up the zipper and finding the door inside of the dark room. Your walk down the stairs was careful, your mind felt like it had been in a dream-like state, which made it difficult to concentrate when you found your shoes next to the door.
It took you a moment before you registered the feeling of the outside wind brushing up against your cheek, hair flowing by the cold air, moonlight shining inside of the house and illuminating the dark space.
“What are you doing awake?” He said, walking inside yet keeping the door open to allow the midnight air to enter of the enclosed area.
“I would ask you the same question.” You said with unintended seriousness that caused him and his stomach to turn.
“I just went out for a walk-”
You shook your head, he was lying once more and this time you wouldn't stand by it. You felt your throat tighten, in a tenseness that you found yourself unable to describe.
“Blood. It's on your shirt.”
Your mouth said it before your eyes had noticed. He looked down and glanced back up, eyes an unsettling red color that hadn't been there before. Something that only appeared now.
“Right.” He agreed, nodding casually at your words as if it was normal to be carrying around a shirt full of red stains.
You knew now,
Vampires were a very real thing.
Something so real that they shouldn't be second guessed. The way humans don't second guess another human's existence.
But vampires weren't the worst of creatures, at least not all of them. There were definitely worse things on this planet; worse stuff than blood sucking monsters who were on the constant look out for a fresh meal.
But some didn't feed off of human blood, others straight up hated it, it was different for everyone. Vampires had their own taste and likes, just like humans did. In fact, humans and vampires were species of similar kind.
Both held similar complexity, and strived to survive from everyday dangers. If any creature had the chance of blending in almost flawlessly with a human crowd, it'd be a vampire.
And of course, finding out your lifetime partner’s secret couldn't be helped. It was an obvious shock, but you learned to accept it everytime you remember his vivid words that night, reaching out his hand to bring you into the night sky with him.
“Will you join me?”

Advice for Turtle Islanders
Hey everyone, I’m aware that I’m very privileged to live in a country where the government are like, regular level shit instead of Trumpian, so I wanted to help out people living in the so-called USA however I could. Here’s my advice for what it’s worth - I don’t have experience living under an authoritarian state but I have studied history and been paying attention to what everyone has been saying in the past few weeks, so I thought I’d offer some of my suggestions for how to keep yourselves and your neighbours safe going forward. It’s hard to know what to go so far as to suggest, since it’s just so unpredictable what might happen over the next few years. But in the interests of predicting every eventuality, I hope you’ll overlook any particularly outlandish suggestions. Hopefully it won’t get as far as some of these actions imply, but it’s always better to be prepared than blindsided. You don’t have to do all these things. Just do what you can, and remember you aren’t alone
-Join a labour union, go to meetings, and be prepared to strike
-Attend protests even if you think they won’t do anything. But bear in mind you will increasingly risk arrest and police brutality. Dress unremarkably, don’t take photos at protests and DEFINITELY don’t share them online
-Call your senators, congresspeople, governors, state legislators, mayors and city councillors. Continually bother them and kick up a fuss about even the smallest thing you disagree with. It’s important to keep government busy so implementing evil legislation is harder
-Set up or volunteer with a community fridge/kitchen or homeless shelter
-Knock on your neighbours’ doors and start getting to know them. If they are safe people, build relationships of reciprocity and care with them
-Read. Expose yourself to as many ideas as you can, but especially political theory, queer storylines and other subversive texts. Some recommendations:
Hope in The Dark by Rebecca Solnit
The Dispossessed by Ursula K Le Guin
How to Stand Up to a Dictator by Maria Ressa
Anything by Marx, Kropotkin, Chomsky, Gelderloos, Freire, Fanon, Foucault, Harvey, Graeber, etc
Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer
The Faggots and their Friends Between Revolutions by Larry Mitchell
Pirate Care by Marcell Mars, Valeria Graziano and Tomislav Medak
No Ordinary Men by Elisabeth Sifton and Fritz Stern
Conspiracy of Decency by Emmy E. Werner
-Try to set up or join a local group in your community that discusses political or philosophical ideas, does consciousness-raising, builds connections between neighbours, provides stopgap services to desperate people, teaches people their legal rights, or some equivalent act of mutual aid or resistance
-Key in to existing activist networks for climate, racial, migrant or gender justice - attend their events, fund them, give your time
-Consider whether at some point you’d be willing to do things the government will tell you are forbidden, risking arrest, imprisonment and possibly more severe consequences further down the line. You will have to answer to your own conscience but it’s also important to try and keep safe. If you’re willing to hide people from ICE or the police, source ‘illegal’ HRT and other essential medication, lose or falsify records, help someone get reproductive care, spread forbidden ideas, graffiti or poster government buildings, hold sit-ins, occupations or encampments, key certain people’s cars, let people in or out at borders who you aren’t ‘supposed’ to, sabotage fossil fuel or military infrastructure, disrupt party conventions, withhold tax, film or take photos in places where it’s banned, conscientiously object should a draft come in, or other similar behaviours, do them quietly and carefully. Involve as few other people as possible and DO NOT in the coming days broadcast your willingness to do so. Also for legal reasons I’m joking 😉
-Pick a behaviour from the government which, if enacted, would result in you immediately leaving the country. Once they do this, get OUT. Don’t make it too small, but don’t wait until they’re rounding up journalists in the street, holding public executions or imposing military curfews either. (I’m not saying any of these things will happen, I’m just saying pick your line.) If you’re trans, this event might have already happened, in which case start the process of seeking work or asylum abroad. Do your due diligence - make sure the place you choose will be safe for people like you, and bear in mind that asylum seeking is a big step that will expose you to dehumanising bureaucracies and local hostility even in the most liberal countries
-Put together a go-bag
-Donate any money you can spare either to these advocacy groups or to people in need directly
-Be radically, aggressively kind and compassionate to everyone you meet
-If you have children or are responsible for them, talk to them about what is happening. Strike a balance between explaining to them that it’s important to stay true to our principles and making sure they know to be careful
-Take time to be with loved ones and experience moments of joy, whether this is group meals, days out, shared catharsis, birthdays, religious celebrations, making music, movie nights, whatever replenishes you and reminds you what the fight is for
-Pick an hour each day in which to engage with and respond to the news (broadcast channels, papers, social media). The rest of the time focus on your well-being, that of your family, friends and neighbours, on your job, on being kind, on your volunteering, on resisting in countless tiny ways. Unless something big and emergent is happening in which case respond and react in real time
-Seek out good news stories from your own country and the world. They are out there, I promise
-If you see an arrest or immigration raid, get your phone out and start filming. You have a right to record it
-Donate to bail and strike funds
-Spend time in nature, and learn the names of local trees, flowers, birds, mammals, fish and reptiles. Educate yourself about the natural history and ecology of your local area so you can replenish your mental health, defend your environment and remember that there is life beyond the fascist state’s delusions of total control
-Learn about and engage with your local indigenous tribes. Study their history, attend any events they put on that are open to the settler public, donate money and any supplies they might need, agitate for their rights, see if you have any land you could transfer to their stewardship, and learn some of their languages if they think that’s appropriate
-Make an effort to research and understand things that are happening abroad. The US empire thrives on isolationism, ignorance and poor education. Learn foreign languages, follow other countries’ politics, study their history, watch their films, expose yourself to their cultures and teach yourself to point them out on a map. The more you feel affinity with people across the globe, the more you are a citizen of the world and able to keep your heart safe from narratives of exceptionalism - because you’d best believe the propaganda will be targeting you too. You’re not immune to it. You have to work at resisting. Foreign news services can also help you keep a handle on what’s real if your national ones are lying to you
-Run for school board, union rep, a welfare or campaigning role on your college campus or in your place of worship, or some other small-scale local post where you can make a difference
-If you’re in a position to do so, see if you can help marginalised people receive cheaper services through your job, volunteering or advocacy (for instance offering discounted rates if you run your own business)
-Learn first aid, cooking, and basic clothing repair, and teach these skills to others. Use them to help people with relevant needs
-Pick your battles. Sometimes you might have to let smaller things slide in order to make a bigger difference later. Other times, the small things will be the thin end of the wedge and you’ll want or need to take a stand
-Wear a mask and try to keep up to date with your vaccinations
-Be ready to mobilise your community to protect vulnerable people or places from vigilante attacks, especially if there’s a mosque, immigration centre, lgbt venue or abortion clinic in your neighbourhood
-Download the Signal app and Element software. Get a VPN. Turn off ‘learn from this app’ in your phone’s Siri settings for every app. Leave your phone at home if you’re protesting or doing anything else spiky. Put it in the fridge or at the other end of the house if discussing things you don’t want overheard. Assume you are under surveillance most of the time
-Carry narcan
-Get a library card and take out as many books and DVDs there as you can, use the internet there, stay warm there, really make use of the public service. You can even offer to volunteer there if you have time
-See if you can access academic and scientific papers somehow, and make an effort to read at least one over a semi-regular period of time. This will help with the education mentioned above, as well as keeping you in touch with the truths which your government is so eager to suppress. Lots of downloads also helps an academic in their career, which will be very valuable now that so much of their funding has been cut
-Pick up your neighbours’ groceries or prescriptions for them, drop them off at/pick them up from medical appointments, watch their kids, bail them out and cook for them
-Quit twitter. Use BlueSky instead if you want but don’t assume you are unobserved there. Consider quitting Facebook and Instagram too if you can - Supernova offers a vaguely similar user interface to insta if you want to keep up with friends and continue sharing pictures
-It might help your sanity to start keeping a diary or journal, detailing your emotions and experiences and keeping an eyewitness record of your government’s behaviour. If you do this, though, consider keeping it in a secure hiding place or writing it in code. Perhaps send a copy securely to someone outside the country, but only if you can do so safely, and be ready to destroy it if you think you’re in danger from its discovery
-See if you can get involved with or start a movement for community green energy in your local area
-If you have any garden space, try to plant and grow a bit of your own fruit and veg
-Get trained in non-violent direct action and in self-defence
-Save as much money as you can. You never know when you or someone else might need it
-If it’s accessible to you, consider getting a therapist to talk through the difficult experiences and painful emotions that are going to come up in the next few years. But be careful - make sure you trust the professional you use and that your conversations are as private as possible. Even if both of these are the case, be considered as to how you phrase things
-Walk, cycle, or take public transit whenever possible
-Make art! Paint, draw, sing, play instruments, write stories or poetry or lyrics or plays, act, dance, collage, sculpt, whatever frees your heart and keeps it your own
-Donate individually or through orgs to sex workers, domestic violence survivors, Romani and Traveller individuals, and other people at risk of precarious housing and/or income
-Educate yourself about Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Paganism, Indigenous Spiritualities and other non-Christian religions
-Carry a spare scarf to offer to a hijabi whose hijab might be torn off by vigilantes
-Offer court support to friends and neighbours
-While you still can, source and distribute as many binders, packers, breast forms and pairs of tucking underwear as possible
-As much as possible shop with small local independent businesses, and follow consumer boycotts
-Consider eating less meat. Ignoring the environmental and ethical implications of the meat industry, deregulation is likely and this means many food safety standards will be scrapped
-If you can afford it, get an air filter for your house and a water filter for your tap
-See if you can file lawsuits against government bodies or big companies for violating various laws and rights
-Make sure the disabled people in your community can access spaces, services and transit, that they have enough money for necessities and for disability aids, and that there’s an evacuation plan for them in the event of flooding/fires/a tornado/vigilante violence/government violence
Stay safe out there everyone. Look after each other, keep your head high and your heart soft, and survive.

Taiju loved making you cum, he was so good at drawing orgasm after orgasm out of you, he was an expert in the language of your pussy. He knew just where to fuck you to make you cum on command, whether it was with his fingers, tongue or dick. As much as Taiju loved making you cum he loved filling you with his cum even more. He was a man that hated the thought of his seed going to waste, especially now that he had the perfect little cumslut laying underneath him every night begging to be filled to the brim with his thick load.
His cum was precious to both you and him and that meant it had to be poured deep into your womb, fucked deeper with each heavy stroke of his fat dick or shot down your throat. He made sure not one drop went to waste and tonight was no different.
Your pussy was already filled so impossibly full of his thick pearly cum that each stroke of his dick caused more and more to dribble out of your slick folds, mixing in with the white silvery sheen on his shaft from your own arousal.
Thrust. Squelch.
Thrust. Squelch.
Thrust. Squelch.
Taiju’s eyes remained glued to the place where the two of you were connected, watching his cum being pushed in and out of your tight little cunt, the corner of his lips curling into a wolf-like grin as he continued to slam his dick into you ruthlessly. He grabbed your leg, draping it over his hip, fingers digging bruises into the soft skin of your thigh while his other hand played with one of your perked nipples, rolling the sensitive bud in between his thumb and pointer finger as he thrusted over and over again into your sopping wet pussy without mercy.
The new position not only drew out the sweetest moans from your pretty parted lips but also allowed him more access to fuck his cum even deeper than before as and hit that soft spongy spot that had tears streaming down your face, toes curling as another hard orgasm pulsed through your body, coating his already soaked shaft and balls with the creamiest slick he’d ever felt or seen. Goddamn it, it was so hot seeing you cream all over his dick, he could never get tired of watching you literally come undone (on him) for him.
“Fuck, baby.’ he groaned loudly as your warm velvety walls practically sucked his dick, trying to milk him dry again. His pace slowed but only for a few minutes as he rolled his hips gently into yours, long dicking your overstimulated abused cervix with each languid thrust so you could catch a breath and ride out your orgasm. His energy during sex was monstrous. He was ravenous, an apex predator in bed but he knew his little prey would run out of stamina if he didn’t let you recover for a few minutes. He felt you pushing back on his forearms trying to squirm away and he” tsk’d” in disapproval shaking his head, “You know we aren’t finished yet, little one. Don’t you dare pull away from me again.” his dick wasn’t coming out of your pussy. Not like you really had a choice with how tightly your soft walls were clinging to his cock. He couldn’t pull out even if he wanted to.
He knew he wouldn’t last much longer at this rate. You felt too good wrapped snuggly around his tip and shaft, gummy walls massaging him as he slowly thrusted through your pussy.
Once your hazy half lidded eyes traveled up to his golden ones he waited for your cue, a small nod that meant he could continue. You sighed, nodding, giving him the consent he needed and he immediately resumed jackhammering his dick into you with fast deep strokes. His broad hands hold onto the sides of your thigh, guiding you into a new position as he folded your knees to your chest, your feet resting flat on his pecs as he spread his knees wide angling up to thrust into your fluttering pussy.
“You love being stuffed full of my cum like this, huh?” You were so fucking wet and desperate clinging to him like your life depended on it, clawing your nails into his shoulders, chanting his name like a prayer, worshipping him like a God.
Your slutty moans were a prayer that graced his ears and he knew only he could answer them for you. He was your fucking God. Only he could bring you to this blissed out state and he loved watching your tiny body take as much cum as he could give you.
“Y-yes!” You managed to babble out between broken sobs as he hammered away, thick bulbous tip leaking as his dick throbbed inside your overstuffed cum filled pussy. You could feel how hard he was with each slam of his hips into yours, his pace getting sloppy and his breathing was ragged as he pulled you down on his cock to meet his thrusts. You knew Taiju was going to cum soon, shooting even more of his fat load right into your swollen womb. Your arms circled around his neck, pulling him into a deep kiss, swallowing his throaty grunts as he split you open until the coil that had been building brutally snapped, squirting hot liquid down his abs, your inner thighs, dribbling down your ass and onto the sheets beneath you.
“So fucking filthy f’me.” He speak into your lips, almost ready to explode on the spot as soon as you squirted on him.
Without warning Taiju slammed fast one last time, rough and deep plunging his cum swollen tip right past the relaxed entrance to your womb. The muscles of his ass cheeks tightened ,his abs clenched tightly as his soaked and heavy breeding balls grew taut, shooting the last of his thick load into your womb, ropes of white painting every inch of your pussy as his again.
Taiju smirked into the kiss as the last of his cum dribbled out of his tip and down your slick covered thighs, as his lips devoured yours, sucking your bottom lip into his mouth. Moaning as you returned the favor. Pulling his mouth away from yours he propped himself on his elbows, semi hard dick still inside your warm cunt, plugging you up so no more of his cum would spill out.
He admired the beautiful mess he had made, a flicker of pride swirled in his golden eyes, voice low and sultry as he praised you for doing such a good job, “Look at you, taking it all like a good girl.”
