Ad esempio, molti ricercatori apprezzano gli elefanti anche per il loro comportamento divertente.

Una studiosa ha detto:

“Ho visto le imponenti vecchie matriarche guidare e difendere la loro famiglia e le ho viste anche perdere ogni dignità e correre per gioco con la coda arricciata sul dorso e una scintilla di pazzia negli occhi”.

Una allevatrice che ha accudito molti elefanti rimasti orfani per rimetterli poi in libertà, in un’intervista rilasciata alla rivista Getaway ha spiegato: “Gli elefantini che arrivano hanno tutti caratteri diversi, proprio come i bambini. . . . Tendono a competere l’uno con l’altro, si ingelosiscono e se li si rimprovera possono mettere il broncio. . . . Alcuni sono di proposito dispettosi o disubbidienti. Dobbiamo disciplinarli, proprio come si disciplinano i bambini”.

Ma oltre ad essere divertenti, gli elefanti svolgono un ruolo utile in natura, e possono essere preziosi compagni di lavoro.

Per concludere possiamo dire che in ogni forma vivente che conosciamo, grande o piccola che sia, possiamo trovare caratteristiche meravigliose e utilità, e questo ad attestare, ancora e sempre, quanto la creazione sia frutto di una Mente superiore e di un Cuore superlativamente amorevole.

Buon pomeriggio miei Cari,

è un fatto che il Corpo Direttivo della Watch Tower Society sta lentamente ma inesorabilmente cambiando l'immagine dei Testimoni di Geova nel mondo ... sono ormai rare le coppie di proclamatori che intenti a suonare i campanelli nei palazzi, non portano più la "buona notizia" ma vendono studi biblici, e dalla primavera di questo anno niente obbligo di volti sbarbati, malinconiche cravatte abbinate a lisi completi fuori moda e lunghe gonne anni cinquanta.

Ma perchè?

Cosa ha spinto l'austera enneade geovista a rinnovare/innovare quell'immagine secolare così ben impressa nella mente di quel mondo che attende di essere convertito?
