I made this pretty quickly but I’ve been thinking a lot about the sprite similarities specifically in aa4 (I would’ve made more connections but then it would be too big) so I slapped this together with all the sprites I could find (some may be more of a stretch than others) and it’s just made me think. If I shared my thoughts about every one of these this would be a really long post but the ones I think aren’t mentioned enough are the ones between kristoph, miles and phoenix. ive seen people talk about kristoph and apollo’s confident sprites and kristoph vs klavier’s body language and how they have very little in common except for a few things but some similarities i haven’t really seen talked about before are between these three. (miles was not meant to be on here cause I was keeping it to aa4 but I noticed nicks angry sprite looked like his so I had to add it and then it got me thinking, so i made this)

I think it’s interesting to see how phoenix is sort of a mix of both miles’ and kristoph’s influences on him. miles and kristophs similarities I’ll save for another post (I also have to involve dahlia for the parallels between phoenix’s ���love interests) but yeah especially looking at their smiling sprites at the bottom you can see their similarities and differences. kristoph has a very “angelic” but fake looking smile that is always as fake as it seems, phoenix has a laughing face that is sometimes used sincerely but often is hiding something or laughing at something apollo doesn’t find funny, and miles has a shy smile that isn’t used very often but is pretty much always very sincere. i think it’s neat to see how phoenix’s sprites reflect the people closest to him, the good and the bad, and then how his sprites carry over to trucy and others. you’re free to make your own interpretations about all of these but I thought they were cool and thought I’d share. if anyone has more of these feel free to add on :)

(LIGHT SPOILERS) basically, he has a test that he needs to take in order to advance as a witch, and he keeps failing it because he cant perform properly while being watched by other people, even though he knows the "right" spells to use and why he's supposed to use them. on his third attempt of the test, he's prepared a "script" to use so that he can follow it and not worry about failing in the moment (in this case, his script is a hand-written book of the proper spells to use and the order in which he's supposed to use them), but when a part of the exam changes, he's no longer able to follow his script. because he's been taught all his life that there's only one proper way of doing things, his way of thinking is very rigid and he's not able to deviate from his plan without panicking. luckily, one of his fellow examinees (richeh from the autistic anime girls poll 💕) is able to convince him to try and change the way that he does things to something that is more attuned to his personal needs- basically change the way that he casts his spells and which spells to use so that he doesn't need to struggle with doing things in the way that everyone says that he should; the way that he cant seem to manage. but, even before richeh helped him with that though, he was still finding way to modify the "proper" spells a little bit to better suit his weaknesses. he was trying so hard to fit in to the mold that witch society gave him, but it just wasnt right for him and he was making it work however he could."

Plus he’s a little TOO normal, to the point where it circles back around to making him the odd one out, which is absolutely what masking feels like for me. Even when he tries to be fun and weird he gets strange looks/made fun of for not being weird in the right way. The list of autism symptoms is just a checklist for him at this point."

I am disabled use a wheelchair for mobility since birth. I am now 57. I am also part of the LGBTQIIA community. I am also a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio. I had a workshop this morning that informed me that as a mental health professional, and our fucked up governor. I must report a minor who tells me that they are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning or intersexed  or I will lose my license as a social worker. If I would’ve known this even two weeks prior from today, I would not have even thought about renewing my license, but I’ve already done it because it was due today November 17,2024. I hate that professionally I have to give up working with the community. I love because I will not turn anyone that is part of our community so the parents can just throw them out and make them homeless ! I am completely disgusted, I refuse to cause harm to any human being, even if I don’t like you, which doesn’t happen often, I wouldn’t want harm to come your way, but this law that is on our governors desk will do exactly that! I am so angry and disgusted! If anyone has constructive ideas on how this huge negative can become a positive I am open because I just can’t see it myself but any and all constructively positive ideas are welcome here

Would the Muppets try and mobilize, contact the Justice League or try to talk with Batman when they hear either Brucie or one of his kids got kidnapped? Like, they just crash in trying to help and all those in the know refuse to let Bruce live it down?

I feel like the Justice League are actively trying to capture the Muppets because they’re just another chaotic unknown. They never know what they’re going to find if they show up if the Muppets get there first. There’s too many variables.
