Note: This photomod allows me to select meshes of objects, which means I can see the file names of said object. This way I can view other mutated crewmates ingame, without dealing with broken textures inside fmodel. So it should be easier for me to sort new screenshots and all
Tumblr media
I was once confused why Roper at the start of the game had his "Roper" helmet. And in the late game he had the Cambell helmet
Tumblr media
Apparently the default model has the Cambell helmet, and for some reason, the model from the start of the game has the Roper helmet and is called "Metahuman_Generic_Male" but the clone is suddenly called "Metahuman_Roper"
Tumblr media
I looked in the fmodel server earlier today, just to check if anyone had another mappings file for swtd. No one did, but I saw a random post in regards to hair and json files of another game's character. Please don't tell me I need to use the json files in blender to fix the hair...
I'm only now beginning to understand how to read the json files properly and see how everything is linked together.
But dang, I want to fix his hair and eyes so badly, same with mouth. The textures display incorrectly last time I tried
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also I need to figure out a way to learn how to draw humans better, same goes with animals, they are two major weakpoints for me. AU should help me mess around with poses and scenery too. I need to see how I can incorrperate learning fundamentals while doing paintings or sketches.
Gathering references is my first struggle, do I pick them from my favourite games, or go outside and take pictures at the park and twist that around. Definetely need to sort my reference images a tad bit more. Stuff is messy in my files again.
And I need to remember to bring my sketchbook with me every day to continue practising traditionally, it helps with my digital sketches. I start to freak out and think art is too hard, but I can clearly see I can sketch without issues, I just have to learn fundamentals and practise the things I find important for my art. Clothing, enviroments, humans, animals, buses and other jazz

I'm not dead!
Hey look here's a redraw of the really terrible bit of digital art I did for last year's Mar13 day as proof! Apparently I didn't even finish the first one on time! Yikes!
Tumblr media
I'm well aware that it's been a minute or two since I last posted anything on here or on AO3 - to be more precise, it's been since Splatoon 1 died and I wrote that 8000 word depressing thing - I don't know why 8000 words always seems to be my sweet spot, but it's good to know that I have one. That being said, and with Side Order: Dark Side Mix currently MIA, I thought it'd be a good idea to to have what it is that I'm doing right now on-record in some capacity, for the one or two people who were wondering.
The next few weeks are exam season, so I don't think it's going to be smooth sailing per se, but Dark Side Mix will be completed. After running into a snag with the opening act - namely with the fact that it sucks - I started reworking the entire fic from top to bottom under a new name...and then I lost motivation to do that because perfectionism set in, and I haven't really touched it in a little while.
In the time that I've been away from it, I feel like I've become increasingly aware of how that perfectionism negatively effects me and my work - namely the fact that very little of it actually exists. I mean, sure, people seem to like the stuff that does exist, but there isn't much, and a lot of things are unfinished - usually because I placed too much value on the potential of "the idea", and spent so long labouring over the start of it that by the 10,000 word mark I had realised the flaws of the idea and lost interest in it.
I can't help thinking that's a bit lame. Every other writer has 100s and thousands of words of terrible amateur works they can go back to and laugh at, before they created the masterpieces they're known for now, and my story is that I just kinda show up every once in a while.
I think there's a real beauty to that - creating for the sake of creation, with no fucks given. Maybe this isn't the finest example, but I finally started listening to My Dad Wrote a Porno recently and...I mean... the sheer lack of fucks given is well and truly a gift that keeps on giving. Same goes for Philosophy of the World. Or SMG4 back in like 2014. Or old Eddsworld stuff. There's just a certain carefree joy (or existential dread in the case of the Shaggs) to it all that you never get anywhere else. It's like the difference between a 30 second gesture drawing and 6 hours of carefully-deliberated-over anatomy.
All that is to say - Dark Side Mix is a fundamentally flawed story. It is not high art, it never will be. I should probably just get it out there in it's entirety for the world to see in the time I have available to write, and then move on to the next "brilliant-idea"-that's-actually-just-ok. Nobody likes an "idea guy" - what good is it to spend one's entire life going around saying "I never finished this story, but it was great in my head, and the bit that you can actually read was alright too,"? Creativity should be about getting in there, making a mess, and having fun - let fanfiction be fanfiction, with that being addressed to nobody but myself, because nobody else needed to hear it.
Oh, also, another reason for my absence besides creative block and exams - I'm getting into comics! That, and practising my art fundamentals a whole bunch - I don't think my drawabox is particularly interesting to look at, so I haven't exactly been posting it. I've decided that I want to try giving an idea I had for what would've been another depressing Squid Sister 8000-worder the comic treatment, although you shouldn't expect to see that anytime soon, considering how long it's gonna take, and the fact that I would want to release something like that in no more than two parts.

14/02/2024 || Day 12 (dop)
TLDR:
🔸 practised ASL fingerselling
🔸 went to ASL class
🔸 worked on button functionality for Frontend Mentor project
🔸 started planning new illustration
🔸 read current book
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Turns out that when I pick up extra shifts at work, I don't do anything productive when I get home -- including program. I feel like I haven't done any consistent programming since November, tbh. Hopefully I can find it in me to get back on it, but I'm definitely feeling the programming burnout.
Work
ASL class - I just want to say that today we learned about conjunctions after it was introduced to us 2 weeks ago, and dear lord will I need to sit down and practice it a bunch. I'm excited though!
Frontend Mentor - I decided that I want to wrap this project up ASAP, so of course I did only the minimum today. I got the button functionality all working, where they'll appear and disappear at appropriate times. The next thing that I'll do tmr will be to dynamically fill out the information required in the Summary step, which is depending on the user's selections throughout the form.
Art
Much like with programming, I've been putting off sketching, but this time only for the past 2 weeks. I swear, I was at a sketching high in January, where I filled a page almost every day. Especially at the end of January, because I had finished re-playing The Last of Us Part 2 and was a sketching machine filled with inspiration. But then it disappeared once I made a finished digital illustration of one of my fanart ideas. So, to combat the stagnation I feel, I did the unspeakable and picked up a pen and went in directly without pencil lines. Apparently I can't go 2 months without using pen, despite swearing it off since I used it for nearly 4 years straight. And what do you know? I had fun sketching today. I gotta say though, the best thing about drawing in pen is that the sketches really pop out of the page because they're so bold.
Also, I spent last night looking for some graphic novels I might be interested in, but a lot of ones aimed at adults have art styles and don't really vibe with me, so I started looking at kids' graphic novels and found one whose style I fell in love with! I know nothing about the plot, but I'm really hoping that the art itself can inspire me! Plus, it's a nice little Valentine's Day present to myself.

Characters from project.dgkotr
So as you (maybe) know, I've been working on this wip for over a year now. So I've been thinking of introducing my characters, this will be updated from times to times if there's a new character or if I just find something interesting about an already existing one.
This is mostly based on their 'volume 1 versions' so most things happening in volume 2 or 3 won't be written here.
If you want informations about any of the characters, check on my blog and look for # with the corresponding emoji (exemple : #🦩). If you still can't find what you want, leave an ask or a comment and I'll try to answer as best as I can !
MCs :
🖌️ - Noe / 21-22 (start-finish) / Gay / He-Him
Noe is one of the mcs. His dad disappeared for (not so) unknown reasons when he was 5 so he doesn't actually know him that much. He studies art in an art school where he met Adam and Devyn. You guessed it, he likes to draw and he also used to play trumpet but just kinda gave up lessons.
In volume 1, we start with his point of view (or pov).
📷 - Madhi / 22 / Bisexual and Ace / He-Him
Madhi is also a mc. He lives with his parents and his two sisters in the same city as Noe and Danae. He dates Danae, however, there's been some tension between the two and it may not go completely well. He studies journalism and likes to write but it's not really a hobby.
In volume 1, we finish with his point of view (or pov).
🛹 - Danae / 21-22 (start-finish) / Up for interpretation / She-Her
Danae is the third mc. She lives with her parents and her brother, Alec. She doesn't study but it is mentionned once that she works at McDonalds. She spends time skateboarding, roller-skating and she loves trying new ice-cream flavors and drinks (well at least that's what her bf thinks). She's kind of the mom friend. She dates Madhi as told above, she was really happy to be apart of the 'little' investigation, until of course, the discovery of the cult...
She's often called "Dan" for short by her family and Noe, her boyfriend doesn't use that nickname as much.
Deuteragonists :
🦩 - Prescillia / around 18 / Lesbian / She-Her
Prescillia is Madhi's sister, she's the middle child. She wants to become a fashion designer because she loves knitting and she will use her brother as a mannequin for the clothes she made. Her bestie is Sibylle <3.
🎸 - Alec / around 15 / Up for interpretation / He-Him
Alec is Dan's brother. He's in a band with 3 friends, he's the guitarist of that band. They play for little school shows or other small events. He cares a lot about his friends and sister even if doesn't show it much. He's also really close with Martin since they knew eachother for so long and he was really scared Martin wouldn't make it after 'the incident'.
🍭 - Devyn / 22 / Up for interpretation / She-Her
Appearance
Devyn is the silly person "every" friend group has. She also studies art, digital art to be more precise. Even tho she seems really innocent, there are some secrets about her. She never knew her mother, her dad told her that she went to prison and Devyn just believed it. She loves wearing really colorful accessories around her neck, in her hair or attached to her clothes, kind of decora aesthetic.
She does not make a physical appearance in volume 1 but is mentionned.
🦆 - Adam / 22 / Aroace / He-Him
Appearance
Adam is another less important mc. Like Noe and Devyn, he studies art, he loves to practise human anatomy and would have probably study sciences if he wasn't so bad at it. When he meets Prescillia, he agrees to be used as a mannequin instead of her brother, making all of them happy. Also, a lot of people thinks he dates Devyn which makes him laugh everytime someone mentions it because they obviously don't.
He does not make a physical appearance in volume 1 but is mentionned.
Side characters :
🧁 - Leslie / 10 / She-Her
Leslie is Prescillia and Madhi's little sister, she's the youngest child and she's so fucking cute.
📚 - Sibylle / around 18 / Up for interpretation / She-Her
Sibylle is a smart girl, she's stated as Prescillia's best friend.
🎤 - Oriane / around 15 / Up for interpretation / She-Her
Oriane is the singer in the same band as Alec. She's in a relationship with another member of the band. She has red and black hair. She also knows how to play guitar.
🍕 - Martin / around 15 / Up for interpretation / He-Him
Martin is the leader of the band where Alec and Oriane are in. He always has a smile on his face and is really good at helping people. He plays bass probably (I'm not an expert in music sorry) His best-friend is Alec.
🔮 - Honorine / around 18 / Up for interpretation / She-Her
Honorine is a member of the cult, she will appear hopefully in every book I write for this wip idea. Don't mess with her because even if she doesn't approve totally what the cult does, she can still kill you. She's very attached to her notebook. (She's more than a side character but doesn't really fit in the deuteragonists)
🎨 - Beatrice / 22 / Up for interpretation / She-Her
Beatrice is Noe's classmate at art school, at the beginning she dates his ex actually. She's quite mean but don't worry, that'll get better, hopefully. She mostly dresses in yellow and brown and she loves 60/70's clothing style.
🏚️ - Fronsant-sur-Breuil / Every character living in this village
This will represent the people leaving at Fronsant like Tristan, Cassie, Henry or even the Mayor. Since they're not as important as other characters and that there are a lot of them, I'm putting them all together.
Pets :
☁️ - Cloud / cat / female
Cloud is Dan and Alec's cat. She is grey/white and she looks like a cloud.
🦎 - Dino / dog / male
Dino was Noe's dog but he died when Noe was around 13. He was a barbet.

1. Art programs you have but don't use
Adobe stuff, although I use Lightroom + photoshop for photography sometimes
ibis paint, I used to use this all the time but don’t much anymore since moving to doing art on my laptop
2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)
I can do Anything but side profiles. Side profiles are the worst
3. What ideas come from when you were little
I’ve always loved drawing eyes. And little creatures sometimes
there’s not many character ideas that have carried through from what I’ve made when I was little but I’ve always considered reimagining some of my shitty old FNAF ocs I made when I was 12
4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw
Monsters/any inhuman designs. It’s just something I need more practise with
5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself
Literally only like 2% of it gets posted. Maybe even less. Mostly because I hardly ever finish stuff
6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously (i.e. this horse wasn't supposed to look like the Last Unicorn but I see it)
Huh… it’s hard to pick anything specifically. I feel like a lot of little tidbits come from everywhere, whether it’s media or art by others
7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate
Sculpture of most kinds. It’s something I’ve wanted to try getting into but I never have. There’s so much sculpture that’s just so impressive to me though
8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in
Once I started drawing two of my ocs in barbenheimer style outfits but now the time has kinda passed and I don’t feel like finishing it
9. What are your file name conventions
Keysmashing, a swear word of some kind, a phrase making fun of the character in the art, or just.. the characters name. Usually with a keysmash after it
10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw
Button up shirts are fun to draw! A lot of collars are fun, whether that’s on shirts or coats or whatever
11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what
Video essays or music usually
12. Easiest part of body to draw
Uhhh…… the face shape? I also don’t struggle TOO much with hands but that might just be because of how much I enjoy drawing them
13. A creator who you admire but whose work isn't your thing
I don’t know if this counts as she’s not really like… a CURRENT creator. But Frida Kahlo
14. Any favorite motifs
I don’t know. I like most things. Not much of my art has anything particularily recurring. Like not even my ART STYLE is consistent.
15. *Where* do you draw (don't drop your ip address this just means do you doodle at a park or smth)
In my room
16. Something you are good at but don't really have fun doing
I don’t know.. lineart???
17. Do you eat/drink when drawing? if so, what
Sometimes potato crisps
18. An estimate of how much art supplies you've broken
I haven’t broken anything I’ve used for digital art, as for traditional art supplies… I don’t want to know
19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)
I have no idea I don’t draw inanimate objects much.. I like drawing glasses
20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy
Hands. Don’t get me wrong they are hard to draw but I like it
21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways
Most painters. There are so many I find really admirable and visually interesting but my style hardly resembles paintings. I’m sure that’s something I could try in the future though
22. What physical exercises do you do before drawing, if any
None… maybe I should
23. Do you use different layer modes
Sometimes, if it works. But it’s not something I consistently rely on
24. Do your references include stock images
yeah probably. I get them all from Pinterest
25. Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by
I genuinely can’t think of anything that applies to this. I haven’t had too many comparisions
26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended
There’s also not anything I can think of for this either
27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with
Yeah…. Not really
28. Any art events you have participated in the past (like zines)
does art fight count? I’ve done that for 3 years now
29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically
Hades, the 2020 game. I LOVE the story, dialogue, and characters, but I’m not a big fan of the art style and outright dislike a few of the designs
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated
All of them 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Weirdly Specific Artist Ask Game
Didn't see a lot of artist ask games, wanted to make a silly one.
(I wrote this while sick out of my mind last year and it's been collecting dust in my drafts, I might as well let it run free) 1. Art programs you have but don't use
2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)
3. What ideas come from when you were little
4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw

Frederick Heyman Internvetion
Research :
Intervention plan:
Talking points:
-Desire to explore human + Digital connection
-Digitising the body, what does that do?
-Reconciling the fractal self via digital representation - seeing is beliveing - Fugivity within digital representation
-Digital ecologies, does this fit with concepts of their practise
Frederik Heyman Research :
“I love to create digital installations that overcome time and space, that aren't limited by the physical world. Technology and the human body are the main protagonists.”
“desire for technology to mirror and/or overcome the human body (or the other way around?)”
I don't really feel like I’m a 3D designer. I like that it's a very photorealistic medium.
They embalm the people in one ultimate moment and I just thought that was really beautiful. The scene is curated by your family; they say ‘we want them to be there for a week’ and you can pay your last respects to them. It is a frozen moment of a person’s life and for me, it was like a metaphor of an image, of a photo you take
, a service to them.
Because one needs time to experience three dimensions, a 3D scan is a bearer of duration. This duration is a narrative element which is amplified by mechanically induced movement in its environment and contrasting animation, all but Arca’s body.
I’m asking for recognition that we have multiple selves without denying that there’s a singular unit,[…] [It’s] the difference between the pronoun use of ‘they’ and ‘it.’ It’s that I want to have my cake and eat it, too. I want to be seen as an ecosystem of minor self-states without being stripped of the dignity of being a whole. (source) Nonbinary in gender, nonbinary in ontology: the self is not just this or that. It’s a thriving ecosystem, an uncontrollable stream of overlapping and competing perspectives, experiences, desires. “Nonbinary is about and as opposed to or,” she told us below. - Arca
I always say they (my images) are part of a speculative present. I don't feel the need to illustrate a future vision. It’s what surrounds us now, rearranged in an alternative reality and questioned through a dialogue with technology.
“desire to overcome humanity”
an exploration of the human body under the influence of, and in interaction with, technology. interested in the trans-human approach of how life and memories are preserved, and henceforth pursued.
The human body and the technology we have in today’s society are growing inevitably towards each other.
Quotes :
Digital Selfhood
“The digital facilities humanness [by opening] up more options for me in how you can experience the body”
“You have to render every frame… which gives you a point of curation”
“Working in CG gives you the possibilities to enhance the body, to change everything”
“I mean, define Human? I think human is a funny word”
“Any pop artist that we know is never the person sitting at home… so I think that more selling a dream, a projection”
“Curating their own lives online and maybe dealing with the same questions but on a smaller scale”
“Stage persona”
Artistic practise
“I see myself as a curator, more like a portrait painter almost who tries to capture the moment {as well as} whats makes a person a person. Your desires and intentions {with}in some ind of space
“How natural it felt coming from photography going into 3D scanning, for me its the same captive moment”
“A speculative present”
“Get over humanity or try to achieve something bigger with [their] bodies
“Its more like a projection of that person, not a physical portrait as you would do with the camera, but almost like a holographic version of someone”
New work “ A performer, captured her on green key and did all these extensive sets”
“Theres a desire to bring so much more humanity to these digital spaces
“What am I inscribing, reinscribing or rejecting”
Limitations of digitally
“Everybody can create an avatar on your iPhone”
“I feel I’m a bit… dystopian, and belive there is going to be some kind of setback”
“I get a question mark from Meta asking if my work has been made by AI”
“I miss that aspect of humanity”
“I do feel like this whole thing became too much of an aesthetic these day”
Calum Quotes
“Freeze, engage and curate, heightening the present by using our beliefs of what the future may be”
“How much can we say that your visions of anyone in your work isn’t a true representation of you or then, just because it didn’t physically happen” - like the ship, when does it become a new ship
“We need o build new farms of reference to start to see, validate and culture new projections of ourselves that we haven’t ever been able to deal with before.”
“We have pushed the still singular image as a vehicle for selfhood so far”
Your work “ feels so alive and suggestive of other ways of being and other kinds of selfhood... but you to create… and build these works its lonely”
“You almost got trapped between… [your work] went further than the the still image but you could quote get it to be alive”
“it's not that being fully digital is important or fully physical. It's actually just not drawing these such strict lines between where human exploration and selfhood can happen, because it's so it ends up re prescribing old forms of oppression. The technology that you've been using for so long can allow and validate so many new forms of self that capitalist, Imperial systems just kill. But at the moment, we're re entering and re inscribing these same systems online. And that's what I always felt about your work whether it's dystopian or utopian,  there was always this the suggestion of a new  forms of beauty, form of technology, not just imperative culture.”
“Queer practitioners, people whose lives, identities or practices stand against normative values, normative beauty standards, racism, sexism, classism, all imperialist, oppressive capitalism. they exist fugitively to those system on digital networks. for example, Hannah and Stephen from fecal matter use the internet to iterate and explore their identity in a fugitive way, they'll produce images of themselves, either in 3d or photoshopped, where they'll be transhuman, or all these kind of very out there looking things. how that creates an identity and a selfhood that is physically impossible online in the real world. and how do those two selves interact?”
“All of these people have experiences where the algorithm starts showing their work to people who will report it, who hate it, who believe demonic the devil. algorithmic oppression is replicating the oppression in the physical world online, exactly controlling what people do and don't see, in the same way that race, gender and class control what you see in culture, the algorithm is doing that online. This is creating violence like, physical and non physical and threats of violence.”
“ Your work suggests other ways that our networked beings can start to engage the opens horizons of possible selfhood that we can then start to aim towards and understand ourselves as. Who has the access to make images of themselves, to benefit the system and to show themselves in a different form? That's what images, that is what icons are.Suddenly we have the ability where so many more people can access it and that language” “Imagery and selfhood”

Info from Ishida Osushi 6/14 – 8/13 streams
This is the highlight of the stuffs Ishida Sui talked about in his streams from June to August. Sorry for any grammatical errors.
- Ishida doesn’t have any bias towards his own characters. Just because he draws some characters more than others doesn’t mean he favours them more.
- He wants to be called Maestro Osushi.
- The first 24 chapters of Choujin X is just the first chapter of the story. A prologue.
- He wants to turn Tonari Young Jump into Tonari Oyaji (old men) Jump.
- His hand never feels sore even when drawing for a long time, since he doesn’t put much strength in his strokes.
- When asked for tips on how make drawings look cool. Ishida mentioned that it could depend on the angle, pose, and composition of the characters. Determine a spot that’d make your characters look amazing.
- Ishida doesn’t like giving tips to people. He believes it’s something people must discover on their own. What is applicable to him might not be applicable to others.
- He believes you should both study and practise art. If you keep practising without any knowledge, your drawings are not gonna become better. You must have comprehension of why things are drawn the way they are (eg. Why this part of body is drawn curvy).
- He’s a bit sceptical on the technique of imitating illustrators’ art style. He thinks drawing different kind of artworks is more effective than imitating the same illustration hundreds of times.
- Ishida totally prefers digital drawing than analogue. It’s convenient and definitely helped him draw effectively. To him, digital drawing is something that God has bestowed upon him.
- He was given allowance by Young Jump to buy drawing devices when he was just starting out.
- He prefers drawing short hair, since it’s easier.
- He wouldn’t show or tell people what brush he uses because he doesn’t want people to steal his techniques.
- He talked about Elon Musk Open-Source Movement in which he allows people to use Tesla technology for the sake of industrial & humankind development.
- Ishida stated he’s not interested in aiding on the development of art industry or whatever. Whatever techniques he discovers should remain his only.
- He gets his reference from various sources, such as illustrations or sketches of others. He also uses ballerina for pose reference.
- He bought a book titled Charles Bargue: Drawing course, which compiled various pencil sketches.
- If he could draw his best when streaming, he’d stream continuously.
- He recommended Morpho: Anatomy for Artists books. He bought all the books from the series.
- He suggests analysing drawings and follows the techniques used in the drawings, rather than blindly copying someone’s art style.
- Ishida once acted as a tree house in a play when he was a kid.
- He once wore a lame orange shirt on a date when he was a high schooler, and he was told to take it off (lol). Not sure if this was just a joke or true.
- Ishida Sui felt honoured when Horikoshi Sensei mentioned him.
- He praised My Hero Academia and complimented the fact that Horikoshi Sensei seemed to be having fun writing the manga. He wished him all the best.
- Ishida Sui and Ishida Osushi had a conflict, with Ishida Sui hindering Ishida Osushi’s desire to do Animal Rap.
- Ishida almost got scammed by a foreign lady in insta. But because the lady was sexy, it made him want to be scammed.
- He wants to go to Togashi Sensei’s exhibition.
- His favourite BNHA characters include, Shigaraki, Deku, Ochaco, Toga, Twice, and Tsuyu.
- His bias in Aespa is Winters. He said everyone’s pretty, but Winters had a unique face.
- He wants to talk about political stuffs with Horikoshi Sensei. He also wants to converse about their pasts and lives before being mangaka and be a support to each other.
- His older sister, Towada Shin, is the biggest Animal Rap fan. She kept asking Ishida Sensei for more AniRap content.
- He had once lived in Saga prefecture, located in northwest of Kyushu.
- Ishida Sui has three personalities: Ishida Sui, Ishida Osushi, and Grey (the mediator between the other two personalities)
- He doesn’t really do food illustrations.
- Goubaru was a bit depressed, so Ishida wished for him to go for counselling. He didn’t want Goubaru to suffer alone nor did he want Goubaru to involve him.
- He’s completed Elden Ring.
- Ishida Sensei was furious with Goubaru. Even so, he still wanted him to get better.
- Kunimitsu was watching him drawing Spaghetti Gratin (SpaGra) when he did the stream.
- While he prefers digital drawing, he thinks digital drawing is tiring since it feels like he’s working.
- He wants to try drawing another JJ one shot using analog, but digital is faster.
- He drew some TG chapters with analog. But because of various reasons, he switched back to digital.
- His eyes don’t really get tired looking at the screen all day.
- Ishida changed his chair to tatami chair. He also changed his table to a lower height. Sitting on a chair makes him feel like working, so he hates it.
- He once tried working while standing and he got dizzy.
- Kunimitsu once ordered food delivery. However, the delivery guy mistakenly sent it to the apartment next to his. In the end, the guy living there ate his food for free.
- Ishida also once ordered food delivery. The app stated that his food had been delivered, but he didn’t receive it. So, he searched his entire apartment building for the food, only to find the food on the floor below his.
- Ishida sensei had a chat with Horikoshi sensei. He called him an eccentric person. When he replied to whatever Horikoshi sensei was saying, the conversation ended there. Horikoshi sensei wouldn’t talk a lot. Ishida tried to expand the conversation but failed.
- Ishida never went to his high school reunion parties. But when he felt like going, he caught a cold.
- He thinks fellow Mangakas can’t be friends with each other.
- Towada shin was busy writing at the time of the stream, so he felt really lonely because he didn’t have anyone to talk with.
- He was kinda afraid of the fact that his life only revolved around drawing manga. He felt empty after he finished a chapter cus he didn’t know what to do next. So, he started drawing another chp again.
- He once had a crush on a girl living in his neighbourhood.
- He recently visited his hometown, and he was reminiscing about the girl.
- His crush used to be his classmate during middle school, so she sometimes greeted him. But he couldn’t reply anything back.
- He passed through his crush’s house but it’s already different than it used to be before.
- He got along with the girl, but nothing happened.
- He couldn’t hold his feelings for his crush, so he wrote a letter to her after they graduated. Fortunately, she replied to his letter.
- He got her contact number, but unfortunately, they lost contact because his phone broke.
- Ishida Sensei said Kunimitsu’s sister was pretty. They didn’t look similar.
- Not sure whether he’s joking or not, but Ishida sensei seems to have a fear of death. He’s too suspicious of other people that he thinks he’d get killed if he goes outside.
- He told his Shariboys to not get along with each other.
- He wished everyone in this world to remain single and live alone by themselves.
- He even asked Kunimitsu if that’s some sort of illness. Kunimitsu then suggested for them to live together for a short time, which he refused.
- He considers his sister as his friend.
- Horikoshi sensei didn’t follow him on twitter, but he wanted him to.
- Ishida wished for everyone to get along, but because it’s impossible, it’s better for everyone not to be friend with each other in the first place. (He’s got a typical villain mindset, lol.)
- Ishida sensei really loves girl talks (eg. Talk about love).
- He feels more comfortable talking with people who have feminine vibes.
- He likes to listen to Kunimitsu’s love life.
- Kunimitsu suggested him to create a channel where he gives advice to his fans’ love problems or write a romance manga.
- Kunimitsu believed Ishida to be a romantist, but he said he’s a nihilist.
- He wants to try being a Host in a club.
- His younger brother played the route that he wrote in JJ and told him it was romantic.

Art Advice #3 - Drawing tips!
Hi everyone!
As you may know, every week or so I’m writing blog posts with art advice hints and tips for artists of any skill level in the hopes of helping some people out a bit! The tag is here so feel free to check out some of my other posts!
This week’s post is going to be some drawing tips I’ve picked up over the years that could hopefully be useful for beginner artists!
(this is about 1800 words altogether btw)
Drawings tips!
I’m going to split this post up into little sections which will hopefully make it easier for you to scroll to find certain advice you’re particularly interested in!
Part 1 - How to get started?
I’m a firm believer that anyone can be an artist, regardless of what materials or equipment they have. So when it comes to my advice on what kind of materials I recommend for beginner artists, I’d mainly say ‘whatever you have’.
But if that’s a bit vague, I’d essentially recommend you have a set of pencils which you can usually get relatively inexpensive online or in craft/art shops which range from 6B all the way to 6H (’B’ being for softer, darker pencils, often good for shading, and ‘H’ for the harder pencil leads which are best for much lighter shading or if you want a really faint sketch. Something important to note about ‘H’ pencils is not to press too hard with them since they’re a lot more likely to leave indents in the paper than ‘B’ pencils! For general sketching I personally use 2B or 3B pencils since they have the perfect balance of soft & hardness in my opinion!)
Of course, you can just draw with whatever pens or pencils you already have, so definitely don’t feel you have to go out of your way to buy something new or expensive just because your favourite artists use a particular brand of pencil or pen... Of course, often higher quality pens or pencils (especially colouring pencils) will have better pigment payoff than the cheaper alternatives, but as someone who’s been using the same WHSmith pencils they got when they were a child, I definitely think that as long as you have something to draw with, you’re all set to produce masterpieces of your own!
A lot of my art education got us using charcoal for a lot of our drawing practise. It’s not a medium I’m particularly fond of personally, but it is a great way to practise being a lot quicker and expressive with drawing, so definitely if you’re up for the challenge you can try some charcoal stuff! Only piece of advice is that I wouldn’t really recommend those ‘charcoal pencils’ you can buy in some shops, since they mostly just break apart every time you try and sharpen them... Regular charcoal is messy, though, and smudges very easily, so if you are interested in using it I’d say to do a little bit of research before hand!
(Or feel free to send me an ask if you want any further advice on using it!)
If you’re wanting to get into digital art, I’m planning on making a post discussing my tips for beginners to digital so... keep an eye out for that in the near future lol!
~
Part 2 - Getting over ‘Drawing Anxiety’
Drawing can be a daunting thing, particularly when artists who are already pretty good at it can seemingly produce a perfectly proportioned face out of thin air. But these artists weren’t magically born with this skill, of course, so with practise and some perseverance, I can assure you that you’ll be at that stage one day!
So my first piece of advice here is to be patient with yourself. Don’t expect yourself to be perfect straight away.
Second piece of advice is to sketch constantly!! I notice a lot of people who haven’t been drawing long are really careful about how they draw, almost like they’re afraid to be rough with the pencil. So I’d really recommend just starting to sketch a lot: be rough, be messy, draw things you can see and things from your imagination!
Observational drawing is another thing I think is crucial in improving your drawing skills (and I’ll go into more detail with this in a bit), but honestly just sketching things you like is such a great way to help you grow as an artist! And yes this includes drawing anime fanart or drawings of your original characters!
Below is some comparisons of my attempts at drawing Freema Agyeman from 2013 to 2019... Is the latest version of this perfect? Of course not. But I just want to show what constant practise can achieve!

Part 3 - Observational drawing
I honestly think that observational drawing was one of the most important things I learnt in my years of art education.
Observational drawing can take on many meanings. Perhaps it’s drawing a still life of a fruit bowl, or a life drawing class with a naked dude in front of you, or even drawing from a photo. The point of observational drawing is to improve how you translate the world around you onto a 2D surface, essentially.
And you don’t need anything fancy to do observational drawing either! Just placing an array of things in front of you and trying to sketch them (try and focus on a mix of textures and surfaces for the objects. So, for example, including a cup along side a woolly hat will help you get a handle on how to create texture with your drawing, and drawing anything with a reflective surface like cutlery is both challenging and interesting to do! Basically just use what you have around you!)
If you’re lucky (or unlucky, depending on how fond you are of seeing naked people lol) enough to have the chance to do life drawing, I would honestly recommend it! Often the final results aren’t great, but it’s a really good way of practising your observational skills! And even if you don’t have the opportunity, just trying to sketch a friend or family member from across a room, for example, is something that can really help you improve!
Top tip: a teacher once told me that when you’re drawing something like a face, for example, a way to improve how you draw is to see the face not as a ‘face’, but instead as a collections of shapes. Because our brains have a preconceived idea of what a face looks like that we end up drawing what we think we can see rather than what we can actually see!
There’s a lot of art snobs who believe that drawing from reference images is ‘cheating’ in comparison to life drawing, Of course, this is bs, and I’d say I’ve learnt just as much from using reference photos for the basis of my art as I have from drawing from ‘real life’. For more information about my thoughts on references and how to use them, see This post!
~
Part 4 - Drawing from references: Tracing, Grids and Freehand (which is best?)
Tracing in the world of art is a ... Contentious subject to say the least. And I’m not really interested in getting into the ‘moral’ implications of whether it is ‘cheating’ or not.
Instead I want to focus on the pros of using something like tracing when you’re starting out. I think particularly if you’re trying to improve how you shade things, colour things or how to get better at blending, then I do think that tracing can be a useful tool! Even I used tracing in the very start of my delve into digital art, but soon found that tracing wasn’t really something that was helping me in the long run so moved onto freehand stuff.
Overall, I think tracing is good as a starting point when you’re still learning about art, and also if you’re not too comfortable with your freehand drawing skills yet. I’d also recommend you mention if you have traced a piece if you share art to social media. Of course, no one is obligated to do this though!
This is an example of an artwork that I traced (it’s from 2013, hence why it looks... like That lol)
Tumblr media
But if you’re someone who perhaps has used tracing in the past and found it doesn’t really work for you, or if you don’t want to start with tracing at all, then a good ‘next step’ I’ve seen other artists get into is using grids.
Now I have to admit, I’m not the best person to talk about grids since I’ve actually never used them lol... But I know a lot of artists who do, particularly people who do a lot of traditional work, since it makes it a lot easier to translate the reference image to your piece of paper or canvas.
And in a way I would recommend grids more for people starting out in drawing than tracing, and this is mainly due to the fact grids force you to use a lot more observational drawing skills than tracing! If you’re interested in getting into using grids I’d recommend doing a bit of research yourself!
The final technique of drawing from references I want to talk about is freehand! Now this is the one I’ve been doing for the majority of my art ‘career’ and honestly is probably the most ‘difficult’ to do of the three techniques.
But I find freehand drawing particularly rewarding with the ways it can make you reimagine an artwork in ways you never intended! Like what I mentioned in my Reference advice post, I have found that making ‘mistakes’ in freehand drawing can actually lead to more interesting and unique works of art than tracing or grid work could ever do!
I also think that freehand allows you to create your own characters or concepts in a much more free way. For example, my Spirit of Somerset piece was something I created from a variety of references (I seem to remember I used Isak from SKAM’s mouth as a basis for the girls’ mouth?) and the dragon was based on a real mishmash of references, which is something that I I feel I couldn’t have done if I’d have been using grids or tracing!
Tumblr media
With this I’m not trying to say that freehand is the ‘best’ way of drawing, it is just the one that I personally have found to fit me the best, which is the entire point of this post! All of my advice is just pointers I think could be useful for new artists, it is up to you to find which ‘path’ in art suits you best!
And of course, I’ve phrased these techniques as separate purely for the sake of explaining them easier, but the fact of the matter is that you can use a combination of these in your art if you wish!
If you struggle with drawing the outlines of hands, perhaps use tracing as a way to get a handle of the shape and then maybe use freehand to fill in the colour of them! Use a grid to draw a tree but freehand the leaves and bench below it!
Remember that your art is your art, and no one can tell you how to draw things!
~
I think I’ll leave this here for now! But I may do a part two at some point in the future! & my ask box is always open for anyone who wants any specific advice!
I really hope you found this at least moderately helpful, and a massive thank you to everyone for the constant support of these posts and my art!

Hi Taikova! Hope you're doing well. Just wanted to ask what your drawing process boils down to. How do you go about starting a piece or even just a light-hearted sketch. Sometimes I get stuck with over thinking things like the anatomy and poses. Eventually, I lose the overall idea that I had. Any advice?
if you want to, you can look at some sped-up streams on youtube to get an idea of how i sketch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHoRyIsHUg0 i think this video specifically had me doing some (in my opinion) not-so-great drawings so i could get the scenes and poses out of my brain as fast as i could.. but obviously things are slightly different for beginners or people who draw completely differently from me.
i think the most important things you gotta learn to do for putting down ideas quickly is:
1. drawing super loosely and not caring about how it looks AT ALL yet - you can be as rough as you can while still maintaining the idea! sketches are supposed to look rough! and you can do MANY sketch layers, each progressively more detailed. or keep working on the rough sketch once you’re satisfied with the pose.
2. to do the no 1. though, you need to be able to make at least somewhat coherent lines quickly, so at least YOU know what you meant by the rough sketch, right? so to imply a gesture FAST, you can learn this by doing 30 second-2 minute studies once in a while. you will learn to SUGGEST the shape and pose and emotion in there in few strokes or in less time the more you practise. it will become almost muscle memory! doing this will also teach you to do the “don’t care about how it looks yet!!!” -thing. since the time limit forces you to be faster and also care less about quality, focus only on telling what you want to tell with the sketching process-.
learning to do various poses quickly also builds the library inside your head so it becomes easier to visualise the pose you need (because you know what the message, the feeling, the meaning of your pose is and how to create it).
try this for gesture practise (it’s fancy name is croquis so if you wanna google more options, you can use that.) http://www.senshistock.com/sketch/
3. if you draw digitally, try using a small canvas or zoom into it A LOT. it’s so much easier to control the brush tool if the canvas isn’t too high-quality. you can always scale up the rough sketch/resize the canvas once it looks like you want it, because it’s a ROUGH one and you only need it for the pose and the idea, not the line quality! i do this all the time, its such a good way to start sketching!!
i still have a lot of times where i manage to lose the idea before getting it down, so i feel like that’s just an inevitability, part of the process sometimes. but if you can, maybe make notes of the idea before starting to draw. try to give a name/short description to the idea! you are allowed to write and make notes for yourself as you draw! that might help a little!
also have you considered trying to take a photo of yourself doing the pose, or using a mirror. then you’d ALSO have an accurate reference and your art will likely look better for it!
and i think sometimes forgetting an old idea might bring up a better idea! try sketching several different things of the same feeling, and don’t worry about the idea disappearing. our brains just do this to ourselves sometimes. you’ll have more ideas!

I finished these yesterday but posting now things have calmed down a bit, everyone posting and sending messages was a little too overwhelming for me all at once!
I think for a first try practising a regular chibi style over the kawaii chibi style these came out pretty good. I'm not super happy with all of them but I have plenty of time to learn and improve. In case the pic and captions aren't super clear: Scottney/Scourtney is in the top left, Duncney is top right, Aleduncan is in the middle, Crimsennui is bottom right, and Jock is bottom left.
The Aleduncan in the middle is meant to be part of a bigger picture so fingers crossed once I've got all my tech sorted and have caught up on work I can dedicate some time to doing a full on piece of work. Plus I still have my other digital Aleduncan sketch to finish colouring on my phone...

Concept; Alejandro and Duncan going to a pride parade and running into Chris and Chef.
I don't have a particular opinion on Chref as a ship but that's certainly an interesting idea!
I can see them all decked out in their various Pride flag themed outfits and face paint, having fun with their partners and then suddenly bumping into each other.
I feel like it would be one of those moments when they have to awkwardly pretend not to notice each other but they keep running into each other throughout the day.

Fanfics I’ll probably never write… High School Romance AU
- Alejandro, Courtney, Duncan, and Heather have been friends since they were toddlers
- They all hit puberty and start high school and their emotions go haywire
- They all have crushes on each other at different times, hilarity ensues:
   o Heather likes Courtney
   o Courtney likes Duncan
   o Duncan likes Alejandro
   o Alejandro is oblivious
- Everyone thinks Aleheather and Duncney are dating/should date
- Aleheather have a test kiss and Heather confirms to herself that she’s a lesbian
- Duncan is super jealous about the kiss and everyone thinks it’s because he likes Heather
- Duncan and Heather agree to fake date so people think they’re straight
- Courtney is upset Duncan doesn’t like her and Alejandro comforts her
- Deather BROtp immediately panics when it looks like Alecourtney might be a thing
- No one communicates like regular human beings because DRAMA
- Probably end game Aleduncan and Heathney... somehow

Fanfics I’ll probably never write… Law AU
- Courtney is a dedicated law student and in her first class at college she gets paired with… Duncan
- She’s super pissed and can’t figure out how Duncan even managed to get onto the same program as her in the first place
- They have their first debate assignment and Courtney is confident she won’t even have to put in that much effort to win
- Duncan is able to come out with all sorts of legal loopholes and obscure laws that totally defeat the arguments she’d prepared
- Duncan takes Courtney out for dinner after class and they get to know each other a lot better
- He comes from a family full of police and is a scholarship student that got on the program due to all the knowledge he picked up from his family and previous delinquent record
- The two of them start working together for real and helping each other with any gaps in their knowledge
- Courtney finds out Duncan’s being put on academic probation due to his poor record in his other classes and could get kicked out of college
- At his academic hearing she’s able to make a case for him to stay using the skills he taught her
(Ronnie guesses how Canadian/American universities work because he’s a sheltered British guy XD)

I'm thinking of learning how to draw people, and I've always loved your style. Do you have any advice for people who want to learn how to do digital art?
Aw thank you!!!
Okay so I've made a post about things I wish people would have told me when I was learning here BUT here's some extra #JustDigitalArtThings
USE PURPLE FOR YOUR SHADING AND WHACK IT ON A MULTIPLY LAYER AT A LOWER OPACITY IT IS THE ULTIMATE SECRET OF DIGITAL ART
Clipping layers figure out how to do them on your programme. If u don't know - Google it
Take your time with a new programme. You don't need to know how to do everything all at once. But get comfy with the basics
DONT USE PHOTOSHOP LIKE EVER
If you're a beginner use FireAlpaca (or Krita but I don't have much experience with it)
When sketching - you can be loose and messy! You don't have to be neat. You can make it more planned out on a different layer seriously just play around a bit
Here's what I do when sketching: figure out proportions first, then clothes, then hair, then face, then stick em all together and then refine it on a new layer.
Obviously you don't have to do this but they're all different elements and it helps me tackle it on chunks.
Try not to use the airbrush too much. Painting/blending with give you a more controlled effect
If you need references, Pinterest is your best friend! I also use a website called Senshistock.com for poses!
Experiment with different brushes
Never underestimate the power of the transform tool
Seriously though a lot of skill comes with time. You will not get what you want straight away and that's okay. It is practise that will be your best friend - which I know is so common to hear - but seriously if you stick with it it will be okay.

Art/Animation/Video Update:
Good day everyone.
You may or may not notice how quiet and inactive I've been lately - when I promised I would give regular updates about my renewed determination to practise art and learn to animate successfully. In the beginning, when I first started this new challenge, I was pumped up, and full of energy to start it. I made a promise that I would never give up no matter what, and always focus on getting better. And in the first 5-6 days, I did keep a level head and kept on going, with a clear goal at the end of it. But, over a relatively short time, -by day 5 I think- I became exhausted and couldn't carry on anymore. My own brain kept feeding and replaying bad memories over and over again, which left me feeling weak and spiritually broken. Eventually, I just burned out and collapsed. That was weeks ago now. Something I didn't expect to see again has returned suddenly, and with a vengeance.
The past two weeks have been nothing short of hell for me. Realistically speaking, there is nothing wrong with me. I didn't have a rough or traumatic childhood. I haven't lost anyone close to me. I didn't break up with a long term girlfriend (never even had one to begin with). And yet, for some reasons which I feel are too complicated and awkward for me to discuss here, I've been feeling overwhelmingly cynical and bleak, like there is absolutely no point to me being alive. I feel like I have no future. And my brain is stuck in the past and I can't pull it out of there.
I remember feeling like this back when I was in Canada, and 3 years before that. It is strange. I don't think I have any legitimate reason to be depressed. There are so many people around the world who have really suffered terrible losses and come from real, hard and trying life circumstances. I know people who were sexually abused when they were children. I know someone who suffers from Schizophrenia, and regularly experiences headaches after being involved in an incident that gave them serious injuries in their childhood. I don't have either of those. I'm living with my family again - my Mum and Dad, and my family all love me and think the world of me. I recently started a new joj as a host and food busser for this new fancy restaurant in the town near where I live. And when people ask me what I'm feeling, I always tell them I'm fine. So everything should be okay. I'm doing all the things I ought to. I'm not old. I'm not ill. But for some reason, I'm just so sick and tired. Of virtually everything.
I'm beginning to feel increasingly distant from my own life situation, like I'm on some kind of autopilot. Everything feels almost illusory and surreal. In a way, I wish I had some kind of real illness, like Coronavirus, or Cancer, with visible, manifest symptoms that everyone would notice. At least then there would be some kind of treatment for it. The past few days, my bedroom has slowly turned into a prison. I've become so lethargic, I haven't had breakfast in weeks. I've spent virtually entire days in my bed, and my dressing gown. I haven't even had the energy to take my dog for a walk. He is always sitting outside my bedroom door wagging his tail waiting for me to take care of him. I haven't spoken with my old school friends, or my extended family in ages, and I fear I'll never have the courage to break the mould and talk to them. And my bedroom is increasingly full of useless things that used to amuse me many years ago, but are now collecting dust. My piano is basically an ornament now - I haven't touched it in a very long time. My guitar's strings have long rusted and I haven't changed them in 7 years. I retrieved an old TV from the attic and hooked it to this laptop so I could use it as a second monitor to help with studying references while attempting digital art. But I've never even switched it on in months. My studio mic and audio interface - I suspect one or maybe both of them may be broken, but I can't even be bothered to investigate which - it just doesn't matter anymore. There are old songs from years ago that are half-finished that I wanted to finish and put on Soundcloud/maybe even Youtube, but music doesn't bring me enough joy anymore. Nothing does.
You know–it's funny. My Gundham Tanaka video I released a year ago is becoming far more popular than I ever anticipated it would. I keep receiving new messages from newcomers telling me: 'My depression is cured' or 'this just made me feel so much better', etc etc. It's gratifying for me to hear people say things like that. But it's beginning to get a little tiring, all the same. It's a message that's just so out of tune with what I'm feeling.I just feel like a walking, rotting corpse. Even Kaede isn't making me feel happy anymore. Instead, I just feel lonely, and miss her. Speaking of which, a few weeks ago, I watched a video by Weebynewz about her execution, and I've discovered new information about it that I didn't notice before, which has made me feel a hundred times more uncomfortable. Now I feel quite sick, and even seeing the thumbnail for her execution video is enough to ruin my mood and break any focus and concentration I once had.
I am lucky that I have online freerfs who I converse with regularly and who are always asking me if I'm okay. I'm grateful that they are there to make my daily experience marginally less shit. But these days, I rarely ever talk to them. I only respond now. I haven't got the energy to make small talk, or follow up on new developments or catch up with new memes. I know they're always looking out for me, but they are never going to get me out of this. The best they can do is stand well away from the event horizon and wait for me to force myself out of it.
Fortunately though, for those of you who are worried about me, it's not completely bad. I have started taking medication again. You see, for a long time, I mistakenly believed you weren't supposed to take antidepressants while driving/learning to drive because they make you experience tiredness as a side-effect. Recently though, I learned that that's not technically true. You can take meds while you are driving, but the idea is that you are not supposed to drive if you feel tired, or your senses are impaired. In addition, I am looking to see if I can visit a counsellor and start having sessions. I'm kind of desperate for good news and a hope of recovery at the moment, but I guess it's still better than nothing.
No matter what happens, I know this isn't really me. It's certainly a large part of me, but it's not all there is to my character. And frankly, I'm sick and tired of this, and I want it to stop. I want to keep entertaining all of you with silly videos. And maybe one day, I'd like to do a Q+A video/face+voice reveal, unprivate my old videos I made a decade ago, and introduce all of you to my real self. Then when that happens, I can finally move on, transcend my love of the Danganronpa franchise, and try something new. I'm not sure what that would entail. But it might be something that incorporates my love of music, anime, visual novels, and possibly writing/voice acting.
Until that day finally comes, I'm going to remain stuck in this rut for who-knows-how-long. I won't know when the day will come, but I like to think I'll be fully aware when it has, since I'll feel totally different and refreshed. The only way I can come to terms with this long, dreary spell of melancholy is if it exists to serve some kind of purpose. And if this experience is to mean anything, then ultimately, my purpose is finally one day break free from it and discover a secret 'purpose' or 'why', or perhaps unlock a hidden potential I never knew I had all along. When that happens, then I can make my return and move on. Then my story could pick up from where I last left it. Or perhaps I can rewrite it altogether.
I wish you all very well and sincerely hope NOBODY else in the world feels like this,
 - Bat

Tumblr media
You rushed past the dark haired male as soon as he opened the door, the fresh rainfall dampening your clothes as he locked it behind you. Your eyes fired up with desire as you stripped off your jacket, and dumped your bag by the stairs and yet all the while Jungkook remained unmoving.
“What are you doing here?” He mumbled, darkly, you noted, as he moved to stand in the doorway of his living room. Your actions paused as you pulled your lip between your teeth. Jungkook raised a brow, muscled arms crossing over his firm chest. You simply smiled at his actions, slowly walking over to the taller male with a sway in your hips. “You’re fuckin’ horny aren’t you, love?”
It was more of a statement than a question which caused your smile to widen as you slipped your arms around Jungkook’s neck, sighing when his hands slid down from over his chest to settle on your hips. “I called you...you didn’t answer. I’m stressed about my exams Ggukie, help me relax please...”
“You’re such a good girl, asking daddy nicely.” Jungkook hummed, lifting you to his waist by your thighs. Your lips met in a furious kiss, sucking one another in as your tongues clashed in a passionate dance for dominance. Squeezing your thighs, Jungkook blindly lead you to his bedroom, gently pulling away from your lips to nibble and bite and suck at your neck littering you with bruises. “Mine. You’re mine.”
You moaned out at his claim, fingers twisting in the black, obsidian locks of the boy busying himself with making a work of art out of your neck against his bedroom door. The routine was almost familiar to you, having a sort of fuck buddy relationship with Jungkook since the first semester of the year. Usually your encounters were smooth sailing, you’d call and he’d text and within an instant you were together, headboard smashing against the wall and waking your roommates.
Today, however, was different.
He was taking his time with you, teasing you as if you’d slip away. “Jungkook, please. I-I, oh god, don’t want to wait anymore...” you whined as his hips begun to slowly buck up into yours. Hot slick pooled between your thighs as he tamed you, reigning in on his control over you. “W-want you to take me...”
“Patience Y/N, you said you’re stressed...let me take care of you tonight.”
You barely had time to frown at Jungkook’s words, it wasn’t often that you went slow, especially when one of you were needy. Before you knew it, the door had finally popped open with a satisfying click and Jungkook was walking you over to the bed. You landed with a soft thump, eyes burning with desire as he removed his shirt to reveal his skin, golden like the rising sun and soft like the linen you lay on. Of course you could appreciate his abs, but like you’d told him many times before, he was beautiful... a vision to behold. Even with his fucked out eyes and pink tinted, swollen lips...Jungkook was a beauty.
Wordlessly, he crawled up the bed until your lips met once more, biting and sucking at each other until the were puffy and swollen. His hips were between your legs once more, pushing down on your clothed core with every thrust from his hips. You could feel the wetness of your heat collect in your panties and you were pretty sure Jungkook could too. His dark doe eyes clouded with lust at every whimper that surpassed your lips from every buck of his hips, his weighty length brushing against your desperate heat.
Unable to withstand the building pleasure between you, Jungkook pulled you up, tearing your shirt from your frame before discarding your leggings somewhere across the room and pushing you back down onto the bed to kiss you once more. The flame within you spread across your body like wildfire as his hands seamlessly unclipped your bra with a practised ease. “Look at your fuckin’ tits baby.” His words were slurred whilst he sucked at your lips, cool fingers coming up to play with your nipples. “Nice n perky for daddy, god I love your fuckin tits.”
The last part came out as a deep groan, his mouth latching onto your right breast causing you to arch your back into him. His heated tongue flicked over your nipple before he gently bit down on the mound of flesh, his other hand massaging your other breast. “J-jungkook! Mm-fuck!” You cried, fingers threading through his raven locks as he switched breasts.
The tug at his hair had him growling, as he finally pulled away from his assault on your chest, his eyes even darker than before. He smirked up at you drowsily, lips kissing a trail down past your navel and just above your panties. You squirmed as he neared the place were you desired him most, images of his head between your thighs, lapping away at your pussy flashing behind your unfocused eyes.
“Eyes on me, Y/N...” he teased, lips mouthing over the waistband of your panties before tearing them off with his teeth. They trailed down, as he left open mouthed kisses on your heated core and it took all your might not to clamp your thighs down on his head and have him stay between your legs forever. You jolted in your place on the bed when Jungkook strategically placed a wet kiss on your swollen clit, crying in pleasure even though he’d barely touched you. “Oh god baby, you’re s’fuckin wet for me aren’t you? So wet and I’ve not even given you my fingers, huh?”
You could feel his hot breath over your crying hole and it only heightened your need for him. “Gguk, please...w-want you s’bad.” You moaned shamelessly, desperate for any kind of attention.
But as soon as he came close to touching you, he was gone.
Opening your eyes, ready to chew one out on Jungkook, you looked up. His expression was dark, his lust for you replaced with something you couldn’t quite place but you could see in his eyes that you wouldn’t be going home without an orgasm tonight. “You know, I heard something pretty interesting about you the other day.” He started with hooded eyes, a single finger slipping under the waistband of your panties before pulling them off, to toy with its lace. “Something about you having a little...crush.”
“W-what?” You stammered breathlessly, your brain fogging with confusion and arousal as Jungkook’s cold finger came to circle your wet clit, his cool temperature sending shivers down your spine. Your hands latched onto his shoulder, sinking into his freckled skin as he worked slow circles into your nub.
“You know what I’m talking about princess,” Jungkook smiled, adding a second finger to swirl at your swollen clit. You moaned desperately as the two digits moved in synchronised movements, throwing your head back into the pillow. “You know what a crush is? Do I need to spell it out for you?” a silent scream tore in your throat as he begun to work the letters C-R-U-S-H into your sopping heat, the pleasure he was giving you just by stimulating your nub was almost enough to make you cum.
“What’s his name?” Jungkook growled as you began to grind your hips into his fingers, one of them slipping down to tease open your entrance. You shook your head, conflicted between why he had chosen now of all times to bring this up and the pleasure he was giving you. Your mouth opened with a scream as Jungkook’s digit slipped past your entrance, buried knuckle deep in your tight heat. “I won’t ask you again Y/N.”
“P-park Jimin!” You squealed as Jungkook gave an experimental thrust of his finger, you arched your back as he curled it to let it drag across your walls, rewarding you with another finger. Jungkook froze, as if he had sunken into deep thought, before he resumed his actions.
“Call him.”
You gripped his wrist in surprise as he begun to curl is fingers inside you with every thrust, stimulating that special spot. You shook your head once more, whining at the fast pace of his digits slipping in and out of your heat, lewd sounds of your arousal piercing the air.
“Do it, or I stop.” He hummed against the shell of your ear, the pace of his fingers never easing up as he handed you his phone. It was already unlocked to your surprise and you were even more surprised when you found Jimin’s number in his contact list. Jungkook smiled encouragingly as you dialled the number, kissing another pathway down to your core. “There’s a good girl...”
The phone rang about three times before there was an answer, and you didn’t miss the way Jungkook slowed his thrusts to match the ringing of the phone. “Hello?”
You bit your lip to suppress your crude moans as Jungkook’s lips sealed around your clit, sucking on the nub in a way that usually had you screaming. “J-jimin! Hi!” You stammered breathlessly into the phone, taking a deep breath to steady your shaking voice. “uh, it’s me, Y/N from your psychology class!”
You internally cursed Jungkook for adding a third finger just as you introduced yourself, wanting to close your thighs around his head and choke the cockiness out of him. Jimin’s melodious laugh wafted through the phone and you felt your heart melt and heat spread to your cheeks at the sound. “I know Y/N, we sit next to each other, how comes you’re calling from Jungkook’s phone?”
“O-oh my! F-fuck Jungkook!” The sound of his own name must have spurred him on, for Jungkook switched from fingering you to eating you out, his hot wet tongue slurping at the pool of arousal that had collected from his previous ministrations. His finger begun to flick at your clit once more, and you almost closed your thighs when his other hand came up to spread them apart, giving you a look that said ‘keep them open.’ Jimin’s faint voice from the phone reminded of the situation that you were currently in, and you blushed, hurriedly trying to think of an excuse. “I-I mean, fuck Jungkook, t-that fucker-oh!- took my phone to play games-!”
You gasped, glaring down at Jungkook, who’s face glistened with your slick after biting your thigh. The sight of him all messy with your wetness had you silently moaning as Jimin chuckled from his end of the line. “Well thats for you Gguk isn’t it?” You could hear the smile in Jimin’s voice, and you felt your arousal flare up just with the knowledge that he was completely innocent to your acts. “Did you need something though? You don’t usually call...”
The cold air between your legs told you that Jungkook had moved again, looking up from your call, you noted with a dry throat and a mind clouded with lust that he was unbuckling his belt, throwing his boxers and jeans to the floor, leaving him naked in all his glory. Your jaw went slack at the sight of his bare frame, all shame completely thrown out the window as you mewled out your approval. Even though you’d seen him open and bare, countless times before, the moment when he was completely stripped down never failed to amaze you.
Your whines grew at a higher pitch and you barely acknowledge Jimin asking if you were okay as the dark haired man before you begun to massage your thighs, pulling them open so he could take a peek at what was his. Your hands longed to grab at his supple skin, claw at his back and bite his shoulders and Jungkook only tutted at you. “K-kookie please, please lemme touch, need’ta touch you...”
“Y/N? What’s going on, is everything alright?” Jimin’s muffled voice sounded from the phone, his tone laced with worry. Jungkook chuckled, leaning down so that his chest was pressed against your breasts, causing your nipples to stand on end.
“Put him on mute baby.” Jungkook hummed, grinding his bare length against your wet, pathetic mound. You nodded, on the verge of tears at the stimulation. You still hadn’t cum yet. Pressing the mute button, you moaned aloud, gripping Jungkook’s shoulders as he slapped his cock against your sensitive clit. Your ears were immune to the worried whispers of Jimin as you desperately moved your hips in time with Jungkook. “Listen carefully to what I say princess. You’re going to tell little Jiminie how much you like him, how much you want him whilst your pretty little pussy is clenching around my cock, you got that?”
“Mm...no gguk...please no-“ you gasped, the tip of his member teasing your entrance. He looked down at you, steely determination in his eyes and you realised that if you didn’t do this, Jungkook would leave you high and dry for as long as he pleased. Heat and arousal flared up within you once more, you were impossibly turned on and if this is what you had to do for Jungkook to get you off, then so be it. You were past the stage of embarrassment now.
Reaching up, you unmuted the phone just as Jungkook began to lather is length up with the physical evidence of your arousal. The slick delicious sound had you gulping as you called out for Jimin. “J-jiminie,” you sighed the anticipation of finally having Jungkook inside you, clouding your thoughts. “Jimin- you still there?”
“Yes...” he whispered back into the phone, and it almost sounded as if he was further away. “Y/N are you alright?”
“I’m fine. I just- just wanted to tell you something important...” your breathing had become laboured at this point as Jungkook eased his girthy length into you inch by inch, his dark eyes focused on where your body’s met and you sucked him in greedily. “Jiminie-I, ohmygod! I think I like you-!”
You moaned into the phone, the device falling from your grip as Jungkook entered you fully with one single thrust. Jimin’s end of the phone went silent for what seemed like ages and his voice was barely above a whisper when he did speak. “I think I feel the same...I just never made a move because I thought you had a thing with Jungkook...”
Your heart melted at Jimin’s words, and you felt some kind of mental relief at the thought of him liking you back. You were just about to respond when Jungkook snapped his hips into yours with force, driving your frame up the bed as he fucked into you. You squealed, grasping his shoulders as his cock drilled into you with ease, thanks to the lubrication of your core.
Your eyes rolled to the back of your head with each thrust, the pleasure and overstimulation coursing through your veins. The head of his cock caught on the walls of your, weeping pussy and you arch your back into him, breasts pressing against his chest as you clench around him. “Oh fuck, Y/N baby you feel s’good...” Jungkook lets out the choked moan before he can stop himself, dark mop of heat dropping to your neck to bite at the soft skin there. “Mine, my pussy, only mine.”
His words are slurred, and your heart and your core flutter at his possessiveness but it almost feels like he’s trying to prove a point. Jungkook’s long fingers ease down between your legs, where your body’s meet and he’s bucking into you at a brutal pace, they soon find your sensitive clit and you almost want to writhe away from the pleasure he’s giving you.
“M’ all yours Kookie, please!” You cry, sensitivity heightened and that’s when you remember Jimin on the other line. You wonder if he’s getting off at the sound of your skin slapping and the lewd sounds of your squelching pussy, the thought only arouses you more, increasing your wetness and you can’t help but moan even louder. You can’t tell if it’s for Jimin’s sake or for Jungkook’s.
“Y-Y/N... is that Jungkook?” Jimin’s voice comes out strained, and you mewl as Jungkook pulls all the way out, only to pound back into you again, rougher and faster than he was before.
The dark haired male quickly pulls a finger away from rubbing figures of eight on your clit, letting the digit slip between his lips to suck off your juices in a way that has your legs tightening around his hips. Jungkook grips the phone, mumbling something about Jimin getting on his nerves. Without a word, Jungkook pulls out of your heat and flips you over onto your stomach. He yanks your hips up so that your ass meets his cock, before slipping back in.
A hand slaps your ass as you grind back into him, craving some kind of release. “You hear that Park?” Jungkook growls, slapping your cheek again, causing you to whine, tears pooling in your eyes as you grip the sheets. “That’s the sound of your girl getting fucked, fucked so good she can’t tell what’s up or down. Now remember for the next time that you fuck her, it’ll be my cum that stains her walls and my name she’ll be moaning. Isn’t that right princess?”
“Yes Jungkook! Oh god yes! Fuck me please, wanna cum s’bad!” You moan with wanton, moving your hips in sync with his, tears blurring got vision and your mind clouded with lust. That was enough to satisfy him, for he leaned down to press slopping kisses to the slope of your back, the hint of a smirk on his lips.
“Later, Park.” He groaned into the phone, as he leaned back up. His pace never slowed when he hung up the phone, tossing it somewhere else on the bed. “You’re such a dirty girl, princess. Moaning like a dirty little slut for daddy when talking to your crush.” Jungkook punctuated each word with a thrust, hitting your spot each time and driving you closer towards the edge.
“M’ so close...” you cried, words slurring together as your own hips matched Jungkook’s pace. “I’m gonna cum!”
“Then do it, cum on daddy’s cock like the dirty girl you are.”
That was all you needed to be pushed over the edge, your vision blurred as a powerful orgasm ripped through you, splashing out onto Jungkook’s length. His pace didn’t let up as white flashed behind your eyes and you screamed out his name. He helped you ride out your high, slowly thrusting into you as your pussy fluttered around his girth. You milked him for all his worth, creaming around him before Jungkook pulled out with a broken moan, his white hot seed painting your ass like he was laying his claim.
He collapsed on top of you, sweaty skin sticking to yours as his softening length rubbed against you. You lay together, breath mingling for a while before Jungkook got up and grabbed a hot cloth to clean you up. All the while you stayed silent, mind racing at the events that had just occurred.
“You’re awfully quiet for someone who just got their brains fucked out, could’ve sworn you were crying.” Jungkook teased with a bunny smile, arms coming up to wrap around your naked waist. You only hummed in response, allowing him to spoon you and it wasn’t long before you felt him frown against your skin. “W-was I too rough? You know you can always tell me when I am... I’ll stop-“
“You fucked me whilst on the phone to him, Kook.” You stated, blankly and unsure how to feel. You felt Jungkook freeze behind you, before he started to trace patterns on the exposed skin of your shoulder. He sighed.
“Well as far as I could tell, you were enjoying it and by the sounds of things, he was too.
The smirk in his voice had you rolling over, eyes glistening with tears you hoped he couldn’t see. “I liked him Jungkook, I still do. And now he probably hates me, probably thinks that I was lying just to hurt his feelings. I won’t be able to look at him without feeling guilty...”
“Fuck, you really liked him, huh?” Jungkook frowned, looking away from you, an emotion that you couldn’t quite place swirling in his eyes. You nodded silently, suddenly regretting coming over tonight. Jungkook bit his lip, looking as if he wanted to say something, when his phone vibrated from somewhere within the sheets. He scrambled to find it, pulling the screen close to his face and grimacing at the brightness when he did. “It’s for you.”
With furrowed brows, you took the device from Jungkook, eyes flicking over the text that illuminated the screen.
JIMIN: Hey Jungkook, thanks for the heads up about Y/N but I think I’ve got it covered. Tell her I’ll pick her up tomorrow at eight, assuming she’s still with you.
You felt a warm flush spread across your cheeks as you re-read the text over and over again. Your heart fluttered with joy, because Jimin still wanted to see you and liked you too. Jungkook remained quiet as you squealed over the text, his eyes raging with disappointment, for Jimin wasn’t the only one to have feelings for you.

heyy!! i really like your work and think you're SUPER MEGA cool, and hope you get REALLY good at animating!! drawing is the first step, so making it move is the next haha. (once i save enough for a tablet i'll practice a lot!!) but i have a question: how do you improve as an artist? do you actively seek out critique or does it come with time and sub-conscious decisions to not do the bad thing anymore? what did you do? love you, keep fredding on!! ----some stupid idiot who wants to be anonymous
Tumblr media
thank u anon this is super sweet!!! it means a lot<3
also ive been an animation student for 5 years now so i know a little bit but probably, less than i should.....i do Not practise enough
as for tips! let me try and compile a short list of things that help me!
• u hear it all the time but its true-practise practise practise!!! sketchbooks, digital, whatever strikes ur fancy. practising is the MOST important thing u can do
• understand and research the basics. you dont need to be an expert on anything, god knows im not, but its good to know a bit! this includes but isnt limited to:
colour theory! why colours go together, what colour schemes look good, etc. heres some basics on it! personally
[i also find symbolism of colour just as important. obviously symbolism varies from person to person and culture! but heres a quick guide on the usual symbolism of colour. if something sounds wrong to you though, mess with it yourself!]
tthe form of subjects-this means drawing basic shapes, and using them to construct [basically] anything! the idea is its much easier to draw and move around a series of cubes and cylinders, than a whole human body. heres a guide on how form works.
draw a box is a challenge recommended to me by my lecturer for improving on drawing shapes and forms! i highly recommend it!
value and lighting are important! heres an explanation on value. im not sure much can be done to cheat lighting and value, except for master studies (we’ll get to that shortly!) and observation.
the most useful tip on value ive learned, is to turn your art black and white, and see if it all has enough contrast without colour. if not, time to work on the values!
composition, babey. how subjects are arranged in a piece. heres a bunch of stuff on it [im still learning this one...rule of thirds i will Die for tho]
anatomy! this is the hardest shit. i still dont get it. my lecturers recommend andy loomis [heres a pdf of his figure drawing book] idt his way was quite up my alley, but u never know!
• speaking of anatomy-life drawing is an INCREDIBLY useful reference. so goddamn useful, u dont even know. they help u figure out anatomy! this includes gesture studies, and more detailed things. i recommend googling how a typical life drawing class goes down/tips for it
life drawing classes are very difficult to access atm, so here are a couple of online resources! [all of these will obv contain nude bodies]
croquis cafe-contains free videos that simulate a life drawing class! videos are more useful than images. has a variety of ethnicities and body types, which is wonderful!
line of action- a site with a variety of images on figure drawing, animal drawing, as well as hands & feet, expression/face focus, and environmental things. you can set it to play as a slideshow for as long as u like, or set it up to be similar in timing to a real life drawing class
online stock photo artists such as senshistock, who has compiled a useful little list of similar accounts over here!
•  reference reference reference!! references are so incredibly useful, and anyone who tells you using a reference is cheating is wrong on every conceivable level. reference from photos, from movies, from videos, everything.
something ive had to do in every level of art education is recreations and master studies.
this means collecting artists work from professionals-be it historic painters, movie screenshots, concept artists, anything!
it makes you focus on their compositions, how the lighting works, the colours used, pretty much everything.
this is useful bc it can 1: get you out of your comfort zone and 2: make you use new techniques you might never have considered
online tools such as designdoll and justsketchme have poseable models for you to pose as you please and reference from! suuuuper useful, especially for perspective poses.
• experimentation! fuck around. use brushes youve never used before, try a new medium, collect every free sample from the craft store and just Do Shit with it.
•  absorb every goddamn piece of art u have ever come across, and save what you enjoy.
and i mean save everything you enjoy. u like a movies lighting? a certain shot? an outfit? a random piece of fanart u came across? save it! look at it, figure out what it is u like
make a private pinterest board or a folder on ur computer, save everything.
absorb and yank bits from art u enjoy. obviously dont imitate someones entire style, but if u like the way someone draws hands, or noses, or eyes, reference it. recreate it. see what u like, and incorporate it into ur own art
art is a big mess of taking things u like and making it ur own
•  study professionals! animations, artists, illustrators. they know what they’re doing.
heres a useful resource with a lot of rare concept art from animated movies! i go here a lot.
buy art books, or acquire pdfs of them, im not a cop, i dont care
• as for critique, i do look for critique, and pay attention to it, but it’s important to know not to take it personally. and i recommend asking people whos opinions you value!
i think thats all i can think of right now in terms of General Art....
if u want me to elaborate on anything or show me art, ask for help or just talk art stuff [character design is my fav and my speciality, ive been studying it for a while 👀] please dont be afraid to dm me or just send me another ask!
best of luck anon, i rly hope this helps! :D

Tumblr media
I can paint, see above for proof.
However since falling into this fandom, I have been continually stunned by the wonderful fanart created by artists like @neontsuba @redemsi @lenle-g @the-lady-razorsharp @rika-cr-tb  and @ribkadory
A good percentage of this art is digitally created and while I’m digitally fluent - I’m a freelance graphic and web designer, I knows my computer stuff - and have been building graphics since the 1990s - look at me, I has my own website - www.gumnut.net  - I’m finding myself horribly challenged to create my own digital art.
There is a big difference between painting in acrylics vs painting in pixels. And you might say, but hey the style is completely different. But look at this...
Tumblr media
I drew that with pencil and pen back in 2001. I built my portraiture skills by admiring comic book artists. I has, or had, the technical skill on paper, so why the hell am I having so much trouble with my lovely new Apple Pencil????
More proof? Here is something I drew sitting on the couch watching Ironman back in 2012.
Tumblr media
I can do this, so why can’t I do it digitally? Aaaargh!
Now let’s rant about my inadequacies...
I will admit part of the problem is time. I’m fully focussed on writing at the moment and what little time I have is eaten by that. But this is bugging me majorly so I’m going to crack eventually.
My next challenge is the human body. I can do portraiture, but I totally suck at human anatomy, which is a major part of all the digital art I’m admiring. I’ve done quite a bit of life drawing, both in college and for fun, but the subtleties of body expression is what I lack, and probably some basic anatomy, and my drawings come out wooden. So, first on the list is to teach myself some of this - any advice greatly appreciated!
Another challenge is that I still haven’t worked out how layers work. I know they are a great tool and I have watched them being used on YouTube, but I’m not using them to their full extent and sometimes forgetting to use them at all.
I NEED PRACTISE!
Also, the faces of the Thunderbirds brothers don’t conform to human facial norms and they are throwing me out of whack. Normal portraiture rules do not apply.
And I’m raving. I finally have a medium I am happy to draw with...the Apple Pencil is divine compared to some of the techniques I’ve tried over the years, so I really just have to do this.
My eleven year old daughter draws better than me digitally, and it is really getting to me.
I NEED TO FIX THIS!
It is all about focus. Writing is so damned addictive. Work gets in the way.
Oh, and by the way, I cancelled my art exhibition. I reached breaking point and faced the fact it just wasn’t going to happen. It is not the right time ::headdesk:: It had nothing to do with all that writing, no, nothing at all. Did I say addiction?
Anyway, I will end my rant here. I need to pull my finger out and focus on my art. Killing off the exhibition should actually help with that. ::sigh::
I want to do everything at once ::wails::
Nutty (It’s all in my name)
