Eris is reader’s bff and Azriel is reader’s mate.
She has the two options - but when she chooses one of them the other ends up dying
But if she chooses both….

Ok so I'm going to be spit balling ideas for my fic "Trouble in Paradise?" SO these might be spoilers, but not ones that will ruin the plot. I think. So you have been warned.
Ok so I've been thinking a lot, mostly over a few comments I got on my fic, one being how people don't know what's going on with Raph in future chapters so here we go, explanation time:
I created Mind Leo, who is almost exactly like Mind Raph, to be the reason to Leo. I wanted to show that he isn't stupid, he just chooses to ignore the problem right infront of him. Mind Leo is the nagging thought, coaching him, giving him advice, trying to help him as someone not tangled up in love (both romantic and family)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He exists, kinda as a bystander, but here's where things get more complex. He is completely aware of some outside factors, why? Because he has access to the other "Minds" or personifications of the turtle brothers. You won't see Mikeys or Donnies, because they are not at that level of stress. Raph his whole life has throw everything to make sure his brothers get everything they deserve.Because of resent events, Leo has begun to go through a similar thing. Hence Mind Leo always calling Leo out for excusing certain behaviors and feelings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
SO Im thinking that Mind Leo and Mind Raph can in one form or another communicate with each other, sharing what they know and alerting the other when there is trouble. The thing is the Minds can only share as much as the indivdul themselves know. But they can give emotions regarding something. SOoooo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While the two can share information, they can only give Raph and Leo emotions and feelings about things. This possibly could be true for Mikey and Donnie, but I've yet to explore that
Tumblr media Tumblr media
SO yes, those who got all the way through, hope you enjoyed this ramble

I think SCU shadow should project the trope of “ I have every reason to hate the world and watch it burn, I don’t choose to hate, the world has given me no other option, I rage because the world deserves it” . While sonic carries out the trope of “ I will choose to love, the world is full of choices, and results we can’t always control, and every time, I will choose to love.” I think they should be so deeply committed to their views on the world , right up until they meet, and suddenly their views on the world are thrown out of whack, they’re scared , they’re confused, they’re trying to carry out their missions and heroic duties while struggling to understand the other, they can’t instantly comprehend how the others view has stayed the way it is. And that level of fear and frustration gets stronger every time they interact, or battle. And they remain in that trope for most of the movie, slowly getting to the point where they either understand the others point of view, or they just give up on trying to make the other understand at all.

Stay with me here but I think I just had a realization about Wukong.
I think Wukong's biggest weakness as a mentor isn't his overwhelming lack of proper communication/"just swallow your trauma lol you'll be okay if we just don't think about it"-- but instead it's that he doesn't believe in teamwork-- which is the exact opposite of how Pigsy (and Tang) raised MK, and is probably why he hates that monkey so damn much
Pigsy, Tang, and MK have all said "there's nothing we can't do together", leading me to believe it's some kind of family motto/philosophy they all share, but Wukong would rather zip MK up the mountain so that they aren't bogged down by the rest of the group (maybe because he believes, like with most problems, only he can help).
But isolation makes MK weaker and more anxious because he truly relies on his friends and family for everything (bro has never defeated a villain by himself lmao)-- but Wukong doesn't understand this bc he's so used to being so goddamn overpowered that he's never really had to rely on others (and/or when he has, it doesn't end well/he ends up handling it anyways), and he (probably accidentally) drives this into MK's own head, despite it not being the same.
tl;dr MK's habit of isolation (especially when it comes to his self-sacrificial desires) is low key Wukong's fault because Wukong doesn't know how to rely on others and has accidentally overridden MK's childhood teachings (which is also why Pigsy has so much beef with that monkey maybe)

Not to keep adding ideas to the ever-growing pile I have, but I do think a lot about a fic of Sanji’s siblings coming crashing back into his life once he’s settled down in the All Blue.
Like Sanji is living his dream. He’s got his restaurant, he’s got Zoro, he’s got three beautiful children, he’s got his found family in the crew and the baratie. He’s fully thriving and BAM a big ass ship shows up one day and out pops his siblings looking for him.
And he so fucking mad because he never wanted to see any of them again. He especially didn’t want his kids within 100 miles of them. But they roll up to his restaurant (or house, depending what kind of narrative tension you want to have) and say “dad’s dead. Come home for his funeral”
Aaaaand that’s all I got.

Though it is a sad thought knowing that without Richtofen, Takeo remains the same and probably even worse than ever if he was the officer that tortured Miller. Cause he learned his lesson that he shouldn’t rely on false leaders like the Emperor. I’m betting Nikolai got locked up in Vorkuta given that he’s technically one of Stalin’s enemies due to his political background.
if they do go that route they will definitely be reverting whatever development they got in the original universe. Atrocities were common on both sides of the war and I doubt that any of our crew is entirely "moral" since there's no such thing as a "moral" war, considering how much they throw themselves rather gleefully into it. If Takeo *is* the officer, he has certainly experienced a bastardization arc where he becomes more "evil" so to speak.
I however doubt that because it contradicts his scant characterization pre-115 experimentation where he had condemned the Division 9 for their use of POWs as test subjects. I simply cannot see him treating Miller like that without some major Fucking Up of his life to make him compromise his honorable ideals.
However if we did go along with it, a bastard Takeo seems like an interesting angle to pursue considering the other ones are very honorable and respectable. Kinda like seeing an Oath Breaker paladin instead of a regular paladin; lots of things to explore about a person who has abandoned their code. But the writers would need to be Extremely Careful because that could get Really Racist *really quick*.
As for hypothetical Nikolai, having him be imprisoned would definitely change things around for him. More than likely disillusion him to communism and his own government/country. Probably either depress him more with him being abandoned by everyone (his wife dies, his home is destroyed, his country betrays him) or it turns into rage. Ultimis Nikolai was too addled to have strong opinions while Primis Nikolai was too despondent + removed from the situation to showcase his emotions without it feeling shoehorned in. also it would probably wean him off alcohol since it's not allowed in prisons (though one could argue that he just drinks moonshined prison liquor)
A rageful, even more confrontational Nikolai sounds interesting. The ones we've met are always subdued in some way, either by alcohol or their own mental demons. An outspoken one would be pretty refreshing considering their natural coping mechanism seems to be either repression or resignation.
Though that offers a trend within these hypothetical reboot ultimis, that being the hoisting off of previous inhibitions. Which I guess could be symbolic considering how oppressive Ultimis Richtofen was. Without him there, they are more "free" for better or for worse.
I suppose that leaves Dempsey. What exactly could he be "freed" from? We don't know anything about him, really. He served in the Marines and was happy with that, plus he could leave at any time. He is only truly restricted when he is captured by Richtofen, who cannot do that in the new universe. The only thing I can sort of grasp at is Player Control? so I guess it means he's "freed" from being playable. Which I guess is a Dempsey W??? it has weird implications yet no real consequences on any canon story because his Player Shtick is purely meta. damn you Dempsey I can't even speculate about your ass.

I feel like if Larian is going to treat bg3 like a live service game and/or an early (post-release?) access model, then why not put out a road map? Even World of Warcraft is doing that now.
I am just confused about what they are releasing and what expectations are. On one hand, it feels a bit entitled... but they are constantly making changes to a game I paid $60 for with the expectation it would be finished on release. I feel like they have encouraged this behavior.
I think it can also give people an opportunity to decide whether they want to keep picking the game up.

The thing that makes Jade as a character hurt so much is when you rewatch her scenes and look into her bios (from the Eden site and art book) as well as consider the setting of Eden and compare to her original counter part, Jade life is messed up it's not even funny
The things we know for sure is that:
Her parents died in the wasteland war
After which she was put under Pey'J's care
Pey'J is the main inspiration for Jade's passion to report the truth about Eden, especially in regards to it's treatment of hybrids
Pey'J knew Jade as a baby but at some point in time began to develop an attraction towards her
Above point had a major impact on the relationship between the two and how Pey'J raised Jade. Jade grew up with Pey'J being hostile towards random guys and she thought of this as a normal thing. Not only that, but during her time under Pey'J's care she ended up being the one responsible for his emotional wellbeing (based on how she casually blocked Pey’J from lashing out at Dolph AND how she is shown to tend to Pey’J’s emotional distress)
Based on how she reacted to Sarah forcing her into a dress and during the confession, Jade was raised to ignore her own needs to appeal to authority figures
Already all of that is sickeningly sad but then you look into implications that can be taken from Eden’s world building and her game lore, you can make things so much worse for her
Eden is known to dabble into Eugenic practices for its own ends (like plucking kids away from their families because they got “good genes” to be cyborg weapons)
In the beyond good and evil universe, cloning is a very normal thing especially for non human characters (idk if it’s still canon but I read it was going to explained in the sequel that cloning is the only means of reproduction in this universe?)
Presumably hybrids are created by a similar cloning method, or at least a majority of them were before they began reproducing with each other
Likewise, it’s a popular theory Jade is a result of an experiment to fuse human DNA with alien DNA and may actually be a clone of her mother in some form
Interestingly, we know next to nothing about Jade’s parents in the Laserhawk universe besides they died in the wasteland war.
……. Is it possible that the reason Pey’J has feelings for Jade is because she’s actually a clone of her mother who Pey’J was originally attracted too?

I haven't seen anyone mention this but Lena said the Mr. Bonzo was "one of" their Externals, meaning multiple. Considering their involvement in this episode's case, do you guys think Ink5oul might also be an External?

god, the like. seventy writers needed for all the cascading choices... we better get working, besties
Yeah! It would be a lot of work/people needed. And I think it would be best if about 2-3 people work on each “main” character to keep their characterization and dialogue choices consistent. So yeah… it would be a huge project. 👁️
