HATE when someone genderbends an ‘ugly’ guy and like they can draw the guy normally but they make the girl smooth pretty and adorable. Like, why can she not be the same? Why does she gotta be conventionally attractive. Why did you make her nose smaller and remove her wrinkles and made her look like a Barbie doll when you obviously have an understanding that the guy does not look like that TM.

ffxiv as a whole is like a ghibli movie. not in the way people usually describe ghibli movies like they're just peaceful and cozy and light-hearted but like. in the way it's a post-apocalyptic world and an active apocalypse story on like a dozen different levels and it's also all about society rebuilding after the apocalypse never quite reclaiming what it used to be but making something new all the same. and also it's about how gay catboys are equivalent to nuclear missiles

a lot of people act like xie lian was entirely unaware/ignorant to the power imbalance in his and mu qings relationship when he was probably the most empathetic and understanding towards mu qing. for example, he defends mqs behaviour to fx multiple times because he understands what causes it.

i think he just believed their friendship overcame this power imbalance (which was easier for him to do because he wasnt negatively impacted by it unlike mu qing).

whereas, despite how deeply he cared for xl, mq couldnt overlook it because he was literally xls servant and was faced with this power imbalance everyday.

xl saw mq as his friend first, however mq believed he was viewed primarily as a servant

Trust me I know this is a reach, but remember in The Cruel Prince when Jude was high on faerie fruit and Cardan told Jude to kiss his foot? Well, Jude adds that he’s wearing leather shoes and I found this,

If anyone doesn’t know, salt is the antidote for humans to rid of faerie fruit effects. So what I’m saying is, I wonder if this was another one of his attempts to sober her from the effects?
