I had a visitor once who insisted that the angels painted on the ceiling of the dome were able to talk to him and told him to buy a gold mine in the desert. he then asked me if I experienced a higher state of consciousness from spending so much time around the angels and frequencies they vibrated, and asked if the angel of loyalty told me to be faithful to my (nonexistent) husband. he was wearing the trippiest of tie dye tshirts with an owl and stars on it so like obviously an old hippie who fried his brains on drugs but man that was an entertaining day at work

Someday I’m going to write a book about working in museums and have an entire chapter dedicated to the weird things people have said to or have asked me. On second thought maybe I’ll make that the whole book.

I know most Leon fans do not give a shit about the 2000 live action adaptation of RE but I got a copy on a cool promotional ad that came out before apocalypse (the second film, I personally like the first 2 because nostalgia but can’t stomach the other 7? 8? However many films were in this franchise). This is Leon’s appearance in these films.

Look there he is! He replaces Chris in this time line and he fucking died a painful death that gave Jill ptsd. Too bad these movies didn’t show that, I would have liked to see.

Her need to separate her married daughters in family pics is truly unique to her lol I've never seen anything like it, and it's so strange. Like they're still a part of your family, why must we always point out they have different last names? It's just so unnecessary and weird and always ruins a nice photo.

Some of the little girls' outfits are freakin bizarre like always, like I don't even understand what Sadie is wearing......I think it's like, a gold shirt over another long sleeved shirt with a white skirt?? I try to be careful when criticizing this family's outfits, because I don't want to come off like I'm shaming them for not being able to afford things (which I never am, it is irrelevant) but that's not the issue with the younger girls outfits, they're just SO random looking and mismatched, like they were playing dress up or something. I will never get it.

Heidi's closed eyes are the icing on the very weird cake. This might be in the running for my new header as well.

She is a Special Operations Agent, a Director of Foreign affairs, yet those titles fall on ears that sometimes wish she was just Jill Valentine.

She is a soldier, an Operator, but she was not Jill but Sparrow, named after a bird that did not know what being caged was like. Named after a bird that though small in stature, held a desire to survive and thrive through the harshest of conditions. Named after a bird that could never be taught to sing on command for who does a sparrow listen to if not the winds of the sky.

She is a specialist, a corporal, a Captain, her skill speaks volumes about who she is, Captain Valentine, the strongest woman in Delta Force, yet Jill Valentine was determined, her own perseverence allowing her to gain that accomplishment.

She is a daughter. She learned all her skills from a thief father, who always did his best to watch over her.

She is a friend. Someone to always rely on in times of stress, who gets the job done.

To very certain people? She is a lover, though one not very well versed in the ways of love after knowing only hardship for so long.

To herself?

She sometimes doesn't know who she is through all of the names, the titles.

But ultimately, she is Jill Valentine, the sparrow who could never be struck from the sky.
