thank you for previous explain. It was so long and detailed. I had now another question. About lady's life in Asgard. Sigyn x Loki for me. And Sigyn is not warrior, but typical lady. Can you write something about it?

Honestly if you're looking for an example of that in canon MCU, much of Frigga's character and especially her surroundings as expressed on screen does have quite a few examples.

In fact, we aren't even given the idea she can still fight until she absolutely has to in The Dark World.

And, it's in Dark World (and a little of both Ragnarok [geh] and Endgame if you take both the premise of the Valkyries and the time travel scenes in it seriously) that we are given those examples.

Remember, whether they are fighters themselves or not: if they're Asgardian, they're still raised as a part of that previously mentioned warmongering imperialist society: and that would be (as also told to us in their dialogue about Jane and Sif, and their King Odin's expectations) even more strictly observed by someone like a lady in that kind of royalist/imperialist hierarchy, rather than a warrior.

That is why I say 'much' of Frigga's character and surroundings.. but not all. It's not the fighting you need to look at, though that can help. It's her mannerisms, her rooms (look at TDW including the fight with Malekith), her maids, and more. Frigga is, as Queen and even without the fight or ability itself: the top and more importantly leading example of what to expect of a lady of the royal court: as she should be in that kin of society.

And that's also VERY probably why she doesn't fight in any of THor 2011 on screen: even when Laufey shows up, regardless of her being nearer to the main palace then, than she was in TDW: where she was shown being in a separate side palace at least a few miles away when Algrim/Kurse broke out of the dungeon: all the way up until her life, and Jane's, are in immediate danger after having left that portion of the palace during the attack that Kurse opened the shields to manage.

(Which side note was REEEEALLY questionable at the time with a human housing an infinity stone in tow at the time, but is neither here nor there with other things taken into account... just a very dangerous for Jane choice, given what enemies they did have even without the elves being taken into account.. but eh, it is canon and it does fit the flavors of Asgard's, Odin's, and Frigga's own arrogance and ignorance in regards to Asgard's 'impervious' mindset state, as far as the upper echelons of their society seems to be concerned as portrayed on screen.)

In a way, it's made pretty clear that while Frigga still retains much of her skills as a fighter and mage/witch (Or the daughter of three witches at least as we also now know through canon dialogue:) the things she does and doesn't do, while also comparing that to someone like Brunhilde (aka Valkyrie) and how they were clearly recieved during and well after their term as an active female-only fighting force, the canon makes it pretty clear that unless they do retain that fighter status, women (perhaps including the queen) either do not tend to hold as much sway or dignity in other pursuits outside the household.

In other words and as an canon example.. even as the other ruler on the throne and his adoptive mother; Frigga is easily able to set aside the throne and any responsibility for doing so even in that situation. Regardless of, the fact that; at that point the situation is that Jotunheim had declared war in response to Thor's treasonous invasion, and regardless of being closest to Loki (we know this through the words of every character in the family: Thor says it repeatedly, Odin goads and attempts to guilt trip him with that close relationship too, and Frigga does the same with her own wierdness during her conversation with him in TDW's dungeon cell scene) knowing full well not only what she was asking of Loki, but also what Loki was going through in having just recently discovered that he wasn't only not of the same species: but on top of that was Laufey's biological son AND Jotunheim's only known of prince. Whom, Odin admitted he had taken to 'forge a permanent peace.'

A peace that, probably wouldn't have happened anyway if he and it had been handled just as poorly as well, it was.

Think about that for a little bit; really think about it: and the fact that she did so, while playing the part and claiming she was closest to him and cared about him the most.

That canonically casts some seriously gross and awkward truths into the realm of how their their relationship actually is versus how Frigga and the rest of them tried to paint it. As well as touching her own guilt evasion there too: and is something that both in the first Thor and the second film both: Frigga absolutely side steps taking any responsibility for, as the mother, the mentor, and the lady who raised him with that lie: regardless of their supposed closeness.

And, why that's important? Is because, under that king, husband and society as it goes: she is not just allowed to do that without complaint from any of the above, their society OR the foster-brother that she raised and lied to right next to him: she's allowed to thrive and remain in her position STILL without that question or any apparent explanation of ANY of those nuances or her part in putting him in charge in taht mental and emotional state; well after the fact and into 2013 two years later.

When she refers to that massive erasure of not just who but WHAT he is? Frigga almost always shifts that blame fully onto Odin in her dialogue; and steers as hard as she can away from words reminding the viewer that, she was Odin's wife and partner: through all of that. Instead, it's always 'your father' or 'he' rather than 'we' or 'he and I.'

Which is very blatantly another portion of Loki's response in this same scene when asked 'And am I not your mother..?' because, he's right in every form of the answer.

It's -possible- that she was being honest about her relationship with Loki, at least later on? But it's -not- very -probable-, or believable at that stage.. and her lack of self awareness and ownership of her part even when alone with him in Thor 2011 (not to mention carrying that on a year later in Dark World) makes that very hard to miss as a thing in truth: especially with the given facts being that this went on for over a thousand years.. and still over all that time she didn't have enough regard, respect, or love for her supposed favorite son, to even hint at any of his origins even after she taught him to shapeshift or cast illusions herself, to change the outcome.

And again.. no one raised a question as to why. Or held her accountable. No one questioned the one person in the royal family who was capable of taking Loki's place on the throne back in 2011 either.

Given how little we see women in honored fighting positions in Asgardian culture, and are given the very blatant information between the films that it's been literal centuries since even since a female fighting force has been a thing, PLUS the literal views we've been given with Sif as the only woman in the training yard in modern eras...?

It's pretty likely that raised-in bit of social ugly is pretty well dug into their society as well.

Again and that said: figuring out how a lady rather than a fighter might run her life, or fit in at those upper tiers without picking up a weapon: has been put on some display.

Asgard has a very wonky, heavy half ren/medieval approach to their upper heirarchy on display, complete with ladies in waiting (which Tony takes a little off jab at in GROUNDED too lol,) and healers especially seeming to be a majorly female profession.

There wasn't a single dude in that scene with Jane that wasn't either royalty or a guard, if you look at it again. Every single one of the healers is a woman.)

That mentioned, another place to look for examples, are again: Frigga's personal surroundings. And Dark World gives us a good look at those.

One thing to note, is that besides the healers: pretty much every Asgardian lady has armor in some portion of their wardrobe. Whether that's a breastplate, vanbraces (wrist/forearm,) gorgets (neck guard, like Loki's) or something else to accompany their dresses.

There are moments when we see her and them without armor pieces (or in some scenes with even fewer of them at least, like teh carefully disguised set in the top gif) but for the most part those outfits are reserved for really important parties that are the equivalent of formal-dress parties: in which case we can see that even Sif doesn't escape from the expectation of wearing a literal dress: though even then.. hers is the odd one out of the others shown/on display in the room as far as style:

Which tells us a couple of things, but first and foremost and something that makes sense in their culture: is that even if they're not mainline fighters, and having been invaded enough to need and upkeep those shields in the first place?

Other than fancy events/celebrations and or coronations? The armor pieces are definitely as much local every day cultural fashion thing, as they are functional in some cases.

It's pretty likely that even the ladies of the court at least know and are expected to upkeep at least minor skills in self defense, if not the defense of their own homes: and are probably taught to do so from a very young age. They're not going to be as good at it outside of their own personal territory, or a territory they know well like say the Valkyrie were supposed to be, as the equivalent of a special forces military task unit: but they probably are expected.

Another side note..? This above, is ultimately; also among the forgiving reasons I don't question why Frigga went to the main palace outside of her taking Jane with her when she went. As Queen and lady of the house under that form of society, it absolutely passes without Jane in tow. However.. without Jane in tow, there's also the bit she couldn't have known at the time; that the writers did of course .. the fact that any of the elves were even alive and kicking. [And gee; thanks for that again Bor, lol! like father like son, I guess? Bor, his son, and said son's wife DO seem to have a habit of -not- telling their kids about world and universe ending enemies being alive after the fact, don't they? coughcoughHELAcoughcough.. XD]

There is one other bit, besides that: that we do get about the society from all that too though. At least about the surviving upper echelons of the ruling class: and that is?

That Odin had a really tight reign on the upper royals and his fighting forces surviving the Great Wars as King.. lips and all: unless amongst the entirety of their armies, council, other generals (besides Hela, which HOO is that a whole conversation unto itself Loki and Laufey related when you look at that timeline with Hela in it omg..) and pretty much every lady in waiting, servants .. or just other lords and ladies? Just didn't notice a surprise baby that the Queen -didn't- give birth to, was randomly being presented as a new baby prince to the Asgardian Empire. Which.. is next to impossible; especially when you take into account that this wasn't another country he took this kid from, or a society unfamiliar with magic: he took Loki from an entirely differing species and PLANET elsewhere in the universe in the middle of the last battle of one of the largest and bloodiest wars in their generation: and forced passing him off as his own.

Even if, he did manage that; maybe sequestering his wife and passing Loki off as a twin or some shizz? Someone if not a whole lot of someones probably knew.. but especially the healer or healers who would have treated any wounds throughout Loki's lifetime.

We could, almost say that they could have presented him as an adopted Asgardian kid.. and maybe he and Frigga did, to some of them on the sly to help keep it under wraps.. but that doesn't fit how their relationship is depicted, shown or talked about prior to or even after the reveal of his species and bloodline at all, either.

And that still wouldn't pass the first time this kid hurt himself, or was injured in battle under the scrutiny of an uninformed healer's ability in that society, with magic and high tech and more very much at their fingertips and in their alliances and enemies too, to be recognized.

Meaning, at least a portion of the populace closest to the crown, and especially those types old enough to have taken part in the last of the Great Wars or tending Loki as he grew and fought and more as a captive prince: were either just as complacent or, shut up by either if not both portions of the crown house really damned fast and really efficiently likely through threat, exile or worse. Keep in mind, the Great Wars and especially that one was still freshly finished, and they made a great show of making sure we knew there would be problems having the future ruler of the enemy they had been killing for an un-foretold length of time next to the crown in how even mention of Jotnar was allowed to form in Asgardian society: through Loki's words, through Thor's reactions and words, through Odin and through Frigga too.

The hate was strong enough even a thousand years plus of Odin's rule with Loki as prince later, that Thor thought it was A-Okay to go ahead and invade the planet and restart that war, against the literal warnings not just from every single person around him before he did it: and not just warned but told outright by his father and the King 'don't you fuckin' dare' well before even that.

That.. is the kind of society and expectations, an Asgardian Lady would have been raised into and led by along with the rest.

All that said, this is getting long; and there are metas rather than canon they come from that I could mention regarding Vanaheim as the most prevalent colony of Asgardians/partial Asgardians too, but.. we don't get a whole lot of them or their off world society other than to know that Odin doesn't care about them NEARLY as much: or at least not enough to even provide them defensive cannons or other defenses that Asgard otherwise VERY clearly has and has had for literal ages as put on display in the Dark World.

Being a woman in that society would probably be a very, well...

Probably, brainwashed to accept a lowered expectation of self worth over all, without the ability to fight on a greater tier than just home and self defense. And those who don't fall into those already asserted social standards would definitely be outliers if not outcasts. We have Loki himself and how Frigga's skills are viewed and worded even by her own family, as example of that.

So.. that's a lot to keep in mind but.. yeah. It is there, and more that; I probably haven't touched or missed while in the process of going on and explaining that.

For Sigyn though, for me: I do have some planned for her but as she doesn't exist in the MCU and adapting her would for me have to take all of that in mind: that is being approached very back burner for late Vestibule 2 (after Mixology) and Vestibule 3 as what ultimately boils down to an OC version of her. In part because I like that character in real life lore, and Skadi's character: and when I do write for them both.. I want to try and convert them to fit into the MCU base in a way that feels right to me.

Which is going to be rough when getting into more detailed versions of stuff like the very brief mentions of Skadi's tale and others I've already done in fics like Simon Says/Bail: given the MCU is twice removed from actual Norse Mythos; being Asgard in the MCU is more loose in being based off of Marvel, which in turn is then just as loose in the comics' basing their characters from that Norse Mythos.

Portal to My Heart (Book 1.5) Chapter Four

Loki x Reader

Chapter Four: During the Escape

Summary: (Y/N) and Loki team up with Thor to take care of Malekith and escape together from Asgard.

(Y/N) breathed a sigh of relief as her portal worked long enough before closing. She wasn’t sure what she was doing, but she knew that she felt better having given a mourning lantern to Loki so that he could say goodbye to his mother just as the rest of Asgard did.

“(Y/N) (L/N)?” Fandral walked into the room. Several guards stood behind him.

(Y/N) turned to him. “Yeah?”

“You need to come with me,” said Fandral.

“What?” said (Y/N).

“The King has instructed me to bring you to a secure location,” said Fandral.

(Y/N) had worked at SHIELD long enough to know what that really meant. “I’m not some prisoner. You can’t lock me up here.”

“I have orders,” said Fandral. “Please don’t make this difficult.” He stepped up to (Y/N) as she glared. “Please.” His voice went low so only (Y/N) could hear. “Thor is waiting for us. But we must go as if we are following orders.”

(Y/N) blinked before playing along. “Fine. But I’m not happy.”

Fandral nodded. “Guards, go along to your posts. I will escort Lady (Y/N) to her new chambers.”

Fandral and (Y/N) entered a small tavern to find Sif and Volstagg sitting with Thor. Heimdall stood behind him.

“So, what are we planning?” said (Y/N).

“Are you sure you wish to join us? You’re not a trained warrior,” said Sif.

“I’m not letting the Dark Elves continue to hurt people,” said (Y/N). “I won’t just stand here useless.

“Good. We need all the help we can get,” said Thor.

(Y/N) nodded and sat down. “Alright, so what’s happening?”

Thor cleared his throat. “What I’m about to ask of you is treason of the highest order. Success will bring us exile, and failure shall mean our death. Malekith knew the Aether was here. He can sense its power. If we do nothing, he will come for it again but this time lay waste to all of Asgard. We must move Jane off-world. The Bifrost has been shut down, and the Tesseract locked away in the vault. (Y/N)’s powers are not strong enough to travel worlds.”

(Y/N) shrugged as if saying “yeah, sorry, can’t help it.”

“There are other paths off Asgard,” said Heimdall. “Ways known only to a few.”

“One, actually,” said Thor.

Sif’s eyes flicked to Thor, Fandral shifted uneasily, (Y/N) rolled her eyes, and Volstagg said, “No.”

“Loki?” Sif stared at Thor. “He’s tried to kill you multiple times. Why would he work with you?”

Fandral raised an eyebrow. “If you think one of us can convince him, you’re more out of your mind than I thought.”

“Lady (Y/N) could speak to him,” said Heimdall.

Everyone’s eyes went to (Y/N), and she blinked. “Me? Why?” Heimdall’s golden eyes bore into her, and she realized Heimdall had the ability to watch her and Loki visit. He knew they spoke frequently. “…Fine.”

“Send the Midgardian to speak to Loki? How will that work?” said Volstagg.

“I guess I’ll just have to figure it out.” (Y/N) huffed. “You know, seeing how the fate of Asgard rests on me getting Loki to help us.”

Thor nodded. “And once we have Loki, here’s what we’ll do…”

(Y/N) walked into the empty dungeon. Her dress hung just above her ankles, cut roughly so it didn't trail along the ground. She didn't want to trip during a run or fight.

“(Y/N).” Loki laced his hands behind his back as (Y/N) approached him.

“Loki.” (Y/N) gazed back at him evenly.

“What a pleasure to see you,” said Loki. “And so soon after a crisis.”

(Y/N) sighed. “Loki, you didn’t put the mourning lantern in your illusion.”

Loki paused before stepping back. The green illusion faded, and the entire room changed. The furniture was in smashed pieces. The food and rink lay trampled on the ground. Loki was slumped against the wall in just his tunic and pants, barefoot and wild-haired. His gaze was faraway and pained. The mourning lantern lay beside him. It glowed faintly.

“Now you see me,” murmured Loki.

(Y/N)’s gaze softened, and she walked around his cell to the barrier closest to him. “Oh, Loki.”

“Did she suffer?” asked Loki softly.

“No. It was quick,” said (Y/N). “She protected my and Jane’s lives.” She looked at Loki “She died with honor.” Her gaze darkened. “But that doesn’t make it better. And it doesn’t mean Malekith should get away with it.”

Loki’s eyes met (Y/N)’s. “No. He shouldn’t.” His voice shared the same darkness.

“Do you want a chance to right that wrong?” said (Y/N).

“Go on,” said Loki.

“I have a way for us to get revenge,” said (Y/N). “You just need to help me and a few other people get off Asgard.”

Loki considered for just a moment. He collected himself and chuckled. With a smirk, he looked at (Y/N). “You must be truly desperate to come to me for help.”

“Well, you’re going to have to deal with me, Thor, and some others, so you’re just as desperate,” said (Y/N).

“What makes you think you can trust me?” said Loki, not acknowledging that (Y/N) was right. He was willing to work with anyone, even his brother, in order to kill the man murdered his mother.

“I don’t,” said (Y/N). “But I know that you loved your mother. I think she was one of the only people you ever cared about. So I know that you’ll stick by us until we beat Malekith.” She narrowed her eyes. “However, try anything, and I finish what Hulk started.”

“Hm.” Loki smirked in amusement. “When do we start?”

“Now.” Thor announced his presence by swinging his hammer into the device keeping the barrier of Loki’s cell up. The alarm blared, and Loki stood, summoning his clothing and armor once more.

They quickly made their way out of the dungeons, darting through the columns of the palace as guards ran past.

“I expect this rebellion from (Y/N)—” (Y/N) gave him the middle finger “—but you, Brother? Unexpected,” said Loki, grinning. “So clandestine. Are you sure you wouldn’t rather just punch your way out?”

“If you keep speaking, I might,” said Thor.

Loki held up his hands. “Fine. As you wish. I’m not even here.” Green light swirled over him, and he became an Asgardian guard. “Is this better?”

“If you were quiet and played the role,” remarked (Y/N).

“Still, we could be less conspicuous,” said Loki. He transformed back, and an illusion formed around Thor, changing him into Sif. “Much better, I think.”

“It will hurt no less when I kill you in this form,” said Thor.

“And not hiding your or me makes this just as suspicious as the three of us walking out normally,” added (Y/N).

“Why would we hide you?” Loki smirked at her, and she rolled her eyes. “Very well. Perhaps you prefer your new companions, Thor, given that you seem to like them so much.” His magic turned Thor back to himself, switched (Y/N) to Black Widow, and changed himself to Captain America.

(Y/N) pulled at the tight black suit and grimaced. “No thanks.”

“Oh, this is much better!” said Loki in Captain America’s voice. “Ooh. This costume is a bit much. So tight. But the confidence…I can feel the righteousness surging. Hey, do you want to have a rousing discussion about truth? Honor? Patriotism? God bless Ameri—!”

Thor pushed Loki against a column and slapped a hand over his mouth. The magic flew away, leaving (Y/N) and Loki as they were.

Loki pushed Thor’s hand away. “What?”

“Guards, idiot,” said (Y/N), gesturing to the two men walking by at the end of the hall.

Loki looked at Thor. “You could at least furnish me with a weapon. My daggers, something.” Thor nodded and reached back for something on his belt. Loki grinned. “At last. A little common sense.” The cuffs clicked shut before Loki knew what was happening. (Y/N) smirked at his bewildered expression as he looked at them.

“And I thought you liked tricks,” said Thor impishly.

“Sif and Jane are here,” said (Y/N), nodding as from another entrance to the hall both women strode forward.

Jane’s eyes widened. “You’re…!” She pointed at Loki.

“I’m Loki, you may have heard of me,” said Loki.

Jane slapped him across the face before he could do anything. “That was for New York!”

(Y/N) burst out laughing. “I wish that was me!”

Loki grinned. “I like her.”

“There they are! Take them!” Guards ran towards them, finally having been alerted. “On my command!”

“I’ll hold them off,” said Sif. “You go with them.”

“Thank you,” said Thor. He turned and guided Jane towards the entrance.

Sif placed her sword against Loki’s throat in warning. “Betray him, and I kill you.”

Loki chuckled. “It’s good to see you too, Sif.”

“Come on,” said (Y/N), taking Loki’s arm and pulled him with her as they made their way after Thor.

They arrived at Volstagg and the knife-shaped ship of the Dark Elves that had crashed in the throne hall.

“I will give you as much time as I can,” said Volstagg.

“Thank you, my friend,” said Thor, shaking his hand. He walked past, and Jane nodded.

Volstagg pushed Loki back by the chest for a moment. “If you even think about betraying him—”

“—You’ll kill me?” Loki smirked. “Evidently, there will be a line.”

“Well, you have a terrible habit of pissing everyone off,” said (Y/N), pulling him forward again. Loki glanced down at her hand around his elbow.

Within the ship, Thor began pressing on different buttons of the strange console. Nothing happened, and he pressed harder in frustration.

“Whatever you’re doing, Brother, I suggest you do it faster,” said Loki as the sounds of fighting outside began.

“Shut up, Loki,” muttered Thor.

“You must have missed something,” said Loki.

“No, I didn’t,” said Thor. “I’m pressing every button on this thing.”

“No, don’t hit it, just press it gently,” said Loki.

“I am pressing it gently!” Thor fairly slammed his hand on the console. “It’s not working!”

“Move.” (Y/N) pushed the hulking man of muscles out of the way and glanced over the console.

Every hacker and SHIELD tech specialist instinct burned through her as she followed the patterns of controls across the console. She had it. (Y/N) calmly pressed a button and pushed a lever forward. The room lit up with blue light as a holographic screen came up. Jane, Thor, and Loki stared at her, and she shrugged.

“I have spent a lot of time hacking into technology that I shouldn’t,” said (Y/N). “And it seems everyone gets similar ideas about design.” She gestured to two handrests. “Those are steering.”

“Great!” Thor stepped forward and urged the ship forward.

It lurched, and (Y/N) stumbled. Loki caught her, keeping her on her feet. The ship swerved around, destroying a dozen pillars of the throne room.

“I think you missed a column,” said Loki.

“Shut up!” said Thor.

(Y/N) glanced down at Loki’s bound hands, still resting on her waist. Her attention was quickly taken as the ship crashed out of the palace. They swerved wildly through the city, and poor Jane held tightly onto a side console to keep from falling while Loki kept (Y/N) up.

“Look, why don’t you let me take over?” said Loki. “I’m clearly the better pilot.”

“Or me! I know how to use this stuff!” said (Y/N).

“Is that right? Well, out of the three of us, which one can actually fly?” said Thor.

The ship swerved as guard towers fired, and they dove into a canyon above a river. Beside the group, Jane’s eyes rolled into her head, and she collapsed.

“Oh, dear. Is she dead?” said Loki matter-of-factly.

“Jane!” cried Thor.

She groaned. “I’m okay…” She didn’t have the strength to get up, though.

Behind them, several ships popped up, and in his hurry, Thor sliced through a tower (abandoned and ornamental, luckily). “Not a word,” he said before Loki could criticize him.

Still, that wouldn’t keep Loki from remarking on the tails. “Now they’re following us.”

The ships fired, and their own ship shook.

“Now they’re firing at us,” said Loki.

“Thank you for the commentary, Loki, it’s not at all distracting!” said Thor. (Y/N) snickered.

They slammed into a tunnel and cut the head of a towering statue off.

“Well done,” said Loki. “You just decapitated your grandfather.” (Y/N) smothered a grin.

Thor sped out across the lakes of Asgard, avoiding the towers and ships firing at them.

“You know, this is wonderful,” said Loki. “This is a tremendous idea. Let’s steal the biggest, most obvious ship in the universe and escape in that! Flying around the city, smashing into everything in sight so everyone can see us! It’s brilliant, Thor! It’s truly brilliant!”

Thor shoved Loki out the door, and he yelped in surprise. (Y/N) leaned out to see Loki land on the flying ship Fandral had procured for their escape below.

“You’re next!” called Thor over the whoosh of wind.

“I know, I know, give me a moment to contemplate that I might die!” said (Y/N), tensing at the edge of the door. I better hope my powers give me some extra durability! She jumped.

(Y/N) hit the ship hard. Luckily, her powers did seem to have heightened what her body could take, but her gracefulness, not so much. (Y/N) cursed as she hit the deck and tripped backwards and hit the side, nearly falling to the ground but being stopped by Loki. (Y/N) groaned and shook her head to clear it after the rush, but Loki’s eyes glanced over her. His grip on her tightened for a moment before releasing her.

The thud of Thor landing with Jane in his arms took their attention. Thor gently laid Jane down a roll of fabric.

“You lied to me,” said Loki. “I’m impressed.”

“I’m glad you’re pleased,” said Thor. “Now, do as you promised and take us to your secret pathway.”

Loki took the steering stick ((Y/N) studied computers, not boats) and gripped it tightly. He smirked, and the ship sped up across the water. (Y/N) stood at the back of the ship, holding onto the sides. Behind them, an Asgardian ship arrived and shot at them.

“Our friends are back,” said (Y/N), and Loki swerved the ship back and forth to avoid the shots. He drove the ship up, and it flew instead of skimming the water.

“Fandral,” said Thor.

“Right,” said Fandral. He took a rope into his hands. “For Asgard.” He jumped from the ship and swung on the rope to the Asgardian. He too battled for Thor to make it out.

Loki drove the ship into the mountains surrounding Asgard, leaving the populated lands behind. He turned towards two towering cliffs.

“Uh…” (Y/N) stared at the tiny cleft they were approaching.

“Loki,” said Thor warningly.

“If it were easy, everyone would do it,” said Loki.

“Are you mad?!” demanded Thor as they zoomed towards the tiny cleft in the cliff.

“Probably,” said Loki with a wild grin.

If that grin wasn’t hot, I’d punch him right now for being so ridiculous, thought (Y/N). “You better keep us alive!” She gripped the side of the ship beside Loki, and Thor crouched and covered Jane.

The ship hit the small cave, screeching along the sides of it as they banged through. Thor held Jane tightly as sparks flew and turned to rainbow, Bifrost-like streaks. (Y/N) glanced up at Loki, and he smirked at her confidently. Somehow, that assured (Y/N) she would survive. The Bifrost-like sparks lit up the world around the group, and they rushed into the brightness.

The ship popped out into a desolate wasteland of smoky clouds covering the sky and rocks strewn across barren earth.

“Tada~” announced Loki as the ship banged across the ground before steadying in the ground.

“Your driving sucks…” groaned (Y/N) from where she had fallen, rubbing her head.

“Jane?” Thor crouched by her, and Jane groaned, rolling over and closing her eyes. His eyes softened, and he covered her in a blanket to let her rest. Thor straightened and looked at (Y/N). “I know Midgardians can tire after such excitement. You may rest if needed.”

I could keep going, I’m not totally human anymore. Or, at least, my powers changed me. (Y/N) glanced around. “Alright.” But who says no to a nap? She lay down and closed her eyes, giving herself a moment after the terribly long day she’d had (and hey, visions were tiring). She knocked out in a second.

Thor and Loki sat back as Loki steered them calmly across the Dark World’s surface. He glanced at the Midgardians.

“What I could do with the power that flows through those veins,” said Loki.

“It would consume you, just as the Tesseract and the scepter did,” said Thor.

“Your Jane seems to be holding up right now,” said Loki. “For now.”

“She’s strong in ways you’d never know,” said Thor.

“Say goodbye,” said Loki.

“Not this day,” said Thor.

“This day, the next, a hundred years, it’s nothing,” said Loki. He stood and spoke cruelly, his own revenge against the way Thor abandoned him to his cell. “It’s a heartbeat. You’ll never be ready. The only woman whose love you’ve prized will be snatched from you.”

“And will that satisfy you?” said Thor.

“Satisfaction is not in my nature,” said Loki smoothly.

“Surrender is not in mine,” replied Thor.

“The son of Odin…” said Loki bitterly.

“No. Not just of Odin,” said Thor. “You think you alone were loved of Mother? You had her tricks, but I had her trust.”

“Trust?” demanded Loki. “Was that her last expression?” He glared at Thor. “Trust? When you let her die?”

“What help were you in that cell?!” cried Thor.

“Who put me there?” hissed Loki. “Who put me there?!”

“You know damn well!” Thor shoved him back. “You know damn well who!” He reared back to punch Loki but paused, breathing heavily. He let go and stepped back. “She wouldn’t want us to fight.”

“Well…she wouldn’t exactly be shocked,” said Loki.

Thor turned away and sighed, giving up the subject. It was too painful for both. He glanced back at Loki. “Insult me and remind me of Jane’s mortal life all you want. Let us love Mother together and get revenge for her.” Thor paused. “And remember that you have something to lose, too.”

Loki paused. “What?”

“(Y/N) is a Midgardian.” Thor turned away once more.

Loki frowned and glanced at (Y/N). Yes. Time would pass. (Y/N) had shown no sign of her abilities changing her lifespan, and there was no way to test for it, so time would eventually steal her away. It would steal Loki’s friend away.

Loki blinked.

Loki’s friend. Yes. She was his friend. She was a person he…cared for.

At first you wanted to spend time with your Best Friend Jane - you missed her

She is with Thor all the time and you got recently together with Loki

Maybe it wasn't a good Idea after everything that happend but you still wanted Jane to know that Loki changed - you suggested a Double Date - like a Movie Night at home

Jane and Thor discussed it for a while but then agreed to it

You really hoped this will work out so you could catch up with Jane and you really wish the Brothers get along without fighting

The day finally came - you cooked for Dinner , Jane brought Wine - after eating and drinking together - everyone sat down on the Couch, Jane and you are sitting in the middle

" What are we watching? " Jane asked "well ..I thought ,we could watch a movie about Norse Mythology..it might be interesting" you answered "yes good idea let's see how our Boyfriends react to their Counterparts" you replied

At the beginning of the Movie they showed Thor with long red Hair , a matching Beard and bushy Eyebrows "Whaaat ,that should be me ? " Thor complained

Worthy (2015) | Chapter 19, "Sacrifice"

Disappearing sporadically in public spaces quickly becomes Cora Dempsey's least concerning problem when suddenly she captures the attention of the forming Avengers Initiative, the World Security Council, and Asgard's fallen prince all in one week. And the universe is only just getting started with her.

Worthy is a slow-burn SFW Marvelverse (films) romance between Loki and a female OC. For additional details on what canon is used, see the Prologue post.

Summary: The Dark Elves launch their assault on Asgard. The royal family suffers a horrific loss. Cora attempts to comfort Loki and is met with blame and backlash.

The palace was in a state of chaos within seconds of the first ship exploding to pieces and hurtling toward the water, which caused a bang that reverberated through the walls. Up from the floor, rumbles of activity were still causing tremors and the shouting was getting louder from beyond the staircase.

Cora was stepping past the window to get a better look of what was happening when Thor rocketed through the stone archway and she had to dodge to not get slammed across the corridor. "My apologies," he said hurriedly over his shoulder before running to the stairs to join the fray, looking exhilarated by the prospect of a fight, but simultaneously wary of—what she could only suppose was—Loki being the cause.

"No problem," Cora murmured a little breathlessly, feeling ridiculous saying that when there was most certainly a problem. Numerous problems, in fact, coming at them from all sides.

Sif ran back up from the dungeon then and grabbed Cora's elbow, towing her down the hallway. "We need to find the Queen. Thor's apparently left his woman with her and I do not want Frigga to put herself in danger trying to protect the mortal," she said with a rushed tone.

"Look, I know you're jealous, but I don't think Jane—" They dodged in an alcove when the palace shook with an explosion, which sounded like it came from just on the other side of the wall. "—is our biggest problem right now."

Sif grimaced and nodded, looking sheepish. "You are right."

"I usually am," Cora teased, which made Sif smirk even as they sprinted down the hallway to try and locate Frigga. "Do you even know where we're going?"

"She was at the west balcony last I saw her," Sif shouted over a roar of noise below the floor. It sent chills up Cora's spine. "I figure if we head that way, we should run into her."

"How long ago was this?" Cora shouted back.

"Not too long, trust my judgment, woman!"

"Never said I didn't—oh, now what's happening?!"

They skidded to a stop at the next window and Sif glanced between Cora and the golden transparent field that was climbing up to surround the palace before realizing that of course the girl didn't know what it was. "It is a shield, Cora. Our shield. We will be safe n—"

The words had no sooner begun to leave her mouth when a ship exploded against the shield and the growing reinforcement paused before beginning to fade back down. "It looks like the same stuff the prison walls are made from," Cora observed. "How…"

"Someone must have stalled the core," Sif reasoned apprehensively, looking past Cora to the window where the fleet was closing in. "We do not have much time."

"Then let's hurry," Cora suggested when she followed Sif's gaze, grabbing the goddess's hand and sprinting for the end of the passage, which opened up to the throne room. "Can we cut through here?"

"Yes, through there," Sif confirmed, nodding toward a door opposite the one they were about to breach. Just as they set foot in the throne room, the main entrance caved in. Stone fragments hurtled in large clouds of debris through the air and the ear-splitting crunches of shattering pillars deafened everyone in the room. "Go!"

Cora and Sif sprinted through the hordes of Asgardian soldiers who had assembled at the forefront to defend their king. She could tell Sif wanted to stay and fight with them, but knew her priority at the moment lay with finding the Queen and making sure she was safe. Then she could take part in the battle at hand. They barely made it through the doorway before a pillar came down on their heads, blocking the door behind them.

Not stopping because they simply didn't have time, the two continued to run. "Frigga!" Cora shouted, hoping if they sounded some kind of alarm, she'd hear them and they wouldn't be running blindly. However, the answering sound was another blast ahead of them that shot pieces of rock through the narrow passage back at them. Sif tugged Cora down as she ducked, putting her shield up over both of them to fend off most of the debris.

She stood and glanced to the side an an old suit of armor, tugging the sword free and holding it out to Cora. "Not how I would have started you out on a real sword, but we don't have much choice," she noted as she glanced down the hall to note that the intruding ship's hatch was slowly opening, a red glow radiating from the inside. Cora glanced between her and the hilt before taking the blade from her, swallowing a little hard.

The beings that emerged from the belly of the craft were straight out of a horror flick. They looked like they were wearing weird variations of hockey masks and the rest of their armor was black as could be with patches of silver plating. The eyeholes of their masks looked like skull sockets. "What the hell are they?" Cora asked under her breath, not daring to take her eyes off them.

"Elves. The Dark Elves from Svartalfheim," Sif said hurriedly in a hushed tone. "And they have guns, rush them!"

The words had no sooner left her mouth when they raised their weapons to fire and thin red beams projected from the barrels. "Just like practice!" Sif shouted over the sound the guns made and the roars of noise from the blocked off throne room behind them. They dodged their way through and though Cora wasn't sure she was ready for this, she knew she had to be.

She gave herself over to instinct and dodged a blow from the butt of one elf's gun, bringing up the blade and slamming it home through a gap in its armor. It staggered and then fell and, at first, Cora was horrified at herself. Then she heard Sif yell, "It's kill or be killed, Cora! You are doing fine," as the war goddess cut down two more of their attackers.

Cora swallowed dryly before pulling her blade free, her eyes catching swiftly on some kind of projectile one of the elves threw toward Sif. There was a pulsating red light in its crevices and Cora immediately likened it to a grenade, urgently shouting, "Sif, dodge left, now!"

Sif did as she said immediately and just seconds after, the grenade-like object deployed and a nearby elf got pulled into the blast, though the explosion did not work as Cora expected it to. She watched in disbelief as the creature was tugged into the force and compacted with whatever debris the grenade's field could grab, the sounds of crunching bone and warping armor echoing through the narrow passage.

Cora grimaced visibly, but she detached herself quickly, going back to defending herself in every way Sif had taught her in all their training sessions. Battered and burned from shots out of the elves' guns, Sif and Cora eventually cleared the hall, though the battles throughout still raged on. "Come on," Sif said breathily as she slid between the wall and the ship's wreckage, heading toward the opening behind it.

Cora followed hurriedly, the both of them bolting from the corridor when they saw a couple more of the armored bastards at the end of the next hall. Sif started to run at them, but Cora tugged a gun from one of the elf corpses littering the floor and cocked it, shooting them down. Sif gaped a little. "Their weapons are surprisingly similar to ours," she explained briefly as she leaned the heavy sword against the wall, ditching it and keeping the gun as they ran along the hall.

Sif stopped suddenly and threw her arm out to stop Cora as well. "What?" Cora asked breathlessly.

"Listen," Sif said softly and they heard an echoing sound of thunder in the floor above them. "That came from the Queen's personal chambers…" The dread in her voice spurred them both forward up the next staircase, Sif in the lead.

Cora followed her all the way down the hallway which opened up before them as soon as they hit the last stair. She nearly ran into Sif when she skidded to a stop in front of an open archway, paling at whatever she saw inside. Cora stepped forward to get a look, her heart plummeting when she saw Odin on his knees, cradling Frigga in his arms as blood soaked the side of her gown. Jane and Thor were inside, Jane attempting to comfort him as he looked down at the floor, two parts rage and one part sorrow. That one part would grow to envelop the others, as Cora knew very well.

Her throat tightened as she looked back at Frigga's lifeless form, shaking her head as she respectfully averted her gaze. She noticed Sif was looking at Thor and the two eventually locked gazes, utmost apology and sadness upon the female warrior's face. The prince gave a faint nod before he leaned down and murmured something to Jane, who hesitated before leaving the room and heading to the staircase. Thor moved to kneel beside his father, heaving a pained sigh before he gently picked up his mother, carrying her from the room.

Cora and Sif stepped aside, Sif wiping away a few stray tears as Cora stood, stoic but grieving in her own way as well. She softly touched Sif's arm before looking to Odin, walking inside and stopping a few feet away. "Is there anything I can do?" she asked softly.

Odin was silent as he got up, but shook his head briefly before he left the chamber without a word. He didn't look the powerful king that Cora had seen him as upon her arrival and ever since; he looked like an old man, sad and newly alone. It broke her heart and, as she glanced toward the scarlet stain on the stone floor, she felt the new loss grow heavy in her chest, grouping in with older scars.

Cora snuck away from the funeral that night when everyone was engulfed in their quiet grief. She'd been standing toward the back, leaving the family and those who had known Frigga longest to their privacy. She had also been standing there so no one would notice her slip off back toward the palace, crossing from the coastline back to its golden reaches.

She hadn't had much to feel bitter toward Odin about. Especially not in a time like this. However, she now had one thing, she realized as she moved through the entryway as glowing orbs of starlight glided toward the heavens in her wake, Frigga's essence dispersing to join them. The fact that Odin had not allowed Loki out of his cell long enough to attend his own mother's funeral was near-criminal. He knew what she meant to him. Everyone knew. There was no excuse.

She wasn't going to leave him alone this night. Not completely. Cora knew how dangerous that could be and she also knew how aggravating it could be to be smothered. She'd experienced it all and she was getting some serious traumatic flashbacks from her own parents' deaths, like the ones she'd had for two years after in the form of nightmares and panic attacks. In fact, they were also similar to the ones she'd been experiencing about the morning she was put into a deep freeze since the first night she'd laid her head to rest in Asgard. She was lucky she'd already known how to handle those—there was enough for her to deal with at present without figuring out how to talk herself through mild panic attacks all over again in the middle of the night.

Cora moved fluidly down the stairs this time, knowing the steps by now, and stepped from the stairwell hesitantly, leaning around the corner to gauge what she was walking into before she walked into it. Loki paced idly in his cell, the furnishings all in their usual place, not a hair out of turn. Her brow creased a little and she startled slightly when he stopped and uttered, "Brave of you to come down here now."

She sighed and stepped out, looking up at him as he turned around and approached the barrier between them. "Loki…," she murmured, quieting as she pursed her lips and shook her head. "I know it will never quite cover it, but I'm so sorry." Cora hated saying she was sorry about death; it was so incomplete and so casual, such a cop-out, but what else was there to say? She was sorry. Deeply. In ways he didn't even understand.

He was silent a moment as he looked down at her, towering over her more than usual with the cell elevation. "As you should be," he said flippantly. "But are you really?"

Cora froze, speechless. She was only able to reply with a bewildered, "…What do you mean?" She heard an accusation in his tone, but she didn't know what it could be for.

"Well, you were her lapdog, were you not?" he reasoned chidingly. "There every other time but when she needed you most."

"Loki, this is not my fault," Cora argued calmly, her jaw tense as she shook her head. "I know how terrible you feel, but this—"

"This? This!" He slammed his fists against the barrier, light rippling from where impact was made and slight burns lancing over his skin. "This is what stopped me from saving her! What was stopping you? Self-preservation? Stupidity? Fear?"

"Stop," Cora warned him, holding it together as he raged before her out of what she knew was grief. Blinding, terrifying, heart-wrenching grief. But she couldn't bear the brunt of much more.

He paused with faux calm as he looked down at her. "Look at you. Amending things. Do you think you can possibly fix this? Now?" Loki shook his head, slanting a gaze down at her as a cold sneer curved his lips. "You just can't save anyone, can you?"

He could have rammed a metal rod through her gut and it would've hurt less. Her insides iced over and she just stopped everything, her throat feeling raw with swallowed anguish. Cora's gaze dropped to the floor and she struggled to maintain her composure for just a moment before she gave up and shook her head, simply leaving without another word.

Loki watched her go, listening to the footsteps patter up the staircase before he released his illusion. The cleanliness of his cell faded into disarray and "he" disappeared from behind the glass, sitting against the west wall of the prison. Blood dripped from a cut on his foot as he stared blindly toward the opposite wall, his eyes slowly closing as he gritted his teeth.

He'd regretted the words even as they'd fallen from his lips and there was no taking them back. He was angry, bitter, rage-fueled, and broken, but this was not her fault. Loki had noticed the bruises and cuts on her skin and could only figure he was lucky she hadn't been slain as well.

"You might want to take the stairs to the left."

His jaw clenched until it pained him and a scream of pure rage tore from his throat, vibrating through his frame until he lost his breath and fell back against the wall, breathing raggedly as he entertained a sensation which felt like someone digging their fingers between his ribs, giving one painful pull after another in effort to break him open.

He almost wished they would.

You know I think mcu what make loki ',love strory' like like thor x Jane, thor and Jane meet like a day (well it's more like 3 days) then in love , but thye forget that thor and Jane showing interested to each other even Thor kind rude at first he listening Jane and Jane being skeptic about Thor being god/Alien she still nice to him , she didn't mocked him.

Then new marvel ship Jane(she hulk) x Matt (daredevil), Matt and Jane mert as enemy or rival in court, Jane even dislike hom (at first) then they start talking, Jane and Matt grow respect to each other then they growth interesting to each other, they are nice to each other, then they 'sleep together' after a day meet. I am not sure that they will be couple because Jane and Matt kind friend with benefits. Whatever I didn't care much , but Jane showing interest in Matt and want meet again (for relationship or just sex).

You see my point , respect, interested and nice are pillars for romance.

I really hate that someone said the reason Sylvie look rude and keep 'punch' loki it's because she had hard life and can't express her feeling, but she love loki 🙄 . But when loki did that they calling him evil, really? Double standard much

I meant I know loki had hard life and sometime he did extreme to showing it but we all know he do can loving, he even can be nice.

And Sylvie? I am sorry she not even trying be nice to loki at all, when even she need him, in void she still accused him to want throne. That is love? Then you are blind

The fact that some people justify Sylvie's disrespect of Loki by claiming she "had a rough life" and she "can't express herself the right way" so it's okay for her to mistreat him is so shocking I can't even express it.

Switch the genders. Just.... do that, and no one would be defending him. Not a single soul. Everyone would be calling it abusive. But since it's a woman doing it... that's apparently a-okay for these people. And the studios know it -- there's a reason Loki never raised a hand on Sif even though he would have been perfectly entitled to do so.

Their exchange in ep6 is not from someone who's had a tough life or has trauma. The manipulation tactic Sylvie uses on Loki is to consciously hurt him: the deflection, the gaslighting, the accusations... That behaviour is almost sadistic in how badly she tries to damage Loki's heart and mind. She knows very well what she's doing there.

And even if I buy the claim that she loves him (I don't believe she does, but fine, let's buy it for the sake of discussion), surely we can differentiate between emotions vs actions, right? Sylvie can feel whatever she wants and she can have all the trauma she wants... but her behaviour is NEVER justified.

If I squint I can see that they wanted her to be a character who had been damaged and didn't know how to love... but that requires the narrative to challenge her and her behaviour! She needs to learn from other people, she needs to have her actions called out. But the framing puts her on a pedestal and treats her like a Queen, so in the end everything she says and does is justified and she learns absolutely nothing, while at the same time we're told she and Loki have such a loving relationship.... well... I think NOT.

(none of these are fully fleshed out into words past these excerpts from my chats w a pal on discord... mostly, I just want to put them on the blog for later reckoning)

a. He was originally set to be betrothed to Lady Sif, though this was never really enforced or official so much as it was implied for as long as they've known each other. He'd have actually happily gone through with this if he hadn't met Jane??? but that's obvsly not what happened. He loves Jane and he would never choose another, ever.

b. Thor at no point ever expected he'd meet someone he'd fall in love with and trust with his heart, and he also sort of just… resigned himself to the fact that he won't marry for love, and that he WILL need to sire an heir whether he wants to or not (but he's super family coded so ofc he'd want kids of his own. It'd just suck for him a lot if it wasn't with someone he loves. he'd not blame the children for that, though.) / (more on that HERE)

c. Thor wasn't exactly a man-hoe or anything, but he is NOT a virgin in the slightest and lost that long before he met Jane, and this is from a variety of short relationships and the occasional fling… but when I say "short" and "occasional" I really do mean that… I don't think he'd get into relationships unless he felt there might be potential, but those never lasted more than a few days. He only would ever need those few to know if there could be something long-lasting.... (and usually they were done while he was out traveling the realms with the rest of his squad), I don't think he'd do flings and one-night-stands often but uh. Sometimes you really need a distraction and alcohol + s*x just kind of happen to go together in Thor's case bc he's an idiot and very careless with himself when it comes to… not being self-destructive. He'd find someone he okay with indulging, get drunk and have relations… but that said I think he'd always make it a point to treat those women nicely before, during, and especially afterwards, and he never left them high and dry bc that'd break his heart more than anything…. sooooo d. He's (unfortunately) used to being people's eye-candy and just kind of expects it at this point. When he's not perfect in the sense of "can do no wrong" or "a hero that always wins and can never be broken, no matter what comes his way", then it's just "he's so handsome and i boy am i having some Sinful Thoughts abt Prince Blondie over there" and thor just sort of …. He doesn't shrug it off, really. I think it actually makes him really uncomfortable. He just chooses to ignore it. Turn the other cheek, if you will, and give a wide berth and a blind eye, because in his mind there's nothing he can do about it =v=;;; To that end, he won't get terribly mad at anyone who does do express anything inappropriate towards him bc he DOES just expect it to happen. He reasons it away and elects to simply stay disengaged unless some lines are crossed. He does goes out of his way to dress modestly. Long sleeves when he can help it, always wearing some kind of shirt or tunic or armor, long pants (on earth, the most casual items of modern-day clothes he'll keep to are joggers. Never ever shorts.), boots, you name it. The most skin he feels comfortable showing are his arms w the sleeveless shirts but that's also partially out of it being easy to wear and great for training purposes. He actually doesn't like training w/o a shirt as an adult bc he has Learned ™️

e. Thor counts his flaws and ESPECIALLY whenever he sees or notices someone Oggling Him he'll go out of his way to remind himself of what they are. He's got a lazy eye that nobody comments on, his hair is darker than it was when he was a child, he's got callouses on his hands from the weapons he uses, when he was a child he had a gap between his front two teeth, he's got very thin scars from the occasional battle (not many, but they're there), - post!ragnarok there's also the addition of his lost right eye and eventual heterochromia … and he does it just to make a point to himself that he's .... not perfect, and if they can't spare the time to notice it then they're probably creatures to be wary of, in the long run

Did Thor know that Sif was in love with him? What did he think about that?

I believe he does know she has feelings for him. He'd find it unfortunate because he doesn't return them back.

That's such a juicy dynamic to have between Thor, Jane, and Sif but it's just dropped for no reason. One great scene in this regard is Frigga's funeral where Jane is standing right beside the Crown Prince with the royals because she is his girlfriend while Sif is all the way back with the citizens with tears in her eyes. Like I said. Juicy. Dynamic.

Sidenote, Jane NOT being a warrior was one of the reasons Thor x Jane fit so well. She was so different from the warrior people he was always surrounded by, he was drawn to her right away. And what did they do to her? They made her a warrior to fight alongside him (didn't even do it right because there were no team-ups, combos, or just cool shots of them fighting together the way we have that shot of Pep and Tony and AntMan and his partner together in Endgame because creating those moments requires basic competence). It's amazing how much the people in charge just don't understand the characters and their dynamics :)

Stark Supremacy vs The Resistance or Avengers:Dissembled

Tony Stark’s suit of armor around the world phase goes into complete and full effect. Get the right event to trigger it and I think Tony could be sent into Superman mode where he establishes a regime for the world’s protection. Tony takes full control of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the world by force. Captain America would rise up and lead a band full of heroes who are willing to do what’s right and stop Tony Stark and the regime.

Final boss fight. We choose between either Cap or Iron Man. If we choose Cap, then we fight Superior Iron Man, if we choose Iron Man, then Cap.

Avengeance:Fall Of Midgard. A villain like Norman Osborn or Red Skull sneaking into Asgard with Loki’s help to kill Odin and Lady Sif. Events would manipulate the death of Jane Foster. Blaming Asgard and Midgard for not dealing with Loki and his associates for their many schemes, Thor decides to make changes. Thor is broken and the once Mighty son of Odin, turns back to his old ways and becomes a despotic king of Asgard. Thor wages war on Midgard. Years later Thor has taken over the entire world as well as Asgard, and rules it with an iron fist. Villains that don’t agree with him or opposes him are seen as threats are sent to the negative zone. All mutants are forced to register to work for the regime or be depowered permanently and imprisoned.

Final boss fight is Odinforce Thor.

The Illuminati decides they must take power in order to save the world and metahumans/mutants from themselves. Those who bow down are saved, the villains will be put under mind control or sent to the negative zone and those who oppose them lead a Resistance.

T'Challa is assassinated by S.H.I.E.L.D. and attacks Wakanda and Wakanda demands justice. Shuri is consumed by grief and vengeance and it doesn't help that Killmonger and M'Baku are there whispering in her ears demanding Wakanda invade and take over. It's the might of Wakanda vs the world.

AVX:Half the X-Men are sent away on a mission and when they are away, a SHIELD led by vile Anti-Mutant leaders bombs the X-Mansion, killing a lot of X-Men and innocent mutant children and then the bombing of Genosha Charles Xavier begins to realize Magneto was right this entire time, Mutants must rise up and take over. The Avengers must stop them, but with many members going rogue to try and stop this war.

Something happens to cause Peter to remember. Lets say Paul(ugh) turns out to be a son of Mephisto there to keep Peter and MJ apart. He remembers what he did and he will go to any and all lengths to undo the stupid fucking deal. It's all out war on Mephisto, his realm, any and all demon or would be hero who dares to stand in his way.

Hail HYDRA. Basically, It's Marvel's version of The Savage Time. HYDRA builds a time machine and Red Skull goes back in time and has American Nazis kidnap Steve Rogers and has Steve indoctrinated by Nazis, he infiltrates the super soldier program, becomes Captain America and then kills everyone involved. Captain America becomes Captain Hydra. Then our heroes see the effects of this new horrifying world. Hydra rules the world. Red Skull is the infinite Fuherer and Captain Hydra is his right hand. Eventually they are almost caught, but the resistance leaders Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson come to their rescue. Our goal is to go back in time and stop this nightmare from becoming a reality.

Okay so... I've been working on SO MANY stories for a while now (plot bunnies drag me around from one to the next, through new stories, while I still work slowly on my current Ao3 fics), but decided to post a little here about everything (story wise) that's been going on with the fics being mainly worked on!

MCU - No Title yet, but is going to be an absolute TITAN of a story and series spanning from around 2007 pre-Iron Man 1 to Secret Invasion, with a lot of changes and a lot of additions (including Timeline event changes, Infinity War being an actual 3 to 4 month long war instead of 24hrs, PIETRO SURVIVES without Clint and the kid dying, Ultron is gonna be a far more badass boss fight with a moment of Avengers going "...Why do I hear boss music?", a handful of characters are going to be added to spice things up) and so much more! OC is gonna be Nat's kid via Red Room science (made in a lab) which will go over more in the fic (also other DNA is Yelena's, however there will be ZERO Nat x Yelena here. it will be Platonic "this is my child so i will cut a bitch if anyone hurts them" sort of parental situation. Yelena tends to be Aro/Ace in my fics being written, majority of the time, though there is an idea for an Ace!Yelena and Kate fic i have in mind, but that's for another story) - (OC -intersex afab- x Wanda Maximoff, and a lot of background pairings) - Inspired by "Smells Like Teen Spirit" version by Malia J, "Set It All Free" sang by Scarlett Johansson, and "Can't Help Falling in Love" version by Haley Reinhart

MCU - No Title Yet, a possible series of oneshots jumping around of Venom!NonBinary!Reader, Yelena Belova, and Kate Bishop platonic besties spreading some chaos and even possibly accidentally helping couples get together - (Background Wanda x Natasha, Pietro x Steve, Sam x Bucky, Tony x Pepper, Carol x Maria Rambeau, Peter Parker x MJ, Maria Hill x Sif, Thor x Jane) - Inspired by "Oath" by Cher Lloyd ft Becky G, "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga, and "Raise Your Glass" by P!nk

MCU - Waking Wanda - a Dark started story intro that leads to OC being reborn as Wanda Maximoff (though doesn't get flashes of memories until a young child of around 5ish and it's only enough to sort of let me give a reason for character changes Wanda will have, also no "MCU knowledge"). Story will toe the line with Dark status every so often (Wanda has very little problem being an Antihero right off the bat when around Teenage and that carries on as she ages, and has no problem literally killing to protect, more so when it comes to protecting Pietro). Sort of a test story for Darker writings, but ultimately will have a happy ending because i'm a sucker for happy endings. Technically the OC is just a placebo spark for me to change Wanda up a little for a story idea, and the OC stuff itself means very little beyond those "sparks" to induce change which will butterfly effect over time. (Wanda Maximoff x Natasha Romanoff, with background Pietro x Sam, Steve x Bucky, etc, etc) - Story was inspired by "Vicious" by Halestorm, and "Sweet but Psycho" by Ava Max

MCU - No Title Yet, and a smaller fic (and closer to the MCU timeline of stuff, though still plenty of changes and yes, Pietro lives along with Clint and the kid here, too). Will also toe the line with Darker stuff like Waking Wanda will (i'm very fond of writing antiheroes lately...), and OC will have Animal Shapeshifting powers. OC is also a brother to Wanda and Pietro via triplets instead of twins. - (TransMale!OC x Natasha Romanoff, with background Wanda x Darcy and Pietro x Monica) - Story was inspired by "Insane" by Black Gryph0n and Baasik, and "Wrong Side of Heaven" by Five Finger Death Punch

MCU - No Title Yet, this story will be a fic that doesn't heavily dip into fighting battles at first like the other stories, and instead will be set where Reader will end up in the MCU and steps in where possible (healing ability and also has wings, though you can hide them into a scar on your back) to try to encourage change to bring a bit less pain and suffering to our Avengers. Wanda and Natasha end up dating Reader (triad poly) during Civil War era (bigger changes here, and yes, Reader saves Pietro, there is deff a pattern here for me, i think) after Reader sort of gets pulled in via sticking around after Lagos to heal any wounded (Wanda yeets Rumlow a little more viciously so it clears it just enough to only cause a little bit of roof damage) - Wanda x Natasha x Female Reader - Inspired by "If Today Was Your Last Day" by Nickelback, and "Soldier" by Gavin DeGraw

MCU - No Title Yet, possibly a small series of oneshots about Wanda and Reader being a Soft!Couple, but also has Wanda and Vision being besties, and Reader and Natasha being besties. Literally just a "feel good" series - Wanda x Female Reader (Reader and Nat being Platonic besties, while Wanda and Vision being Platonic besties) - Inspired by "You and Me" by Plain White T's, and "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves

MCU - No Title Yet, set after Endgame. Natasha comes back via Steve's stone exchange, but she's not really healed from it. Scars, recovering from broken bones, and honestly feels lost. While Clint is dealing with Kate stuff (Yelena goes to help him at Natasha's request, and because she's become fond of him like an older brother as well), Natasha meets Southern!Reader who is a friend of Laura's, visiting from Texas (was also a Marine). Reader and Natasha are a bit awkward at first (Natasha because she's still recovering and unsteady from retiring, thus not really sure what she wants to do now, and Reader due to just being a shy awkward person who still doesn't really understand how people "people"). The two end up helping each other. Natasha helping Reader with moments of night terrors spawned from PTSD of war/battles against other humans and other skirmishes with Thanos' army during the blip era. Reader helps Natasha stop pushing herself so hard during her recovery (physical and mental), and start to stop and just breathe, along with the fear of a truly unknown future. - Natasha x Autistic!Female Reader - Inspired by "Stuck In a Moment You Can't Get Out Of" sang by Scarlet Johansson, "Rise Up" by Andra Day, "Shatter Me" by Lindsey Stirling ft Lzzy Hale, and "All I Know So Far" by P!nk

MCU - No Title Yet. IM SO WEAK for Vera Farminga that it's unreal (dare i say Wanda Maximoff levels)?! That held my existence hostage and spawned this one here, of Eleanor Bishop x Reader. Reader is gonna be Wanda and Pietro's slightly older sibling (Marvel can pry Pietro's survival from my cold, dead hands) and has powers much like Magneto of the X-Men movies, but also cannot be harmed by metal objects, and has a resistance (read: resistance, not immunity) to more extreme cold and hot temperatures, as well as the abilities extending to Vibranium.

Conjuring Universe - No Title Yet. read above about weakness, RIP. Anyway, Reader will be Ed's sister who portrays a masculine build/clothing (and yes, binder! inc history research of binders and what was common and uncommon in that time era). Will happen around the main 3 Conjuring movies, as well as dabbling in The Nun 2 post credits scene (and extended), and the Curse of La Llorona getting a lil bit of a rewrite.

Honesty I’m of the opinion that someone can have their own opinions as long as it doesn’t cause a problem to someone else (or trigger them). I mean you can ship Thor with Jane, Sif, Lorelei, Valkyrie, Fandral, Darcy, somehow Captain America too…? You can ship him even with yourself at this point, also Lokane (Loki x Jane) is a thing that has been going on for years now. All of this ships above don’t bother me like that inc*stuos, filthy ship of Th*rki. I don’t get it and I don’t get why people are so pushy with it. It is not ok.

If you only wish to see their relationship as a platonic/brotherly one use the hastag brodinsons. (They already use that to sneak in the ship sadly, but it’s all we have for now)

There is such a marked difference in how Loki acts after finding out he’s Jotun, down to the shaky way Tom delivers his lines. Loki’s su!c!de attempt genuinely made me cry, especially because I know he survives actual physical and psychological torture afterwards, and does things that likely haunt him forever. I wish I could tell him that a few years down the line, he will know his family and everyone in Asgard pitied him, loved him, mourned him, and in another timeline he will meet someone who will make him feel understood and validated and seen the way he thought impossible. It’s also making me worry about Sylvie attempting the same next season because…Loki and Sylvie are cut from the same cloth and as they said, they truly have been where she is now and felt what she feels.
