1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

SasuSaku and NaruHina. SasuSaku is just.... i dont like it. I don’t like Sasuke in canon and it feels so fucking forced. Same with NaruHina. I don’t read NaruHina unless its like a background relationship. like i could do a whole post about how both relationships are basically the damn fucking thing; badass man and girl who’s crushed/obsessed over the man their entire lives. it is... i dont like it.

3. Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?

yes. yes i have. i dont even remember what fandom or what they said but if i dont like something, i unfollow. i dont want that stuff in my life and i have the choice to get it out so yeahhh (i think it either had to do with sakura/lucy heartfillia or maybe even a percy jackson thing,,,,)

4. Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?*

SasuSaku. I hate it, really. unless its a total rewrite where Sasuke isn’t an asshole and Sakura isn’t obsessed with him and focuses on her development and then they get together later on and have been friends. i really don’t like it. i also don’t like canon NaruHina, it feels forced in my opinion, so same deal with SasuSaku, unless its an AU and the romance is actually developed, i dont like it.

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?

i dont think so.... the only fandoms ive ever really been in are fairy tail, naruto, soul eater, and pjo and all of my fav pairings were usually fandom popular or widely accepted so not yet!

13. Unpopular opinion about XXX character?

-i dont like canon sakura. oops! i watched the OG naruto and i would hold those small moments that i did like her so close to my chest and i was so so disappointed on how kishi handled her character. it just makes me upset but not surprised tbh so now ive made it my mission to write her with all the potential she had

-sasuke deserves to be angry and go out and do his thing. but also, he should be held accountable for his actions. Yes. the uchiha were treated like shit and murdered for basically no fucking reason but still. he’s OP and just like your basic “lone wolf bitchass”.

-same with naruto. i love sunshine boys. I DO. but he... doesn’t mature?? he stays naive and ignorant (from what i remember) and he’s so god damn OP. this fic summarizes the way i feel about Sasuke and Naruto. They’re great characters, sure, but im so thankful for critical thinking fic authors who give them depth and realistic lives/characteristics.

19. What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?

-the toxicity towards woman. its pretty prominent in like all animes tbh. it makes my blood boil and like so angry that i try to steer clear from it

20. What is the purest ship in the fandom?

LEESAKU. i love that ship with all my heart. i feel like they’d just be so good together. like if sakura got some actual character development and lee too, they’d be so kickass and soft together.

22. Popular character you hate?

i don’t really HATE a character, but sasuke. he irks me. i would punch him in the face and shove him into a locked room with 10 therapists.

23. Unpopular character you love?

kishimoto sucks. sure, he wrote one of the greatest anime/mangas around. but i feel like he bit off way more than he could chew. the character development could have been so much better, world building was great tho, and tho some of the arcs were creative as hell,, the writing could have been so much better. if given the chance, i would rewrite it.

naruto: i would need to rewrite the whole series; but in short, not have sakura want to go with sasuke. let her be happy by herself. let her want to grow in the village and help with the hospital.

I get really frustrated when I see some larries completely disregard the fact that Zayn and Liam are also closeted when there’s so much evidence. I know you believe in both couples. How do you handle it? It’s just hard :(

Oof.

This is a super complex question, considering the fact it’s 2:30am in Australia, but, alas, I’m gonna fucking tackle it anyway. Apologies for the probably disjointed answer. This is just my opinion and view.

I’m sorry that it’s difficult for you to see people disregarding Zayn and Liam, and Ziam.

You’re right; I do believe in both couples, completely AND equally. There are incredible similarities in a lot of aspects of both them as individuals, and them as couples. Zayn and Liam have both had very obvious PR relationships (especially the one Liam is in right now jfc), they drop hints all the time still (Zayn had a slit in his eyebrow just a couple of months ago), and I’ve said it before but I believed in Ziam before I believed in Larry. Zayn and Liam were incredibly obvious during One Direction, and at the moment, Zayn just isn’t in the public eye anywhere near as much personally, so there’s not as much opportunity for people to see as much as with Harry and Louis.

There will always be people who don’t like Zayn, don’t like Liam, and/or don’t believe in Ziam.

Look.

That’s their decision, their opinion, whatever. I don’t agree with it, but they’re always gonna be out there. This certainly doesn’t extend to every Larrie or person who doesn’t believe in Ziam or that the boys are closeted, though.

I love those boys with my whole damn heart though, so it can be tricky when I see posts alluding to Harry and Louis being the only closeted members of the band, or when people completely blow off something Ziam related that’s identical to something Larry related that they screamed about.

There’s a couple of layers to this, though.

As someone who believes in both couples and throws themselves in completely, it is A LOT. I’ve spoken to quite a number of Larries recently who have been very open and honest, and just said that Larry is a fucking lot to deal with on it’s own, and not everyone can handle what comes with also adding in a full blown investigation to Ziam.

It’s important to remember that that’s valid. No one should ever tell someone else what they do and don’t have the mental capacity to deal with. Larry is a lot, and all of the people I’ve spoken to have also then said that because of that, they don’t have a solid opinion because they don’t know the facts, or know enough either side. That’s also super valid, and a good thing, because some people are aware that they don’t know the ins and outs of Zayn, Liam, and Ziam, and therefore don’t contribute as much to the specifics really, even though they still love them. People can also 100% not believe in Ziam or not look into it, but still love Zayn and Liam. Sometimes Ziams don’t see it that way, and it’s just creates this vicious cycle of frustration and hatred amongst some Larries and Ziams.

I think, for me personally, the thing that frustrates me the most is seeing people who refuse to look into it, or who don’t know much about it at all because they can’t be bothered, then flat out refuse to accept any form or relationship or closeting even though they haven’t looked into it, and slam up opinion after opinion on them.

A lot of people don’t brush them to the side intentionally or maliciously, anon. They just love Harry and Louis and focus mainly on them, and there’s nothing wrong with that. People are allowed to have favourites. It’s the malicious people that are the worst, and honestly, they can just get the fuck off my dash. I’m in charge of curating my fandom experience and safe space, and so I do.

In terms of how I handle seeing people being outright arseholes about it? Sometimes I don’t. Sometimes it’s so frustrating to see people think that Liam’s current relationship is real despite all the proven lies and cover ups and the fact they first got papped three days before Stack It Up came out. Sometimes it’s frustrating to see people say that Icarus Falls got basically zero promo because that’s definitely what Zayn wanted, even though his label did nothing and could’ve promoted the album properly without him being physically present and without making his mental health worse. Sometimes it’s frustrating to see people completely ignore anything Ziam related, even though often it’s just as obvious, or more obvious, than some of the stuff that Harry and Louis do.

But then I remember that not everyone has the capacity, time, or, honestly, interest to look into it. And that’s okay, because they recognise that there’s things they might not understand about the situation. The people I know personally are brilliant with this, and I’m always SO incredibly happy when they ask me questions about Zayn and Liam or Ziam, because it can be fucking daunting from the outside.

This fandom is SO MUCH sometimes; so much information, so many time lines, so many hidden messages and secrets and codes. Everyone has to start somewhere. I’m always happy to answer something that someone doesn’t know, because how is someone always just supposed to know everything from the start? There’s so much information to wade through and sort out, and it’s so daunting. For some people, starting to look into Ziam on top of Larry is intimidating, and that’s fair. There’s SO MUCH, so so much. Why would i ever tell someone to find something themselves or look it up themselves when that can be scary for someone, when I already know the answer? Im always happy to help!

I’ve waffled on, because it’s who I am, but basically for me, it boils down to this:

It can be hard to see people ignore the clear signals Zayn and Liam send, but for some people, the idea of Ziam isn’t something they’ve looked into because it’s daunting, or maybe they just aren’t particularly interested because Larry are their faves. It’s okay, though. Not everyone is always gonna just instantly come to the same conclusions all the time, even though I’m not personally sure how you could see everything Ziam related and not reach the same conclusion.

There are (at least, sorry Niall, I’m not sure) four closeted men in One Direction. Absolutely. And it is frustrating when people say there’s only two.

I just sigh, scroll on, unfollow if it’s bad, and continue to love Zayn and Liam and recognise their closets, because I can’t control what anyone thinks or believes. I also continue to love Harry and Louis and recognise their closets and what they’ve also gone through and are going through.

And love Niall.

I also continue to love the Larries I love, love the Ziams I love, and love the safe space in the fandom that I’ve found.

There’s a lot more to be said about this, but this is just my experience written at now almost 3am.

It’s not really great advice anon, and I’m sorry for that, but it’s all I’ve got 💕 feel free to come off anon and chat with me.

Do you feel comfortable with pro-recast people interacting with your posts? I know this is a sensitive question, so feel free not to answer, but lately I've seen someone pro-recast liking your posts and I wondered if you felt uncomfortable with it, as some pro-artist people do.

emmmm ok first of all i know this topic is really sensitive yes but i wont avoid talking about it because that just gains nothing. so i will answer this.

anyway, i want to explain my views on this topic please hear me out guys. firstly i dont even know who among my followers is pro-recast or pro-artist because i dont really check out anyone who interacts with my posts and stuff unless i talk with them often or i notice them a lot sooo…

to be frank i am not pro-recast and i definitely dont support it either bc it is technically art theft and i have heard of many horror stories and all that crazy shit in the bjd community but pleaseeee let me explain myself

i really, really, really appreciate art in all kinds of forms and stuff thats why i am so into bjds bc they are works of beautiful art and honestly it does kind of saddens me when i see recasts but what other people want to do is not in my control so if pro-recast people do find my blog and want to interact with my posts it is fine with me because even though they are pro-recast i feel i shouldn’t shun them solely because of that one reason. i really dont like painting someone as a bad person without knowing their life so i try to see the good in people and if i do find out a pro-recast person has been interacting with me without my knowledge i will not be mad and instantly block them or anything

you mentioned that you noticed someone who is pro-recast has been interacting with my posts and this has made me curious who this someone is tbh. if this is someone who has been talking with me often then i wouldnt drop them instantly i would first try to understand things from their perspective but it doesnt mean i will agree with them and support their decisions and if this person is someone i care about then i would try my best to reason with them because contributing to recasts is a very serious problem to both artists and the customers and the pro-recast themselves too

i know many pro-artists may disagree with my point of view and even unfollow me after this but in my opinion just because someone is pro-recast it does not make them entirely bad as a person. there are many other factors to consider and everyone has some sort of problem or flaw. thats why it would have to take a lot more than that for me to completely shun someone and tbh if i just avoid every single pro-recast people it wont solve anything and im sure everyone in the bjd hobby already knows about the huge split between pro-artists and pro-recasts. if none of us are going to communicate properly about this problem then we are just ignoring it which wont help anything either so its better to talk about it. unless they just refuse to listen then…

anyway idk man perhaps i am too naive in thinking pro-recast people can be reasoned with but like i said i would try to see things from their POV first and then try to reason with them. of course if they prove themselves that they are just contributing to recasts for their own benefit and disregarding the harm they are causing to others then yeah i would just stop trying to reason with them because at that point it would be obvious they do not care about the harm they cause to others and i would be very disappointed in them tbh. but as i have mentioned i would not instantly do the door slam thing on them just bc we have different views but i would be lying if i said i wont be bothered if i find out they are planning to get more recasts. however i have also heard of pro-artists discriminating and sending death threats(?) to pro-recasts and i have to say i dont like that. i understand why pro-artists would do those things to pro-recasts but no one has the right to pick on anyone and that also doesnt solve anything either and it just fuels the hate in the community and in turn separating everyone even more. i feel we should try to see what we all have in common instead of the differences so we can come together and solve this problem together as a community. we all love bjds and want to enjoy this hobby together and want to keep collecting more beautiful bjds right? then we shouldnt fight or avoid each other because of something we disagree on and we should communicate about the problem so we can do something about it??

i guess the answer to your question is yeah i would be a bit bothered but im not going to like go batshit crazy and block them and call them out and all that shit. sorry for the wall of text guys i just felt i needed to explain bc recasts are still a very big problem in the bjd hobby and people need to talk about it instead of avoiding it. i still remember that time about that one recaster in China threatening legit companies and Dollzone (my favorite company was on the list) about some shit and i was panicking lmfao. tbh i really do want to see this problem gone so no one will fight about it again or worry about the same thing happening again but i know its not that easy. sorry again for the long read. have a good day everyone

i have no plans to watch it. sylar isn’t even in the show so its really just not required of me to view it. any plot lines transpired in that canon will never be seen in any way on my blog. sylar reforms himself post series & just goes on from there. when i officially make it through the whole show i will write proper headcanons on that.

also i think its worth mentioning cos some might see this as potential godmodding. sylar is not a nice guy, hes a type of serial killer. he will kill you if it benefits him, or if you piss him off enough. hes not above doing it just to prove a point. he will hurt you if you make angry, might not kill you but he can hurt you if you anger him. so if your muse riles him up enough ?? just be prepared for potential violence, that might follow. --- i will not exercise my muses strength cos you think its funny to have yours poke the hive. -- if you don’t like this, please don’t attempt to write with me. my muse is a villian for most of the show & i won’t be watering him down for you.

OOC VS. IC KNOWLEDGE

at the point i am in the show, the only people who know what sylar looks like are the people that have seen him, furthermore only those who have heard the name know he is even a thing. so its safe to say a lot of normal savillians don’t know him. HELL a lot of the heroes don’t know him either. --- keep this in mind when interacting. if your character has special abilities to know who he is, thats different, but don’t just assume you know who he is or what he does.

FURTHERMORE TO GO OFF A TANGENT i am not gonna be too keen to see a bunch of starters of people begging for their lives. gabriel is a hell of a lot more then just a random serial killer. he is a complex character who has feelings & issues of his own. hes not going to kill just anyone for the sake of it. please bare this in mind. i will likely not reply to those kind of random interactions. --- by all means if you wanna plot something like that i am game for it, but please give me the heads up. i will not reduce my muse to a stereotype killer, cause hes not & thats the tea. he only kills when it benefits him, its not a sport for the hell of it.

this is a fairly selective and private staci pratt from ubisoft's far cry 5.

i am oc, multi-muse, crossover and even doubles of my muse friendly.

common sense rules apply such as no god-modding, forced ships, ooc drama.

writers must be 18 and up to roleplay.

mun does not equal muse. mun totally adores staci but he's not perfect. this is just rp and his actions and beliefs don't necessarily reflect my own.

IC =/= OOC. I cannot stress this enough. While there’s some things Talon and I agree on, he can be a grade-A asshole, and will say and do downright stupid and hurtful shit at times. He has his issues, but I won’t excuse his actions because of them. I’ll happily explain why he does things the way he does, but it does not mean necessarily I agree.

I will write anything from one liners and crack to multiple paragraphs. While sometimes I’ll drop a novel on you, it’s usually difficult to write replies of that length on a regular basis.

On that note, do not feel like you need to keep up with my length. However with the exception of crack and one liners, I’d appreciate getting at least 4-5 lines in a reply. ACTIVITY

- Activity on this blog will be sporadic at times. Sometimes I’ll be here firing things off at lightning speeds and other times it will take me ages to get to things. I’m slow. Sometimes super slow. Please be patient with me.

- I have work and real life that could distract me. I’ll be more active during weekends.

- I have work, real life and two other blogs (@redlineoffate(multifandom multimuse) and Jiraiya from Naruto @frogprinceus). So I could be slow at times. So please be patient with me.

- Activity also depends on the number of drafts I have (here and on other blogs). If there are a lot of them, it may take a while before the blog will be active again. I prefer to catch all the drafts and queue them up. This is so I don’t get overwhelmed with the amount of threads I owe at any point of time.

FOLLOW & UNFOLLOW

- I am selective, but not mutuals only. If I don’t follow you back, it doesn’t mean that I didn’t want to interact with you. It just helps keep my dash neat. Don’t be shy to send me asks or IM me.

Unpopular opinion: im so done with game of thrones tbh. It's not even good anymore :/ I liked the first season but since then i've skipped through episodes because they are just sooo fucking boring and dragged out!

see like the first three seasons were pretty good because they stayed true to the books. (actually that’s a lie, littlefinger’s chaos speech in the s3 finale was real fuckin bad because guess what: it was original material LMAO) the fourth season was where it started to get messy and then the fifth season was a fucking shitshow because they completely IGNORED the fourth book and cherrypicked all the “good” parts out of it (read: the most action-y parts, while ignoring all the most important pieces of character development) and they botched the dorne storyline, oh and who could forget the iconic moment of throwing in a rape (THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN IN THE BOOKS) just for fun :) love it! but anyway if you think the show is boring i probably wouldn’t recommend the books, they’re even slower getting through them lmao. but it’s worth it in my opinion. there’s so much they don’t include in the show and it makes me Angery

My theory is very similar to the other anons in that Fiona's dad/Lou's ex had a mental illness (schizophrenia, depression, what have you) but he actually did kill himself and that's why she's not completely losing it on Santi because I feel like most people in that situation would have not handled it as well as Lou did

I have panic attacks when I go outside and I wanted to look into alternative stuff since I'm on meds and w/e. I wanted to know if you or friends had any experience or recommendations for buying crystals online like on etsy or amazon. How can you tell if they're real?x

ooooh ok. usually there are shops like those in cities or even in towns with like kitschy little promenades with independent shops. (i know there’s one around the town over from mine, which is so random lmao) i do have friends that have crystals but i think they mostly just collect them for the ~good vibez~ and don’t really look too far into the healing aspects of them. i would say first go with the one that coincides with your birth because those are the ones that are like specifically catered to you and strengthen your being. as for buying online, hmmmmm i mean i don’t really know any specific trustworthy sellers because i don’t have much experience with this, but definitely read the reviews! those will help you a lot <3

i honestly didn’t do much of anything that differs from my usual editing process! i made her eyes a bit bigger by using the clone tool, cloning the top of her eye and applying it a little bit farther up...if that makes sense. it’s hard to explain how to use that tool lmao. and i think i used the liquify tool to bring part of her eyebrow down to look more worried.
