lowkey pissed as hell that some stupid ass questline in the witcher 3 forced me to kill keira metz. i fucking LOVE keira. the quest was actually so stupid because why did she and geralt bang and then suddenly start hating each other over some dumb ass notes from a haunted laboratory. granted i did this quest 30 hours and 20 levels into my playthrough instead of doing it when it was assigned to me but NOW i've failed the "brothers in arms: velen" quest because I HAD NO CHOICE but to MURDER this SORCERESS who was GOING to help me SAVE MY DAUGHTER. except i couldn't ASK HER TO HELP ME because the game forced me to GO THROUGH WITH HER SHITTY QUEST LINES which required fucking KILLING HER. nice fucking job devs i'm officially pissed

Sometimes I really wonder if it’s worth driving for a weekend to my parents’ place so I can grab all my painting supplies and enjoy the amazing natural lighting in my new apartment. There’s enough space for me to go all out on acrylic paintings and studies again. I’ve got a great view of water from here. A freaking bald eagle startled the hell out of me outside my window a while back.

It’s nice here. I want to paint the beaches.

Ask game! Buzz Buzz!

This funky little guy dies way too early into the game to be remembered by a lot of people in the fandom, I miss him.

Howdy! Sorry I sat on this ask for some long, but I suppose I needed some inspiration for this one, haha! I remembered that Buzz Buzz was specified to have previously been human in the novelization, so that got me thinking. If Buzz Buzz time traveled and used to be human, I assume that this is under the same specifications as the Chosen Four's time travel: a human body cannot pass but something else can. So, I'm guessing he used a time machine similar to the Time Distorter once he transferred his soul to a beetle, or more so, a more rudimentary version of a Time Distorter. (We know it isn't one as he calls it something different, The Shooting Star.) See, the Time Distorter seen in game was able to presumably time travel hundreds of years given the changes seen in the Cave of the Past, but Buzz Buzz only traveled ten years. Why didn't he just go to Giygas's time if he could? Well, because he couldn't. Buzz Buzz did mention something about low power in that version, but I'm also guessing that in the bad future, they couldn't team up Dr. Andonuts and the Mr. Saturn for whatever reason. Maybe one or the other died in that time and only one of them could help with Buzz Buzz's time machine (he mentions multiple people making it though; take what I said with a grain of salt), meaning that it would have been weaker like the first run of the canon Time Distorter that couldn't go the full way.

On a related note, I won't make any wild conjectures on which human exactly Buzz Buzz could have been; I've heard theories of him being a bad timeline Ness, but I don't know how I feel about that yet. However, since the Chosen Four retained their powers after time traveling, this leaves an interesting point: Buzz Buzz had PSI even before the time travel, most likely. Thanks to the Garrison baby though, we know that even "Just Some Guy" can have PSI though, so this says nothing about who he was, although something interesting I did catch in the novelization was "We, the scientists..." as a line he said, so this implies that he was a scientist! Maybe he's not a main character from the future, but at least it's interesting!

(Now why did he change his name to Buzz Buzz though?)
