Janie wonders how long she'll have to pay for the original Janie's choices but also knows that her knife skills were never anything to write home about so she might as well get over it.

"I wanted to talk with you about possibly starting to talk through a few things tonight, if that's alright with you?" Betsy asks chopping up onions without flinching. Janie was on the other side of the kitchen and her eyes were starting to burn.

"Yeah that's fine." Janie says, "Hit me with your first question Doc." She says because what the hell are you supposed to say to a psychologist who needs to help you overcome something that isn't yours to overcome? Janie isn't suicidal, if there is one thing that dying had taught her it is that dying fucking sucks.
