Saw someone on youtube open some Bloomburrow play boosters and when they pulled Ygra, Eater of All, they said: "Is this the villain? I don't actually know who the villain of the set is."

and now I cannot stop thinking about why people we see a wild animal that can be dangerous and immediately assume it evil and out to get the heroes. And how the story actually very much tells us that we should learn to see that some natural circumstances that at first glance seem just dangerous and unideal to live with are actually worth our protection

ok ive had enough of queering judaism. can we start judaizing queerness now. or something

#like. it feels like so much of this queering judaism shtus just layers an american/secular queer identity over judaism #which i guess is fine for certain communities. but it's only going to push you away from orthodoxy #and if as queer jews we already feel like our queerness makes us into secularized outsiders in our own communities #how does this help? is trying to get our communities to embrace an essentially secular american iteration of queer identity supposed to mak #us feel LESS like outsiders? it's not quite doing it for me #we need a queerness that comes from within judaism that is essentially jewish #ive seen a couple of articles recently from ppl talking abt how word/concept of butch doesnt exist in their language & culture #but they use it anyway #& like. i love being butch. it's important to me ill never give it up #& i am american too. but my whole identity as a butch he/him lesbian is exclusively secular american it came from the outsifr #which is definitely due in large part to the fact that my Gender Problems were really tied up w orthodox jewish gender roles #so naturally to get out of that i'd pull on something not jewish. but i wish there was another option? idk if that's possible #or how it would look #maybe that's why im obsessed w the idea of a butch w long curly payos.... 😦#i forgot where i was going w this but yeah it's frustrating #this is a large part of why im wary of starting a queer Jewish club on campus bc the people who would wanna start it w mr #well no offense but they are insufferable about this #(incidentally they're also insufferable about chanukah. no surprises there)#nachi speaks #jew blogging #others have Actually written abt all this tho

WAIT WAIT. do plants literally need love to survive???? Tesla died so quickly in part because she was neglected in her needs as a person -- did the twins only survive because Rem showed them that there was a place they COULD survive? Did Tesla's body just go "there's no place for me here" and shut down? The dependent plants only survive because people care for them and tend to their needs. Are independents the same, just with different needs?

#im having a lot of half-formed thoughts about how the plants 'know' 'how to be' a person/a part of something greater #they have a more powerful connection to symbiosis than humans do -- they KNOW they can't survive without community #humans can -- and often do -- lie to themselves that they don't need other people #but the plants KNOW that they wouldn't survive alone. and they know that humans wouldn't survive without them #the independents play a different role. they're able to see and understand humans' frequent need for self-reliance and they refute it #wait don't only the first couple tags show up in search #trigun maximum #trigun tesla #trigun #ok back to rant #independents are the mouthpiece of the plants -- their advocates #most symbiosis in nature works on a more fundamental level where such communication isn't necessary #but the humans' symbiosis with the plants operates on a higher level of consiousness #free will and sentience are essential elements of it. the humans' inventiveness and enduring will is needed for the survival of the plants #this is all just a bunch of loose post-its on the wall btw otherwise id jyst make a post about it lol #anyway thank you for your time i love yall

re: "good girl" i think they say it once randomly as a joke and its just one of those things that gets him wayyy more than they expected it would. so now its their secret weapon and they use it very sparingly and every single time he gets super embarrassed about it but it works ill tell you what.

Ehergha was quiet for a moment then told her it was fine then - as long as it wasn't due to cowardly hatred.#S'veyk : No. Decidedly not hatred.#<- Ehergha thought of those words for weeks and a month later he initiated a courtship #also the lower comic strip is them wrestling (pre relationship). Ostensibly to see how strong the other is after #flirt-banter about oh Klingons have victory running through their veins welll Vulcans might be naturally stronger blablabla #but in the end I think they just get a bit worked up from touching each other so much #bea art tag #also Ehergha asked if she knew any martial arts/self defense and S'veyk said she knew some Vulcan techniques #and he essentially said 'baby shit. lemme show you some REAL moves' <- how it starts.

Glitch techs theory:

In the released parts of the Show Bible, you can find this image.

It shows glitches and how they can appear from any piece of Hinobi Gaming Tech, but there’s something else important here:

All the different colours of Glitch shown here are different glitch types that we see in the show!

All the different glitch colours we see correspond to the actual colours of different glitches root forms:

Green is for Entity Glitches, which have green root forms:

(Interestingly enough, there are two green glitches shown in the bible image, which can either mean that there’s a second type of glitch with a green root form (possibly the one seen in Im Mitch Williams with its ability to possess electrical equipment, although this is the more unlikely option) or it’s just done for symmetry in the image (the more likely option)).

Purple is for Possessor Glitches, which have purple root forms. I don’t think anything else really needs to be said there.

The Yellow Glitch represents Mapper Glitches, which are shown to be yellow:

Also worth noting is that although the Mapper Glitch shown setting up a game is yellow, Count Nogrog himself has a purple root form, meaning that he may actually be a Possessor Glitch.

The real mapper glitch may actually be the game that Five and Miko are exploring and it’s environment, being outright destroyed instead of captured when the game is beaten. After all, Phil says himself that “The glitch you’ll face in that house is the game itself”.

But that leaves one colour unaccounted for. Red.

We never see a glitch with a red root form in the show, but based on everything else there must be some unseen glitch type that corresponds to it.

So what if the unknown red glitch type is what Bolypius is?

It’s implied that Bolypius is some type of glitch that can have human intelligence and learn things. So what if this red root form is why? It’s a new, completely different and unknown type of glitch.

But this shouldn't mess with what's definitive about it.#basically taking a good faith journalism stance on it so your not falling into possible problematic biases #there are also functions of vampirism and how it works in this context which do not mirror our world 1 to 1 #for instance whereas humans have to live in direct contact with society and its various problems bias and ideologies vampires live on the #outskirts of this. Only ever coming into contact by influencing onto that world by their outside actions or appearances #the human world serves nothing for them except as threat or supply for wants or needs. There's no real connection there.#When mapping vampiric existence onto human existence it can a lot of times lead to problems in trying to bridge this cognitive dissonance.#You can not be in community with humanity when you are by nature a being opposed to it. Which is contentious when you want to be part still #They can be effected by this and effect onto it yes but they are not actually a part of it and never will be.#I'd say if you effect onto humanity positively it's better to have it for the enjoyment of it alone as opposed to seeking human connection #as any criticisms of this connection your trying to seek is essentially denial your own sought humanity as opposed to the object of doing #and this would always be a lost cause #but i think I digress here #there are also cultural beliefs and practices of vampires that are not found in our world such as laws and covens and ideologies #a lot of which are quite actually opposed to normal human understandings of rightness and morality #they culturally are more open to accepting those who are viewed as less than or moral because this is a reflection of themselves #And we can and should certainly point to all of this stuff for what it is I feel

oh my god. so many. so, sooooo many. not even because i disagree w the complaint but because it's gotten to the point where i think its so useless to complain when nothing is gonna change no matter what u say!!!

i guess a non-typical one i'm sick of (cuz i was really referring to the blank blog problem w/ that comment)... is...... how do i say...................... complaining abt how readers ask too much of writers.

idk. it's hard to express because on one hand, no one should be overworked or feel obligated to produce writing. But on the other hand, i think readers do a lot more for this site than is really appreciated, and even the dumb requests that get sent... do mean the person appreciates you in a lot of ways? and just don't deserve to be entirely tormented?

it's also kinda grating to me atp because ik other fandom insert communities work differently... so it often could be someone just isn't used to doing something a certain way, and therefore get confused when they transfer over to a new community where the norms are different (such as no requests, or reading news rules).

PLUS, most vocal readers are really kind and respectful! there's just always going to be a certain handful of people who break the boundaries, and shouldn't get lumped in with the people here who actually make this place great. which is why sometimes i think all the salt is unnecessary.

it's actually a huge dilemma for me, LOL. but I love u, ace! and thank u for returning the favor<3

Obsessed with the new idea for Levi.

After killing Raphael in the House of Hope he:

1) Eats Raphael's heart

2) Takes out his eyes. Replaces his blind right eye with Raphael's and hides the left one in a little magically enchanted box.

This will: change Levi even more than he is already changed and will give him a weird dive into Raphael's memories, i.e. seeing everything the eye he uses has seen. Also he can use the other eye as a spying device, a scrying eye of his own invention.

(religiously they were the 'failed' creation of god and that's why humans were made)#(well sort of)#in stories (ex: one thousand and one nights which is actually a pretty interesting read) they do interact with humans #in said interactions they're known to be clever #but are also pretty easy to trick #which is pretty handy considering most stories with jinn portray them as evil #even though a lot of them are actually just lil guys doin whatever #they do have funky powers of shapeshifting #they're also really strong!#some people think they can possess humans #not too sure abt that one tho #also if you were wondering abt clothing it kinda depends on the setting #cuz if you're doing this in like the heart of the middle east their outfits are gonna be a bit less revealing #but in places like persia and turkey it's abt accurate (albeit more sleeve and shoulder coverings cuz culture and religion of the time)#richer people wore brighter colors #and satin or silks were seen as a sign of luxury #while poorer people wore duller simpler clothing

Mostly I just had the idea rewatching the Ryloth arc inspired by twi’lek obsession and the intended personality of the swtor character I played for 2 days and then abandoned possibly forever but I’m thinking Jedi Knight with a sort of um. Any means necessary in retaliation to oppressive forces attitude that the Jedi Order is not a huge fan of who learns of the separatist occupation of Ryloth => Requests to be part of the liberation force => Denied due to prior assignment and the Republic army being stretched thin enough as is as well as personal emotional investment => and then since this is all relatively early in the war they become one of the first notable Jedi defectors. Not to “the other side” just like Fuck y’all I’m going to Ryloth anyway Lmfao.

#I imagine they would get along particularly well on a surface level with the Anakin of this era specifically because of his #''well just fucking kill the bad guys'' attitude but in a short lived way because he'd be pissed to hear that they defected if if They #actually knew the way that he truly was i.e. tusken massacre and such they would probably try to cut his head off.#Naturally they would be friends with Aayla as well :) and defecting to go essentially take part in Ryloth liberation efforts #(whether against subsequent Separatist invasion or to keep a close fucking eye on the Republic occupation)#means they would probably be relatively close with Cham Syndulla and know baby Hera.
