Summary: Lewis Hamilton is part-time Formula One driver and full-time fashion icon. And so is his girlfriend, Y/N Y/L/N, who's also known as a real life Barbie.

Warnings: None... but a lot of pink XD. Also this story is set in December 2023, so no broken hearts over Lewis going to Ferrari... actually maybe just a little teaser.

Author's Note: Hi Anon! This request is great and thank you so much for it, it definitely is good enough! :) I had fun writing and creating this, even though at the end it's kind of different than what I firstly intended to do. The original idea was to make Y/N very Barbie coded, but at the end I'd say she's Barbie inspired and I focused more on the fashion icon part of the request. Though there's a sweet storyline about why her nickname is Barbie, so I hope you won't be disappointed! :)

I liked sunset because in a way MK started more with Sun powers and he is now discovering more his Macaque side of powers, so he's approaching a little bit the shadows (so his journey was from day to slowly twilight)

A party. A one off visit. The boy you've been in love with since you were a kid.

Your brothers best friend.

The notorious frat boy who's always had a soft spot for you.

There's so many people in this house, you can barely stand. Bass bouncing, bodies moving, sweat dripping down backs. Lights flashing, drinks flowing, hands roaming and exploring.

You're sandwiched between two strangers when you feel a solo cups worth of liquid pour down your back, drenching you. You gasp and turn around, but can't find the culprit. Looking around the room, you search for Bucky, hoping he'll give you the key to his room so you can grab a new shirt from your overnight bag.

You fight your way through the crowd, desperate to find your brother. You can see what seems like a thousand frat boys, not one of them the one you want.

"Are you okay?" someone shouts at you, warm hand finding your shoulder.

It's Steve, who looks a little concerned, crease etched in between his brows.

"Someone threw a drink down my back," you yell back. "I can't find Bucky!"

"He's with Nat, in the backyard. Come with me."

Before you can protest, he's intertwining his fingers with yours, pulling you upstairs.

You've never been in Steve's room at college. Back home, you've been in it a thousand times, but this is different. This is a place for grown up Steve, not a kid anymore Steve. This feels more sacred, somehow.

"Sorry about the mess."

You look around, and can't understand what he's talking about. The place is virtually spotless, everything neat and tidy.

"You're the least messy person I know, Steve."

He laughs and opens his closet, searching through his clothes.

"Which one? Green or blue?"

He holds up two shirts, one in each hand, offering them to you.

"Blue, please. It'll go with my skirt better."

You take it from him, a tiffany coloured tee with ROGERS written on the back. You remember him wearing it, at a practise football tournament a couple of years back.

Without thinking, you peel your wet shirt over your head, standing in front of Steve in your bra. The beer you've been sipping on has lowered your inhibitions, bravery coursing through your veins.

His eyes roam over you before he shakes his head, diverting his gaze.

"You're so beautiful," he mumbles. "Most beautiful girl in the world."

You look at him incredulously, unsure if you heard him correctly.

"What?"

"You heard me. I've never met anyone as pretty as you."

"Steve, you're drunk."

"No drunker than you are."

He takes a step towards you, trailing his fingertips up your arm.

"Shouldn't you be with some college cheerleader or something?" you whisper.

He laughs, low and warm.

"I haven't slept with anyone since I got here."

You scoff.

"You've been here for months. I don't believe that for a second."

"It's true. I've been too busy thinking about-"

He cuts himself off, dancing his fingers up to rest against your cheek. He cradles your face in his hand, looking at you seriously.

"I can't stop thinking about you."

"Me?" you whisper in disbelief.

"Yes, you. I know it's not fair on Bucky, but I don't know what else to do. It's not my fault his sister is so easy to fall in love with."

"You love me?" you choke out, eyes welling with tears. You take a breath to try and ground yourself, half convinced you're dreaming.

"I think I've loved you for years. Do you know how excited I was when Bucky said you were coming to visit? Most exciting thing to happen to me in months. I really miss you."

"I miss you too. So much. It's surprisingly hard being apart."

"I don't want to hurt Bucky," he murmurs.

"Me neither. That's the last thing I want to do. Ever."

"But I'm also sick of denying what I want."

He lunges forward and captures your lips, pulling you into him. It's tender and sweet and full of so many years of things unsaid.

You pull away to rest your forehead on his, breathing him in.

"I love you too, by the way," you whisper against his lips.

The grin he gives you is so bright, it's like looking at the sun. He is your sun. Your light in the dark. The only boy you've ever loved.

A harsh knock on the door startles you both.

"Steve, it's Sam! You in there? I need you to be my beer pong partner!"

"I'll, uh, I'll be out in a second!" Steve yells back.

"Come on, hotshot. They're wondering where you are," you chuckle, leaning up to kiss him chastely.

You throw his shirt on and check your reflection in the mirror, turning around when you hear Steve groan.

"What?"

"You look so good in my clothes."

"Control yourself, Rogers, or else Bucky's going to see."

"Let him watch," he winks, grinning when you laugh.

He links your hands and pulls you out of the door, ready to accept the inevitable consequences of being in love with his best friends sister.

Funny the difference in Luke from the pap pictures yesterday to the fan picture today. Something is old?

I need to hear your thoughts about Daan/O’saa

Ahhh! I hope you asked this Knowing I'd rant because I'm going to rant. First of all since You only asked about O'saa and Daan I'll spare you the Details of the Other little dynamics I have. They All Involve Abella and Henryk. Just different mixes between all 4 of them or duos or trios. Anyway 🤭🤭🤭

They have a Few Dynamics for me, Mainly I like them Romantically, But Queerplatonic O'saan is also Close to my heart because god they're just so cute. I'll try to say everything in a. Coherent way? I'll do my best lol But I'll definitely lose myself in rants and such.

I'll be So real, The first appeal was just that Their colour pallettes complement eachother in a way I find delectable. Then there’s also the fact that they both have a Connection to The Old Gods, Daan to Sylvian because of his Parents, and to the Sulphur god because of what Happens to the Von Dutches, O'saa Mainly to Gro-goroth by nature of his being a Yellow mage, but of course to all of them, since he has that knowledge. He's the one to Tell Daan about the Sulphur god afterall.

Then, of course, their personalities and Dynamics are just so entertaining. Daan is so Blunt and Sarcastic- and he talks so much he's so mouthy and tragic and has this underlying gloom to him, but he can't help but care about things despite coming across as so apathetic. O'saa similarly Also comes across as an Apathetic egotistical Asshole when, if you read between the lines of things he says, you can see empathy and compassion (like his conversation with Olivia About the people in the slums). He is also an Asshole for real, but he's someone with a sense of humour and an appreciation for things. He's just. Augh, he's so dramatic and such a stubborn little ass. This is also Favouritism as both O'saa and Daan are two of my favourite characters. They also both scream autism to me. O'saa in the Infodump-y Hyperfixation way, and Daan in the Socially Awkward blunt way. Kinda in the same way, actually. I'm bound to twist their personalities and Dynamics in a way that appeals to me, obviously, but do put your observations about their personalities in the Notes if you want!

Now, their dynamic as a couple. Honestly, it mostly involves them being Catty little stuborn sarcastic bastards at each other. It's their love language. What good's a partner with no backbone? /nsrs. But genuinely, they appreciate and look up to each other for the different types of Strengths they wield, O'saa with his Magic and Daan with his precision, but i also mean mental strength. The way they approach problems, the way they deal with them. They both think the other is incredibly smart, and part of their love language is not babying the other. Because they both recognise the Others strength. They definitely argue and disagree on things, but that's also an important part of their dynamic. It's like taking joy in seeing what makes the other tick. Kinda like they're actively dissecting each other.

Love language. Other than their mutual respect for each other, I'm not too sure. I think O'saa's very physically affectionate but with subtle ways. I like to think that he's got a big family, so he's used to being touchy, like little things to kind of groom and take care of the people around of him. But only if he's comfortable with them. And he's comfortable with Daan, so I imagine he has no problems doing such things. I think he also likes Acts of Service. Like healing Daan with magic or cooking for him.

For Daan I think his main one is Acts of Service. I also envision him Really enjoying cooking for O'saa (it becomes a competition, like a, who can cook better thing. I think O'saa's the Better cook but Daan isn't bad either). Or other things like Patching O'saa up or, in a more Domestic scenario, Washing O'saa or his hair. Like in a bath. Or even just massaging. I also Think He'd be the tipe of person to Penguin pebble. Like, Give O'saa little things and trinkets that reminded him of the mage. He's rich like that.

I think the main thing for both, though, is definitely quality time. They Definitely Adore Just sitting in each other's personal space while doing completely different things. They also strike me as the types of people to get lost in Discussion a lot. Or to watch and critique Shitty movies together. God Karin wouldn't stand them 😭😭😭 she already hates both of them individually.

If it wasn't already Obvious I view them as Cat x Cat when it comes to Dynamics. In the Way that Daan's a Delicate well groomed house cat and O'saa's a Pampered big cat like a Puma or a lion.

For a more intimate look at it, I don't think Daan or O'saa are all too fond of. Hm. Sexual... Encounters? I envision both to be on The Aro-Ace spectrum so. That's not to say that i think they don't have any sexual relationship at all, but i definitely don't think it's a big nor important part of their dynamic. If I had to describe it, I'd say, hm, service top O'saaaa? Basically, that. It's even funnier because if you look at the nude drawings i made, neither even have male anatomy, so yeah. But i do think They like marking each other up. Like bites and hickeys type of thing.

Y/n kept her eyes focused on the civilians that were making their way back to the buildings they stayed in, hoping they would just fucking hurry up and stop walking like snails.

As the final person stepped through and let the rickety door close behind them, Y/n released a breath, ignoring the sweat that dripped down her neck just like she ignored the parasite that stood less than a feet away from her, his eyes fixed on the exact place hers were glued to.

"They're gone-"

"I can see that-"

"We need to hurry. Move."

He shot her a look, gesturing with his hands as he took a step forward, and then another, and Y/n had half the mind to just ignore his words and settle down, because why would he tell her to do exactly what she was about to do?

Did he really think she would follow his orders just because Castle would bow down to his every wish?

When she didn't move at the speed of light at his oh-so-very-polite request, he turned to glare at her.

"Why must you be so difficult all the damn time?"

She lifted her chin, then stalked forward, ignoring him and skirting around his figure, despite the urge to shove her shoulders into his.

He released a frustrated sigh behind her, muttering something under his breath, which, unfortunately, Y/n was unable to hear.

Bastard.

Clenching her jaw, Y/n continued forward, deciding it best to ignore his insignificant self for the time being until it was necessary for them to interact.

Soon- sooner than Y/n would have liked- they arrived at the building where all the officials from Sector 45 lived and controlled everything from.

Y/n could not stop staring at the plush interior, so richly decorated, so much more colourful and different from the outside world. All Y/n could think about as a soldier led them through the place was about how stark the differences were.

About how much more hopeful the outside world would be if they only even got just a fraction of the luxury the officials lived in.

Her awe and shock had slowly morphed into resentment and ire, imagining what could have been if only her family had been living in better conditions.

Imagining a life without Castle and his unnecessary favouritism.

A life without anyone's pity.

"Y/n?"

Y/n blinked, turning her head to find Kenji staring at her with furrowed brows. "Yes?"

"Can you stop living in your dreamland and focus for once?"

Y/n stared at him, unamused as she waited for her mask to fall into place, slowly building back the wall she usually hid her memories behind.

The moment he looked away, she let herself glance around, taking in the new surroundings once again, cataloguing the closed door in front of her, the absence of the female guard who the two of them had been following till now.

She would've asked Kenji what was going on, but she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of lecturing her on why she was not suited for any missions again.

So she waited, anticipation crawling in her gut like a pest before the door in front of her opened, and out walked the lady who had been escorting them. "Go on in, he's waiting for you."

Who?

Kenji nodded, then stepped inside, leaving Y/n standing awkwardly by herself. Was she supposed to follow him?

The lady gave her a funny look, then moved aside. "Are you not ging in?"

Y/n blinked, a rush of blood making her face feel so much warmer as she ducked her head, hurrying to follow Kenji.

Why did he not tell her the whole plan beforehand?

Asshole.

As soon as the door fell closed behind her, her eyes met Kenji's glaring ones, and she let herself glare back at him until someone cleared their throat.

"Trouble in paradise?"

Y/n's eyes flew to the man that stood next to the desk in the center of the room, his eyebrows raised. Y/n was about to deny the allegations, but before she could, the sound of Kenji's she giggle froze her.

"So, you are... what, lovers?"

Y/n turned to look at Kenji, who rubbed the back of his head.

"Yes, sir."

Y/n had to stop herself from laughing, wondering if this was some sick joke, but one look from Kenji had her straightening, looking away.

What the fuck.

The lady guard- Belle- escorted Y/n and Kenji to the guards quarters.

Acting like new conscripts wasn't hard, and the old man had not questioned the two of them much about their reason for conscripting. Despite what Y/n initially thought, he was just the right hand man of the man who ran the place.

Warner, or whatever his name was, was apparently busy, and so he had his right hand man do the procedures necessary for the joining.

It was a pretty quick ordeal, and the man seemed uninterested the whole time, though Y/n hadn't been worried about that part.

The only thing she could think about was why Kenji would pretend T/n and him were lovers.

She hadn't gotten much time to talk to him, but now that Y/n and Kenji were left alone to make their way to the different barracks, Y/n grabbed his arm, her blood boiling.

"Lovers? Lovers?"

"Oh get over yourself. It was necessary."

"If it was necessary, why was I not informed?"

He pulled his arm from her hold, his eyes blazing. "If you had paid attention to any of the words Castle spoke instead of sulking, you would've known."

"So its my fault-"

"Yes, yes it fucking is."

Y/n stilled, staring at him. In all the time she'd known him, he had never gotten this riled up, even when they fought.

He shoved a hand through his hair, turning and stalking off toward the male barracks, leaving Y/n wondering.

I do plan to release more info on Isla and Monica's relationship (might make a sideblog for them..🤭), so I'll talk about her relationship with Asuka! (Please let me know if you differ with my thoughts and whatnot :'D)

Firstly, I'm going to just add the things we talked about in dms about them because other people need to know about these things💪🔥🔥:

• The reason Asuka dyed his hair that specific shade of green is because it's the colour of Isla's eyes!💚(And so he wouldn't forget what colour they are.. *sobs*).

Because of this, Isla owns a necklace that has a jewel that's the same colour of Asuka's eyes (brown)!🤎Although she doesn't always wear it, she holds it very dear to her <3

• Asuka sings to himself in French, especially when he's stressed out, because Isla used to sing to him when he was little (I'm still not normal about this information, btw). I imagine Isla still does this, just not as often as she used to.. (Little sample of Isla's voice claim for reference).

• Idk if this was already obvious, but Isla's nationality is French! At least she would be.. if she wasn't in space.. like in the Modern AU? But depending on what you've decided on for Asuka's ethnicity, they could both be mixed..?

• Isla likes to use different variations of Asuka's name as a form of endearment! ('Asu,' 'Ka,' 'Suka,' 'Susu,' etc.) Asuka would probably do the same for Isla, most prominently 'Lala,' because I like to think that when they were younger, Asuka couldn't properly pronounce Isla's name, so he ended up calling her that as a substitute, and the name just sorta stuck lol. Honestly, with how Reo treats and handles Nagi, you can definitely tell that he will never treat you as a second choice or fallback option.
