which is exactly what he does when you manage to get him home. it's kind of awkward because he doesn't kiss many people and he's also drunk and gangly and looming over you, but you let him crowd you against his front door until the both of you nearly run out of breath.

and you push him away gently with a quiet laugh, telling him, "okay, slow your roll, loverboy. how about we do this when you're sober, huh?" because you're not sure if he means it and you don't want to get your hopes up for something he won't even remember tomorrow.

As cute as that post is, the hc i live behind is that Bruce has been surrounded by rich people all his life and is so aware of the kind of nasty shit they do that hes like hyperaware of protecting his kids in the Right way, and that means being extremely blunt and nonchalant about sexual things they may or may not do. OKAY SO— thank you to everyone who had been sticking around either interacting/talking with me or just lurking around or just liking/rb’ing. just knowing everyone’s presence is really nice and it means a lot that my posts can bring this kind of interest.

i may be repeating myself a lot but i intended to use this blog as an escape in the beginning, and i'm honestly so glad i started posting when i did. the last thing i expected was making wonderful new experiences with everyone.

all the kind words and the beautiful gifts mean a lot to me more than anyone can imagine (impostor syndrome can be a bit wild hdbdj). especially reading everyone's personal messages. they have genuinely been getting me through the end of the year. i know ive been sort of vague about it (or idk this became a BIT TMI djdhjd) but y’all unknowingly saved a life.

SO WHEN I SAY WORDS MEAN A LOT. I MEAN THEY REALLY DO. no matter how small or big you think they are. they’ve helped me so much and it really keeps me going. i seriously can’t stop expressing my gratitude enough i’ve met SO many people here i didn’t think i’d become friends with.

i think a lot about how Leo didn't use his cabin on the Argo II, and instead just always slept in the engine room or on deck (or let's be real, probably in the walls once or twice). And how Nico and Reyna never even got cabins on the Argo II, since they were unexpected passengers and so probably had to just sleep in the sickbay (if they slept at all, which they probably insisted they didn't need to - or fell asleep in odd spots around the ship) and so were forced to be roommates for a little bit before their quest, or shared a room with someone else on the ship.

Arcanists are less durable.

It's mentioned a handful of times how it's important for combat between arcanists to be quick and efficient. While they can be physically strong even beyond human standards, their limits are far shorter in comparison. They're far more prone to taking physical and mental damage quicker with their quick healing/recovery to make up for it, but not change just how fragile they are.

This is very insightful too as to why arcanists would be more inclined to fight using arcanum instead of physically as much as possible. Their arcanum gives them an upper hand where their physical stamina is lacking.
