whenever  the  full  moon  came  closer  ,  juniper  often  found  herself  looking  at  the  sky.  it  was  one  of  life's  big  mysteries  ,  something  she'd  never  been  able  to  work  out  and  that  had  intrigued  researchers  for  centuries.  it  had  been  the  one  light  she'd  had  in  a  past  life  and  as  much  as  she  considered  herself  a  woman  of  facts  she  could  appreciate  the  romantic  mystery  of  it.  "do  you  think  the  moon  knows  the  power  she  has  over  us  ?"  it  was  said  to  no  one  in  particular  ,  though  she  cast  a  quick  glance  to  the  side  at  her  companion  ,  wondering  if  such  things  moved  them  as  well.  "i  mean  ,  she's  so  strong  and  has  had  the  most  clever  of  people  confounded.  i  want  to  know  if  she  knows  all  she  does  to  ,  or  for  ,  us."

juni  had  always  been  a  bit  of  a  whirlwind.  that  was  something  her  sisters  had  always  said.  it  was  with  that  airy  nature  that  she  stumbled  into  the  shop  just  after  it  opening  ,  rushed  to  get  there  during  her  break  after  her  first  lecture.  she  was  an  avid  visitor  ,  mostly  because  she  had  a  penchant  for  forgetting  or  losing  things  when  she  needed  them  most.  "okay  ,  i  know  you  won't  believe  me  when  i  say  that  i  –  oh  ,  pretty."  she  was  momentarily  distracted  by  the  beautiful  divination  board  mina  was  working  on.  detailed  work  such  as  those  were  something  juniper  knew  she  could  never  do  ,  but  she  appreciated  the  beauty  and  dedication  it  took  to  make  something  like  it.  "oh  ,  right  ,"  she  shook  her  head  to  regain  focus.  "i  know  you  won't  believe  me  ,  but  i  lost  my  protection  ward  again."  the  small  stones  had  the  strangest  ability  to  just  vanish  into  thin  air.  "and  i  need  one  to  demonstrate  for  my  next  class.  do  you  have  anything  ?"

mina was in the middle of working on her newest divination boards that she would be putting on sale soon, it had been a bit time consuming whilst traveling to other covens for trade. it had been a long time since mina had gotten good at what she was doing, divination boards were personal, and she had a few orders from commissions, but the ones that she was currently working on were purely for the store. she had her own set up where she could see if someone entered through the front, and on right above all the divination boards was her very first one that she had ever made, not for sale, but just as proof that through time and care, you can learn to make something better. they had always been patient, but those first few years of coming to portum had been rough it was like learning something that you always had hidden but never knew what to do with. she feels it before she hears someone entering the shop, she looks up walking over towards them before they even enter. "good morning," their smile is small, fingers resting on the counter.

I am late for the train, but I started playing Andromeda Six 2 days ago and now I’m obsessed with this guy.

Tbh, I'm kind of obsessed with the almost tragedy of Eiland and Caldarus in Fields of Mistria. Eiland's dedicated his life to uncovering the secrets and stories hidden in Mistria's archeology - he's single-mindedly devoted to it, so much so that even his side hobbies are influenced by his love of history and desire to know more about Mistria's but it's that devotion that makes him so blind to the magic right in front of him.

It's Eiland's sharp eye that sees Caldarus' statue behind that tree on the farm. It's Eiland who whacks away at the bark with the axe fruitlessly until he's assisted. It's Eiland who coaxes the player to help repair Caldarus' statue and subtly ropes them into joining his History Society. It's Eiland who is devoted to the steles, who gets so excited at the prospect at uncovering a new piece of old Mistria's puzzle that he cuts his outing short to rush to the museum. It's Eiland who realises that all of the different eras of artefacts dug up in Mistria's soil must mean that Mistria itself was once the cradle of civilisation for Aldaria.

And yet, with all of that knowledge, he's still so, so blind to what's right in front of him. He doesn't realise that Juniper is a witch, he merely knows that she is familiar with all manner of the arcane and assumes it's a scholarly pursuit like his instead of what it actually is - Juniper's lifestyle, Juniper's culture. And ultimately, I think that's why he's blind to Caldarus and the magic right in front of him.

Eiland isn't taking the time to stop and really think about what all these artefacts and armaments mean. He isn't considering that remnants of old Mistria still live, he isn't even able to grapple with the question of whether or not it's right for him to dig up the armour at the stele when it's clearly hidden there for a reason. Eiland is completely detached from the history he's searching for and that's why, even with magic and the truth about Mistria right in front of him, he'll remain blind to it.

"rafe, you did a lot more than just hold me up while i was getting on my feet again." not that she was really that bad. okay, that was a lie. it took a while for sage to even get her out of the house and with the help of rafe she started to feel normal again; happy.

Junip had been doing his own sort of investigation on the odd happenings around the game.. but not the kind others would expect.

One of the individuals trapped here, Scribbles- had caught his attention. She was rather loud and annoying.. and often bothered him with her nonsense. But.. he didn't exactly hate her company.

The thing about Scribbles though- is that something odd would happen whenever She was around. She'd tend to get quiet randomly, her face would get distorted for a moment whenever someone would get a lead on the murder, and she'd always avoid questions or give vague answers when confronted..

Something was definitely off about her. But it's impossible for her to be the killer- She just got here! Still.. it's a bit odd.. with the way she's been acting, she has to be hiding SOMETHING.

So a bit of investigation wouldn't hurt... would it?

So far nothing seemed far out of the ordinary. Her gear.. her sleeping bag nest thing she sleeps in- Even her backup scarf. All pretty harmless things. But after a bit of messing around in the mess known as her bed- Junip noticed something hidden beneath the blankets.. a Book? A sketchbook from the looks of it.

Once he had managed to sneak into Scribbles Tent, he decided to do a little snooping. She shouldn't be back for a while anyways since she had went off with Pomni & Caine to follow a lead pointing to Jax this time. Since she was smitten with him she's bound to linger.

It's not like it's her diary or anything so it wouldn't hurt to peak a little. He didn't know she liked to draw.

It all seemed harmless enough and didn't seem to be of much bother- Untill noticed something. Hold on.. half of these pages have little corners folded onto eachother.. the pages were sticking.

He flipped through the pictures, letting out a snort at the ridiculous faces she would draw and the sketches of the others.. and quite a few of Jax. Someone has a crush, obviously. But hey, that's not his business. Oh man.. there are even some sketches of him. His eyes aren't that big.

One was Scribbles Handwriting.. the other was someone elses... and what it said made Junip get VERY concerned..!

After a bit of careful separation, there was a bit of Green goo on the pages. Plus the paper inside wasn't sized correctly- like it was just stuck inside the book. There was also some writing on the pages.. two different handwritings.

'They're getting too Close to figuring things out. I thought you said you can handle it.'

'I-Im trying.. Please-! Just give me one More chance..! Please don't make me-'

'I've give you plenty of chances- and yet they still manage to get closer. I'm sorry, but I can't get caught now. it's time for you to do what I brought here you for.'

'Please don't- I..!'

' Do you understand?'

'....Yes.. as you command. I will remove them.'

' Good girl.'

"R-Remove them!?"

Junip's face grew paler- if that was even possible. Remove them!? Scribbles.. Is in cahoots with the killer!? What's going on!?

Judging by the frantic and messy Handwriting, Scribbles was clearly in distress when she was writing.. but- the fact that it suddenly changed to a more neater and proper Handwriting was unnerving.

And she's alone with Pomni & Caine RIGHT NOW.

Hold on. She said she was going to Remove them.

Oh no.

OH NO NO NONO NO-! HES GOT TO WARN THEM!!

He wasted no time. With the sketchbook underneath his arm he burst from Scribbles tent and started off running towards the last place he saw them heading.

He just prayed he wasn't too late...!

lula found herself staring at juniper, trying to decipher if she was some cruel mirage her mind had conjured up. she'd been entirely confused when she'd left the crash site and it wouldn't surprise her if that hadn't eased off giving the unsettling conditions she'd been surviving in. "i'm — i'm fine," it came out with a laugh of disbelief. since beyond being a little bashed, bruised and hungry she was actually okay. better than some people she'd seen at the site of the crash. she couldn't stop herself from moving closer again, having to reach for juniper to touch her to ensure that she was real. "how are you? are you okay?"
