So I'm so excited about Death's game. I really am. I remember reading the manhwa and every chapter had me gripping my phone in excitement.

But the only thing strange is that they cast Seo In Guk as Choi Yijae.

(Yes I'm sure he's going to deliver like he always does. And have you seen the cast? Man this is an expensive show! And each actor is going to play at max 2 episodes.)

Like Choi Yijae, at the beginning of the manhwa, was shown to be the most average of average guys. Not exceptional in any field.

Average height. Average looks. Not tall and not good looking. This fact, was put a lot of importance on, because it was an important part of his character.

And, I don't know... it's kind of really wrong 😂 that they cast *Seo In Guk* to play a guy that is "not tall and not good looking".

Man, I'm not ready for Lovely Runner to end in just a few days. It's like the one thing that has helped me get through my current work project in the past two months. I hadn't mentioned on here how much I loved it because... Well, I guess I wanted to keep it to myself until it ended, if that makes any sense. SUMMARY: Being a prosecutor in Seoul comes with a lot of national clout. Being a prosecutor in a small seaside town...is important too.

THIS SHOW HAS EVERYTHING: Bosses in bicycle shorts, working moms, binge drinking, gaming alter egos, secluded mountain Hwatu gambling rings, 11-year old bullies, failed stewardess hook-ups, secret bars, dried pollack and somaek, exhalted university trinkets, office turtlenecks, and rooftop rendezvous.

HOT TAKE: No hooks or tropes here, just a run-of-the-mill prosecutor drama that breaks the 4th wall a few times to remind you how absurd humanity is.
