thinking about the holidays cutting close, and price has nobody to return home to to spend it with. johnny and simon are off on their own, and kyle’s returned home to visit his mother.

thinking he was going to spend it alone, he’s pleasantly surprised when you offer him a spot on your journey home to visit your own family.

“nobody should be alone for christmas, captain,” you say, and who was he to say no?

he joins you on the train home, thinking perhaps he was overstepping. this was your family, not his, and he’s intruding on a holiday meant to be spent with them. but of course, you continue to tell him you don’t mind, that they’ll love to have his company.

that’s how he ends up sat at the dinner table surrounded by your parents and siblings, listening in as they tell stories of you as a child. it was clear you were embarrassed, from the way you hid your face in your hands, but the sound of chiming laughter brought him joy for the first time in a long time.

and when you bring him dessert with a smile, placing it in front of him before taking a seat next to him, he easily found himself growing more content by the minute.

it was dangerous for him to feel so comfortable in a family that isn’t his, especially yours. after all, you were his comrade, one of his own that he could trust out on the field with his life.

but when the feast ended and everybody stalks off to their respective beds to rest until christmas morning came, he laid awake with his gaze to the ceiling, succumbing to the realization that he enjoys this.

enjoys it in a way where he silently wishes that it was the two of you hosting christmas dinners as a family, one of your own.

his gift seemed to have come a day early, and it was realizing he was in love with you. all he needed was a christmas miracle for you to feel the same.

made the mistake of listening to all i want for christmas is you, so now we’re in a christmas mood ???? anyways, mindless ramble as always before i go to bed, don’t take this seriously <3

Once again bringing up the fact that albinism is always tied to varying degrees of visual impairment. Disability is inherent in our condition and glossing over this (due to ignorance or not) is an act of ableism and fetishisation. Before you create an original character or any sort of fiction you ought to not stick to lazy research. Albinism affects real people, not just animals and social stigma because of our looks is only half of the story. Please do not contribute to a superficial understanding of an already rare and not researched enough condition, happy 10 years of international albinism awareness day.

After a month (well, actually, like three weeks of that was... not touching this) I'm finally done with the Leyendecker piece!!

I've only been drawing for a few months so any advice/feedback is welcome ^^

That one au where every time you tell a lie it becomes a scar on your body and the more you tell it, the worse it gets

Ghost who's covered in scars from head to toe, such that it makes him untrustworthy to everyone, save for the people who truely know him

And soap with almost no scars except for one deep scar that runs diagally down his back, and people tend to trust him until they see it

Ghost has so many because that what he does, that's his job, that's how he survived his ENTIRE life. So yeah he's gonna have a lot of scars and wound from it, that's not exactly gonna stop his survival instincts

Soap is genuinely an honest man, but he's been in the military long enough to see plenty a soldiers die, many of whom he knew or commanded or what have you. They're all always afraid, so soap's gonna comfort them, tell them it'll be okay, tell they he'll get them out, tell them he's not scared to falter. Even if he knows it's a lie. Sometimes it's ignorance that people need. Fake it 'til you make it right?

I got home from applying to one job and crashed. I had a little cry when I realized I couldn’t wring anymore productivity out of myself.

I confessed to my beloved that I really wanted to take all of May to rest after my degree but our rent is going up and we need to move and having a job seems imperative.

They reassured me that I should take May. I just did a rigorous four year program while struggling with two different chronic fatigue illnesses and I’m just so burned out.

So I applied to one place and it was all of my spoons and now I’m gonna rest and plan a little weekend getaway for us.
