it’s almost 5am but seriously prime defenders is sooo fucked uo because it addresses its big themes in such a gutwrenching way somehow with the main 4 but Then it’s also like. dakota coleee. like what if we showed such a raw and kindhearted display of substance abuse and we didn’t demonize addicts for once. what if we provided a realistic example of a child who was neglected and simply refused to say much about it but looking back the signs are insanely clear in the little details. what if the story showed somebody forgiving themselves for the guilt that was originally their driving fucking force because somewhere along the way they shifted from wanting to save people to absolve themself of their grief,, to wanting to save people to save people. like obviously dakota wanted to save people Just to save people all along but something changed something shifted in his motivations and he stopped beating himself up and shouldering the weight of worlds with no complaint. prime defenders is like What If we designed this Guy Specifically to kill You and then fucked off into the horizon for 10 months
