I’m thinking about Chip. I’m thinking about how he went down in an instant, without so much as a glance from anyone else because they’re busy dealing with their own shit. Thinking about how Gillion wasn’t even there to see him go down. Thinking about chips last thought being somewhere along the lines of how many people he wouldn’t be able to properly say goodbye to. Thinking about the whole “life flashing before your eyes” thing, and about how Chips life didn’t flash before his eyes. What did?

Orange hair and a roll of bright blue eyes.

Blue skin and the elecicity that he’d come to associate with protection.

Soft smiles.

Warm hugs.

The image of the words “millennium Chipper” re-carved into the side of the boat after he’d scratched it out.

An oath.

The best kiss of his life, and the two people he loves most in the world.

And the fact that he never got to tell them properly.

They know. He knows they do, but he never got to tell them. He never got to tell Arlin either, and now maybe he won’t ever see him again. Maybe the last time he ever saw Arlin was being sucked into a hole in the sea. And the last time he ever saw Gillion was getting crushed by a fountain (even if he didn’t, not really, but technically it was the last time Chip saw him). And the last time he saw just was just before he closed his eyes, her face screwed up in an expression of pain as she clutched her leg.

Thinking about Gillion bursting into the room, seeing Jay on the floor, her leg mangled. Thinking about him being full of energy and ready to fight before glancing around and there- Chip is crumpled to the floor and he’s not- he’s not breathing.

For a moment, he wonders if it’s a trick, the way he tricked everyone by making it look like the fountain had killed him. But deep down, he knows it’s not. He knows that Chip is lifeless, and suddenly, for the first time in Gillion’s life, he doesn’t want to fight. His gut instinct isn’t to kill someone this time, it’s to ignore the person who did this and instead fall to the ground next to Chip and figure out how to keep him alive.

Once Chip’s back, because he WILL be, Gillion gets a look on his face that no one’s ever seen before. It resembles the look he got when Pretzel was taken but this time? This time is so much worse.

Episode 108 (spoilers?) got me thinking about how Jay might make her own prosthetics with some fun modifications and whatnot. My personal headcanon is that the wing tattoos go down the backs of her arms and envelop them when active, so by losing an arm she would lose a wing as well.

hey Jrwi spanish speakers, since Gillion now Canonically speaks Spanish, what do you think he speaks? Spain Spanish or Mexican Spanish?

As a Mexican I vote latam Spanish purely because:

1) Gillion gives Axolotl vibes

2)Teal originates from Mexico (if i remember correctly) so it fits his color aesthetic.

3) Him saying "Pinche Pendejo, no mames wey" to Chip would make me lose it.

I think the crew should just power of friendship this shit. Queen should play a rhapsody so banger that they all instantly level up and beat the shit out of everyone. Griffin should introduce an even more powerful even more incorrectly pronounced weapon and blow the enemy crew up.

I know we're all traumatized from the whole heart thing, but how would Ollie and Lizzie react? I haven't seen much talk about how the grand berry pirates and Ollie's family would react (I am pretending Enza is like his wine aunt).

Imagine Ollie running back to Enzas when he realizes the teloporter activated to see a bunch of new people that he knows the captians helped. Imagine him meeting Star or Zamnia and asking about Chip or the other pirates and how they would react. Would they see this small miniture chip and say that they helped them get rid of an evil piratecrew and Ollie proceeds to tell the others about the Riptide Pirates adventures while everything got sorted or would they sadly look down at this little boy and begin to explain the events that occurred with captian widow but before either of them could finish Ollie is out of the house barely holding back tears.

And what about Lizzie? How would she react? Imagine the grandberry Pirates running into Star and Zamnia and the two realizing Lizzie knows Chip. Imagine them sorrowly having to tell Lizzie about what happened to Chip because they know they can't hide it from her and that she deserves to know (I am not saying Ollie doesn't deserve to know). And how would Lizzie react to learning Chip, Her little brother is Half-Dead. Even if they aren't related, Chip is still her little brother, her little brother that went missing for Years before they were reunited. Would she begin to cry? Politely excuses herself? Or would she push it down again because it was only a matter of time until he got himself killed like the rest of the Black Rose Crew? Like Arlin?

I am just saying we have a bunch of potential Angst fics..
