Your last fics tearing my hearts apart😭😭Anyways may I request jotaro kujo with a pregnant s/o? He probably would be defensive like that time when Holly got the fever
Ah yes! We have another 2-for-1 special! But let's make it a list of headcanons to switch things up 😉This one's for @lolsandlmaos and anon, and let me just say, yes; I love writing wholesome dadtaro content and I'm glad the audience likes some wholesome dadtaro content too. So, hope you enjoy! ♡
Before I start, can we all just silently agree that Jotaro really just wanted a family of his own canonically?
Think about it, we know he isn't the type to sleep around at random. What if the man wanted what his grandparents had and live a life without the Stand bs? The fact he found somebody and had a kid with her tells us that he tried to make it work, but we know that it didn't as we see in the series.
"I've always cherished you"
He wanted that life. He wanted to be a good father to his daughter. But he couldn't because of the family curse.
Anyways! Let's forget the canon for a moment and delve into some wholesome headcanons!
When he first heard the news, he was pleasantly surprised that he couldn't speak for a solid minute. He simply stared at you with wide eyes and stunned silence.
Later that day, the man is glued to your side holding you in his arms and he's uncharacteristically showing affection: He's nuzzling your neck, planting kisses wherever he could, gently swaying you back and forth, and most importantly, he's often caressing your flat tummy.
Now that's done with, Jotaro's already gone into Papa Wolf mode as early as the first weeks
He knows he isn't the sunny Golden Retriever type of guy like his grandfather or great-grandfather, so he isn't naturally attuned to being a first-time dad. Lowkey, he's anxious he might end up as a shitty husband in the process.
But what he does know is that he loves to research, is adaptable, and is a quick learner
He begins to visit the nearby library and study "maternal and child care". Then proceeds to go over what to do for each trimester, he studies proper diet and eating patterns for pregnant partners, and studiously digests a whole book's worth of "How to be a Good Father".
Being in this mode also means he naturally becomes protective of you. He makes sure that he has time for you and your needs. Want to go anywhere out of the house? He'll be accompanying you there. No doubt.
If anyone even remotely makes a rude remark about you, Star Platinum has already punched their teeth out.
If you thought Jotaro couldn't cook, then think again because when his partner is pregnant, you bet your ass that he'll learn how to cook faster than you expected him to.
At first, he's still working on the basics like knowing what ingredients and kitchen paraphernalia should be used. He has a recipe book or two propped up for him to skim over and study. He even calls Holly for cooking tutorials when he feels like he's hit a learning slump. His mother has already booked a ticket to your place and immediately teaches her son numerous cooking lessons
Weeks later, you're surprised that Jotaro has become a natural in the kitchen, being able to dish out your favorites with seemingly no issue. It turns out that while Jotaro did most of the work, he had Star assist him with the "finer" stuff (i.e. measurements, cutting, etc.)
Suffice it to say, he takes pride in himself that he can now make you smile with his newfound talent.
Then there are the cravings. Of course, when you ask him to buy the most random food combinations, Jotaro would simply say "okay" and buy them anyway, as long as the food choices weren't harmful to you and the baby. He'd also give you food even if you asked him in the ass crack of morning.
Anything to make you happy after all
When it comes to building the nursery, Jotaro leaves you to do the interior designing and aesthetic choices since he's shit at that. But when the furniture arrives in their boxes, then it's time for him to step in and does all the arranging, moving, and assembling for you. Have a planned layout? He'll follow them. Want the walls painted a certain color? No problem.
After you planned everything out and he finished his tasks, the nursery ended up being marine-themed with all the pastel blues and aquatic decor like sea animal plushies, a shell lamp, glow-in-the-dark fish wall stickers, and more bringing life to the place.
Remember when I said he'd do work, yeah he'll do the work. House husband style. He'll do the chores and let you rest, grumpily insisting you sit and relax when you try to convince him that you can do the lighter tasks.
From time to time, when both of you aren't doing anything, Jotaro would occasionally turn to your round stomach and reach forward to caress it, blushing as he does so.
Then a kick happens and the man's fully attuned to you in awe. On the outside, he's still a calm dude but deep down, he's so excited that the baby responded to his touch. You ended up scooting closer to him, seeking cuddles while he reciprocates as he still continues to stroke your tummy.
Jotaro, at this point in his life, has the patience of a monk towards his loved ones, so when the mommy mood swings kick in, he is more than ready to adapt to your every emotional breakdown even if he's just going to be there to either take it, calm you, or comfort you in silence
That also includes the part where you become horny. Of course, he'll be gentler with you during this time of your pregnancy, but he can't help but include a few rough bucks of his hip when he's about to go off the edge.
Other times, just touching you can help ease that heightened libido
He'll immediately drive you to the hospital once your water breaks. He'll wait with you throughout labor, hoping his soft caresses are enough to make up for his lack of comforting words. At times, Star will come out to help him distract you from the contractions.
He'd pace around outside the delivery room, anxious with his mind already overthinking what bad could happen to you and the baby. It's a good thing Holly is there to help reassure her son that his wife and child would be okay.
When Jotaro finally gets to visit, his eyes land on the swaddled little one in her tiny crib stationed beside your bed. He beelines straight to it and pauses in complete awe at the tiny baby cooing before him.
You can't help but giggle as your husband's eyes start to water as he gingerly reaches down to pick up his newborn daughter. He's still in awe, completely fixated on baby Jolyne.
Then after he sits down on the chair by your bedside, he brings his index to touch her and his heart skips a beat when the baby grasps it with her whole hand.
And the waterworks are broken and he ends up leaning against your side while you nuzzle against him as he tries to regain composure from tearing up so much from seeing and feeling his bundle of joy.
Admittedly, Jotaro is scared about whether he'd do a good job being a father, but to both you and himself, he promises that he'll do his damn best.

write a stor about Jotaro Kujo from Jojos Bizzare Adventures falling in love with (y/n) who is his classmate. But (y/n) is scared of him at first because of his reputation and brooding looks and personality, so she initially tries to avoid him.
Hearts Unveiled
In the bustling halls of Morioh High School, Jotaro Kujo was an enigmatic figure. His tall frame, dark attire, and brooding demeanor gave him an aura of mystique and intimidation. He had a reputation as a stoic and fearless student, which only added to the intrigue surrounding him.
(Y/N), a recent transfer student, found herself drawn into the whirlwind of Morioh High's social dynamics. Her first day was met with whispers and warnings about the enigmatic Jotaro Kujo. Tales of his fearsome Stand, Star Platinum, and his involvement in bizarre adventures had created an aura of fear and respect around him.
As (Y/N) navigated the crowded hallways, she couldn't help but notice Jotaro's presence. He stood out like a lone wolf among the bustling pack of students, his sharp gaze piercing through the chaos. Every glance from him seemed like an evaluation, as if he could see through the very soul of those he looked at.
At first, (Y/N) did her best to avoid Jotaro. She hurried past him in the hallways, avoided eye contact, and chose seats as far from him as possible in the classroom. Her friends often teased her about her overreaction to the rumors about Jotaro, but she couldn't help it.
As days turned into weeks, (Y/N) couldn't ignore the fact that Jotaro seemed to be everywhere. He was in her classes, at lunch, and even on the way home. It felt as if their paths were destined to cross, even though she desperately tried to stay away.
One day, while waiting for the bus after school, (Y/N) noticed that she had left her book in the classroom. She cursed her forgetfulness and decided to hurry back to retrieve it. Little did she know that this moment would change everything.
As she entered the classroom, she saw Jotaro standing there, his tall figure silhouetted against the afternoon sun. Panic surged within her, and she debated whether to leave and come back later. But before she could make a decision, Jotaro turned and looked at her.
Their eyes met, and a jolt of fear coursed through (Y/N)'s veins. She felt trapped, unable to move or speak. Jotaro, however, surprised her by simply nodding in acknowledgment before turning back to his own business.
That small act of indifference puzzled (Y/N). She had expected him to be as intimidating as the rumors suggested, but he had barely paid her any attention. Over the following days, (Y/N) couldn't help but steal glances at Jotaro, trying to understand the enigma that was Jotaro Kujo.
Gradually, she noticed subtleties about him that the rumors had never mentioned. He had an air of confidence, but it was neither intimidating nor arrogant. He was protective of his friends, often stepping in to help or defend them. He had a deep sense of justice that resonated with (Y/N)'s own values.
One evening, as the sun cast long shadows across the schoolyard, (Y/N) found herself alone at a bench, lost in thought. She remembered how Jotaro had quietly nodded at her that day in the classroom, and it made her wonder if her initial fears had been unfounded.
As if on cue, Jotaro appeared, sitting down next to her without a word. (Y/N) tensed up, but he didn't seem to mind her presence. Instead, he began to speak about their classmates, sharing anecdotes and insights that (Y/N) found surprisingly amusing.
As they continued to talk, (Y/N) discovered a side of Jotaro that no one else seemed to know. He had a dry sense of humor that could make her laugh, and he had an inquisitive mind that was eager to learn about her interests. He was nothing like the rumors suggested, and she couldn't help but be captivated by his complex personality.
Over the weeks that followed, Jotaro and (Y/N) found themselves spending more time together. They talked about everything under the sun, from their dreams and aspirations to the mysteries of the universe. It was as if their conversations were a bridge that connected their hearts.
As they got to know each other, (Y/N) realized that she had misjudged Jotaro. He was not the intimidating figure she had initially perceived him to be. Instead, he was a caring and thoughtful person, a friend who stood by her through both challenges and triumphs.
One evening, under the starry sky, Jotaro confessed something that took (Y/N) by surprise. "I think I'm falling for you," he admitted, his voice soft and sincere.
(Y/N)'s heart skipped a beat, and she looked into his eyes, searching for any sign of insincerity. But all she found was a vulnerability she had never seen before. It was a vulnerability that matched her own feelings, feelings she had been too scared to acknowledge.
With trembling words, (Y/N) confessed her own feelings. "I think I'm falling for you too."
In that moment, they both realized that love had bloomed in the most unexpected of places. Their initial fears and misgivings had given way to a deep and genuine connection that defied all expectations.
From that day forward, Jotaro Kujo and (Y/N) shared a love story that was as unique as it was profound. They faced life's challenges together, and their love only grew stronger with each passing day. It was a love that transcended appearances and rumors, proving that sometimes, the most unexpected connections could lead to the deepest and most genuine love.
As they walked hand in hand through the halls of Morioh High School, Jotaro and (Y/N) knew that their love was a testament to the power of understanding, acceptance, and the beauty that could be found in the most unconventional of beginnings.

The subject of most of Jotaro and Kakyoin’s arguments is about Jotaro being overprotective and overbearing. Deep down, Kakyoin knows that Jotaro doesn’t genuinely see him as weak, and this overprotective nature comes from a place of love and concern. But at times, Kakyoin can’t help but feel like he’s being patronised.
Like when Kakyoin suffered a minor injury from a stand fight, and despite Kakyoin’s assurance that he’s perfectly okay to walk on his own, Jotaro insisted that he carry Kakyoin, in bridal style too. When it comes to protecting his Nori, Jotaro doesn’t seem to take ‘no’ for an answer. In the end, Kakyoin is forced to be carried all the way back to their hotel, which is a 2 kilometre walk btw, like a damn baby.
Another time, and when one of their biggest arguments occurs, is when Jotaro repeatedly refused to let Kakyoin join him on his trip to Morioh. Making all sorts of excuses such as, “We don’t know what kind of danger is out there” and “Jolyne will miss you” and “You’ve been having a lot of flare ups lately. A lengthy plane ride will be bad for you”. Kakyoin expressed his frustrations and somehow was able to persuade Jotaro into allowing him to accompany him.
And of course there’s how Jotaro treats anyone who has wronged his Nori. He’s as fierce as a mother wolf and is willing to inflict gruesome punishments on them. From people who talk back to Kakyoin in a harsh way to the typical obnoxious stand user, no one is safe. He won’t kill them or even critically injure them (this depends on whether or not it’s a normal guy or a stand user), but a nice traumatising fight will do wonders to ensure that they won’t ever mess with Kakyoin again.
To put it all simply, the Egypt crusade changed Jotaro and he won’t hold back when it comes to protecting his beloved.

"Running under the Moon" i s m y c h o i c e
Ah, the ever classic werewolf, my beloved ;3
This is probably the one that is closest to being done. So… werewolf fic coming maybe soon? 👀
Walking through the woods, Jotaro - not for the first time - found himself cursing his lineage.
Just because he happened to be born into this family, just because he was unlucky enough to have taken over the trait from his parents, just because he was stupid enough to reject this part of himself, Jotaro found himself walking through these massive woods every month on the evening of a full moon.
Werewolves.
The Joestar family - and by proxy the Kujo family - were cursed with a wolven bloodline.
And that is all it was to Jotaro. A curse. A curse that needed to be stomached every month. No matter his mother’s warnings or attempts at convincing him otherwise, Jotaro refused to accept the carnal part that rested within him.
Both his mother and father were werewolves too, though ‘pack mentality’ clearly wasn’t a thing within his dad, and Holly had tried so hard to teach her son about this part of his life. How he could harness it, use it, deal with it. But every time, the 18 year old refused.
He did not want anything to do with the beast in him, and that made it why he was alone, deep in the woods, on his own. Ignoring it made it so that every full moon, he lost control. He turned into a ravaging wolf and for everyone’s safety, he chose to confine himself to a tiny three room cabin deep within the forest every month.
It was better to let the beast within rage harmlessly for one night a month.
Wasn’t it…?
Was it better? His mother said that if she let her teach him, he would be able to control his transformations. He could choose what to do on full moons and in the time in between. But doing that meant accepting what he was.
Frustrated by his thoughts, Jotaro let out an angry yell as he punched the nearest tree.
His father left at a young age. One of the few memories he has of his dad, was of the man in his wolf form. He stood opposite his mother, Jotaro clinging to her pant leg as he watched his dad huff and turn around, running off hard and fast without a word. Jotaro remembered looking up at his mom, hearing her sniffle softly and seeing tears in her eyes, and the seed of resentment was planted that night.
‘Wolf’ became synonymous with ‘the father that left’ and Jotaro’s resentment for his father morphed into resentment for the wolf within. No matter how often his mother had tried to convince him otherwise, growing up, Jotaro never changed his mind about it.
Walking past the giant oak he knew so well, the cabin soon came into view and Jotaro stopped for a second. Very distantly, a twig cracked behind himself, but due to his upcoming transformation his emotions were on max, and he snapped his head back, glaring into the quickly darkening forest, yet coming up empty handed.
Weary yet in a hurry, Jotaro continued moving, walking towards the cabin as the sun was nearly fully set. Pretty soon the moon would come up as the main source of light in the sky, and by then it wouldn’t be long before he’d turn.
Pushing the cabin door open, Jotaro made a rapid yet clean sweep of the house, making sure all was in place just in case.
Looking out the window, darkness had fully set and Jotaro sighed tiredly. It wouldn’t be long now.
Taking off his jacket, the delinquent took care to hang it over a chair before simply bringing the tank top over his head in a quick motion, leaving him in his bare chest.
Ain’t no way he was also gonna let his clothes be ruined by the bloody curse.
Taking off his belts, he removed them from the loops and placed them on the table before unbuttoning his pants.
Moving to pull them down and leave him in just his boxers, the door to the cabin suddenly flung open.
Snapping his head up, Jotaro’s eyes widened in horror at what he saw.
“Jotaro!”
Right there in the door opening, stood you, his best friend of years and recent crush.
Your eyes locked on his before they quickly travelled down his face, over his naked torso and to the unbuttoned pants he was clearly about to pull down, showing a hint of his underwear.
“Gah-! I’m sorry, bad timing!” You jumped back a bit and quickly covered your eyes while Jotaro felt a heat creep up his neck. Yet he quickly shook that off of himself, panic returning to the forefront of his mind as he quickly closed his pants again before storming forward.
Hearing his heavy footsteps approaching, you dared to peek through your fingers, only to see an angry Jotaro coming towards you. You didn’t have any time to move as he harshly gripped your upper arms, pulling you towards him while slamming the door shut with his foot, twirling around and pushing your back into it not a second later.
“What the hell are you doing here?! Did you follow me?!” He spoke angrily, bending down to be at your level while still keeping you pressed up against the door.
“J-Jotaro-!” You started but he instantly shut you up.
“No! What the fuck are you doing here?!”
“Wh- I was worried about you!” You now yelled back a little indignantly, matching his intensity, though your concern clearly shone through in your tone.
“Worried?!”
“You’ve been pulling away and becoming more and more reclusive! It’s just- I’m your best friend and I want to help you!” You spoke, looking into his eyes and seeing a flicker of doubt in them before he steeled himself, lowering his voice.
“We’ll talk on Monday. Right now, go home.”
“No, Jotaro, don’t push me away.” You pleaded but Jotaro firmly re-gripped your arms.
“Go. Home, Y/N.”
Despite his firm tone, you stood your ground, not taking it any longer. “No! I’m not gonna let you push me away again! Jotaro, I’m concerned about you. Please just talk to me!”
“Not now! You have to leave!”
“Why!?”
“Because it’s a full moon today!!” Jotaro yelled the last part out, looming over you before realising what he was doing. Quickly stepping back, he took some hasty breaths. He didn’t mean to raise his voice at you, but it was clearly already starting, his heightened emotions a telltale sign of the transformation.
“…What?” You questioned, your face a little pale after Jotaro yelled at you, for which he absolutely hated himself. The last thing he wanted to do is scare you. “What’s that got to do with…?” You slowly stepped forward, reaching out for the man but holding yourself back before you could touch him, remembering he wasn’t wearing a shirt.
“I’m a werewolf, Y/N.”
Your eyes widened in shock as you took a step back. Not in fear, just in pure surprise.
“In about thirty minutes the moon is high up in the sky and at that point, I don’t know what I will do. I’ll have no control and be just a beast.” Taking a step towards you, Jotaro once again gripped your arms, though this time a lot more gentle. “I can’t hurt you. You have to leave now and try to make it home before I can turn and attack you.”
Your breathing sped up a bit as you looked up at him with a sad look. “You think you’ll attack me?”
“I turn into a monster, Y/N. Yet I can’t decide what to do in that form. I can see everything, but I can’t do anything. Don’t make me watch myself eat you.”
Tears brimming in your eyes, you just shot forward, breaking from his hold to instead throw your arms around him. To hell with the fact that he had a bare chest. Squeezing as hard as you needed, you felt him loosely wrap his arms around you as well.
Looking down at the top of your head, Jotaro felt so many emotions swirling in him - once again curtesy of the curse. His heart thudded at the fact he was holding you, yet every rational part of his brain was screaming for you to run, fear and doubt at the forefront of his mind, though he put up a mask of calm. “How did you come here?” He asked gently.
“By bike.” Your voice was a little shaky as you answered and Jotaro’s arms briefly squeezed you before he pulled you away from his chest.
“Take it and ride as fast as you can. With some luck, you’ll manage to make it back to the city before I catch up; in the case I try to follow. Just keep going and don’t stop, do you hear me?” When you didn’t instantly answer, he shook your shoulders a bit, making you stutter out an affirmation.
Content, he walked over to the door and pulled it open, a frigid gust of wind blowing inside as he looked back at you.
“This is for your safety, Y/N. Remember that. Keep going and don’t stop.”
Walking to the doorway, you stopped right before you stepped outside, turning to your friend. “Will you be okay?”
At this, Jotaro nodded reassuringly. “I do this every month. Now just go.”

Finished the Stone Ocean manga! Here’s what I thought:
- Not entirely satisfied with the end of it, but that’s how these things go, and I was far from surprised with how much people talk about the ending without saying that there will be spoilers.
-I knew about the Möbius Strip moment ahead of time, but it was still super cool to see! C-Moon’s power in practice was disgusting, but the gravity concept was really cool!
- Bohemian Rhapsody was my favorite of the new stands in concept, but I found the execution a little hard to keep track of (the way the stand worked was clear, but like, if the person takes the narrative place of the character they like then you expect me to believe the BIG BAD WOLF was a beloved character for Anasui? the WOLF??? Now that i type it out it might be because of the “cutting him up” bit and Anasui’s weird fascination with disassembly but come ON WHO LIKES THE WOLF???) Overall i loved the stand though.
- At some point near the end Jolyne kinda stopped feeling like Jolyne to me. I think it just about lines up with when Jotaro shows up again, which makes sense because a lot of the stuff that makes Jolyne stand out is the confidence and boldness and all the Joestar traits that she shares with her father and having two characters acting that similar would be a bit difficult to execute, but it still was a little disappointing, because her biggest moment was the Möbius Strip thing and,,, helping Emporio get away so he could be the one to finish the fight? It makes sense with the plot, really, but it is a little bit disappointing because I kept thinking “Oh, Jolyne is gonna have a big main character moment against Pucci, right? That’s gonna be just up ahead, right?” and then it just didn’t happen like that. I mean, I’ve seen people say Giorno felt like a side character in his own part (which I couldn’t agree with less tbh) but even Giorno, and every other JoJo of their part, including Jonathan who died doing it, got to face off with the main antagonist in the end, so the two characters who stood up most to Pucci being Anasui and Emporio was a little hollow to me.
- That’s not to say I thought Jolyne was written badly or anything like that, it was just a little disappointing to me that her big fights where she gets to stand on her own and have her main character moment were against smaller villains/inside the Green Dolphin Street Prison, but against Pucci and in the overall plot of things it’s FF, or Jotaro, or she’s just defending herself, or Emporio is the one who gets to end the ripple effect Dio started that has ruined her life since she was a child. I wish she got to be more active in her own part, and even though the original Joestar “curse” ends with her, it doesn’t sit quite right to me that it wasn’t ended by her. Jolyne is punished by fate for being a Joestar, bad things happen to her, she tries to stop those things, but when she gets to the source of the problem, she just dies there. She doesn’t get to stand against it as an individual, she simply dies. When she finally gets to be free of the weight of being a Joestar, it, like most of the other major plot points in Stone Ocean, is just something that is done to her, an action that is executed onto Jolyne.
- I liked Miu Miu’s stand and the Jailhouse Lock arc, I think it’s a really cool stand and in contrast to the issue above, it’s always so nice when Jolyne gets to really end an issue herself. It was really fun to see Gwess again, and all her moments were funny and overall enjoyable. It’s a little bit odd to me how many of the Jolyne “personality” moments that I saw being hyped up as funny before reading Stone Ocean (e.g. spoiling the movie, forgetting her underwear) were just because of Jailhouse Lock and overall unrelated to her main personality, but that’s not a writing thing or anything, just a bit weird in reception.
- Was not big on Erme’s usage post Kiss Of Love And Revenge fight. She was really cool in the Versus fight and her creative stand usage made the fight really interesting and tbh carried it (although putting Jolyne in her mouth was…. interesting?) but besides that it kinda just felt like she took the backseat to an extreme degree, and pretty much constantly since they escaped Green Dolphin Street Prison I was waiting for something to happen with her, and going “man, i miss Ermes, I hope she shows up soon!” and she just didn’t do that like she did back in the prison.
- I think this feeds into my main issue with everything post-breakout, which is not a critique on writing but simply a personal tonal preference: the character’s lives were more or less directionless, in what i believe is an intentional and justified way. It makes a lot of sense writing-wise, due to their circumstances and motivations, but I couldn’t see any of them getting out of prison and having a life after. Even if the ending wasn’t spoiled for me, this would have been one of the biggest indicators that the main cast was eventually going to die, because there would have been nowhere for them to go once Pucci was defeated. With Polnareff, similarly to Ermes, he was willing to die to avenge Sherry, but Avdol and Kakyoin talked him out of it, and he had a goal after, and he was able to choose what to do once their adventure was over. But Ermes had one life goal, and that was to kill Sports Maxx. If she broke out and survived afterwards, she would be wanted forever, and if she waited 8 years to get out she would have to restart her life with no family, nothing to do, and multiple criminal charges including armed robbery. This lack of prospects is similar with Anasui and Jolyne. There are possibilities for what they could do in their lives if they had survived, but none of them were hinted to in the story and there were no signs they would be inclined to do anything in particular post Stone Ocean. In a way, this makes the ultimate ending of Irene and Anakiss a bit kinder, because it removes the influences in their life that made them become that way, but “universe reboots where things are better” has never been a trope that I enjoyed very much, potentially because the better conditions still do not apply to the original versions of the characters, and to them all the suffering they went through really was in vain, because the self that they know did not live to see those conditions. This is a completely fine tone to write and creative choice to make, but for me it comes off a bit too depressing to really enjoy it.
- also Pucci would not have even been an antagonist to the Joestar’s specifically if it wasn’t for Dio introducing him to the Joestar feud, and if Jotaro had just left that diary intact and locked it up or something nothing bad would have happened to Jotaro that led to the ultimate loss that they suffered until Pucci started doing the Green Baby stuff, which they would have been alerted to via the star birthmark and subsequently could have prevented a lot better than they did in canon with coordination and probably stopped completely but it’s not like Jotaro could have predicted Pucci so that’s fate i guess
- It seems like this is the end of the “larger group of friends” JoJo structure that was in SDC, Vento Aureo, and to a lesser degree Stone Ocean for now, which is a shame because i like that set-up more than i do duos/trios but what can be done, it’s not like i’m gonna stop reading the manga and hey, one can hope for part 9 to revert to that arrangement. Tbh this particular one doesn’t really think that that’s gonna happen, but one can hope.
- Overall i think the strongest and most enjoyable parts of Stone Ocean were Savage Garden to Bohemian Rhapsody. I want to be clear that even though i’m talking a lot about the parts i found a bit of a let-down, I did like Stone Ocean pretty well overall!
tl;dr I was slightly underwhelmed by the ending of Stone Ocean, but i’m still excited for the anime adaptation to finish, i’m just looking forward to everything up until the Jailhouse Lock arc ends specifically.
I’m gonna start Steel Ball Run soon, but honestly i’m kinda just gonna read it so i can get to Jojolion haha

imagine being Jotaro's twin, and you wake up one morning. You look in the bathroom mirror, only to realize you have fangs, claws, & slit pupils. You scream for Jotaro, who is groggy from the lack of sleep. He glares at you, "wait that's it? For fuck's sake, i thought it was a spider or something." Then he yells for your dear mother. "It's y/n, they're finally going through their transformation." Holly squeals before rushing over to you. (It turns out the Joestar family is a werewolf clan!)
I loved this idea so much that I kinda got carried away writing for it! I definitely would like to turn this into a two parter, so keep an eye out for the AO3 link! Until then, hope you enjoy!

...
“WAAAAAAAAAAAH!! BUBBA! BUBBA!”
Big brother instincts activated, Jotaro slammed the door to his room wide open, nearly putting a hole in the wall and causing the door to dangle haphazardly off its hinges. His footfall was heavy, bounding through the hallway and nearly knocking down the decorative plants. In the back of his mind, whatever wasn’t preoccupied with getting to you was worrying about his mother’s nagging about the second door he would have to break to find you. But door be damned, he had to get to you. You never screamed this loud unless something was terribly wrong...
He skidded to a halt in front of the open bathroom, thankful for once in his life that you had the nasty habit of leaving it open, and saw you curled into a ball on the floor. Jotaro wasted no time in dragging you up to sit on your knees and asking where it hurt, only to stop dead in his tracks when he got a good look at you.
“B-Bubba!” You whined, an unmistakable edge to it as you clutched your face. “I’m ugly!”
“You’ve always been ugly.” The words were out of his mouth before he could stop them, and you only cried harder and more violently, a little blood dribbling out of your mouth where extra canines had been growing over your normal set.
“What’s happening to me?!” You wailed. “Everything hurts, my mouth is bleeding, my hands are furry, there’s a fuzzy thing on my butt and when I tried to pull it off I scratched myself with my nails-...”
“Good God, just shut your yap already!” Jotaro snapped. “You’re alright, stand up by yourself!”
“Jotaro! What’s wrong?! What’s happened??”
The pattering of your mother’s slippers echoed throughout the hallway, she nearly slid on the wood floors when she came to an abrupt halt, watching in horror as Jotaro yanked you up violently by the arm and tried to get you to stop screaming and wailing. Evidently it wasn’t working, because the louder he barked orders at you to shut up the harder you cried, yelping every time he yanked you the wrong way.
“Fuckhead over here is going through the change!” He answered back, as though you’d merely gotten a zit. Jotaro was dangling you by your arm painfully, and you tried clawing at him to make him put you down.
Nothing bullied him into letting go until a dark look crossed your mother’s face.
“Let go Jojo.”
She used a voice you never heard before, and even more shocking was the fact that Jojo finally listened for once instead of bullying her and calling her horrible names. He immediately dropped you into her care, feigning disinterest like a scolded pet.
“Oh, my baby!” She cooed, a huge smile coming over her face as she took over trying to get you to stand on your own. “It’s going to be all ok now, sweet baby. Nothings wrong, and you’re not ugly. You’re growing up!”
“H-hwat???” You blubbered, acting like a child as your mother mopped up your face with her apron, not caring that your bloody mouth was staining the white fabric.
“Look baby! Look how pretty your fur is, oh... how cute, I hope you have the same pattern as your grandpa. Even your little tail... we need to get you all nice and brushed.”
“But I... I don’t understand!” You couldn’t wrap your head around it, your mother was more concerned with gushing over you and reassuring you about how cute you were, and all you could do was babble questions until your brother put it bluntly for you:
“You’re turning into a wolf stupid.”
“Jojo, we need to be encouraging.”
Your mother’s voice had a certain conviction to it, another mystery wrapped in an enigma as she glanced disapprovingly at her son. She began to tell you all about the changes that would take place over the next few months, asking if you remembered those puberty videos they showed you in school when you were eleven, and you did, quite vividly if you were being honest. Every month during the full moon you’d just go through the motions of transforming, until your body got used to it and the process became as natural to you as breathing. She assuaged your fears: no you weren’t going to become a bloodthirsty animal. No you weren’t a danger to your family. No you weren’t going to suddenly find other wolves attractive or any other silly fear you had. All it was she said was an extra step in growing up you had to take, kind of like puberty 2.0. Well, it was sort of like that for the Joestars anyway, going back as far as your great great grandfather’s parents, the mythological monster part coming from his mother Mary who was one of the last of the werewolves. The lineage was diluted, hence the pain at the beginning that was inevitable, because in order to be with her beloved for all eternity she had to bite him to turn him, thus every Joestar since had to experience a rather horrific baptism by blood when they came of age. It could have been avoided if the lineage had been kept human free, and you would have been born a fluffy puppy instead of a baby, but then where would we be if we couldn’t choose the ones we loved your mother reasoned.
“The only tricky little detail is keeping the secret of our immortality. Usually when we’ve felt enough is enough here among humans, we just pop off into the woods and enjoy our nice long life with our loved ones. You’ll even age differently, your face will stay wrinkle free, and the only difference is your hair will turn grey!”
“Wait a minute... you mean we can’t die and we just leave society to live in the woods?”
“Uh huh!”
“Like, the actual woods around our house?”
“Of course baby. Everyone lives in the woods, who do you think you hear howling every now and again when the moon is full? If you’d like, you can spend your moon time with your Grandpa and Granny, or Papa Jonathan and Momma Erina will be there to take care of you too!”
The way your mother put it, it was like being a werewolf was as simple as going on a fucking family vacation every month.
When the pain came back you didn’t care to even acknowledge the insanity of your mother’s nonchalance. All you knew was that it felt as though somebody was taking you by the arms and legs trying to yank them out of the sockets.
“It hurts...” you cried, “Can I please have something for the pain?”
“No honey... Now that it’s taking over, we can’t give you any anti inflammatories for the pain, it’s too dangerous. We have to be very careful with certain foods too, no chocolates or onions, no coffee, no more cooked bones, no nuts, no avocado. You’ll have to be very careful with your diet from now on, those things can make you very sick. But I have an idea, maybe it will help if you shift completely and we get some food in you.”
“How do I do that?”
“Just relax, don’t tense up because of the pain, it just has to happen. Breathing helps as well, if you want, mommy can shift with you and I’ll show you how to breathe.”
She shooed Jotaro out of the bathroom, giving him some sort of a nonverbal signal that made him snap to attention, for obvious reasons she explained that it would be best to do it in private. You could hear Jotaro on the phone with someone, informing them of your latest development with the Joestar gene and instructing them to bring lots of something, whatever it was you didn’t catch it because your mother closed the door behind her. She helped you change and folded your clothes painstakingly, holding your hands in hers as she instructed you to keep your eyes trained on hers.
“In and out sweetheart.” She told you, inhaling through the nose and exhaling out through the mouth. “In... and out...”
She made a soft sound with her pursed lips, and you mimicked her even though your body was in excruciating pain. Eventually you could actually feel the smoothness of the transition, once the tension left your body you noticed the pain had disappeared and your bones just simply shifted out of place and wherever they needed to go. When you finally came to, you noticed that the world was a whole hell of a lot bigger, a fact that made you completely terrified. Your whole body was seized by shaking and it only made your fear worse, but when you looked at the mass of cream colored fur in front of you, you actually voiced your fear with a loud yelp.
“Baby, shhh, it’s mama.”
A large wet nose pressed against your soft cheeks, a large warm wet tongue lathed at your face, so familiar... you felt like you remembered something like this, maybe when you were a baby, a memory of you cold and wriggling against the same warm cream colored fur surfaced and soothed you somewhat. When you finally looked up, you immediately recognized the warm green eyes staring lovingly back at you.
“Mama...” your voice was startling, almost high pitched. When you looked down at yourself, you noticed little beany paws where your feet and hands should have been, completely covered head to toe in fuzz the color of your hair.
Making yourself go cross eyed revealed a soft muzzle and little black nose, but it hurt to focus too much and you had to stop, turning to the side and noticing a soft rotund puppy body where your own used to be. You were still the same size, but when compared to the adult body of your mother, you felt incredibly small. She was gigantic, rear end pressing against the door as she struggled to stoop in the bathroom, a huge bushy tail nearly the size of your body thumping against the sink and displacing a couple of toothbrushes.
“It’s okay baby. There’s a lot of changes happening, and when you’re born into it you’re luckier than if you’d been bitten like your Granny Suzie or your great Granny Lisa Lisa. Everything is gradual, and you’re not going to burn so much energy. It’s so much easier going through this, you will be smaller than the rest of us for a while until you’re out of high school, but that’s ok. It’s just like growing up all over again, except this goes much faster, isn’t that exciting?”
You couldn’t help the whine that escaped as she mouthed your neck and picked you up. Being dangled from this height didn’t exactly help you when you were already a fearful person to begin with, and it certainly didn’t help that your mother was now the size of the mega fauna they had at the museums. But it was all a matter of perspective. You’d never seen a wolf this close before, only from far away at the zoo on rare occasions, and certainly not from the perspective of being small enough that her mouth almost dwarfed your body, her hot breath steaming on your pelt as she scratched at the closed door with a large paw.
When it opened, Jotaro was there, looking far too annoyed at the fact that you made such a fuss about your changes. He raised an eyebrow as your mother tried to wriggle out of the narrow door frame into the hall with you still in her mouth, and even more shocking was the fact that after she’d placed you delicately on her oversized bed to snuggle with you, you saw Jotaro just close his eyes and lose himself into his own impossibly large wolf form, not caring that his clothes ripped. He laid his head next to you, nosing you as your mother’s bushy tail encircled you protectively, and she began to clean you in a similar manner to a cat cleaning a kitten. Was it the same for canids? Probably. You’d never owned a dog before and suddenly you were very aware of why this was. Especially the way your brother acted, he was a grumpy asshole as a person, you could only imagine what he was like as a monster.
Curiosity compelled you to look around the room, everything so different from a wolfy perspective. Your perception of colors was vastly different, as was the way you perceived the room itself. Often you’d find yourself staring at things that seemed to mystify the primal part of your brain. You were compelled to gnaw at the tassels on your mother’s bedspread, but her gentle nip on your ear discouraged you. Things you knew to be red and green were nearly invisible, fading to grey or an interesting shade of yellow that you didn’t think could exist. Her dresser table interested you the most, as you could see your little ears in the reflection. Lifting your head up a little bit more however, that was a different story as the human reasoning part of your brain suddenly seemed to shut down.
“MAMA!” Your voice was a shrill scream!
You stood on your hind legs and began screaming, hackles raised and your poor little tail between your legs. The sounds you made were so loud and scared that it made your brother flinch.
“MAMA MAMA MAMA MAMA MAMA! THERES A MONSTER ON THE DRESSER! THERES A MONSTER ON THE DRESSER! MAMA HELP ME THERES A MONSTER ON THE DRESSER!”
...
“Oh that’s adorable Jonathan! Where’d you find that?”
“It was mine when I was a pup!” Jonathan Joestar said, a look of pride on his face as Suzie examined the tiny blue collar with a brass bell he had in his hands. “My mother got it for me because I had a tendency to wander, this way Holly can use it on the little one. Jotaro was too big for it, but I figure it’s just the size for my little bundle of joy!”
“I figured it would be best to just bring meat, and lots of it considering how ravenous of an appetite Jotaro had when he turned.” Joseph Joestar insisted, he and his wife carrying two large fresh kills apiece.
“We can’t feed the baby that!” Jonathan’s wife Erina looked scandalized, holding far too many sweaters that looked similar to the ones pet owners got for their spoiled dogs. “We’re just going to get the little one dirty, and then Holly’s going to have to clean up the mess later on after we make sure the little one is asleep.”
“Once we get the little one fed, then we can give out presents, matter of fact it was very smart of Joseph to bring so much. Whatever the little one doesn’t eat, Holly and Jotaro can have.” reasoned Jonathan’s son, a hulking creature named George who was every bit the spitting image of his father, and the only one of the bunch comfortable enough in the open to remain in wolf form. “Better to be full of food than stressing about the new changes on an empty stomach. Especially if the two of them had to waste energy and shift from the sound of Jotaro’s phone call. It wouldn’t hurt to be fully shifted when we see them either. After all, Holly is the alpha, it would be helpful for her to be surrounded by familiar faces instead of a bunch of humans.”
They all agreed, stopping short of the little cabin in the woods where Holly lived with her two children, helping each other to change out of clothes and stashing them in strategic places on the porch before transforming into creatures so large some of them had to hang back, unable to fit on the small space of the porch. Jonathan took the lead, a smile on his canine face as he politely scratched at the door.
“Jojo!” He barked, tail thumping wildly against the wall as he scratched the door again. “Jojo it’s us! Please let us in!”
He was interrupted by the shrill sound of a puppy’s yelping, the door flying open only for the mega wolf to be nearly bowled over by a very frightened young werewolf being chased by an alpha female.
“HELP! HELP! MONSTER!” You cried, taking off into the woods as your mother chased at your heels.
“Baby! Baby please come back! It was only your reflection! There’s no monster in the house!” Your mother barked after you.
“MONSTER!”
A very irritated and nearly naked Jotaro appeared at the door much to everyone’s shock, scratching his rear through the leftover shreds of his pants.
“Good grief, at least you brought me something to eat...”
There wasn’t even time to scold him for taking a large portion of the kill, he simply took it and went back indoors, dragging it off into a corner to gorge while Jonathan tried to help your mother chase you down.

☆Jotaro x Reader: bowlings a sport?☆
You sat on the window side seat, huffing and puffing as usual. Jotaro and you had your daily fight over something stupid. He called you a bitch, you called him a chain smoker, avdol tried to quell you both; blah blah blah. So there you sat, Pol between you and Jotaro. The anger was almost palpable. Joseph, finally unable to bear the feeling, spoke up.
"What was that stupid argument about, anyways?" He said, looking into the mirror. You snapped up first.
"He drank all of the milk!"
"Stop yelling, you dumb bitch!" He yelled back. You admitted, the argument was childish. But something about him...ticked you off. Ugh.
"Make me y-" Your words were cut off at the car halting. Joseph's eyes were visible through the mirror, and they were serious.
"If you both want to settle this, do it like the high schoolers you are." Pol's eyes lit up, and him and Joseph yelled in unison
"Bowling match!" They exclaimed, their voices full of glee. You and Jotaro both rolled your eyes, completely uninterested.
"There's no way I'm bowling against him and his yee yee ass haircut." You mumbled, crossing your arms. Jotaro grunted, his way of agreeing with you. Joseph sighed.
"I'll stop funding your cigarette addiction unless you play and solve this, Jotaro." Joe never liked to threaten, but he knew Y/N and Jotaro would only fight, bicker, and then annoy the rest of the group. This was the only thing that moved Jotaro's chiseled face.
"Fine." He said, simply. You still weren't convinced. You funded all of your own stuff. There was nothing they cou-
Without warning, Polnareff opened the car door and pulled you out gently. Then...he tickled you! The gang knew you were extremely ticklish, and would do anything to keep hands away from your sensitive spots. You burst into giggles, blushing.
"Okay! Okay! O fucking kay! I-Ill go bowling!" You said between laughter. Jotaro watched on, jealousy quietly stirring in him. As if he would ever let that show. Pol pulled his hands off of you, and you all began your journey to the alley.
☆☆☆☆
You made it to the alley, still pretending to be annoyed. On the way there, your good friends had made you forget about the whole petty situation. You were honestly looking forward to a nice afternoon bowling with your friends. Even if Jotaro and his attitude got in the way at times...
"Strike, bitches!" You yelled, throwing your arms up into the air. You were a beast at bowling, a good 20 points ahead of Pol and Joseph. Avdol was in third, and Jotaro struggled behind you in second. Finally, it was his turn. "Beat that, Kujo." You snickered to yourself. "Hey, and no Star!" Jotaro approached the lane and readied his ball. Just as he was ready to throw it...
Crash!
A waiter in a nearby lane tripped, causing the rack of bowling balls to fall. They caused an awful, grating sound. You thanked god none of them were near you...until you looked up. The ball Jotaro flung was headed straight towards your head! He must of gotten startled and slipped up a bit. Either way, the ball was coming right towards your face. You tried to summon Heartbreak Hotel, your stand, but didn't have time. Instead...In an instant, Jotaro was on top of you, holding your body in a protective way. Your cheeks heated up, and you tried your hardest to deny the urge to pull him close and hug him.
You could of sworn his eyes wavered for a second. They were like an ocean. The bowling ball hit him straight in the back, and he didn't so much as break a sweat. It was almost as if time had stopped between you two. He lingered for a few seconds longer than he had to, only getting up because of Pol's wolf whistling. He quickly got off of you, crossing his arms. You hopped to your feet.
"Helpless bitch." He said.
"Clumsy bitch" You retorted, mocking him playfully.

Psycho Analysis: N’Doul
(WARNING! This analysis contains SPOILERS!)
Perhaps the greatest trick Stardust Crusaders pulls is keeping you thinking that there will be nothing but painfully average Stand users all the way until DIO. The first half of the series is very hit or miss, with some really great Stand users, some really average Stand users, and some really awful and forgettable Stand users. But as soon as the gang sets foot in Egypt, the quality is amped up to 11, and what better character to showcase that than the blind Stand user N’Doul?
Actor: Greg Chun portrays him in the anime, and there’s not much else that can be said other than that he gets the job done. He certainly doesn’t do a bad job, so don’t worry about that.
Motivation/Goals: As with most of DIO’s henchmen, his goal is simply to assassinate Jotaro or, if all else fails, at least keep the gang occupied long enough so that DIO can finally master The World and use it to stomp out his enemies with ease. N’Doul is very good at this job; he basically knocks Kakyoin out of the series until the final few episodes, and succeeds in murdering multiple Speedwagon Foundation men before he’s ultimately stopped.
Unlike a lot of Stand users prior, N’Doul actually does give a solid background that explains why he would follow someone like DIO: having lived a life where he felt shunned and ostracized due to his powers, DIO finally made him feel like he had a sense of purpose and belonging by accepting him for who he really was. It’s not the deepest of backstories, but at the very least it shows that ultimately, N’Doul is a tragic figure who may have been the groups friend in another lifetime.
Interestingly, later revelations show Kakyoin similarly felt he could not relate to others growing up due to his powers; in that regard, N’Doul is sort of a dark mirror to Kakyoin, and it’s a shame this wasn’t played up and Kakyoin instead gets wounded and put out of commission until its time to go to DIO’s mansion.
Personality: N’Doul is a truly loyal and honorable villain; he makes no excuses and openly states he and DIO are evil, and yet he still has some standards, decency, and honor, to the point where Jotaro actually comes to respect him by the end.
Final Fate: Ultimately, he ends up taking his own life after Jotaro gets the best of him, deciding he’d rather go out on his own terms than be executed by DIO for failure.
Best Scene: The moment when he accomplishes few others can ever claim to have done: knock Jotaro’s hat off.
Best Quote: I could put his massive monologue he gives right before his death, in which he outlines his morality, his backstory, and his loyalty to DIO in an epically long-winded dying speech that would make Sniper Wolf proud… or I can say his best quote is “I can't believe it! He actually threw the dog...” if only because it’s the sort of beautifully out-of-context insanity only JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure can provide.
Final Thoughts & Score: Much as Forever long ago eased everyone into the sheer insanity of what a Stand user could be, N’Doul easily establishes just what one should expect coming up from DIO’s henchmen. There are few weak links between him and the final confrontation, and the ones that are are ones played for laughs; N’Doul is a sign of just how intense the battles are going to be going forward.
As cool as I think N’Doul is, I do think there is some really great missed opportunities that ultimately hold him back a little bit. The aforementioned point about Kakyoin is the worst of it; Kakyoin gets so little to do in Egypt because of N’Doul, and on top of that he actually could have made for an interesting foil to Kakyoin. Sure, it’s unlikely someone as powerful as N’Doul could ever be more than a one-shot character and so any sort of rivalry with Kakyoin would have to have been condensed, but if there had been a little something it might have cushioned the blow of my boy Kakyoin being MIA for all the Stand fights going forward.
Still, I think the most major problem with him as a character is that he gets eclipsed by the more extravagant personalities of the other Egypt Stand users. N’Doul has a very subdued personality, and while he is certainly cool, intriguing, and mysterious, he’s not as fun as Oingo, Boingo, Alessi, or Mariah, and he is overshadowed in violence and depravity by Vanilla Ice and Pet Shop. Even with how cool his battle is, it gets overshadowed by the sheer intensity of the elder D’Arby’s battle. N’Doul is a nice way to ease us in for sure, but he feels a bit quaint compared to the others in Egypt.
Ultimately, I think N’Doul still deserves a very high 8/10, held back only by his one-shot nature and for just coming off as a convenient way to remove Kakyoin from the plot until its time for him to get punched through by DIO. He doesn’t even have the excuse Vanilla Ice does of being the penultimate obstacle before DIO to at least somewhat justify him taking out a hero, and while he doesn’t kill Kakyoin, he might as well have for all Kakyoin does upon returning. Still, N’Doul was cool enough for Diesel to rip off, so he’s cool in my book.
I think perhaps the most important thing to note is how he bookends Iggy’s time on the team. Iggy meets his end at a villain with no qualms about kicking a dog to death for the pettiest of reasons, while N’Doul reacts in shock at the mere notion that Jotaro would pitch a dog at him like a baseball. It’s nice to know there’s at least one JoJo antagonist who cares about the well-being of dogs.

Jotaro Kujo - Continued
Biography:
Early Life
Much of Jotaro's youth was that of a normal Japanese child. He participated in many activities, including playing ball as a toddler, running track as a young boy and attending school. Throughout his childhood, he was supported and supervised by his mother, Holy, while his father Sadao was constantly on tour. The details of Jotaro's eventual shift into delinquency by the age of 17 are unknown.
Relationships
Jotaro's relationships with people is usually straight forward, due to his type of personality. He usually tends to keep his emotions to himself, as he believes people can read his emotions simply by observing him. Simply put, if anyone hasn't made him angry, he is usually satisfied with those around him.
Family
Joseph Joestar:
Jotaro doesn't usually share his grandfather's humor, and the two have very different personalities. Despite their differences, they seem to get along fairly well, and can share a laugh or two once in awhile, and they were able to bond much more during their travel to Egypt in order to save Holy.
Sadao Kujo:
As a famous jazz musician, Sadao left his family to go on tour. It is unknown as to how long he has been gone, but there hasn't been any indication that Jotaro holds a grudge against him for this.
Holy Kujo:
As Jotaro's mother, Jotaro greatly cares for her. In his childhood, Jotaro loved to play ball with her, but at his current age, his attitude has changed up to a point where he rebukes her affection, calls her annoying, and casually insults her. Regardless, the two take to care of each other, and Holy is unfazed by Jotaro's rough exterior as she knows his true feelings. When she had fallen ill due to her Stand taking over her body, Jotaro had asked Joseph what they had to do to cure her. It was because of his concern for his mother's life that he set off to Egypt to fight DIO.

Interesting- Jotakak SerialKiller!AU Chapter 1
Summary: Kakyoin Noriaki is a bored teenager that generally doesn’t like interacting with other people. That is, until he finds a tall, dark haired boy in his class that catches his interest.
Notes: Finally another part to my serial killer AU! This is the third in the series, with the first being a Caejose one and the second being a Jonawagon prequel. It’s not necessary to read those parts to read this one, but it may help you understand some of the relationships and behaviors here.
Noriaki Kakyoin could never stand interacting with people.
It’s not because he lacked social skills- he could easily charm anyone within minutes.
It’s not because he was afraid of people- he has knocked out men twice his size with ease and often carried a knife on him for situations he couldn’t win with his fists alone.
It wasn’t even because he hated them per se- he didn’t usually interact with them enough to form any sort of opinion of them.
No, if he had to put into words WHY exactly he couldn’t stand interacting with other people, he would say they are…well…boring.
That’s it, plain and simple- most people are utterly BORING to Kakyoin. They lead such simple lives with bland, simple interests, never once venturing out of their safe little bubbles. He’d tried for years to find people who could spark his interest and, getting into high school, he had feared he would forever be searching for someone he could relate to.
Then, after transferring to a new school- he’d been kicked out of his last one for getting into one too many fights- back home in Japan following a summer trip to Egypt with his parents, he met the boy who would become his best friend: Jotaro Kujo.
Jotaro was large for his size, easily larger than most of the students and even the teachers. He was tall and built like a professional bodybuilder with an attitude that was equally as intimidating to many. Like Kakyoin with his own red hair and violet eyes, Jotaro stood out as being at least part foreigner due to his green eyes tinted with blue and certain facial features. He dressed like a delinquent and acted as tough as one, even though Kakyoin never saw him start fights. Jotaro’s appearance and lone-wolf, tough-guy demeanor earned him the squealing affection of the school’s many girls (and quite a few of the boys). Affection that seemed to only irritate him and sour his disposition further, it seemed.
Kakyoin could certainly see why most would be interested in Jotaro, but, surprisingly, none of these superficial things were what drew him towards the other teenager.
Kakyoin openly admitted to himself that the other boy was attractive, but he didn’t want to speak to him just for his looks…
He liked the tough, cool demeanor the other showed, but that wasn’t quite it either…
Try as he might, he simply couldn’t put a finger on WHY he found the other boy so interesting. All Kakyoin knew was that this boy intrigued him and he wanted to get to know him better so he could figure out why.
He paid attention to Jotaro’s daily routine and found that he often snuck off to an empty area behind the school for lunch every day so he could eat in peace and quiet. Kakyoin could respect that- it must be irritating trying to eat with those girls pestering him all the time.
Kakyoin decided to set up a “natural” encounter with Jotaro one day and “accidentally” happened by Jotaro’s secret eating spot.
“Oh!” Kakyoin said with what he hoped was a believable tone of surprise. “Sorry, I didn’t know anyone else would be here.” He looked at Jotaro with an apologetic smile. When the other’s only answer was to glance up for a second from his bento and grunt before returning to it, Kakyoin decided to take that as a good sign. “My name is Kakyoin Noriaki- I recently transferred here. I was looking for a quiet place to eat. Do you know any other good spots? I’d hate to intrude, this just seemed like such a nice-”
“Cut the bullshit.” Jotaro interrupted him after finishing his mouthful of cut vegetables.
Kakyoin blinked in surprise. “I..beg your pardon..?”
Jotaro set down his chopsticks and grabbed the can of coffee beside him, cracking it open and taking a drink before continuing. “You’ve been watching me since you got into my class. You followed me long enough to know I’d come eat out here. You came here because you wanted to talk to me.”
“How..did you..?” Kakyoin was absolutely floored. He’d thought he’d mastered the art of sneaking around unnoticed. Hell, he’d gotten so good at concealing his presence that he could make people forget he was even in the same room as them. How had Jotaro noticed him?
“I felt you looking at me.” Jotaro answered while setting down his drink and going back to his bento. “You’re not as annoying as the other kids in class, so if you have something to say, then I’ll let you say it. Just know that I can’t stand liars, so if you keep bullshitting me with that innocent act then we’re done. Got it?”
“……..” Kakyoin stood there for a minute. To say he was stunned would be an understatement. Eventually, though, he allowed the polite, “innocent” mask he’d been wearing to slip and looked down at Jotaro with a much more reserved smile. “My apologies. You’re right- that was rather petty of me and I don’t much care for liars, either. Mind if I join you?” He asked while holding up his own wrapped lunch that he’d carried over with him.
Jotaro shrugged slightly as he ate. “Do what you want.”
Kakyoin took a seat beside Jotaro, leaving enough space between them to be comfortable but still close enough to talk without having to raise their voices any. “Thank you.”
The two ate in silence for a while after that. It wasn’t awkward or tense, though. Kakyoin actually found it quite comfortable. He’d eaten around classmates plenty of times over the years, but even when they weren’t talking to him there was still that feeling of them WANTING to say something that bugged him. With Jotaro, though, that feeling wasn’t there. He was just as content to sit and eat without trying to force small talk or saying anything at all as Kakyoin was.
Kakyoin liked this feeling a lot.
Once they were both done eating and still had a few minutes left before they had to head back to class, Jotaro finally spoke to him again. “What did you want?”
“Hm..” Kakyoin thought the question over while packing away his chopsticks and re-wrapping his lunch containers. “I’m not sure, honestly.” It was true- he didn’t have any concrete plans going into this, he just wanted an excuse to talk to Jotaro and figure out why he intrigued him. Well, better to be honest with Jotaro rather than try lying to him again. “I guess,” He began while looking back at Jotaro again. “I wanted to get to know you better. Everyone else in this school is boring. You’re not. I know it sounds cliché, but you’re different from the others- I find you interesting and I don’t know why. I want to learn more about you so I can figure out the answer to that. That’s all.”
Having said his piece, Kakyoin stood up to leave. He was surprised, though, when Jotaro stood up as well and blocked his path with the sheer size of his body. “……” Kakyoin looked up at him for a while, not sure what to expect. Was Jotaro annoyed with him? Was he about to start a fight? Kakyoin wasn’t sure, but was relieved all the same when Jotaro turned away and headed back towards class. “You can come back tomorrow if you want.”
The words were simple and straight-forward. Kakyoin appreciated that. He decided to come back tomorrow for lunch.

They laugh when the pup licks them, but then they get saddened, and maybe even a bit angry, when Jotaro mentioned their parents. It’s clear there’s some bad blood there.
“...I have no parents.” They say simply, staring the purple wolf dead in the eyes.
(badlydrawn-jocelynkujo) Sunrise has come and the wolf has turned back into their normal self. But there’s something...INCREDIBLY familiar about them.
He looked at the boy closely, then he realized.
“Joshua?” He asked confused.
Jarring thing is, the pup’s voice wasn’t of a young cub like Simon’s, but of a grown adult- and it was pretty deep too.
