At first, Joseph thinks you’re joking.

“Ehhh? You’ve fallen for me? I mean… of course you have- but seriously?”

He tries to play it cool, smirking and flexing a little like he’d already won your heart years ago.

But once he sees that you’re actually serious, his bravado completely drops.

His ears go red. He scratches the back of his neck and chuckles nervously, trying not to look flustered.

“Wow. Uh. I didn’t expect you to say it first… I thought I’d be the one making the big romantic gesture.”

He softens quickly. There’s a genuine warmth in his smile as he takes your hands.

“You really mean it? …Because I’ve been crazy about you for a while now.”

His teasing nature doesn’t go away, but from that day on, it’s always paired with lingering touches and stolen glances that say I love you too even when he doesn’t say it aloud.

Caesar Zeppeli

Caesar freezes when you confess to him.

He’s confident in flirting, sure, but when it comes to genuine emotion, it hits him differently.

He listens to you, watching every twitch of your expression, making sure this isn’t just a joke or pity.

And then? He smiles. Soft and emotional. Like he’s been holding his breath forever and can finally exhale.

“You… really mean that? Even after all the times I acted like a fool around you?”

He reaches out, brushing your cheek gently. “You don’t know how long I’ve waited to hear you say that.”

You’re his whole world from then on. He’s protective, romantic, and always wears your confession like armor when things get tough.

“You’re my reason to fight now, bella. I won’t lose you.”

Lisa Lisa

You’re shaking when you tell her. Lisa Lisa is… intimidating. She’s poised, graceful, powerful- and drop-dead gorgeous.

She stands there with her arms crossed, expression unreadable, as you confess everything: your admiration, your feelings, your fear of rejection.

There’s a long pause. Then she steps forward and tilts your chin up so you have to look her in the eye.

“I always knew.”

That completely stuns you.

“You wear your heart on your sleeve. But I wanted you to say it yourself.”

She kisses your forehead first, then your lips- gently but firmly.

“I’m proud of you. And lucky to have someone so brave and sincere in my life.”

She never lets you forget that you are loved and cherished. You become the soft place in her otherwise hard world.

Suzie Q

Suzie Q is shocked but thrilled.

She gasps and covers her mouth, eyes wide and sparkly.

“Me?! Are you serious?! Oh my gosh- oh my GOSH!!”

She starts to cry a little because she’s so happy and overwhelmed.

“I thought I was just being silly for falling for you… but you actually love me too?”

She throws her arms around you, holding you like she never wants to let go.

“You have no idea how long I’ve been daydreaming about this!”

Suzie Q is endlessly affectionate after that- she makes it everyone’s business that you two are together.

She’s proud, clingy (in the cutest way), and always finds a way to make you feel adored.
