Imaginary Authors A City On Fire

Nose: Josh Meyer

notes: burnt match, juniper, labdanum, jatamansi, cardamom, berries

A City on Fire is a realistic smoke/burning scent for a few minutes, but then it becomes much more of a woody incense (the jatamansi?) which is interesting in its own right. It’s like fragrant, scented wood, a little smoky, a little sharp with glints of citrus. It’s a rather austere monochrome theme (charcoal gray, coffee brown) but the execution is intense, high-energy, and invigorating.

2024 Gubernatorial DILFs

1st: Incumbent Renominated Gubernatorial DILFS -- Phil Scott, Greg Gianforte, Spencer Cox

Scott and Gianforte are the cream of the crop. Cox is just barely daddy-ish for me. Although, he's anti-Trump which helps. Still, he doesn't hold a candle to his opponent, Brian King:

If we were voting on looks alone, mine would go: Scott, Gianforte, and King.

2nd: Retiring/Term-Limited Incumbent Gubernatorial DILFs

Jay Inslee, Chris Sununu, Doug Burgum, Jim Justice, Eric Holcomb, John Carney, Mike Parson, Roy Cooper

Crutchie's leg can't really tell the weather, he's just observant and was going to tell the boys so after joking that first time, but then he caught sight of baby Mush's face looking up at him like he hung the stars and he just couldn't ruin it.

(Bonus: a few years later they sit down together and Crutchie teaches him how to spot the change in the weather; how to feel a shift in the wind and smell a storm coming. Just like he'd been taught, all those years ago.)

In an interview with Seth Meyers, Josh Brolin answered the question about how the cast watched the movie. First he said he watched an early cut and then he watched it with fans in Mexico (he said that every time they saw Z on screen they screamed as if they were watching Taylor Swift) and then he sneaked into a regular theater to watch it with regular audiences. @10:20
