I’m hella bored so here’s a random Jish fic. Written on mobile, please forgive any spelling/alignment errors. I’m also too lazy to proofread, haha.

Summary: Tyler, Jenna and some of the crew members are becoming to get fed up by Josh’s whining about you not being with them on tour.

“We are twenty øne piløts, and so are you!” The two men bow on stage, signifying the end of the show. The audience fills with cries and cheers, as Tyler and Josh exit the stage.

“That was a great show!” Tyler exclaims, grabbing the towel Jenna gives to wipe off his sweat.

“You two did great tonight, as always,” Jenna says, earning a wide grin from Tyler. Josh groans, and the husband-wife duo look at him in confusion.

“Y/N would have loved the show too,” he whines. Tyler rolls his eyes.

“You’ve been saying that every day and every night Josh.”

“But it’s true! Y/N loves our shows!” Josh retorts.

Jenna smacks Josh on the head. “We know Josh, but what Tyler means is that you’ve been constantky whining about Y/N every day for the past month.”

“You can’t blame me for missing the love of my life,” he says back.

“Josh, you aways bring her up in any conversation. Last week you were going on about how much Y/N loves extra guacamole while we were at Taco Bell,” Tyler points out.

“And last night you kept on saying how much Y/N would support your decision to watch The X-Files all night,” Jenna adds.

Josh groans again, walking away from the two. “If Y/N were here, this wouldn’t be happening,” he whines, yet again.

Tyler and Jenna sigh. This was getting out of hand. Josh couldn’t stop blabbering on and on about how great you were and how much he missed you, that even the crew was getting sick of it. It’s all he ever talked about.

“We HAVE to fix this,” Jenna suggests. Tyler nods his head furiously in agreement. “I’ll give Y/N a call later,” she adds.

“Hope that goes well. I REALLY hope it does.”

“What do you mean you can’t?! You HAVE to!” Jenna pleads on the phone.

“Jenna, you know I can’t. I have work and–” you try to reason, but Jenna interrupts.

“Y/N, if you’re not here by tomorrow, I swear I’m going to stitch Josh’s mouth up.”

“What? Why?”

“He’s been whining about you 24/7 ever since the tour started! You’ll never believe it! At first it was cute, but it’s just annoying now! It’s all he ever talks about!” Jenna exclaims.

You try to supress a giggle, failing to do so.

“It’s not funny, Y/N. I’m calling your boss, so book a ticket NOW.”

“W-What?! Jenna you can’t be ser—”

Jenna hangs up, immediately dialing the office where you work, leaving you hanging.

You stare at your phone in disbelief. Jenna was practically begging you to fly over to where they were immediately. You lay in your bed, still pondering what to do.

Half an hour later, your phone beeps – it’s a text from your manager.

- Good evening, Y/N. We have received a request for you to take a month off due to emergency reasons. The request has been granted, however you are not to be paid during the entire month.

Without even thinking twice, you get up and pack, and book the first flight tomorrow morning.

Jenna and Tyler are impatiently waiting at the airport. The plane you were in was supposed to land 9 am. It was already 8:55. They managed to dodge several questions by Josh, excusing themselves to get something to eat, leaving the other crew members to suffer from Josh’s whining.

“Tyler! Jenna!” you shout. The two search where the voice came from, and wave their hands when they saw you.

“Y/N! I missed you!” Jenna squeezes you in a hug, and you did back. Tyler fistbumps you, and takes your things.

“Finally! I can’t wait to see Josh’s face when he sees you!” Jenna exclaims in relief. Tyler nods in agreement.

“Haven’t you told him I was coming?” you ask.

“Nah, we wanted to surprise him,” Tyler answers. “He’s been talking nonstop about you, it’s driving the crew insane.”

“I’ve heard,” you giggle. “So where’s the dork?”

“I tell you man, Y/N makes the most amazing pancakes, ever!” Josh shares in delight. Multiple groans can be heard in the room. Others have opted to even wear earphones to avoid Josh’s blabbers.

“We’re back!” Jenna exclaims as she enters the area where they were gathered.

“That took quite long, where did you go?” Josh asks.

“Nowhere,” Tyler replies. “Also Josh, can you turn around for a sec?”

“Okay?” he says confusingly as he obliges. “What for?”

Jenna immediately grabs you from the outside, pushing you in. You hurriedly cover Josh’s eyes with your hands. Seeing you, the crew members raise their arms in delight – and relief.

“Tyler? Is that you? … Couldn’t be, these hands feel way to smooth,” he says as he feels your hands. You supress a giggle.

Josh gets tired of guessing, and turns around.

“Surprise!” you exclaim.

Josh’s eyes widen in shock.

“Y/N! YOU’RE HERE!!!!” He lifts you up and hugs you as tight as he could, planting kisses all over you face, all the while grinning like an idiot.

“I’ve heard you’ve been a whiny baby recently,” you giggle. He rolls his eyes.

“They’re exaggerating,” he retorts, still having you wrapped in his arms.

Everyone in the room rolld their eyes, relieved to have Josh finally shut up from whining about you.
