Let's give this show more attention, shall we?
Here's a damn solid amount of all the different kinds of media that I like to think both can definitely fit well in and could legitimately share the same universe as what is in my opinion the best children's horror anthology series of all time and one of the best horror anthologies ever made in general, R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series, which you can both read and see below for yourself right about here:
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/efca3f71d08b57afa5f303da50bf7489/063ea3247bb434bf-19/s540x810/f3d749a8bf7e4781f548f79061efcb2b15e5b824.jpg)
First off, here's what I mean by including the show, in my mind every episode of the entire series (at least most of them which we'll immediately get to) are all set in the same universe as each other since none of them over-step each other. However, not all of them will be for the fact that they don't fit and they suck hard in terms of quality and I've narrowed it down to five exceptions with the following reasons.....
- Red Eye, because it never lives up to its potential and has a cartoonishly written bad mother who never gets her comeuppance.
- The fucking cheese puff one, because the episode is all around trash and everyone hates this one even the creators/showrunners themselves.
- The G rated Critters rip-off, because like I said it's a shitty Critters rip-off and also has an abusive asshole father who never gets his comeuppance at all somehow.
- Mrs. Worthington, because even though it has a great performance from Margot Kidder, it never lives up to its great premise and again has an asshole mother who never gets her comeuppance.
- The leprechaun one, because it's just plain ass and AGAIN has an asshole adult (in this case, grandfather) that never gets his comeuppance.
Other than those shitty five, every. single. episode. are all set in the same universe. All of them are in the same twisted world — the Lilly D. trilogy, Scary Mary, Flight, Dreamcatcher, Creature Feature, Swarmin' Norman, the Pumpkinhead duology, Long Live Rock and Roll (AKA Doom Metal) and so on, so forth.
Also, I'm making a big deal out of the adult assholes that never get what's coming to them in a HORROR ANTHOLOGY SHOW is because in this universe we're talking about, everything is fair. Doesn't matter how old you are, your gender, your race, if you're a bad person than you end up getting what you deserve.

Second, now for the actual shared universe —
• Michael Dougherty's Trick r Treat & Krampus
• Mark Waters' The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008)
• Stephen Sommers' The Mummy (1999) & The Mummy Returns (2001)
• Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones Series (1 - 4)

• Troy Wagner & Joseph DeLage's Marble Hornets
• Warner Bros.' Wizarding World Series (Harry Potter 1 - 8 & Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them)

And that about covers the universe: matter moving through space and time under the action of forces. But what if we could create particles in between these two possibilities. Physics says these neither matter nor force anyons can exist, and they may have some pretty incredible uses. They’re called anyons. PBS Member Stations rely on viewers like you. Steadman was a competitive diver from the Los Angeles Athletic Club who joined Keystone in 1915 as one of the earliest "bathing" girls, and became a leading lady in Paramount shorts of 1917-18. Born in Monterey, California, she left Sennett for Universal Star Comedies (1919) and then joined Al Christie's studio in 1920, where she spent a number of years supporting Bobby Vernon, Jimmy Adams and Neal Burns. Steadman stayed with Christie through the early sound era.
In February 1926, while riding in a car driven by Christie to a Palm Beach, Florida boat race, Vera was slightly injured in a car accident in New Mexico in which Marie Prevost's mother Hagina was killed. Steadman married professional violinist Jack A. Taylor in 1919. They had twin daughters Frances and Marie in 1921, but tragically Frances died at six weeks of age. The couple divorced in 1923. She married sportsman Russell K. Dougherty in May 1928. On January 28, 1941, Steadman was nearly killed by a car that hit her while she was crossing the street in Beverly Hills. On November 15, 1948, Steadman married ex-jockey Joseph Milton Flynn, and in later years she served as a public relations representative for the Salvation Army until her death at 66 at St. Mary's Hospital in Long Beach, California, after a lengthy illness.

Lost Classic #22

CAST A DEADLY SPELL
Dir. MARTIN CAMPBELL; Wri. JOSEPH DOUGHERTY; Music. CURT SOBEL; Starring. FRED WARD, JULIANNE MOORE, DAVID WARNER, ALEXANDRA POWERS, CLANCY BROWN, CHARLES HALLAHAN, ARNETIA WALKER, RAYMOND O’CONNOR; R.T. 96 mins; 1991, USA, TV Movie
WHAT IT’S ABOUT: In an alternate 1948 Los Angeles where everyone uses magic, private investigator Harry Philip Lovecraft (Ward) is the exception, shunning spells and talismans in favour of good old-fashioned detective work and finely-honed instinct. His latest case may be the death of him, however, when he’s hired by rich, reclusive historian Amos Hackshaw (Warner) to find a valuable grimoire that was stolen from him – the Necronomicon …
WHY IT’S LOST: Because it was a TV movie, basically. As is, frustratingly, usually the case with TV movies from the 80s and 90s, this has largely been lost in the years since its release, despite being a modest hit at the time, garnering critical praise and raking in some prestigious TV awards – it’s built up a decent cult following (and rightly so), but you’ll still be hard-pressed to find a decent copy floating around …
WHY YOU SHOULD DISCOVER IT: That’s a pity, because this movie is GOLD. It’s one of the early feature-length offerings of Martin Campbell, director of big hits like The Mask of Zorro, Goldeneye and Casino Royale (as well as similarly lost sci-fi treasure No Escape, which has already featured in these very pages!), and it’s another cracker from a filmmaker with blockbuster talent to burn, a seriously fun and fascinating dark fantasy that brings a blackly comic revisionist edge to the tropes of classic noir detective thrillers. Fred Ward is, as ever, spot-on casting as Lovecraft, bringing his winning brand of blue collar, down-at-heel underdog charm to bear throughout, and he’s ably supported by an extra-strong ensemble cast that includes beloved genre stars such as Highlander’s Clancy Brown (sleazily suave as dangerously ambitious gangster Harry Bordon) and David Warner (Tron, Time Bandits and Time After Time among MANY other favourites), and one (then) future ACE – Julianne Moore, perfectly embodying the classic femme fatale with all the subtly seductive grace that’s made her famous since – while there are fun supporting turns from Dead Poets Society’s Alexandra Powers as Hackshaw’s Lolita-esque daughter Olivia, Raymond O’Connor (The Rock, Just Like Heaven) as Bordon’s sadistic, fastidious henchman Tugwell, and Nurses star Arnetia Walker as Lovecraft’s fiery voodoo priestess landlady Hypolite Kropotkin. Campbell shows his usual flair for action and consummate skill for wrangling top-notch turns from his cast, while there’s a simply STUNNING wealth of invention and creativity on display in the perfectly-pitched realisation of this weird, wondrous, scary and sexy skewed take on the worlds of Elmore Leonard and Raymond Chandler, thanks in no small part to a brilliant script from Emmy-winning TV writer Joseph Dougherty (Thirtysomething, Pretty Little Liars). There’s plenty to please fans of all kinds of horror, but Lovecraft fans in particular will get a MAJOR kick out of the film’s sophisticated wander through the father of eldritch horror’s particularly twisted territory – there’s plenty of well-crafted scares and delightfully icky creatures (brought to life through some impressively physical effects – the diner-curse’s killer imp is a particularly nasty little joy), but the film never takes itself TOO seriously, revelling in its potential for cheesy kitsch with a big goofy smile on face throughout. It’s a delightfully old-fashioned piece of work, but one which has held up EXTREMELY well over the years. Join the cult, you won’t be disappointed.

'Chester Bailey' Starring Reed Birney and Ephraim Birney, a Must-See
Reality, fantasy, delusion, 'Chester Bailey' has it all. A must-see at Irish Rep.
(L to R): Ephraim Birney, Reed Birney in Chester Bailey at Irish Repertory Theatre (courtesy Carol Rosegg) Joseph Dougherty’s Chester Bailey is a mind-bending drama that tests our understanding of reality, as that which we apprehend with our senses. Taken to its extreme form, those whose senses have been deprived cannot know what reality is and must rely on others to interpret “the reality” of…

Is It IMPOSSIBLE To Cross The Event Horizon? | Black Hole Firewall Paradox Check out the Space Time Merch Store https://ift.tt/Zgj3Oq6 Sign Up on Patreon to get access to the Space Time Discord! https://ift.tt/hWMY40A So you’ve decided to jump into a black hole. Good news: as long as the black hole is big enough you can sail through the event horizon without harm and get to experience the interior of the black hole before you’re annihilated by the central singularity. Or so we once thought. These days, quite a few physicists believe that the only way to avoid horrible contradictions in fundamental physics generated by black holes is for all them to be surrounded by screens of extreme energy that prevent anything from ever entering the event horizon. Sounds outlandish? Welcome to black holes. So let’s find out why many of our most brilliant physicists take these black hole firewalls deadly seriously. PBS Member Stations rely on viewers like you.
