(Jonas Vasquez x Reader): Just dance with me

Summary: Reader was recently broke up with and her best friend and neighbor, Sana, decided to take it upon herself to find her a nice boy to spend time with.

A/N: I’m trying to ignore the sadness radiating off of Sana atm so I wrote this fluffy fluff with all the faves (apologies for spelling and grammar)

Sana sighed as she flopped down on your bed next to you, "Listen, ever since you got dumped you've been moping around," 

"Well, yeah! Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do." You replied defensively, it had only been a few weeks since your boyfriend broke up with you.

"You're right,” She replies, “But eventually you need to get back up and go on living your life."

"Sana-" You start before she cuts you off.

"Please, why don't you let me set you up with someone." She says with a grin.

"Sana, I don't want to date your brother or any of his friends." You reply. It’s not that you don’t love the guys, but you’ve known them for ages and there’s something about remembering what someone was like when they were ten that’s a bit of a turn off. 

"That's not who I was going to set you up with, I have some friends from school that are good guys, let me take you to a party and introduce you." She replies. 

Normally you would never agree to this, I mean, nothing good comes from something like this. But Sana is one of your closest friends, she's your neighbor and even though you go to different schools you've always stayed close.

"I guess," You mutter, not very excited by the prospect.

"Awesome, we'll meet up with my friends Friday and hang out." She replies, as she whips out her phone, probably to make the plans.

"Sana, maybe this isn't such a good idea..." You mumble as you rifle through your closet while Sana sits on your bed, probably texting her friends to complain about how slow you are.

 "Just pick something," she says, not looking up for on her phone.

"Alright," you mutter as you walk out of your closet and do a dramatic model pose for Sana, "Good?" You ask as you gesture to the skirt and top you pulled out.

 "Yes," she replied with a soft grin, "You look amazing."

 Sana suddenly turns to you as you walk up to the apartment building she told you the party was going to be at, "I just remembered you know Even."

"Of course I know Even, why is that a problem, is he going to be here?" You ask, confused as to why it matters that you know one of Elias’ old friends.

"We're going to Even's apartment," She says.

"Since when does Even have an apartment?" You ask.

"Some he moved in with his boyfriend-he has one of those too." She tells you

"Oh, why does that matter?" You ask her.

She shrugs, "Just don't mention Mikael or the boys, Even hasn't really gotten into any of that stuff with these guys."

"Of course," You reply with a nod, it’s not like you would want to go around telling all of Even’s new friends about all the drama between him and the boys.

"Even!" You call out happily when he opens the door, "It's so good to see you," you say as you wrap him up in a hug.

"You too," he replies before pulling away and putting his arm around a shorter boy's shoulders, "This is my boyfriend, Isak."

 "Hi, I'm (Y/N). It's so nice to meet you," you say.

 "How are things going with Per?" Even asks you as he lets you in.

"Um...we broke up." You reply awkwardly.

"Shit, my bad," Even replies, "To be fair I thought you were too good for him."

"Yeah, I don't think that's why he broke up with me," you reply with a bitter laugh.

Even pulls you into the kitchen then, exuding the two of you under the guise of getting drinks.

"I don't know what Sana told you but-"

"Even, my lips are sealed, I would never dream of telling someone your stuff."

"Okay," He replied, with a relieved look on his face, "What do you want?" He asks, gesturing to the counter covered in different types of alcohol.

"I'll just have water if that's alright," you reply, not wanting to get plastered around strangers.

"Here you go," he says handing you two glasses, "The other one is for Sana," he explains, "now let's go introduce you."

As Even leads you into the living room you see Sana and Isak standing by the door waiting for you. You hand Sana her glass and take a sip of yours somewhat nervously.

"Alright let's go," Sana says, grabbing you by the arm, "You already know Even, you met Isak..." She trails of as she brings you over to where two girls are sitting, chatting.

 "Eva, Noora, this is my friend (Y/N)," she says, introducing you to them.

"Hi, I've heard so much about you guys." You say, with a grin.

"Oh my god, same, it's so good to put a face to the name,"  Eva says, pulling you in for a hug. 

"Yeah," Noora adds, nodding in agreement, "Sana didn't say she was bringing you."

 "Well I didn't have plans tonight and I know Even so Sana thought she'd bring me along," You reply with a shrug.

 "I'm going to introduce her to the guys," Sana says suddenly, looking over at where two guys are sitting, drinking beers and laughing.

 We you walk over one of them, a guy with curly hair and the thickest eyebrows you've ever seen looks up at you and stops talking. You smile awkwardly as you walk over.

 "Jonas, Mahdi, this is (Y/N)," she says, does no introductions.

 "Hi," you add.

 "Do you want to join us?" One of them asks, you’re pretty sure he’s Mahdi.

 "Well I was going to introduce her to Vilde and Magnus too, but they're busy," Sana says with an eye roll as she sits down next to Mahdi, "So why not?" You shrug and sit down opposite from her, glancing over at the couple that's making out, figuring that's Vilde and Magnus.

 "So how do you know our lovely Sana?" Mahdi asks.

 "She's my neighbor, we've been friends for years, ever since. I moved in." You tell them.

"Do you go to Nissen?” Jonas asks, “I don't think I've seen you before."

"No, I'm at Elvebakken," you reply.

"Isn't that where Even used to go?" He asks.

You nod, "Yeah, we knew each other then."

"Cool, I have to ask though, was he always so annoying?"

"Oh yeah, I've known Even for ages, I think he came out of the womb that way,"

At that point Isak walked over and sat down next to you, "What way? Adorably handsome?"

Jonas and Mahdi roll their eyes and Sana just smiles, "God, you two are the cutest couple aren't you?" You comment with a giggle, "I'm really glad he found someone like you."

 "Me too, he's the man of my dreams." 

"I thought I was!" Jonas protests, pouting.

 "Oh, I'm sure you'll find someone who'll love you," you reply, shoving Jonas with your shoulder.

"Here's hoping," he replied with a wink.

You can't help but blush- it's the first time someone's flirted with you since you got together with your now ex boyfriend.

"Oh my god, I love this song!" Eva suddenly shouted as she scrambled over to where a phone was plugged into some speakers and turned up the music.

As it started to blast she came over to the table you were all sitting around and grabbed your hands, "cmon (Y/N)! Let's dance!"

You shrugged as you let her drag you up and start we dancing with you. You were a little awkward at first since it was just you two but before you knew it everyone else was up too and you just let go and enjoyed yourself.

You saw Jonas on the outskirts of your ragtag group and moved towards him before grabbing his hands and pulling him with you to the center 

"I don't dance," He objects.

"Yes you do, everyone one can dance, just with varying success."

 "Exactly. I have a very small success rate."

"Who cares? Last I checked no one here cares. Just dance with me."

 And with that he did you and Jonas jumped up and down with the others and belted out the words together while holding hands, neither one of you really wanting to let go.

You two were in your own little world but the others were watching with smirks and Sana and Isak were near the edge making plans for your wedding (Isak was going to be Jonas’ best man and Sana was going to be your maid of honor, obviously).

Once everyone got tired and slowly broke off it was just the two of you still standing in the middle of Isak and Even's living room.

“You’re a pretty good dancer,” You told him with a small smile as you glanced down at your still intertwined fingers before looking up only for Jonas to break the bubble between you and capture your lips in a kiss.

Before you could go any further you could hear some of the others whooping and clapping as you guiltily broke apart.

 “And you’re a really good kisser,” He said in your ear before pulling you out of everyone’s gaze.

“Can I have your number?” You ask as you step into the small kitchen.

 “I was going to ask you the same thing.” He replied with a grin as the two of you pulled out your phones.

Once you exchanged info you looked up at him again, “I’d really like to get to know you better.”

“I’d really like to take you out, can I call you later?”

“Yeah,” You reply, “I’d better get back to Sana though,” You add as you start moving towards the door. He catches you quickly and kisses you again before nodding.

“I’m going to call you.” You calls out as you head back into the party, grinning.

Send me an ask with your favorite SKAM character/pairing and I’ll write a little drabble for you :)

About a week after the Christmas party, Isak decided to invite Jonas to hang out with him and Even. Even was really nervous about actually hanging out with one of Isak’s close friends, because he had met all of them in a very social setting. It was different when the three of them were sat on the couch watching The Wolf of Wall Street.

It was even more out of their comfort zone when Isak went into his room to take a call from his mom, leaving the two of them there.

“So…” Jonas started, trying to relieve some of the awkward tension, “do you like Leonardo Dicaprio?”

“DO I,” Even responded, turning from the movie to look at him with light in his eyes. “Man, I could go on about Leonardo Dicaprio forever. He’s in a lot of movies by my favorite director. Do you know Baz Luhrmann?”

Jonas looked at him, a little startled by such an excited response to a pretty bland question. Even feels awkward. Maybe he came on too strong. “What if he thinks I’m weird?” he wonders.

But then it’s Jonas’ turn to get excited. “Baz Luhrmann? As in, The Great Gatsby, Baz Luhrmann? I love The Great Gatsby! I love the way it makes a point about moral decadence and the fact that the soundtrack has hip-hop…..”

And they’re off. They talk about everything from films to music (“Nas?! Are you kidding?! He’s a legend man!”) to politics. Before they know it, they’re laughing and joking and trying to plan the next movie night so Even can show him Romeo + Juliet.

After a particularly long phone call, Isak comes out of his room to see the two boys laughing and talking in excited tones, and he’s so glad his past crush and current crush get along.

 Skam Stories Christmas Challenge 2017

Here's the first chapter of my fic for the Skam Stories Christmas Challenge 3/12: The Ski Holiday. I was supposed to post it all in one day. However, my oneshot got too long, so I decided to part it up in five shorter chapters. My plan is to post one chapter every day in five days.
