Jack Callahan doesn't know what he's expecting when he stumbles down the stairs of the rickety old townhouse the realtor has called "historic and charmingly rustic" and his husband had called "pretty run down and definitely a fixer-upper, but if you like it, Jack..." to answer the knocking at his door at two o'clock in the morning, but it certainly isn't Martha Kent, the veterinarian who lives on the outskirts of town and mostly keeps to herself, clutching a small bundle of cloth to her chest. it’s more a bullet point list of events instead of an actualstory but its still really good

I've come across it before, and I gave it a shot, but I just can't get into list fics. No offense to the author at all; it's just not my cup of tea!

Okay. Question.

Does anyone else go back and read fan fiction you read like...more than a decade ago...and then fall in love all over again?? I mean shit. I knew I loved some of this stuff way back then but I didn’t realize how much better -some of- the writing was in comparison to some of the source material and I’m just???????? UGHHHHHHH I just hope these authors took the plunge and have great writing careers cause they can do it okay 😭

I realized last night that Sasuke must've taken the graduation exam as many times as Naruto did. No way would he have thought staying in the Academy was a positive, not with his power fixation, and if Naruto was allowed then they could hardly deny Sasuke. So. How do you think he failed?

I would actually say that I don’t think Sasuke ever tried to graduate early. Unlike Naruto, he didn’t need or want the attention that came with being an early gennin, and he was also very definitely on track to graduate without changing anything. Sasuke’s whole life at that point revolved around trying to become perfect - he didn’t already think he was. Maybe it’s just my read on his character, but Sasuke has always struck me as someone methodical. “This is the path to my goal and this is how I will follow it” kind of thoughts. It’s not until he gets the Cursed Seal that he really goes off the rails looking for power.
