Steve Harrington gets stabbed with a kitchen knife (he loves though dw) (he would totally die in real life though)

Summary: The people of Hawkins were sure that if anybodys parent(s) turned out to be a murderer, it would be Eddie Munson's father, Al. Al was a thief whose son would begin selling drugs and actually be accused for murder. Nobody would expect golden boy Steve Harrington's dad to be as short-tempered as he was.

When asked who would be capable of murder, Hawkins citizens always said, "Al Munson or his kid."

It was the obvious answer. Al had a criminal record and was arrested for murdering his wife. It was almost named a suicide, until police found the cause of death wasn't overdose but strangulation. The night police came to arrest Eddie's dad was the last time he ever saw him.

Eddie didn't feel for his dad; he hated him. He believed every word the police told him about his father, but be still visited.

"I saw you two arguing, dad. You threatened her!"

"Listen, kid. I'm telling you, I loved your mother. If anybody killed her, it was Miguel Harrington."

"Why would he kill mom?"

"He hated me."

"You didn't know the Harrington's back then. They moved here after mom died."

"You don't know anything. Just be careful of them. I'll bet you his son is even worse."

"It's you who doesn't know anything. Steve's nice, so is his dad. They're why I'm not in here with you right now."

"Don't say I didn't warn you."

"I won't."

Eddie dropped the phone and walked out of the room. When he got back to his trailer, he was greeted by Wayne and Steve watching football.

"Theres no fucking chance he made that- Oh. Hey Eddie." Steve's voice changed from frustration to love in a second. "How'd the talk with your dad go?"

"Alright, or as well as talking to a psycho can go." Eddie sat down next to Steve on the couch. "What's your dad like?"

"Why?”

"Just asking. You never talk about him."

"Well, he's loud, bossy, and... He's kinda just a rich asshole, you know?"

"No, I don't know. Like the ones on TV?"

"Yeah, actually."

Eddie leaned into Steve's chest.

"Who are we rooting for, Stevie?"

"Neither, we hate both of these teams. They both suck ass."

"Who do we hate?"

"Who do we hate less?"

"Well, I like the Chiefs, but Wayne likes the Falcons. This game isn't really that important though because 49ers are definitely gonna win."

"No, the Saints are gonna win."

"We'll see about that, Wayne."

The conversation was cut off by the phone ringing.

"I got it. Tell me who wins?"

Steve reminded Eddie that the game just started.

"Eddie?" The voice on the phone asked.

"Yes?"

"Great, is Steve there? He wasn't at his house."

"Robin?

"Yeah."

"Yes, Steve is here. He's watching football with Wayne."

"Can I come?"

"Yeah!"

The phone hung up from the other line.

"Robins coming over?" Steve asked.

"Mhm"

A few minutes later Robin came in, dropped off by Nancy who didn't stay sue to a date with Johnathan. They were all laughing and having fun. Eddie and Robin didn't really know what was going on, but they had fun badly commentating on what was going on. Life was good. When Robins curfew came (8:30), Steve drove Robin home and went back to his house. To his surprise, and slight dismay, his parents were waiting for him.

"Hey, papá"

"What are you hiding?"

"Nothing."

"You're my son; I can tell when you're hiding something."

"I'm not, dad."

"Tell me!" Miguel's voice roared through the otherwise silent house.

"Okay okay I have a boyfriend and I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want to be kicked out I'm so sorry."

"Why would we kick you out? Just don't get that new virus going around. Who is this mysterious boy?"

"His name's Eddie."

"Munson?" Steve's mother, Cora, chimed in.

"Yeah. I know he doesn't have the best reputation, but he's nice-"

"Stop seeing him." Miguel ordered.

"Why?"

"Because I said so!" Steve would swear the walls shook.

"Papá, can you just tell me why? I'm getting tired of not feeling like I have a say in what I do in my life."

Miguel grabbed a knife from the kitchen and began walking towards his son.

"Dad, please put the knife down."

"I'll give you a reason. His mother was a bitch. She would've stolen everything had I not done something-"

"What? Did you kill her or something?"

"And now I have to kill you. I'm sorry, son."

"Miguel! Put down the knife. Lets talk like a family. It's time we tell him our sins. They're old enough to know."

"No. No, they can never know."

"MIGUEL!"

Steve looked up at his dad with a knife shoved above his right chest, more towards his collarbone if anything.

Miguel looked at his son with a mix of horror and numbness on his face.

"We should go, Cora."

"Okay.”

"Mamá, please.”

Cora looked at her husband, then at her son.

"I'm sorry, my boy."

The last things Steve heard were a door slamming and the car engine of his parents convertible starting. His breath shook before his eyes closed. He laid on the floor, hopeless.

8:38 PM

Eddie had realized that Steve left his watch in his trailer. He got into his van and left for Steve's house. Eddie knocked on the door.

"Steve, you left your watch!...... Steve?" He knocked again.

He peered through the window and saw a pool of blood on the floor. Eddie hastily opened the door.

"NO"

His voice could be heard from Türkiye. Tommy opened the door to his house and ran towards the house.

"Is everything okay- Holy shit! Um, Munson, do you think you can call an ambulance?"

Eddie nodded, tears falling like a raging waterfall. Tommy went to check on his pulse, slow but there.

"Yeah, it's a knife wound near the chest...They'll, um, be here soon."

"Okay, good news is that he's alive. Bad news is that I don't know how long he'll stay alive."

"He'll be okay. He's always been okay."

"I don't know...get some bandages. We have to stop the bleeding."

Tommy took Steve's shirt off and took the knife out of his chest before applying pressure to the wound.

"Other good news, it's only about a 2 or 3 inch cut."

"ANY CUT IS A BAD CUT!" Eddie ran in with towels and bandages.

"I'm trying to stay positive here! Put his head on your lap or just get his back off the ground. Now when I say 3, as soon as it leaves my mouth, put the bandages on his chest. 1..2..3 okay wrap it."

"I'm trying!"

"Try harder!"

Sirens interrupted the bickering

"Keep applying pressure to the wound. I'll carry him outside."

"Okay."

9:00

Nancy, Robin, Johnathan, and the kids arrived at the hospital. Police questioned Tommy about what he heard that night, not much, he was watching football. A nurse walked up to the party.

"Is it looking alright? Is he alive?" Robin asked.

"He is alive, stable. He's still unconscious, but it looks promising. He's already healing quickly."

"Do the cops think it was attemptee homicide?"

"You'll have to ask the cops for that."

"When will he wake up?" Lucas questioned.

"We don't know. It could be some time tonight, tomorrow, a few days, weeks, maybe a month. However, it would probably range from 4 days to 2 weeks."

"Okay."

"It's a good thing you found him when you did-"

The nurse was interrupted by a scream of bloody murder. She hurried to the room.

"So much for 4 days."

Hopper walked to them. "The police don't think this was an accident, but now they can ask Steve once he's ready."

The scream stopped a few seconds after it started.

"Steve, I need you take deep breaths for me. Can you do that?"

"Yeah."

9:45 PM

"Can you tell us what happened?"

"Like I told the nurses when they checked my memory, I got curious and stabbed myself. It wasn't attempted homicide."

"Have you had thoughts of suicide before?"

"It wasn't like that. I just wanted to see what would happen... Look, it really isn't something to investigate.

"If you don't want to press charges, then there isn't anything we will do."

"There isn't anybody to press charges against."

The officer walked out, and Robin and Eddie walked in.

"Did you really do it to yourself?" Eddie grabbed Steve's hand and rubbed circles on his palm.

Steve shook his head no. "I'll tell you later... I'm sorry."

"Do you feel okay?" Robin asked him.

"Yeah."

"You were just laying there. Covered in blood. It made me realize how much I love you."

"I love you too, Eds."

Tommy walked through the door.

"What's he doing here?" Robin said.

"Okay, 1. Me and Steve may not be friends, but I don't want him to die, 2. I helped save his life."

"Thank you."

"I just wanted to make sure you're okay."

"I am." Steve jumped as the door shut following Tommy.

"Steve what really happened?" Robin asked.

"I can't say it here. I also can't stay at my house anymore."

"You could stay with any of us. I'm sure Claudia would welcome you, youre practically Dustins brother, Wayne treats you like his son-in-law, and my parents love you.

"We could talk about it later, Robs."

"Okay"

7:00 AM

Steve woke up on the hospital bed.

"You spent the night with me, Eds?"

"Yeah, how are you feeling?"

"As good as somebody who just got stabbed can be."

"Please, tell me who did this to you."

Steve signaled for Eddie to lean in and whispered in his ear, "it was my dad."

Eddies eyes widened in realization.

After a trial that spanned 98 days of testimony, massive amounts of evidence and 241 government witnesses, the unanimous jury’s verdict was read in Chief U.S. District Judge Derrick K. Watson’s court in Honolulu. The jury had deliberated for about four days.

Federal prosecutors maintained—and 49-year-old Miske denied—that he orchestrated the 2016 killing of Johnathan Fraser, best friend to Miske’s only son, Caleb. Miske blamed Fraser for the traffic accident that killed his son, prosecutors said.

The jury Thursday convicted Miske of killing Fraser, whose body has never been found.

Outside the court after the verdict was read, Ashley Wong, Fraser’s girlfriend in 2016, said, “It won’t bring him back.”

Fraser’s mother Shelly Miguel and other family and friends, many wearing “Justice for Johnny ” T-shirts, also attended and cried and embraced outside the federal court building after the verdict.

Miguel and Wong both said the verdict provided that justice for Fraser.

In all, the jury convicted Miske of 13 of 16 charges related to running a criminal enterprise.

”We, the jury, having found the defendant guilty of Count One, further unanimously find that, as part of the offense charged in Count One, the defendant committed, on or about July 30, 2016, murder in the second degree of Johnathan Fraser, ” the unanimous jury declared, according to court records.

He also was convicted of conspiracy to use chemical weapons, kidnapping for hire, murder for hire, obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit assault in aid of racketeering, and other charges. He was found not guilty of bank fraud and drug charges.

The federal government alleged that starting in the late 1990s until 2020, Miske and his associates ran the “Miske Enterprise ” through a pattern of racketeering activity.

The racketeering activity included murder, kidnapping, arson, chemical warfare and robbery, according to federal prosecutors.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Mark A. Inciong, Michael David Nammar, William KeAupuni Akina and Aislinn Affinito prosecuted the case. Prosecutors declined comment following the verdict.

On July 11, in closing arguments, Inciong reminded jurors that there are 14 standards that can be used to convict him of a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO ) conspiracy charge, but they need only two.

”One robbery, one kidnapping … only two … so I just want to be clear there were multiple incidents, ” said Inciong, speaking in court while walking the jurors through an overhead projection of the RICO conspiracy requirements.

The investigation that led to Thursday’s verdict was run by the Honolulu Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Internal Revenue Service’s Criminal Investigations, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Criminal Investigation Division, Homeland Security Investigations, EPA-CID and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives.

Task force officers with the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Coast Guard Investigative Service, U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, Hawaii National Guard, 93rd Civil Support Team and the Office of Investigations—Office of the Inspector General for the Social Security Administration, assisted in the years-long investigation.

Miske was defended by Lynn E. Panagakos and Michael Jerome Kennedy. They declined comment following the verdict.

Miske’s defense team told the story of a man who came up hard but mixed the tactics of the hustlers who provided his street smarts with savvy businessmen and laborers who taught him the value of honest hard work.

Miske was not a monster, his attorneys argued, but an entrepreneur with a passionate approach to his work. He did the hard jobs for local people.

His attorneys described Miske as a legitimate businessman who made sure to give back to the community he credits with raising him.

Miske built family business Kama ‘aina Termite and Pest Control into an industry leader and started solar and plumbing businesses. He fumigated numerous “cultural treasures ” in Hawaii, and highlighted his pro bono work to tent the Neal S. Blaisdell Center when the city could not afford it, his attorneys said.

But the government alleged that Miske controlled illegal markets popular in Hawaii and owned nightclubs where brawls over bar tabs were common and associates were accused of using chemical weapons against rival club owners.

The Miske enterprise made millions of dollars selling illegal commercial-grade aerial fireworks on the black market, they told the jury.

Allegations including using fishing boats to move drugs and money were among the charges Miske faced.

Federal prosecutors also said Miske wanted other people killed, but they think many acts were never carried out.

Miske was facing 16 separate criminal charges and stood trial alone after his alleged co-conspirators John Stancil, Dae Han Moon, Preston M. Kimoto, Miske’s daughter-in-law Delia-Anne Fabro -Miske, Jarrin Young and Jason K. Yoko yama accepted a plea deal from federal prosecutors.

When the U.S. Attorney’s Office indicted Miske on June 18, 2020, on charges of racketeering, conspiracy to commit murder in aid of racketeering, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, robbery, murder-for-hire conspiracy, marketing illegal drugs, firearms, chemical weapons, drugs and bank fraud, they also indicted 10 of his associates.

The Miske criminal enterprise modeled itself after big-city organized crime groups, federal prosecutors told the jury.

Authorities accused the organization of using businesses to further its criminal objectives, including Kama ‘aina Termite & Pest Control, Kama ‘aina Holdings, Hawaii Partners, Kama ‘aina Plumbing and Home Renovations, Kama ‘aina Home Renovations, Makana Pacific Development and the Encore Nightclub, which was formerly known as M Nightclub.

According to federal prosecutors, Miske and the criminal enterprise waged violence against “rivals, competitors and innocent members of the community over a period spanning years, if not decades. In so doing, Miske participated in, directed and facilitated numerous assaults, kidnapping, extortion, the use of firearms, attempted murder and murder for hire.”———Star-Advertiser photographer Jamm Aquino contributed to this report.

Liam's name is the name of a boy of Irish origin meaning "resolute protection".

Liam originated as the nickname of Uilliam, the Irish variant of William. William is an English name from German origin brought to Ireland when the British fled England after the conquest of Norman.

The Irish began to use English names, including William, which led to the development of Uilliam and its short form, Liam.

Liam is the top US boy's name for 2018, joining the elite group of names to top the list. Liam started out as a short form of William but has long stood on his own and for several years has become one of the most popular baby names for boys.

Now it is the fastest-growing Irish name in the United States, first entering the Top 10 in 2012 and before climbing to No. 1, holding No. 2 for four consecutive years.

Emma:

Initially, a short form of the German name beginning with the ermen element meaning "whole" or "universal". It was introduced to England by Emma of Normandy, who was the wife of King Ethelred II (and by him the mother of Edward the Confession) and later King Canute.

After the Norman conquest, this name became popular in England. It was revived in the 18th century, perhaps in part because of a poem by Henry Prior Henry and Emma (1709). In the United States, it ranked third in 1880 (after Mary and Anna were omnipresent).

It declined steadily over the next century, beginning another rise in the 1980s and eventually becoming the most popular name for girls in 2008.

At this time it also experienced similar levels of popularity elsewhere, including the United Kingdom (where it began rising a decade earlier), Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, and the Netherlands.

(SPOILERS) BEHOLD! The Caretakers of the Imaginarium Geographica. Those known, guessed at, and so on. Enjoy

ELDER CARETAKERS GEOFFREY OF MONMOUTH: British Cleric. The first Caretaker of the Geographica. Known for The History of the Kings of Britain. His portrait is present in the Pygmalion Gallery, but is unfinished meaning he can not step through. WACE: Norman Poet. Best known for Roman de Brut and other poetic works. He has no portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery on account of being a Fiction. This set a precedent so other Fictions would not be recruited as Caretakers (Herman Melville ) or Mystorians (Sir Walter Scott). CHRETIN DE TROYES: A French Poet. Known for his works relating to Arthurian legends, and for originating the character of Lancelot. Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. 28 year gap... ROGER BACON: English Philosopher and Francescian Friar. Aka Doctor Mirabilis. Best known probably for his work with Automatons among other things. Has no Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery on account of living as The Tin Man (no actual relation to the character from Oz as far as I know) so he is sort of a Cyborg I think? Died when holding off a Lloigor (A fallen Star specifically) in the ruins of Parlon so the other Companions could escape through a door from the Keep of Time. DANTE ALIGHIERI: Italian Poet. Known best for the Divine Comedy, mostly the Inferno. Was a Canidate to replace Dee as the Prime Caretaker. Had a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. Unfortunately he remained outside of Tamerlane House after the Seven day time limit and Perished while visiting the Underneath. GEOFFREY CHAUCER: English Poet. Like Dante legitimized the use of his native language’s vernacular. Best known for the Canterbury Tales. Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. Holds the title of Senior Caretaker, and is in charge of hazing new members of the Caretakers Emeritus. Has some dealings with Imaginary and Fictional Islands. Gap of 15 years between their death and birth. ? SIR THOMAS MALORY : English writer. Best known for writing Le’ Morte D’Arthur. Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. Is dirtier in appearance than expected. LEONARDO DAVINCI: Italian Inventor and Painter. Known for works such as the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper. Also made a Time Traveling Treadmill that no ordinary human can use. Is said to have plagerized Roger Bacon. Is also quite pompous....was apparently chosen by Chaucer ? 8 year Gap. DOCTOR JOHN DEE: Known as the CHRONOGRAPHER OF LOST TIMES and as THE SCHOLAR: English Alchemist, Astrologer, Navigator, Hermetic Philosopher, and Advisor. Perhaps best known as an Royal Adviser to Queen Elizabeth part of her Intelligencia. Originated and took the position of Prime Caretaker. The first Caretaker to go rogue. Stole the Geographica but was unsuccessful in keeping it. Went on to found the Imperial Cartological Society (I.C.S) Under Queen Elizabeth the First. This organization was a cover for Dee’s Personal Cabal (Dee’s Cabal, or just The Cabal) which worked in service of the Ecthroi. The Cabal’s go to bring the world, the universe, and all of creation to ‘Perfect Order’. Dee’s personal goal of becoming Master of all Creation. Following Dee’s treachery, it was decided that there should be Three Caretakers to deal with such a potential problem in the future. The First Trio was as follows. TYCHO BRAHE: Danish Astronomer, Alchemist, and part time Duelist. Known for his Astronomical observations, and false nose. Caveo Principia alongside De Cervantes and Spenser. Mentored Johannes Kepler. Has a Painting in the Pygmalion Gallery. Is not on good terms with Don Quixote Is known to steal things and hide them in the boat house near Tamerlane House. MIGUEL DE CERVANTES: Spanish writer. Best known for writing Don Quixote. Caveo Secundus. Went on a quest with Quixote, and his fellow Caretakers Brahe and Spenser to retrieve the Stolen Geographica. Succeeded. Is on good terms with the Knight. Has a painting in The Pygmalion Gallery. EDMUND SPENSER: English Writer. Best known for the Faerie Queen. Participated in the quest to retrieve the Stolen Geographica. Caveo Tertius (perhaps switch him with Brahe?). On good terms with Quixote. The Trio follow them included: JOHANNES KEPLER: German Mathematician, Astronomer, and Astrologer. Best known for his laws of a Planetary Motion. Caveo Principia alongside Shakespeare and Marlowe. WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE: Do I need to introduce him? Alright. English Playwright, Poet, and Actor (?). Best known for his plays, Sonnets and Poems...really good. Caveo Secundus. Has pretended to be dumber than he is to avoid the pressure of living up to people’s expectations of him (Poor Will). Part of this act was always suggesting someone should be Flogged. Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. Planned and Built Shakespeare’s Bridge as a new way of Crossing the Frontier. Also built a Zigurat to travel back into Deep Time. Ended inspiring the construction of a lot of Pyramids. CHRISTOPHER (Kit) MARLOWE: A contemporary of Shakespeare’s. Best known for Doctor Faustus, and also known for the problematic Jew of Malta. Defected to the ICS. His last known location was trapped on some Fictional Island ( which is different than an imaginary one, according to Chaucer). Made a Tulpa .No Portrait. Following those three. CYRANO DE BERGERAC: French novelist, playwright, and duelist. Most well known for a play about him. Caveo Principia.Defected to the ICS. Stuck on either a Commet, or the Moon. JOHN MILTON: English writer, best known for Paradise Lost. Caveo Secundus. Defected to ICS. Last seen somewhere in the Underworld. Unsure and Unkown (UaU). Probably CHARLES COYPEAU d’ASSOUCY? A French Musician and Burlesque Poet . From what I found he was a Contemporary of DeBergeracs (one writer claiming they were lovers) but became bitter rivals later on. Whatever the case, d’Assoucy as Caveo Tertius, Failed in his Duties as a Caretaker and his Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery is turned over. After them. Three unkowns. Possibly CHARLES PERAULT: French writer and compiler of French Fairytales such as Beauty and the Beast. Caveo Principia. Ultimately Failed in his Duties as a Caretaker, leaving his portrait to be turned over. JOHN DRYDEN: English Playwright during the Restoration. England’s first Poet Laurette. Caveo Secundus. Failed in his duties as a Caretaker. OLE CHRISTENSEN RØMER: Danish Atronomer. First Quantitative measurements of the Speed of Lightz Caveo Tertius. Ultimately failed in his Duties. As such his portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery is turned over. Next DANIEL DEFOE: English writer, best known for Robinson Crusoe( I’m pretty sure). Caveo Principia. Actually a Spy for the ICS, and Dee’s Cabal. Was a Tulpa, killed by Smaranth, then brought back as a Painting. Retrieved by the Cabal so he might reveal the location of the lost Prince Coal. Is away from Tamerlane House Past the limit of Seven Days and Perishes on Easter Island. JOHNATHAN SWIFT: English writer, best known for Guliver’s Travels. Caveo Secundus. Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. UaU. Possibly CARLO GOLDINI? Italian Playwright. Caveo Tertius Failed in his Duties as a Caretaker . You know the drill. Following Defore and Swift JOHAN WOLFGANG VON GOETHE: German Writer, Philosopher, and Statesman. Perhaps best known for his version of Faust, Wilhelm Meister’s Apprenticeship and other works. Caveo Principia. Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. UaU possibly, Pierre Beaumarchais: French Polymath. Notably Playwright, watchmaker, and arms dealer. Best known for writing the play the Barber of Seville and it’s sequels. Caveo Secundus. My headcanon is he tried to sell his own reproductions of the Anabias( spelling?) Machines. Ultimately failed as a Caretaker, and has his Portrait turned over. UaU. Possibly Antonio Salieri the Venetian Composer, or possibly Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart...take your pick. Following under Von Goethe. WILLIAM BLAKE: English Poet and Painter. Caveo Principia. Began the Portraits for the Pygmalion Gallery before Basil Hallward. The ‘Second Greatest Betrayer of the Caretakers ‘. Thought to have defected to the ICS and died in a river of gold. Then thought to be working for Dee’s Cabal. In actuality, Blake has six (formerly seven ) Tulpas of himself. Is loyal to Verne and is in fact the leader of the Mystorians. As such, he may be addressed as Doctor Blake. WILLIAM COLERIDGE: English Poet , best known for Kublai Khan. Defected to the ICS. Last seen in the ruins of Xanadu past the End of the world at Terminus. Offered a chance to leave by Stellan Sigurdsson. He declines, thinking if he stays the ruins will eventually return to their Former glory. WASHINGTON IRVING: American Writer. Perhaps best known the Sleepy Hollow. Caveo Tertius, eventually Caveo Principia after Blake and Coleridge defect. JAKOB GRIMM: Along with his brother Wilhelm, Jakob compiled around 200 or more German Fairytales. He and his brother also produced the first Dictionary. Was an eventual replacement for William Blake, taking on the role of Caveo Secundus. Lived long enough to help train Hans Christian Andersen (Seriously Jakob lived a freaking long time). Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. Has likely had plenty of experience with situations found in the Tales he and his brother collected. Forced to act as a spy for the Shadow King to keep his brother alive, with the skin on his back ( showing a map to the Nameless Isles) ripped from his back. Dead? FRANZ SCHUBERT: Austrian Composer. Perhaps best known for The Unfinished Symphony. Among other works( not really familiar with Schubert). Replacement for Coleridge, taking the position of Caveo Tertius. The second most Supernaturally inclined of the Caretakers (second only to Poe). Knows quite a bit about the Echthroi. May be able to banish demons and similar entities through his music. Next we have Hearts on Fire, or the Romantic Trio. MARY WALLSTONECRAFT ( latter Shelley): English writer, best known for Frankenstein. Caveo Principia. Had wonderful adventures with Percey and George. Saved George Gordon’s Portrait from being completely Burned. PERCEY SHELLEY: English Poet. Best known for Ozymandius? Caveo Secundus. Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. Tried to burn George Gordon’s Portrait. George Gordon/Lord Byron: English Poet, writter, and Nobleman. Best known for Don Juan, and laying out the Byronic Hero. Defected to the ICS, but did not have a Tulpa. His portrait was almost Burned away. Following a reconciliation between the Caretakers and the remaining members of the ICS, Byron had been put on Probation, with other to follow no doubt. Is the butt of just about everyone’s jokes. EDGAR ALLAN POE.: American Writer and Poet. Best known for his poems and Horror short stories. Not as well known for his Humor based short stories. Following George Gordon’s treachery, Poe immediately stepped in to take on the Role of acting Caveo Tertius. Has no Portrait in The Pygmalion Gallery as he is still alive and it’s his house. Poe is the Enigmatic Master of Tamerlane House( which is one of the best places ever) having his own room. Likely let the Caretakers have use of it prior to taking on the Identity of Poe. Poe is revealed later on to have been the Wizard Prospero, and long before then he was (is) the Biblical Cain. The First Murderer. Poe is also noted to be the Arch Imago of the Archipelago.( which I still have some difficulty understanding). Later when he is outed he thinks on taking the Name Cronus. I still refer to him as Poe for simplicity’s sake, and because I find it to be cooler for one reason or another. One other note regarding Poe is that it’s Stated that he is the Leader of The Caretakers Emerti (The Reclusive Leader of the Caretakers Emeriti DoW page 29) Following Hearts on Fire and Poe ALEXANDRE DUMAS PERE: French Writer. Best known for the Three Musketeers series, Count of Monte Cristo and other Works. Caveo Principia with Hawthorne and Andersen. Baker for Tamerlane House. Mentored his Son Alexandre Dumas Fils NATHANIEL HAWTHORNE: American Writer, perhaps best known for the Scarlet Letter and Rapicini’s Daughter (who it turns out is a Mesenger). Caveo Secundus. Head of Security at Tamerlane House. One of the most Badass among the Caretakers. Expert and Hand to Hand Combat. Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery. HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN: Danish Writer, best known for his Art Fairytales such as the Little Mermaid or the Ugly Duckling. Caveo Tertius. Has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery Following Dumas, Hawthorne, and Andersen. CHARLES DICKENS: English Writer, best known for his novels such as Oliver Twist or the Christmas Carol. Caveo Principia alongside Dumas fills and Twain. Trained Magwich, Richard Francis Burton (the eventual face of the ICS) and eventually trained Jules Verne. ALEXANDRE DUMAS fils: French Writer and Playwright. Defected to the ICS. Believed to be dead. MARK TWAIN (-aka SAMUEL CLEMENS). American Writer, best known for the Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court. Caveo Tertius. Has had experience with Time Travel. A friend to Mesenger Hank Morgan. A friend in life to Cabal member Nikola Tesla. Father to Joe Clemens (aka Injuin Joe or Harry Billy)? Has probably been to the Underneath? Knows how and when to fire a pistol ( to defend a lady’s honor, or to silence a bunch of braying Jack Asses). Then we have Travel Buddies. JULES VERNE: The Frenchman, The Prime Caretaker. French Writer known for his Sci Fi and Adventure Stories. Took on the role of Prime Caretaker. Was thought to be a Tulpa but in fact has been alive. Raises Goats as a hobby. Keeps his own skull from another timeline on his desk. Gives up his soul to serve as the Load bearing stone of the Keep of Time. PROFESSOR STELLAN SIGURDSSON: A Norwegian or Icelandic man who in his earlier days was quite the adventurer. In his later years he became a Professional Philogist and Linguist. Might be the model for some of Verne’s Adventurers. Taught Jamie and later John. Was a personal friend of the Goblin King (who’s name escapes me). His primary death is what brings John Jack and Charles together. Later on he helps lead an Expedition with Don Quixote, The Grail Child Rose Dyson, the Badger Uncas, and the Clockwork Owl Archimedes passed the edge of the world at Terminus to find Madoc and repair the Sword of Aneas. Unfortunately he is a painting. The journey takes more than a Seven Days and perishes on the way back. He perished standing up with the help of Quixote, who told him he (Stellan) would have a place in a hall of Heroes. He was also able to finish a book John recently published at the time. H.G. “Bert” Wells: The Far Traveler. British Writer. Best known for his various Science fiction works. Caveo Tertius. An Anomoly as he is an H.G. Wells that time traveled while the other H.G.Wells (Herb) is just being H.G.Wells (and a Mystorian). Came from the future with his daughter Aven who’d eventually become captain of the Indigo Dragon. Accompanied Stellan on many Adventures, and was also a friend of the Goblin King. Joined Rose Dyson, Laura Glue( I’m pretty sure? Correct me if I’m wrong) Charles Williams, Edmond McGee, Archimedes, Fred (I think? )and Richard Francis Burton on a quest to find The lost prince Coal. He eventually died when Prime H.G. Wells’ Prime Time ends. Herb moves on, While Bert gets a Painting in the Pygmalion Gallery. Thanks to some shenanigans on Verne’s part, they are also able to get a Painting of Verne’s wife Weena. Resigned and defected. J.M. ‘Jammie’ Barie. English writer and Playwright best known for Peter Pan. Caveo Principia. The first and so far only Caretaker to resign from the position. That said he did not join the ICS, Cabal, or any other opposing organization. Was friends with Peter Pan until they had a falling out. He has a Portrait in the Pygmalion Gallery along with other allies such as Oscar Wilde. HARRY HOUDINI (Erich Weiss): Austro-Hungarian Born American Magician and Stunt performer. The Magician. Caveo Secundus, defected to the ICS and was chased around the world by Samaranth when he tried to reveal the Archipelago of Dreams with Arthur Connan Doyle. Knows some actual magic and is quite proficient in it. SIR ARTHUR CONNAN DOYLE: The Detective. Caveo Tertius. Defected to the ICS See Houdini...later with Houdini and Burton they join forces with the Caretakers. He and Houdini also become apprentice Goat herds. Helping with Verne’s goats. The Caretakers of Prophecy J.R.R. Tolkien: John, Ron, Tollers. The Prime Caretaker. English writer, best known for...I don’t think he needs much of an introduction. Caveo Principia. Eventually takes over the role of Prime Caretaker from Verne. Expert in Languages, and some combat. He eventually ascends and becomes a freakin Dragon along with his wife Edith. Arranca la AmeriCup 2017

Antiguamente se lo conocía como Campeonato FIBA Américas, y otorgaba plazas a los Juegos Olímpicos o el Mundial. Esta será la primera vez que eso no suceda, en este caso las selecciones aprovecharán para darles más minutos en cancha a sus jugadores jóvenes de cara a las competencias que se vienen en noviembre (las ventanas para la clasificación a China 2019).

Son 12 los equipos divididos en 3 grupos, que jugarán en 3 sedes. El Grupo A compuesto por Brasil, Colombia, México y Puerto Rico, jugará en el estadio Coliseo Iván de Belout de Medellín. Grupo B, Argentina, Canadá, Islas Vírgenes y Venezuela, la sede será el estadio Osvaldo Casanova de Bahía Blanca. Por último, el Grupo C, compuesto por Estados Unidos, Panamá, República Dominicana y Uruguay, jugará en Montevideo en el Palacio Contador Gastón Guelfi.

A las semifinales pasará el primero de cada zona más el mejor segundo. Las semifinales y finales se jugarán en Córdoba el 2 y 3 de septiembre. Argentina por ser local ya tiene asegurado su lugar.

Hoy a las 19.30 hora de Argentina, comenzará a rodar la naranja en Colombia con el primer partido del Grupo A entre Puerto Rico y México. A las 22.00, Brasil recibirá a Colombia, ambos partidos se podrán ver DirecTV Sports.

El conjunto dirigido por Sergio Hernández debutará en Bahía el domingo 27 a las 22.00 frente a Venezuela. Argentina viene de salir campeón en el Súper 4 La Caja disputado en Salta, luego de la competencia se dio a conocer los 12 jugadores que participarán en Bahía Blanca, 3 jugadores fueron desafectados por el entrenador, el base José Vildoza, el escolta Eric Flor y el pivote Roberto Acuña.
