Greetings idiots on this website!

Allow me to introduce myself. Although you probably already know who I am, I don't need an introduction. If you do not know me I consider you illiterate. But my dear Watson, @johnhwatsonblogs, is forcing me to write this, so for everyone uneducated on this website:

I am Sherlock Holmes, the one and only consulting detective in the world. Famous for my keen deduction skills, superior intellect, and good looks. I might not be the friendliest, but I get the job done. Who cares about manners if you need to solve a murder? Solving the most baffling cases with my highly honed skills, catching the most devious criminals of all and bringing them to justice. I have dismantled whole criminal networks, recovered state secrets, saved countless lives and brought down the most devious criminal mastermind of all, to name a few of my achievements, if you haven’t been paying attention. I am not only London’s best independent criminal investigator, but according to my international reputation, the world’s best and only consulting detective. I have solved cases all over the world, no crime is too difficult or too far away for me.

I have also contributed to the world of science, publishing papers about my criminal investigation methods, including how to identify 243 types of tobacco ash. Or as I like to call it, the science of deduction. So if you are looking for a place to learn about deduction and science, you are visiting the correct blog. I might share my scientific knowledge with you, allowing you insight into my methods of deduction. So do try to keep up. When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth

If you think you have a mystery that is challenging and thrilling enough to occupy me, do not hesitate to send it my way. Do you require help with a baffling case or a crime no one can solve? A mystery that seems impossible? I am your detective, then. However, be warned that I only take cases that are interesting, any boring requests will be ignored. Many New Beginnings

I hardly feel I deserve so many. Multiple times in my life have I made some truly, awful, mistakes. In the past I always found myself trailing after Sherlock, and being fulfilled in ways I never thought would be possible again after Afghanistan. The very first time I was caught up in the shadow that was Sherlock, I ended up following after him - after he continuously abandoned me! I might add - only to save his arse.

So, for a long time, our relationship was as follows; He might give me a vague hint on where he would dash off to next, I'd scurry to catch up, only to find if he would have waited for me or communicate with me, the situation would have went far smoother!

I'm not sure when it started changing, or originally. If I had to pin point, it might have been around the time we first got up close and personal with a Mr. Jim Moriarty.

Sherlock must have realized, the value in communication. Something that, on surface level we managed well. On a deeper level, you've all seen us struggle with ourselves emotionally. We only grew closer, until-

The fall, everyone loves to dub it.

I had fallen into such devastation by this betrayal of trust and communication, the only thing I felt I could once trust in Sherlock, I simply forgot that this man was suffering the same as I was. That he was completely alone for those two years as well.

Only, I wasn't truly alone. I met Mary, and I would not be here today without her. I know that. So would it be a crime when I say to keep it polite about her? I loved her and she was my life. Just as much as Sherlock is my life.

Sherlock forced me to accept his apology that day in the train, but it was as genuine as I can be. This anger's always been so hard to ignore, it would come out at Mary, and it's only grown over time. Sherlock would always try to communicate, he always spoke to me. Even if it was something so unbelievable, I trusted him. For awhile, he understood. He couldn't run off without me.

This was years ago still. I know it all started declining after... Well, Culverton Smith. I wonder if I properly wrote up that case, there was so much we would love to have forgotten. Sherlock and I.

I almost lost him, and not only by the hand of Mr. Smith.

Our relationship since, has been rocky at best. I never gave up, and in his own ways neither did he. Somewhere, we fell back into this dynamic. He runs off without me, and I let him. Neither of us would have been able to tell you who started it, but relationships are 50/50, you know.

When I finally had, so hesitatingly, just gotten this relationship? I wasn't prepared, but I'd have been out of my mind to not accept what we'd always worked on wanting.

Only to see him run off with Mr. Jim Moriarty, the man who single handedly started our path of love and destruction. The fall is a sore subject, a raw wound barely treated. I was so overwhelmed with - I wasn't there to protect him! - danger, betrayal, mistrust, lack of communication, all over again!

I said and did things that are unacceptable, and I'll be remorseful for them for as long as I live. This anger, I can't guarantee I'll get rid of it completely, and I've found I was in need of professional help in this regard. It may still come out, but I am working on this. We are working on this. I am working on making sure this will not be a repeated event; but this includes working on the communication between Sherlock and I again.

I stepped back to work on this, on myself, but now I am willing to open up and look back on this space. Where we can go forward, together, in this new time. I hope that, while it's not been a long amount of time, but two months away from this all has really helped thus far. I'm happy to be back here with you, and to grow by Sherlock's side once more.

Introduction

John H. Watson roleplay blog canon-based set in the BBC Sherlock universe. Timeline starts at the beginning of a study in pink. Jezebel: The plot. To be honest I kept getting lost in them flirting and then trying to get my thumbs to type fast enough I was confused for a bit about what was even happening in the plot. Past there’s a bad guy who was executed but didn’t die, or maybe he did but then came back they don’t know. And he is killing people ☠️☠️ but I got it all now! 😂😂

Jezebel: Shush!  I gotta say tho… I love movies set in the past that have like some hyper advanced technology. That’s so simple to us now!

Hii, im new to tumblr! I really like the Idea of having a blog thing to, well, blog about things that my brain happens to enjoy (probably related to band lyrics), and maybe some art too, or just appreciation for artists I like!

OPEN STARTER: John Watson

John didn't know exactly why he was sat out in the middle of god knows where they were with the soldiers. He was a doctor, someone they supposedly kept protected and away from the majority of things because they were needed. A good one was hard to come by and he prided himself on being a damn good one.

But why he was there... he had no idea.

There had been a lot things that would grate at him. The lack of care, the lack of drive or even focus. None of the soldiers or crew had discipline. None of them showed a care for their fellow they were supposed to have the backs of. Especially now. Whoever this so called prince was going to get them all killed.

John had a complete disdain for Ricky. Everything about the man rubbed him the wrong way. His hate for pirates was a reckless one that John couldn't understand. He hadn't seen much of any real ones, just the over embellished tales that were told to the crews to invoke fear and hate within them. But from what he had seen... yes, they were killers, but they also seemed to just want to be free. To live a life as they wanted.

Something John almost envied.

When Prince Ricky had been walked up to their small camp by a group, he rolled his eyes in discreet disdain for the man. He couldn't help but frown slightly as he eyed the group the prince was with. There was... something about them that didn't feel quite like all the other soldiers.

His suspicions were proven correct when Ricky shouted out that they were pirates and guns started to go off.

John grabbed his own, ready to defend himself as all hell broke loose around him. All of the soldiers were quickly being downed. Ricky, of course, was nowhere to be seen. The coward.

Seeing one of the soldiers about to shoot one the pirates, something overtook John that he couldn't quite understand and he raised his gun. Firing and hitting the man right between the eyes.

What had he just done.....

He raised his hands as the pirate he had just technically saved looked at him.

"I'm just a doctor." He stated. Knowing that, whilst it was currently true, he was far more than that in the past.

"I mean no harm. I can help."
