Behind Your Touch Episode 16: Han Ji Min & Lee Min Ki Solve the Mystery and Find Love
Tumblr media
Behind Your Touch Episode 16 was the finale of the popular JTBC drama that starred Han Ji Min, Lee Min Ki, and Suho. The series combined comedy, thriller, and fantasy elements to tell the story of a psychic veterinarian and a hot-blooded detective who teamed up to solve crimes in a small town. The last episode wrapped up the main plot and gave a satisfying ending to the characters and their relationships.
The Culprit and His Motive
Tumblr media
(Photo : JTBC Official Instagram) The mystery behind the serial murders in Mujin was finally revealed in Behind Your Touch Episode 16. The culprit was none other than Park Jong Bae (Park Hyuk Kwon), the shaman who had been helping the police with his fake psychic abilities. He was actually a psychopath who enjoyed killing people and animals for fun. He had been using Bong Ye Bun’s (Han Ji Min) power to read the memories of his victims and manipulate them. He also had a personal motive for his crimes. He blamed Moon Jang Yeol (Lee Min Ki) for the death of his son, who was killed by a car accident while Jang Yeol was chasing a suspect. He wanted to make Jang Yeol suffer by killing his friends and colleagues, such as Cha Ju Man (Lee Seung Joon), Jung Eui Hwan (Yang Jae Seong), and Kim Seon Woo (Suho). He also kidnapped Bae Ok Hee (Joo Min Kyung), Ye Bun’s best friend, and tried to kill her.
The Final Showdown
Tumblr media
(Photo : JTBC Official Instagram) Ye Bun and Jang Yeol managed to track down Jong Bae and rescue Ok Hee in Behind Your Touch Episode 16. They also confronted him about his crimes and his motive. Jong Bae admitted that he was the killer and that he enjoyed playing with their lives. He also revealed that he had killed Seon Woo, who was Ye Bun’s crush and Jang Yeol’s suspect. Jong Bae then tried to escape by stabbing random people on the street, but Ye Bun used her power to locate him. She bravely faced him and held him at knifepoint, demanding him to surrender. Jang Yeol arrived soon after and shot Jong Bae in the leg, arresting him for good.
The Happy Ending
Tumblr media
(Photo : JTBC Official Instagram) After solving the case, Ye Bun and Jang Yeol returned to their normal lives in Mujin. They also confessed their feelings for each other and started dating. They had a cute and sweet relationship, despite their different personalities and lifestyles. They also continued to work together on minor cases, using Ye Bun’s power and Jang Yeol’s skills. They became a famous duo in Mujin, earning the respect and admiration of the people. The other characters also had their happy endings in Behind Your Touch Episode 16. Ok Hee recovered from her trauma and became more confident and cheerful. She also opened her own hair salon with the help of her friends. Won Jong Mook (Kim Hee Won) and Jung Hyeon Ok (Park Sung Yeon) got married and rekindled their love. Na Mi Ran (Jung Yi Rang) divorced her cheating husband and found a new love interest. Bae Deok Hee (Jo Min Guk) became a successful detective and moved to Seoul. The finale episode ended with a humorous scene of Ye Bun and Jang Yeol running away from a group of angry female prisoners, whom Ye Bun had read their memories for Jang Yeol’s investigation.
The Netizens’ Reactions
Tumblr media

Strong Girl Bong Soon: A Delightful Blend of Romance, Comedy, and Thrills
Tumblr media
Welcome to my review of the highly popular Korean drama, "Strong Girl Bong Soon." This delightful series, starring Park Bo-young, Park Hyung-Sik, and Ji Soo, captivated audiences with its unique blend of romance, comedy, and thrilling mysteries. In this article, we will dive deep into the plot, characters, and the overall appeal of this show.
The Story
"Strong Girl Bong Soon" revolves around the life of Do Bong Soon, a young woman with an extraordinary power - super strength. Despite her remarkable abilities, Bong Soon leads a relatively quiet life, until she becomes a bodyguard for Ahn Min-hyuk, the CEO of a video game company. As the story progresses, we are treated to a mix of hilarious antics, heartwarming romance, and a dark kidnapping plot that keeps us on the edge of our seats.
The Charming Characters
Do Bong Soon: A Role Model of Strength and Femininity   Do Bong Soon, played by the talented Park Bo-young, is undoubtedly one of the standout characters in the series. Her determination to pursue her dream of creating a video game, coupled with her unwavering kindness, makes her a fantastic role model for young girls. Bong Soon's strength is not just physical; it is her inner strength and resilience that truly shines throughout the show.   Ahn Min-hyuk: A Charming Chaebol   Portrayed by the charismatic Park Hyung-Sik, Ahn Min-hyuk is the CEO of a gaming company and Bong Soon's love interest. What sets Min-hyuk apart is his playful banter and his ability to see beyond Bong Soon's super strength. He never treats her as a damsel in distress and instead appreciates her for who she is. Min-hyuk's character adds a layer of depth to the romance and brings a refreshing dynamic to the story.   In Guk-doo: The Childhood Friend   Ji Soo takes on the role of In Guk-doo, Bong Soon's childhood friend and crush. While Guk-doo initially seems like the perfect match for Bong Soon, his character falls victim to the second male lead syndrome. Nevertheless, his dedication to his work as a police detective and his involvement in cracking the case adds another layer of intrigue to the plot.   Supporting Characters and Their Impact   Though not as prominent as the main trio, the supporting characters play pivotal roles in shaping the narrative. Bong Soon's brother, Do Bong-ki, and her best friend, Na Kyung-shim, bring a sense of familiarity and provide support to the main characters. Additionally, Jo Hee-Ji, the girlfriend-turned-love interest of Bong Soon's brother, adds an interesting twist to the story. Notably, Secretary Gong and Baek Soo-tak provide comic relief and contribute to the overall entertainment value of the show.
The Engaging Plot
"Strong Girl Bong Soon" boasts a compelling plot that seamlessly weaves together romance, comedy, mystery, and thrills. The balance between these different genres is commendable, as the show manages to deliver heartwarming moments, laugh-out-loud comedy, and intense action sequences. While the romantic aspect of the plot remains a highlight, the dark kidnapping plot and the hunt for a serial killer add depth and suspense to the storyline.
Unveiling the Mysteries
The mystery elements in "Strong Girl Bong Soon" keep viewers hooked from start to finish. The thrill of uncovering the identity of the kidnapper and the suspense surrounding the serial killer's actions create a sense of anticipation throughout the series. The plot twists and turns, and the relentless pursuit of justice, add an extra layer of excitement that keeps audiences engaged.
Appreciating the Humor
Humor plays a significant role in "Strong Girl Bong Soon," providing much-needed comic relief amidst the darker themes. However, it is important to note that the show's sense of humor may not be to everyone's taste. While some viewers may find the comedic elements enjoyable, others may find certain jokes crass or insensitive. It is crucial to approach the humor in the show with an open mind and a willingness to embrace its eccentricities.
A Visual Treat
In addition to its captivating storyline, "Strong Girl Bong Soon" boasts visually stunning cinematography. The vibrant colors and visually appealing scenes enhance the overall viewing experience. Whether it's the breathtaking landscapes or the charming chemistry between the leads, the show's visual aesthetics contribute to its undeniable charm.
The Power of Chemistry
The chemistry between the main cast members elevates the show to another level. Park Bo-young and Park Hyung-Sik's on-screen pairing is undeniably adorable and heartwarming. Their playful banter, stolen glances, and tender moments create a palpable connection that resonates with viewers. The genuine camaraderie between the actors translates into a believable and captivating romance on screen.
Strong Themes and Messages
"Strong Girl Bong Soon" touches upon various themes, including the power of inner strength, the importance of embracing oneself, and the impact of true friendship. Bong Soon's journey serves as a reminder that physical strength is not the only measure of one's capabilities. The show encourages viewers to embrace their unique qualities and face challenges head-on.
The Final Verdict
In conclusion, "Strong Girl Bong Soon" is a must-watch Korean drama that successfully combines romance, comedy, and thrills. The captivating plot, endearing characters, and chemistry between the leads make it a memorable viewing experience. While the show's humor may not be for everyone, its ability to balance lighthearted moments with intense action sequences sets it apart. Whether you're a fan of romantic comedies, mysteries, or simply looking for an entertaining series, "Strong Girl Bong Soon" is sure to leave you smiling.   So, grab some popcorn, sit back, and immerse yourself in the world of "Strong Girl Bong Soon" – a delightful blend of love, laughter, and superhuman strength. Senior singer Anda-seong, who sang “On the Beach,” dies
Tumblr media
Elderly singer Anda-seong (real name Ahn Young-gil <安泳吉>), who sang hit songs such as “Blue and Red Room” and “On the Beach,” passed away around noon on the 11th, the bereaved family said. He is 92 years old.
Born in Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do on May 25, 1930 (born in 1931 on family register), and raised in Cheongju, the deceased studied English at Shinheung University (now Kyunghee University) and was called a “bachelor singer,” which was rare at the time.
According to popular music critic Park Seong-seo, he came up with the stage name “Anda-seong” after conceiving of world-renowned vocalist Marian Anderson (1897-1993). After singing “Silla’s Moonlight” once a week at Cheongju Broadcasting Station, during the Korean War in 1951, he performed 100 times for 2 years and 9 months at the Military Training Corps of Jung Hoon-guk of the Army.
In 1955, when he was in his third year of college, he was selected as an exclusive singer for Seoul Central Broadcasting Station (predecessor of KBS), and that year, he sang the theme song (written by Jo Nam-sa, composed by Son Seok-woo) of the soap opera “Blue and Red Room” with senior female singer Song Min-do and made it a hit.
This song, which begins with the lyrics, “Weaving blue and red threads with great care/Weaving blue and red threads so that the pattern is fine~” is famous as the “first theme song for a drama.” In 1956, after signing an exclusive contract with Oasis Records with the introduction of Son Seok-woo, he sang the theme song of the same name for the drama 'Dreams Disappear' in 1958.
Afterwards, he joined the 'Park Chun-seok Division' and had successive hits such as 'On the Beach' and 'When Love Echoes', which begin with 'On a lonely beach where you can hear the sound of the waves/I reminisce alone'. He sang lyrical and atmospheric songs that matched his charming bass voice, and also released about 20 tango-style songs, such as “Sooni Became Erena.”
According to his bereaved family, the deceased digested broadcast recordings such as KBS’ Gayo Stage’ until 2021.
His mortuary is in Room 3 of the Funeral Hall of Han River Sacred Heart Hospital, at 4:30 am on the 13th of his funeral, Jangji is Goesan Patriots.

Monster Monday: Five kdramas that can be scary.
I had a lot of stuff to do the last couple of weeks so I stopped watching dramas and now I’m behind for about four episodes of most of the dramas I was checking out. So I planned to catch up this weekend but instead I ended up doing a marathon of Signal. Why? No idea. I just never watched it and it popped up as a suggestion. Even though I wasn’t scared while watching it I ended up having bad dreams. Then I remembered this wasn’t the first time I had nightmares after watching dramas. Here are five dramas that fit the bill.
Master’s Sun. This drama is starred by So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin. It’s a dark rom-com about a girl who is constantly terrified by the ghosts she sees when she suddenly meets a man who has the ability to stop her from seeing them. It’s probably the best drama of this genre. The ghost are really well portrayed to the point that (specially at the beginning of the drama) they can make you jump out of your sit. The OST of this one is great specially Gummy’s Day and Night.

Let’s fight ghost. I really enjoyed this drama. It’s light and funny. However since the plot is literally about hunting ghosts. It can give you a few surprises along the way. Kim So Hyun plays a ghost who has no recolection of her previous life and she believes the character played by 2PM’s Taecyeon holds the key to know how to move on to the next life. Therefore she follows him around until he agrees to help her. Together they perform exorcisms.

The girl who sees smells. This supernatural rom-com about a girl with amnesia that has the ability to see smells and a man who doesn’t feel pain turns scary when you add a serial killer into the mix. This drama is starred by JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun, Shin Se Kyung and Nam Goong Min. Listen to the OST Spring is gone by chance sang by GFRIEND’s Yuju ft Loco.

I remember you. This drama is one of my favorites. Starred by Seo In Guk and Jang Na Ra. It’s a crime/romance drama with a great script. The story is about a Mentalist like character that comes back to Korea taunted by a serial killer. He starts working with the team that is trying to solve the murders and finds a link to his own family tragedy. Park Bo Gum, EXO’s Do Kyung Soo and Choi Wong Yu are stand outs on this one. The story is sometimes disturbing and always thrilling. The chemestry between the leads is also something to look forward to. The OST I remember you by Dear Cloud takes me back to so many scenes of this drama I really love it.

Signal. This drama is full of suspense. A profiler and a detective come in contact with a walkie talkie that allows them to contact someone from the year 2000. Together they set to solve a crime that has been unsolved for years and that is linked to one of them. The main actors ( Kim Hye Soo, Jo Jin Woong, and Lee Je Hoon) of this drama did amazing and the story is really well told. TVN as its best for sure.

So this post is being made because of hashtags #i only started watching South Asian dramas ladt September so I don’t know about 0 # early 2000s Kdramas by @ezhilmozhi
I am gonna talk about the elder k drama actors whose shows I have watched and heard of.
So like if I have to borrow terminology from K Pop - the earlier 3 generations, since I consider the actors in the original post as 4th generation. And like some of the 2nd generation actors - I have got to know of them recently after I watched their post military service shows.
And as I was doing this I realised - you know what the earlier generations actors don't all look similar - they have their own unqiueness - so this is a recent change probably due to the Hallyu Wave getting bigger and them trying to keep the momentum going with what works.
So here goes
Tumblr media
Yoo Ji Tae - Healer
Cha Seung Won - You're All Surrounded
Jang Dong Gun - A Gentleman's Dignity, Suits, and Arthadal Chronicles
So Ji Sub - Oh My Venus, The Master's sun
Tumblr media
Jo In Sung - It's Okay, That's Love
Go Yoo - Goblin, Coffee Prince
Lee Jung Jae - Squid game, Chief of Staff
Yeon Woo Jin - Thirty-nine, Marriage not dating
Tumblr media
Jang Hyuk - You're My Destiny
Lee Joon gi - Lawless Lawyer, Flower Of Evil
Lee Seung gi - You're All Surrounded Vagabond and Mouse
Kim Jae Wook - Her Private Life and Coffee Prince
Tumblr media
Kang Ha Neul - When the camelia blooms, Moon lovers: Scarlett heart ryo
Jo Jung Sook - Oh my Ghost, Don't dare to dream, Hospital Playlist - 1 and 2
Ji Chang Wook - Suspicious Partner, Healer, Lovestruck in the city, The K2.
Lee Min Ki - Because This Is My First Life, Beauty Inside
Tumblr media
Nam Joo Hyuk - Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo , Start up, The School Nurse Files
Bang Sung Hoon - My Secret Romance, Love Marriage ft Divorce
Kim Bum - Boys Over Flowers , The Tale of Nine Tailed and The Ghost Doctor
Song Joong Ki - Descendants Of The Sun, Arthadal Chronicles, Vincenzo
Tumblr media
Park Bogum - Reply 1988, Love Under The Moonlight
Ji Sung - The Devil Judge, Doctor John, Kill Me, Heal Me
Hyun Bin - Crash Landing On You, Secret Garden, Memories of Alhamara
Choi Jin Hyuk - Emergency Couple, Tunnel and The Last Empress
Tumblr media
Seo In Guk - Reply 1997, Doom At Your Service, Shopaholic Louis, Hello Monster
Kim Woobin - Uncontrallby Find, The Heirs, and A Gentleman's Dignity
Kim Soohyun - My Love From Another Star and It's Okay To Not Be Okay
Lee Minho - Boys Over Flowers, The Heirs, and Legend Of The Blue Sea
Tumblr media
Park Seojun - Whats Wrong With Secretary Kim, Fight For My Way, She Was Pretty, Kill Me, Heal Me and Itaweon Class
Park Hyunsik - The Heirs, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Lee Jong Suk - I Hear Your Voice, Romance Is A Bonus Book, Pinnochio, While You Were Sleeping
Lee Dong Wook - Goblin, Touch Your Heart, and The Tale of Nine-Tailed
So you know how people say new generation of k drama male actors look similar and initially I didn't pay attention to it but then I noticed stuff and by stuff I mean
If Song Kang and Kim Min Jae played brothers and Lee Do Hyun played their cousin - I would believe it
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I have already spoken about how Ahn Bo Hyun and Ahn Hyo Seop looking similar
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And don't get me started on Kim Seung Cheol and and Lee Sang Yi because it was after our beloved summer got over I realised it wasn't the same actor from Hometown Cha Cha Cha
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this makes me think - if korean drama industry has become more conscious about looks - yes, more than usual because of eyeballs that Korean dramas grabs on a global level. And if that's the case how many talented actors are loosing a chance to get opportunities simply because how they look cannot be marketed as the ideal "oppa" certain people want.
