â ď¸ MINORS DO NOT INTERACT â ď¸
The arrival of the astral express towards the xianzhou loufu has caught the attention of many people as well caught the suspicion of the cloud knights about their arrival, but the tension was caught after the generals beloved has entered into the room
Contain : forced marriage, implied non con, baby trapping, implied female reader, mind break, and other disturbing content.
DEAD DOVE : DO NOT EAT
Credit : towards the dividers creator ( I forgot the username )
( English is not my first language )
During the astral express arrival towards the xianzhou loufu and is now being interrogated by the sky faring commission head madam yukong suddenly a calming and elegant aura rises when one the doors leading towards the outside open.
An elegant person wearing a blue hanfu with many flower and crane patterns cover the entire exterior, as well wearing a snow white shawl around them. Cradling a newly born baby with white tips of hair peeking and seems to be peacefully resting and is wrapped on a brown and gold thick fabric to make sure it's not cold in a burrito wrapping style sleeps peacefully on their mother's embrace.
A group of cloud knights and attendants follow behind them to make sure their masters needs are fulfilled as well their protection is secured.
"talk about an entourage" march 7th whispers towards stelle, to bad she wasn't listening she was busy admiring the person.
"good evening commander ( name ), might tell me why you are back so early from your evening stroll" madam yukong asking the stranger. "I heard some interesting facts about the astral express coming towards the luofu and I just have to see for myself" ( name ) cradling their 1 month old baby in their hands.
"yes the rumors about the astral express visiting are true but I must have to interrogate them to make sure they don't have any harmful intentions in the luofu, especially after the news about you and your baby being born" madam yukong replied with a stern look, "don't be too serious yukong, what happened if the luofu have a rumor of not knowing how to treat our guest" you replied, "my dear guest of the astral express welcome to the xianzhou luofu, I'm commander ( name ) or by other titles the GENERAL BELOVED "
Your memories before your marriage with him were a blur, you remember being a disciple of the previous sword master jingliu alongside him. You and him would spend time, practice together and play together. All your life you remember him being your only true friend. Even when you managed to discover some of your friends on your own Jing yuan will always be the one you trusted.
Unlike him who grew to be a legend and was soon promoted into a general you stay the same, even tho your skills are not as powerful as him and the other high cloud quintet, you were still strong by standard. You were originally a candidate to be a general but the position was ultimately given to Jing yuan.
He became so clingy, I mean he was clingy before but now he's more due to rarely seeing you outside of work. Madam Baiheng said that you two should just get married by now since you two knew each other for long as well the relationship being more than platonic. And the other agreed. Even tho you denied you and him being a thing, Jing yuan is not against the idea saying that you two should get married together.
Until Baiheng death shift everything upside down, Dan feng led astray and tried to resurrect her using a forbidden ritual and was captured and was forced into reincarnation and his new identity Dan heng is banished from the Luofu, Yingxing was infected by mara struck and left, master jingliu has every sense of sanity and was ultimately with Jing yuan and is now captured and imprisoned.
Now it's just you and Jing yuan all alone together.
One day, you were visiting Jing yuan to see his condition and how he's holding up after these unexpected events. He was drinking tea in his office and you asked him how he was.
He replied "I can't lose anybody else... I can't lose you" and suddenly he stands up and knocks you unconscious....
You wake up in a luxurious bedroom, and when you stand up, you realize you were chained towards the wall, you tried breaking it using anything to set yourself free. Until the door of the bedroom opens revealing Jing yuan.
He purposely chained you and trapped you in this room to keep you safe, you tried everything, you begged and asked him to set you free but he won't budge and he leaves the room.
So every night he would come and bed you, no matter how much you resist he's stronger than you physically over power you, why would he do this is because he wants a child to tie you down with him.
And he managed to tie you down, your first son, Jing Yan. Was born after a few months of this happening, poor baby... The first week you actually refuse to hold him only your attendance but you eventually started to grow closer to him.
And Jing yuan brought another one, yanqing to grow the family he always wanted, and suddenly every sense of your mind started to numb. As well some of your memories are erased completely.
Soon a wedding between you and him happened and was announced as husband and wife... In other words you have become the GENERALS BELOVED ...

okay so hear me out i have a genius idea
yanqing in sumeru. (yes, the obvious option would be to put him in liyue, but i honestly don't feel like writing that right now).
yanqing and cyno interactions.
YANQING AND WANDERER INTERACTIONS.
now that i've caught your attention-
yanqing falls through a wormhole or something. ends up stranded in sumeru. like, right in sumeru city. he wakes up in an alleyway and is like genuinely, what the mcflipping fuck. so he wanders through sumeru, talks to a few people who have NEVER heard of the xianzhou luofu, and eventually, someone reports him to the corps of 30 because there is an unsupervised foreign child who keeps on talking about a xianzhou luofu, what the FUCK is a xianzhou luofu.
they take him in to the matra, he answers a couple of questions, EVERYONE involved is confused as shit, so they pull out cyno. yanqing talks to him and hes like. you remind me of my dad. hahaha. and cyno is like. okay this kid is telling the truth. so we're gonna have to keep him around until we figure out a way to send him back to the luofu.
(this gets really long)
he does not want to go into a fucking rainforest, so he ends up rooming with kaveh & alhaitham after spending a few nights with nahida and bonding with her (i believe they r friends,,,) and she reccomends that he go to stay with them. yanqing is very polite and doesn't make his prsence known a lot because he is genuinely kind of afraid of the two of them even tho they are really nice to him, and one day he goes out and he just wanders through the streets of sumeru and bumps into the wanderer. he introduces himself as 'hat guy' and a friend of nahida's, so yanqing is like, oh, cool. wait, what? your name is HAT GUY?
cue bullying wanderer. and wanderer is like, this kid doesn't know who he's fucking talking to wtf and maybe they end up sparring or something. i think they would bond over fighting and yanqing would pick up a few tips and tricks from wanderer, who probably is secretly like, 'this kid has talent what the fuck where did this child even come from'. eventually after they spar for a bit yanqing ends up telling him more about the xianzhou and from that interaction with wanderer, he starts to come out of his shell more. he eats dinner with kaveh and alhaitham, and gets used to their bickering. he goes to see cyno again and meets tighnari and collei, even faruzan who probably takes a liking to him. people take him to nilou's shows. when candace and dehya visit from the desert he gets to meet them too.
and slowly, over time, they start to get to know him more. he tells them stories of the high cloud quintet, from their rise to their fall. he tells them about the borisin, and hoolay, and feixiao. he tells them about jiaoqiu and his bravery, sushang and her determination, huohuo and tail. he tells them about yunli's bravery and brashness, about jing yuan's patience and slyness, of moze's shennanigans and loyalty.
he tells them broken bits and pieces of stories and then, he tells them about the xianzhou history. he tells them about mara. he tells them about how he's had to cut down soldiers so much older than him that he wouldn't even know when they were born.
he tells them about the disciples of abundance, in little, clipped stories.
and they listen.
he draws his friends, too. he's not too great at it, but he draws them, and tells cyno that he reminds him so much of his dad. he plays tcg with them, joins them for game night. drags wanderer into social interactions, explores sumeru, watches the sun set from the trees.
he makes them little mementos of himself. he commissions someone to make a little bird charm out of materials he gathers up. and then he gives them to his friends, and when jing yuan inevitably comes to see him home (he wants to go back, he loves it here but he loves his home more) they will be able to remember him.
yanqing learns that defeat is okay. he learns that he can be loved. and that people are really complex, and that love can be shown in different ways. yanqing learns that he can love, too. :)
wow this turned way longer than i thought it would so uh. hope u enjoy my nonsensical ramblings!

we keep behind closed doors || jingyuan
note: i know i am late as hell but i had issues haha. this could also be a big multichapter jing yuan fic but idk. jing yuan my husband yes sir anything for you đ¤¤đ¤¤đ¤¤|| minors please do not interact with the post || 552 words || kinktober masterlist.
thereâs something curious about your latest client. the purest white hair, as fluffy as a lionâs mane, and just as messy with how he stashes money inside of it, and yet having eyes so sharp that the entire world could cut itself on it. heâs silent, used to making requests and demands with his eyes alone, and though you hate the egoistic clients who barely make you come, his ego isnât as fragile as he makes it out to be. âhello, dearest.â is how he always starts before you hear the familiar jingling of a pant drop, jewellery, belt and all.Â
âhello, sir.â you whisper into the dark, a tentative hand between your legs moving so fast and steady that one could consider youâve been pavloved into sex and sweat and the ease he brings with him. this man is the only customer who gets you in this kind of mood, after all. âyouâve missed me, i see.â light, lilting- this man has a habit of messing around with you. âiâve missed you too, dearest. wonât you come closer?âÂ
there is no more âcloserâ to come to, not without losing this job, you want to say, but honestly? this is a shitty job, and men like him are 1 in a 1000, so you shuffle on your knees, biting your lip at the friction as the door opens and you close your eyes out of habit. âthereâs my dearest. keep those beautiful eyes closed just like that.â the man murmurs as he ties a silk band around your eyes before covering your body with the thin robe offered by your employer.Â
ânow, my dearest.â he starts, kissing your cheek before hooking your robe in his hands, âdo i have your permission?â you nod, unsure about where this was supposed to be going, nervous about getting in trouble, but all that fades when the man kisses your neck and inches his way towards your chest, kissing and biting your skin as his hands make his way to your hips. âwhen you tell me to stop, i shall. not a word more i need from you. if you do enjoy it, just let me hear you, dearest.â you nod, sighing as he massages your sore body before pushing you onto your back gently, laying you on the finest silk before gently inserting a wet finger into your cunt.Â
âthis i had been waiting to do for ages, dearest.â he sighs as he inserts another gently, bending over to kiss your cheek, neck and chest, littering them with bites that you knew would blossom like the forbidden red lillies in the dark. eventually, he speeds up the pace as he finds the spot that gives you the most pleasure, and as you climax, you feel his hair graze you gently like the exquisite silk curtains many women say grace the rooms of the luofu generalâs home along with your work name whispered like praise instead something so shameful and dirty like most men make it out to be.Â
and as you lay on the silk cloak, catching your breath, he waves your- in no less terms- owner over, and says simply, âi will buy their freedom. consider all their debts paid, and for any discrepancies⌠well, you may contact the general of the xianzhou luofu.â

I thought "Forest of Swords" was just a pretty name, but now knowing it's a punishment given by the Ten-Lords Commission I wonder how it links to Blade
#Fragments and scraps#I talk too much#It's the punishment given to the criminal whose capture marked the beginning of the alliance between the Xianzhou and the Foxians iirc#which makes me even more intrigued given theâ wellâ everything#It's also restricted to name Jingliu to this criminal which is interesting but several of such criminals had this warning listed#So I wonder if there's any particularity here or if she was 'just' the one to apprehend these people#and the story is not much more interesting beyond that. I would love to know though#There are several mentions and names thrown in this that intrigue me very much. I think they make sense#such as Huaiyan being permitted always to visit the Flint Emperor or the marshal of the Xianzhou being the one dealing with Shuhu#but it makes me wonder about them too. Yingxing being the one designing a binding for the criminal that formed delusions to imprison them#in one of their own is very interesting and I'd love to know more about this story. The concept and process. But I guess this will be all#Jing Yuan's name being restricted to be called in front of the criminal they use for interrogations works so well#with how the criminal is being used in exchange for seven days of freedom yearly. That feels such a Jing Yuan move indeed. I loved it#There was a Memorysnatcher that tried to steal the general's memory and I wonder who that was since it wasn't specified#I guess Jing Yuan since we're in the Luofu? That was intriguing too. The previous general was also mentioned at some point#The fact they wonder whether Shuhu is the one in the box is extremely intriguing#especially in the context of what Jingliu said about what Yingxing did#The silence around Imbibitor Lunae is extremely intriguing too but it doesn't surprise me at all. I wonder if it has to be with Jing Yuan#Because that too is a very Jing Yuan move I think. And I love him for that. I adore how he deals with things#I don't talk about him all that much I think but he's one of my favourite characters. Probably my second favourite#I digress... Everything else intrigued me but didn't surprise me all that much#The 'Forest of Swords' mentionâ thoughâ I wasn't expecting at all. And maybe I should haveâ given 'Shuhu's gift'#and the mention of being reborn from a husk. Apparently weightless details that later on got a lot of development and importance#I love that they got that treatment. I say this a lot but I truly adore how this game deals with details and how they get developed#ANYWAY this was a joy to read. I see genius craftman Yingxing being mentioned and a reference to Huaiyan existing at all and I go đĽşâ¨đ#I wonder if we'll ever meet Huaiyan. Ohâ or see the Zhuming. I would love to#So many typos but I'm not sure I'll be fixing them. It's annoying#And sorry for not censoring but I go here to put down some thoughts while I play and it's such a hassle to remember to do so#Besides I always seem to forget doing so once or twice and that's enough for the post to appear in the tags anyway

In fatherâs embrace
synopsis:Â HSR men as dads and what your family dynamic is like.
pairings: Blade, Gepard, Loucha, Sampo, Jing Yuan x fem!reader (separately)
tw: fluff, established relationship, implied initial mortal x immortal in Bladeâs
word count: 5.2k words
a/n:Â Luofu Xianzhou timeline is hell, so Bladeâs one is quite vague. Hereâs the Genshin version!
Blade
Blade tends to say that he has no connection to his past, but that is not true and very few (mostly Kafka) know he is lying. Even with his life and death fucked up he can't simply let go of someone his heart has been always full with, of someone who he promised himself to by the altar, even if under another name, of someone, who gifted him the joy of both his previous and current life - your daughter.
The blade - a cold weapon with no feelings - should not experience being lucky, but thatâs what he was, when you clutched him in your arms the first time after his return from the dead and sobbed in his chest, telling him how much you missed him, how much his little angel missed him.
Back then he should've left without a trace, maybe even coming to you in the first place was a mistake, but he just couldn't. And his resolve crumbled completely when a white-haired toddler in your arms gazed at him with the same soft eyes as yours and reached out to his face, hesitantly asking "dada?".
As much as Blade is capable - he loves you and your daughter. He is quite absent due to his involvement with the Stellaron Hunters, but you understand how important that magenta-haired woman's ability is when it comes to restraining the mara in his body. After all that's the reason why he can visit without fear of hurting you or his little girl.
Some other sacrifices had to be made - one of them was moving from the Lofu Xianzhou, but that was alright and your daughter loved her new environment. Besides, dada has been visiting more often ever since you moved! And no one really bothered or chased after you (after all, you are still registered as his wife and higher ups of Lofu know), which, you assumed, was somehow connected with a young girl that once came with Blade.
Kafka once brought up a proposition of moving you two to the Stellaron Hunters' base for Blade's easier access, but he declined. At least his loved ones should have a peaceful everyday life.
With a tired sigh the black-haired man lowers himself on a sofa in the living room of the house you two purchased to start a seemingly new life. The red-hot iron in his eyes disappears behind the heavy eyelids and for a moment Blade allows himself to relax. The little wonder, that is his daughter, ran to your bedroom to fetch some hair accessories, after you encouraged your husband to let her style his long locks.
He doesnât move when you sit next to him, hip to hip and heart to heart. He welcomes your sneaking fingers, curling his, creating a secure lock of hands. The weight of your head resting on his shoulder is grounding and he canât help but press his cheek against it.
Itâs soothingly silent.
It almost reminds him of the past.
âFor how long will you be staying this time?
Even your question, spoken in a tender, understanding voice, is familiar. You used to ask him the same thing in-between his Cloud Quintet-related missions.Â
These days itâs difficult to sneak and see you during breaks though.
âFifteen days,â his breath is even, and eyes are still shut, but he senses a smile that tugs on the corners of your lips.
âThatâs a lot. She will be so happy,â and he knows that you are as well.
The rapid stomping of little feet bursts into your peaceful serenity, and you simultaneously glance at the doorway. Low and behold - the soon-to-be hair stylist is proudly running into the room, tightly clutching your jewelry box with various hair pins inside.
âDad, I practiced! Mom says Iâve been making huuuuuuge progress!â
A tiny smile touches his pale lips - itâs such a miracle that a monster like him is blessed to have the most adorable child in the whole universe. With her and you by his side, this life gets more and more bearable.
âIf mom says youâve been, then it must be the truth,â he nods, letting go of your hand - but not before giving it a little affectionate stroke with his thumb, - sliding down and onto the floor, turning his back to the girl.
Giggling excitedly, she gives you the box, which you quickly unlock, and starts looking through the many intricate pieces of jewelry (many are your belovedâs presents), until finding the perfect one.
Having his hair being touched is weird. He was aware that the white luscious locks used to draw attention, but only you were honored to run your fingers through them, and only his baby was allowed to tug on them, making her father wince. Now itâs different - she is oh so careful, brushing, collecting stray locks and braiding, not once causing him pain.
Blade sighs again, but looks at you from the corner of his eye, catching you snickering in your palm upon gazing at something that your daughter is turning his hair into. Well, thatâs concerning.
But at this very moment he canât bring himself to care. If he gets fifteen whole days before his next mission, he is going to savor this time with his family - no matter how disastrous heâs going to look by the end of it.
Gepard
A family man. So no one was surprised when in the end the leader of the Silvermane Guards ended up with three kids - two sons and a daughter. Partly it was dictated by the rules of nobles and his family among them, but ultimately it was your mutual sincere decision.
Itâs obvious he is not there for many of his kidsâ first times, as sometimes his duties prevail and even the Supreme Guardian cannot help it, but he really-really tries to be there as much as possible. He appreciates the videos you send him, has every single one stored in his phoneâs memory and sometimes, when there is no communication, in his spare moment he replays them to remind himself that soon heâll return home and see his kids and you.
Only one time he really fucked up because of work - during your first pregnancy you both underestimated the soon arrival of your due date and he left on a mission with his troops, reassured that heâll be back before the day you go into labor. The snowstorm was severe and the connection was cut, so the message Serval sent him when your water broke was not delivered. His soldiers would bring to their graves the image of a deathly pale Gepard, when many hours later he checked his phone back at the base and nearly broke the screen, trying to type his sisterâs number.
After that he started taking paternity leave seriously.
You do not keep in touch with his parents a lot - there were instances where they disapproved of you, but all of his siblings are always welcomed in your house and to see their nephews and niece, because they supported your relationship from the moment they met you in flesh.
Serval is an enormous help when it comes to babysitting. Itâs like her part-time job honestly - you even offered to pay her, but she declined, suggesting offering her a helping hand whenever sheâd need instead. Oh, and to be the first one out of all the Landau siblings (after her brother, of course) to know about the latest updates on your kids.
The kids that are adorable. All three won the âblue eyesâ lottery, which, given the previous generations of Landau, is not a big surprise; both boys look like Gepard, while the girl took more after you in appearance. The man really doesnât want to play favorites, but sometimes he is just too weak for his little princess, who looks just like her mom. She is the youngest too with a pretty big age gap between her and her brothers, who were born a year apart, so there is literally no jealousy, because your sons took their fatherâs example and became her protectors.
Even from a 'big bad dragon' that is their auntâŚ
When you step inside your house and hear the kids still fussing somewhere in the rooms, involuntarily your gaze falls to the old grandfatherâs clock in the foye. Almost midnight. All three should be long asleep with Serval sending you a notification of her success. Which you didnât receive and for that reason had to cut your date short and hurry back home.
Your husband looks as concerned as you are, locking the door and straining his ears to determine whatâs going on. With both your coats abandoned, you carefully step further into the house, making your way to the line of light coming from under one of the doors.
Two jaws almost kiss the floor when you see Serval lying on the floor tied and gagged with a scarf. Alone. For a moment you fear the worst.
Rushing inside, you let Gepard search the other rooms for intruders. Helping your sister-in-law to sit is no problem, but the knot behind her head is awfully tightened. In the end you manage to yank it down to free her mouth, quickly switching to the rope constricting her hands.
âY/n, oh my god,â she gasps, finally able to speak. âWho taught your sons to tie knots like this!? I didnât know a sixteen- and fifteen-year olds can be so strong-â
âCome again?â Stunned, you stop untying her wrists, looking at the woman with widened eyes. Your boys did what?
âMy precious nephews - whom I really do not want to strangle - took the game of knights too seriously, and when - maybe a half an hour ago? - I decided to play the dragon who was stealing the princess - my niece of three years, - they attacked and tied me!â
âHuhâŚâ is all you can say, feeling relief wash over you. At least there are no burglars or kidnappers and your kids are safe.
When, listening Servalâs huffs of complaints, you move to untie her legs, the heavy steps of your husband are heard in the hallway, accompanied by the boys whining and begging their dad not to come to the living room, because the dragon would eat their sister.
His tall figure appears in the doorway, with your daughter in his arms, looking very sleepy, and two almost carbon copies of their dad pulling at his jacket to give them their sister back.
âServal, what in blazes have you told them?â The judging tone and the squint of his blue eyes are directed at his elder sibling.
âIt was just a game, Geppie! A silly game they turned into reality.â
âAunt said sheâd eat her,â your oldest pouts, eyeing her cautiously. âAnd she told us stories about the cannibals the other night-â
âServal, you what?â
âHey, they asked me to! Oh, thanks, Y/n,â she shrugs the loosened rope off of her. âWhere did you even get this?â
âAunt Lynx gave us,â the second son chirps, hugging Gepardâs side. âShe showed us how to do knots.â
âThis little-â
Suddenly you feel a headache coming. With big family come big challenges, but something of this caliber hasnât happened in a while. It makes you smile though - you almost forgot what it was like - to raise two boys. Seems like your girl brings the borderline naughtiest out of them.
Loucha
To begin with it's worth mentioning that your and Loucha's marriage started as an unpredictable necessity. You both needed to enter the world that allowed only married foreigners' access. So, quickly figuring that your goal matches, you got married on a neighboring planet, spent a month there to make the marriage more believable in the sense of its duration and learning more about each other. Yeah, all of that just to fulfill your respectful jobs. You invented and rehearsed all the possible answers to the questions, perfected your affectionate act and were actually feeling quite comfortable around each other.
It was almost funny, when on the 'how many kids do you plan to have?' Loucha confidently answered 'two', and a couple of years later your first son was born, and then, after 7 more years, another one was too.
Admittedly, the oldest one was kind of unplanned, but at that point you traveled so much together, shared so many memories, even ended up caring for each other on a lover-like level, that you decided to give it a shot, just like you did with the continuation of your marriage.
And Loucha couldn't be more pleased. Surprisingly, he found the peace of those first years he spent settled down to raise your boy delightful. And there was something exciting about having a little wonder with a perfect mix of both of your features in your arms, as your husband's hand is resting on the small of your back, leading you through the crowds of the new planet's lively market, as the child's eyes shine with marvel, taking in his surroundings.
When Loucha suggested having another one it simply felt right.
Your sons are so lucky in the sense of seeing the universe, because their father is a traveling merchant. Sure, he doesn't always take you and your two boys with him, but whenever his deal allows him enough freedom and your kids are doing great in school and can be taken on a little vacation - you three are going with him.
Usually he gets to take care of the youngest one, since only Loucha's vast knowledge can satisfy his curiosity, while the oldest one calmly walks hand in hand with you, content with listening to their conversation and pointing out to you the things he already knows himself, receiving a soft praise from you and an approving nod from his father.
Back home the roles reverse - the oldest is spending most of his time with Loucha to learn all about medicine and healing techniques, while the youngest is more interested in sharing your hobbies.Â
The two hardly ever quarrel as siblings tend to do, and it must be because of the overall serene atmosphere of your family dynamic, your soft nature and your husband's tranquil behavior.Â
More than a decade ago Loucha wouldn't have imagined himself with a wife and kids. Nowadays, however, he doesn't like the thought of not having the three of you by his side.
It is a quiet afternoon. A little house you rented for a little vacation has a nice yard - perfect for the kids to have fun outside. You occasionally glance at them from the window of the kitchen to make sure everything is fine, while your hands never stop moving - washing, cutting, stirring.
At some point you are so caught in the moment of tranquility, that you do not hear your husband walking in, until he softly hums to alert you of his presence, and puts his palms on your waist.
âSmells delicious,â you smile, feeling his chin on your shoulder, and grab a piece of a tangerine you are meaning to use for dessert, offering it to him.
âMhm, I am trying to cook what we had yesterday at that restaurant.â
Ah, right, the restaurant the kids enjoyed. He remembers how you sneaked to the kitchen and came back with a little less credits, but with new recipes and an excited smile on your face.
âHopefully my rendition will be to our boysâ liking. And donât think I forgot about you - those Loufu Xianzhou-style noodles are already on their way!â
âSo thoughtful of you, darling,â his silky voice caresses your ear and not a second later a kiss is pressed to your cheek. âDo you need any help?â
âWerenât you busy?â You decide to clarify, clearly recounting how he locked himself in one of the rooms earlier that day to test something. To your question Loucha shakes his head.
âAll done already. And I missed you and the kids.â
âThen go and play with them,â you urge, turning to face him to offer a sweet smile. âIâll handle it here, but the boys could use some quality time with their father.â
âYou say that as if they didnât drag us all around the city yesterday and then climb into our bed and refuse to leave.â
âI mean, itâs the first time in two months they properly see you. That last deal of yours was exceptionally time-consuming.â
âYou kept me updated on them so well and those video calls we had⌠it didnât even feel like I ever left.â
You only huff and return your gaze to the stove, yet leaning into his chest a little. For a minute itâs quiet, and the man is taking his time before parting from you. That is until he takes a deep inhale and nuzzles his face in your neck.
âThank you, Y/n.â
âWhat for, handsome?â There is that teasing lilt in your voice he came to love. Over the course of your lives together he discovered many things to love you for, and if not for that desperate decision to get married - he thinks heâd hardly ever feel the same about his life.
âFor everything.â
He leaves your side with a kiss on your shoulder and the next time you glance out of the window again - he is already there, hoisting his youngest in one arm and chasing after the oldest one with his hair swaying in the gentle wind. And your heart is at peace.Â
Sampo
In all his life Sampo has managed to never impregnate a single woman and he considers that a success. For all the crap people speak about him Sampo is not an idiot, even though he acts like a fool at times. He is extremely self-aware and bringing a child to this world is probably the last thing on his list.
But no one said anything about someone elseâs child, right?
Your and Sampoâs relationship is⌠strange, not going to lie. One evening you happened to help a scared woman to escape from some drunkards (whom you lately found out were the Silvermane Guards, sober and on duty), only for the long wig to slip and the heavy coat to slide down, revealing shortly cut but nicely styled hair and obviously male broad shoulders. The only thing the man managed to get out was a sheepish âheheâ.
And boy did that âheheâ change your life.
That day Sampo Koski got off the hook, since you didnât comment anyhow and just let him go, which, given you were an overworlder, he found intriguing. So he dug a little bit, out of pure curiosity. Besides, this man didn't like staying in debt to someone and he needed information to see how he could pay you back.
Thatâs when he found out you were a single mother. An opera singer, but divorced and with full custody over a six-year old daughter.
And honestly, he didnât give it much thought at first. He simply arranged a nice bouquet of red roses for you, paid Natasha a little for a handmade plushie and left it all at the door steps with a âthank youâ note.
Until a couple of weeks ago, disguised again, he didnât stumble into a group of kids obviously bullying a little girl, mocking her for not having a father, and throwing something among themselves that she tried to catch. And he recognized the toy. And one glance was enough to see how much she looked like the woman he met only once. And against his better judgment Sampo walked to the children, easily snatching the toy and effectively scaring everyone off. Only with that little girl still being there, eyes full of unshed tears and fingers digging in the skirt of her pretty dress.
That tiny âthank youâ when he handed the plushie back to her and she hugged it tightly to her chest made the conmanâs heart clench, and for the second time that day he sent his plans to hell, keeping her company near the house you lived in until you arrived from work.
That day he learned many things - how much your daughter loved the toy and what a sweet little thing she was, how tired a person can look and how much a throat can hurt from the whole day of singing during rehearsals, how nice a home-made dinner can be once you are invited, but most importantly - how even such a damned man like him can be gazed upon with gratitude and not from one, but two people.
From that day many other instances happened, but in the end he just stuck around. It was strange, it was new, but in a sense it was comforting, especially when you would come home - on Friday, for example, - and heâd be there, entertaining your daughter and then greeting you with a smile and a silly wave of his hand.
You donât have a husband, and your daughter doesnât have a father - but with his presence Sampo Koski manages to fill those voids even if a little bit.
Aeons you love days off. A morning to finally sleep in and do not run around like crazy in attempts to get yourself and your kid ready. Even breakfast wasnât on you today, because the âsilly manâ stayed the night and told you to get your sleep, assuring you with that confident puff of his chest that the Sampo Koski would offer you his best service, which effectively made you giggle.
Tonight he even cuddled with you, letting you bury your face in his neck and be a little vulnerable in the arms of a man with whom you had the most peculiar relationship ever. But after such equally peculiar moments you really start thinking of suggesting moving from the couch in the living room to your bedroom permanently. Itâs been months already, who wouldâve thought.
Barefoot and not even glancing at the robe on the chair near the window you leave the room, rubbing at your eyes and brushing your hair away from your face. You are craving the cup of your morning drink, and so you let your legs carry you to the kitchen at first. However two voices coming from your wardrobe room instantly peak your interest and make you halt in your walking. What on earth could your daughter and your clown of a man be doing there?
And soon enough you find it out.
âSit still, please!â The girl begs with an eye shadow palette in one tiny hand and a huge brush in the other. âItâll smudge if you keep turning to the mirror!â
âJust canât wait to see how beautiful I am, princess, âs all~â
There, on the floor among the rows of your clothes and shelves with beauty products and accessories, none other than Sampo is sitting, willingly offering his face to your daughterâs practice of applying makeup. And gods he looks absolutely hilarious.
But thatâs not what exactly concerns you.
âIs that my dress?â You point at the red shimmery thing snuggly sitting on the man in front of you and thatâs when the two notice you.
âYes, mommy!â
âSay I pulled it off, right?â With a smirk the green-eyed menace winks at you and it looks even worse with poorly done lashes. You have to stifle your laughter. âThough I must admit, we had to keep it unzipped - my chest appeared to be bigger than yours-â
And thatâs when you regret not bringing slippers with you - one flying in his head would be of great help.
âSometimes I really hate you.â
âNuh, sweet thing, you love me!â
âWell,â you step closer, grabbing a tissue to try and fix at least the overly bright blush on his cheeks, âmaybe. Maybe I actually do.â
Suddenly Sampo is tongue-tied and silent, trying very hard to fight off the stupid grin forcing its way onto his face. But with thoroughly smeared red lipstick on his mouth it looks so damn comical.
âMom, do you think pa looks pretty?â Your daughter hopefully asks, putting aside her tools, and that little two-letter word doesnât go unnoticed by either of you. You feel a real blush burning under your deft fingers.
âYes, sweety, Pa-mpo looks very pretty,â his head whips in your direction like youâve just told him to go and surrender to the Belobogâs esteemed order keepers.
â...Pa-mpo?â
âWould you prefer Da-mpo instead?â Cocking your head in question, you smirk at him, relishing in the pout he is wearing at the moment. âOr maybe Sam-pa?â
âNo, thank you very much,â he huffs. âLittle princess called me âpaâ, so be nice and respect it.â
And now it is you who is surprised. You havenât really discussed with Sampo who he was to your daughter, and who she was to him - but if he is making this step of acknowledging the matter, then who are you to spoil it? Who knows, maybe things will work out quite pleasantly in the end.
âAlright, pa, I will respect that.â
âHey! For you I am your precious popo baby, a koskiss to your lips, the love of your-â
âDonât even dream of it.â
Jing Yuan
Yanqing would be enough of an answer to the kid question, but it is not. Sure, his young disciple is practically a son to the General, but it doesn't mean the man doesn't want his own children.
He does and he has. On multiple occasions Jing Yuan's subordinates walked in on him with a small figure sitting in his lap or perched on his strong arm, observing what the dad's been up to with his plans and documents. You scolded your husband for this many times, but the bastard only smiles and keeps stealing his daughter to work to keep him company. Or she sneaks on her own - that caused you many almost heart attacks when she was no older than a couple of decades.
For Jing Yuan itâs all good though - he gets to spend time with his baby and have you inevitably join him in search for your adventurous child.
The General has a separate folder for all the pictures of his daughter on his phone - every single one he takes and every single one you send him when he couldnât bring his girl to some of his meetings (yet he really tried, until you put your foot down and saved many of his subordinates from the prolonging of said meetings). Even the background, hidden from prying eyes behind the passcode of your and her birthdays, is his little one, cradled in your arms, as the two of you are watching kites flying in the sky.
Yanqing at first was set on treating her with the same respect he does his mentor and you, his wife, but you quickly put an end to it, basically turning the boy into her older brother. He didnât mind at all - if anything he is sometimes way too eager to push the two of you to go on a date so he can babysit. Often you would return to the two fast asleep either on the girlâs bed or cuddled to Mimi with toys scattered and at least two books lying on the floor. The huge lion adores the girl - sometimes you feel like it thinks of her as its own cub, and the thick mane of hair your daughter got from her father does not help.
And it appeared to be as eager to steal your daughter from you as your husband isâŚ
âY/n!â You practically jump when the doors to your bedroom fly open and Jing Yuan bursts inside. Immediately you notice his disheveled state - hair down and a mess, the robe he wore this morning for comfortable work in his home office is falling off one of his shoulders and a shoe is missing from his foot.
âAeons, Yuan, donât scare me like that,â you put a comb down on your vanity table and fully turn to face him. âWhat happened?â
âIs our precious baby with you?â He steps further into the room and starts looking around frantically. Okay, now that got worrisome.
âNo? You took her earlier this afternoon after lunch to play in your study while you work. Have you really forgotten that? My love, you are getting old.â
You hear clearly as he curses under his breath, raking thick fingers through his hair. The golden eyes look at you and in them you spot a flicker of anxiety.
â...Jing Yuan, donât tell me that you managed to lose our daughter.â
âI didnât, I swear,â he winces at the full name usage, watching you rise from your seat and quickly approach him. âShe was right by my side, watching the animal videos on my phone, but then I got immersed in the latest reports from the Sky-Faring Commission and when I finished whose - she was gone!â
âUh, want me to call your phone? Maybe she still has it.â
To that he puts a hand in the robeâs pocket and brings out his device. Oh god.
âIt was lying on the floor, still playing videos.â
âOkay, deep breaths,â you are not sure if you are telling it to him or to yourself, but you too take an inhale, meanwhile busying your hands with adjusting his clothes. âEven buried in work youâd still notice if a human sneaked in, right?â He nods. âAnd youâd notice if she left - she wouldâve warned you about that.â He nods again, lips pursed and eyes staring at one point. âYanqing is not as skilled to come unannounced and take her, and he wouldnât do it without your permission, so-â
âWait,â his hand catches yours and realization flashes in his features. âMimi came.â
â...Mimi?â Before you can ask him to elaborate, your husband turns around and rushes out of the bedroom. Concerned and a little bit intrigued, you quickly follow.
In one of the rooms of your huge house the two of you finally find the lion, and Jing Yuan almost drops on the floor in relief when his girl is spotted in the animalâs embrace.Â
âIs sheâŚsleeping?â You ask, glancing from behind his broad back.
âIt appears so. Hey, Mimi,â the maned head lifts, two ambers taking in your appearances and a pleased huff is let out through the nose upon recognition.
âWell, my dear,â you pat his shoulder, shaking your head, âit appears that people were right - like the owner, like the pet. Congratulations, your lion took your habit of stealing our daughter to heart. Good luck prying her from it.â
âYou say it like itâs something hard to do,â there it is, a confident smile is back on his face as he strides closer to the animal, ready to bend down and get his girl. Only for that lift of the corners of his lips to be gone when Mimi growls at him in a warning and shields your daughterâs little body with its head.
You only smirk and leave the scene to go and get your phone - there is no way you are not filming your husband dealing with the consequences of his own behavior.

How do I tell my husband he got scammed into buying a lion?
⧠jing yuan x gn!reader
⧠summary: during one autumn afternoon you're suddenly faced with another one of your husband's impulsive purchases. only that this time it's a living being.
⧠content: established relationship, fluff, humor, might be a bit ooc
⧠a/n: hello there hsr fandom! i have unfortunately lost the battle against myself on making another sideblog for jing yuan, the man who has singlehandedly occupied my mind since his first appearance in the beta. i do hope that this will actually appear in the tags, but every infomation you would need if you want to request something is all up on the blog if you so wish! i hope we can have a pleasant time together !!
also this is not beta-read, we die like how fast my resolve to not create a jing yuan blog died.
Being the spouse of the Arbiter-General of the Xianzhou Luofu comes with it's share of benefits and disadvantages. For one you're regarded at a higher position than most of it's citizens, often being stopped on the side of the road when taking a walk to exchange numerous pleasantries with merchants from outside of Xianzhou, various store owners or cloud knights on duty.
Another factor is shouldering the burden your husband has on his shoulder, an oath you had taken yourself the day you accepted Jing Yuan's nth proposal. You considered that a fair trade with his vast knowledge and insight into a possible future and doing everything behind the scene to avoid colliding headfirst into said problem. A feat that attracted you towards the general in the first place, minus his dashing looks of course.
The biggest disadvantage of publicly announcing that you were indeed the Arbiter-General's significant other was doing everything within your power to not throw your husband's famous title away for a newer, more terrible one. (more utc!)
Because as you see him walking up the steps of the Seat of Divine Foresight, your gaze is not locked with your husband's smiling face, rather it's fixated on the small being he has cradled in his arms. The soft smile you had quickly spreading into a more nervous and confused smile as you glance over at Qingzu, the counselor looking at you with just as much confusion.
How in the world did you manage to leave him alone out in the market area for an hour and he comes back with a lion cub?
"[Name], darling! Look at this grimalkin that a merchant had!"
A what now?
"... A grimalkin, you say?" Every book that has recorded history had specified that the grimalkin species had gone extinct, and you were well aware that your husband knew this fact. And yet here you were, faced with his smile directed down towards what you can clearly tell is a lion cub, his thumb pressing down at its paws affectionately.
You're starting to think that Yanqing's impulsive purchases with his sword collection aligns with your own husband's impulsiveness.
Coughing loudly into your hand, you take a deep breath before descending down the stairs to be on the same level as Jing Yuan, peering down onto the cub's face. It was indeed cute, and judging by how enamored Jing Yuan is, you can clearly tell that it's small stature is what attracted him to it in the first place.
Oh he's going to be crushed when it grows up, "It's adorable, Jing Yuan," you settle on saying, waving a finger over the lion's grimalkin face, the animal lifting its paws to try to grab it. You shoot a look towards Qingzu, a silent command for her to look into which outer merchant was now scamming people into buying literal lions. The counselor quickly excusing herself to look into the matter immediately, Jing Yuan only giving her a smile and a wave of his hand as she scurries down the stairs.
"Right? I decided to name it Mimi," he muses, and your heart breaks a tiny bit for him, but there are more pressing matters at hand than the fact that your husband once again got scammed because he was most likely bored out of his mind.
You would rather that the Xianzhou citizens know him as "The Dozing General" instead of the general that gets scammed a few times too many. How does one even go on about trying to tell their husband that the grimalkin in his arms is actually a lion?
"A fitting name indeed," you mutter, raising a hand to caress Jing Yuan's cheek, a simple gesture to make the general direct his attention to you. However, you could still see that his guard was slightly up with you. You only chuckle at that, leaning in to slide your lips over his own, Jing Yuan wasting no time to press back.
Another well hidden secret reserved for the walls of the Divine Foresight is the fact your husband is incredibly weak for his own spouse.
"... Want to tell me how much you paid for Mimi, dear?" you ask in a whisper when your lips part, thumb caressing over the mole under his eye.
Jing Yuan merely smiles, twisting his head to press his lips against your hand instead, "It was from my personal wallet, dear. Please don't fret over the small details."
"Darling, I hope you're aware that the small details would be the necessary funding for accomodation, toys and food, right?" you say with a chuckle, your husband freezing with his ministrations upon remembering that fact.
Oh well, you want to see how long it takes before your husband comes to realization that it's a lion. You just have to be extra vigilant towards the numerous fundings in the meantime.
While scrolling through your schedule for the next morning, your phone dings with a message from Qingzu. You quickly look down at Mimi whose resting on your belly and then at Jing Yuan whose sleeping self is still snoring away by your shoulder before letting out a small sigh in relief that the loud noise didn't awake any of them.
Qingzu:
Do I even have a say in this?
Was the message sent by Qingzu, attatched to it is a picture taken of what you can only presume is one of Jing Yuan's "diaries". The contents of it making you let out a low laugh, the shaking making said man beside you grumble before pressing his face into your neck.
Attatched image:
"Eventually, I paid hefty sum for the grimalkin, named it "Mimi", and took it home. Only that I'm too busy with official business and have little time to take care of Mimi. After thinking it over, chores like feeding it and changing its water should also be entrusted to Qingzu. I do wonder why [Name] looked so distraught when they first saw Mimi though. Maybe they didn't think I would favor the petite and small animals instead of the usual large and strong ones?"
[Name]:
So Qingzu, do you have an idea what the easiest way to tell someone they got scammed is?
Qingzu:
That is the role of the spouse, not the counselor.

đŤđŹđđ˛âđ° đ¨đŚđŤđ¨đąđŹđđ˘đŻ đŹđŁ 2023!
day 5: caught masturbating with jing yuan from hsr
warnings: caught masturbating, slight exhibitionism, dry humping, undergarments stealing, handjob, praise, thigh riding
notes: hehehehehhe pervy eepy general<333
having a person in a position of power and authority as a lover can be so stressful and scary sometimes. although jing yuan tries his best to make time for you and to spend some quality time together, being the general of the luofu can be so much.
not only was your lover an important figure, so were you. being the most famous merchant in the xianzhou alliance itself gets hard. but it is all worth it to see your sweet lover getting giddy over a new souvenir you brought back. whether that be a tea that helps to relieve stress or now his favorite pair of undergarments that you bought from a different world.
the very same pair now in his hand, wrapped around his hard and angry red cock as jing yuan tries desperately to reach his high without your help. can you blame the poor man? he went so long without your touch and caresses or even smooches to help him out, he was getting desperate.
biting down harder on his lower lip, so hard to the point he could taste the familiar metallic taste of blood on his lips, jing yuan forces himself to stay quiet as his hand moves to become tighter and more desperate on his weeping cock. being in his office in the seat of divine foresight, anyone could easily walk in at any moment and see their perverted general, desperately humping the undergarment of his lover.
and that did happen. you just happened to come back from a business trip to another one of the xianzhou ships earlier than you said you would. and what better sight to greet your tired eyes than that of your lover, fucking his red cock into his fist, barely held back moans and whines of your name tumbling out of his lips.
oh, what a sight to behold.
everyone on the luofu knows and regards jing yuan as the ever so calm and composed general. one of the seven arbiter general of the alliance, one of the six charioteers, always so dependable and perfect. everyone but you.
only you know how weak this man is. only you know how tired he is of his position as general. only you know how with a simple pair of undergarments of yours, your lover of many centuries would turn into a weak fool who would do anything just to get a taste of you.
the white haired man has still yet to notice your presence nor hear the sound of the lock on his office door quietly going click!. he only comes to his senses when he feels your arms wrap around his head, pulling his head close to yourself to rest over your beating heart.
the single whiff of your usual cologne was more than enough for the poor pent up general. hips bucking in his seat as he lets out a loud moan of your name into the fabric of your shirt before his cock spurts out ropes of cum, staining your undergarment that was still wrapped tightly in his grasp.
wasting no time, jing yuanâs free hand pulls you down to sit on his large seat as he settles himself on your lap. you knew this position well. having done this many times before in this same seat, in this same place, in the same position. your lover was quite the pervert underneath the aura of calm and sleepy facade he shows to the world.
âm-my love! aawhhh.. youâre back. youâre back youâre back youâre back! iâm so glad⌠missed you. missed you so much, my loveâ!â jing yuan wastes no time. with frantic movements and an embarrassingly hard again cock, he starts to rut himself on your thigh, humping your thigh over the fabric of your pants with weak whines and moans.
nestling his face into the crook of your neck, the white haired man places gentle kisses on the exposed skin on your neck as much as he could. the way his lips would tremble, whines and moans slipping out as he barely holds himself together to place revering kisses on your skin making you feel loved. and love him in return.
ââm sorry. i have been gone for so long that i left you all alone and pent up, dearâ you coo softly, your hand coming to wrap around his hard cock. how he manages to get hard again so easily just by being in your presence should prove just how utterly whipped he was for you. and it does. and you love him immensely for being so infatuated with you just as you are with him.
âno⌠no no, itâs okayyygh! itâs okay⌠youâre back, my love. thatâs all that matters to me aanh! aaahmgâĄď¸â!â the general shakes his head, trying to reassure you through salacious moans and rutting himself on your thigh.
when your hand wrapped around his hardened cock again, thumb pushing on the underside of his sweet mushroom tip causing the general to let out loud, debouched sounds akin to a mewl of a cat. his hips buck weakly into your closed fist, trying to reach his high again on your hand and the soiled undergarment of yours.
it was wrong to greet his tired beloved back without a welcome back kiss beforehand, but the fluffy haired man in your lap was desperate and you seemed to understand. how he managed to be so lucky to become your lover was a mystery to him.
with soft coos of praises and how you missed him as much as he did, your hand expertly teasing his drooling slit, fucking his cock into your tightly closed fist, jing yuan lets out delirious babbles of how much he loves you as he comes on your hand.
placing a gentle kiss to his temple, your clean hand runs through his untamable white mane, the two of you simply bask in the peaceful afterglow of reunion and pleasure. cupping your cheek with his clean hand, jung yuan tilts your head to look at him before leaning and giving you a soft peck on your lips. with his signature cheeky grin and heart shaped pupils, he softly whispers,
âwelcome back, my beloved.â

Golden Hour
Jing Yuan | M. Reader
----------
Reincarnation AU
----------
There's a particular painting inside the Luofu Museum. It's a painting of the former General, they say that the General never smiles and always has a blank expression. That painting is the most precious and one of a kind in the whole world...
Why?
Because it's the only time...
Where the General finally smiles...
----------
"Huh... "Wise and Brave; Jing Yuan." Hey, wouldn't it be funny if he's actually you from the past?"
"Nonsense, we just have the same name."
[Name] turn his head towards the white haired man with a raised eyebrow. "Yeah.. Sure.. But you do have the same smile as him." He said as he look back at the painting in front of them.
The General in the painting looks almost identical to the man standing beside him down to the same smile. Then again, [Name] couldn't imagine Jing Yuan being all stoic like, a smile fits him better. "You know... They say that the General had fallen in love with the Strategist in the Xianzhou, some even say that the Strategist was the reason why he started smiling."
"Really?"
"It's just a myth though, don't know if it's true."
Jing Yuan chuckles at that statement, after all myths are just myths, there's no telling if it's real or not. It's probably fake, people usually make up things just to satisfy their own fantasies, but something in him tells him otherwise.
That maybe, just maybe... It's the truth.
.
.
.
.
.
"ARE YOU INSANE?!"
"It's the most optimal solution, General."
"BY SACRIFICING MY MEN!?"
"Losing a handful of soldiers are better than losing civilians, plusâisn't it their duty to give their live for the people and die in battle?"
"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT WITH SUCH A CALM VOICE?!" The General huffs as he glared daggers at the man in front of him, the man who proposed the very strategy that practically sacrifices his men "for the greater good." Jing Yuan always wonder how this man is able to be the Strategist of the Xianzhou...
A man who stood to benefit from betraying others... It's not proven or anything and yet...
Jing Yuan is certain that he'd turn against the Reignbow Arbiter in a heartbeat...
There's isn't a sane bone in his body.
The other man sigh at Jing Yuan's response as he crosses his arms and spoke up with his usual calm yet firm voice. "And here I thought you'd be more reasonable, given that you're the General."
"The leader of an organization is at the pinnacle of it and, at the same time, he is its slave. The leader must be more than willing to commit any atrocity in order to ensure the organisation's survival."
He hates it.... He hates this man so much...
How could he talk about that so casually? As if these men... Were just mere pawns to him... After all sacrificing a few pawns means relatively little if it means your King's safety.
'He's not thinking about the people.. He's thinking about the Xianzhou Loufu's survival instead...'
"They were right about you... You're a wolf in sheep's clothing..." He started as he continues to glare daggers at the man. The man only gave him an unamused look as he asked in a calm voice. "And why would you think that?" Jing Yuan scoffed at the question as he crosses his arms. "Talking to you is impossible."
"But in all honesty, give my strategy some thought, General."
"There's nothing left to think regarding that. I want you to change it this instant."
The man sigh at the order he was given, he uncrossed his arms and took back the papers from the General's desk. "As you wish."
And with that... The man left his office.
Jing Yuan sigh as he put a hand on his forehead and look down at his wooden desk. "I can't believe that man... [Name] was it..?" He mumbled under his breath.
'It's as if a life meant relatively little to him.'
.
.
.
.
.
"I never knew you could be a skilled doctor.."
"I was the Head Physician before becoming your strategist, General."
"..."
The two fall silent as [Name] bandaged the general's wounds. It seems even the "Mighty General of the Loufu" can get hurt. How fascinating. Once he's done, [Name] lets out a sigh and puts back the supplies he had used. "I suggest you shouldn't go to any missions at the moment. Let your wounds heal."
Jing Yuan remains silent as he inspects his carefully treated wounds. The bandages aren't too tight, and his body isn't as sore anymore. [Name] might be a sociopath with the types of strategies he comes up with. But he's a wonderful physician. Maybe he should stay as one.
"Can't have you start bleeding out in the middle of a fight after all. Unless you wanted me to operate on you then go ahead."
Jing Yuan can't help but sigh at those words. Of course the doctor has to open his mouth and end it on that note... even if he's good, [Name]'s still a sociopath though..
"...Understood."
"Good."
.
.
.
.
.
The crowd was silent as they watched the starskiff flies to through the sky. Reaching greater heights. "Another sent of.." The doctor mumbled under his breath.
"Sad, isn't it?"
"Not really."
Oh you sociopath! Jing Yuan snapped his head towards him. He was about to argue until he saw a soft smile on the doctor's face. A soft. Melancholy. Smile.
"It's not sad. It's poetic." [Name] says softly as he watches the starskiff. "In a way, if you're at a loss, you could look up at the sky and.... remember that they're watching over you.. and there's nothing to be afraid of.." Turning his head towards the general, [Name] gave him a closed eye smile as his hair got caught in the wind. "It's almost romantic, is it not?"
Jing Yuan felt a strange and warm feeling on his chest. Without thinking, he returns the smile with his own. "If you put it that way.. it is kinda poetic.."
----------
"Well... I heard that the Strategist is far more worse than the General." Jing Yuan spoke up, making [Name] turn his head to look at him with a raised eyebrow. "Really?" He asked as he crosses his arms, waiting for am explanation. "Yup, they say that the Strategist is a sociopath. I've also heard that the General was the reason the Strategist began to have a "heart". " Jing Yuan concluded with a smirk on his face.
[Name] can't help but chuckle at those words. For some reason.. he had a feeling it was true..

Still Yours
[ Dan Heng x Reader | SFW | Masterlist | AO3 ]
Synopsis: Dan Heng reunites with the group at Scalegorge and seeks to sooth a tension that's developed between the two of you.
Notes: Had another version of this I wrote to completion then completely scrapped it because I was dissatisfied with the ending. Perfectionism is a burden I must overcome. Writing this just happens to coincide with the return of IL's banner but I'm lowkey hoping it blesses my pulls. I need him. If he comes home, I'll work on a nsfw part 2 so PLEASE. GIVE ME YOUR BLESSINGS.
cw: SFW, some suggestive themes in the latter half, gn!reader, lil angst, plenty of cuddles, reader is a tease, established relationship, reader can be perceived as TB, spoilers for Topclouded Towerthrust Trailblaze Mission.
Word Count: ~2.5k
The two of you hadnât exchanged a single word since Dan Heng managed to reconnect with the departed expedition team on the Xianzhou Luofu. Not as he parted the oceans. Not as they traversed the ruins of the Scalegorge Waterscape. Not as they fought Phantyliaâs vessel of Abundance. Every time his gaze landed on you, you were looking elsewhere. Occupied with murals or enemies that stood in your path. In all fairness, there wasnât much breathing room with the destruction of the Luofu so close at hand but the absence of your gaze felt⌠empty. Like he was still apart from you even though you were only a few feet away from him at any given time.
There was only one moment as you traversed through the Scalegorge Waterscape that the two of you were alone. He had caught you by a vidyadhara egg, eyes seemingly transfixed by either its iridescent sheen or the individual within. A back part of his brain recognized these few seconds, however brief, as a window of opportunity to talk. But in the moment, he found his breath caught in his throat and his gaze intent on observing your reactions, instead. He watched your hand rise from your side, a gentle palm placed gingerly against the eggâs scaled outer shell. Your eyes flutter closed as you listened to the echoes of a past life slowly shedding away, expression contorted in a way he couldnât quite identify. Not from the distance currently held between you. Was it⌠sadness? Melancholy? Relief? Did you grieve a lifeâs end or celebrate its rebirth? Or did you see oneâs past and future united in a single entity.
ââŚâ
He wanted to speak up then. To acknowledge the silent questions that lingered between you two. To quell his own growing anxieties. However, before he could even gather the words to broach such a topic, your gentle hand pulls away from the egg. Your attention bestowed not upon him, but March 7th calling your name in the distance. Apparently, you had lingered too long and Mr. Yang was advising against getting separated. It made sense. Dan Heng watches as your fingers retract from the egg, the flow of memories fading from your mind as you reconvene the group and once again youâve wandered out of his reach. He can only follow silently, his gaze lingering on the egg for a fraction of a moment as everyone regroups.
There was a tension between the two of you, of that he was certain the both of you felt. Unknowns left unanswered, lingering uncertainty about where they stood with not a single moment where they could be soothed. He shouldnât be surprised. In one crashing wave the entirety of the sins he had tried so hard to run from had engulfed him once again, and this time itâs caught his Express companions within it. The only thing he didnât know was how much of Dan Fengâs crimes youâd really discovered.
Itâs not until they were hurriedly leaving the Scalegorge Waterscape with an unconscious Xianzhou general in their arms that he noticed you pause again. As the others tended to Jing Yuan, there you stood at the base of the high elderâs statue, scrutinizing its stone features. Dan Heng, in turn, stared at you. So caught up in trying to decipher your expression that he nearly jumped out of his skin when your gaze turned to him for the first time in what felt like an eternity since his arrival. The vidyadhara stiffens, heart spiking to his throat. You seem equally shocked, but a sudden nervousness darts his eyes away from you in an instant, and heâs back to aiding the others. Somewhere in the commotion Mr. Yang suggests they return to the mainland to get the general proper care and the group moves obligingly, sweeping the two of you back into the residual excitement following Phantyliaâs defeat and once again snuffing out any opportunities to talk.
It seems an eternity before youâre finally saying your goodbyes to the Luofu officials for the night. Jing Yuan was in the hands of trusted individuals of the Alchemy Commission and Fu Xuan gives you the barest skeleton of a debrief, the remaining group agreeing a more in-depth discussion can be reserved for the morning once all had at least had a chance to rest properly and the generalâs condition has stabilized. Even so, Mr. Yang opts to remain a moment longer with the intention of discussing the nuances of their plan to handle the stellaron, and March had long ago left for her hotel room the moment everyone stepped back on the mainland, the usually peppy girl understandably. You had no doubt sheâd be out like a light well into the following morning. However that, in turn, left you and Dan Heng alone to traverse the path back to your hotel. The starskiff ride was silent. The walk from the docks to the hotel, soundless. If you had something to say you werenât saying it yet, and Dan Heng had no idea where to even begin.
Itâs only as youâre reaching for the handle of your own assigned room that you free hand is suddenly snatched in the grip of another. The motion was so tempered in movement but desperate in speed, that it nearly drew a startled sound out of you. You turn to meet Dan Hengâs gaze for the first time since Scalegorge. His eyes are pleading, stirring with questions and uncertainties barely held behind stoic lips. ââŚâ Thereâs a second of silence before you acquiesce, fingers retreat from your door, and Dan Heng nearly sighs with relief right then and there. Instead, you feel his grip loosen a fraction around your hand. His shoulders lose a bit of their stiffness, but he doesnât let you go, and you allow him to silently lead you further down the hallway to his assigned room.
The silence between you persists.
Your eyes were trained on the back of his head, on the flow of dark hair down his back, and the teal tips of a set of semi-translucent horns. Idly, you wondered if you could touch them. Would he feel it if you did? Or would your fingers just pass through nothing at all. Even as the battle had ended, Dan Heng remained in this form for reasons yet known to you. Youâre brought back from your thoughts to the telltale click of an unlocked door and with a gentle tug of your hand in his, he leads you inside, only letting go once youâve stepped in to close the door behind you. Your eyes scan the room in the meantime. A standard unit no different from your own on the first night here, though considerably untouched. You wonder if Dan Heng has slept at all since arriving on the Luofu. No doubt he couldnât walk around openly on the streets without drawing unwanted attention. The thought has a slight frown tugging at the corners of your lips.
Thereâs a bit of an awkward moment as Dan Heng tries to figure out how to broach the subject, something you recognize as a common habit from the poor man despite looking so different from how you remember him. So, you attempt to bridge the growing gap between you by making the first move. You settle on the edge of the bed, giving your best attempt at a reassuring smile despite the worried tick in your brows, and holding out an inviting hand. Youâre grateful when he takes it, stiff as he moves to sit beside you, though you donât draw attention to how he keeps holding your hand afterwards. âHow⌠much,â he starts tentatively, keeping his eyes on your intertwined fingers rather than you, âdid you learn about the previous High Elder?â
A long sigh leaves through your nose as you ponder the question. You wonder if you should relay everything. But looking over at the sullen expression already spread across a face youâre so familiar with, you understand thereâs nothing you could say he didnât already know. âItâs certainly a lot to wrap a head around,â you settle on. He winces anyways, but you press on gently. âA⌠vidyadhara, right? Thatâs what you are?â Itâs stiff, the way Dan Heng nods in response. âWhen we first saw you today⌠you looked so different I almost didnât recognize you.â Now itâs your turn to look away. âFor a bit I thoughtâŚâ You lean against his side and hug his arm close, ââŚmaybe you werenât there anymore.â Dan Heng aches with the trepidation in your tone, squeezing your hand tightly.
ââŚI know.â
âBut youâre still Dan Heng, right?â
âIâŚâ
He swallows the building pressure in his throat. âYes. So long as youâll have me, I want to be â I am Dan Heng.â He feels you shift beside him and this time, he turns to find you looking back at him with a scrutinizing stare. Eerily reminiscent of the way you had regarded the statue earlier. Nose scrunched and eyes slightly narrow. Heâd find it cute under any other circumstance. âHmmâŚâ Your spine straightens for a better vantage point, slipping your hand from his to poke at his cheek and tug gently at the sleeves of his clothing. âMay IâŚ?â you ask, perhaps too politely to Dan Hengâs anxious mind, but he nods all the same and you take his permission to raise yourself higher on the bed and gently settle yourself in his lap. Your legs straddle his on either side like you would any day before this one, and you let yourself look at him â really look at him â for the first time in this new form. Your familiar weight on his thighs is already doing wonders in quelling his nerves a bit. Heâs thankful for the firm pressure there to ground him, and without thinking, heâs moved to rest his hands on your waist as he usually would.
Dan Heng holds his breath under your scrutiny. He allows you to explore his more draconic form as you wish, using all his self-restraint to remain still as delicate fingers glide across his features. Thereâs a visible bob of his throat as digits rise from his neck and follow the curve of his jaw, brushing faintly across his lower lip before moving to press warm palms against his cheek. He wants more than anything to lean into your touch right now, nerves begging to feel more than just the trace of your touch against his lips after being apart for so long. But heâs frozen in place, more fearful that any sudden movements would scare you away. Youâve already been distant from him for far too long both physically and emotionally, and he doesnât think he can stand you being so far for much longer.
You trace along the red marks lining his eyes, two now instead of the one mark you were used to. Your eyes catch his for a moment, finding piercing teal orbs staring back at you with an inherent intensity. Even unintentionally, his gaze demands your attention, longing and uncertainty swirling behind widened pupils. He was taking you in just as much as you were him, it would seem. So, your fingers continue their journey. Across his features, trailing up from his neck, along his jaw, and past his cheek until ghost-like fingertips reach the auricle of his ear. The quiet breath he sucks in is adorable, even more so the brief flash of teal in your peripheral signifying the movement of his tail. Soft fingers curl around the pointed tip of his ear to massage the cartilage gently between a thumb and forefinger, taking note of how his body stiffens a fraction. However, itâs only when he feels your touch travel upward to trail soft pads along his horns that he fails to hold back a small, shuddering gasp.
âSensitiveâŚ?â you ask as if it were nothing at all and thereâs a slight hesitance in the shake of Dan Hengâs head, red beginning to visibly dust his cheeks. âJust⌠unexpected,â he settles on. He couldnât figure out what you were thinking. Were you aware of what your touch was doing to him? Did you approve of all these differences in his appearance you were exploring so thoroughly? Or did you find it strange? Distasteful? Briefly, he finds himself regretting not reverting back to his more familiar form the moment they had left Scalegorge. He hadnât needed to call upon the powers of the Imbibitor Lunae once Phantylia was dealt with, but every time he had glanced your way in this form, you had been looking elsewhere.
âStill mad at me for leaving without a goodbye kiss?â Your voice pulls him back to the present, but it takes Dan Heng a moment to register your words. âW-what?â He blinks owlishly at you, half confused and half dumbfounded by the question. You smile impishly, arms coming to rest around his shoulders. âYou always get grumpy when I leave without a kiss. So⌠are you?â The man frowns. You were teasing him. Dan Heng wants to get in your good graces. But⌠he couldnât lie to you. On top of worrying about your wellbeing in the entirety of the week youâve been apart, heâs also grown accustomed to spending his nights with you. Warm in the archives or out on a mission. He can understand a few days away, but to be without you for a week was⌠âIâm not mad, I just-âŚâ His eyes flicker off to the ground beside you, hesitating as he finds his footing in his words. âI missed you.â Had he inherited the floppy ears of the Permanence along with those horns, you imagine theyâd be sunken flat against the sides of his head with how saddened he looked in this moment. But then you giggle, and he suddenly perks right up in surprise.
âThen youâre still my Dan Heng,â you hum softly and the relief that immediately floods the vidyadhara has him melting into your arms. The chime of another laugh from you makes him question if you had done all of this simply to tease him, wound up as he was. Heâd think it cruel but, in the moment, heâs wanted nothing more than to hear those words. âYes,â he breathes, unthinkingly. Arms wrap tighter around your waist, wanting you closer, and Dan Heng finally gives in to his desires. His head tilts forward, closing what little distance was left to capture you in a kiss. Your lips were so soft, so perfect against his. Warm and gentle, the sensation all the sweeter having been without you for so long. Too long. You reciprocate with ease, a thumb stroking his cheek soothingly while your other hand slides down to rest at the side of his neck and heâs on cloud nine, sacrificing a hand of his own from your waist to reach for the back of your head and pull you closer.
âYours.â

golden child , lion boy , tell me what it's like to conquer / / jing yuan . . .
as his wife, you have the right to dream of other possibilities, right?
warnings: married!jing yuan and reader, f!reader, use of pet names (love), no y/n, spoilers for the luofu storyline, jealousy, suggestive themes, lowercase intended
w/c: 635 words
a/n: double upload!?!?! cant help it i love this man so much lord help me, art cred: mugenoumi on twt
"you seem to be enjoying your time with those finches."
soft clicks of shoes stepping on the wooden floor reach the general's ears, and as well as the birds he was currently devoting his attention to. jing yuan knew better than to frustrate his wife, however he can't won't seem stop making that pout appear.
"and you know better than to be jealous of some innocent birds, love." the resonant voice of his leaves faint echoes in the chamber. he hums happily as your hands snake around his waist, your face buried in his back. "not m' fault- i missed you," your muffled voice tickles his back, earning you a chuckle.
he gently releases the birds, much to your pleasure. "there. they're gone now, but you ought to open your heart to them. they're excellent companions."
"better companions than me?" you prod with an eyebrow raised. he turns around to face you, and now you can finally see your husband's infuriatingly handsome portrait once more. hundreds of years have passed since your union with jing yuan, and yet he still leaves you breathless each time.
long locks of golden white hair frame his head, stray strands everywhere. it's a common sight for your eyes these days, the ten-lords commission giving your husband more work to do these days, especially after the incident with phantilya. noticing your internal worry, he cradles you in his arms.
"now, now. would i have stuck with you for this long if i'd found better a companion? you think too much, love."
"and you think too little." you buried your face yet again in the crook of his neck. it was times like these when you wished you and your husband were not such important figures to the xianzhou, daydreams of you and jing yuan living a simple life away from here plague your mind almost every day.
"some people think me a fool, reduced down from a feared general to a lazy idiot who can't seem to pick up a pen for the life of him."
"and what do you say to that?"
he grins down at you, the outer corners of his eyes wrinkling with his breathy laugh. "i agree with them. however, there's one thing they do have wrong."
this piques your interest, lifting your head up to make eye contact with him. you tilt your head to the side, encouraging him to continue. "well?"
with sudden enthusiasm, he picks you up and spins you around, your back now hitting the cool concrete of some wall in the room. however, you don't have time to think about what had just happened, as he stole your lips and your breath in that same second.
his lips moved against yours with passion, arms coiling around you in a tight grip. kisses with jing yuan were usually slow and sensual, nothing like the show he's putting on for you right now. you swear you could feel your lips go numb, both of you breathing into each other like you'd never breathe again.
he finally pulls away, a thin strand of saliva connecting you both still. he sighs deeply with a smile on his face. "i've already conquered a feat very few people have before. your love and loyalty to me."
you giggle at the mushy confession. general or not, he'd still be your loving husband. "you can never not have the last word, can you?"
"no ma'am." and he pulls you in again, this time going back to his usual kisses. slow, sensual, and sultry.
a few moments later, something soft and bushy made contact with your leg. your husband's hair was certainly not that long, and you know for a fact you don't have a carpet this fluffy in this room...
"jing, i think mimi wants your attention as well."

There was a time when things felt easier, when the sun seemed to shine brighter despite the overwhelming shadow that was always cast on your family. You used to love the deep smell of green tea that enveloped the parlour each time the two of you took residence in it, and the wind that would swirl it around the whole of the office all while you laughed without a single care at the way it tugged your translucent shawl and hair.Â
Jing Yuan adored that sound more than anything, it filled his heart with the warmest of contents yet the cruelest of longings. He would sip quietly on the tea youâd brewed for him and pretend to enjoy the frivolous moment with his eyes closed, but you both knew that when you looked away, another story would be told completely.Â
Perhaps in reality, the sun never shined brighter than it seemed to and it was never easier to stomach. You were just too naive, too young to notice the thin cords bringing you and your father closer, and too ignorant to see the way they were slowly beginning to rip under the pressure.Â
To the public eye, your father loved you more than anything in the world, that was no news to anyone atop the Xianzhou Luofu. Youâve always worn the most expensive silks to have ever been created, with the richest of accessories and jewels. Whenever a new Hanfu dress would reach your hands, he would parade you on the busiest streets himself, making sure everyone and their mothers would talk about it by noon the next day.Â
He made sure you always had the most able and knowledgeable professors at your call, and if you ever needed anything, all youâd have to do is ask to whomever was closest to you at the very moment, and it would be fulfilled within seconds. Sometimes you didnât know if the servants did it out of admiration for your father or obligation.
Jing Yuan made sure you never needed or wanted for more. Materially, that is.Â
And things were bound to change as you grew, especially as he cruelly presented you to the scrutiny of high society.Â
You quickly grew to understand that it was his way of apologising, like a crow that would chip away at your skin then bring you trinkets of appreciation. When you sat and listened to some woman criticise that your dress was too frivolous for the event, too out of fashion for society and that none of your jewels matched, he did not do much but smile and pat your shoulder.Â
âLittle [Y/n] will learn from your kind advice.â He assured her, but you barely held in a snort of frustration. When the other women joined in, when they begun pulling at your hair to adjust it, when they hit your hands with their fans as you purred tea for not angling your elbows right, when they shamed you as the hall hollered with laughter, he watched and smiled, so you took a deep breath and smiled back to everyone around you too.
Later that very evening he found you with tears running on your cheeks, a box of red and gold velvet in his hands. Your father did not speak, nor did he show much emotion on his face and it angered you. You wished to yell, to protest for the fact that he had not jumped to your defence, but as you opened the box, all protests died on your lips and the tears stilled, hands shaking at the most beautiful jade hair pin youâve ever seen.
But his gifts stopped making up for his emotional absence around the third time it happened.Â
And you knew they all watched you like a hawk. Every move youâd make before the higher ups would be analysed on a scale of âgood enoughâ or âweakâ by none other than your fatherâs so called friends, while every single gesture before the public was like pulling needles off your skin. Yesterday you wore your Hanfu scandalously low on your cleavage, today you didnât say thank you when the guard accompanying you opened up your parasol, tomorrow you wonât hold your tea cup quite right and so on.Â
Usually it was easy to ignore.
But that was before the daughters of the noblest of houses would begin to alienate you for shallow reasons, and before the sons of each commissioner would size you up as nothing but easy stock to win over, an easy marriage in the pocket, or so they thought.Â
It was easy for them to have the audacity to criticise you to your face or try to win you over, after all, you were nothing but a spoiled brat whoâs never heard no for as long as sheâs lived. Surely, youâve never faced a single hardship, so the public felt righteous enough to scold you into it while for those within you were noting but a charity case.Â
So you tried to learn all you could, so youâd never feel as less in front of others ever again. Since the very evening of your debut, you insisted on having a book under your arm, a needle in your hand, a sword at your hip, or a qin in your lap while tea cups simmered on a table. It felt easier to overlook the loneliness when you did. You found that after a certain age, it felt comforting even to worry about making it in time to granny Huaâs qin lessons while leaving the swordplay hall behind, rather than sit pretty in a room and wait all day for your father to finish his duties as a general. There was no more room at social events for rude interventions, and no more room in your mid for uncomfortable questions to ask while doing so, really. Â
But you couldnât avoid them for an eternity, that was for sure. And neither could Jing Yuan, for even in tranquil moments when peace had the taste of green tea and the smell of fresh air after rain, your twinkling eyes were still a carbon copy of how hers were.Â
In the better of these days, your father would pretend to laugh at a joke you made, while you pretended to be satisfied with his reaction. Youâd move a piece on the xiangqi board with elegant hands and chatted about the latest passage you read in a philosophy book, and he hummed in agreement while placing his own piece down. A cleverly crafted strategy to his own defeat, one that you felt content with following despite the fragile shame that came with it.Â
It was a play you both excelled at most, after all.
At the worst of it all, you canât understand his harsh voice as he yells âThat is enough, [Y/n]!â while slamming his tea cup on the table. The whole room would shake at his warning, but your hunger for answers was much stronger than any fear, so you really canât understand his fury when you yell back âFather! It is not!â He look at you with sorrow in his heart and his eyes were twisted by a pain youâd never understand, as he could only see her in you.Â
âI will not have this conversation with you!â Heâd warn again, but you took it as an invitation to push even further. âI donât know the first thing about my mother, Jing Yuan! Her name? Never heard of it. Her face? Never seen it. Do you not think it is cruel, father?â Hot tears streamed on your perfect porcelain cheeks, smearing the red eyeliner you had painted on. âNo one ever speaks about her to me, everyone refuses to. But they all look at me like Iâm some kind ofâŚâ Your voice trailed off with hard puffs and sobs. âLike Iâm some kind ofâŚâÂ
His own chest puffed and the sight of you felt like a stab to his heart. You couldnât get your words out, you didnât need to really. People constantly looked at you in one of two ways, no matter how perfectly youâve learned to craft your smiles, or how good your tea brewing had became, you were either a charity case theyâd pity, or a spoiled brat that knew none of what the real world would offer.
But despite all of his anger, he was still your father, and as much as he loved to punish himself trough you, he still held back the need of snapping the heads off all of their shoulders. He would reach for the back of your neck with his hand, bringing you into his chest in a half hug. âYou are enough. Never forget that.â Heâd kiss the crown of your head and inhale the floral smell of your hair. It grounded him, even as you screamed into his chest and pushed him away, his grip stayed firm until youâd shed your last tear and you cried your last sob.Â
Because despite of how much you hated to admit it, you were living and breathing for his approval, which you seemed to never ever gain.
Unbeknownst to you, everything about you was just like her. Your face, your hair, even the way you wore your Hanfu a little out of place with the shawl falling all over the floor when you walked, or your mannerism as you spoke with a tiny accent on your tongue, it was all her and nothing of his except the mole under your left eye. Youâve never met her, he tried to reason. Youâve never seen her or heard of her deeds. Your mother has been an enigma to you ever since you could remember things, and yet the world punished him with her perfect copy in you when he tried to push her memory away the most.Â
It felt bittersweet. To the outside eye, general Jing Yuan adored his daughter more than anything else in the world. But underneath the jewellery, there were unaddressed feelings, each pearl you wore for people on the Central Starskiff Heaven to see was a tear unshed, each new dress was a silent apology theyâd never hear, each loving promenade youâd have with your father was there to hide for the public a question you asked when the cord was too tensed. One of these days it would snap in half, you were sure of it.Â
So who could blame you when it all overflowed? When you could no longer smile in the face of those who envied you and when your fatherâs emotional absence felt like a hallow painting of what should have really been? When the dresses and the jewels werenât smothering the pain any longer?
You felt it daily, building up, pressing down, tugging at your smiles until they became frowns and empty stares, and your ever growing depression was evident for anyone that roamed the gardens outside your window at night, as your qin carried into the world the saddest tune your heart feared to voice. And this time, not even a Hanfu made out of golden thread would ease your pain.Â
âSo, say you, general,âÂ
Your father hummed back to the woman before him as he placed his piece down on the board. Another noble nodded in agreement with his choice behind him. You saw them all from where you were sitting, fingers strumming the qin in a delicate tune for the whole room to enjoy, while gin purred from flasks and laughter echoed somewhere in the back. It wasnât like you to agree partaking in parties like these, but how could you turn Jing Yuan down when he asked you to serenade him at the event?
âI would say youâd want to keep your daughter closest to you, am I not right?â The wicked tone in the nobleâs voice made you shiver underneath the silver shawl that draped off your shoulders. âQuite so I fear, why is that?âÂ
âWell, I hoped to reach you when I first heard the news, but I was quite busy, yous see?â The woman, an esteemed elder of the Artisanship Commission, hid her face behind what was possibly the most obnoxious fan youâve ever seen, and your fingers became stiff on the metal strings of your trusted instrument. âPardon me?â The general stilled his movements on the xiangqi pieces while the chattering went quiet. Nothing but your trembling notes filled the air.
âYou know, I wished to give you my deepest condolences the moment I heard. For your daughterâs⌠unfortunate situation, that is.â Confused, Jing Yuan tilts his head to where you stood, only to be met with the same questions on your face that you desperately tried to drown as you played your melody. He chuckled awkwardly, then, and returned his attention on the game. âI fear I donât know what youâre going on about, maâam.â
âAh⌠You know, the fact that your daughter is unable to bear children has quite saddened us all. I was looking forward to sending my son as a potential suitor!âÂ
If eyes could kill, you would be sure that the place where the woman stood would have become scorched dust. An involuntary scoff left your lips loud enough to draw attention, but you pretended to be engrossed with tuning your qin before beginning to play another piece for the hall.Â
âAnd where have you heard such news, I wonder?â But she held no fear in her eyes.Â
âWell, for one, everyone in high society talks about it! You see, your daughter is already past the age of accepting suitors yet has never even been seen with a man, so people assume. That being said I personally was told so by a doctor that works under you, your grace.âÂ
âLiesâ, you told yourself, but it was not enough to cool the blush you had on your cheeks from embarrassment, no matter how much you have been shamed by the public eye, nothing could compare to this very moment now.Â
âIs that so,â Your father trailed off, then placed his piece on the xiangqi board. âWell, from what I know, your son is welcome to send in his suitor application, for my daughter is more than healthy and cared for. In fact, now that I think about it,â But you didnât wish to hear any more.Â
With a sudden move, you jumped from your seat to your feet and rushed to gather the qin underneath its silk cloth. The commotion drew attention to you, and so murmurs begun filling your ears which only fed your ever growing shame. âPlease excuse me.â You voiced as you bowed deeply to the room of lords and nobles, then picked up your instrument and hurried to the exit with a strained âPlease enjoy the rest of your evening.âÂ
And you hoped that would be the last youâve heard of it all, but as fate wanted it, that was far from how things would play.Â
âFather! This is ridiculous!â You protested. For all reason and purposes, it really was.Â
Not even a full day after what happened, he invited you to serve tea with him in the parlour. You found it odd, as he never requested your presence on Tuesday afternoons, but did not complain as you stepped into the room with haste.Â
He took his time finding the courage to face you, and when he understood he would not be able to deliver the news to you with a straight face, he pushed a stack of paper to you without even meeting your eyes. There, in red ink, was your fate sealed by a simple signature. An agreement that had been made without your knowledge or permission, and a wound that would become the reason for the demise of cord that held your family together.
Marriage certificate.Â
No one knows what was truly discussed that night in the evening, but what was known was that youâve fled with tears in your eyes and anger on your face. And for better or for worse, that would become the last time anyone on the Xianzhou Luofu had seen you under the identity of the generalâs daughter, for you found no more room in your heart for the pain that followed with it.
âYou know, when you put it like that, I do think that green works best with coral!â March eagerly nodded her head, while Dan Heng took his time analysing Himekoâs theory. You and welt only listened to the conversation with one ear, while the other was being filled with questions over questions from Stelle.Â
âI donât believe thatâs a wise move.â You chirped as Welt placed the piece down, and you followed with a quick movement that gained you his general. He groaned and pushed his glasses up away while massaging the bridge of his nose. Stelle wowed and wood at your victory, and March leaned from her seat across the expressâ parlour with a âreally?â look in her eyes.Â
âYou lost again, M. Yang?âÂ
âI swear Iâm good at this game.â And you chuckled while placing the pieces back into their pouch. âUsed is a keyword.â March continued to tease while everyone watched your movements, which, weirdly, felt more calming than before your time on the express. In truth, it was because they never snickered underneath their palms and never cherry picked your posture until youâd get it wrong.Â
That being said, you could only care for one personâs eyes alone, and his stare felt like electricity on the back of your neck.Â
âHow did you learn to play like this, anyways? Youâre like a mad genius at these.â Stelle intervened, and you couldnât help but shiver as your fatherâs knowing eyes came into your mind. âAhâŚâ was all that escaped your lips, before you cured your pained expression in a calm and lovely smile. âMy father taught me how to play. He always made it so I would win, though. Therefore, for the longest time I believed I was quite bad at it too.âÂ
Your voice felt like crystal in the quiet room, so quiet and soft to the ear that it was more akin to a melody than a spoken sentence. You never truly talked about your home, never about your family of your past, which is exactly why your friends turned to you with a cocktail of shocked expressions. Despite how polite and proper you always were, whenever someone asked about it, you would have the coldest glare thrown their way, sure, involuntarily, but scary nonetheless, and with time the crew learned to not ask about a past you so much wished to hide.
Despite that, they never judged you for any of it, not even when your friendship has been tried over and over by your cold heart. You were never outright rude per se, but distant hit the nail in the head best. When Himeko would extend an invitation to a âcoffee partyâ for the crew as an example, you refused with a polite smile that felt ripped out of etiquette teaching picture books, saying you prefer tea instead.Â
She feared youâd be left out, you feared being the centre of attention.Â
âI believe Iâll head in for the day.â You spoke after finishing to arrange the xiangqi pieces on the board. March left out an âOhâŚâ and you could hear the sad face in her voice. Amongst the others, she was the saddest when you chose to sit the Xianzhou Luofu out, as ever since your addition to the crew, you never turned down an adventure. You explained that your bones hurt from the cold of Jarilo-VI and that you needed a rest, and with Stelle at their side, you were sure they would have no problems getting trough this one trail-blazing adventure. Sure, it was a bit of a shock for Himeko and Welt, but to March? It was a tragedy. Her new bestie leaving her behind? She swore the world would end.
âPlease, have a safe journey and a swift return.âÂ
You nodded your head their way before picking up the xiangqi game and reaching for the door. Your fingers grazed the digital pad just in time to hear Dan Hengâs voice behind you. âI will do the same, didnât quite finish storing the data bank after Jarilo-VI.âÂ
And so you ended up side by side, walking trough the corridors of the Express. However, as you stepped past his make-shift room, you found his steps synced with yours still and, confused, you turned to face him and painted one of your signature smiles. Fake but pretty all the same.Â
âCan I help you, Dan Heng?â
It was exactly that cold yet perfect, more-like-a-painting-than-an-actual-human attitude that made Dan Heng distrust you from the moment you stepped on the Express. You left everything to speculation in a way in which even your clothes were a mass of black and colourless, without any culture behind or any story at all to tell. Always in a bland attire with no accessories at all. March made fun of you for being so tasteless, but he saw past the appearance. He saw past the way you acted and into the way you wilded your swords like cranes flying in the wind, the way you prepared and steeped tea, and the way you handled xiangqi and go pieces like a native only could.
He peered into your eyes in a way that made you unravel before him without a single word, and he knew it was to hide a side of you that youâve hidden deeply to the rest. But not quite to him.
And while he was trying to get over a sense of danger in you, fed by your secrecy, you found peace in his presence. Unbeknownst to him, he was the one thing that reminded you of home and the good in it despite it all. If your memories were filled with torment and loneliness, he was the smell of freshly baked red bean sticky rice cakes in the market, or the sound of wind chimes in the summer rain. He was all of the little things you wanted to push away but found comfort in, and you didnât know if you loved it or hated him for it.
âYes, actually.â He nodded. âI find I canât sleep as of late and I wanted to try one of your calming brews.â You frowned at his words but gave in without asking much, which he greatly appreciated. âVery well, please join me for some tea tonight, then.â And silence settled between you two as you lead him to your cabin with unease rolling off your shoulders.Â
Your room was much like your clothes. Simple and colourless besides the coffer next to your bed, which was unmistakably made with the mastery of a Xianzhou artisanship. But if he noticed it, he didnât speak on it at all, nor about the low table in the middle of the room that was in the same style, or⌠well really about anything. You appreciated that most. Even when you settled on the table a traditional set of cups, a clear tea spreading the most enchanting and calming aroma from them, he did not speak a single word.
As he drank, his eyes rested on your covered qin that sat atop your bed, and he did not need to speak for you to understand his intentions. You sat down quietly on the covers, revealing the simple instrument like a truth youâd usually hide from. And he couldnât help but watch you with sadness in his heart as you tuned the strings with shaky hands âtill crystal clear notes echoed trough the room.Â
You took a heavy inhale and looked upon the dark ebony wood as if greeting an old friend before propping it on your lap, but couldnât handle to meet Dan Hengâs eyes. At least not when he stared at you as if he knew every single secret you feared to tell.Â
As you raised your hands in the air, getting ready to pull at the string, his own palm engulfed your exposed skin in an unspoken plea, and you couldnât help but give into his warmth. He pulled gently until your face was buried into his shoulder and his other arm was in your hair, and you didnât even notice it when silent tears begun to stain the fabric of his coat. He didnât protest nor ever addressed it, and you preferred the feeling of his body against yours to the coldness of his eyes on a normal day.Â
As such, you spent the evening together afterwords. Him silently sipping on the calming tea as the sorrowful yet comforting sound of the qin filled your bedroom, until there were no more tears to shed and the pot on the table had gone cold.Â
No one wanted to admit it, but it had to be said. Something changed between you and Dan Heng from then on and the first one to notice it was none other than March.Â
They were getting ready to leave the express when she stated it for the whole crew to hear.Â
âIs it me or are the two of you like, in love or something now?â She arched one of her eyebrows while her lips rested in a scowl. Now, donât get her wrong she was more than happy for you two if it was the case, but what she could not stand for was the two of you ditching the adventure to enjoy a date over tea and qin music again.Â
âMarch, what kind of nonsense are you onto again?â You huffed with cherry red ears, while Dan Heng choked on the water he was previously drinking. All she could do was wave her hand while saying âyeah yeah,â over and over with a bored face before they set out on their way, but not before Welt pinned the two of you down with a knowing look.
The express stilled with their absence, reinforced by Pom-Pom who claimed to have some cleaning to do somewhere in the Express and Himeko who had some paperwork to finish. The parlour felt almost empty, despite Dan Hengâs presence right next to you. He still held his fist over his mouth as if preparing to cough, cheeks dusted pink and eyes on the starry sky before you, but he didnât say a word about what happened. And something in you told you to follow his lead.Â
You ate quietly at the sticky rice cake you tried your hand baking, and although the taste was very different from what you remembered, it was still as good as ever. With a tissue all crumpled up in your hand, you resulted to watching the sky along side your new friend, eyeing the stars one by one as they passed by. Yet you found your eyes sliding lower and lower from the window to the man before you, who you found already watching you with wide eyes. As if caught in headlights, he stammered out an incoherent string of words but did not move his gaze, not even as his body leaned to yours until his hand grazed your chin.Â
You shuddered at his icy touch, but did not dare to move, not even as his fingertips reached for your lips. He gently wiped your lips then brought his thumb to his own mouth, licking off the excess red bean cream from the cake, and you were absolutely sure your face would explode from how hot it get in that very moment. âYou had a bit,â He started, but his mouth closed shut when he noticed the dazed stare in your eyes. âOh aeons, I didnât make you uncomfortable, did I?â His voice shook and his own ears turned scarlet red, only now realising what he has done. You shook your head, head turning so you could focus on the floor as if the tiles below your feet were now the best sight you have ever seen. âAh, not at all! I was just surprised, âtis all.â Your sweaty palm gripped the tissue tighter. âWould you like some?â And Dan Heng looked at the half eaten cake you extended to him with an expression youâve ever seen him give March or Stelle. He stared at the cake in his hands with a wholehearted fondness. âYeah.â Was all he could manage to whisper back.
And somewhere in the back, you swore you heard Himeko giggle to herself.Â
The same evening, you would hear three soft knocks on your door in the dead of night. There, in the hallway, with a sweat filled forehead and uneasy complexion, stood Dan Heng, and you would be a fool not to extend a hand to him when he begged for help with his tired eyes.Â
âQuit hiding!â The criminalâs voice rang trough your head like a broken mantra. âYour true form⌠reveal it!â Dan Heng did his best to dodge the maniac attacks, all while you and Yanqing stood in an awkward stalemate in the middle of the platform.
Your blade screeched against Yanqingâs, but it was like fighting fire with fire, simply useless. No matter how lowkey youâve been upon reaching the Xianzhou, he needed one singular look to know exactly who you were, even underneath the mask that covered the lower half of your face.
âYou, little..â You trailed off with effort. Despite his usual sense of justice, that youâve always commanded, his attacks felt awfully biased as he strikes your blade repeatedly with his icy ones. His technique felt as familiar as home did, her teaching seeping in his bones trough and trough, but so did your fatherâs into yours, which youâve had much more time to perfect than the little lapdog did.Â
âMove, you idiot!â And with one harsh push of your blade, the young boy was off his feet, giving you enough time to reach Blade before he could get any damage done on Dan Heng. You yelled with each strike you struggled to par, until his crazy red eyes widened in glee and his sword flew from his hands and right by your chin. The sound of your friendâs cry in agony and the blade tearing trough skin and bone made you pause, and horror struck you as you refused to turn around and to even acknowledge what had happened. âYou!â Was all you could let out, sword still pointed straight to Bladeâs neck.
âI have news for you.â He laughed, and you took a step back. You would lie if you said your insides didnât churn with fear, even as he was left completely disarmed before you.
âBehind you⌠Is none other,â The sound of water engulfed your ears as your head snapped back. âThan the traitor of the Xianzhou. A criminal, forever banished!â Your eyes widened as the barrier around Dan Heng rippled, leaving a water-made dragon to escape with rage all over its face. It roared and turned in the air, coiling until it fell right back to where it came from, and when light and wind filled the platform, you couldnât help but shield your form with your arms.Â
âThe High Elder of the Vidyadhara⌠Imbibitor Lunae.âÂ
The hold on your sword weakened. You shuddered as the man you grew so attached to revealed himself before you in a form youâve recognised from your fatherâs tales. Long silky hair and cold green eyes, horns and tail and lotus flowers and everything that made the Vidyadhara so revered. You could hardly believe your eyes. With a weak step forward, you pulled at the mask to reveal your strained expression, sword falling to your side numbly.Â
âYou really believed that the Stellaron Hunters were the only ones to infiltrate the Xianzhou?âÂ
Cold air begun pulling at your hair, and you shook off your stupor when Yanqing begun summoning his ice swords. Your body acted before your mind did at the new threat and your sword was back up within seconds, posture ready for a clash.Â
âA wanted criminal, a banished person and a deserter. In this case, I will bring all three of you to justice!âÂ
The fight ended before it could even begin properly. Yanqing was strong, but Jingliuâs teaching could only get him so far against the three of you. Blade begun striking without mercy, taunting you and Dan Heng for holding back. âWhatâs wrong, your grace? Scared to harm the boy?â The criminal laughed as you sent only one out of the spirit swords you summoned towards Yanqing. Flashes of electricity begun shining trough your hair with anger, but you couldnât bring yourself to do more. Not even when Dan Heng delivered the final strike with a silent apology.Â
Yanqingâs knees begun to buckle just as Kafka yelled âAll of you, listen to me - stop!âÂ
You couldnât help but stumble back, swords falling out of existence as Dan Hengâs feet stepped back on the floor and Bladeâs weapon vanished before your eyes. âWell, Bladie? Are you satisfied?â She mused and he only hummed in response.Â
ââŚWhat did you do?â Dan Heng called after a moment of silence. âJust clearing the stage for the grand entrance. Canât have the four of you misbehaving in front of the Luofuâs hotshot general.â Your shoulders stiffened as a familiar laughter filled the platform. All heads turned towards the sight, yet you stayed rooted on your feet, back turned and head shaking in denial. âNo, not like this.â You whispered.Â
âJing Yuan,â Blade huffed. âGeneral!â Yanqing followed.Â
The man stared at the sighed before him with a knowing smile just as you got the courage to turn and face him. If he felt anything upon the sight of you, he did not show it. âMany years have passed since the three of you have departed the Xianzhou, and yet the circumstances of your return appear to be equally unhappy. If you still thought of me as a friend,â His eyes went straight to yours, unspoken words weighting you down as you found it harder and harder to breathe. âAs familyâ was what he wished to say, yet he held back. âYou shouldâve forewarned me.âÂ
âMy task is complete.â Was all the blade said. âMhm. That it is.â Your father laughed in return. âThank you for assisting the Xianzhou in this small matter. Take this person away, I will pretend I didnât see anything this time.â He stated harshly despite Yanqingâs protest. Jing Yuan then stared at Dan Heng as the two Stellaron Hunters made their way to the boat at the edge of the platform. âIt has been a long time, old friend.â But your friend answered harshly. âIâm not him.âÂ
âMh. Iâm sorry. You cannot leave yet, however. Your astral express friends are still waiting for you in Scalegorge Waterscape. Shall we go and see them together? And youâŚďż˝ďż˝ The moment you have been trying to prepare yourself for most had arrived, and your fatherâs smile died on his lips as his eyes analysed your face.Â
âI missed you terribly, my sweet flower.â Dan Heng stiffened next to you, but his hand fingertips grazed yours in protectiveness, to which you could only respond by accepting his palm into yours. The familiar nickname brought tears into your eyes, and despite the coldness of his face, your fatherâs voice felt like a familiar little tune you new by heart. Like a warm hug when you needed it most. How you wished you couldâve just forgotten it all and jumped into his chest, just like how you did when you were nothing but a sprout on two legs.Â
âThat being said, we will continue this conversation later. Iâm afraid your friends might be in trouble, you see.â
You didnât know how time had passed so fast, more like a blur than anything, truthfully. Your eyes were opened wide on the platform between the Xianzhou and Scalegorge Waterscape, blade in hand and senses aware as you parred each of the attacks your way. Then you blinked, and when you reopened them, a familiar sight greeted you.Â
Three cups of steaming green tea on a low rise table, a board of xiangqi and pieces of go scattered all over the table. A sacred silence engulfed the room, besides the occasional sound of the chess pieces falling into place, and none of you could bring yourselves to shatter it just yet.Â
Dan Heng watched you play with patience while occasionally bringing the cup to his lips, now back into the form you grew so familiar with. You hated to admit it, but his presence comforted you. It gave you the strength to hold yourself together in a situation in which you would have certainly shattered if alone, and your fatherâs keen eye did not glass over that fact.Â
You sighed peacefully when your chariot was finally occupied in the middle of the palace, on your fatherâs side, in a perfect centroid checkmate. The man before you leaned back and sighed, a puzzled expression on his face. âYou just had to go and get better than me at this game, did you not?â But you didnât answer. You still didnât know what to say, really. Were you feeling guilty for deserting your spot as a cloud knight? For leaving your father behind? Or for bailing on your responsibilities as his daughter? Well, no not quite, so apologising for it feltâŚstrained and forced. But one thing felt real as your eyes met his and Dan Hengâs hand reached for yours across the table. You missed him terribly just as much.Â
âEvery single day that passes shapes you more and more like her.â He added. âI wish you couldâve been by my side for them all.âÂ
âJing YuanâŚâ You whispered back, but he didnât let you finish. âIf your mother was here with us today, I assure you, my sweet flower, that things would have been so different.â For a moment, you could hear nothing but your heart beating against your chest.
âYou are just like her. And I truly mean it. Your face, your personality, darn it all even the way you speak. And, as your father, I wish I couldâve offered you a better life.âÂ
âYou did all you could.â Funny how even now, you were the one to reach with a warm heart, how you were the one to comfort and forgive, even when his heart couldnât yield.Â
âNot quite. I was foolish and believed that a firm hand would prepare you for the cruelty of the world. I failed to see, no. I failed to change when I saw that it was harming you more than anything.â You let out a sigh youâve held in for a very long time and closed your eyes, a last attempt at holding in the tears you wished so disparately to shed.Â
âI love you, father. Nothing will ever change that. However,â Despite how your hand shook in Dan Hengâs, your voice stood firm, and as you opened your eyes, both men shivered at their determination. âAn apology, no matter how needed, will never make up for what has been. If this is your way of asking me to stay, I fear Iâve made my choice.âÂ
But his ever knowing smile was back on his lips, and his laughter caught you off guard. Your fingers tightened on Dan Hengâs fingertips, who had stayed quiet as you and your father voiced what both of you ever feared to before.Â
âYou see, that was not my intention. That being said, if you ever did wish to return, there will always be room for you into my arms, my darling flower.â And you only nodded back, lips slightly parted in surprise.Â
âWe should head out.â Dan Heng whispered to you after the tea had been finished and the conversation ended. He tapped the skin of your palm with gentle fingers, a quiet way of asking for your attention. His eyes were stricken with tiredness, and you doubted that yours were any better, excusing the puffiness brought by your tears.Â
âAh yes, I forgot!â The general mused. âThere is no need to return to that hotel for the night. I asked for your room to be prepared, for you and your lover here. So you could rest comfortably before leaving.â The moment could be best described by a broken record being pulled abruptly from its recorder and screeching in your head. You eyed Dan Heng who refused to meet your gaze and whoâs ears became scarlet red once more. âFather!â You protested. âHe- Heâs not-â
âSave it, [Y/n]. At least invite me if you do ever get married.âÂ
âDad!â Shame engulfed you as you pushed Dan Heng out of the room all while the sound of Jing Yuanâs laughter taunted you from behind the doors of the seat of Devine Foresight. You couldnât help but whisper muffled apologies into your hand that tried to shield your burning face from anyone that would watch, which in truth was as effective as searching for a needle in a haystack.Â
What you didnât expect was for Dan Hengâs hand to find yours and move it away, revealing cherry red cheeks that matched his own. He cleared his voice before leaning in just enough for his breath to fan over your ear as your back met the closed doors behind you. âI would not mind if I was.â He whispered before his velvet soft lips rested against the exposed skin of the back of your palm. You were sure your knees wouldâve given in if it wasnât for his arm that hooked around your waist, bringing you so close to him you shuddered.Â
âI really would not mind it.âÂ
Later that evening, as his teeth grazed your exposed skin before kissing it with sweet words of praise, as your hands intertwined and your bodies became one under the silk sheets of your bed, you could tell that your heart began singing a familiar tune. With each kiss from Dan Hengâs, a new feeling invaded your senses. You were home. Here with him, in this very moment. You were home in his arms.Â
And you wouldnât changed it for anything else.Â
Yes, not even as March yells âI fucking knew it!â the next morning, for the whole of Xianzhou Luofu to hear, upon seeing your neck caked in love marks you had no means of hiding and your hand held tightly by Dan Heng, who only smiled back to everyone as you buried your face into his chest with shame.Â

hellooo please make when jing yuan, blade, welt, and luocha gets jealous when you're w another boy and they spot this. thank youuu
đđ˝đśđđśđ¸đđđđ: Jing Yuan, Blade, Welt, and Luocha x Gender-Neutral Reader
đŽđđđđ
đđžđ: getting jealous seeing their s/o talking to another man
đ˛đśđđđžđđđ: Fluff, Spelling mistakes
đĽđžđđ đ´đđśđ
There are two types of jealousy for Jing Yuan.
Itâs playful when he sees you with your "little friend." He doesnât say anything to you until you're both alone together and get pouty and mopy. "Iâm not enough for you (Name) that you had to go to another man?"
He says, almost sounding like itâs real, before wrapping his arms around you and hiding his face in your chest, pretending to be in tears, "Itâs not like that, Jing Yuan; weâre just friends!" You denied trying to peel him away from your chest to look at him.
Instead, you see him with a grin on his face.
The second being in a possessive way, like he canât keep his hands off of you; you are his lover and only his; who knows, this "little friend" of yours might have caught feelings for you since heâs spending so much time with you?
But he should know not to touch The General of The Xianzhou Luofu Lover.
đľđđśđšđ
You can tell. Well, sometimes he always has a poker face and doesnât say anything since he trusts you, but in the end, jealousy gets the better of any man.
You canât help noticing a blade glaring at your friend with Kafka beside him whispering in his ears, most likely to mess with him, saying that your friend might steal you away from him.
When you arrive home, only one thing to say is good luck, because Blade has his arms and rough hands going, caressing your figure, not letting you go, and kissing you all over your neck.
He wasnât going to let you go anytime soon.
đ˛đđđ đđśđđ
Heâs a calm man; not a lot of things bother him. He trusts you and your friend after all; you're the one who accepted his ring on your finger, but hearing you talk so much about your friend is nice; itâs good to be close with other people. He isn't stopping you by any means.
But Welt seems more clingy than usual; he just canât keep his hands off of you, but you pay no mind to it.
Until one night, he had his arms around you, your back against his chest, and he whispered in your ear. You couldnât even understand what he was saying since you were so flustered!
He can admit that heâs jealous. There's nothing wrong with jealousy; it's a human emotion. After all, heâll tell you why heâs jealous; itâs just that sometimes he wants your pretty self all to himself.
đżđđđ¸đ˝đś
Luocha is similar to Welt; he makes no big deal about it. If you say that you're nothing but friends, then that's that, but of course, things get lonely whenever you're not around since you talk quite a lot.
When you come back to the cabin you rented for the stay there, you just find Luocha on the bed sitting up right back against the headboard whilst reading a book, with of course his coffin in the closet (Since you sort of find it weird since he brings it everywhere with him).
You just sit beside him and put the book on the side table before he gives you a long kiss on the lips. His hands rub your back before going underneath your shirt and going up your back. Feeling his soft, smooth fingers always makes you shiver.
if you liked this, consider tipping me on ko-fi! it'd mean a lot!

yandere husband jing yuan and son yanqing drabble
pairings: (romantic) jing yuan x gn! reader | (platonic) yanqing and gn! reader
content warning: i just started the xianzhou luofu and this is based off stuff i seen regrading the characters. so anyways- forced marriage possessive jing yuan, fail escape attempts, yanqing being possessive like jing yuan (like father, like son)
you trusted that child, you really did. you trusted him when he found out that his general wasnât all he thought out to be. how could his general- his father do such a terrible thing by forcing you to marry him? yanqing simply thought you and jing yuan fell in love. well thatâs what he was always told. âoh, [name] and i simply fell in love ! so we decided to get married.â yeah right. he tricked you. jing yuan tricked you into being his spouse. you genuinely donât understand howâ âŚno you do. heâs the general after all. he has the power to do as such, and who would believe you? youâre just a tutor for yanqing, you had no power. so youâre extremely lucky, grateful that your student believes you.
but of course, it was all a lie. a bitter lie you believed.
yanqing only smiled as he grabbed ahold of your hand as you both ran. he has to protect his lovely tutor, a student such as himselfâ a powerful one should. after all heâs practically one of the best ones you had. he not only the best but the youngest member of the cloud knights, and can be considered above the rest. so of course he could easily protect you and himself during this escape. he came up with the idea of you running away, that he could take you to the port and you could get on the astral express ! theyâll welcome anyone to join them and knowing that they often go to different locations, itâll be so hard to track someone down. it sounds too good to be true, and ⌠it was.
there waiting for you was your beloathed husband. smiling.
âgood job, yanqing.â his voice startled you. itâs so deep, so alarming. âyour loyalty stands no end.â your heart sank upon hearing these words. yanqing tricked you. the child who you thought was doing this to help you was just following orders? or was this both their idea.
â[name] donât be upset. heâs so happy for us, just look at him. yanqing never had two parents, so why not give him what he wants?â it made you sick. after all that time⌠he was just toying with you. both of them were. jing yuan simply walked over to you and grabbed your hands. âletâs go back home. I donât want to scold you in front of our child.â jing yuanâs smile didnât each his eyes, neither did yanqingâs. their eyes read something different. you could no longer run.

blanket burrito || jing yuan
according to jing yuan and the xianzhou luofu, its citizens rarely got sick, the only sickness available to them being mara, which was a fate worse than death for those afflicted with it and for their families, who could be infected. however, even such long-living beings could be afflicted with something minor- the common cold.
and currently, the general of the xianzhou luofu was burrowing into his blanket, sniffling angrily as you tried not to laugh.
"stop laughing," jing yuan whined as you cleared your throat and sniffed, your phone in hand recording the gold-and-pearl-white-adorned general hiding in his quilts. "[name]!" you laugh loudly as you see a crown of messy white hair pop out from underneath the quilt, following by sneezing and some whining.
"aww, poor baby," you coo, and though you know how much he dislikes you cooing at him, he's silently more relieved to feel your touch, and he leans into your palm, nudging it like the stray cats on the luofu he'd occasionally sneak away to feed, and peppering kisses slowly until he tires, which is pretty quickly.
"you should rest," you start as you push him over onto his back and tuck him in gently, kissing his cheek. "c'mon, qin. nice and easy, there. it's just a cold, you'll be fine, i promise."
"i hate it," jing yuan mumbles tiredly as he yawns. "how do you even manage this?"
"rest, far, far away from any yukongs." you smile as he huffs with a grin, turning around to sleep. "sleep well, love."
when jing yuan wakes up, thirsty and sweaty and with a weird need to pee, he doesn't quite understand why he feels so trapped. the world around him is dark and warm, but comfortable, and as his eyes adjust to the scene around him, he realises what you have done to him, and he doesn't know whether to feel betrayed or comforted in the fact that you rolled him into a damn burrito.
"ah! the dozing general is awake!" you laugh as you help him out of the burrito, and all he can do is sigh with relief as you push his sweaty bangs out of his face as he remembered why exactly he woke up.
"i need to pee."
"AND YOU WERE JUST STANDING HERE THE WHOLE TIME??!!?!?"
idk why i wrote this. ldkghfjdk he is so daddy and baby and dilf at the same time ong i will post the most horrendous downbad smut of this man one day-
