sometimes I hate having an oc
I am too insecure to try and portray an actual character that exists, but having an oc I feel as though no one wants to interact with me.
I even am insecure about my fc choices and constantly think about changing them or creating new oc’s
im just venting, ignore me lol
:(

Faith looks around the cafe, with no one in sight other than a man sitting by himself. she was really looking forward to a cup of coffee, but it didn’t seem as though that was going to happen for her anytime soon, until the man by himself spoke.
“Oh..that makes sense.” Faith chuckles and looks down at her feet shyly before walking over to grab a seat with him. “You didn’t have to do that, but I do appreciate it.” she smiles and reaches over the table with an open hand. “I’m Faith.”
@faithxgrey | honk honk.
he’s pretty content to just sit & sip his coffee, and not bother with anything else that doesn’t involve that, but she looks out of place ; confused. charlie can’t stand to see her look so out of place for much longer.
‘ he’s uh – he’s not at the counter right now, ‘cause he’s probably out back smokin’. you can sit here if you’d like, till he comes back. ’
#runtcfthelitter#ooc: don't worry this is great! Im awful at starters/first meetings too lol but this is just fine seriously!#ooc: thank you

“That certainly sounds like an independent and stubborn woman” he said, walking out of the house “I do know about a place or two, but there is my favorite one. Full of good old memories” he said, showing her the way with a wave of his hand. He started walking once again “That’s, like, your 10th time making a move on me” he pretended to be shocked “I’m usually the one making moves, m’lady”
“Then why haven’t you?” Faith turned toward him and began walking backward in the direction that they were going in order to look him in the eyes. “Made a move on me that is..” She turned back, walking forward again with a smirk on her face. “What makes you so sure I’m making moves on you anyway?”

“Well, I’m a very nice guy” he chuckled, placing the oven on the place she wanted. And then, well, at her words, how could he deny? He was very curious about who this young woman was, what she was up to in this city and if her last name was Pierce or not (which would make Katherine her greatgreatgreatgreatgrandmother or something absurdly weird like that. “And then you can let me intrude asking why on Earth you didn’t hire some company to help you out” he said, going to the door.
“I thought I could do it all myself..which..I did for the most part - but I completely forgot about all the heavy stuff.” Faith admitted with a chuckle before sighing. “I guess I should’ve hired someone..but then I wouldn’t have met you now wouldn’t I?” She looked at him as they walked out of her house, before locking the front door. “Point me in the direction of good food and drinks! Preferably moreso drinks..” She giggled. “And then we can really get to know each other.”

Damon observed her searching, realizing that maybe his idea wouldn’t work out.. and when she said so, he agreed with a happy sigh “well, now I understand why guys feel attractive when girls make the first move” he said, turning around to go get the rest of the furniture. He managed to take the oven and, soon, he was at her door once again “where do you want to place this one?” he asked, looking around for the kitchen.
Faith smirked, “First move? You’re pretty confident for someone I just met, Damon.” Once he left, she took the time to seal up the boxes she’d been rummaging through and upon his return she looked up at him once again, those blue eyes getting to her every time. “Um...right here.” Faith pointed to the spot where she felt the oven would look perfect in the kitchen. “Again..thank you..” Her eyes went soft. “You really didn’t have to do this.” She drew in a deep breath and grabbed the keys to the UHAUL, moving past him to lock up the rest of the stuff before heading back inside. “If I’m being honest, I’m really hungry..and at this point I need a drink too, so..how about we go now?”

Faith. The name itself represented everything that Katherine did not. Mister Fate was certainly laughing at Damon’s face right now, but Damon was certainly mentally laughing as well. The irony was too big right here to just ignore it. “Do not worry, Faith, welcome to Mystic Falls by the way” he winked, charming as always while placing the couch down as well. “Dinner sounds nice, it definitely pays off for the wonderfulness of my company” he laughed softly, his eyes barely leaving her figure; that face used to mean much for him. And now… It brought nostalgic confusion. A weird feeling in his emotionless gut. “Maybe if you sorted the items in the kitchen out of the boxes while I carry the heavy stuff inside? Then I can help you cook, sounds like a deal?”
This certainly made her feel welcome for once, as kind as he was to help out a stranger. “I feel very welcome, thanks to you.” Faith smirked and turned toward the kitchen, her eyes glazing over each box in order to determine what she needed. “Help me cook huh? Be still my heart..” Faith chuckled, putting a hand over her chest as she continued to search through the boxes. She turned back toward him with a wrinkle of her nose, signaling that she felt defeated. Faith knew how to cook, in fact she was am excellent cook, but the lack of refrigeration and produce at the moment was a struggle for her. “I’m not sure what to do..I think I have to go to the store first..” She bit down on her lower lip in thought for a moment. “How about I take you out instead?”

Shout out to @rxnaascxncx because I was extremely nervous to come back from my 2+ year hiatus and start fresh, but they have been nothing but kind and patient with me as I’m getting the hang of things again.
:’) so thank you.

Faith couldn’t help but notice the man was eyeing her very closely, but she wasn’t sure why. Though, she chose to ignore it considering the fact that he was kind enough to help her. As he lifted his end of the couch, Faith took notice to just how attractive the man was. Those p i e r c i n g blue eyes were a weakness of hers. “Thank you..” Faith’s voice suddenly went soft, and sounded slightly nervous, something she wasn’t used to.
She leaned down to grab her end of the couch, lifting it with more ease than she expected. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Damon..I’m Faith.” She flashed a smile, gaining a bit more confidence as she began walking backward into her home. “I really appreciate this by the way...” Faith assured him as she set her end of the couch down where she wanted.
“I’d be happy to make you dinner..or buy you dinner..or something to show my appreciation?”

Everything was so new for Faith. Moving to Mystic Falls from New York was a huge change, but after the death of her parents, she felt that it was a much needed change. Most of her morning was spent moving things from the UHAUL truck into her new home which she would be residing in alone. Only a few things remained in the truck, but they were much heavier than the rest, and considering the fact that she rented the truck on her own and refused help - she realized now that she would in fact be needing help after-all.
“Excuse me..”
She turned toward a raven-haired male that caught her eye, walking nearby. “Listen, I’m so so sorry to bother you, but would you mind helping me move this couch into my house?” She realized it may not have been the best idea to invite a stranger into her home, but at this point she was desperate, and felt she could handle herself if it came down to it.
Faith flashed a small smile. “I’d be so thankful..”
